on my knees BEGGING for more price and civilian!reader. i just read it and i can’t stop thinking about all the cute itty bitty interactions- their date, their convos, maybe him meeting her surprisingly scary dog (currently in love thinking about COD men and K9s yknow?).
Like if there’s not a single supporter for this, i’m dead in a ditch somewhere
what it's like dating john price as a civilian.
john price x gn!reader
part 1
more fluff, more domesticity, me being down bad
a/n: KSAHDASDKJ im so glad u love them as much as i do!! hope this does them justice for u <3
-
the date went really well, thankfully. he showed up at your place ready to pick you up with the bouquet of flowers he knew you deserved. call him old-fashioned, but he was adamant on making sure you didn't have to lift a finger for anything.
hell, he even asked you why you were standing out there in the cold by yourself, saying, "i could have come to your door so you didn't have to freeze all the way out here, sweetheart!"
he held out his hand for you to take as he guided you down the stairs, opened your side of the door for the car, and always walked with you on the side closest to the street.
the movie was a cute action comedy. it was even funnier with john because he'd sometimes pipe up at the action sequences talking about how unrealistic some scenes were.
when you told john that the main character's actor, a built, older-looking man, was used to be your celebrity crush in high school, he couldn't help but let a chuckle rumble in his throat and ask, "got a type then, love?"
"yeah, probably do," you admitted shamelessly.
the dinner was just as nice as the movie: he took you out to a nice restaurant and hung onto every word you spoke. likewise, you couldn't take your eyes off him whenever he told you stories about him and his boys.
he wouldn't tell you stories about him doing his job, mostly because he didn't want to disturb you with what he's had to do. he did, however, happily tell you stories about the ridiculous things he's seen his task force get up to.
"they sound like a handful," you said warmly, "you sure they're not your kids?"
"no, but they certainly sound like it," he leaned just a little bit closer to hear you better over the chatter of the restaurant.
"i get that. i've got a handful at home, too." you paused to take a sip of your drink. "a little puppy."
"really? what's its name?"
when he takes you back home, he wordlessly walks you back to your door.
"would you like to meet beau, john?" you ask, hand hovering over the door you unlocked.
he opens his mouth to speak but gets interrupted by the sound of scratching and a dog panting on the other side of the door.
"well, only if he's okay with meeting me."
when you open the door, john is surprised to see a full-grown rottweiler launching at him at full speed. for a second, he saw his life flashing before his eyes before he realized the wagging of beau's tail.
"oh my god, i'm so sorry!" you call out immediately, "he's usually more polite around strangers. beau- beau get down!"
john only laughs at your panic and took your dog's friendliness as a sign to pet him. "'s alright, love. i trust you enough to know you wouldn't put me in harm's way."
he takes in beau's stature. from the looks of his larger-than-average size, he might be a guard dog for you. or maybe you just wanted company and decided to hone in on his scariness and bulk by adding that spiked collar.
"so, a puppy, huh?" he points outed humorously, locking eyes with you after realizing that your canine was, in fact, fully grown.
"hey, he's still a puppy to me!" you interject, kneeling down beside john's crouched figure to also show the rottweiler some affection.
"i see," he nods thoughtfully, turning his attention back to beau. "you're just as gorgeous as your owner, huh?"
your face is on fire again. "you flatter me, john."
"how does the saying go? it's not flattery if it's true?" he stands up much to the disappointment of beau and to take a step closer to you.
"you're too kind."
"jus' trying to treat you like how you deserve."
it's like he's trying to light you aflame on purpose. your embarrassment grows so much you have to cover the smile on your face with your hand. once your face has cooled down, you take a deep breath and let your hand fall down back to your side.
"thank you for tonight," you say quietly. "i had a really good time."
"glad to hear," he replies. "'m also happy to see beau likes me, too."
"well, we both have that in common, i guess."
"oh, who's doing the flattery, now?" john says playfully, his hands on his hips as you laugh softly at him.
"still you!" you insist.
"hm. maybe next time we can figure it out, yeah?" he proposes, a hopeful glint in his eye.
"next time? you already ready for a second date, price?"
oh, he was ready for more, but he didn't think you were ready to hear that.
"unless you're not," he tells you slowly, afraid of pressuring you into saying yes already.
sensing his worry, you reassure him with, "how could i not be?"
he relaxes at your admission and leans forward to give you a kiss on the cheek. "i've got your number. next week sound fine to you?"
"of course. whatever you like, soldier," you nodded, the lingering feeling of his lips on your cheek leaving a tingling sensation. if you were just a bit more confident, you would have kissed him then and there.
"i'll see you then, love."
he bends down to give beau a well-deserved goodbye pet before turning to leave, looking you in the eyes one last time before leaving for home.

Sakai Taisei (Gira Husty)
-The Director's valuable advice on how to play Gira in a natural way-
I think that we were able to complete filming without any issues due to the support of many people over the past year.
As an actor, I was inspired alot by the many career actors in the King-Ohger cast. In particular, Morioka Yutaka-san, who played Douga, and Masato Yano-san, who played Racules, both of whom I had many opportunities to work with, were very important. However, both of them didn't give me any specific advice on the set. They always had the attitude of, "You're free to do whatever you want to do," and I was grateful for that more than anything.
Filming was done in front of a green screen in the studio, which was a special environment, but since I personally didn't have much experience in filming dramas, I had no objections to it at all. Sometimes we filmed on location, so experiencing the "live scenery" and "atmosphere of the site" was nice, but in our situation, we felt uncomfortable unless we were in front of the green screen (laughs). It had become such a normal thing for us.
As for the performance, at first I couldn't understand the Director's intentions and was just figuring it out in my head, but then Director Kamihoriuchi Kazuya told me, "Feel it with your heart," and that's when it became easier to act. After that, I feel like I was able to take on the role of Gira more naturally throughout those days of filming.
Also, I think we showed "Gira two years later" in the new chapter partly through the visuals and direction, such as his costume and hairstyle, but I also wanted to play the role showing a more relaxed side in my own way.
-The wonderful thing about Gira is that he's always there for others-
What I was most mindful of throughout the year was definitely the relationship with Racules. I wasn't told of any future developments, so I was surprised when I read the scripts for episodes 41 and 42. Even though he's his older brother I played the role with a strong sense of, "Overthrow Racules!" I had heard during filming for episode 20 that he was going to reappear later, but I had no idea he was destined to carry such a cruel burden……That's why I was deeply moved by our joint fight scene in episode 42.
After that, in episode 43, I'll never forget the scene where we hold each other's hands. Compared to Yano-san, I think I'm still inexperienced in some aspects of acting, but I did my best in my own way, so I'd be happy if you could grasp the feelings the two of us have.
From episode 48 to the final episode, many of the cast members who've helped us in the past reappeared, and the motivation on set was even higher than usual. The main Director of the last three episodes was Kamihoriuchi-san, and the six of us who play the roles of the kings have absolute trust in the Director, but he's also someone who's uncompromising in his approach to the play, so I worked hard to "hang in there until the very end."
The final day of filming was the scene in the final episode where the six of us are untransformed. I personally didn't intend to be overly emotional just because it was the final take. However, when the Director said "OK!," the cast and crew involved in the production, including Yano-san, who wasn't supposed to be filming that day, gathered around. I thought, "So many people were watching over us" and became overwhelmed with emotion……I think I probably cried more than anyone else (laughs).
Looking back on all the episodes, I think that Gira was always portrayed as a character who stood by someone's side. He always tries to understand people's feelings, regardless of whether they're a king, retainer, or a citizen, and I thought it was wonderful to see that kind of attitude as I played Gira
As time goes on, please don't forget about Gira!

Watanabe Aoto (Yanma Gast)
-Yanma's coolness is the charm that Director Kamioriuchi possesses-
Currently, when I look back at Yanma from a year ago, I feel alittle embarrassed because he seems so childish (laughs). I've jokingly said to the staff on set things like, "I want to reshoot that scene," but on the other hand, I felt that it was a performance that only I, who had just encountered Yanma, could give. That's just how I feel right now.
As for my role, it was largely created together with Director Kamihoriuchi Kazuya. In the beginning, I read stories about real kings and books by various leaders, and I tried to express them through "moving performances." In response, the Director told me to, "Take a more confident stance," and from that point on, I had the image of, "Even if he doesn't say much, his coolness will be shown through his actions." To be more specific, Yanma has something in common with Director Kamihoriuchi himself. I think that the Director's charm as a person is reflected through Yanma.
What I remember well from early filming was the N'kosopa scene in episode 2. We spent the whole day filming in the cold during the middle of winter with the participation of members of the TTFC (Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club), and it truly felt like a king and his people overcoming their difficulties as one. Episode 2 in particular was the one where I read the script repeatedly after my audition, so I'll never forget the excitement I felt when I saw the finished footage.
Every episode is filled with memories, but the developments that take place two years later starting from episode 27 stirred me up. At first, I thought he was going to be alittle more mature and relaxed, but now that his hair was a blonde pompadour, I decided to play a more active role. In episode 35, when they all go to take back the invaded N'kosopa, I felt Yanma's growth compared to episode 2. The actual successful recapture took place in episode 39. During that time, for the main episodes of Hymeno, Kaguragi, and Rita, Yanma had many funny moments, and as I played him I thought that even though things were tough, he doesn't stay down, which is another cool thing about him.
-The fans are part of the production!-
When he was being manipulated by Hilbil in episode 44, the interaction with Gira had many homages to the past. Usually, there are many opportunities for Yanma to say something preachy, but in this episode it's the opposite, and Yanma catching Gira's fist is also a reverse pattern from episode 17.
Also, defeating Hilbil using the 10 combination King-Ohger for the first time in a long time was a hot development, and in the end, we both said the exact same lines as in episode 2, being, "Lowlifes like you…(-Gira), Should know your place…(-Yanma), On your knees! (-both)."
From episode 48 to the final episode, new assets have been created, and I think that the viewers will enjoy the spectacular visuals until the very end.
In the scene where the "King's Proof" is returned, only my mouth is shown, and the Director told me, "The love you've received is too great, so it's okay if you cry." I intended to act dignified, but those words were like magic, and I was immediately overcome with emotion.
Other hot developments include the reappearance of major characters, and the relationship between the kings and the people they're meant to protect is also noteworthy.
Even after all the battles were over, Yanma still had work to do, and I was able to play the role of Yanma, who's always looking forward until the end.
After working on it for a year, first of all, I'm relieved that filming was completed successfully, and I'd like to take this opportunity to express my feelings of "thank you" to the many people who supported us.
Personally, I believe that King-Ohger was created by everyone, and the fans are also a part of the production. I'd be happy if you could think of us six kings from time to time.

Murakami Erica (Hymeno Ran)
-The key to playing Hymeno is "how to deal with life"-
Hymeno has a selfish side, but if she shows it too forcefully, her position as a king will be in danger. Of course, it's not just being selfish, and the reason was depicted in episode 3, but reading the script and actually doing the performance gave off a different impression, so I explored this through the opinions of the people on set and through interactions with the cast. Also, after learning about the setting in which her parents were murdered in episode 7, I thought that Hymeno's key point was "how to deal with life."
I was acting without knowing what was going to happen next, but it was interesting to see things in a different point of view once all the facts were known, such as the foreshadowing of the anesthetic in episode 8 being revealed in episode 42. It was like reading a serialized manga, and there was a competition among the cast to see who would get the new script first (laughs), and the person who got it first would upload a photo of the script to our group chat.
Personally, my favorite episode was episode 28. I had alot of conversations with Kaku So-san about playing Kaguragi, and I was able to see a side of Kaguragi that I had never seen before, and I think we were able to deepen our understanding not only of our characters, but also of the cast. Other than that, I also enjoyed episode 36. The matchmaking competition was hard to endure because everyone was trying their best to make me laugh, like Yanma's weird face when he was being controlled by Jeramie (laughs). Also, Hymeno, who was being impersonated by Kamejim, casually crossed her legs even though she doesn't usually do that. The uglier the fake becomes, the brighter the real one shines, so I was conscious of the gap between the two while concealing her true identity.
When I got involved with Rita in episode 5, Director Kamihoriuchi Kazuya told me, "I want you to perform the role of Hymeno as if she's aware Rita will be hard to deal with." At first I thought, "Hymeno and Rita are incompatible, huh," but as they got closer and closer through Moffun and the "Wrath of God," I feel that they've become a very special person to Hymeno. That's why when Rita came to Ishabana in episode 30, Rita may have just been fulfilling their duties, but I thought it was cute that they misunderstood that Hymeno had gone out of her way to meet them. To be honest, I was pretty excited to film the tea scene (laughs).
-I was lifted up by Hymeno's inner strength-
The existence of Grodie, the enemy of her parents, was revealed in episode 30 and defeated in episode 47, but before that, I personally thought episode 46 was important. Jeramie decides to use his"King's Proof" to give life to the immortal Grodie, and Hymeno accepts his decision. There's a conversation between the two of them where they said, "It's okay to cry" and, "I'll ruin my makeup." The script was based on the answer I gave to screenwriter Takano Minato-san when he asked me, "What do you want to do?" I suggested that if a little girl was crying and Hymeno came to her, she might say something like, "What a waste of a pretty face" or "Your mascara will be ruined" to keep her positive. When I opened the script, I was surprised to find that she wouldn't be crying, but I was happy because I wanted to show Hymeno's strong will!
In the end, it was an "all star" effort, and I was thrilled that she was reunited with her parents in episode 49. Although the scene took place while both of them were concentrating on providing treatment, they were able to communicate without having to talk, and I felt a sense of closure within Hymeno. In the final episode, it was cool to see everyone stand up against Dagded, there were some unexpected surprises, and we were able to reach a truly wonderful ending.
All 50 episodes are filled with the passion of the cast and staff, and I think that no matter which episode you watch, you won't be disappointed. During all this, I myself was lifted up by Hymeno's inner strength, and I'm so glad that I was able to work with all the cast members until the end. I hope to see you again in the future, such as the FLT, so please continue to support us!

Hirakawa Yuzuki (Rita Kaniska)
-Playing the role of Rita by moving their "mind" with their whole body-
The role of Rita is an "immovable" character, so the performance doesn't focus on movement, and their face is visible only through their left eye and you can't see their facial expressions, so it was difficult in the early days of filming. The solo performances were particularly difficult. In episode 12, there's the trial scene where Jeramie is listening to them, but since only my eye was visible, I was concerned that my blinking or the direction of my gaze might convey nuance that I didn't intend. At that time, Director Kamihoriuchi Kazuya gave me advice of, "If you perform by moving your mind with your whole body, it becomes an expression, so you don't have to be caught up in performing with only your left eye." This gave me confidence and made me think, "Maybe there's more I can do."
When talking about Rita, their relationship with Hymeno is also important. In addition to being king, Rita has the role of Chief International Justice, so there was a part of them that drew a line between themself and others, but after the interaction with Hymeno was depicted towards the end of episode 16, Rita was able to separate their work and private life, and the areas where they could express themself gradually became clearer. I thought that when they had tea together in episode 30, it was another scene that brought them closer together.
Also, Karras and Shiron are like parents to Rita. In episode 16, we learned some of Rita's past, which I thought could be reflected in future performances. After that, everything came together in episode 30. When I read the script and learned of Shiron's death, I was personally shaken, and during filming, I was able to fully feel Rita's feelings while acting. Also, while they were determined to seal Grodie in this episode, Hymeno stopped them from doing so, and it reminded them once again of how valued they are. Episode 30 is an unforgettable episode, not only because of their relationship with Hymeno, but also in the sense that Rita became stronger after preparing to die.
-It was a year of pursuing the role of Rita that I envisioned-
I was very happy to receive lots of feedback on SNS for the Idol episode.
The stage scene was only about two lines long in the script, but the set they created was so beautiful, so I went into filming thinking, "I hope the viewers will enjoy it."
It was the most difficult time for me, learning dances and recording at the same time as filming, but I have the impression that I did my best as "Hirakawa Yuzuki" in this episode, even though I was playing Rita.
Towards the end of episode 45, it was very exciting to see Kaguragi and Rita, who had never had a chance to really interact before, working together. Since we often filmed separately, when we met, Kaku So-san and I would report to each other with, "How did that scene go?"
I was also impressed by the scene in episode 48 where they launch the evacuation plan "Zero." It was really hard even for me to admit that they couldn't defeat Dagded, but I think that's just how much I got into the role.
At the end of the story that spanned a year, six people with very strong personalities come together, and if just one of them were missing, the story could not be completed, so I think it concluded in a way that was truly typical of "Ohsama Sentai."
Looking back, I had wanted to play the role of Rita since the audition stage, and being able to pursue my own vision of Rita for a year was an invaluable and truly precious experience.
Now that filming's over, I feel sad, but I hope that people will look back on the show after it's finished airing, and I hope that it grows into a show that'll continue to be loved forever.

Kaku So (Kaguragi Dybowski)
-Until I did the difficult role of deceiving and tricking people-
In the beginning I was told that the role of Kaguragi was a character that deceives and tricks people, but at the same time, the Producer said, "Please don't make him someone that people dislike," and I thought, "No, that's going to be difficult" (laughs). In a way, Kaguragi has conflicting aspects, but in episode 4, the resolution within me improved, and I began to enjoy playing the role more.
Also, the "Hweh?" response when he's acting silly in episode 8 wasn't specifically written in the script, and when I first tried to just do the facial expression, Director Yamaguchi Kyohei said, "I want it to have alittle more impact," so I also added the voice. It's thanks to the Director that I was able to emphasize his personality.
Then there's the relationship with his younger sister Suzume. Kamura Mami-san, who plays Suzume, had such a convincing performance from the first day that it made me think, "That's Kaguragi's sister," and through her I was able to bring out the comedic side of my performance alot more.
All the episodes are memorable, but if I had to pick one main episode for Kaguragi, it would be episode 37. While I've always played the role that rides the line between good and evil, that episode gave more weight to the fact that he carries a tragic past, and I myself became more fond of Kaguragi. The honest and pure Kaguragi I played in the flashback scenes are literally just me (laughs), so it was easy to do. His voice is usually deep and threatening, but at that time I tried to show his "difference" by using a tone that was closer to my actual self.
It was also interesting to perform the scene where he and Racules, played by Masato Yano-chan, were trying to expose each other's secrets. However, I wasn't sure about their relationship, and one time when I asked Yano-chan, "Do you know when they'll become friends?," he left me hanging with, "No, I don't know" (laughs). I first found out about their backgrounds when I read the script for episode 42. In retrospect, he was mostly absent in episode 36, was he perhaps discussing things with Racules behind the scenes? The line at the end of episode 37, "Let's take the dirtiest road ahead from now on," was also foreshadowing.
As for Kaguragi, he probably believed in Suzume and followed Racules, and I believe that he carried out his own will even though he was prepared to be deceived.
-Even now, Kaguragi's in my heart!-
Towards the end of episode 45, it became a main episode between him and Rita, someone he had little chance to interact with up until then. It was a new experience for me to work with Yuzuyan, and we enjoyed each other's presence. The scenes where they both communicate their feelings were performed separately because I spoke to their partner Morphonia, but even though they weren't in the same space, it was really cool to depict that they shared the same mindset. Kaguragi may be deceiving on the surface, but deep down, he just wants to make people smile, and I was able to portray that side of him.
The final episode completes the story, but there's also some room that allows you to use your imagination, which is what I like about it. If it ended properly, that'd be sad, wouldn't it? During filming, I worked hard until the end, but I'm personally the type of person who likes to joke around and have fun while doing it. I'm glad that we were able to spend time in a cheerful atmosphere until the very final moment.
Even after all filming finishes, I still have many more opportunities to play Kaguragi, including performances at Theater G Rosso and the FLT, and I still feel as if Kaguragi is in my heart.
Having a stance like Kaguragi's may not be easily rewarded, but I think it's filled with what's important for people to live their lives.
Whenever you feel like giving up or are having a hard time, I'd be happy if you could remember Kaguragi and think, "Let's do our best!"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ikeda Masashi (Jeramie Brasieri)
-Jeramie, who's been alive for 2,000 years, shows his "composure"-
In my situation as Jeramie, I started out as the narrator, so my job began with voice recording. The other five had already started filming, and looking back, it feels nostalgic, as when I first greeted them, I was overwhelmed by their flashy costumes and everyone's aura. I made my first appearance as Jeramie at the end of episode 11, where I was suddenly performing with a mask on.
My real appearance began in the next one, episode 12, and since his character is set to have lived for 2,000 years, I thought I should have a certain amount of freedom in my performance. At the time, I still wasn't used to being on set, but it's not good to get nervous, so I just gave it my best shot. I was really happy that everyone was willing to talk to me during this time. Thanks to them, I was able to open up right away.
In the beginning, I think Jeramie was a character who he himself was hard to read between the lines (laughs), but as the story progressed, his growth was also depicted, which I personally found very rewarding to perform. In particular, I think that episode 26 was a turning point for Jeramie. Just before Desnarak VIII dies, the scene where they exchange the lines, "You'll become king, and make them see, that the Bugnarak are here" and, "You'll be there too……" is one of my favorites in the entire show. Desnarak VIII is family, as they share the same name "Narak," and the, "You'll be there too" was an expression of his feelings that he didn't want him to die, as Desnarak VIII's existence was a major factor in Jeramie's resolution to become king.
-The final episode had a perfect conclusion and everyone was satisfied-
After entering the new chapter, in episode 29, there was a scene in which I play a major role as the mastermind behind everything. It was difficult to find the right balance, but I acted with so much enthusiasm that I was willing to yell at everyone. As Jeramie, I wish for peace more than anyone else, as I want to protect everyone at the expense of myself, so I faced the situation as best as I could, which was both noble and heartbreaking.
Then, in episode 31, everyone fought to clear my (Jeramie's) name. I feel that Jeramie, who has been lonely for such a long time, had finally made true and kind friends. Also, the line "I love you" that he says to his mother (Nephila) in this episode really moved me. In episode 12, for those words he said, "There's no phrase in this world that's more cliche," but I didn't realize he would capture that foreshadowing so effectively.
There's a scene where he fights together with his mother towards the end of episode 49, and I'd like the parents who watch the show to pay attention to the relationship between us as parent and child.
Also, in episode 47, it was really intense when Grodie was given the "King's Proof." For Jeramie, the "King's Proof" is "eternal life," so he'll no longer be immortal if he uses it……The determination to reach that point was no ordinary feat, and it must've been very worrying. That's why the scene where Jeramie talks with Hymeno in front of the setting sun after making up his mind left such an impression on me. Marie was able to convey her thoughts clearly, so I was able to naturally get into the role, and I think the two of us were able to create a performance that worked well together.
The final episode perfectly portrayed Jeramie's role as the storyteller, which had continued from the first episode, and the story comes to a perfect conclusion based on what had happened so far. I was talking to everyone on set, and deep down, we feel we were able to end the show properly.
More than anything, I'm really satisfied that I was able to spend a year with this group. Throughout the year, I'm sure each of us had our own hard and painful times, but seeing everyone's faces on set made me feel at ease. I'm very grateful to the five of you who played the roles of king.

Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger: The Kings Group Discussion Over the past year of filming, the bonds of the cast have gradually deepened. Looking back on filming, we asked them about their "true opinions" that they can only talk about now.
-Fun memories from the past year-
Kaku: The first topic is "fun memories." Does that mean the casual conversations we all had while filming? (laughs). We all talked in the moment and everyone would laugh and go "wahaha" alot.
Hirakawa: On the other hand, filming alone made me feel really lonely. It was natural for me to be with everyone else.
Murakami: It was part of our daily routine to go out and eat with everyone after we finished filming. It was fun~.
Watanabe: Also, the day before the broadcast was part of the fun!
Sakai: It's really exciting to see your own performance on screen. And then there were the reactions after the broadcast.
Hirakawa: We were popular every week on SNS.
Kaku: Each time, the character with the most active role would be trending.
Ikeda: For me, the recording sessions were also fun.
Murakami: I'd see footage for scenes I wasn't in for the first time during the recording, so that was alot of fun too.
-The many true selves that everyone's seen-
Murakami: After spending time with everyone, the first thing that surprised me was that Taisei actually likes to play pranks.
Sakai: Eh? I've never played one once.
Kaku: That's a lie!
Murakami: You did stuff like add wasabi to our kaisendon (laughs).
Hirakawa: It was really spicy! (laughs).
Murakami: Or before our cue, you'd shout, "Whaa!" from behind us.
Sakai: I never did that~
Ikeda: Yes you did~
Hirakawa: He did that to me too (laughs).
Murakami: It was also abit surprising that Aoto, who I thought was cool at first, would also mess around.
Watanabe: Eh? Really?
Hirakawa: It's also surprising that he pretends not to know. Actually, he's "in charge of being cute" (laughs).
Murakami: Yeah, "the person in charge of being cute."
Watanabe: When I first learned about the cast of the kings, I thought I was going to be the "cute one" (laughs).
Hirakawa: That's what we're saying!
Sakai: For Marie, even when we were filming late at night and everyone was tired, she had a fun aura surrounding her.
Kaku: Her jokes were amazing. We listened to these awkward jokes as we continued to perform at other sites.
Murakami: My nickname became "Mood Breaker."
Watanabe: Eh? This is my first time hearing that!
Murakami: Are you a liar?
Watanabe: That's a really straightforward insult! (laughs).
Murakami: Ahahahaha.
Sakai: The usual pattern is that Marie suddenly says something strange and everyone laughs.
Murakami: At first, I thought, "I have to do this properly," but halfway through I gave up (laughs).
Hirakawa: No, you gave up early on.
Murakami: Ehehe (laughs).
Kaku: For Masashi, he tried his best in the beginning to join in, but soon the two of us started speaking nonsense in our dressing room.
Ikeda: Conversations where you turn off your brain.
Kaku: That's it (laughs).
Watanabe: Definitely, when I passed by Masashi's dressing room, I often heard his voice from inside.
Ikeda: I have a loud voice!
Watanabe: Not a single sound came from the dressing room me and Taisei shared (laughs).
Sakai: You two seemed to be having fun.
Murakami: Yuzuyan is the youngest of the members, but she's like an "older sister" in some ways.
Ikeda: Yeah, she has the image of a caring person.
Kaku: Still, you're the youngest in your family, right?
Hirakawa: Yes!
Watanabe: It's fine now, but when we first met, she wouldn't even look me in the eyes (laughs).
Hirakawa: I'm a shy person, but I usually talk alot to hide my shyness. However, I was really nervous at the beginning of King-Oher (bitter smile).
Watanabe: And now, you're a lively person!
Sakai: I'm also from Kyushu, so I felt a sense of familiarity from the beginning. That's why I don't think you had any major changes from beginning to end, right?
Hirakawa: But, at some point, I started speaking with a dialect.
Sakai: Ah, that's right.
Murakami: Yuzuyan gave her all from the beginning.
Hirakawa: That's because Kaku-san, the oldest of our group, affectionately embraced all of us.
Kaku: Yeah! Say more of that!
Ikeda: Because of that, there was an atmosphere on the set where we could talk about anything.
Sakai: He really brought the five of us together.
Kaku: That makes me happy! Thank you (laughs).
Murakami: How cute~
Kaku: No, this is seriously embarrassing.
Hirakawa: (to Watanabe) Aren't you in charge of being cute?
Watanabe: (laughs).
Kaku: Conversely, I was saved by everyone's good character. That's why I wanted to support everyone. I've always felt that way.
-Feelings I want to share with everyone now-
Kaku: If we were to take this opportunity to say a few words to everyone, I'd first start with Masashi. Thanks for always messing around with me!
Watanabe: I hope Masashi will continue to do well with his friendliness.
Sakai: I want to work together again with you even after this job ends!
Hirakawa: I really appreciate the way you always looked out for everyone during filming.
Murakami: When we all go out together, he takes the initiative to invite us. Thank you for creating so many memories.
Ikeda: Eh! I'm so happy! Marie has always been cheerful, and I hope she continues to do her best with her cheerful and beloved character!
Murakami: Yeah! I'll do my best!
Watanabe: I hope you keep that smile on your face.
Sakai: She has the kind of character that I wish I had as a childhood friend or something. You always had a smile on your face and brightened up the set.
Kaku: For her performance, in the Hymeno episode (episode 36), Hymeno, who was being impersonated by Kamejim, was really interesting. I'd like to see a performance like that in a different production.
Hirakawa: Marie has always supported me with her "harmonizing" spirit. On the other hand, from now on, I hope to be able to help her as much as possible.
Murakami: Yuzuyan is the one who has always been there for me. I think that's her strength, and I hope she continues to be there for many people.
Hirakawa: Of course! Thank you.
Kaku: Despite being the youngest, she was the hardest worker in our group. During the idol episode (episode 38), even though she was having a hard time during filming, she simply said, "I have to practice tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, and then the day after the day after tomorrow I have a costume fitting." That's what gave me courage and energy.
Watanabe: She was more aware of her surroundings than anyone else. You helped me there too.
Sakai: That's right. When I was alittle out of the loop, she'd casually come over to me.
Watanabe: I'd say it's okay to think for yourself from now on.
Ikeda: Right, take care of yourself more.
Watanabe: Be selfish.
Hirakawa: Well then, I guess my goal is to be Hymeno (laughs)
Murakami: For Kaku-san, when the time came, he'd show off his "dependable big brother" nature.
Ikeda: He's got a heart as generous as the universe itself.
Hirakawa: I asked Kaku-san for alot of advice during filming, and he always listened to everything. I'm sure I'll be asking him for advice again in the future.
Kaku: Please do, please do!
Watanabe: When I got heated, he'd calmly give me advice from an adult's point of view. I also got alot of advice from him.
Sakai: I'm not the type of person who can talk to others about things, but there were times when Kaku-san sensed that I was at a loss and approached me. That made me really happy.
Kaku: I was alittle worried that you'd all think, "How annoying" (laughs).
Murakami: Aoto seemed like he was laid back, but even when times were tough or difficult, he always made it a point to help liven up the mood.
Ikeda: Usually, Nabe-chan and I notice the same things. We'd both go, "Hmm?"
Watanabe: That's true! (laughs).
Ikeda: That made me happy.
Kaku: Also, he had a super funny and cute character. He made me laugh so much.
Hirakawa: In the beginning, I wasn't the type to talk much, but I was happy to open up to Aoto!
Sakai, Murakami, Kaku & Ikeda: Right?!
Watanabe: No, I think I opened up first.
Hirakawa: We opened up to each other. At first, I thought we'd never get along (laughs).
Watanabe: Eeeh~?
Hirakawa: I kept watching you from different angles, and then you spoke up unexpectedly. I spoke up too.
Ikeda: Such words! (laughs). (*she used alot of onomatopoeia)
Sakai: Aoto and I are the only ones who are the same age.
Ikeda: That's true
Sakai: Especially in the pilot (episodes 1-5), I still wasn't used to things, but I was really inspired by Aoto's good acting.
Watanabe: No, on the contrary, I was focused on Taisei.
Murakami: Taisei had a huge burden on his shoulders as the main character, and it must've been extremely difficult for him, but I thought it was really amazing that he didn't come off that way at all.
Ikeda: Yeah, I definitely respect that.
Hirakawa: You must've had a much harder year than us. Still, you never said "It's tough" or, "I'm tired" at all.
Sakai: No, there were times when it was tough.
Hirakawa: It's amazing that you never showed it.
Kaku: Taisei had alot of trial and error in the beginning, but halfway through, I learned alot from him, including how to switch between emotions and how to act. What'll happen when you play a different role in the future? Right now, I'm very excited about Taisei, and wonder what kind of actor he'll become in the future.
Murakami: After all, he's the "leader."
Ikeda: Thank you for being the leader of King-Ohger!
Sakai: Same here, thank you everyone!
Murakami: Even after this job ends, I want to see you all again.
Watanabe, Hirakawa, Kaku & Ikeda: We'll definitely get together again!

Retainer Cast Special Comments From the cast members who fulfilled their roles as competent followers, supporting the kings of each country, their comments have arrived.
Morioka Yutaka (Douga) Profile: A strong retainer who served as part of the entourage for Racules. After that, he went job hunting in the other countries but wasn't hired, so he became the retainer for the next king, Gira, and protected the country.
"Please tell us what you respect about Douga."
Morioka: He's someone who values etiquette, does his absolute best in everything he does, and lives his life honestly through his own convictions. He has a strong will that allows him to sincerely offer advice to his king, but I also like the fact that there's a part of him that's somewhat out of the ordinary and we get a glimpse into his cute side.
"What are your impressions of Gira and Racules (including Sakai Taisei and Masato Yano), and were there any memorable moments during filming?"
Morioka: I think that both of them have a perfect link between their own personalities and those of the roles they played. Sakai Husty-sama is kind to everyone, and his natural side that's visible in his hard work is endearing, which makes me smile when I see him on set. Yano Husty-sama built his performance with great delicacy and precision. He truly is Racules. Their appearance have a certain "aura" that allows me to be their retainer without forcing myself to be aware of it.
"Give a message to the character you played!"
Morioka: Douga, you must be exhausted from the many things you had to do to support your country and family…..Sometimes, it's good to spend time relaxing and not think about anything.
"What was your most memorable moment in King-Ohger?"
Morioka: It'd be episode 21, the episode where Douga's job hunting. I have fond memories of the staff working together to support me to the best of their ability, even in the silliest scenes, including the wonderfully strange costumes and props as I traveled around each country. Then, after the short but intense performances with the other retainers of each country, there was the serious last scene with Gira-san. It was great and I'm truly grateful.
"A message to all the retainer members of the other countries!"
Morioka: Shiokara, don't address the kings with "you." Sebastian, despite your appearance, I'm in awe of your physical ability. Kuroda, I'd like to learn from you your excellent fighting skills. Morphonia, you should try to be alittle more motivated everyday. (*form of "you" meaning you're inferior to the speaker)
"Please give a message to the fans of King-Ohger."
Morioka: This was my first time participating in the Super Sentai series, and I was surprised and moved by the amount of energy and love shown by all the tokusatsu fans, and I was able to make it through this because of everyone's support. I can only express my gratitude. Your words on SNS and other sites have been well received. Please continue to love King-Ohger!
Chiwata Yuhei (Shiokara) Profile: When they first met, he saw Yanma as a yankii with a bossy attitude, but admired him after learning of his manly spirit. After that, as Yanma became king of N'kosopa, he became his retainer.
"Please tell us what you respect about Shiokara."
Chiwata: There's alot, but the most important would be his charm. You could call it junior colleague energy, but I think he's good at building relationships and closing the distance with people. I was never good at such things, but as I got older, I began to realize the importance of it and started to practice, and little by little, my weakness turned into my strength. However, I'm still not as good as Shiokara-kun, so I'd like to use him as a reference (laughs).
"What are your impressions of Yanma (including Watanabe Aoto), and were there any memorable moments during filming?"
Chiwata: I feel that Yanma is a character whose emotional growth was depicted throughout all the episodes. I think it's cool that he's able to calmly, sometimes violently, confront everything that happens to him, and then use what he learns from it to take the next steps in his life. I think this is also due to Aoto's acting ability, so Yanma and Aoto are one and the same! The most memorable moment was in episode 10. I still vividly remember thinking that the way he created the atmosphere of the scene was wonderful, just like Aoto.
"Give a message to the character you played!"
Chiwata: Thank you so much for your hard work! Keep up with the most coolest Yanma-kun and follow him wherever he goes!
"What was your most memorable moment in King-Ohger?"
Chiwata: It's episode 35. I was very happy that Shiokara's character, which had been built up, was given depth, and that his past of being very different was depicted. It was a really hot development, and as an actor, there were many scenes that required alot of passion, so even preparing for it was fun. Until the actual performance, I would read the script everyday and think, "How would Aoto react if I did this?" Normally, I don't discuss the scripts with Aoto, so imagining it was part of the fun. What's more, we wouldn't know the title of an episode until the week before it aired, so when I saw the title, "Don't Cry Slack Jawed Tanuki," I was moved. The last bit of the episode was a perfect fit. Furthermore, I was overwhelmed with emotion when I heard that it was (screenwriter) Takano Minato-san who came up with the idea. I was also very happy that this episode won a special award at the "Toei Tokusatsu Fan Awards 2023."
"A message to all the retainer members of the other countries!"
Chiwata: Originally, I don't think the Super Sentai series featured so many sub characters. This is because there are already six members making up the main cast. However, I think the reason why the retainers have become so beloved is due to the fact that we all played appealing characters, and continued to support the main cast, who played the kings, in different ways in each country. This resulted in the popularity of "retainers". And for that, I'm grateful. Thank you so much!
"Please give a message to the fans of King-Ohger."
Chiwata: First off, thank you so much for sticking with us for the past year. I still think about how fortunate I am to have been involved in this production in the long history of the Super Sentai series. It was a great experience for me to see everyone's excitement online every week, and to then go to the set feeling like I was carrying everyone's voice with me as I performed. In this show, each character stands out, and I've seen the characters moving freely in everyone's minds through fanart, and I feel that this was a production that has been truly loved by everyone. There were alot of things that made me feel like, "Ah! I see, I definitely think Shiokara would say that! I think I'll do it! I want to play Shiokara like this!," and they were alot of fun to see. I also felt a real love for the people who participated as extras and prepared costumes for the different countries. Thank you so much. The Super Sentai series is revised every year, but I hope that King-Ohger will remain in your hearts forever. And, for those of you who are children now, I'd like you to go back and watch it again when you grow up. I'm sure you'll see it differently. Until then, let's meet again soon!
Yoshimitsu Hiroto (Sebastian) Profile: His real name is Romane Dearborn (aged 25). Under orders from Hymeno, he was given a "butler looking" elderly appearance through special makeup, and changed his name to "Sebastian" when he became Hymeno's retainer.
"Please tell us what you respect about Sebastian."
Yoshimitsu: I think that Sebastian's willingness to fulfill any of Hymeno-sama's selfish requests is worthy of respect. Sebastian's life was saved by Hymeno-sama, so he must be absolutely obedient to her orders. Well~ I think Sebastian understands the kindness and compassion that goes beyond Hymeno-sama's selfishness.
"What are your impressions of Hymeno (including Murakami Erica), and were there any memorable moments during filming?"
Yoshimitsu: I think that Murakami Erica-san is an impeccable young lady. There are no complaints when it comes to her appearance. She's bright and has a great personality! In addition, she's positive. Even when she's depressed because the performance isn't going as well as she'd like, she doesn't let it get her down, saying, "I've gained this experience, so I can use it in the next performance." In the first place, I don't have time to hold back (laughs). She had a hard time sitting down on set. When I asked her to "sit down," she replied, "Because all the extras are standing, I can't sit," which shows just how considerate she is. She's a really good kid!!
"Give a message to the character you played!"
Yoshimitsu: When playing Sebastian, my hair is slicked back, I wear glasses, and I have a mustache. His appearance is balanced by the fact that he wears a tailcoat, but while in casual clothes, with his "slicked back hair, glasses, and mustache," wouldn't he stand out? On the train ride home from the set, there wouldn't be that many people who'd sit next to me, right? (laughs). Well, that's because I did ride the train looking like that.
"What was your most memorable moment in King-Ohger?"
Yoshimitsu: Was it episode 25 with the 20 person combination? If I'm remembering right, I rode in God Scopion. It was a fresh new experience for me, both the cockpit and the controls. Also, episode 36, where Romane Dearborn appears, personally left a deep impression on me. It was Sebastian with his special makeup removed. We find out how the super handsome Romane Dearborn ended up in the special makeup, and why he serves Hymeno-sama as a butler who changed his name to "Sebastian"……It's my favorite episodes because it depicts the bond between Hymeno-sama and Sebastian.
"A message to all the retainer members of the other countries!"
Yoshimitsu: To all the retainers, thank you so much for getting along with me. Douga-san and Boshimar-san are relatively closer in age with me, so when filming ended in the evening, we used to go out and drink alot. Morphonia-chan was my partner who liked to talk with me alot about old man stuff. I also talked to Shiokara-kun and Kuroda-kun about various things. From now on, please continue to support Sebastian!
"Please give a message to the fans of King-Ohger."
Yoshimitsu: Thank you very much for your support of King-Ohger over the past year. No matter how interesting a show is, it's not complete unless everyone watches it. This time, King-Ohger has been seen by so many people, and I think everyone involved in this production feels happy. If it remains in your heart and you remember it someday, King-Ohger will live on forever!! Thank you so much.
Hasegawa Kasumi (Morphonia) Profile: She's Rita's retainer and candidate to ascend to the throne as Gokkan's king. While she has a lazy personality, she's always concerned about Rita and never gives up on her work despite complaining.
"Please tell us what you respect about Morphonia."
Hasegawa: Even though she complained about it, no matter how difficult the environment or situation was, she was able to do her job. And, she never gave up on communicating with Rita. If it were me, I would've given up halfway (laughs). I also respect her quick thinking and ability to look ahead. She's a surprisingly capable kid (laughs).
"What are your impressions of Rita (including Hirakawa Yuzuki), and were there any memorable moments during filming?"
Hasegawa: I think Rita was and still is an interesting person. It's great that we're able to see them in many different situations, with the self they show on the outside and the real them. They're pure in a good way. When I first met Yuzuchin, I thought, "Waaah! It's Rita!! Rita's appeared!!" (laughs). When you talk to her, she's even friendlier, kinder, and more dependable than Rita. My partner. Also, I guess our most memorable moment was……the kabedon. I couldn't stop laughing (laughs).
"Give a message to the character you played!"
Hasegawa: When Chikyu is at peace, please relax and enjoy eating oranges under a kotatsu. Make sure to apply for paid vacations and eat lots of delicious food. Also, please continue to support Rita.
"What was your most memorable moment in King-Ohger?"
Hasegawa: It's episodes 10, 25, 38, and 45. I was impressed by the gradual deepening of her relationship with Rita. While reading the scripts, I felt that the way Rita and Morphonia relationship grew closer was very endearing. I remember that even when I was actually performing, there was a warm feeling within me. And the more we filmed these scenes, the more I came to love Rita.
"A message to all the retainer members of the other countries!"
Hasegawa: Douga-san, We look forward to welcoming your career change at Gokkan any time. Boshimar-san, I've had almost no interactions with the real Boshimar-san, so let's meet in Hakabaka if you get a chance. When the opportunity arises of course. Shiokara, I've been curious about this for awhile now, but what's up with your curly bang? Sebastian, you've been a great help to my Rita. Thanks for your continued support. Kuroda-san, next time, please treat me to some delicious food. Gerojim, you're alittle bigger than the others, so please consider your range when moving. That tail will hit you.
"Please give a message to the fans of King-Ohger."
Hasegawa: Thank you for supporting King-Ohger up to this point! Even though there were many strong "personalities" among the kings, they were able to reach the same goal in the end. Through this production, I also learned the strength of valuing one's own individuality and respecting the individuality of others. I hope that King-Ohger, which was created by many people including myself, will remain in everyone's memories. And with that, see you later!!
Kanzaki Hajime (Kuroda's Actor) Profile: A male kuroko who serves as the retainer to Toufu's king, Kaguragi. Although his face isn't shown, his movements are gorgeous and he's got a very nice voice.
"Please tell us what you respect about Kuroda."
Kanzaki: It's possible that he's known Kaguragi for a long time, but since becoming his retainer, he's kept the "king and retainer" relationship, and has been thinking and acting in accordance to his position as a kuroko. He's sometimes missing, but he has a cute side. And, he has a nice voice (thanks to Toriumi Kosuke-san!).
"What are your impressions of Kaguragi (including Kaku So), and were there any memorable moments during filming?"
Kanzaki: He's big! Of course, he's also tall, but his muscle mass and costume makes him look even bigger. In his spare time, he does muscle training with Masato Yano-san and others, and he'll work on his shoulders using a folding chair, so he's definitely stoic! Other than that, when the Director gave me the "OK" for a take in the film where I use a trampoline as Kuroda, he was happy and said, "You did it!" He's a magnificent man, not only with his body but also with his kind heart, it's as if he's Toufu's mother nature!
"Give a message to the character you played!"
Kanzaki: I read somewhere that originally there was no role for "Kuroda," but I started speaking lines along the way, and I'm grateful for this blessed year. Once the matter with the Uchu King has been settled, please take a good rest.
"What was your most memorable moment in King-Ohger?"
Kanzaki: It's episode 9, where I spoke as Kuroda for the first time. It was also fun to mess around with the other retainers! As for Toufu, it would be episode 37. It was like a Taiga Drama that condensed Kaguragi's past, which had been told little by little in the main story and the film into this one episode, and I was relieved that abit of Kuroda's past was also revealed.
"A message to all the retainer members of the other countries!"
Kanzaki: Boshimar-sama (Fukuzawa Jubun), I have fond memories of being mistaken for (Masato) Tsutamune-san when I first met him (laughs). He has a strong passion for acting, and I learned alot from him. I got goosebumps when I played the role of a soldier against him! Douga-sama (Morioka Yutaka), It was great that you got to play the role of a handsome old man with a family. On the other hand, when you were being interviewed in various countries, you were really funny and your actions were cool! Your style is good! Shiokara-sama (Chiwata Yuhei), He was always thinking stoically and calmly about how to make the viewers happy, which was a great inspiration! His style is good! Sebastian (Yoshimitsu Hiroto): Thank you so much for talking to me in your spare time and for thinking about a bunch of ideas for the flow of the performance on set! It's a pity that you couldn't do a backflip……If the opportunity arises, let's film it! Morphonia-sama (Hasegawa Kasumi), She had a "floaty" vibe, but she knew what was expected of her and was very stoic on the inside. It was wonderful to see her naturally embody what a senior colleague once told me, "Create fans among the staff." It's a pity that she couldn't do a back handspring……please do it if the opportunity arises! Gerojim-sama (Saitou Kenya, Suit Actor), With Gerojim's arrival, the retainer team became even more lively. The delicate acting that linked Seki Tomokazu-san's voice with his large body was wonderful! It's a pity that you couldn't perform a reverse somersault……If the opportunity arises… (laughs).
"Please give a message to the fans of King-Ohger."
Kanzaki: Everyone, thank you so much for supporting King-Ohger. It was a very meaningful year for me, as I was able to see the scenes in a different way than usual in the Action Club, I was able to appear on TikTok while rubbing shoulders with talented performers, and I was able to become part of the merchandise. Thank you so much for your letters and presents as well! I'll study so that I won't have any trouble when Kuroda appears again, thank you for your continued support!
Seki Tomokazu (Gerojim's VA) Profile: He's a Kaijim equipped with mayfly BNA and can mimic the appearance of humans by applying light refraction. He's currently working with Jeramie, who has become the king of the Bugnarak.
"Please tell us what you respect about Gerojim."
Seki: Ultimately, I think it's his unwavering faith. Even when he's lost, troubled, or frustrated, in the end, he tries to follow through with his beliefs. I respect his heart and attitude, which is like a blue flame, quiet but never extinguished.
"What are your impressions of Jeramie, and during recording, were there any episodes with memorable moments?"
Seki: First of all, I'm disappointed that I didn't get to work with Ikeda Masashi-san, who played Jeramie, even once during recording. When I saw Jeramie's performance during the broadcasts, I felt that his soft demeanor, intelligence, and his somewhat lonely appearance were all wonderful. I'd like to directly talk with him in person someday!
"Give a message to the character you played!"
Seki: I'm so glad you found a nice place to belong. I hope you'll feel safe and secure at Jeramie's side for all eternity.
"What was your most memorable moment in King-Ohger?"
Seki: That we were all able to ride the Shugods with the kings! I've ridden in Robo's as an enemy in previous productions, but I think the opportunity to ride a Robo in the Super Sentai series is very valuable! Even though it was just my voice, it was great to feel like I was in the fight with them!
"Please give a message to the fans of King-Ohger."
Seki: This year has flown by! I'm sure that everyone else feels the same way. However, I believe that the story will continue! Please continue to support King-Ohger, and let's see where we end up, together!

Tobias Menzies
I was reading on a card how much would fit in ten years and I saw that in 10 Years
fit 120 Months
521,714 Weeks
3652 Days
87648 Hours
5258880 Minutes
315532800 Seconds.
And even in all this, it doesn't fit what it meant for me to wait for him.
Within these 10 years, there are memories of being persecuted since the beginning when I said that he was my favorite.
All the times, I had to explain the difference between actors and characters for people who hated him because of Frank and BJR.
All the times I've had to say that I really like Sam, but that at the top of my list will always be Tobias, and this isn't a sin.
All the times I said there was no dispute between them.
All the times I was hurt when I saw people from my side of the fandom excluding him from photos or wishing he wouldn't go to some events because it would "take the focus" away from the main actors couple (yes, this stupid thing happened).
I've been in this fandom since the beginning, and anyone who knows me knows that for me, it's always been about him. I'm not someone who started using Tobias to justify hatred or to disguise an unhealthy love for Sam. It was natural from the first day I looked at him. And a thousand times, I've expressed my pride about how private, talented, different, down-to-earth he is.
I've been going to Cons of Outlander since 2015, but he rarely does Cons, I had already met the loves of my fandom friends' lives, but never mine. Until Saturday, April 13, 2024.
When I took the first photo (with him and Sam) and saw him for the first time, everything around me disappeared completely. There he was, finally. I was practically led by my friend, I gathered all the courage to say where I came from, then he blinked, and all my senses and rationality, and 🎶🎶🎶 all that was me, was gone🎶. I don't remember how I left the room, but my friends remember... I needed to be strong, I thought. There would still be three photos with him alone (one of them a gift from much-loved friends), a photo with him and Sophie, and an autograph. I would have to maintain my sanity until then.
For the first time, I understood the fact that Sam Heughan's fans left photo shoots shaking.
During the photo shoot, I spoke quietly, and so did he, and for me, it was like a dance because I said he decided the poses and I followed. I left the session and I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the girl on the team who asked me how I was and I could only say "he's my favorite" and she hugged me.
There was a rush at the autograph, but I gave him a book about theatre from my country, and I believe it was a gift he didn't expect. He thanked me with his hand on his chest, like the gentleman he is and at that moment I wanted to be royalty because I was going to give him all the honors of a noble English knight that I could find in the Buckingham Palace . Do I like British Monarchy? I like Tobias Menzies.
Ah....how I wish I could sit down with him and say he has a fan page that I manage, say that I admire him for being truly discreet in every way. Ask about his process of acting , speak about Stanislavski, Brecht, Ibsen, talk about my experiences in the classroom with The Theater of the Oppressed and say how good is for me to see someone like him acting. But conventions are collective experiences, and there would be no time.
In ten years, a lot can happen... all this time waiting for him. And I would do it all again. Someone like him was worth waiting for.

Idk laws and contracts of actors so if it's wrong go with it.
Yandere male actor x gn reader
Yandere who is a super famous actor starring as the male lead love interest in the upcoming romance/action movie. They initially thought nothing of you who were just a side actor for the movie with just a few lines.
However, unlike many others who weren't too into it, even some of the higher role cast, you were giving it your all in your lines. He respected that. That alone got him to interact with you a few times and he rather liked your interests that he got you to bring up.
As time went on, you were eventually recorded for your lines and were still allowed back onto the set. Mostly because oddly enough you became friends with the main actor. Others- especially the lead love interest woman- weren't too happy, but they couldn't do anything about it. He's the one that demanded you to be there or he'd refuse to continue acting in the movie.
Last time you weren't allowed on set by the female lead love interest, he walked off set and stood by you out of the building, shocking everyone. That made the others begrudgingly agree to let you back in. The director didn’t really care, but the others were annoyed he always seemed more inclined to talk to you than them.
The lead woman seemed to make it her mission to get you off the set since you no longer needed to be there. You knew what she was trying to do. So did the director and the male lead actor. Even many of the others quickly pick up on it but do nothing from the drastic measures the male actor did before.
With time you noticed he seemed to get more and more agitated by her attempts. One time in spite or whatever was going on with her, she tried to burn you by “accidentally” dropping a very hot beverage on you. He steps in for you and gets burned instead, getting her in a lot of serious trouble. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot, so the burn wasn’t too bad. You still kept apologizing to him that he got burned instead. He kept brushing your apology off, telling you he wanted to do it. A part of you thinks he enjoys the attention his burn gave him with you. You were the only one allowed to help put ointment on the burns.
Eventually though, the woman gets kicked out by being involved in something you didn't feel like digging into. She’s been a royal thorn for weeks. She struggled in the grip of two men who were taking her away to be sent to jail. She yelled before being dragged off set and arrested that she was framed. No one believed her.
He had a grin on his face that seemed too genuine for the situation. You knew he kept a friendly smile to everyone to stay more well-liked, but this still felt wrong in a way you couldn't explain. Like he was glad she was gotten rid of.
The movie wasn't even close to finished yet, but they couldn't find anyone similar enough to her to fill the role and redo all of them again.
He comes up with the idea to change the story where he as the character can't find her character. That her character disappeared or stopped responding to his. And in the gloom of his character, he meets yours. Therefore making YOU the new love interest.
You were absolutely gobsmacked he said that and you didn't even know what to say. Just frozen with a numb brain.
The director liked the idea to a point but didn't want you to be the new love interest as you're not a famous person so likely views and sales would tank. They managed to find a fairly famous actor who was willing to fill the role instead.
He absolutely refused and threatened to walk off set right then and there, never to come back if they went through with having that person be the new love interest. Besides, there are enough people and characters in the movie. What would be the point of adding another person? They'd have to pay the actor quite a lot too for the sudden demand.
The director eventually disheartenedly agrees.
It was a way higher role than you’ve ever had, but you refused to back down at the opportunity and worked hard on the new lines and scenes that had to be created for you.
It gets to the final end scene of the movie. In the end kissing scene, it was supposed to be incredibly "romantic". You were unsure how to feel about having to kiss such an actor who’s also your friend at this point. But it had to be done. Just a quick kiss and things could be over with.
You force yourself to get into character. “How do I know you’ll always be there for me?”
He cups his left hand on your face and looks at you adoringly. It’s so convincing that it seems genuine how much he loves you. “I would kill if I had to in order to keep you by my side. I couldn’t, and wouldn’t live without you.”
… That wasn’t his line from the script. You don’t get a chance to say anything to stop the scene before his hand is on the back of your head, pulling your face to his, having his lips collide with yours.
He had so much fervor like he genuinely wanted to kiss. Is this why he’s such a prized actor?
“Cut!!”
You put your hand on his chest and shove him away. Your face feels like it’s more than on fire and you can’t look him in the eye. He only answers by chuckling. You end up running off to cool your face off.
“That was a bit different than what it was supposed to be, but it was so good that I can’t complain. That was incredible!”
“Well, because it’s genuine.”
Dead. Silence.
“What??? So that’s why you wanted them???”
His face formed a massive grin, knowing what saying this out loud would bring. It will be chaotic, but the public is much more willing to listen to him than you. And no jealous fans will be able to get to you. After all, you’re coming with him sooner than later whether you like it or not.

I liked OFMD and I'm sad it's not getting renewed, but I agree that the fandom was especially toxic, even by the standards of currently popular slash-heavy fandoms. I wanted to read fic after s1 ended the way it did, and I read a little bit, but along with it having all the tropes that I can't stand in a lot of what is currently big with the MSF crowd (and that I'd been happy to have a reprieve from in my current main M/M fandom), the toxicity of the online fandom discourse made me quickly realize it was one that I was going to discuss among my current-friends-from-other-fandoms who also watched it, and my sister who watches it, and pretty much ignore the rest of the Internet. It was such a perfect storm of everything awful, from people who are overly invested in it to an unhealthy degree (I think I realized I wasn't gonna be active in the larger fandom around a month or so before the s2 renewal announcement, when I saw earnest PSA tweets telling people to "stop threatening suicide in HBO's replies if they don't renew OFMD"), to bombarding and parasocial obsessions with the creators and actors, to all the classic "anti" and purity police crap that plagues anything that gets popular on here.
The fandom it reminds me the most of, honestly, is Yuri on Ice fandom at its peak in early-mid 2017. Again, a show I love, but a fandom I absolutely do not miss. In some ways they are kind of similar shows: ones with canon M/M romances where they were not billed as that, and they were hinted from early on but people didn't trust it due to years of dealing with queerbaiting, where that sort of thing slowly crept up on people and then became the defining feature of how it was discussed everywhere. I wonder if there's a particular level of insanity that that type of thing breeds in its fans - or maybe, more broadly, "canon M/M with a large female fanbase." Like, you don't see this kind of thing in canon M/M stuff that's mostly watched by queer men rather than women, but there are shades of the insanity I also remember from Glee fandom (I was more active on the F/F side of things there, which had its own unhinged drama, but the Klaine vs. anti-Klaine stuff was so explosive that it was hard not to notice it if you were anywhere in that fandom, like a mushroom cloud in the distance). But YOI and OFMD do seem very... singular in the particular kind of obsession that they generate.
And I really wish people would shape the fuck up, because if they're going to act like this over and over again, that's just going to de-incentivize showrunners to make shows like this for that audience.
Driving Con O'Neill off Twitter was one of the worst parts of it, too. There was something so refreshingly earnest about how much he embraced the fandom, even the weirdest parts - saying with regard to NSFW fanart that "art is art" and retweeting stuff like his character in a crop-top that said "babygirl." It was so nice to see an actor who didn't usually have that kind of following embrace it wholeheartedly rather than steering clear. ....And then people had to be awful and creepy and obsessive and he left Twitter. I bet he's going to be a lot more skeptical of dealing with fans in the future!
--
It's not just the canon m/m aspect: it's the wholesomeness.
Yes, yes, they're all evil pirates, I agree, but watching S1 did give me the feeling of something that was supposed to be very progressive and light-hearted in particular ways. I don't think that's bad, but it does tend to attract some very over-sensitive fans with some very rigid expectations.
It's sadly par for the course that one of the random side character actors is the fun one and people are jackasses and desperately want the leads they ship to be the fandomy ones and/or just start creeping on any actor they can get a reaction from.

Thank you if you do." Summary: When Georgie finds you on his porch bleeding and bruised, he finds the need to avenge you. Warnings: Abuse, Slut Shaming, Angst, Protective! Georgie, Not Proofread Words: 2.4K
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Georgie Cooper may not be the smartest man alive, but when it came to the people he loved, he was protective of them. So when you showed up at the Cooper residence all beaten up, you were nervous.
About a year ago, your dad lost his job and ended up spending his days and nights drinking his life away. Since then, he'd found a new job, but the drinking never stopped.
As time went by, drinking led to harmless fits of rage to you and your mother hiding away in a room until your father fell asleep. Trying your best to get away from your father, you joined after-school clubs and helped tutor kids.
That's how you met Georgie.
Georgie was failing almost half of his classes, and if he wanted to stay on the football team, he had to get his F's to at least a C. So, he asked around, and everyone he talked to said that besides Sheldon, you were the one to go to. And he did.
Surprisingly enough, you and Georgie got along. The two of you worked hard, and as his grades got to where he needed them, you still kept in touch. You would have lunch with him and his friends, and sometimes join him at the movies. You two even became each other's wingman, with him giving you advice on boys and you vice versa.
All was good until the day you allowed Georgie to walk you home. Being the gentleman he was, Georgie walked you home every day, but the home he was walking you to was actually a few blocks down from your own. You told him that was your house because you didn't want to risk your father finding out that you were friends with a guy.
But today was different. You and Georgie had just left the movies and you both couldn't stop talking about it on your journey home.
"Did you see that alien?" Georgie laughed.
"Yes, oh my goodness. When it first came onto the screen I was so scared," You said, with a soft laugh.
Georgie looked over at you. Still holding the theater popcorn, he popped a handful into his mouth and began making weird creature sounds, which startled you a bit. You jumped and released a scream.
Georgie laughed harder than before and shook his head. "It's so easy," he said, talking about how easy it was to scare you. You teasingly punched him with a long grin before grabbing some popcorn.
Unknowingly, you and Georgie had passed up the house you had told him was your house and were quickly making your way to your actual home.
When you arrived at your house, your smile was gone as you quickly realized your mistake.
"Oh, dang it!" Georgie said, flinging his arms in the air in disappointment. "We passed your house."
You worriedly looked at the door to your house, ignoring the boy next to you. "You should go," you told Georgie as you noticed the living room curtains abruptly shut.
"What?" Georgie asked, confused.
Georgie looked over at you to see that the playful smile that you once wore was replaced with a sunken frown and a look of fear in your eyes. He followed your line of sight to see your home.
"Y/N, this isn't your home. I'm not leaving you to walk the streets alone at night."
Your lip quivered as you continued to stare at the window. "Georgie, go home," you muttered, but Georgie just shook his head.
"Y/N, what's going on. This-"
"This is my home, Georgie! Now please... leave."
Your fear overwhelmed you as you watched a dark figure walk past the window. Georgie looked back at you confused. He knew you wouldn't move until he left, so even though he didn't want to, he did as he was told and left.
He turned and left, only looking back when he got to the end of the street. He looked back and watched as you entered the dark house. An uneasy feeling washed over Georgie, but he continued home, waiting till tomorrow to ask his questions.
———
Georgie had only been home an hour when he heard the doorbell. He ignored the door and continued reading his magazine. He questioned who would be coming over at 10 o'clock at night. His door was cracked open as he heard his mother answer the door.
"Y/N?" he heard his mother ask, slightly worried, making his head poke up from behind his magazine. Georgie slowly stood from his bed as he wondered why you would be here after he left you at what was actually your home.
Georgie walked into the living room and froze.
You stood at the door with messed up hair, a black eye, and ripped-up clothes. Your eyes met his, and suddenly, he understood why you were so scared, earlier.
"Y/N?" Georgie called out your name as he walked over to you. You were shaking, which Mary had quickly noticed.
"Here... let's get you out of the cold and inside." Mary softly grabbed your arm and moved you into their home before closing the door. She led you to the couch and Georgie followed close behind you.
"George!" Mary called out for her husband.
A few seconds later a slightly annoyed George Cooper exited his room. "What," he said, a bit aggressively, causing Y/N to flinch.
"Oh dear," Mary said after seeing Y/N's reaction. "George, grab the first aid kit. I'm gonna put some soup on."
"Why?" George said, confused, stepping into the living room. His eyes shifted from his wife to the figure on the couch. He moved closer to get a better look at who was on the couch. When he saw it was Y/N, George was in shock. "Y/N? What happened?"
"I would like to know that as well," Georgie said, standing behind his parents with his arms crossed. He kept his gaze strictly on Y/N. Georgie was angry. Not at Y/N, but at whoever did this.
"Yes, I would like to know that as well, but can we at least stitch her up first," Mary said before leaving for the kitchen.
"Oh, right," George agreed, leaving to grab the first aid.
With his parents gone, Georgie took the opportunity to talk to you alone. He slowly stepped forward, joining you on the couch. Georgie opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Instead, you laid your head on his shoulder as you silently cried.
"Who did this to you?" Georgie asked in a soft tone.
On the outside, Georgie was prepared to do whatever to help you feel better, but on the inside, Georgie was angry. He wanted to kill whoever did this to you. You were everything to Georgie. If he could, he'd give you the world.
You closed your eyes and sniffled before answering the boy. "My dad," you whispered. Your cries became louder, making Georgie tense up. Unsure what to do, he placed a loving kiss on your forehead and whispered sweet nothings into your ear.
He did this for a few minutes before George came back with the first aid kit and a wet cloth.
"Okay. It took me a second, but I finally found it," George said, kneeling down in front of you. "Mind telling us what happened?" George asked, as he grabbed her arm and started wiping off the blood.
You hesitated. Just thinking about what happened brought you into a spiral. But Georgie quickly calmed you down by calmly running his fingers through your hair, trying to fix what your dad messed up.
"My dad is an alcoholic," you started. "He has been for a year. And it wasn't until recently that he started getting... physical."
"Your dad did this?" George asked. You nodded, and George went back to cleaning you up.
Mary soon came into the room with a bowl of soup. "Here you go, darling?" She placed the bowl on the side table and stood next to her kneeling husband.
"Thank you, Mrs. Cooper," you gave her a small smile, before continuing. "Anyways, I started joining after-school activities to get away from all the chaos. That's how I met Georgie."
"Wait. So this has been going on since before you met Georgie," Mary asked with a frown. You nodded.
"I didn't want Georgie to get hurt. So, when he asked if he could walk me home, I told him a fake address, so my father wouldn't see him. But today, the night got ahead of us and we passed the house we were supposed to stop at."
Georgie was livid. You were so scared of your father that you lied to protect him. No one should have to avoid their own home.
"We stopped in front of my house, and my father saw."
You paused and suddenly, more tears started flooding your eyes. You tried to speak, but your throat felt tight. Georgie rubbed your back and calmly waited. It took you a minute, but you were finally able to talk again.
"I made sure Georgie left before going into the house, where I knew he was waiting for me. My dad can be unpredictable when he drinks and I didn't want him to attack Georgie."
You wiped your eyes as you kept your gaze down toward your lap.
"When I entered he was just sitting there in the dark... Waiting. When he started talking to me, I knew by his soft voice that I would be in trouble, so I did exactly as he said and answered all his questions truthfully."
You paused, taking a deep breath.
"He grabbed me by the throat and called me a "slut". But it didn't stop there..."
"Oh, lord," Mary muttered to herself.
"When he finally let go of me, he punched me so hard that I fell to the ground. Then he climbed on top of me and began to rip up my clothes. He said that if I was going to be a slut, then I needed to look the part. As he tore up my clothes, I could feel his nails ripping into my skin, hence the scratches."
You paused again, sobbing into your hand.
It took everything in Georgie not to go to your house and teach your father a lesson about treating girls, especially daughters, but he kept his composure.
"I tried to scream for help, but no one came. I saw my mom standing in the doorway, but she didn't do anything. She just stood there... watching. When my dad was done, he dragged me out of the house and locked me out. That's when I decided to come here."
"Oh, you poor thing," Mary frowned with a hand over her chest. She moved toward you and pulled you out of Georgie's arms and into hers. She held you tight as you sobbed loudly against her shirt.
"It's really terrible that you had to go through all that. You don't deserve that. No one does," George said, throwing in his two cents.
Georgie stood from his spot on the couch. "I wanna kill him!" Georgie said, making his way to the door, but he was quickly stopped by his father's grip on his arm. "We're not killing anybody," George said, but that didn't stop Georgie from wanting to go over to your house and beat the living daylights out of your father.
"I think it's been a long night for all of us, so we should all get some sleep. I'm gonna grab some blankets. Georgie, you want to help get the couch ready?" Mary asked, giving you a smile.
"Actually, can I sleep with Georgie? I don't feel comfortable being alone."
Mary was unsure if letting you sleep with Georgie was the right move. She looked over at George, who just shrugged, and then back at you. You looked so sad, and Mary just couldn't say no to someone who's been through all that.
She nodded and sent you another sad smile, which you thankfully returned. "Georgie, take Y/N to your room, and i'll be in their soon with some spare pajamas and blankets. I want to talk to your dad about something."
Georgie's eyes widened, "You aren't seriously thinking about sending her back there, are you?"
Mary was taken aback by her son's outburst. "No," she shook her head. "No, I would never say that. Just go help Y/N so your father and I can talk alone."
Georgie let out a huff, not in the mood to go back and forth with his mother. "Come on, Y/N," He beckoned you to follow him, and you did just that without any hesitation.
———
You entered Georgie's room and made a quick B-line to his bed. You carefully removed your shoes and lay down. It was safe to say that after the night you had, you were exhausted.
"I know it's a mess, but I wasn't exactly expecting company," Georgie said from across the room. He picked up some of his clothes from off the floor and threw them into an empty hamper. When he was done, he turned to see you knocked out on his bed.
Someone knocked at Georgie's door, making him flinch before turning to see who it was. Mary stood at the door, still wearing that same smile from earlier as she held onto a folded blanket and nightgown.
"I just came to drop these off," Mary spoke in a slightly hushed tone.
"I think you're a bit late for that," Georgie responded, pointing back at you as you slept soundly in his bed.
Mary nodded. "Okay, then I will just leave these right here," she placed the folded blanket and piece of clothing on the corner of the bed next to the bed.
"Thanks, Mom," Georgie smiled, making Mary's smile grow wider.
"No problem, honey," she said before making her way out of the room.
With his mom gone and you sleep, Georgie quickly got ready for bed and joined you. He lay on his back, staring up at the ceiling.
"I swear. Next time someone even thinks about hurting you, I won't hesitate to kill 'em." Georgie knew no one was listening, but he still continued express his feelings toward you.
"I love you," he said to you, leaning over to place a kiss on your forehead before turning off the lights and falling asleep.

How to Stick to the Point About Rachel Zegler and Snow White
"Rachel Zegler is just an actress doing her job, Disney is the one to blame for the Snow White changes!"
Just because she didn't write the changes doesn't mean she's not responsible for the words that come out of her mouth and the tone in which she says them. If anything, her skills as an actor, which usually include control over intonation, make her even more responsible for tone and attitude, not less.
Disney didn't write her a script for her interviews that said "now include a childhood memory that insinuates a negative opinion of the original Snow White!"
If you want to make it about how well she's doing at her "job..." She's not being professional: if her goal is to promote the new movie, alienating fans of the original is the worst way to accomplish that goal.
"Why are you attacking her just because she doesn't like the original? Lots of people don't like the original!"
The problem isn't that she doesn't like the original. Harrison Ford didn't like Han Solo, and he did a great job playing Han Solo anyway: because he understood the character, even if he didn't like him. Zegler is demonstrating that she doesn't understand the original movie, and doesn't like it based on that misunderstanding.
"You're just criticizing her because you're racist!"
Not really, because the point of Snow White as a character is pure love and pure innocence: and that point has been retold across all cultures. Rachel Zegler's skin color takes very little away from the role: it has nothing to do with her comments. Why are you making everything about a person's race? Kind of racist of you.
"You're just criticizing her because you hate women!"
If I hate women, why am I defending one of the greatest female characters of all time?
"Snow White is a movie where the Prince has to save Snow who does nothing but sing and dream of being rescued. It SHOULD get an update!! You're just worshipping the old one because you hate empowered women."
You don't understand the original movie. Snow White is a movie where the main character has faith that pure, innocent love will find her even when the odds are impossible.
She is the only character in the movie, contrasted with Grumpy and the Queen, who is genuine and doesn't hide what she is, because she's not afraid. She has several lines in the movie pointing that superpower-of-character-strength out. The Queen is afraid everyone will see how ugly she is in the inside if she's not Fairest of All. Grumpy is afraid his tender heart will lead to heartbreak so he hides it with grumpiness. Snow White hides nothing. She's the strongest character in the movie for that reason.
Again: Snow White IS an empowered woman: she's empowered with strength of character that can't be broken or twisted by circumstances even as a child. My definition of power is just different (and truer, and more powerful) than yours.
The Prince has two scenes: one where he falls in love with Snow White and promises to give her his heart in one meeting because that's how amazing she is, and the other where he fulfills that promise. His "effect" of waking her up wouldn't have happened without her "cause" of being a worthy enough woman to love.
They're not just "reimagining" the old version: they're replacing it. They're claiming to fix what's "broken" about the original. Therefore attacks on this movie are not attacks against the patriarchy or attacks against bigotry: they're attacks against the previous VALUES of faith, innocence, and the worthiness of pure love. Love that doesn't have to fight because it's powerful enough on its own. Faith that isn't corroded by circumstances. Innocence that doesn't turn bitter and inspires others. That's what they're saying is "broke" and trying to fix.
Do not let people derail the actual argument. Stories matter because they represent values. Values shape a culture. Rachel Zegler isn't a target: she's an example of what's happening in the culture, and makes a good entryway into talking about it. Don't get it twisted.

Chapter 1 - 2 LINK
Chapter III - The Barn
Heidi's POV:
The Monday before Halloween...
"Jim... we need this," you meet his hardened gaze. He shakes his head and sucks his teeth, turning his attention to the open window. "Just let us stay open until ten at least, Hop. This is our busiest time of the year. This is how we make money. Do you know how many people we have on payroll?" You ramble; your voice coming out a little more manic than you would've hoped.
"Heidi..."
"Yes, Jim."
"Three people died here... He killed a Cunningham. And, a Carver... Those names hold weight in this town. People aren't just gonna forget what happened to them overnight."
"No one is asking them to forget, Jim." You shut your eyes softly, taking a deep breath; pressing your air out slowly.
The judgment is so apparent in his eyes. Jim doesn't understand, and if he doesn't; no one else will.
"I know this is callous. And, I know that those families just lost their loved ones. I'm a mom, Hop. I couldn't imagine losing my kids... like that." You swallow stiffly, clearing the lump in your throat. "I saw them... All three victims. And, I'll never get that out of my head... But, you have the guy, Jim. You have someone behind bars. Our business can't just stop..."
"We all know Alfie didn't do it. The man's a lunatic; but, he's basically harmless. He just got released this afternoon."
"Why?"
"Because there was CCTV footage of him stumbling outside of Melvald's at the time of the murders, Heidi."
"Jesus Christ," you sigh.
"You've known that man for twenty-plus years. He's a fuckin' kook; but, he's no killer."
"Please..." You ask, pitifully. Hopper shakes his head, quickly burying it in his hand; grumbling in frustration as he tries his best to stay firm. "I have a plan, Jim... We're still going to lose a lot. I mean a lot of money... but, it will be something. No hayride... No haunted house."
Jim peers at you with weary eyes; rolling them away. "And how are you gonna manage that, Jones?"
You hold back a hopeful smile; bringing out a slip of paper with your agenda, sliding it his way. "No one can get into the grounds without coming through the main gates. We will account for everyone that comes in and out; body searches, heavy police presence, closing at ten."
"You said no hayride; no haunted house, Heidi."
"We'll shut them down. Our scare actors can walk through the main area after 7 PM when most of the young families have left an-"
"The killer was a masked man... Did you forget that part? You can't be serious? He cuts you short, irritation ever-present in his tone.
"I am," you snip.
"Unbelievable. He slumps down in his seat, pitching his head back; mumbling in vexation yet again.
"Jim... You need to understand that I'm playing nice because you and I are best friends. I have known you for thirty-four years..."
"Best? And, Thirty-three," he huffs; resting a dart between his lips, striking a light.
"Well, that's rude... And sorry, thirty-three," you mumble. "But, you know as well as I do, the second this was no longer an active crime scene, I was given the green light for business as usual. All I had to do was stick to the eleven PM curfew just like everyone else."
"Heidi-"
"I'm working with you, Jim. Why aren't you working with me?"
He crosses his arms tightly across his chest, yielding his gaze to the window once more. You can see that he wants to tell you off. If you were anyone else, he probably would.
"I will personally pay for security, Ji-"
"Fine!" He shouts; tossing his hands up in defeat. "Where the hell is your husband by the way?"
"I don't know where Alex is. He's your partner, Hop. Aren't you supposed to know?" You challenge; taking your paper off his hands. "So, we're on for tonight?"
"You're killin' me, Jones," he murmurs.
"That a yes?"
"Yes," he bemoans through his exhales; two steady streams of smoke pouring through his nostrils. Hopper stamps out his cigarette dramatically as he shoots you a side-eye. "I'll send a few cars over at sunset. And, we may be best friends; but, you are at the very top of my shit list."
"Thank you," you beam; quickly reaching for your phone and schedule, mentally preparing yourself to call back all the staff you called off.
"Like you said, Heidi... You can do whatever you want," he clips as he slides his arms into his leather sheriff's jacket. "You're just playin' nice," Hopper mocks your tone; eyes, slicing in your direction.
"You pushed me," you chuckle; gliding your finger along the row of names to call.
"Bullshit."
You give him a sweet smile; making him look back at you annoyedly.
"What?" He scoffs.
"Nothin' Hop. I appreciate you helping me out. I just wanted your support on all this-"
"I support none of this!" He clamors; fishing for another cigarette. "Just so you are aware."
"Nothing is going to happen," you assure; glancing at the first name on the list. Billy Hargrove. "Can I walk you out?"
"Why are you tryin' to be sweet to me now, Jones," he backchats; trudging toward the exit.
"That's what best friends do, Jim," you chuckle; taking the lead, drawing the door open for him. "Plus, I need to talk to the grounds crew." He gives you a little nod, stepping into the hallway.
"Seven nights, Jones..."
"Seven nights of frights, Hop. Then, we're on to Christmas trees."
"What about Thanksgiving?"
"Nobody gives a shit about that," you breathe, making Jim chuckle as you tug open the front door.
Leaves roll across the porch; a crisp fall chill drifting through the air. Hopper's right. We have seven nights... Seven nights to avoid another disaster. Seven nights to make up for the financial hit we already took. Seven nights to prove that that was a fuckin' fluke.
"She works here?" Hopper questions; pointing his lit cigarette toward the barn. The two of you watch as a leggy brunette wanders up the hill. "What about those two over there?" He gestures in the opposite direction; the pair of you watching as a couple disappears, heading toward the woods. "Welp. Looks like people are already comin' in unaccounted for," he grunts. "That one's Heather Holloway, by the way. No way she could have done it. And, those two. That's-"
"Nancy and Jonathan," you finish his sentence, watching as they change course; hiking toward the haunted house.
"Tighten your ship, Jones," he warns; flicking his cigarette butt to the pavement. Heather rounds the corner, disappearing inside as you try your best to mask the emotions.
"You doin' okay, Heidi?" Jim queries; making your stomach sink.
"Mhmm... Just trying to think of ways to keep that from happening," you subsist; flicking your eyes back in his path.
"I'll send over a car to sit at the gate, Heidi," he gripes; climbing back into his patrol truck.
"Thank you, Hop." You shout; walking back inside. "Seven days!"
"Can't come soon enough, Jones."

Heather's POV:
"Billy? Billy Hargrove!" You sing, breathily.
There's a rustling aloft, the shuffling of work boots against the weathered wooden floor. "Holloway? That you, sweetheart?" He croons; voice reverberating through the airy space.
Fuck... That voice.
"Hey, Bills." You walk across the creaky foundation, following the sound of his voice. Grabbing the rungs of the ladder, you look up. The warm sun pours through the little window, limiting your view.
"I'll be down there in a sec."
"I can come up," you smile; climbing carefully up the old loft ladder.
"Be careful, sweetheart. This barn is old as shit."
There he is. You rise into the loft, trying your best to fight your smile as you take him in; Billy's blonde curls disheveled; a well-loved white tee and blue jeans practically painted on his frame, hugging him in all the right places.
He looks different... Better even. I mean, don't get me wrong, seeing Billy in red swim trunks was a sight to see; but, this is next level... You let out a dizzy giggle; cheeks pinched pink.
He turns around, meeting your gaze; his blue sparkling eyes set on yours. Billy wipes his arm across his brow, rubbing out a lick of sweat.
"Well, shit. You're prettier every time I see you, Holloway," he flirts; grabbing a hay bale by the strings; muscles flexing tight as he drops it to the bottom floor. "I got two more. Then, I can take a break. Alright?"
"Want some help?" You ask, sweetly. He lifts an eyebrow in your direction, chuckling lightly.
"It's like fifty pounds, Heather. And, dressed like that? You look too good for this shit." He gives you a cheeky wink before lobbing another bale. "Whatcha doin' here? I thought you had class."
"You don't wanna see me?" You sigh; putting on your best puppy dog eyes. He shakes his head and laughs; finishing off his job, the last bale landing with a thud.
"We both know that's not true."
"It's Monday, Bills. I don't have classes on Monday."
"Damn," he grumbles in exhaustion; grabbing a seat close by. You slide to his side, making his smile spread wider. "There's been so much goin' on here I lost track," he softens his tone; eyes falling to your glossed lips, nipping his own.
"That why you're not textin' me back, Bills?" You whisper.
Billy matches your gaze, making your heart race. "I'd never ignore you, Heather."
"Never?"
"I thought we were casual, Holloway," he teases. "You don't have a couple guys at ISU takin' up your time-"
"No. I do," you taunt, cutting him short. Billy gives you a little scowl; scrunching his nose. "Jealous, Hargrove?"
"Nah." You rest your hand on his thigh, leaning in slightly; letting it glide a little higher. He lets out a gravelly laugh, throwing his gaze down to his body as he slips off his work gloves. "I'm pretty dirty, Heather. You sure?"
"I don't give a shit about that, Bills."
"Get over here," he rasps.
You sling your thigh over, following Billy's lead as he takes hold of your hips. He guides you down onto his lap, eyes traveling slowly up your body before landing on yours.
"A little bit," he mumbles.
"A little bit, what?"
He looks away, dimples popping in his cheeks. "Jealous. Yeah... Sure. I'm a little jealous, Heather. I can't lie."
Your tongue pokes through your smile as you take in his words. Billy's hands roam your curves, circling your ass.
"Why do you care anyway, Heather?"
"Got a little jealous myself, Bills."
"I missed you, Heather."
"I missed you too, Billy," you whisper; lessening the distance between the two of you.
Your hands rest lightly on his chiseled chest, taking in his familiar scent as your eyes follow his silver chain. You let your fingers fall down his body; tracing over the thin cotton, feeling the ripples of his abs underneath.
You yank at his shirt. Billy quickly takes the hint, flicking off his hat before tearing off his shirt. His lips collide with yours; his rough hands wrapping around the back of your neck, towing you in. His tongue slips between your lips, swirling effortlessly with yours.
Billy's strong hands slide down your shoulders, pinching the collar of your jacket; drawing it back slightly. "This okay?"
"Mhmm," you pant between kisses. The jacket slips off your shoulders, falling to the barn floor. You save him the breath, twining your fingers around the spaghetti straps of your tank top. Peeling it off your body, bunching the material around your waist; breasts bouncing free. Billy, instantly takes a fistful for himself. Palming your skin as you start to grind on top of him. Billy leaves your lips, kissing you messily on your neck. You lean back, giving him better access.
It's been a while... A few weeks since the two of us had been together. I lied... There is no one else. No one but him. And, nothing about this is casual for me.
His hand dives between your thighs, rubbing your clothed clit through the fabric of your leggings.
I missed his hands too... All of the things they would do to me; driving deep inside, wrapping around my throat.
"Heather," he groans; making you release a hushed moan. "Missed me?"
"Yeah," you answer, needily; as your hand rests lightly on his cock, feeling his bulge through his Levis.
"Gonna need more than 'yeah', baby," he mutters between sloppy kisses, making you smile against his mouth.
You let your fingers work up his body again. He takes a heavy handle on your hips pressing the two of you together, moving with you as you work. You can feel the friction between your thighs, quenching just a fraction of your thirst; making you wetter by the second.
"I missed you so fucking much, Billy."
"That's a little better," he chuckles as he slaps your ass; the familiar sting left behind even through your clothes. "Wanna show me?"
You let out a lust-drunk laugh; easily working him out of his belt and jeans.  "I wanna make you feel good, Billy."
"Get on your knees for me, baby. Suck my fuckin' cock."
You suck off his bottom lip, nipping and tugging; pulling a moan from him as you sink to your knees, complying with his demand. You run your nails along the deep indentations of his v-lines, kissing the top of his cotton boxers; hooking your fingers underneath.
"I can't wait to have you in my mouth, Billy," you groan as you tug his boxers past his hips, letting his dick spring free. "Looks like someone missed me," you whisper against his swollen cock; precum leaking from the tip.
He looks down at you; his light eyes, hooded, framed with inky black lashes. They flutter wildly as you glide your tongue along his head, collecting him on your tongue.
"Of course I did," he grunts; raising his hand toward you. Billy glides his rough finger along your jaw, drawing his tongue along his bottom lip. "No one sucks cock like you, Heather. You know that," he rasps. "Open up." Billy slips his thumb into your mouth, pressing down your tongue; spit seeping slightly out of the corners of your lips instantly.
He stands over you; jeans gathered around his feet, work boots still on as he holds his thick cock by the base. You relax yourself, moaning softly as you take Billy in your mouth. Swiftly reminded of his size as you seize as much as you can, gagging slightly as he pushes himself against the back of your throat.
"Fuck, baby," he whines; tossing his head back as your wrap your lips around his length. "Feels so good."
Praise flows freely from his parted lips as he lets you have your way with him; bobbing back and forth quickly, pushing yourself to your limit.
You sink on your knees, letting out a drawn-out groan on his cock as your throbbing pussy lands on the toe of his boot. You start to wind your hips, sucking as you grind. Billy takes notice; eyes rolling back; head, tilting to the ceiling. "God damn. I missed you," he moans a little louder.
You lick a stripe up his fat cock, swirling your tongue around his head as you continue to ride his boot; feeling your pleasure spurring between your thighs. Your brows knit tightly; looking up at him desperately.
"You gonna cum, baby," he mumbles; raking his fingers into your hair; taking hold of the back of your head. You nod, gagging on his dick in the process; tears rolling down your cheeks as you feel the knot in your stomach coil tight. "Shit..." He bites his bottom lip, doing his best to hold back his pleasure. "Me too."
You feel the chill of your slick between your thighs, surely wetting the toe of Billy's leather boot as you drip with arousal.
"Bet that pussy's so wet for me," he pants. "Cum for me. Huh? Cum for daddy."
Your orgasm overtakes your body, thighs trembling uncontrollably as your pussy flutters; muffled cries around his cock as he takes control, bucking into your mouth. "So close, Heather. Shit." Your body relaxes; eyes, rolling back in your head at the sound of his pleasure.
You lock eyes with Billy as he fights to keep his open; nails running up his legs. You sink them into his thick thighs causing him to suck in a breath. You feel his dick throb on your tongue. Yes. His muscles clench under your grasp; fingers pulling at your strands.
Billy moans your name, lowly; drawing out quickly. You shut your eyes, pressing your breasts together; as ropes of cum hit your tongue and tits.
"Mmm..." You hum; gliding a finger between your breasts, cleaning up some of the mess, taking it between your lips.
"Now you're just showin' off," he huffs; reaching for you hastily, pulling you off the floor and into his strong arms. You tip your forehead against his, scratching your nails into his curls; drawing him to your lips again.
"Billy? You in here?"
Your eyes widen on his. Billy matches your gaze; holding back a laugh, completely unbothered. "Shh..." He cautions you nonetheless. You button your lips shut, silencing yourself with your mouth against his. "Come over tonight," he whispers against your kiss.
"I can't. I have volleyball practice."
"No..." He mumbles; brushing his plump lips against yours. "So, you came here just to talk to me, Holloway?"
You let out a breathy laugh, completely caught in the act. "Pretty full of yourself, Hargrove?"
"Well, did ya?" He smiles; nibbling on your bottom lip.
"Billy!" You hear her call again.
"Be down in a second," he shouts.
"I need to talk to you in my office before you head out for the night. Okay?"
"Yup. Sounds good, Heidi. I'll be up there in a bit."
You grab his cheeks, forcing his attention back on yours as you continue your conversation. "I did. I came here for you."
"Well, shit." A smile pulls on his lips as his eyes fall down your body. "When can I see you next, Holloway?"
"Text me back."
"I will. I will. I promise," he chuckles, softly. "Hey. Wanna go to a party?"
"Duh," you giggle, excitedly. "When?"
"Thursday... You gonna dress up for me?"
"Of course. I'd love to, Bills."
"Mmm... Can't wait."
Romeo's Diner, Hawkins...
Thalia's POV
"Tonight? They're already reopening?" You hear his deep voice from behind the counter.
Eddie Munson...
You peek over at the big clock hanging on the wall. Right on time.
It's Tuesday, which means Eddie just finished his shift at Frank's Auto Shop. He's here for his usual... Coffee; two creams, one sugar, and a slice of pie. Peach is his favorite; apple, a close second, more sentimental than anything else.
Eddie used to come here every Friday with his Uncle. Both of them ordered the same thing. Coffee and pie. Wayne would get the apple and Eddie the peach. They'd sit for hours sometimes; Eddie, always talking dramatically with his hands. Wayne shaking his head in bewilderment at Eddie's wild tales, cherishing every moment.
The Munsons weren't exactly the community's favorite family; but, they didn't care. The two of them were happy. And, that's all that mattered.
Wayne Munson was a kind man. He had a smile that warmed your heart. You knew he didn't have a lot of money; but, he always made sure to tip you a little extra.
Two years ago he got sick. You watched as he slowly deteriorated. Every week, his already slim form began to waste away into an empty shell of a man. The one thing that remained the same was his smile. It never changed; but, Eddie's did.
And then he was gone.
Eddie stopped coming to the diner for a few months after his Uncle's death. Every time the bell would jingle you would check to see if he had finally come back.
Curiosity got the better of you, wanting to know if he was safe; wanting to know if he was okay.
You followed him, steering just close enough that you wouldn't lose him. Eddie drove with his windows down, blasting Johnny Cash. Wayne's favorite. He rode all the way to Lover's Lake, parking in a shitty little parking lot; overgrown with weeds.
Eddie walked out to the boat launch, stepping onto the rickety dock; wandering to the end before taking a seat. He stayed there for hours, just sitting in silence.
I could see he was okay... But, I knew he wasn't alright.
When Eddie returned to the diner, he plopped down in their normal booth and ordered his usual. His visits became more routine. Still, every Friday; but, also in between his shifts or simply on the days he was missing Wayne a little more.
You didn't mind. Seeing Eddie was something you always looked forward to. Hoping it might be the day when he would see you as more than just a waitress at the dingy local dive.
You watch as he tilts back against the bright red booth, spreading his legs widely. His familiar leather jacket lies in the spot next to him. He runs a dirty hand over his face, an audible groan escaping his plush lips as he presses the phone to his ear.
"I just think it's a little insensitive, given everything that just happened." His usual warm tone is ridden with frustration. Something's wrong. "Sure..." He grumbles as he runs his hands over his tired eyes. "I need the money, Heidi. I'll be there." Eddie ends the call swiftly, tossing the phone on the table.
You reach behind your back, tugging the strings of your checkered apron a little tighter, smoothing out the wrinkles in the front before heading his way with a fresh pot of coffee.
"Eddie, hey!" You greet him with a warm smile.
His biceps flex against the fabric of his gray mechanic's shirt; Munson embroidered in cursive on the front pocket. A white tank top covered in grease fits firmly against his torso. Eddie's hair is drawn back in a low messy bun; his big brown eyes incapable of cloaking any emotion.
"Thalia," he greets you simply; forcing a small smile that doesn't quite meet his eyes.
"Umm... I have your coffee. Freshly made," you chirp.
"Thank you, darlin'." He avoids your gaze as he looks down at his greased-covered hands. You notice his fingers tapping rapidly; his rings, clicking against the hard tabletop.
"Eddie..." You ask, softly; pouring his cup of coffee, watching as the steam rises into the air. "Are you okay?"
Eddie finally meets your gape, doing his best to hold back tears. His eyes are red; dark bags painted underneath. He looks like he hasn't slept in days. After everything that happened with Chrissy, I'm sure he didn't.
"Not really."
You take a seat across from him, reaching for the center caddy; plucking out two plastic cream cups, and a packet of white sugar, dumping the contents inside. "I'm sorry," you whisper; sliding the mug a little closer to him.
"Thank you... How did you know I take my coffee this way?" He asks, curiously; his hardened exterior softening slightly.
"Been workin' here since I was fourteen," you smile. "You're a creature of habit, Eddie Munson."
"That I am," he mumbles; swirling the metal spoon in his cup, before taking it to his lips.
Eddie sips slowly, shutting his eyes. You rise to your feet, bellying up to the bar; grabbing the pie off Romeo's hands before he can even ding the bell, resting it in front of Eddie. His eyes open, looking at the dessert before he looks at you. This simple act of kindness making his sleepy eyes glass with tears.
"What's goin' on, Eddie?"
He draws a deep laborious breath, pressing it out slowly.
"Well," he mutters, "Jones is openin' up tonight... Again... Already," he pushes the word out before taking another sip. "It's all about money. Fuckin' greed. I thought that Heidi was above that; but, she's just as bad as the rest of 'em. This town is fuckin' disgusting."
"I'm sorry about Chrissy."
His Adam's apple bobs; eyes fluttering at the sound of her name. Eddie's nostrils flare as his tears threaten to break free. "Chrissy Cunningham was a good person. She was a friend of mine... Chriss meant somethin' to me. I heard her, Thalia... I called her right before she died. I heard her final words. She was so fuckin' scared," he rattles. Eddie lifts the collar of his shirt, quickly brushing the tears away.
"That's awful, Eds. Chrissy was always so sweet. I only had a few classes with her, and we never talked; but, I saw the way she treated others."
"You went to Hawkins High School, Thalia?" He asks as he sinks his fork into his pie.
"Yeah," you answer, cheeks reddening with embarrassment. There was a part of you always hoping that he saw you in some way or another; this clearly was not the case. "I was homeschooled until freshman year."
"Did we have classes together-"
"Mhmm..." You buzz; taking a cup for coffee as well. "Mrs. O'Donnell's class."
"Oh, shit," he sneers. "Yeah, I blocked that shit outta my memory... I can't believe I never noticed you."
You bite your lips, trying to think of what to say next.
"I'm sorry, Thalia," he respires. "I'm crazy to have missed you."
You draw your lips to the side, holding back a nervous smile. "I wasn't exactly the Queen of Hawkins High or popular in the slightest."
"Neither was I," he snorts; swirling a sugared peach in his melted cream, before taking it between his lips.
The little bell tinkles overhead. You glance over your shoulder, watching as Nancy and Jonathan walk in; creatures of habit themselves. It's Monday... Which means they'll sit in the diner for hours, draining coffee while they work on stuff for the news station.
You turn your attention back to Eddie. "Well, sorry to take up so much of your time, Eddie. I know you usually like to unwind when you come in here."
"Don't apologize, Thalia. It was nice getting to know you." Your stomach floods with butterflies as you take in his words; Eddie, using a deep tone he's never used before. There's a slight sparkle behind his pensive eyes that wasn't there before too.
"You as well. Talk to you soon?" You ask, hopefully.
"Yeah... Um... Here." Eddie reaches for a little napkin scratching down a note, passing it your way. "Umm... Text me? Maybe we can get together. I could take you out if you'd like?"
You bite your lip, screaming internally as you stuff it into your pocket. "I'd like that a lot," you manage; keeping your elation at the proper level. "I'll text you later." You turn around quickly, beaming from ear to ear as you walk over to Nancy and Jonathan.
Her eyes flash up, catching Eddie across the way. She whispers to Jonathan who turns around as well.
"Hey, you two. What can I get you?"
"Coffee," she answers, hastily; before moving closer. "Did you get to talk to Eddie about Chrissy at all?"
You look back at Eddie, finishing the last bits of his pie; a slightly different man than when he walked in. He looks happier. I'm not gonna let Nancy ruin that. She takes out a pen and paper, looking at you hopefully as she waits for a response.
"Leave Eddie alone." The words leave your lips quietly; enough venom laced in your tone to make even Nancy Wheeler shift in her seat.
"Oh... Okay." She fumbles over her words, slipping her notebook and pen away.
You hear the clinking of Eddie's chains as he walks toward the door. He looks at you, giving you a smile.

Heidi's POV:
You stand at the window, staring out onto the field at the barn in the distance; watching as the sun sinks behind it. Reds and oranges wash the sky, night closing in around you.
There's a steady flow of cars spilling into the parking lot again, business as usual. As Hopper promised, a heavy police presence is here as well; red and blue lights flickering in the distance.
A few guests walk past the office, smiling and laughing. Guilt creeps in almost immediately... I'm not totally heartless... I haven't forgotten what I saw. I can't imagine what the families think of me; opening the doors so soon after.
Greedy. Money hungry. Heartless.
And, those aren't the only terrible things I am.
I hate myself for going in there after him... I tried my best to let it go; but, when she didn't come out of that barn I knew exactly what they were doing.
I could hear their little whispers. Heather's breathy giggle made me physically ill. It's absolutely classless for him to do that here. This is his fucking job... He's on the clock.
That's not why I was upset.
Every fiber of my being wished that it was me.
"Knock. Knock," he rasps; you hear his fist rap against the door, making your heart race. Stop, Heidi... I talk to him every morning, every afternoon; late at night when he's shuffling out to his Camaro after a long day. He was probably doing this all along... with her. They're most likely together.
I've never had to see it before though. Ignorance is bliss.
"Heidi? You in there?" Billy tries again.
"Yeah. Umm, yeah. Come in."
"So, we openin' or what?" He meets your watch, smiling at you happily. You purse your lips; masking your feelings as you try your best to match his.
"Y-Yeah," you force the word past your lips.
He narrows his gaze on yours. "Everything okay, Mrs. Jones?"
Mrs. Jones?
You cover your face slightly; turning away from him as you walk toward your desk. Billy lowers himself in a chair; you, taking the one across from him. A silent conversation shared between the two of you.
He knows.

Chapter IV - The Rendezous
Heidi's POV:
Hawkins Pool, Summer 2002...
Flashback...
"Cassie," Billy chuckles, lightly.
"Mhmm," she peeps; continuing her little dance on the pool's edge, as focused as a five-year-old could be after an hour-long lesson; listening to her favorite song blare over the speakers.
"If you don't focus. I'm gonna have to turn down the music. Alright?" He smiles; tousling her brunette mop of curls.
"I think we're done, Coach Billy."
"You're not havin' fun?" He pouts; looking down at her sadly.
"Ew. You're bad at that," she giggles. "Gotta go like this." She shows him her best pouty face as well.
"I'll remember that for next time. One more, Cass. Then we're done," he assures. "Mom said, 'If you listen really well she'll take you to Scoops'.
"Did I?" You ask; lowering your sunglasses on your nose.
"Mhmm... And I think I'll join ya. 'Cause it's hot as shi-" He stops himself, his beautiful blue eyes broadening as he catches himself.
"Were you gonna swear, Coach Billy?"
"Me?" He scoffs; looking down in her direction with his hands on his hips. "Never. Now stop stallin'."
"Fine." She mimics his stance, poking her tongue out at him; making him gasp.
"Alright. Alright. Acceleration Drill. You remember?"
"'Course," she huffs; starting her little dance again as a new tune starts.
"Cass..."
"Ugh. Sorry, Coach," she soughs.
"Alright. Eleven position." She lifts her tiny arms high, mimicking Billy; her little tummy rounded in her yellow swimsuit. "Good work. Now, this is how we start. What do we do next?"
"Push."
"You got it," he beams. "Then?"
"Two dolphins."
"Yup. Two dolphin kicks. On the third, bend your elbows and throw the water to your-"
"Piggies."
"Bingo... Throw the water to your toes and sneak back to eleven. Great job, Cass. So, I'm gonna go first, then you. Alright?" She nods merrily in response, taking a seat on the fringe of the pool as Billy dives in. He breaks the surface, paddling toward her with a smile. "Count me down?"
"Three, two, one; go!" She squeals in delight. Billy presses off the wall effortlessly, moving through the water while Cassie counts aloud.
He makes his way back to her, keeping pace; focusing more on showing off his form than beating his last lap. He pops his head out of the water, chuckling as he brushes the water from his face. "It's not a race, Cass. Not yet at least. Okay?"
Cassie jumps high, tucking her legs into a cannonball; hitting the water, making barely a splash. "Stinker," Billy teases; wiping the pool water from his eyes. "Alright. You ready, Jones?"
"Mhmm."
"Three, two, one; go!"
Cassie pushes off the wall, kicking as hard as her little body can; moving at a snail's pace compared to Billy. He cheers her on all the same, watching her carefully; coaching her along the way. She catches the other side, quickly returning where she started.
"Nice work, Cass!" He praises; reaching out for a high five. She smiles proudly, looking back at you. "You see that, mommy?"
"Of course. You're doin' amazing, baby."
The two of them bob to the ladder; Billy waiting behind, letting Cassie crawl out first.
"Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream!" She cheers, instantly; skipping toward the rack of towels.
Your focus shifts, knowing what will come next; eyes set on the edge as Billy grabs the rungs of the ladder. His muscles flex as he pulls himself from the pool.
He shakes out his blonde hair; eyes shut gently. You watch as the water falls down his body, the little trails flowing like rivers through the divets of his abs. His red swim trunks cling to his burly thighs, gripping them tightly; leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination. Nothing.
He smiles, coyly; making you blush. You look away, fast turning your attention to Cassie as she paws the water from her hair.
You can hear his steps nearing you; his presence this close, making your heart race a little faster.
"We still on for ice cream, Mrs. Jones?" He asks; eyes, setting on yours.
"Call me, Heidi, Billy. Please. You're making me feel old."
"Alright," he chuckles. "Heidi." Billy tries on your name. His low, dark voice sends a warmth across your body. "Are we still on for ice cream?"
Tumblr media
"Uhh... Mint Flare, Chocolate Pudding, and Oreo Dream," Cassie orders; nose pressed against the glass.
"And, I'll have U.S.S. Butterscotch. Billy, what do you want?" You smile; glancing back at him. He rumples his brows, shaking his head 'no'.
"That's not how this is working, Mrs. Jones." You widen your eyes playfully. "Heidi..." He corrects himself. "I can't let you buy my ice cream; but, thank you."
"A true gentleman," the worker gripes, completely unenthused that you're taking up her extra time with your little exchange.
"Billy, just tell Erica what you'd like," you sharpen your tone, playfully; handing her your credit card.
"Umm... Chocolate Pudding. Thanks." He stuffs his hands in his back pockets, digging his heel into the checkered floor. "Thanks, Heidi."
"Of course."
"Avery!" Cassie squeals; yanking you out of your daze. She runs over to their table, hugging her friend.
The two of you step to the side, waiting for your ice cream. You can feel his stare out of the corner of your eyes, sending tingles through your body; feelings that you haven't felt in years, bubbling to the surface.
He steps a little closer, moving aside for another family; brushing against you slightly; fingers grazing over the top of yours.
You look over your shoulder, watching as he notices the same thing; eyes working back up to yours. He's closer than expected; the smell of his rich cologne blurring your senses. You focus on the sound of his breathing, soft and slow as his fingers toy with yours ever so slightly.
"Here you are."
You're startled yet again, flinching as you're flung back into reality.
"Uh... Umm. Cass." You lift the cone, motioning for her to retrieve it.
"Can I sit with Avery? Please," she gives you a sweet smile.
"Y-Yeah, baby. We only have about fifteen minutes. Alright?" She nabs the ice cream, quickly turning on her heels; leaving the two of you alone.
"Wanna sit?"
"Yeah... Sorry about Cass," you sigh.
"We got ditched by a five-year-old," he shrugs and laughs.
"Mhmm... That we did, Coach Billy."
"Coach Billy?" He lifts a dark eyebrow. "We're gettin' fancy now. I'm gonna have to start callin' you Mrs. Jones again."
"Not necessary." You roll your eyes and smile.
Billy follows your lead as you walk past a row of tables to a booth. You glance to your side, watching as a smirk sets on Billy's lips.
He knows the two of you could have sat in any one of those; you, settling on a more private option, dismissing your rational mind. You slide in, moving to the middle; looking out for Cass. She grins back at you, Mint Flare a mess on her chubby cheeks.
"This was a great idea, Heidi," Billy teases; sinking into the booth. He moves a little closer, not too close; not where I want him to be.
"Mhmm," you give him an airy laugh.
He relaxes into the seat slightly; thighs widening. There it is. You feel the warmth on his skin against your bare leg; his knee resting lightly against yours. Contact. You don't draw away, making a smile stretches across his rosy lips.
Your untouched ice cream rolls over your fingers landing in a little puddle on the table. You draw the sugar cone to your lips, gliding your tongue across the melted butterscotch.
"Good?" He rasps.
"Delicious," you smile before taking another lick.
"Looks like it." He smirks; his hooded stare lost on your mouth, waiting for you to do it again.
"So, Billy... Are you excited to get back to California?"
"I'm not," he winces; looking at you shamefully.
"You're not what?"
"Goin'." The word barely clears is lips.
"Why?"
"Um..." He shifts nervously in his seat, pulling farther away. No.
"If you're not comfortable telling me, Billy, you don't have to-"
"I had the scores and grades to get there; but, when I got there, I just fell apart," he blurts; cutting you off.
"I'm sorry..."
"It's alright. My childhood was tough. I didn't have anyone who cared about me like you care about Cass and Trent. Not even close. Nobody reading with me; makin' sure I wasn't cheating. And, I know I'm making excuses for myself; but, I tried. No matter how many tutoring sessions I went to or office hours I attended it just wasn't enough..."
"Billy... Truly, I'm so sorry."
"Turns out you need to be more than a good baseball player to go to college... News to me."
"Are you gonna go back? No judgment. Just curious."
"I don't really know," he sighs; sadness driven in his tone. Billy gives you a soft smile. "Thanks for hearin' my sob story, Heidi."
"Thanks for telling me."
"You're easy to talk to. You know that?  You're the only person who knows. So, keep my secret for me?"
"I will. I promise... Well, Coach Billy. If you ever want a job on a farm, just let me know," you smile.
"Can't really imagine myself doin' that," he scoffs; running his fingers through his freshly dried curls.
"You might like it." You draw the ice cream to your lips again. "Farm work would look good on you, Billy." He smiles brightly, taking in your compliment.
"So, Officer Jonsie's not a farm work kinda guy?" He asks passively; watching intently as you clean the sweet cream off your bottom lip.
"No... I mean it was his family's. When his dad passed she handed it down to Alex. Alex didn't want to leave the force. He wanted nothing to do with it. He just wanted to sell the land for some fast cash. I didn't... It means too much to me. That was my first job-"
"Were you a monster?" He bullies.
"No," you chuckle. "I just sold concessions. That's actually where I met Alex; "Officer Jonsie"."
"Shit... So you run that whole thing by yourself?"
"I do pretty much everything by myself," you answer simply. He cocks his head to the side, putting the pieces together.
"That sounds like a lotta work, Heidi."
"It is... But, I have great kids. And, my mom moved in with us when my dad died so I have the extra help."
"Do you ever relax?"
"I don't think I've relaxed in years, Billy," you sigh.
"Well, gotta get you in the water too then. You'd love it; very relaxing.
You drop your head, shaking it as you dismiss the thought. "I could never get in a pool with you, Billy," you snort through a laugh.
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" His mouth falls open in faux disgust as he throws his arm on the back of the booth.
"I haven't put on a swimsuit in five years. And, I'm definitely not going to put on a swimsuit in front of someone who has washboard frickin' abs. No thanks."
The tip of his rough finger brushes lightly against your shoulder, making goosebumps run down your arms; the added connection lighting you on fire.
"Why?" He asks. You can tell from his stare what he'll say next if you push this conversation any further...
Fuck... I wanna hear it.
"Nobody wants to see that," you groan, laughing lightly.
He looks at you in bewilderment; his strong hand squeezing your shoulder. "You're joking?"
You bite your cheek, holding back your smile as you relish the first morsel of praise you've had in years.
His hand skims along your arm as he returns it to his side. "I'd personally kill to see you in a swimsuit, Heidi."
Oh...
Shit.
Alright... Wait. You feel the loss of contact between the two of you, craving more.
"Stop," you flirt; slapping his thigh, keeping it in place. His eyes lower to your hand on his body. His cheeks are sunkissed from the pool deck; a light wash of freckles dusted across the bridge of his nose, even still you can see him blush. He bites his bottom lip as the wheels turn in his mind.
"You know, Heidi. If you ever wanted to relax; I could give you some private lessons if you'd like?" He softens his gaze. "You could put on your swimsuit again... Make my fuckin' day. That's for sure," he mumbles.
Make his day.
He wants to meet privately?
He's probably just being nice... Trying to make me feel better about myself; but, what if he isn't?
Your heart starts to thump at the thought of it; mind wandering in an instant. "Umm... I-" You stammer.
"Come to think of it, Heidi," he starts again, drawing you in deeper. "There's a good pool out at Motel 6 on Cornwallis."
Fuck.
You take a little breath, looking out at Cassie as a flood of questions pour in.
Is he bullshitting me?
How could he want me?
He's almost half my age.  I'm a mom... I'm married.  Why am I considering this?
You sit there silently, feeling the ice cream roll down your fingers again; landing on your thigh, as your mind spins slowly.
Billy grabs a napkin off the table, cleaning you up. His lust replaced with genuine concern as he searches for your eyes. "Heidi? I'm sorry if I made this weird. I love coachin' Cass. I hope I didn't fuck that up. I'm sorry if I misread-"
"You didn't," you cut him off breathlessly. "You didn't, Billy," you repeat yourself with a little more conviction as you meet his gaze.
"I didn't?" He asks, gently.
You shake your head no, watching as an unholy grin spreads on his face. Billy wraps his arm around the back of the booth again, leaning in a little closer. "Alright... Well, what do you say, Heidi? Eight o'clock?"
Later that night...
Tumblr media
You cut off the engine, looking to your left as you feel yourself at the crux between shame and desire. Billy's Camaro is parked at a distance, the sight of it making it all that more real. You glance down at your body; breasts pressed into lingerie you haven't worn in ages, a black satin dress hugging your curves.
Why did I wear this? Who am I kidding? What am I doing?
Heat rises behind your eyes, tears pricking at the corners. You snag a Kleenex from the center council, blotting your eyes.
The car clock switches to eight. Without thinking you thrust your hand into the passenger's seat, grabbing your overnight bag; jarring the door open before you can talk yourself out of it.
Your heels snap along the asphalt; eyes lowered as you stride through the building, heading hastily toward the elevator. "Good evening!" The receptionist sings as you blow past her; jamming your finger on the up button. You feel your stomach sink, blood draining from your face as you step into the lift.
I haven't thought this through... This hotel is so close to home. So many eyes on us. What if they recognize me? What if they know Alex?
You bury your head in your hands, feeling yourself in the throws of a panic attack.
DING.
The door floats open. All the noises roaring in your head falling to a hush. The door starts to close again. You reach out, batting at it; making it stop in a beat.
Alex doesn't want to be with me... He said it himself, more times than I can count. Remember? He was cheating on you, and he still is; even when he swore he wouldn't. 205... 207... You count the numbers as they rise. Even when he swore he would be a better father; a better husband, he couldn't. That's probably where he is right now, with her. Karen Wheeler... That cunt. Her with her white picket fence; mother of the year bullshit. It's all a sham. She was a bitch in high school and she's a bitch now. 215... 217...
220... You stand outside the door, staring at the number etched into the cheap plastic sign as you strain to slow your breathing.
I deserve to be happy; to feel wanted.
Closing your eyes you draw a deep breath; knuckles rapping against the wood. You can hear Billy's heavy feet on the other side.
The door fans open.
Before he can say an utterance you throw yourself into his arms; fingers raking through his hair, kissing him deeply. The air flees your lungs as he lifts you effortlessly, pushing you up against the wall.
"Fuck, Heidi," he mumbles. "You came. You look... Mmm... Fuck. You look so damn good," he pants between kisses as you pull at the buttons of his blood-red button-down.
Your heart pounds in your chest, as his broad body presses flush against yours; hips grinding with yours making you moan into your kiss. He's assertive; animalistic; hungry for your lips.
Billy draws away slightly, leaving you reaching for a breath; searching for him. He rests his forehead against yours staring deeply into your eyes. You can feel him trembling with excitement, that same adrenaline coursing through your veins.
"Fuck me," you whisper. "I-Is that okay? Do - Shit. Do you want that? Is that why you asked me here?"
"I thought you'd never ask."
Flashback ended...
"Is this about Heather?" He mumbles; crossing his arms across his strong chest.
You bite your cheek, feeling your emotion welling in your eyes. "You can't... Y-You," you stammer. "You can't just do that at work, Billy."
"Do what, Heidi?" He grunts. "Huh? I have an hour-long break... I only took twenty minutes and I went back to work. You gonna scold me for that?"
"No. Fuck, Billy! You know what I mean."
"I don't."
You grit your teeth, feeling a tear roll down your cheek. Billy's demeanor changes as he catches sight of it, softening his tone.
"I don't know what you mean, Heidi," he whispers; averting his gaze.
"Don't lie to me, Billy. I know what I heard..."
He nods slowly, taking in your words. "What do you want from me, Heidi?" He asks, defeatedly. "You can't expect me not to do anything with anyone else. You didn't want to be with me."
"That's not true, Billy... You know that's not true," you whimper.
"Then why aren't you?" He sharpens his tone, narrowing his piercing blue eyes on yours.
"Have you two been together for a while?"
"We hook up, Heidi. We have for years. And, that stopped the night that you showed up to the motel. You were the one that broke it off with me. And, you avoided the question, Heidi. Why aren't you with me? If you wanna be with me, why are you still in your pathetic fuckin' marriage? Huh?" He spits.
"Because, Billy..." You growl in frustration; banging your hands against the desk. "None of this shit is in my name... This farm is my life. It's how I make my money. Once Alex and I are done, everything I've worked for the last ten years is gone. How am I gonna support Cass and Trent? This is the Jones Family farms. Jones... Not to mention if he even got a sense that you and I were together, Billy. You'd be gone too. And, that's the last thing I want. So pardon me, if I need a few months to figure my shit out."
"You could have at least told me... He doesn't need to know, Heidi," he shouts; face reddening with irritation; fists clenched tightly.
"We were getting too sloppy, Billy. You know that... It's too much of a risk."
"You didn't even give me a chance to try, Heidi. You just iced me out." You see his eyes haze with tears, his jaw tightens; pushing those feelings down deep.
He's right... I'm just another person that let him down. But, I knew he could talk me out of anything...  I thought it was my only option at the time.
"Heidi... I appreciate this job more than I can say. After everything that happened with school, this is exactly what I needed. But, what I wanted was to be closer to you."
"Me too."
"It's been hard... Watchin' you walk around like what we had was nothing; seeing you with Alex-"
"I'm just playin' nice, Billy... Nothing more," you interject. "I either need to get him to sign this place over to me. Or, buy it outright from his mom. I really needed this season to go well, Billy and after everything that happened this past weekend, I've already lost so much."
"Well, Heidi, It doesn't make it any easier for me."
"I know... Billy, I'm sorry."
He nods slowly; his reflective eyes lost in thought.
"Billy, I don't expect your life to stop; but, just don't do it in front of me. Okay?" Your voice is barely audible; ridden with sadness.
"Well, if you would have just told me what was goin' on -"
"I know... I messed up, Billy."
"I'm sorry you heard that, Heidi," he rasps.
"You said 'you two have been hooking up for years'... Do you like her?" You ask, timidly.
"'Course I do, Heidi. Heather means a lot to me." His words hit you like a shot to the heart. "It's casual. Just sex."
"Anybody else?"
"Heidi..." Billy cautions.
"Billy..."
"Yeah." He throws his gaze away. As much as it hurts to hear... He's being honest with me now. What we had was something. It was everything; far beyond sex.
I'm jealous...
Billy should be mine. I want to be his. I want to know that he missed me; if what we had was as good as I thought it was, if I was better.
I need to know.
Grabbing the collar of your blazer you pull it off your shoulders, exposing your satin top; red lace peeking out. His favorite.
Billy furrows his brows in confusion; his perplexed-state quickly fading as he sees the look in your stare.
"Thought we were gettin' too messy, Heidi?" He groans; sinking in his seat slightly, making himself a little more comfortable.
"Were they as good as me, Billy?" You purr as you lean in closer. He lets out a sinful laugh; snatching a dart from behind his ear.
"What do you think?" Billy mumbles as he blazes his cigarette, pulling a deep inhale. Smoke pours from his mouth as he runs his tongue along his pouty bottom lip. "I've never had anyone as good as you, baby. Never."
Baby... You close your eyes, drinking in his words as memories come pouring in.
"What about you, Heidi? Have you been with anyone but me?"
"No," you respire; eyes drifting open.
"You think about it?" He smirks; pinching his blue jeans, adjusting slightly.
You bite your lip and smile. "Every night."
"Every night?"
"Mhmm..."
"No one's been takin' care of you?" He asks, darkly as he pushes himself out of his chair.
"Just me." Your eyes follow him as he walks around the desk; boots shuffling along the floor.
"Just me. Huh?" He echoes.
You nod as he grips the armrests of your swivel chair, jarring you closer. You can see the print of Billy's long, thick cock; pressing against his jeans.
"I'm gonna take care of you, Heidi. And, you're gonna let me." He takes hold of your chin with a heavy hand.
"We gotta be careful, Billy. I can't-"
"I'm gonna take care of you," he cuts; using his grasp to lift you out of your seat and into his arms. "When I say I'm gonna take care of you, Heidi, I mean it. I'm gonna be careful. You don't need to worry about me. I got you. Alright?"
"Okay, Bi-" He steals your words, claiming your lips with his. Billy catches your moan in his mouth, answering with his own.
You let out a little gasp as he lifts you, bringing you closer. "I missed you... Fuck, Heidi," he mutters.
"I missed you too, Billy." You hold on tight as Billy swipes his palm across the desk; making the items tumble to the floor. He lays you on top; lips, barely losing contact, kissing you roughly.
Your hands drift down his chest, slipping under the hem of his shirt; meeting his warm tight skin just above his belt buckle. You rake your hands back up, feeling his muscles; even more pronounced than before; resting on his chest feeling his heart pound underneath. You dig your nails into his skin making him hiss out a breath.
Billy reaches for the bottom of your silk top, lifting it up; flipping back the cups of your bra. He squeezes your tits, shoving them together. "Jesus fuck, Heidi," he mutters; locking down on your nipple, swirling and flicking, leaving you a whimpering mess below him.
"You look good... So fuckin' good," he babbles; running two thick fingers between your thighs, shifting under your skirt; grazing over your panties. "How are you so wet?" He growls.
"Please," you whimper, desperate for more.
"Want me to eat your pussy, baby? Hmm? Bend you over this desk?"
"Yes, Billy. Fuck," you sob.
He lowers himself between your legs, looping his arms under your thighs; pulling you toward his face. You slink your hands down your body, pinching your skirt; pulling it around your hips as Billy tugs your panties over your curves; falling to the floor.
He spreads your legs, kissing you deeply; marking you in a way that'll surely leave a bruise, teasing you as his digits slip closer.
You take a grip on his sandy-blonde mullet, pulling him nearer as you buck your hips, craving more friction between the two of you. Billy breathes warmly against your clit making you melt into the table.
"Billy-" You beg, your words turning into a cry as he plunges his tongue deeply; drawing out slow, licking a line to your clit that has your body reeling.
He sucks your bud, releasing you with a pop. Doing it again and again, leaving your thighs quaking uncontrollably. He brushes his tongue side to side on your clit, making you see stars.
Billy slings your legs over his broad shoulders, working deeper than before. You grip the edge of the desk, teeth clenched; muscles firing hot as you hold back your cries of pleasure. "Cum for me..." He grunts; driving his fingers into you as you nod rapidly. "Can ya?"
"Y-Yeah," you shudder; chasing your climax as he pounds into your dripping cunt.
"Do it." Billy curls his fingers inside of you; tension, snapping as you cry out his name. "Fuck... Say it again. Say my name again," he moans; looking down at you in a drunken haze as he works you through your orgasm.
"Billy," you breathe as he slips between your legs, cleaning the mess he made.
"Tastes so fuckin' good," he mumbles. Before you can even think straight you hear the clinking of his belt and the splaying of a zipper. "Need to be inside you," he mutters.
You let out a gasp as he stuffs his cock in your pussy; hips flush with your ass, balls deep; pushing even further. "B-Billy..." You whimper; tears running down your cheeks as you feel the pressure you've been missing.
"Tell me what you we're thinkin' about last night, Heidi. Gonna fuck you just like that." He brushes your tears away with his thumbs as he kisses your lips; dick buried deep. "Mmm... Heidi, this pussy was made for me."
BANG. BANG. "Hey, Heidi. You in there?" Alex booms behind the door causing the two of you to freeze. Billy snares your hips, holding you in place.
"Can you go out the window?" You whisper.
"Of course." He rolls his hips slowly, not wanting to stop. "Meet me tonight..."
"I c-can't. My mom is out of town until Thursday-" You whisper, biting back a moan.
"Thursday it is," he sighs; cupping your breast in his hand. He leans down, giving you a soft bite; eyes focused on yours. You watch as the shadow shifts underneath the door; Alex, walking away. Billy notices his leaving as well, starting right where he left off.
"Billy, you said you were gonna take-"
"Care of you," he finishes your statement. "Aren't I?"
"Billy..."
"I promise; but, can you blame me?" He groans; pulling out reluctantly; eyes, rolling back at the feeling. "Thursday..."
"I promise."
"I knocked. You said 'she was in there'?" Alex darkens the door again, talking to someone.
Billy plucks your panties off the floor, stuffing them into his back pocket; giving you a wink. He slips out the window as you turn on your heels, grabbing the phone in an attempt to look busy.
Alex meets your eyes, ending a call of his own. You gesture toward yours, giving him a silent apology.
"It's okay. Just wanted to let you know we have a few squad cars out front," he whispers.
You give him a warm smile and a nod. Alex strides out the door, into the dark hallway; leaving you alone again.
BUZZ.

Valentine's Day 2023 headcanons 1
Friendly reminder that English is not my first language. You can check my Masterlists both in English and Polish here.
Consider supporting me on Ko-fi.
Other headcanons from this series can be found here.
Tumblr media
Vil Schoenheit
• Valentine's Day with Vil was planned long before anyone else thought about it. At least on his part. That's why you were surprised how far in advance he discussed them with you. An actor's job requires him to anticipate many things in advance to be able to create a schedule.
• You were very excited about your trip to the spa. You were counting down the days until it arrived. That's why when Vil's manager announced over the phone that he had to show up to record a commercial on the day of his departure, you felt tears gathering in the corners of your eyes. Schoenheit just announced loudly that he had more important things to worry about and took your suitcase. You didn't think he'd leave his favourite potato alone, did you? You don't believe in him enough...
• Of course, a round after all beauty treatments was mandatory. Masks, massages and much more.
• Photos, photos and more photos. He has to make sure that his Magicam account doesn't die during your weekend trip. If you don't feel like being there, he will understand but he will still take a selfie with you and save it in his private gallery.
• You weren't entirely sure if he would like your gift. You bought a new tiara for him because the old one was very damaged and worn. You spent almost all of your savings at Sam's on it. One look at Vil was enough to let you know you'd found the right thing. He hasn't been separated from it since then.
Tumblr media
Riddle Rosehearts
• Rule 958 of the Queen of Hearts says that if you have a significant other, you should spend Valentine's Day with them. Riddle, of course, has read all of them and also intends to adapt to this particular one. But know that if it wasn't a rule, he would still spend the day with you.
• You knew perfectly well that you would spend Valentine's Day together, so you asked Trey in advance to teach you how to make a strawberry tart. On Valentine's Day, Riddle received a handmade and freshly baked cake from you.
• The picnic took up most of the day. You had to admit that the place by the small river was nice. You were even more happy that the boy took care of Grim during this time. Under the watchful eye of the people of Heartslabyul, there was no way he could make any mischief while you were gone.
• During the picnic, you found some hedgehogs that Ace was supposed to take care of. Apparently they escaped him. Riddle promised to refrain from using his special spell for your sake for the time being.
• He found the sight of you with the hedgehogs extremely cute. Especially your smile as you stroked them gently. This is his favourite memory from that day.
Tumblr media
Idia Shroud
• It would be bold to assume that Idia even remembers such a holiday. It's the first year of your relationship and everything was still new and fresh to him. The fact that he has a a significant other doesn't quite get to him.
• The fact that Cater accosted him when he had to leave the dormitory sent him into absolute panic. One of the most talkative people on campus making a survey? Double tragedy! The question was what he would do on Valentine's Day. He froze, trying to say anything. Luckily, you were nearby and saved him from trouble. He always knew his other half was the main character but now you showed off your best skills.
• When you left Cater, you said that if he wanted, you could have a game night at Ignihyde. He agreed to the proposal. At the same time, however, while eating dinner, he thought that he would like this night to be at least a little more special than usual.
• Shroud suppressed the overwhelming urge to send his brother to the school store for decorations. He went there himself. He kept telling himself the whole way that he was doing this for you. He ended up decorating his corner with hearts and laying out a ton of food. For a moment he had the urge to take it all off because it looked strangely out of place and actually in his head this idea was better. That's when you walked in, so he had no choice but to stand embarrassed in the middle of the room.
• You were really impressed that Idia managed to make such a gesture because you know he doesn't like such sweet things. Especially when you got it out of him that he had to go outside and did it for you. You were very happy and played until the morning, which made you late for class.

There are times when I really hate HOTD
You have no idea how much I want the HOTD writers to go to hell. I'm a patient person and I'm used to adaptations being different from the original, but what they did with HOTD is a huge piece of garbage. Adaptations often change appearance, plot, time frame, but a drastic change in personality is something I cannot tolerate.
What the hell happened to Alicent? Maybe the real Alicent was a stepmother from hell, but at least she knew what she wanted and was ready to do anything to achieve what she wanted. What happened to the boastful, arrogant, stupid and hot-tempered Aemond? And Aegon? This guy was a hot-tempered, spoiled hedonist, but not Mr. "I do what my mom says. My parents don't love me. It's time to show everyone my sad eyes."
Rhaenyra and Alicent's "friendship" is just 🤮. What the hell is friendship? From the very beginning, show!Alicent was jealous of show!Rhaenyra's position and status and her relationship with her parents. The real Rhaenyra would never have noticed someone like Alicent, let alone befriend her. Both girls had different upbringings, interests and worldviews. What common topics of communication did they have?
What kind of love are we talking about between Show!Viserys and Show!Rhaenyra? For half the season, all Show!Viserys did was just yell at his daughter and not listen to her, and for the second he looked like the walking dead.
How the writers couldn't come up with anything better than stealing some of Rhaenyra's things. Like her signature black dress, a forced marriage to a man who didn't care about Rhaenyra. Did you notice show!Rhaenyra's dresses and hairstyles? The book literally had a description of how Rhaenyra dressed and what hairstyle she preferred, but the writers apparently read the book from Wikipedia and skipped every second word.
I showed my friend, who hasn't watched the show and doesn't know anything about GOT or HOTD, photos of young show!Rhaenyra and show!Alicent from the series and asked what she thought. Do you know what the answer was? My friend decided that show!Alicent was a princess and show!Rhaenyra was a servant.
Just look at the banners they made for the second season. The green banner is really nice, but the black banner looks like a cheap towel.
What about the blacks on the show? How stupid must a girl be, who grew up in a world in which the main purpose of a woman is marriage and the birth of an heir, and who is the heir to the throne, to think that she can avoid marriage? The real Viserys didn't give Rhaenyra a choice and chose her husband himself, but did show!Rhaenyra really think she could avoid marriage? Show!Raenyra is the height of stupidity and absurdity, which constantly contradicts itself.
And Daemon? I really feel sorry for Matt. He is a talented actor and tries very hard. I think if the show had more skilled writers, he could have portrayed the real Daemon. But show!Daemon is a stupid, illogical, absurd clown who doesn’t understand what he wants and doesn’t follow through. This character has so many fans solely because of Matt's charisma, the writers should kiss his feet for that.
And of course, my favorite. There's only been one season out, but the writers have already demonstrated their style of throwing aside logic for the sake of effect. I mean, show!Laena's self-immolation and the way show!Rhaenys ruined show!Aegon's coronation. Do you know what the people who work on the show said in interviews? They added these scenes because they thought it would be cooler and more impressive. Wasn’t the creators of GOT guided by a similar point of view when working on the plot of the last seasons of the show?
And now, because of this show, a lot of people have come out of nowhere to argue that women should not hold leadership positions, remain silent and accept neglect because it is necessary, and rapists and aggressors can be forgiven if they are played by beautiful actors or if the characters lacked parental support love. According to this logic, people should love Joffrey and Ramsay since they both also lacked parental love in childhood.
This show really had potential and a good cast. But the screenwriters' work destroyed everything from the very beginning. Many people still have hopes that everything will be better in the second season, but I am in despair. No, seriously, look at the team banners for season two. They really did a good job on the green banner and that would be fine if the black banner wasn’t yet another proof of the writers’ bias. Black team, we have no hope.

Public Figures Owe You Nothing
Same thing, different fandom. Now, my first soiree into internet fandom was Glee nearly fifteen years ago. Given insane popularity of the show and one of their two main couples, Klaine, and Darren Criss being a straight man, I am no stranger to the "only gay (out) queer actors should play queer roles" argument.
I don't necessarily disagree completely. Queer actors should be highlighted in queer roles. But guess what, the film industry is shit.
Not everyone is out, can afford to be out, is ready to come out publicly, or cares to have anyone in their business. There is a huge number of fans who are way too invested in the parasocial relationships with their "favs" and cross lines.
It's a tale as old as time. Darren Criss' now wife, Mia (Swier), was mercilessly harassed online and honestly in person. I distinctly remember people MAILING her things. There was an incredible amount of hate directed towards her because SHE wasn't a HE and a group of fans were hellbent that he and Chris Colfer were secretly in a relationship, even though both were happily in their own relationships. (Both of them are actually still IN those relationships and I love that for them.)
Someone gave Dannell Ackles (wife of Jensen Ackles) a gift at an event. When she reached it she was cut by a bunch of rusty hooks in a fucking voodoo doll.
One of the NSYNC members (I can't remember if it were Chris or Joey) ended up being broken up with by their partner at the time because of the amount of hate they were getting.
This came up because someone said on instagram that they "will not be watching [RWRB]" because [Taylor and Nicholas] "are not out" and "they are gay for pay". So, me being me, says to them that the actors owe you nothing. Their sexuality/gender identity is no one's concern but their own.
Also, it was really disgusting what alot of Heartstopper did to Kit. He's just a baby and they strong armed him to coming out before he was ready and made him feel like he had to justify it. Cruel irony being that it's the exact opposite of the point of the books, and exact opposite of his character. I'll never forgive them for what they did to my son.
I went on to tell them that Hollywood is shit. It's homophobic, racist, sexist, xenophobic, transphobic, everything phobic. They like beautiful and handsome, classically beautiful, white, straight actors that fit into their perfect mold. As soon as actors come out they get type cast, lose rolls (because how could a homosexual portray intimacy with a woman? It's not like they are actors or anything). I, of course, got blocked because they didn't agree with me and that's fine.
Did you know that many actors in the union don't even make the $26,000 a year that is required to qualify for health insurance? Most actors are working class. Yes, many acquire a net worth, but it's honestly one huge disaster from losing what they have. The median salary for actors in the US is about 60K a year. So why would a working class actor or even a upper middle class actor, want to potentially dismantle their career trajectory by telling something that is really no one's concern anyway?
Not everyone wants to be stuck in a Ryan Murphy rotation. Maybe once we get more queer film and show makers and Hollywood execs start to fuck off we'll get more. I'm 99% sure that RWRB is the ONLY gay romcom without underlying trauma porn. The only other one that comes close is a Christmas movie.
Actors are still human and deserve privacy. They owe fans nothing. Their partners deserve privacy. If they are queer good for them. If they are not, good for them. But fans don't get to dictate who comes out and when. So yes, we want more queer actors in queer roles, but we don't get to decide if the ones who are not open get to have these roles. Sometimes it is who is best for the role.
As far as RWRB: Neither Taylor nor Nicholas have ever made any public statements on their sexuality and are both private people when it comes to their relationships. It's really goofy that people think it's an appropriate question to ASK them personally. Interview or not.
All that matters to me is that they killed that online and the characters they acted were madly in love with each other.
Moral of the story: they can want someone and love some one and not want that life for them. Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were together for three years before they came out and that's when NPH came out - at 34 on his terms, as it should be. Some people really missed the message of the book; that queer people deserve to come out when and how THEY want to.

Distracted
“ Eddie, it’s time to go” you said as you entered his trailer. “Steve is waiting in the car” you pointed outside as he turned around towards you. His eyes traveled down your body, taking in what you were wearing, as his mouth opened slightly in surprise. You frowned internally. What was Joe doing? This wasn’t in the script. Eddie was supposed to be unbothered by your short, tight red dress. You had even joked about it with him earlier, saying how it points even further to how he’s clearly not straight. Maybe he was improvising, you thought, maybe the Duffers had told him to try this instead. There was definitely an explanation, that was certain, so you went with it. “Eddie?” you waved your hand trying to get his attention. He shook his head, as if waking from a dream. “y-yeah right”He cleared his throat as his eyes fell to your breast again for a second. You felt yourself blush, you knew he was in character, so what he was doing was only a play, but still, you couldn’t help but feel nervous as Joe stared at you like that. Like he was eating you with his eyes. You heard a loud noise from outside, as scripted, and you turned towards it with a shocked face. “What was that?” you whispered terrified. “Eddie please tell me it’s not what I think it is” you pleaded as you backed from the door to get closer to him. You peeked up at him, looking for reassurance and you saw him swallow nervously as he scanned your whole face. You kept looking at him as he glanced at your red-painted lips. What was he doing? He was supposed to say his line. “Eddie” you murmured trying to salvage the situation. He licked his lips “It’s impossible” he whispered “Steve avoided the main roads right?” he asked concerned. Another loud roar came from outside, making you jump as you gasped. You gripped his shirt, placing your hands on his chest. You felt him stiffen just as you did. You looked up and nodded at him to answer his question as tears formed in your eyes. “Oh god” you murmured hiding in his arms. You nuzzled against him, hugging him as your chest pushed against his and you looked up at him frightened. His eyes fell to your breasts again, this time staying there, as he bit his lip. He didn't look terrified at all, quite the opposite, he looked like he wanted to fuck you. Joe was a great actor, what was happening? You widened your eyes subtly at him, trying to signal him that he was supposed to say a line. His eyes came back up to yours, and your heart fluttered as you noticed the hunger in them. God, how much you wished it was actually him looking at you like that. He still didn’t say anything. There was total silence on set. There was no point in keeping this up. “Joe” you smiled shily “your line” you reminded him softly. He widened his eyes, realizing his mistake. “Oh, shit” he breathed out as if he had just awakened from a trance “I-I forgot” he smiled” I’m sorry” he apologized to the crew behind you. “LET’S START FROM THE TOP GUYS” matt yelled from behind the camera and you pulled away from Joe, already missing feeling that close to him, as his eyes never left you. Ross jogged towards you just as you did “hey Joe, try not to act so surprised “ he turned towards him “Eddie doesn’t care about what she's wearing alright?” he explained. Joe cleared his throat “oh, yeah sure” he scratched his head “no problem” he said moving his eyes from Ross down to the floor, avoiding yours. You frowned confused as you walked back behind the fake door. So they hadn’t told him to do that, maybe he had thought it would have been a good idea, you considered. Yeah, that was probably it.
“Heyy” you murmured awkwardly as you entered joe’s trailer. Your costume designer, Jenna, had convinced you to go talk to him after you had spent 30 minutes rambling about how weird Joe had been while the poor woman was just trying to get your wig and outfit off of you. So here you were, standing in his trailer like a statue, afraid to even move a finger. “Y/N” he muttered surprised as he turned towards you. You smiled blankly at him. What were you doing here? This was stupid. “Did you need something?”He asked Oh right, you needed to actually say something and not just show up here. “ uhhhh” you mumbled, scratching your neck nervously” no, not really, I just-“ did you really just come here unannounced without even thinking of what you were gonna say? Genius. Joe frowned, confused. God this was stupid. Ok, just say it. You’re here already. “Ok.” You exhaled ”I wanted to ask you why you were acting weird before” There was definitely a better way to put that. Joe’s eyes widened subtly, as he cleared his throat. “W-what do you mean, weird?” “Well you- you were acting strangely before when we were shooting y’know?” you tried to explain yourself better. He laughed awkwardly “Oh, yeah, I’m sorry I was just-” he paused and glimpsed at you before immediately looking away”I was distracted” “Oh” you said sympathetically, “Is there something on your mind?” you asked, walking closer to him “ you wanna talk about it?” He still wasn’t looking at you, his eyes seemed fixated on a cabinet right next to him”N-no, thank you. It’s stupid” he shrugged. “Are you sure? You can tell me anything you know.I won’t judge I promise.I want to help you” you said, placing your hand on his arm. His eyes finally found yours, and you could see so much tension in them, it was as if he was looking at you but his mind was still elsewhere. “Y/n, it’s not important “he said with a thin voice. “Joe, there’s obviously something troubling you. please let me help” you said placing your other hand on his opposite arm. He looked at you, actually, looked at you, and you felt a shiver run down your spine. His gaze penetrating you and sending a warm wave through your whole body. “C’mon, why were you distracted?” you said with a reassuring smile. Silence fell and suddenly all you could hear were the muffled noises from the crickets outside and became very aware of your hands touching him. You didn’t move, too afraid to mess something up. “Because of you” Your heart skipped a beat. What did he just say? “Huh?” He chuckled “You distracted me” he said, moving a lock of your hair behind your ear “That outfit you wore” he explained, stepping closer to you “I’m used to you being beautiful by now, but” he smiled “that dress” he bit his lip” it was just too much” Oh fuck. Your cheeks were burning, and your brain was buzzing from all the effort it was putting into trying to metabolize what he had just said. “W-what?”you muttered “I couldn’t concentrate because you‘re too hot y/n” You blinked. What!? “Joe” you whispered, having no idea what to say next.I mean what were you supposed to say?You think I’m hot? have you ever looked in the mirror?try concentrating with that looking back at you. “I-I don’t know what to say” you murmured He smirked “ you don’t have to say anything” “O-ok “ He got even closer to you, an inch now all that separated your two bodies. You could feel the heat emanating from him, and his cologne inebriating all your senses. “Can I kiss you?” Your mouth fell open. “U-U- yes” you murmured He smiled, both at your behavior and for genuine happiness, before placing his soft lips on yours. He wrapped his arms behind your back, pulling you closer to him, and you closed your eyes losing yourself in the kiss, as your arms came to rest on his shoulders. He tasted of mint with a hint of cigarettes and his arms around you felt like the safest of barriers. One of his hands started exploring your back, leaving a trail of tingles with its touch. He leaned away, and you gasped softly at the lack of contact. You opened your eyes and in front of you, there wasn't the same man you were talking to before. Yes, it was Joe, but the look on his face felt more like the one a predator would have, a hunter in front of a defenseless deer, lust was the only thing you could see in his eyes as they traveled up and down your body while he bit down a subtle smirk. You swallowed and looked up at him through your lashes "Is everything ok?" you murmured. He found your eyes, your heart stopping a moment. If you thought he was hot before, now, you couldn't even find the words to describe him. "More than ok" he grinned before crashing his lips with yours. This time the kiss was hungrier, his tongue immediately making its way into your mouth while he gripped your hair pushing you against him. His other hand found your ass as he forced you against the wall. "God you're so hot" he muttered as he left sloppy kisses on your neck. "That dress you wore" he groaned, thinking back at it as he continued kissing you. Your hand found his hair. "I just wanted to rip it off of you" his hand made its way underneath your skirt and you whimpered. "or even better" he whispered against your ear, as his hand played with the hem of your panties "keep it on as I fucked you" his fingers gently caressed your clothed pussy. You bit your lip. "Just roll it up" his fingers found the wet spot on your panties and he groaned "Move your panties aside" he murmured as he did exactly that, finding your clit "And fuck you until you screamed my name" he said as he pushed his fingers inside you. You moaned and he chuckled, resuming kissing your neck as he picked up his pace. "Fuck" you moaned as his fingers curled up inside you. He looked at you, a smug look printed on his face. "Joe" you whimpered pathetically as his fingers continued their dance. "Yes sweetheart?" he asked feigning cluelessness and you moaned even louder at the pet name. "god it feels so good" you whined. his lips twitched into a grin "I'm glad" he kissed your cheek gently "but now I need to know how this pretty pussy feels around my cock" he whispered against your ear, his hot breath sending a shiver down your spine. "Would that be ok?" he kissed your ear. "Y-yes please" you stuttered desperately. he chuckled as he removed his fingers from inside you, quickly undid his belt, and liberated his hard cock from his boxers. He took his wallet from one of the jeans' pockets and pulled a condom out of it. You  raised your eyebrows "You carry that around with you all the time?" He smiled "You never know when your hot colleague will come to your trailer and give you a chance to do what you've been dreaming about for months" You bit down a proud grin. Months? wow. "yes months" he whispered, reading your mind as he leaned down to kiss you again while putting the condom on. He put his hand on your waist as he positioned himself in between you with the other one. He didn't break the kiss as he slowly pushed himself into you. He hissed at the feeling and you couldn't help but moan. "Fuck y/n" he groaned "It's even better than I imagined" he smiled, starting to move in and out of you slowly You giggled softly before a wave of pleasure washed over you, making you moan. "Joe" you whimpered "that's right" he said, thrusting into you "say my name honey" "Joe" you obeyed, gripping his biceps as he sped up his pace. "bloody hell y/n, you're so tight" he groaned. "Joe please" you whimpered, already feeling close. "What baby?" "Harder" He looked at you cockily before doing as told. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head as he started pounding into you mercilessly. "god yes- fuck-Joe" you muttered incoherently as he continued. "You're so pretty" He said kissing your neck. You could feel pressure building up in your belly. "I-I'm gonna cum" you said with a thin voice. "do sweetheart" he pecked your lips quickly " show me how beautiful you are when you cum" Those words were enough to send you over the edge. Millions of fireworks going off inside of you as you orgasmed, immediately followed by Joe, who came with a low groan, resembling your name. The only sound in the room was your heavy breathing. You looked at each other and as you locked eyes couldn't help but smile happily. "I'm sorry I distracted you" "I'm not sorry at all"

okay so after seeing all of the first three episodes again last night with friends and falling even more in love with the cast than before, i finally got around to episode 4 today. some thoughts:
i can't gush enough about the set design, it's all absolutely gorgeous. i was completely in love with the little clearing where young zoro and kuina have their match, just seeing the sunlight filtering through the trees...it really gives off that kind of nostalgic, romantic feeling that you get when you think back to a simpler time in your life. and of course, kaya's mansion is gorgeous! it doesn't look like yet another generic rich person mansion. it has character! i loved all the wall art in their dining room, i like the orderly yet cozy cluttered feeling of the kitchen, i love how it all feels lived in, like it has a history
talking more about the technical aspects, i love the costume design too! i like the slightly too clean look of the marine uniforms - it brings notice to the fact that these are new cadets who don't have much fighting history. i like that both nami and sham get to wear practical clothes! no stupid high heels for nami! no short shorts!
i didn't mention this last time, but i LOVE jacob's version of usopp. it's crazy that they managed to find a guy who can do usopp's over the top facial expressions in real life. they really lucked out with this entire main cast, i can't imagine literally anyone else playing our beloved straw hats. i hope we can see at least one more season, and i hope i adore robin and chopper just as much as i love these the east blue crew
as sad as it is, i'm glad that it seems like merry really is dead. i like this more brutal direction for the live action, because it feels like there are actual consequences for them, and i like that you can't take for granted that just because someone survived in the manga/anime, it means they'll survive in the live action too
the child actors are a little stiff, but i think they're really doing a good job given how young they are! young zoro's actor was definitely doing a better job that kojiro's. he sold his grief over kuina's death very well
speaking of koshiro, i still fuckin hate that dude. he did kuina so dirty with his sexism, convincing her she had no future as a swordswoman, making her believe that she could never stand up to men.
i think having koby and helmeppo show up at kaya's mansion and inevitably get duped by kuro was a good choice. it lets koby get a little more experience in a leadership position, and more than that, it helps establish usopp's distrust of the marines. from the beginning he was always interested in the romantic view he had of pirates because of his dad, but seeing that the marines failed him, even after they said they would help him, and that they didn't believe him no matter how much he begged them to, it helps establish a reason for him to go along with the pirates when they invite him to. the marines didn't do shit to protect kaya, but luffy and his friends did everything they could. they loved kaya, maybe not as much as usopp, but they wanted her to be safe.
side note, it's kind of hilarious to think about helmeppo trying to kill luffy, and then going back to the ship and finding out that he's garp's grandson 💀💀
when we are! started playing in the background as the going merry set sail for the first time with her crew...i cried, i'm not ashamed to admit it. gosh, i missed her, and i miss the first opening. it's so nice to see her get to go on more adventures with her crew in this new medium! i know some people were unhappy with her figurehead, but i just adore it, it suits her crew well
luffy's little shit-eating grin when kaya just gives them merry for free, and nami being just SO exasperated because he's gonna be so insufferable now, it made me laugh so hard! i love these idiots
when usopp and luffy were arguing about which one of them was captain, and nami just burst out laughing? and then zoro started chuckling too? that was so healing! they've already had good chemistry so far, and they've shown loyalty, but it's so nice to finally see zoro and nami kind of starting to admit that they do like these people they've become friends with, and it's nice to see that they're coming around to how much they care about luffy
i was a little iffy about them doing the garp reveal at the end. my first instinct was to be really annoyed by it, but after thinking on it for a moment, it honestly does make sense. in the first place there wasn't really a plot reason to put off the reveal until post enies lobby anyways. and then you also have to take into account that it would be a huge success if we ever even get a second season, let alone reaching post enies lobby. so it's not ideal, but i'm not too upset at them about it. ALSO, seeing zoro, nami, and usopp's reaction to the news was fucking hilarious. i hope we get some good dynamics in the next episode! i want to see garp call luffy his idiot grandson. i want that funny family dysfunction.

I had to pause the show, I am currently at the fight scene between Bumi and Aang. I have to say the characterisations of most of the characters so far have disappointed me. I can't help but compare to the OG ATLA because its literally based off the show and the characters in the animated series are already so fully fledged and complex, the live active just had to follow suit, instead of adding their own interpretations. I'll comment about main characters after I've watched the whole series but now,
Jet and the Freedom Fighters: They were casted so brilliantly!! And the actor for Jet did the absolute perfect job in being the charismatic leader of the 'lost boys' who lived in the trees. What I didn't like was how Netflix labelled him a "terrorist" and "acting out of hate". They outrightly labelled what he was doing, which made him less of complex character vs the animated series portraying him as a boy dealing with the traumas of loss and war, finding family with others who had to deal with the same loss, and failing to see the complexities of war. I don't know, the characterisation in Netflix's ATLA feels off.
Uncle Iroh: I like that Netflix addressed that he was a war criminal and how that affected the soldier on a personal level as well. But when Iroh said "War pushes us to the edge. I wasn't talking about me", I felt again that it does not feel like the Iroh I know from the animated series. The Iroh, who regretted his past decisions, the Iroh who was compassionate and on the search for enlightenment, the Iroh who was part of the White Lotus as a way of redeeming himself. Even the fight scene in the animated series, he did not use any firebending againts the Earthbender soldiers but in the Netflix one he did. In the animated series, it was significant to me that he did not use firebending (only the chains) -- from his past, he understood that he should not use his power to oppress. Somehow, without explicitly fleshing our Iroh's past, the animated series succeeded in creating a more complex, fully fledged character.
Lastly, BUMI T.T I understand that Netflix wanted to set the show in the context of war and so it kept bringing it up and I understood that the Netflix characterisation of Bumi was trying to act as a foil to Aang: someone who lived through 100 years of war vs someone who "ran" away from the difficulties of it. But this made Bumi wholly unlikeable and very much NOT BUMI. The animated Bumi acted as someone who could potentially be Aang's earthbending teacher and a "mad genius", someone who prepared Aang for the tough journey ahead and taught him to think outside the box. To me, while people do change and become jaded by war, Bumi was one of the characters that retained his 'madness' and joyfulness/zest for life (that's why he was part of the White Lotus). In the OG ATLA, he changed over a 100 years in terms of the wisdoms he gained and imparted to Aang. In the netflix series, he seemed like just an angry old king, who was jaded and took his anger out on his old friend? He even made the remark of airbenders being "flighty" after Aang said that they all died??? What on EARTH really, King Bumi liked to joke but he would never disrespect Aang or a whole peoples like that. Crazy characterisation choice by NetflixT.T
Anyway I'll stop ranting here and finish the episode (ALSO HOW COULD THEY TAKE AWAY THE AANG X KATARA MOMENT IN THE CAVE?? I'm really starting to understand why the original creators pulled themselves out of the Netflix project)
