~20/7/2022~ Today was probably the most miserable day since this heatwave - body actually felt worse than yesterday - I think because it takes a few days to recover anyway, but also because I was working and so pressure to be doing more. Had supervision first thing where line manager was joining to discuss her feedback from the interview - it was actually pretty constructive in some ways - about building skills to help make my communication style more accessible to non-autistic professionals who aren't very ND aware/friendly. My morning appointment was supposed to be a home visit but switched to phone call, which was in some ways better, though I was slightly dreading the prospect of 2 phone appointments in one day. My speed with admin was slow because brain fog was still at large. I had this project meeting that I hate - I actually have no idea why I'm even there, which bothers me greatly! My afternoon appointment cancelled, though that didn't really reduce the amount of work for it, but less phone calls so... I went out after dinner and before poundland closed to buy some essentials, but was massively struggling in the heat and humidity far more than I thought. Flat doesn't seem to have cooled down. I had creative things I wanted to do in the evening but no energy to do them. Really hope that was the last of the extreme heat for this year.
