SCARY

NIGHTS

Scared of the the little worries,

That are gonna attack me,

While am half-asleep.

Thinking about how tomorrow’s life is gonna be.

Just after laying my ribs down on the floor.

To reduce gravitational force.

Huh! It’s only because—

I can’t get a bed at a fee.

While setting tomorrow’s goals that I’ll have to achieve,

While am counting rusty ridges of my single detached house.

That I almost acquired it at free.

While having a bungalow in my head that has been built on an hectare.

Sleep can’t get into my eyes,

Cheeks getting white stripes due to tears,

Can’t blame the fears,

Tha’ makes me strong.

Even with a look at my belly,

Six are the packs of hunger that picture me strong.

Having emptied my belly yesterday.

With little pain on my shoulders since the other day.

Having worked for unpaid work.

With tax bills haunting me like its their work.

Am only hopping to see tomorrow.

Being ready to face it no matter;if it will be a horror.

Love gone out of my heart,

Mind moving out of its hub.

Revolving anti-clockwise,

Am hoping it won’t affect my thinking ways.

Or make me less wise.

Hating myself due to my living ways,

Without even checking on my struggle.

Moving myself from side to side of the bed like....wiggle wiggle wiggle.

Making it uncomfortable for the one torn blanket to cover me up.

Tomorrow am gonna wake up before breakfast,

Leaving my rusty scrappy house so fast.

Leaving my heart tamed first.

Tomorrow Whom I wait eagerly for Tomorrow Who never visits my door

I intently wait And wait From dawn to dusk Beneath the blue sky Until it turns to black Like coal With millions of tiny silver metal drops To make it glow

I wait for tomorrow To come and visit my home Like snowflakes Which cover in white All the green landscapes Of mountain tops

Tomorrow Still doesn’t show up So i lay here Rendering all my hopes To meet tomorrow Someday one day Or any day A day lost in shadows
