Heyyyy I bet you already answered this question but I can't find it ahhh. I really love your story and how you write and how you made your characters so so real and likeable sjjsjskwk. Seriously I normally always go for the rivals to lovers option but this time I am just so in love with all the characters?!
Welp to my question I wanted to ask you for your favourite ifs and wips^^ I run out of stories to read and I always tend to like the ifs that authors of my favourite works can recommend.
thank you so much for the compliment!! i'm honestly terrible with recommendations since i have a huge tbr myself and can never find time to go through it, but below are some wips that i enjoy (and adore) and are looking forward to <3

It’s easy until it isn’t
and when it isn’t I will take both our hearts
smooth out the creases at the corners
and I will bear all the weight of your pain.
Tumblr media
and all the things you never tell me?
I will stitch them on to rocks and throw it into the ocean
and when the waves come looming you will look at me in terror
you’re sorry that your pain causes natural disasters
i’m sorry that you didn’t happen to me sooner.
Tumblr media
i will fight every demon with you in this life
and cry twice every time you cry once
leave all our suffering in this one.
in the next one, we wash each other’s hair
and I bake for you in the kitchen
here’s an orange and here’s my heart
and your only discomfort would be the stickiness lingering on your fingers.
Tumblr media
so I will fight every demon
cry twice every time you cry once
bear every weight of your pain
until our hearts are smoothened
until there’s no rocks left in our neighborhood.
Tumblr media
if you rewrite your life, may I still play a part?

I want to share with you a  journey novel,  riding a few days throught the Massif Central.
Thanks to my friend Leo who proposed me to ride during our vacation, this journey could start !
Moreover my dissertation’s theme this year is about Slow travel so this project and it  were perfectly fit together and therefore I decided to pack my stuff and join him !
This journey started with a day train trip on the Ceveno Line. Time seems to stop, like if we were going back in the past.
The train travels through the Cevennes and Lozere massif, its speed is slow, I admire through the windows  mountains and villages, the landscapes are breathtaking.
In February in the Massif Central, it’s cold, very cold, I met Leo at his apartment Place de la Bourse in Clermont-Ferrand and we did the last settings. Our bikes are French mountain bikes from the 90’s and we did some improvements on them to feel more comfortable and to be able to ride into the snow of the  Massif Central.. Léo rides a 1987 Mercier steel bike made in Saint-Etienne in the Loire, I ride a 1995 Peugeot steel bike.
Last check up on our bikes, provisions and stuff packed, we leave Clermont-Ferrnad on Saturday February  26th to join Saint-Flour 170km lower, we use the map to orient ourselves.
The track goes through 4 mountains ranges which are the chaine des puys, the massif du Sancy, the plateau du Cézallier and at last the monts du Cantal. The track uses sections of the GTMC which are on your website, but we used variants via the GR 30 and the GR du Tour du Cézallier in particular to ride  on the last snow of the massifs.
Various peripeties, mechanical issues, meeting with locals, freezing weather were part of the journey but it was a good experience and, as Thierry Paquot says, it’s about adapting to the environment, travelling is a different conditioning

I have a goal.
I mean, I have several of them, don’t we all.
Going to bed at a reasonable hour,
Stopping to procrastinate like a loser,
Following yoga classes,
Organizing the time that passes.
These are some of the objectives,
That my 17 years old self puts in perspectives.
But there is this one,
This one is different, meant to be my sun.
Some people are good at setting goals for themselves and achieving them, others are radically not. I belong to the radically not group.
I have always tried to enforce some characteristics in my behavior that won’t want to stay put and stick to me. I mean, it’s not entirely their fault, maybe I do something wrong too.
Like not totally making an effort.
This is my problem: it’s not in me to make the effort to change. Not because I am lazy, but for some other reasons that, according to Tumblr posts, are typical for Ravenclaws, like me.
I propose you to find out what this not-laziness-yet-not-achievement is, and how to cure it.
✶ Two years ago, I was assigned a school job on Monday, to be handed over on the next Monday. The part of you that belongs to the “achieving group” would have probably started right away. Well, my brain seemed to find more interesting occupations for me: a new sewing project, baking some cookies for my neighbors, writing a letter to my grandparents…
If we analyze all these things, we can see that they are not totally useless, they do have their importance. What’s wrong with them is not how useful they were, but the order in which I realized them: I could have done them after finishing the homework.
(I bent over the blank sheet on the night before the due date.)
Am I making some sense? Not yet? Follow me a little more…
✷ Some months ago, I put some order in my room: folded the clothes properly, categorized my books, redecorated the walls. My objective was to keep everything tidy, by making small efforts everyday. Guess what? After ten days, the room was as messy as ever.
The problem this time? As I piled stacks and stacks of papers on my desk, and moved my clothes from my chair to my desk for the day, and vice versa for the night, I kept thinking: “I’ll fix this tomorrow.”
But we all know that tomorrow never comes.
Are we getting more aware of the idea now? We still need another example.
✸As I was 14, I started writing a book on Wattpad. A nice novel, about three teenagers, in Spanish. I started writing because (shame on me for thinking this so easy) I wanted to win the Wattys -- for those that don’t know what this competition is, the Wattys are organized annually by Wattpad to find out and give a prize to the best authors and books on the platform. I kept writing because my friends liked the idea, my family was supportive, and I was getting some recognition and fans.
In about two months, I did not win the Wattys, my friends had lost interest  the story, my family was involved in some other stuff, and my followers were getting rarer. The project flopped, and my goal to finish it sank down too, leaving the protagonists of my writings at three quarters of their peripeties.
✹ It’s also important to consider that I planned to use this book as a starter for a series, and had already figured out its name and its cover.
After these three examples, I think that we are ready to unfold the conclusion. If my lame explanation haven’t led to a coherent reasoning, here are the few ‘why’s that pulled me away from mastering my goals:
✶ a lack of sense of priority
✷ a tendency to procrastinate
✸ the wrong motivations
✹ an excess of expectations.
Now, let’s jump to the cure, because it’s the most interesting in all this, isn’t it?
As I speak from personal experience, I am once again going to use personal examples.
Goal: I decided two months ago that I wanted to donate my hair to an association that works for kids with cancer.
Problem: I am the type of person that wants to have a haircut every time that her hair gets past her shoulders.
Update: It now reaches below my chest, and I still haven’t cut it, nor do I think about cutting it anymore until the right time (it happened a lot in the first weeks, the temptation was made more difficult by my family’s encouragements to do so).
Why? Let’s use the checklist:
✶ a lack of sense of priorities: Learn to ask yourself what is the real priority. Be 101% honest, even if you know that you won’t like the answer.
Is the happiness of children more important than my impulsive want to have a new haircut every couple of months? In my opinion, and as keeping my hair long doesn’t really disturb me, a thousand times yes.
✷ a tendency to procrastinate: The proverb sums it up pretty well: “Don’t put off what you can do the same day.”
You may think, what does this have to do with cutting your hair or not? My brain thought about it too, clever as it it, and resolute to skip one more goal: I could have said: “I’ll do this on next time. I get my haircut now, and then let my hair grow.”
Dear old brain lost the battle this time.
✸ the wrong motivations: Don’t do things for a frivolous reason. Use some powerful boost.
Do I let my hair grow because society makes me think a girl with long hair is prettier? (Honestly, I wouldn’t have lasted two days if I had chose this reason) No, I do it because I can help some kids, and this really motivates me.
✹ an excess of expectations: Don’t consider that it is going to be easy, and that you’ll achieve it in no time and without effort.
It’s been two months, and my hair still hasn’t reached the required length. It will at least need one more month to be long enough. I did not tell myself it was going to be fast, I told myself that, no matter if I turned 25 before, I would cut my hair only when it’d be long enough to be used to put a smile on a little boy or girl’s face.
At the end of the checklist, I can confirm that I applied all four rules in the way to achieve my goal. I know that, when I’ll see the final braid fall on the floor, and feel my short hair brushing my neck, I will feel happy and fulfilled, because I would have been able to get to the end of it.
I am using the same method in order to lose weight, practice more sports, and eat healthier, as well as being more useful at home, and until now, the progresses I make cause me to smile when I think of them.
Some more tips:
✰ Keep telling yourself that you are strong, focused, capable, and tenacious.
✰ Don’t sought perfection IT DOESN’T EXIST! Warning: do not confuse ‘perfection’ with ‘doing your best’. The latter is a must.
✰ Encourage yourself.
✰ Repeat, in your head, images of yourself when you will have achieved your goal: our mind is extremely powerful! Visualizing a situation in continuity helps it to happen.
Keep using the checklist, and you will never fail to achieve one more goal.
Trust me.
You can do it.

Artist Statement
I’ve also decided that it would be a good idea to write up an artist statement as it shows your potential and your approach in any subject. It is a good way to express your knowledge in photography and explain more broadly what are you able to show with your work and how you are communicating with your photography. Here is my written version of artist statement.
STATEMENT
The central idea of my concentration is Portrait and Landscape photography. I have chosen photography as a subject in order to master my professional skills and gain a broader knowledge in photography. Images, photography and their meaning in overall is something that I have been passionate about and I want to pursue a career within the industry. Images have great potential to document the factual or express the imaginary. I think that the language of photography is really powerful, as every person understands it differently. I like both historical and contemporary work, for example I love the work of Jerry Uelsmann the complexity of the combination prints are really impressive. Although maybe a more obvious choice, I love the work of David Bailey in particular his clean black and white portraits. A more contemporary photographer might be Madame Peripetie who offers a surreal slant to her styling and fashion photographs. I also look at commercial photography, Michael David Adams was my inspiration for developing technical knowledge, to build on the skills and convey my ideas and feelings through images. Sometimes I feel that photography allows me to communicate things that I would not be able, or willing, to put into words.
I am inspired to compose by the contrast of dark and light, to arose the mood of my inner feelings. The black&white photography is my passion, it awakens me and I strongly agree with a quote of Ted Grant that “When you photograph people in colour, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls” . My choice of subject comes from my interest in ideas about beauty, and emotional connections. My work explores the relationship between the human and the nature. I believe in growing things, and in things which have grown and died magnificently. I believe in people and in the simple aspects of human life, and in the relation of man to nature. I seek the unknown and I look for the light within the shadows, the stories that are not at first obvious and the uncommon in the common. I photograph people in their environments because I am curious of what lays behind their eyes, where they have been and where they hope to go.
My work is primarily concerned with communication and I deploy a broad range of approaches in its execution.I have also discovered the importance of the creative process and gathering primary and secondary research. Through my self-initiated project I understand how this approach to research can push the boundaries of my work taking it to a more successful, informed and coherent outcome.
