Note
Hi gerec! Hope you're doing well! Recently I'm obsessed with Mpreg! Erik and I wonder do you have any recommendation for this? Thank you so much!
Hi Anon! Here's a list of mpreg Erik fics for you to enjoy :D
Your Baby is My Supermagnet (My Baby is Your Drug) by Unforgotten
After Cuba, Erik and Charles are BOTH pregnant. Months later, the babies manifest in utero, making pregnancy that much more awkward for Charles - but dangerous for Erik.
Seeking Alpha by annejumps
Erik is a single omega who's managed to avoid entanglement with an alpha, but now his instincts are forcing him to reconsider.
Nightcap by Cesare
“You’re not, I hope, going to tell me that you’re pregnant,” says Erik.
“No,” Charles answers patiently. “If I were, you might have noticed some unusual behavior, like mood swings, sleeplessness, food cravings...”
Midnight Snack (The Robe And Slippers Remix) by helens78
Erik's been restless at night; Charles has some theories about why. It's a bit dangerous to point out mood swings, body changes, and possible secondary mutations in a kitchen, but Charles can be gentle.
A Matter of Convenience by flightinflame
All Erik cares about is keeping Nina safe. It isn't always easy, not when his past stalks him and there are few options available to a single mutant omega, but he's determined to protect her at any cost.
Charles loves his sons, biological and fostered, more than anything. They are flourishing in his care, but the state doesn't think a single alpha can handle children.
A chance meeting gives both of them a solution to their problems. Marry, and no one will try and split up their families. Only what starts off as a simple contract soon becomes far more complicated.
Father of the Bride AU by Unforgotten
A powered, modern era AU with mpreg. Originally inspired by the Steve Martin movies Father of the Bride (1991) and Father of the Bride Part II (1995), though it kind of took off running after that.
A Minor Mystery (Alone No More Remix) by Unforgotten
After D.C., a surprising development disrupts Erik's plans.
August by Red
For the XMFC kinkmeme, in response to a prompt asking for an mpreg story with some genetics thrown in the mix. While non-mutant couples may be able to conceive a mutant or a non-mutant child, for a couple with two mutants, there's a twenty-five percent chance of a third option: a fatal presentation of the mutant gene. Erik found out years ago that he was one of a number of (relatively cisgendered? this is an odd thing for me to be typing) mutant guys who have the secondary mutation of A Uterus. He'd also been told--years ago, but less so than the last statement--that he was infertile. He and Charles have been on the waiting list for adopting a mutant kid, but when morning sickness sets in, Erik can't exactly celebrate his sudden ability to get pregnant until he's ruled out that twenty-five percent chance.
Cue hiding a pregnancy from a telepath husband, dealing with Dr. MacTaggert's meddling, and trying to avoid the relentless well-wishing of the police department's esteemed Mutant Affairs Division.
home as a borderless metaphor series by flightinflame, specficslut (homosociality)
Erik has been traded to a foreign king for a chest of gold and a hundred bushels of grain. In Westchester, he must learn to start a new life... and navigate the roles that have been thrust upon him, whether concubine or courtesan, consort or slave.
Something Elemental (The What's That Smell? Remix) by professor
Erik used to love smelling Charles' cologne. Now he hates it. There's a reason for that.
Come On, Baby by firstlightofeos
Erik's almost a week past his due date. He and Charles are trying everything they can think of to speed things along—and of course, there's one method they prefer.
The Five Of Us Want You To Tell Him (But He'll Wait For You To Say) by helens78
Erik has something he needs to tell Charles, and everyone wants to weigh in on it. The Brotherhood isn't going to let him hide forever.
Come on, Baby (the correlation is not causation remix) by Red
Erik might be past-due for a normal pregnancy, but by the fourth time, he should realize he's well within time for one of his. That doesn't mean he's not going to try speeding things along.
Charles just hopes he survives (and wishes Erik could be faster getting in the car, once the show gets started).
Without the Words (this, and my heart beside Remix) by flightinflame
Charles knows that this arrangement will work out well for all of them. He gets the heir he needs, Doctor Shaw is saved disgrace after his ward's indiscretions, and Erik gets a fresh start. It would be easier, though, if Erik at least pretended to hide his hatred.
Baby of '78 by Unforgotten
Charles and Erik's daughter is born during a blizzard.
Unexpected by citrinesunset
Erik has no interest in having an alpha. Charles enjoys having flings with omegas, but certainly isn't looking for anything serious. But neither of them has been with another mutant before.
When Erik gets pregnant, they both have to decide if they can commit despite their differences.
Inheritance by PragmaticHominid
Erik and Charles attempt to survive and to keep their child safe in a world overrun by zombies.
It's Weird When Shaw Is Nice series by Not_You
A swords and sorcery AU where Sebastian Shaw is a gruff northern warlord, Erik is his first no-longer-mpreggable manwife, and Charles is the young and terrified virgin they marry for more babies. And then the story of those babies and their own marriages because epics happen to me.

Erik/Christine, but make it ABO (but also w nontraditional dynamics)
Bond had always sounded too close to the word bound for Erik’s tastes.
im actually doing it... aboctober but in february... or as I like to call it:
the O in ABO stands for Opera ghost

QPR Gwentin Take On X-Men First Class: First Meetings
The Coast Guard was in chaos. The target's boat was dead in the water, but a submarine attached to it was already heading into deeper waters.
Nothing they could do about it now. Best they could do was go back and use the eye witness testimony here to prove that Sebastian Shaw was more a threat to America than the telepath currently working with them.
And if they could fish out the person who had wrecked the boat, then even better. But it didn't seem likely.
"Someone's jumped overboard!" A voice called out, "It's Mr. Xavier!"
Goddammit. They needed that man alive. The telepath was going to be crucial in his project.
"We need to get them out of there." A boy next to him said hurriedly, "There's a shark in the water."
"Any shark that values it's life is far away from this mess." He snapped tiredly, before registering the strange bright pink hair on the boy, "Wait, who are you? How'd you get here?"
The boy didn't respond, too busy leaning over the safety rail between them and the ocean.
For a second, he almost thought the boy was going to throw himself overboard too, but then a pink aura lit up around something under the water, lifting it up to reveal three tiny silhouettes, which were unceremoniously dumped onto the boat.
The boy took off towards them, and he, being an important CIA agent now technically in charge of such matters, followed.
Charles Xavier was there, looking like a drowned rat, yet his arms still tightly wound around the mystery man, who might have been the one to tear the boat in half.
Mystery Pink Boy ran past both of them and tackled the third, much small thing, he had lifted from the ocean, and cradled it in his arms, "If he's lost any teeth, Gwen will have your head." He spat.
"I don't who Gwen is and that thing tried to take my leg off!" Mystery Man replied with equal venom.
"Jeff was trying to help, you ingrate!"
Finally, he was able to get a good look at what Mystery Pink Boy was holding. It was a shark pup. With a mouth full of razor sharp teeth leaking blood. And four little nubs of legs.
He'd had just about enough of evolution these past few hours.
---
As far as I can tell, unnatural hair dye colors were first seen in the 70s, meaning Gwen and Quire with their bright pink hair would stick out.
Also the POV is meant to be that guy from the movie. Who was never given a name. Yet headed the mutant research division. I'll probably call him Todd or something. Or do a meta thing where Gwen asks him "what's your name?" And he realizes for the first time he's gone through life without a name and it gets very existential for a second before we skip to another scene and it never gets mentioned again.

Omega HCs:
Ok so I know I said I would go to work rn BUT that post from sublimetragedychopshop (dunno if they’d wanna be tagged. Or what their pronouns are, sorry) got my neurons firing, so one more thought before I gotta go verbally pvp these customers. Or many thoughts. If my yanderes were omegas in an a/b/o universe:
Equally likely to genuinely forget to take their heat suppressants and birth control as they are to purposely sabotage them: Mika and Brucie (I also think Brucie in particular would like babytrapping you and being a parent)
100% intentional sabotage of both: Elena (although idk if vampires can even get pregnant, sooo…)
“Forgets” the suppressants but conveniently remembers to take the birth control: Erik

Cherik fics - That ONE line - 35
「Fluff. Fluff everywhere. Abundance.」
To Love and Be Loved by librata
Summary: Erik wakes up on a Sunday morning to an empty bed and a house full of chaos.
The quote:
His wheelchair wasn’t in its usual place at the bedside either, which explained the gnawing absence against his metalsense.
+1+2+…
Desperately, Erik extended his metalsense outward, only breathing when he latched on to the metal frame of Charles’s wheelchair, which was also surrounded by several smaller tokens. Silver and gold necklaces for the twins. Titanium earrings for Jean. A platinum bracelet for David, and a minuscule cobalt anklet for two-year-old Nina. Erik could feel each piece of metal, flitting around Charles somewhere downstairs.
+…
“But Daddy says that real hearts kinda look like blobs, so it’s okay.”

AU-gust 2023
Pairing(s): Erik/Shaw, Cherik Warnings: Implied domestic violence
4. Runaway
“Don’t go anywhere,” Sebastian warns, while he has Erik pinned beneath him, panting and writhing and pretending to want it, like he can’t get enough. “I’ll have Azazel check on you while I’m gone. Make sure you’re okay.”
It’s not for his benefit that Sebastian has someone looking in on Erik while he’s away; it’s about control, and about Sebastian being omnipresent in his life. He’s learned the hard way not to argue or try to push back, knowing it would only make his alpha angry and impose even more restrictions to Erik’s day to day activities.
So he smiles, and kisses Sebastian back, and tells him he’ll miss him while he’s in Shanghai for the week. Azazel won’t check in until tomorrow, so he has an almost twenty-four hour head start. Still, he waits until Sebastian’s flight is in the air, and only after he calls the airline to verify that his husband actually boarded the plane. Then it’s a mad scramble to get the bag he’s hidden in the garage, and to grab the emergency money Sebastian has stashed away in the study. He has his driver’s license but not his passport; that’s locked away in the safe unless he’s on vacation with Sebastian. Everything else he leaves in the drawer of his nightstand so it can’t be traced back to him – his cell, his credit cards, his laptop, his wedding ring – anxious but more than ready to leave this life behind him.
He leaves the car – another tie, another way to trace his whereabouts – and takes a cab into the city, where he takes transit to the place where’s he’s stashed an old Toyota in long term parking. It had taken him a couple of years of scrimping to save enough for a used car, even one that won’t last much more than the cross-country trek he’s about to make to New York.
The I-15 takes him out of the city in good time, and he’s almost tempted to drive as long and as far as he can without stopping, eager to put as much distance as he can from the place he’s called home for the past ten years. But he also knows that he needs to stop and rest – if not for him, then certainly for the baby – even if the irrational fear he feels is overwhelming; that Sebastian is right on his heels, ready to drag him back and punish him for daring to leave him.
He’s done his research and mapped this trip meticulously, so he knows exactly where to stop for the night, paying cash for his room and grabbing a quick bite at the diner across the street. It’s hard when he has zero appetite, his nerves rubbed raw and adrenaline still coursing through his body. Still, he forces himself to eat all the food on his plate, because he has to take care of the baby inside him; has to do everything he can to protect them and keep them safe.
(Ironic, that in a way, the baby is also keeping Erik safe – he doesn’t know if he would have ever followed through with his plans to leave if not for the unexpected pregnancy.)
He takes a shower after dinner, and takes his time cleaning all traces of Sebastian from his body; traces he left inside Erik before he left that morning for the airport. The bruises don’t disappear quite as easily, though he supposes they’ll fade away like all the others he’s worn under his clothes. It barely hurts him anymore, when Sebastian is rough with him in bed; it’s only the thought of Sebastian accidentally hurting the baby – or of him finding out about the baby – that fills Erik with dread.
Once he’s dried off and dressed again, he grabs the burner phone from his bag, along with the card that he’s kept hidden away since graduation. Erik desperately hopes that the number still works, and that the person on the other end still remembers him, and considers them friends.
He dials the number, and waits for the call to connect.
“Hello? Charles Xavier speaking.”
“Charles? It’s Erik. I need your help.”

The World Might Not Want To Change
Chapter 2/3
Chapter 1 / Chapter 2 / Chapter 3
Hi again, Isa here ✨ thank you for reading the first prt, I hope you enjoy this second 😚 I had this ready for a while but between my holidays and an upcoming existential crisis I wasn't on the mood to do something else but read...
Thanking once again @raelwrites for the inspiration given with her masterpiece: Gunpowder and Cinnamon.
Warnings: Black humor. Angst, fluff, mentions of dead characters, slight triggering topics (please be careful with this) Bad words (?) cursing.
Pairings: alpha!reader x omega!Matt Murdock x alpha!Frank Castle, platonic!Beta! Yelena Belova x alpha!reader.
"Even if you denied your inner alpha by using you telekinetic and telepath abilities you can not stop yourself from wanting to protect those close to your heart. Even if that meant bringing dangerous people in search of your blood and pain from people that used to be long ago, your pack."
---------
Charles woke up screaming your name, his hands thrashed against the sheets and the feeling of drowning overcame him "Look at me! Charles focus on me!" A voice was inducing him out of the flash of your mind and the imminent dead in it
"Charles, look at me! You are here, in the school, you are with me!" His lover scent washed all over the place, the always soft and comforting lemon now was bitter, stressing Erik who tried to engulf it with his own ivy influence.
Slowly, Erik coaxed his mate into consciousness, until Charles's eyes were focused on his and the choking breath became even. His hand flew to Erik's shoulder, grasping it with enough force to bruise "I saw it– it's a memory, something that happened a few moments ago. I– they're in danger– we can't– we can not–" Erik made him sit up on the corner of the bed, hanging his head between his legs.
"Ja, mein leibe, breath... like that, deep breaths."
Charles did what his alpha commanded and soon his head clear enough to be able to speak properly, first was your name and Erik was already preoccupied " needs us, I couldn't see very well, but it was like I was there, with them." His mate kept making small reassuring circles on his back.
"How was that possible? Their mind was supposed to be closed for you."
The last time Erik talked to you was when you were leaving in a rush, to never come back to them. Charles couldn't get into your mind and that had almost broke him, Erik understood, he really did, after all Jean and Scott where your first pack, who never let you down and who didn't let you let any body down. They were your world and you were theirs, until Phoenix.
Even after knowing all that, Erik still ached for the day you left them. He knew your pain was bigger than everybody else, bigger than Logan's, but it didn't stop him from missing you, you were like a daughter to him, to Charles. You used to call him "Ada" like the endearment from the stories you loved so much. And letting you go broke him from the inside.
"They were protecting someone." The voice of his mate made him ground himself.
"Who?"
"Their pack mate."
_____
"Yelena snarled at the first moment Frank took out his gun and in a blink you were moving as well as Matt, but it wasn't fast enough. "No!" A bullet was shot and then the world faded to black."
It was like you disconnected from the reality. Your body was there but it was like you were watching everything from the ceiling of the big ass factory. Yelena's snarl and the upcoming danger made your inner alpha snap and for a split of a second your power slipped out of your tight minded grip.
Your power was always perceived for you as Jean's one. But a long time ago you wondered if there wasn't more inside you. It felt like you could fold the very existence with your bare hands. You felt powerful, more than Charles's mind tricks and Jean hidden existential crisis. And now, well... seems you were right.
You saw the single second the lights were obscured with a dense cloud of darkness, like a liquid floating in space and surrounding Yelena and your self and... Matt, still behind the guy.
When the lights went back on you were all in the same spot, you protecting an enraged groaning Yelena and the man in front of an indecisive Matt. But the bullet that was shot was slowly evaporating inches from your forehead.
The snarling alpha, still wounded, opened his eyes quite comically and your neutral scent hit all three of them. It wasn't bitter or overbearing, it was as –exactly the way you felt– it wasn't there reacting to the moment.
"The fuck?" Said Frank before taking a sniff and involuntary relaxing to the welcomed scent.
Yelena said your name, holding your hand to grab your attention, she would have been happy and all over the clouds, if this was but a different scenario. However now you needed to come back to your senses. She tried to step in front of you but with an enormous force you grab her from the waist, stopping her from coming between you and the man still holding the gun.
Perhaps she would regret this, but there was nothing else that came to mind "Alpha."
Your gaze snapped to her and then she noticed the blue glowing iris, no pupil. In a way it was endearing, your hold on her was soft yet firm and your calm face while gazing into her eyes mesmerised her
"Stay" the tone was that of a command and she found herself obeying with happiness. It would have been perfect, your scents mixing and recognising each other. But you looked back at the men and suddenly Yelena remembered that even if this was the first time you let her scent you, a man had just shot you, and failed miserably, but still.
Matt didn't realised it at the beginning, but as seconds passed after your command he could hear you, all of you, the sound of you being alive, being there. Not like a ghost that was able to move things like a fucking poltergeist, no, now he could sense you.
"Put the gun down or I will make you." The guttural tone of the alpha in you was growling, asserting dominance over the situation. A chill swept over Frank's spine and even if his alpha snarled and purred at the sound, he put that weird reaction aside. He gulped once, twice and with another sniff of your scent –which was still neutral, without true feeling behind– Frank put the gun down, making Matt let out a sigh of relief. "Now. Get. Out."
"Hey no, wait–" Matt tried to talk but you wouldn't even look his way, Frank's scent –wood and pine– was washing all over him and protecting him from yours, even if you were the dominant in this moment, Matt was his. And you were just a menace –that helped him, yes, but he didn't know you– "Not you omega. The alpha that tried to kill my pack." Welp, thought Matt, here we go...
"Like fuck I will!" Your posture remained the same and The Devil from Hell's Kitchen was counting the sound of the palpitations on your chest. They didn't change, your breathing didn't race. You had no physical reaction to the last threat, unease creeping at him.
The amount of scents flowing through the room made your clouded mind start to clear. First it was your surroundings, your body felt like yours again, the arm behind you that kept Yelena secure against your back was turned to life again, you could feel the texture of her sweater in your fingertips, every fibre of it and you centred yourself in that.
"Hey, alpha," Matt whine made Frank and you look at him, and his focus traveled between both of you. "There's no danger in here." He said your name with exquisite delicacy and held Frank's hand "they healed you, Yelena healed you. This is their safe space." He let his suave essence been known then,
Both men connected their gazes, one with uncertainty, worry and the other reassuringly. At his omega's soft purring, Frank took a deep breath and looked back at you.
You were slowly starting to realise what you have just done and so, the scent of comfort, warm that guarded Yelena started to buzz with fear.
The omega heard it then, your heart started beating faster by the second, your skin showing microscopic drops of sweat.
Frank almost took a step to you as the sudden decrease of your scent. The lack of cerulean glow in your eyes melted away.
The air around shifted between the omega, your beta and the alpha and... you could scent yourself again, after many years you almost forgot what was the characteristic of your inner alpha.
Yelena's was the first that enraptured you in an almost cooing manner, trying to reassure you, she was like the grass on the morning dew, freshly wet earth, fresh and cool. Your heart ached for it, your alpha purred and whined searching for comfort, to hold onto her and never let her go... but your mind was stronger and it couldn't avoid the other scents that were trying to reach you, out of a longing that Matt and Frank didn't know they had.
You flinched when they mixed with yours and Yelena's, like a brick hitting you straight in the face.
“No" you dropped Yelena from your grasp, the factory coming out of the darkness and you started to retract yourself, putting little by little all the walls you had carefully planted around your mind, your body, the air surrounding you. The memories were flooding your mind, you couldn't take this, you couldn't do it again-
"Stop, you will hurt yourself." You heard from somewhere around you, it wasn't your beta.
No... no, she was not your beta, she was Yelena, her own person, she wasn't your belonging she was... "Don't you dare touch her!" A feminine voice snarled and the alpha in you growled out for you to help her and to stop you from hiding your scent from them.
Matt tried to reach out for you before Frank and Yelena could stop him, but a snarling ripped out your throat –one that had him recoiling with a whimper– and stop him. You were going into a frenzy, he could hear you, you were about to pass out if you continued this way.
Your name came out in a harsh voice, deep, strained, it was the alpha in there commanding you. "Whatever you are trying to do is starting to hurt you. You must stop. Now." it didn't do anything, it actually had the contrary effect. And then the triggering happened
"Alpha."
In a whiplash that caused you a stinging pain in every muscle in your body, the power around you completely covered you, your sense returned. Your alpha cried, snarled at you, it was begging now, whimpering in pain for having lost the freedom you deny yourself. It groaned, it scratched against your head bringing you down and making you ache from the inside.
But you had had enough.
"Do not call me that." The room became quiet.
Matt couldn't hear you anymore, you were there but not there. Frank couldn't scent you, like your calming aroma never existed in the first place. And that was the beauty of the chaos power you possessed. You wiped every trace of existence from the world, including your own self, every little trace.
Yelena enveloped you in her arms, she understood, she knew and so she blinded you from the alpha looking at you with longing and the omega who was crouched in the floor, four steps away from you both.
She didn't smell like anything anymore. You weren't able to recognise her apart from the smell of her fruity shampoo. You breathed and your brain was welcomed with the smell of the old decadent building, helping your mind to remind yourself where were you.
"Al–"
"Don't" Yelena cut Matt before another disaster happened. "We helped you, now get out of here."
"They can't continue doing this to themselves, it will kill them." Spoke again the lawyer. Neither of you answered and by the incessant movement between clothes you might have been a shaking mess with words spoken from under your breath.
"Now they know where I am, not the– the wrong ones but Charles... he surely heard me, he has never stoped searching for me. He will come and I can't Yelena, I just can't..."
Frank was there, stunned, watching your beta comfort you in a way that if it was anyone but a different person, he would have took you out of her arms only to be nestled between Matt's. Or his.
It was weird, how such emotions could come up to his mind only by getting your scent once, and to his disappointment it was already fading away.
"Who is coming for you?" Matt's question startled you all. You didn't have the mind to answer, you couldn't hear past your own sobs, the cooing of the beta holding you and the memories flooding your mind. Memories of days that you were sure have locked away in the farthest part of your brain.
But so much could you do against time.
"Later." Her arms snaked around you and lifted you with little trouble until you were secured and holding onto her for dear life. "You better get some rest. If you're going to stay better to do something useful and start planning what to get for breakfast. That's the least think you could do after today." Yelena growled.
Without waiting for them to answer she walked slowly to the stairs, careful not to drop you and not waisting energy when hoisting you up every time you slipped a little.
Yelena laid with you all night, talking to you about her travels before meeting you and the adventures she had before the blip. All the amazing women she met and the few that helped her.
At first you couldn't listen with the pain in your forehead and the heart hammering in your chest. But after two hours of buzzing in front of you, her voice became audible. Looking at her profile you listened to every tiny detail she gifted you with.
There were some stories of little battles that resembled some you had when you were still with the X-men and then, after you left them. So you shared them as well.
You supposed that perhaps, every individual that dedicated their lives to a major good, was going to coincide in some aspects of their fights. And you dare to wonder, if you shared this kind of talks with the omega down stairs... what stories would you two share and agree with?
The breath in your lungs hitched. Yelena, noticing, swung an arm around you, nestling her face in your neck, where your scent gland should smell more, it didn't. But still she pictured it again, fading away in her memory, just like the chaos magic around you worked.
"The man is The Punisher. He was startled to be in a foreign place and so he shot you. Your crazy ass dissolved the bullet and then your eyes started glowing and you tried to kick him out right before you came back to your senses – I mean not exactly normal senses but you know what I mean–" you rolled your eyes and she chuckled. You were almost back to her.
The silence was a welcomed one for a few minutes. Charles surely knows where you are now. Which means that the first one they will contact is Logan... which only means you are fucked and... yeah, that's it.
"Do you wanna talk with them?"
"The X-men?" You looked at her with a raised brow.
"No, little Satan and his boyfriend downstairs. You looked quiet pissed before but, I think they will survive you now." Laughing a little you couldn't deny that a tiny bit part of you would have wished to stay an alpha and scent them. Both of them. But the coherent and pained bigger part in you said 'nah, we are good, thank you'
"Yeah, I really don't want to... but I have to so... let's go, you rat." She rolled her eyes and both of you got up the bedroll to meet the men at the bottom of the building.
"Why didn't ya tell me, Red?" If Frank got a penny for every time Matt did something stupid in pos of his so called safety, then he would have been not rich, but able to buy at least two automatic cars with an entire insurance.
"You were almost dead and the other half of the time you were trying to kill me. So, I couldn't really ask you how you wanted to break free from the mind control they had you in, you now?" Matt's scent washed over his alpha, reassuring him even if the other scoffed unamused. He wouldn't have it any other way even if it still worried him that he put his own self in danger just to keep him safe. "Besides, I kinda had in mind what would happen."
"Yeah, which part? Me almost putting a bullet through their head or them almost killing me with the glowing bulbs they have for eyes?"
"First of all, you were so far away from killing me that it's offensive for you to even consider that," your voice startled the alpha, making Matt's mocking smile appear, 'little bastard', murmured Frank. "Second, my eyes are more like stars in the sky for what I've been told, thank you very much."
"Funny, quite funny actually, if you looked from my perspective sweetheart, they looked like the last light at the end of the tunnel, sm'where no one wants to go with true meaning." Frank looked at you from the couch and caught himself missing the scent he smelled in you a few hours ago.
"Castle, be nice"
"I'm being nice, Red. They over there, just have the right sense of humour." Now, your eyebrows furrowed.
"I actually meant that, y'know. It's not like a tiny man like you could defeat me."
Yelena rolled her eyes and walked to sit in front of Matt. He smiled at her direction.
"Little? Doll, you have no idea how wrong you're." He stood up, now you were fully conscious that yes, indeed, he was way taller than you expected.
While walking towards you, his arms crossed and almost every ounce of alpha commanding scent washing over you and Matt and in consequence, Yelena, that scrunched her nose.
"Don't do that." Your playful banter was over, Matt could hear it and Frank could see it in the way your small smile fell and the pursue in your lips looked like that one of a wolf groaning in aggression. "If you want to keep your nutsacks attached to your body do not go all alpha near us."
The Devil left out a soft chuckle that threatened to become a full laugh at his alpha little heart attack.
Frank immediately retreated. His hands up in front of him, his scent fading. You didn't use a commanding voice, but he could recognize the fear behind the rage, like the mask you used now. "M'sorry." He mumbled.
He went to sit alongside Matt. You exchanged a reassuring look with Yelena searching for food in your bag, almost everything was out of the 24 hour store and this earned a disapproving look from the alpha in front of you. "What? Do you want to go to a restaurant?"
"Let's talk about the main problem here, ok?" Your gaze snapped away from Frank's annoyed look, right back at Yelena. "The problem we have here is that even if we do know the location, the replica of the stone and it's properties are unknown, if and only if the power that it has is the same as one of the Infinity Stones, then... we are fucked."
"I could grab it." You said.
"Sure, sure. You don't even know how much power you can bend."
"I can do it!"
"Really? Tell me again, how many times have you grabbed and survived an Infinity Stone with the power to– I don't know, evaporate half the universe?" You sighed, of course you could fucking do it!
"She's right," continued Matt "you don't know that. We need another option. Perhaps someone else that has the power to destroy it even." You opened your mouth to speak but the alpha stopped you. "Do you happen to know someone with that characteristics, Matt? I think they could do it." The omega didn't seem faced by The Punisher calling him by his name. The snarl he gave was more because of even suggesting using you to grab an unknown powerful stone.
"Of course I can do it!" Matt and Yelena let a low 'sure' course you can' you ignored them "Besides we don't have the time to search for someone. For what we know they could be already manufacturing it."
"In that you're wrong, as well as in the 'I can do it', we do know that it's still in programming, it's being made in a facility outside of the city, but still close enough for the easy manoeuvring. For being an evil lair they are pretty concerned for the well being of his employees."
"Where is this facility?"
"Four hours from here."
The four of you sit there in silence, eating from the junk food you gave them earlier.
Frank was a little on edge. They had already fought against Fisk and his problematic childhood trauma consequences. Now there was a bigger threat that not only concerned Hell's Kitchen but seemingly the entire world if the plans of the big guy were to be on full display.
"Did you talk with the contact Matt gave you?" Asked you Yelena.
You went to see this Foggy Nelson and he informed you of everything he knew about the last case and everyone involved —by Matt's request—
He was a little on edge, —as everyone seemed to be— when you entered 'cause of the lack of scent and Karen couldn't even stop herself from asking if you were, real? It wasn't the weirdest thing someone has told you, but still made you snort when you remembered their faces.
"Yep, no one has had any kind of contact with the former Kingpin... and not even the threats seemed to change his answers" You had gone to the places of every men and women that were between the suspects of crimes in the name of Fisk. But no one even dare to lie. You made sure of that.
Matt tilted his head "You went– you went to see each one of them?" He clenched his fist with the lack of heartbeat from you.
"Well, yes. It's not that I don't trust your contact –fine I don't, but that's not why I didn't go. I needed to meet them, in case something goes wrong when everything is ready to go."
"I might know of someone that can help with some info." Frank spoke and looked between the three of you. "Deadpool, he, uh, 'left' some info on his safe trash can, s'mthing about a plot twist or shit."
Frankly he couldn't even remember the exact words but Wade had made sure that Frank remembered the exact location of that bag, and when he tried to know more about it or take it, Wade only told him that if that bag was touched before he met an alpha without scent then he would spend all of his days with his little apartment covered in a black mass of unknown precedence.
Frank already knew that Wilson was a little psycho so he followed through, besides he didn't really think that it would actually come a time when you, an alpha without scent, would appear on his life.
"I don't think anything from him could be of help, Frank." Yelena said and Frank looked at her with terror. You let out a chuckle when Matt's mouth hanged open. Russian girls an their unfiltered words.
"We could try and see what he has left. The last time I helped Wilson it wasn't that bad actually." You murmured.
Frank sighed. Yep, this was a very weird experience.
"So, Frank," continued Matt " will go fish the info and I will continue patrolling. The little facility is under vigilance 24 7 and the guards are changing rounds every three hours and never leave the place. There's a truck that brings them supplies which comes from outskirts of New York, I will follow it and try to sneak through." You all nodded in agreement.
"I will go with you," Yelena said and the omega agreed with a tiny smile. If you were out of the cocoon of your power, you would have smelled their scents mixing and knowing each other "I need to map out the easiest exits and the emergency entries."
"Then I guess I'll–"
"You," the beta interrupted you " will deal with the problem of your power and the ones that are surely on their way here." Shit, you forgot about that.
"Who is coming from you?"
"What?"
Both Frank and Matt growled at the seeming threat. Someone was coming for you? And you were going to be left alone?
"Yeah, I– I used the power back there remember?" They nodded "I'm being track by my last pack. They are good people just a little concerned for me not contacting them for almost six years." Yelena gave you a look, and the other problem? "They don't know, ok? It wasn't enough of my power for them to reach me." She sighed in relief and gave a squish to your hand.
"And when they find you what? Will they take you with them?" Frank bit out, a growl threatening in his chest.
The problem was that his own reaction confused him, he didn't know why, he didn't wanted to know so he searched refuge in Matt, who let him nuzzle against his hair.
"If I want to go with them then, yes, most probably." You couldn't find it in yourself to look at them, the way Matt was comforting Frank who was visible angry. Or the hands of the omega clenching and unclenching one in Frank's vest chest plate and the other at his side. "This is not the point anyways. Take this" you gave each a little transmitter with a tiny ear microphone "it has a range of ten miles so if you need assistance from us" you said pointing at Frank and then you "you'll have to use the burner phones or a radio from the facility."
With everyone agreeing you sit back sighing. This one was going to be a ride to remember.
"Hey," murmured Yelena. "Sure you'll be ok? I could stay." You denied with your head and hugged her while laying down. It was a comfort and she wrapped her arms around you searching for it as well. "What little Satan said– if they want you to go with them– I'm not asking this just for you to not do it, I just wanna know– will you go with them?"
Your arms tighten around her and you pressed you nose to her neck, her scent would have been bitter with concern? Would she have enveloped you with it? Would she be letting you scent her with your own?
"Yes, but I would drag you along and if they didn't want you then I would just flip them off and keep myself with you." Yelena laughed, surprisingly relaxed.
"Flip them off? You would probably do more than that don't lie." You disentangled yourself a little, for the offended look you gave her. "Excuse me? I'm a proper person, and like one, I do know how to behave."
"By flipping them off."
"Shut up, Belova, you scream obscenities at people all the time!" You whispered in a scream.
"It doesn't count if they don't understand it!"
Behind you two, the alpha and the omega sat together. Matt was playing with Frank's finger while listening to the conversation with closed eyes. Frank had his head on his omega's lap, enjoying the soft murmurs and little laughs his beta and his alpha made.
"You feel it too, right Red?" Matt smirked.
Even if you were probably still pissed at him, at both. They couldn't deny the pull they felt towards you both. In quite a different meaning. It was there with Yelena, she was the scent that even then comforted them, a little of light for you as well as for them. She cared for you, protected you and you did the same for her.
And then there was you.
The scent you owned was no longer in the air. But Matt couldn't stop trying to get a whiff every time you laughed a little louder or moved to get more comfortable. He couldn't hear your heartbeat. And for that little time where you let your powers down, it made him long for you as much as he longed for Frank. And Frank, for god's sake.
He thought he was surely going insane. There he was in front of you, right after he shot you and the first thing that crossed his mind wasn't how well he protected Matt, no. He felt fear, and as fast as that emotion came it went away.
It was uncommon to get imprinted on someone so fast, and for solely a few seconds of even not direct contact. But there they were.
Why did you hide your scent? Why did you get angry when Frank called you alpha? Yelena was there, acting like your pack, like your beta, but you didn't act as an alpha. You behave like one when your eyes were glowing and the darkness crawled at the place. But then–
It was like you almost hated it. And if you hated it in yourself, would you hate it on him? Would you reject him for being an alpha?
"I feel it too." He said your name in a whisper, longingly "calls for us. Perhaps they can scent it, their power wouldn't allow it, but it would be the same for them, if their guard was down."
After a few minutes of soft touches and purring, Frank spoke again "Be careful later will'ya? Don't wanna have to drag you out of that place."
"Don't worry Frank. I'll be."
"Take care of Yelena, too."
"Mhm, yes alpha." Frank groaned.
"You take care of yourself too, and our alpha."
"We won't be near each other." Murmured Frank.
"Now, now. I seriously don't believe you're gonna let them alone for long, will you?" At Frank's little scoff the omega smirked and kissed his lips. Their combined scents made Yelena smile a little, her own scent dancing with theirs, calming them.
Carding you closer from your position, nuzzled in her chest, the only thing that she wished she had right now was you.
Having you completely.
––––––
"Well, shit."
You had been waiting patiently for one hour, surveying the few abandoned houses around the factory. Yelena left, with you promising to take care of yourself and she promised the same. She had been acting warmly to Satan and Frank and for her it was something unbelievable.
The good bye with them was ehm... awkward.
Frank and Matt felt that pull towards you, the one that could only be felt to a destined alpha, it was the same kind of bond they share and when they found out time ago, they were reclutant, they still are sometimes. After all, their methods were very different from each other. It was a grey area where they were standing, but they could manage themselves pretty well. They didn't live together or shared a nest, but were constantly guarding each other or going to help. Scenting was very common as well.
But nothing beyond that.
Their life style was complicated, they had made enemies along the way and living with the fear of the other getting hurt because of those said enemies was something they didn't want to deal with. So they had to live with the pain of never being able to bond or share a nest. Nothing more than a few hours, days if they were lucky. When they will talk about everything they could.
Frank knew he couldn't lose another love, another omega he fell so deeply for. And so he was ok with that as well as Matt, who had seen what others could do to the bonded of people like him or Frank. Even then, there was that present feeling at the back of their heads, that something wasn't completely right.
That perhaps, the decision of not starting a courting or sharing a bond for the danger was only an excuse for something that they never thought about in all seriousness.
So when Matt met you, this pull was there, almost inexistent. And when Frank shot you, his nerves were on the verge of bringing him into a breakdown. And your scent, that godly scent that now was a lost memory in their minds, seemed to be carried in their subconscious.
You couldn't feel this. The scents of them, what exactly they felt like, what they smell like. You could only remember Yelena's and that was fading away too. Your power didn't allow your brain to cry over that. It was all part of the protection it held.
But your alpha was still fighting against your good will.
And the awkward good bye you had with them almost made you reach out and slap their faces. What the fuck was wrong with them both?
Yelena was in the background waiting for Matt an laughing her ass off. She could feel it, how they wanted to reach out, and their insecurity. So she kept quiet and then run with Satan following her. Frank giving you one last look and going in the opposite direction.
Perched again in the roof of a lost building you saw them before you heard them. The slight change on the clouds and the reflection of the ship landing right behind the abandoned factory. Your old pack was there.
"You're not dead." Was the greeting Erik gave you when you approached them but even before you could answer, Charles telekinesis was pulling you towards him and soon his arms were engulfing you with bruising force. "Well, now surely they will be, Charles if you keep on strangling them"
"Sorry, sorry I just thought that–" he let go from the hug but kept his hands on your face, searching in your forehead, reassuring himself that you were unharmed. "You destroyed it."
"Yes, my control slipped and– well, I was able to stop it." You murmured.
"We've missed you, meine liebe. Why you never contacted us again? We wouldn't have took you away, you know that."
You looked at Erik with shame. "I was afraid, I thought that– that you'll never forgive me for leaving and– ugh, I'm sorry–" next thing you knew Erik was holding you "Das ist falsch. We will never hold a grudge against you. We understood, even then, a little." His child again in his arms, the love of his life joining both of you in the hug, making you both fall on his lap between laughs and giggles and a bunch of memories of this exact position came to your mind.
You had missed them.
––––
"... and that's what I'm doing here." You sighed after explaining all your adventures and the people you met.
Erik shared a look with his bonded, you were still denying yourself and he knew that at the end, it will end hurting more than you.
"They are going to be part of your pack soon or later, no matter what." Spoke Charles, trying to sound convincing. "What you are doing, it's admirable, but you can't deny who you are, what you are."
"It's not that Charles, I just–"
"Then what is it? What scares you so much that you can't let yourself be?" Erik cut in giving you that poker face of his. For a few seconds you were tempted to let your power free and scape from them, their questions, their unconformity. It was such a shame that Charles had mind tricks as well.
"After Jean, I– I was devastated. I felt like Scott left me behind, and I understood y'know. But that didn't stop for the pain it caused me. So I..." you licked your lips, running your hands through your hair. "I started to search for a reason, I joined causes that weren't exactly honourably ones. I did things that required my alpha abilities. I am– you know– I am a first alpha, so I put my self for good use."
You avoided their gazes, getting lost in all the memories of the alpha in you going around in a killing rampage. Without a leash or a pack that could control you. "You were an assassin." Said Erik, you could only nod in shame. But as what years of cold heart killing had taught you, you hold their gazes again, before continuing your tale.
"I was losing it, my goal in life, my sense of humanity, my principles. But I met some one that– some one that changed me, she had gone through the same thing. She had lost every one in her life, she was lost. And she got out."
"Wanda Maximmoff helped me see that this label, this categories can be broken, with time. She avoided her pain like that. And I–" you let out a shuddering breath. The alpha and omega in front of you looked at you with sadness, they knew what was coming, this wasn't the first time they heard of some one breaking his place over the alpha, beta and omega structure "I decided I don't want to feel that pain again. Jean's dead broke me and she wasn't even my bonded. If I ever hurt them. If I can't save them... I wouldn't stand it."
There, you had said it. A weight had lifted from your chest, a weight you carried every time you were alone and for a few days ago, every time you looked at Yelena. Now every time you felt them, Matt and Frank, trying to grasp a whiff of your scent. It was the pull, the weird consolation it gave you that maybe in another time, in another universe... perhaps...
You never dare to follow that line of thinking. It was too painful and unjust for you but mostly for them.
"So you are running away again." Surprisingly it was Charles who told you that. "You are running away for one bad experience with someone totally different from your destined mates?"
"Hey!"
"Charles"
"You'll break them, you'll break yourself and you'll drag them with you. This kind of bond is irrevocable once you find each other, and everything that comes after is amplified ten times, that includes the pain of rejection."
"I'm not running away, Charles!" A lump formed in your throat and Erik let his ivy scent flow to his omega, purring to console him, to making see he was about to cross a line. "I'm doing this for me, for once in my life I am taking a decision for me! No one else!"
"Well it's a shit decision you're making!"
"Excuse me? What gives you the fucking right to say that?"
"Let's calm down, c'mon, Charles..."
"No! Don't you see it...?" Charles said your name with desperation "I have the right to say it and you know it! I've lost people too, you are just making up excuses so you can, guess what darling? RUN. AWAY!"
"I AM NOT RUNNING AWAY, CHARLES!"
"What is going on here!"
Frank's voice traveled through the factory, you were still looking at a very defiant Charles but soon snapped away when Erik tried to reach Frank with his metal skills. "No! He is my partner!"
The alpha stopped on his fast walking to you when a metal spike almost ripped open the skin on his neck. "Erik!" You growled, quite literally, taking a menacing step at the threat to Frank.
When he was out of danger he finally catch up with you and tense introductions were made. No one spoke about what was being discussed before the alpha's arrival and he didn't dare to ask, by the way you were avoiding the topic and Charles's gaze that didn't seem like a good option.
------
"So he can read my thoughts." Murmured Frank at your side, his large frame almost touching you while you were looking at the info that he got from a very smug Wade. Just by remembering the little smirk of that speaking avocado his eyebrow shot up in annoyance.
"Yes, but he tries no to because of morality, honour and shit." Frank snorted and looked down at your face. Your eyes focused on the papers, hair away from your neck, lips moving with the soundless mumbles you made while reading.
If you had your scent, he surely would have been drowning in bliss. Instead he relinquished in the physical ways that made you who you were. And even like that, he started to float.
You looked at him when he whispered your name and were caught up on his dilated pupils. He was close, his forehead coming down almost touching yours. You're glad for the support you had on the table, otherwise you would have stumble backwards with the intensity of his eyes. "M'sorry. For shooting you, I never get to say it properly"
Moving his feet so to face you completely made your chests almost touch. He was like the sun, you thought, radiating warm and making you come closer without even attempting to.
His calloused fingers touched your skin and the tremble shooting across his body didn't go unnoticed by you. Murmuring your name again he cradled your head between his hands, his smile grew when the blush touched his fingertips and just like a mirror, you smiled as well.
"Frank," he was lost in the trance, his scent was all around you, touching you, trying to surpass the protecting field of your mental abilities, perhaps one day you would let him. Him and Matt "we can't do this, Frank."
Honestly, he didn't care, he knew something was making you fear this kind of contact, making you shy away from the chance of being loved, unconditionally loved. So he only hummed while resting his forehead with yours, noses nuzzling against each other. Your hands came to rest at his waist and the relieved breath he left out made you wonder what would his lips taste like?
Flying, that's what he felt like. There was no floor, no ceiling, no nothing. Only you and your hands on him, and your eyes staring at his with conflict and longing and something more. You were the anchor in that moment and he felt like laughing, like jumping with you on his arms. An addiction that would end up with you, Matt and him never letting go once you all had a taste. "Baby, hey, would you–"
A screamed ripped from your chest, making you jump away from Frank and him catching you before your trembling body could fall to the ground. He didn't care for Charles that was in a state just like yours. "Tell me what's wrong sweetheart, c'mon," he tried to coax you. He touched your head, and held it over your own hands. "Open your pretty eyes, d'rling, c'mon baby"
Only after a few minutes of sweet words and rocking you back and forth between his arms, did you started to talk, with worry "Frank, Frank! It's Yelena and Matt! Something is going to happen to them!" The alpha purring came a to a sudden stop and looking at you he knew what had to be done.
"We will help in all we can." Said Erik, with pale face and holding his mate's hand tightly. Same desperation as Frank's at not letting go of his beloved.
The alpha cradling you, helped you stand up properly and smoothed his hands along your frame once more, this time fearful, you'll explain him everything on your way there, on the meantime, you made sure to keep close to Frank until arriving at the facility.
"We'll use the plane." Frank eyebrow shot up. You will never be able to forget his face when the invisible nano technology morphed away letting into view the transport, right in front of him.
The structure of the facility was no where in sight. From the flight deck window only a small part of it was visible but far beyond the eye sight, the concrete wall was hiding with the use of nature climbing through the walls, enveloping the structure with green leafs.
"Are they in there?" For all answer Erik looked at him and then at you.
"Yes. But Charles is unable to reach them, there's a barrier not allowing him entrance."
"That's the Stone and if it already isn't allowing Charles in," you thought out loud, Frank looked at you worriedly, the situation promptly getting ahold of him even if he tried to suppress it "the creation has been successful."
"That's pretty obvious, meine Tochter." Erik scoffed "All right kinder , let's get going"
Unbuckling your seatbelt after the landing you made sure to have all the possible outcomes in your mind.
If they were already on the same place as the stone, the problem was relatively lower. But if they didn't know about it and by mistake they got closer without knowing of the success on the Stone... that was so not good.
Matt had the enhanced senses, which made it better, he could hear your power around you, he will hear this power as well. And if him and Yelena were together –thing you doubt, knowing the beta– they should find a way to communicate with you.
Frank murmured your name, already waiting for you at the middle of the plane. Erik was no where in sight "you a'right?" His scent moved towards you, reaching your layer of protection and unlike at the factory you recoiled from him, his scent and his extended hand.
"Don't do that" your words shocked him and the rejection drowned his mood. The whimper got stuck in his chest and in the want of comfort for himself his gaze lost his warmth.
For a few seconds he ponder what was wrong? What did he do do wrong? But as every other aspect of weakness in his life that caused pain, he compartmentalized his emotions. Shutting down from you.
"Let's go then." He turned, about to leave you there with no more than a nod.
To be honest with yourself, your mind had biggest issues like the security of Yelena and Matt to be worrying for the emotional injured alpha who's heart you must likely just shattered. But you couldn't stop the ache growing inside you at the retreating man, you had a point of view of things, you were sure of them.
"Frank, I'm sorry"
He didn't stop in his tracks, the sting of you not wanting him fresh on his skin. It was a weird sensation, something he never would have thought will happen. But with you making up your mind, Matt would try to get to you as well, he would get rejected too.
"Perhaps," the man murmured your name, a cadence in the sound with such neutrality that made you wince "you should think things through. It's not bad y'know?"
Yes, yes you did know. You had once lived it, the bliss of being prt of a pack. And you had know the growing, endless pain of losing them as well.
"I wish I could say I haven't."
"Is me being an alpha the problem?"
His question made you stiffen, your heart rate going up to the clouds, what was he saying?
"No! Of course not! It's-" how could you explain it, without making things worst? "It's a personal decision, for my own good."
He knew in a way, something could have happened to you, and he knew that his luck was short when it came to his personal life. Matt was enough, he would always be enough, but with you pushing apart from them without they never even having you in the first place— he struggled to form proper words.
His throat constricted with a lump, "Don't hurt Matt." He said with a strangled voice and left you there.
You sighed getting your hands in your hair and pulling a little. You couldn't focus on this right now... the alpha in you broke in a pitiful cry.
Why are you doing this?
Why are you turning him down?
Why?
This past years of your life you had lived for those goals, being free of the chains the world defined for you. Being free to chose over your reactions and emotions and needs. But it seemed to be something that went out of the window starting with Yelena. She was your family now, and not because of the fact of you being an alpha –you weren't able to feel your scent or hers after all– but because you had a normal unaltered connection with her.
Then was Matt who literally dragged Frank into your already complicated situation and this feelings of homesick and longing just spiked up!
And no matter how much your inner alpha growled at you or tried to take your power down, this wasn't the time.
So you let Frank go.
Outside the plane Erik didn't say a word at the palpable tension or the way Frank adjusted his guns on the holsters with more force than required. Or... how you went into action without looking at neither of the alphas.
"If something goes wrong," mumbled Frank "make sure they get out"
"Hm, if something goes wrong, Castle, no one of us will get out"
Frank looked at Erik and growled, both alpha scents fighting for dominance. It was common for the metal bender, this kind of altercations, after all, Logan and Raven used to be territorial and never backed out from showing their leadership. "I'll make sure to get them out, even if that's the last thing I do, understood?"
"You can make all the promises you want, but in there, what you'll be up against is not people, is pure power defending itself." Erik followed the path you took. His last sentence spoke from over his shoulder. "And if it fights back, the only one able to stop it is your alpha."
------
–The second level is clear. Follow the green arrows on the floor and they will take you to the emergency exit. Open the door when the lights shut off, Charles will give us at least thirty minutes without power.–
"–Copy that, Magneto–"
The fluorescent lights above your head were flicking every ten seconds, making your head dizzy, every corner you turned your fists were ready to strike. The guns were kept in their place at the sides of your chest, if you get to use them it wouldn't be here, in the large hallway with to many exits but no secure passages to the beta and omega's location. It would have made a lot of noise and the place would have been flooded with unwanted attention.
So you kept your stance, swiftly moving through and hoping Frank was already in position for the snipper hit in case things got complicated.
It was simple. Frank was going to cut the external signal for the facility, terminate the casualties and then come back to you once you spotted Matt and Yelena, you would wait for him before you got closer, evaluating the place and Erik was going to be back up at the same time of guarding your backs.
You shouldn't have made those plans though, nothing ever goes according to them and your time with Yelena should have been proof enough. However, someone can dream right?
That's why you weren't as surprised when a group of armed men were waiting at the next turn for the emergency exit which was the only one that emitted a resonance that tried to break to your own shield.
"Gentlemen..." the shooting started and you retracted to where you came from. "–Erik, I have at least fifteen men, keep steady and wait for my signal.–" –Copy that, chameleon– you rolled your eyes, there has been years since some one called you like that.
With an assurance you didn't really feel, you took three light grenades and throw them after three seconds of activated. The men covered themselves with the agility of training and followed one after the other for you. And of course, you were ready.
First it was with the wire for climbing, joining each of their bodies and bringing them forward just to shoot them and continue with the rest – Four down eleven to go–
Taking your guns the two that came after where soon to fall to the floor, running to the next three you enveloped one making him fall with your weight and using him as shield against the five shots his partner took at you, and giving you an opening for putting two shots directly to his head. –six down–
Rolling over you pushed yourself against the wall, taking a breath and with the adrenaline still running in your veins it did the rest for when four more came of the hallway.
Two were down on an instant, thanks to the blades throw at their ankles, cutting through flesh, two clean shots and you were running to the next.
They didn't use guns this time and like you, they used their force against you. Without the mutant part of you, touching you directly was something you couldn't avoid and so a physical fight ensue.
It ended as fast as it started. With two hidden blades between your knuckles and a fist ring on your other hand, you broke noses, jaws and ribs. The blade opened the neck of one, bathing you on blood but having an instant kill and the last one fell to the floor with the force of your throwing blade at his eye.
Stumbling with every step you took, the adrenaline made your head spin. The wall barely a support for your injured body. Yes, it was quite a good fight, but your face got at least two punches, opening your lip and cheek. You had at last a broken rib and your forearm was slit open, dropping blood without even moving it.
"Shit" ripping a piece of cloth from one of the fallen you started to wrap it at the sliced arm –Frank, the hallway is clear, I'm on my way to the main floor– Seconds later the struggling voice of the alpha flew to your ear –Copy that, be careful–
Without answering you took a long breath and pushed the door open. Instantly the coms cut in your ear and the air in the place almost broke your mental shield. But what made you focus instantly was the struggling noises of Matt and the rippling scream that cut your nerves.
"YELENA!"
You didn't had your senses but even without them you could feel, deep inside you how the tiny part of you connected to her, shut down in an instant.

No matter their personal beef between them and Erik, ten days into knowing him, both Gwen and Quentin put all that to the side to beg him to make phone chargers that work with outlets from 1962.
