Best friends with Regulus

Reasons why I think each of them would be bad drivers

Sirius: Pretending to play every instrument along with the music

Remus: Too busy trying to light his cigarette

Peter: Closes his eyes the minute he pushes the gas pedal (definitely not because I do the same thing...)

James: Either paying too much attention to his surroundings or paying no attention at all

Regulus: Just can't drive for shit

Barty: Drunk

Marlene: Takes her eyes off the road when talking to someone in the vehicle and with her

Lily: Trying to take care of everyone in the vehicle at the same time or is yelling at other drivers which causes her to not pay attention

Mary: Busy changing the radio station every-time there is a commercial

Evan: Busy taking care of drunk Barty or is high

Dorcas: RRS (road rage syndrome)

Pandora: You name it, she does it

Sybill: Ignores the rules of the road

(Emmeline is an excellent driver)

Alice: A nervous wreck

Some Emmeline Angst

idk i love girlboss Emmeline ofc, but also she’s very much a second/alternative choice in a lot of ships like Dorlene, Marylily, Pandora/Xeno etc. and I wanted her to have her own angst!!

Emmeline never trusted happiness.

There were very few moments in her life where everything would be going completely on track and so even in those moments she was always ready for the other ball to drop, her so-called karma for the small pockets of happiness she wished for. So instead she embraced the sorrow, making is her comfort place instead.

In these moments she dragged herself to a secluded area of Hogwarts in the middle of the night and let herself observe the stars. She counted everything she could see, memorising the patterns for when she would eventually go and look and them up in a textbook. Sometimes, if she was lucky, she would have some ink and a quill and she would doodle the stars all across her skin until she could barely see herself in it.

It was one of the few ways she could distract herself from the fact that everyone she loved, never loved her.

Pinning the cloth is wizard slang for getting married, I saw it in a post last year and decided to steal it.

It was the night before her wedding, and Pandora De Montmorency(Soon to be Lovegood) was sitting inside her dark kitchen, drinking chamomile tea. The waxing moon shone from outside the window above the sink.

She heard soft footsteps behind her, and looked over her shoulder.

Emmeline was padding toward her.

Pandora sipped her tea, whilst Emmeline clambered onto a chair.

“Pandora—I, it’s really the big day tomorrow, isn’t it?” Said Emmeline.

“Yes, Emmeline. I’d have thought you’d remembered, seeing as it’s been the only thing on your mind for months,” replied Pandora.

“Pandora, I’m just worried, for us, what’s going to happen after you pin the cloth to that lunatic?” Whispered Emmeline, placing a tentative kiss on Pandora’s forehead.

Pandora looked away.

“Nothing’s going to happen to us, it’s not that uncommon for purebloods to have lovers outside of their marriages, no one would care. And that ‘lunatic’ is still my friend, even if I’d rather not marry him,” said Pandora, getting up to leave.

Emmeline grabbed her hand.

“Pandora, please—don’t marry him, I couldn’t live with it—” Pandora jerked her hand away from Emmeline before she could finish her sentence, and ran down to her potions laboratory.

She rested her arm against the wall, and took in several breaths.

She would continue working on her potion until her mother and bridesmaids came, she had to finish as soon as possible. Fertility issues didn’t run in her family, so she would likely be pregnant soon, and she couldn’t pass her affiliation to her child. She’d hate herself if she did.

Slivers of moonlight danced on the floor, coming through from a small window on the east facing wall.

Pandora braced herself for the long day ahead, and then opened her potions cabinet, and got to work.

Can anyone help me out? At some point after Sirius had broken up with Emmeline and Emmeline began pursuing Roman Rotherhide, I remember atyd saying roman and Emmeline were in the same year OLDER than the marauders. But in chapter 147, seventh year after NEWTS, it says roman rotherhide is in 7th year with the marauders? I can't find the chapter for the first moment I mentioned, and I need to know im not hallucinating :)
