Our Secret - Theseus x Reader
A/N: I only ever publish things I'm somewhat proud of, and I absolutely love the way that this one turned out.
Word Count: 1,342
Warnings: Sassy Lally (more of a gift than a warning), fluff (<3)
Tumblr media
Lally's skirt swishes around her ankles as she entered her classroom at Ilvermorny, a long sigh escaping her lips as she made her way to her desk. Papers were scattered all over the surface, parchment placed in a heap at the center of the table, and quills were spilling out of their holder.
Her students were already done for the day, now nestled back in their common rooms in preparation for the next day. But you were still there, twirling around in her swivel chair, enjoying the moment.
When you noticed her, a large smile appeared on your face, and you rose from your seat, "Lally, you're back already!"
She nodded, "I've been gone too long. Can't have you teaching them better than me, can I?"
"Well, it's too late for that." You teased, giving her a quick hug, "It's good to see you, but you really should get going. You look exhausted, Lally."
"I assure you that I'm quite alright. Just glad to be back and in my classroom." Lally said, waving her wand to arrange the parchament in a neat stack, placing the quills all in one cannister, and sorting the papers by student's year.
You shrugged, "Suit yourself. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you."
"You could get back to teaching Care of Magical Creatures tomorrow and tell them what a great professor I am?" She suggested, wiggling her brows, "You never know, Y/N, maybe I'll teach Care of Magical Creatures one day and you'll teach Charms."
"You? Teaching Care of Magical Creatures? And me teaching Charms? You're too kind- and unrealistic." You sighed, shaking your head, "I'd have better luck getting a job with MACUSA than I would getting the role of Charms professor."
"You're probably right. I don't think the charms teacher here wants to leave anytime soon. She likes what she does. She's rather good at it, too." Lally teased, reclaiming her seat.
You raked a hand through your hair, "I don't know, I'd say she's okay."
Lally jokingly rolled her eyes, reclining in her seat.
The door behind you burst open, the doors slamming into the walls on its sides. Startled, you drew your wand, aiming it directly at your target.
But Lally leaped out of her chair, gently pushing your hand towards the ground, "Careful, Y/N, he's no harm. Just a friend."
She turned towards the man who had just entered her classroom, "What can I do for you, Mr. Scamander."
"Please, Lally, call me Theseus." He said, offering her a small smile, before clearing his throat, "Newt's here for the next few days as a guest speaker for Care of Magical Creatures. And, given that he's, well, Newt, I've been sent here to supervise. It's a good thing, too, because he's already lost Teddy."
"You don't think he's gotten in here, do you?" Lally questioned, peering around the room for any sign of movement.
Theseus shrugged, "I'm not sure, but I don't want to leave any table unturned."
They began scuffling around the room, peering under benches, tables, and in between bookcases. You stood in the center of the room, unsure of what to do with yourself.
Clearing your throat, you offered your best smile, "Is there anything I can do to help?"
Theseus turned towards you, his eyes locked on yours. But you didn't notice, your eyes were too busy wandering the room. But Lally noticed, and that's when an idea popped into her head.
"You know, I'm awfully tired. I should really be heading back. But Theseus, Y/N would be more than happy to help you search for that niffler." Lally pretended to yawn, stretching her arms as she walked past him, winking at you as she made her way to the door, "Greatest of nights to you two!"
And then the doors shut and she was gone.
You stared at the closed door, then looked back to Theseus, "So, what exactly are we looking for?"
"A niffler." He responded, lifting himself up off the ground, "Specifically my brother's niffler."
"What's a niffler?" You asked, your head tilting to the side, curious as to how he'd describe the mole-like creature.
"Oh," His forehead creased, and he began making odd motions with his hands to describe it, "He's… soft… and he's got a pouch… and a pinkish face, but black fur… saved my life…"
You raised your brows, a laugh escaping your lips. Your hand rushed to cover your mouth, but it was too late. Soon enough, Theseus began laughing to, ceasing his movements, "I'm not exactly sure what I was trying to show you there… Can't really make a niffler out of air."
Nodding, you smiled, "You're very creative."
"Aren't I?" He teased, his hands in his pockets as he accepted defeat, "I don't think he's in here."
You stood up from your spot on the floor, where you had been looking under a bookcase, "That's a shame. Is there anywhere else you could look?"
He shook his head, "We'll have to enlist help checking the common rooms tomorrow when the students have cleared out. It wouldn't be right to go in there now."
Suddenly, his tweed coat began to sway, causing his eyes to widen. He reached down deep into his pocket, letting out a sigh when he lifted what looked to be a niffler, from what he had described, out of it.
"Is that the niffler?" You asked, walking over to him.
"You couldn't tell? I thought I explained it so well!" He joked, softly scratching the creature's head, "This is Teddy, he's my brother's."
You rubbed Teddy's chin with your finger, smiling as he squeeked excitedly against your touch.
"He's quite friendly." You acknowleged, "Your brother has done well."
Theseus nodded, "I've grown quite fond of him myself. Thank you, again, for your help."
You waved her hand, "You did most of the work. Or, he did."
"Well, now that we've found him, it's time to return him to my brother."
"Oh." You said, your shoulders sagging, "Well, it was nice to meet you… Theseus?"
He nodded, "Y/N, right? You know, it'd be nice having another set of eyes on him. To make sure he doesn't run off again. Would you mind helping me track down my brother? I understand if you don't, it's a lot to ask, but I'll make it up to you. I'll get you dinner afterwards?"
"I'd like that, very much." You beamed, holding the large wooden door open for him.
He stepped out, looking around unsure, "If I'm being completely honest, I don't exactly know where I'm headed. I went to Hogwarts myself."
"Really?" You questioned, acting surprised, "I was sure you were an american with that accent.
Theseus laughed, "Were you?"
You nodded, "Thankfully for you, I know exactly where I'm going."
"Did you go here?" He asked, trying to keep Teddy for crawling up his arm.
"I still do."
His eyes widened, "I didn't realize you were a student. I thought-"
"I'm a professor." You said, cutting him off.
"What do you teach?"
A smirk appeared on your face, half covered in the shadows, "Care of Magical Creatures."
"So… you knew exactly what a niffler was and what it looked like?" He swallowed, stopping dead in his tracks.
With a nod, you placed a reassuring hand on his back, "It's alright. You explained them almost as well as my first years."
He shook his head, his cheeks flushing.
"It's alright, really! I was just teasing." You laughed, "Hurt your pride?"
"Maybe just a bit." He said, chuckling to himself.
"Here, follow me. I know a shortcut." You said, pulling down on a nearby torch. Large stone bricks began to rearrange themselves, allowing the two of you into a passageway, "It'll be our secret."
"Our secret?"
"Yes."
Theseus smiled at you as he stepped into the passageway, "I like the sound of that."
The two of you continued walking side by side, neither saying a word but knowing what the other meant.

look at him omg
summary: you pull an all-nighter to help newt with his book. he just so happens to think you look very cute while struggling to stay awake for him.
words: idk not a lot
warnings: very old blurb from when fbawtft first came out omg. just fluff tho. minors dni tho BACK I SAY!!!
You loved Newt's creatures almost more than you loved Newt himself. You loved working on his book with him, you loved taking care of the creatures. But sometimes life caught up to you, and you suddenly realized you hadn't slept in the last 24 hours. It was 11 PM, the last time you had actually slept was 24 hours ago when you woke up in the middle of the night to Frank carrying on in his biome.
You smiled when you remembered how Newt tried to pull you back into bed when you went to see if Frank was okay. Then you told him what you heard and he was out the door before you stood up. You looked back up at Pickett and scribbled some more in your notebook. Pickett tried to run off the table, but you put your hand in front of him to stop him.
"Now, Pickett. I told you he'd only be a moment," You scolded Pickett and put him back on the table. He stuck his tiny tongue out at you. You did the same. You bowed your head to sketch some more, and could feel yourself slowly drifting. You blinked prufsely, and tried to stay awake, to no avail. You closed your eyes in defeat and gradually slipped into a light slumber. You could feel two warm hands begin to massage your shoulders whilst you were half awake.
"Darling?" Newt's voice echoed in your mind. "Darling, are you okay?" Your head flew up, your head now right next to Newt's as he continued to massage your neck and back. He chuckled and kissed your neck gently.
"Let's go to bed, love," He suggested as he squeezed your chest and bit your ear. You smiled and moaned quietly.
"I would love that," You whispered in his ear. Pickett screeched, which made you remember how tired you were. "But I haven't slept in legitimately 24 hours," He kissed your neck once more before he gathered your things in his arms. You stood up from the bench and carried Pickett to his tree home. Newt waited for you with his arm stretched out, a signal for you to take his hand. You did so, and he lead you to the cottage the two of you shared. You went straight into the bedroom, and Newt, however, stacked your things neatly on the kitchen table and changed into more comfortable clothes before he joined you in bed.
"I love you, Y/N," He whispered as he brushed a strand of hair out of your face with his middle finger.
"I love you too," You replied. You scooted closer to him and placed a gentle kiss on his nose. Before you could pull away, he rested his hand on the back of your head and pulled you in for a kiss.
"As much as I would love to stay up kiss you, darling, you must get to sleep. Now, I love you more than anything-" He was cut off by your snoring. He smiled and kissed your forehead.
"I love you too," You replied in your sleep. He blushed and wrapped his arms around you.
"Sweet dreams, my sleepless love,"

can I request an animagus!reader x platonic!Newt Scamander where the reader has just become an animagus, and Newt finds them in their animagus form (maybe a lynx or kneazle) and takes them in? He doesn’t know it’s the reader and the reader stays in animagus form to see what happens and mess with Newt
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Platonic! Newt Sacamander  x Animagus! Reader
Words: 2350
Google docs pages: 4
Warnings: None, I believe
Opening: The reader is a new kneazle animagus who gets found by Newt on accident. The reader recognizes Newt from some time ago, but decides against changing forms to see how far they could go before Newt would realise who the creature truly was.
AN// Any pronouns for reader! Haha, I didn’t even realise how much I missed writing for this man. Thank you for the request, I hope it's to your liking. (Oh, and thank you for the other requests I’ve also gotten, I’ll get to those as soon as I can! ^^)
                                  “Are you lost?”
You hadn't meant to change forms now, but after completing some…unofficial work as some might call it, you had to make sure no one was after you and it just kind of happened. Not that you hadn’t been trying to turn for the first time, you had been but without any success. There wasn’t much time to get used to the form, but you knew enough about magical creatures to pinpoint what your form might have been. It also turned out your new form was a great getaway, especially from places where there were kneazles roaming around anyway. No one would pay no mind to your escape.
Only, while checking that no one was after you, a man passing by noticed you. You being too busy frantically looking around caused you to not notice him though. This allowed him to get rather close, but far enough to not be able to touch you. The surprise of a wizard staring at you caught you off guard, and as much as you’d hate to admit it, a hiss left your muzzle. Your movements, as far as you knew, weren't too graceful either, most likely resembling an injured animal rather than a kneazle used for guarding. The man took a respectful step back, kneeling down to your level. You stared back at him with a fierce expression, trying your best to scare him away. Surely, like most people, he knew that the kneazles around here were used as guardians. For all he knew, he could have gotten attacked by you, not that you’d do that to him of course. Your speckled fur rose up, big ears pinning back as you showed your sharp teeth to him. The man didn’t seem afraid, even more oddly…he seemed to try and relax even more. At this point, you knew that even a real kneazle would have come to the conclusion that this man was to be trusted, but you were no house pet. You didn’t need to be taken back to your home, you didn’t even live here. No matter how kind this man was. But he did seem insistent on trying to get your trust, for whatever reason that may have been for.
Newt offered out his hand. The kneazle seemed more scared to him rather than trying to chase him away. This kept him persistent on trying again, thinking that the creature might have been hurt for the way it was moving. “Did you get lost? You’re quite far from home, if you did.” He smiled, keeping his hand out before his eyes lit up. “Would you like a treat?” He kept speaking in a calm tone, not wishing to scare you.
It was when he had begun to speak that the realisation had hit you. The wizard trying to get you to come to him was someone who you had met briefly before. Newt Scamander, you remember his name being. That must have been why he seemed so calm around you, ignoring any warning signs that you had given him. It now felt like he knew how to handle your form better than you yourself. Embarrassing, but thankfully you’d never have to admit that to him…
The realisation must have calmed the way you looked, and the wizard had taken that as a ‘yes’ to his offer. You watched as Newt opened the briefcase he always carried with him, putting it against a corner of a house. The place was so far on the edge of the living area, no one ever came there. Except for you and him it seemed.
Keeping your eyes on the man, you saw him climb into the briefcase, soon a hand poking out as if the wizard was inviting you to join him. Reluctantly you took a couple of steps closer, looking down into the briefcase. It seemed like a house, not even a small one that was. At the bottom of the ladder you saw Newt again, he was holding a piece of meat in his hand which he showed to you and then placed down on a table, coming back to the end of the ladder. He held out his arms, asking for you to come down. He did still believe you had just gotten lost, but perhaps you could have some fun before ultimately you’d have to reveal yourself to him. Before that though, you’d have to figure out how to turn back…
With that, you stepped down and allowed Newt to catch you. You looked around the briefcase as the wizard set you down and held out the treat yet again, lowering it to you. The thought of eating in your animagus form almost made you recoil but if that was what had to be done in order for your plan to work, you’d do it. You took the rather small piece of meat from him, munching it away while he leaned on a table. When your eyes travelled back to him, he seemed to be thinking.
Thinking of what to do with you now. It was getting quite late, and he didn’t want to bother the residents at night by knocking on their doors, asking if someone had lost their kneazle. Which meant he’d either have to let you wander the night alone or keep you in the briefcase until the sun rose up again. Which of he chose the latter, of course. “Right, I suppose you’re going to have to stay with me. It’s okay, we’ll find your home tomorrow.” He smiled with the same gentle smile you had seen before and reached down to you. Newt waited for you to sniff his hand, as if letting you recheck if you trusted him before he allowed himself to pet your head briefly.
A gush of air hit your face as Newt pushed himself away from the table, and walked to the kitchen, continuing on to a place in the ‘house’ that you had heard animalistic noises from, your heightened senses allowing you to smell other creatures in that area. With cautious steps you followed along, watching as he fed the other creatures. You knew he was well informed on magical creatures, and it showed. All the creatures had their own assigned habitats, and Newt seemed to know exactly how much and what to feed them. Heck, as far as you knew he was treating you like you had read all kneazles should be treated. It rather warmed your heart to see him care for the creatures so deeply, even if some may have claimed them as dangerous and as something to never go near.
Though, the feeding meant that you had time to explore without his attention being on you. Your paws turned, trotting back to the kitchen area where after some thinking you decided to jump on the counter. It wasn’t a graceful jump, and as much as you’d hate to admit it, you did have to drag yourself up to be able to fully stand up. While walking to the other side of it, you made note of what had been on it. As you were about to jump down the sound of footsteps on the wooden floor almost echoed in your ears before you could cast a look towards the man. He seemed almost just as surprised to see you on the counter, a playful smile on his face as he got closer. “Be careful, I haven’t yet checked you for injuries!” You jumped down, running away but not far enough to not hear him. “Hm, were you looking for food as well?” Newt’s voice spoke again as he made sure that nothing on the counter was broken. “Come on then, you’ll get some too.” He hummed, seemingly happy to have a visitor.
You had made your way to where the habitats were, eyes wide as your much smaller form marched past huge creatures, some you had never even seen before. While in your thoughts something had managed to sneak up on you, tugging your tail for a few times. A rather rough hiss came from you while turning around, finding a small, almost blue-ish creature sitting behind you. As soon as it saw the opportunity, which was the clear confusion on your face, it scattered away. Your gaze followed it run and get picked up by Newt. The expression on his face looked as if even without seeing he knew the creature must have met you. “You met Teddy, then?” The creature named ‘Teddy’ climbed onto his shoulder, not keeping it safe for much longer as Newt picked you up as well, carrying you as he walked.
You didn’t look, but you felt his eyes on you every now and then. As if he was thinking about something, making notes of your behaviour.
The wizard had heard the rather odd hiss coming from you earlier. He had his doubts about you, thinking that maybe you lacked some of the high intelligence the kneazle usually had or perhaps it was something else making him suspicious of you…or perhaps you were just injured. Either way, he set you down, you only now noticing he had brought you back into the kitchen. “Be careful around the habitats, better not get too close when they’re eating you see.” He spoke to your animagus form, as if you’d understand. Of course you did, but he didn’t know that.
A bowl was placed on the ground, slightly under the table so he wouldn’t accidentally step on it or kick it while walking by. “There you go.” Another smile. While sniffing the food, you could feel his eyes examine your form, but he couldn’t find any signs of bruises or injuries.  With that he retreated himself to his room, and as if no time had passed the sounds of writing began to chime from behind the curtain he seemed to use as a door.
You were not eating again. Not in this form at least. Though, you were getting thirsty but there was absolutely no way you’d be able to turn on the faucet without him noticing. So it became a waiting game. Waiting until he’d fall asleep and you could figure out how to turn back to your human form.
Eventually the waiting paid off. The noises of writing and pages being turned stopped and you could have sworn you heard the bed sheets move as he settled down. Some of the creatures had calmed down as well it seemed, even better for you.
With a couple of careful glances to your sides and a long sigh, you sat down and closed your eyes. What felt like hours of concentrating worked, you were back to your human form. It felt oddly nice to be standing on two legs, to be able to reach the countertop without having to jump on top of it. Though, the first couple of steps you took were clumsy.
You opened some of the cabinets and soon found a glass which you filled with water a couple of times and drank. To your fortune and maybe to Newt's misfortune he had left some bread on the counter as well, a night snack for you.
While working on preparing some food for yourself, someone had woken up. He was staring at you from the corner of his bedroom and it didn’t take long until you could feel eyes on your back. Assuming it was either the ‘Teddy’ creature or one of the free roaming bird-like ones, you turned around calmly only to find Newt staring at you. You froze and it almost felt like time had done the same, but the environment soon warmed up as Newt laughed gently. “I thought there was something odd about the kneazle I rescued.” He walked closer, leaning on the kitchen table. He seemed calm enough on the outside, but you still felt the need to apologise. “I- I’m sorry, Newt. I should probably leave, I know you don’t like-” The stutter mixed ramble was interrupted by Newt putting his hand up. “It’s quite alright. Only a surprise to meet you again like this.” He spoke, a hint of awkwardness in his voice but he seemed to hide it well. “You never told me you were an animagus?” He asked, Newt's voice now filled with interest as he got to bring up the topic of magical creatures once more. “Not necessarily a registered one, so I don’t tend to bring it up…” You grinned a little awkwardly, scratching the back of your neck as you retreated from the countertops and seated yourself around the kitchen table. “Ah, I see. I’m assuming you don’t use the form often then either?” Newt hummed, taking your earlier spot. “ He reached into the cabinets. “O-oh, no. I- This was actually the first time it worked.” You said, knowing your clumsy movements in the form must have seemed odd to Newt. The wizard’s eyes moved back to you, slight worry mixed with interest in his eyes. “Are you feeling alright?” The question slipped from him so suddenly. You blinked a couple of times. “Oh yes, I suppose. Got some getting used to, I suppose.” You tried to smile, only now feeling the exhaustion from the changes. Newt took a moment to say anything. “Would you like some tea? I was coming to make some for myself earlier but..” He smiled. You bit your inner lip in embarrassment, not letting it show. “Sure.”

Tumblr media
It was usually in conditions like these, when the streets of London were slick with cool wet, and the biting cold spread mist from hot mouths filled the air, that made a time meant for cheer and love, one of desolate solitude for those less fortunate. Whatever the circumstances may be, it is in these times Newt Scamander often found himself alone. Though, if you were to ask him yourself he would deny the accusation and snarkily ask if one could ever be truly alone when surrounded by magnificent creatures. Despite the best efforts of his brother, who cared for him most earnestly, Newt hadn’t spent the holidays with him in years.
He had his reasons to be sure. Back when Theseus was engaged with his childhood friend Leta, there was no doubt an awkwardness. The younger Scamander brother was in love with the Lestrange girl. To see his brother have what he had longed for since he first met her put a strain on his heart. Newt was not bold in any sense of the word. Being forward with a woman never came easy to him. When he’d lost the chance to win Leta’s heart he swore that when he found himself enamored by another woman he would make it clear to her his affections.     In came Tina Goldstein, an American auror who he found himself entangled with on a trip overseas. He felt something for her—a kind of attraction that was different from the one he felt for Leta, but an attraction nonetheless. Tina was tall and beautiful and treated him with more respect than anyone ever had. But even that effort fell short. Tina had become more dedicated to her work and her sister. There was no room for him in her life at the moment. The two drifted apart succeeding the events of Grindelwald's rally in Paris. He returned to London, and she to her own affairs.     That had been nearly three years ago. Newt did well on his own, he felt. His creatures keep him busy enough. Getting through the day was easy. The nights were the hardest. At night there wasn't anything busying his mind from thinking of you.     Newt started to believe he was cursed to always fall in love with women he couldn't have. Whoever it was must have been especially cruel to make him fall for his brother’s girlfriends. That could be the only explanation. Otherwise,  he was just a sick, perverted man who desperately needed therapy. Little did he know two things can be true.    It wasn’t as though it were intentional. When it came to Leta, he had loved her first. Theseus just happened to get her. You, however, was something he did not expect. He was acquainted with you, only knowing and conversing with you when Leta was involved, considering you were her friend. It wasn't until she died that he got to know you better. During that time, Newt stayed with his brother and swore to stay by his side and help him and the ministry in capturing Grindelwald. Theseus grieved, and Newt was there to care for him, and so were you.     You would come by with food and insist on helping clean the apartment. The gesture was kind, especially when you were going through your own grief. Newt wondered if you used your kindness and instinct to help others as a way to distract yourself from the pain you truly felt. He was able to prove his theory right after many nights alone, drinking gin and fire whiskey, when he got to know you more intimately.     Theseus never knew, but in those first few months he spent grieving, Newt had grown rather fond of you. You were funny, kind, a great cook, and you listened to him, something no one else really did. The day he discovered your relationship with his brother he was disappointed, to say the least. Once again, Theseus had managed to take someone else he cared about. Newt often wondered how different things would have been if he had kissed you that night as you so desperately wanted him to. The same night when you had drank one too many gin and tonics and found the Scamander family album hidden in Theseus’s bookshelf. That night you somehow wound up on top of his lap, flipping through embarrassing baby pictures and evidence of his pubescent awkwardness. You were too drunk to notice how tense he was underneath you, or how with every shift of movement, or every laugh you chuckled, your ass pressed against his crotch.     When you came across a picture of Newt his mother had taken of him on the first day working at the Ministry when he was sixteen, you gushed over how ‘adorable’ he looked. Newt blushed. Then you said something he didn't expect.     “I see what Leta meant. You were always cute.”     Newt didn't know what to say. You positioned your head on his shoulder to look up at him. Newt was never good at eye contact, but he found it hard to tear his eyes away from yours.     “You have pretty eyes,” you slurred suddenly with a smile stretched across your lips. He could smell the alcohol on your breath your faces were so close.     “So do you,” he said, surprising himself with his own brazenness. It was true. You had two pretty (e/c) eyes like none he’d ever seen, even when they fluttered and stared blankly up at him in an intoxicated daze. But it was only with the help of the three glasses of gin he had earlier that helped him say it aloud.     Your smile grew wider. Your hand went to cup his left cheek. “I never understood Leta,” you mumbled. “How could anyone look past you?”     He’d wanted it so bad. To feel your lips against his would be his greatest reward after all he’d been through, after all his shortcomings. If he were a lesser man he would have taken advantage of your drunkenness. But you could barely sit up on your own, and he couldn’t tell how long it would be before you lost consciousness and fell asleep on the couch as you had done several times before.     “Kiss me, Newt,” you asked. “Please.” It was the first sentence you hadn't slurred since the gin entered your bloodstream. In a moment of weakness, his hand caressed your cheek. His thumb swiped over your bottom lip and he heard your breath hitch in your throat.     You were so beautiful and there you were, begging him to kiss you. Begging for something more by the way you pressed your body into him and looked desperately at his lips through half-lidded eyes. And maybe if he had four gin and tonics instead of three he would have given you what you wanted. But he was more sober than you and he respected you far too much to take advantage of you in your current state. What he had to do afterward took all his restraint.     The next day you greeted him in the kitchen with the same kind smile you always gave him as you prepared breakfast. The matter was never brought up again and Newt assumed you simply didn't remember. He saw no point in bringing it up himself. Before he knew it, it was too late. Theseus had set his eyes on you and wasted no time claiming you as his. Newt could not touch you, no matter how badly he wanted to.     And so, once again, Newt found himself in love with his brother’s girl. Constantly keeping her on his mind, constantly yearning for her, but always stepping back. He was still close to you, which only made it harder.     For the past year, he’s kept the secret of that night. But that wouldn't stop him from thinking of it, and all that could have been, just as he was doing now, lying in his bed with his hand wrapped around his cock. If only he could have you with him now and feel your skin on his, taste the salt of your sweat, and feel the heat of your body. He could only imagine. But even in his imagination he was the happiest man on earth. Theseus must have felt like God.     Unbeknownst to him, he would get a taste of that feeling the very next day. In the morning when he woke up, he found an owl waiting for him with a letter. It was an invitation, from you no less, to join you and Theseus for a Christmas dinner later that evening. In truth, Newt had been so busy tending to his creatures the past week he had forgotten how close Christmas was approaching, let alone that it was Christmas Day.     The thought of spending an evening with you was enticing. It was Theseus’s presence that made him second guess. He loved his brother, that was no question. He probably loved his brother more than anyone else in the world, which is why he could sit silently as he continuously watched him have everything he ever wanted with no protest. That didn't mean it was easy. It was hard to see you with him, even harder than when he had to endure Leta with him. At least then he had Tina as a distraction. Now there was only you and he could see no one else better than you.     Had it been Theseus who sent the letter he wouldn't have agreed to stop by. He might not have even replied. But since it was you, and only because it was you, he sent an owl confirming his arrival.     On the other side of things, you were ecstatic. It had been some time since you'd seen Newt and you considered him one of your closest friends. You knew Theseus would love having his little brother visit for Christmas and felt it would be the perfect present for him.     You had told Newt to come a couple of hours earlier than when you would be expecting Theseus. When you opened the door you greeted him with a bright, toothy smile and open arms. Newt hugged you back awkwardly and stepped inside.     “Everything is cooking in the oven now,” you said. “I’m just finishing up the pie for dessert. Come, have a drink in the kitchen.”     Newt followed behind you. You looked adorable in the tacky red and green Christmas sweater you wore over your long white dress. You made him a drink and started on your creme pie.     “It’s so good to see you, Newt,” you told him. “I was afraid you couldn’t make it. I know how busy your creatures keep you.”     “It’s good to see you too,” he replied. “Bunty insisted she stay and help while I am away. She claimed she had no other plans.”     You pouted your lips. “That’s awful!” You said. “You should have told me! I would have gladly invited Bunty over if I knew. No one should be alone on Christmas.”     Newt smiled softly. There you go again, always thinking of others. As the two of you sat in the kitchen you caught each other up on your lives. Things were going great for you, Newt discovered. You had recently gotten a promotion and received a medal for your efforts spying abroad for your department and gathering intel on Grindelwald and his acolytes.    Newt told you about his own travels abroad, searching for and rescuing creatures whenever he could while doing his own work for Dumbledore to support the cause. He told you stories of the places he’d been and the creatures he’d seen, even promising to let you visit his home to see them for yourself. “They’d love you,” he said.     Before he knew it, the two of you were sharing a glass of wine on the couch while the food kept warm. Then you shared another, and another, and another while you both waited for Theseus to return.     “He works later these days,” you tell Newt. “There’ve been days where he doesn't come home at all. Just stays up there, drooling over papers in his office. I worry about him sometimes.”     “That’s my brother,” he says. “Always working harder than anyone else. Always having something to prove. In some ways I’m jealous.”     You chuckled. “Jealous? How so?”     “He’s always so,” Newt paused, searching his brain for the right word. “Dedicated. Determined. He sets his mind on something and won't stop until he does it. He’s always been like that.”     You turned to face him next to you on the couch, sitting on your legs and propping your elbow on the back of the couch to lean your head against your hand. You peer at him quizzically. “But you’re like that too.”     Newt scoffed. “No I’m not,” he chuckled as he took a sip of his wine.     “Yes, you are!” You insist. “You’re very determined and dedicated to your animals. You have done things many others are too afraid to do; all to protect the things you love. Even Theseus admits you are much better suited to be an auror than he is.”     Newt raised a curious brow, a coy smile on his face. “Really?”     You nod. “He’s very amazed by you—admires you, even. As do I. You’re very brave, Newt. No one is more determined or dedicated than you.”     “There is one person,” Newt muttered.      “Who?” You asked, genuinely curious about his answer, prepared to playfully berate him for his humbleness.     “Theseus.”     “Well, he doesn't seem to think so,” you say.     “But he is,” Newt quipped, whipping his head to look you in the eye. The energy in the room shifted, and though both your brains were fuzzy from wine, you could tell the moment had gone from playful to serious.     “He is,” he continued. “He wanted to become head boy and he did. He strived to be the best auror at the ministry and he is. He wanted Leta and he got her, and when he wanted you, he got you.”     You were silent as you listened, unsure of where exactly Newt was going with his ramblings.     “I could never do that,” he admitted. “If I could, you would be with me now, not him.”     Now it was the wine talking. You were surprised. Newt’s face was red, but at this point, it wasn't clear if it was because he was embarrassed, frustrated, or tipsy.     “What do you mean, Newt?” You asked, your voice soft and sweet. His expression softened, and he looked at you in such a way your heart fluttered in your chest.     “You are so beautiful,” he proclaimed, making your face burn hotter than it already was. “I should have told you that a long time ago. If I were as forthright as Theseus I would have told you I loved you the night we almost kissed a year ago on this couch.”     Newt chuckled at your stunned expression, unable to say a word. “You don’t remember, but you were beautiful then too. You sat right here in my lap and you held my face in your hand and begged me to kiss you. I would have if you weren’t intoxicated. I wanted to talk to you about it the next day but you had already forgotten—”     “I didn't forget,” you spoke finally. Now it was Newt’s turn to be surprised.     “What?”     You put your wine glass down on the coffee table and scooted closer to Newt on the couch. Your knees touched his thigh, but neither of you moved.     “I didn't forget,” you repeat, clearer this time. “We were drinking while Theseus was asleep in his room one night. I had found your family album and we looked at it together when I asked you to kiss me.”     Newt frowned. “If you remember then why didn't you say anything?”     “I was embarrassed,” you reveal. “When you didn't kiss me I thought that I made a fool of myself. That you rejected me. When you didn't say anything afterwards I figured that was it. That you just wanted to forget and stay as friends.”     Newt couldn't believe his ears. All this time you had remembered that night and thought he held no feelings for you. He was spiraling in his head, you could tell by the way he distantly stared into his glass of wine.     “Newt?” You called out to him, taking his glass and replacing it with your hand.     “This is what I mean,” he said finally. “I wasn't determined. If I were like Theseus I would have talked to you regardless of whether or not I thought you remembered. I would have told you how wonderful it felt holding you in my arms and how desperately I wanted to press my lips against yours and taste you on my tongue. I would have told you how much I love you.”     Your stomach turned excitedly at Newt’s words. You squeezed his hand tightly. “Newt...”     He stopped, realizing what he just said. “I...I’m sorry,” he apologized. “I don’t know why I’m saying these things.”     “That would be the veritaserum in the wine,” said a deep voice behind him.     Newt turned around and found his brother, Theseus, standing under the archway to the foyer.     “Theseus,” He stammered and quickly stood to his feet.     “No need to get up, brother,” he said calmly. “It wasn’t as if I didn’t know.”     On the couch, you held up the wine bottle and inspected it. “How did veritaserum get into the wine?”     “I drugged it,” Theseus said simply as he walked past Newt and took a seat across from the couch in an armchair.     “Why the hell would you do that?” You asked Theseus angrily.     “Because this morning you said Newt accepted your invitation to dinner. Because I knew the real reason why Newt hasn't visited me in months is that he feels guilty for loving you knowing you’re with me,” he explained. “And I didn't want to have a Christmas dinner with a brother who resents me and sulks across the table pining for you. So, I put veritaserum in the wine I knew you wanted to drink tonight and left the two of you alone, hoping my baby brother would finally confess his feelings. And he did! Now we all know.”     You shot up from your seat and glared at Theseus. “This is cruel Theseus. You had no right!”     “I will admit it was slightly unethical, but I don’t see the harm in it. Aren’t you glad that Newt confessed his feelings?”     “Yes,” you answered instantly, though, of course, not of your own free will.     Theseus then turned to Newt. “And don't you feel better having finally told her?”     “Yes,” Newt admitted.    Theseus smiled. “Good! Now everything’s better.”     “You aren't upset?” Asked Newt.     Theseus looked at him as though he were confused. “Why would I be upset?”     “You’re not upset that I’m in love with your girlfriend?”     Theseus pursed his lips in thought before shifting his eyes to the half-empty bottle of wine. Standing to his feet, he walked towards the coffee table and grabbed the bottle by the neck. He took a swing of the truth-spiked wine and put it back down.     “Why don’t you ask me again.” He said.     “You’re not upset that I love y/n?” Newt once again asked.     Theseus smiled almost tenderly at his brother. “No.”     The older brother walked back to his chair and sat down, leaving you and Newt stupefied. “I do, however, wonder how you feel, darling.” He said, now turning his attention to you.     You furrowed your brows. “Me?”     “Do you love Newt back?” Asked Theseus.     Newt’s eyes fell on you. Your mouth opened and took a breath in preparation of your answer, but it closed as soon as it happened. Your glare on Theseus sharpened.     “What are you playing at, Theseus?”     “Don’t try fighting it,” he said. “You won't be able to lie so just answer. Do you love him?”     Your eyes flickered over and connected with Newt’s, who was looking at you expectingly. Your eyes softened and the tenseness in your shoulders fell away.     “Yes,” you whispered.     Newt couldn't believe his ears. Everything happening at this moment felt surreal. Just a few minutes ago he thought he had embarrassed himself once again, having confessed his feelings to his brother’s girlfriend right in front of him. He was prepared to be punched and thrown out and for his brother to hate him for the rest of his life. But instead of being angry, Theseus was encouraging him. He encouraged you and finally, he got to hear you say words he’d only dreamt of you saying. You loved him. Oddly enough, despite how it came about, Newt couldn't be happier.     “Kiss her.”     Newt was pulled from his thoughts and his shared gaze with you. You both turned and looked at Theseus who sat cooly in the armchair.     “Didn’t you hear what she said?” He asked. “She loves you! Stop standing there like an idiot and kiss her!”     “Theseus—” you began to speak, but Theseus stopped you.     “It’s okay, love,” he assured you with his gentlest voice. “Let him kiss you.”     The energy in the room for the second time that night, all because of Theseus, who ironically was the calmest person in the room. But there was something about the aura permeating from him that domineered over everyone else. His gaze burned into them as he stared, waiting for Newt to do as he commanded.     Every part of him wanted to turn around and walk out the front door and never speak of this again. He would go home and lay in his bed and do his best to fall asleep and forget everything that happened here tonight. Every part except the one that wanted to turn to his side, take you in his arms, and kiss you the way he should have that night. It was that part of him that won over all his better judgments.    In an instant, Newt’s lips were on yours. He held your face in his hands and pressed his body flat against yours. You were taken aback. You’d even yelped when his lips first touched yours. It was a while before your body finally relaxed and you closed your eyes, leaning into the kiss. Your lips began to move with his and he felt your hands lightly grip the sides of his waist, still unsure.     Theseus leaned back in his chair and said nothing as he watched. Newt’s tongue darted from between his lips and licked a stripe over your own. Your mouth opened for him willingly and he wasted no time exploring your mouth. He moaned at the taste of you. The feeling of your tongue swirling around his made his cock twitch in his pants. You could feel it against your thigh and your breath hitched in your throat.     “Don’t stop,” ordered Theseus with his hand over his pants, palming at the growing hardness straining against the fabric.    Newt kept his mouth on yours, only moving his grip around your face down to your hips. Your hands fisted the fabric of his shirt and you pressed your body into him, yearning to be closer. Newt stumbled back until the backs of his legs hit the couch and he broke away from the kiss to sit down. He spread his legs outwards and pulled you down onto his lap. You straddled his waist and his hips bucked upwards, longing to connect. A soft moan fell from your lips and he swore hadn't heard a more beautiful sound. Soon lips were back on yours.     “Tell her how pretty she is, Newt,” Theseus instructed.     Newt pulled from your feverish kiss and pushed your hair from around your face. “You’re so beautiful, y/n,” he said. You looked down at him through half-lidded eyes dilated with lust. Your lips twitched into a smile as you began salaciously grinding your hips against him, feeling the bulge of his dick against your slick heat. Newt hissed and watched you from below, moving his hips along with you, admiring your form hovering above him as you pulled your sweater over your head and threw it on the floor.     “Show him just how beautiful you are, sweetheart,” Theseus commanded. His voice was low and husky. He watched the two of you closely, palming his own arousal.     It was of no concern to the two of you, however. Newt was so encompassed by you he could barely pay any mind to his brother watching across the room. Of course, there were thoughts screaming in the back of his head telling him how fucked this whole situation was, but they were nothing more than muted whispers compared to you rubbing against his cock.     Just as Theseus commanded you showed Newt how beautiful you were when you took a hand and pulled down one of the straps to your white dress and freed your arm, repeating the same to the other. Taking his hands from your waist you brought them to your chest and helped him pull your dress down around your waist, revealing your breasts.     You felt Newt’s cock jump at the sight of you. He could only stare slack-jawed as you placed his hands over your beasts and guided him in pressing them against each other in a continuous circular motion while you rubbed your clothed clit against him. Your soft pants filled his ears as his low grunts filled yours.     “Newt...” His name fell breathlessly from your lips.     He had pumped his cock to the thought of you moaning his name many times before, but it barely held a candle to what it felt like to hear the real thing. Your name fell from his lips just as easily and he once again captured your lips in a heated kiss while he massaged your breasts.     Across the room, Theseus had his hand wrapped around his cock, slowly sliding it up and down as he watched his girlfriend shamelessly hump his little brother. You were the sexiest thing he’d ever seen. The way your hips moved against Newt could rival even the best of strippers. Your pretty moans filled his ears and he couldn’t help but reminisce about the many times he'd made those same sounds come out of you. To hear it in person is a gift. To feel your lips was a blessing. To feel your tight cunt wrapped around his cock was the best thing a man could ever feel. There is no greater present than fucking you, and Newt didn’t even realize that Theseus had just given his brother the best Christmas gift a man could ask for.     “Tell her what you’re thinking, Newt,” Theseus breathed.     Newt licked his lips. He did his best to gather his thoughts which were wall focused on you.     “Go on,” you said through shaky breaths. “Tell me.”     Newt moaned and pressed a trail of kisses on your bare shoulder and neck. “I’m thinking about how amazing you are,” he grunted out. “I’m thinking about how long I’ve wanted you and how good it feels to finally have you.”      You loved hearing Newt praise you. You loved the feeling of his hands and lips on your hot skin.  “Keep going,” you urged, moving your hands up his chest to unbutton his shirt.     “I think you’re perfect. I think that Theseus doesn't realize how lucky he is to have you,” he said boldly, piquing both your and Theseus’s interest. “You should have been mine. I would take good care of you—f-fuck!”     You had reached the top of his pants and unbuckled his belt, unbuttoning his pants and pulling out his hardened length. He wasn’t bigger than Theseus, but he certainly was thicker. Your hand slid up and down his shaft, only stopping to collect the precum leaking from his tip on your finger to put them in your mouth. He watched in awe as you licked and sucked your fingers clean.     “God, I want you,” he growled in your ear as your hand reached for his cock. “I want to be inside you. I want to feel you,” he said through labored breaths.     “Give him what he wants, love” Theseus spoke up. “Let him feel you.”      You sat up on your knees and hovered over his hips. Pulling your panties to the side with one hand you used the other to guide Newt’s member to your center. Both your breaths caught in your throats when he entered, stretching you open with his thick cock. Feeling you around him was unlike anything he could ever dream or hope. You were slick with arousal and he easily slid in and out of you, filling you up in all the right places. Your moans filled the room as Newt sucked on the supple skin of your neck. His hands and fingernails dug into your soft skin as he held you close and it felt as though the two of you were the only ones in the room.     Newt’s name sweetly slipped past your lips. Yours flittered through the air from his own. His hips rolled into yours with a precision you had no idea he was capable of. If he’d allowed it, the two of you would have lost yourselves in each other, forgetting the third presence in the room. But that wasn't going to happen.     Standing from his seat, Theses moved towards the couple and took a seat next to them on the couch, his hand still wrapped around his dick. “Does it feel good, my love?” He asked you.     “Yes,” you breathed.     “Does my little brother make you feel good? Do you love the way his cock stretches your tight little hole?”     You moaned at his dirty words, lulling your head back as Newt's lips wrapped around your nipple. “Y-yes,” you stammered, your hips rocking faster against Newts. “I love it. I love the way he feels inside me.”     “I know you do,” Theseus hummed, his breaths hastening. “You want him to make you cum don’t you, baby?”     You nodded excitedly and Theseus smirked.     “Newt, help her cum,” he said. “She likes it when you speak to her. It turns her on hearing all the dirty things you’re going to do to her.”     “Is that true?” Newt asked you once he pulled his lips from your pert nipples. “You want to hear all the things I want to do to you? Like how I’m gonna fuck your sweet cunt until you’re shaking a quivering under me? How...How I’m gonna fill you up so full with my cum you’ll end up with twins!”     He and Theseus laughed.     “See,” Theseus chuckled as he lifted the fabric of your skirt to reveal the sight of Newt’s cock pumping in and out of you. “She likes it! Look, she’s so wet your cock is soaked!”     Newt looked down and marveled at how wet you were. You took him so well and his cock disappeared inside you with ease. Newt held the skirts of your dress up so he could watch—so they could both watch.     Theseus’s hand rubbed the inside of your thigh. “Do you want me to touch you too, baby?” He asked politely.     You opened your eyes to look at your handsome boyfriend. He had long since undone his tie and unbuttoned his own shirt. His large cock was being tugged by his right hand and you nearly drooled at the sight of it, suddenly missing the feeling of having it shoved down your throat. You loved it when Theseus touched you. His hands were always precise, knowing exactly where to pinch, caress, and stroke. Like how he was rubbing your thigh right now, knowing how sensitive the skin on that area was for you. Your eyes connected and you ached seeing how dark his once baby-blue eyes had become.     “Yes,” you nodded.     Theseus wasted no time pressing his fingers on your aching clit. He rubbed your most sensitive part while his hand teased his own cock. Between his fingers and Newt’s dick plunging deep inside you, your body buzzed with pleasure. The air in the room grew hot and sticky and a symphony of soft moans, grunts, and pants melded with the sound of skin slapping against skin and the slick wetness of your dripping cunt. You could feel the knot in your stomach tightening and your eyes shut, desperately chasing that feeling.     “Are you close, darling?” Newt asked once he felt you tighten around him.     “Y-yes!”     Theseus’s fingers rubbed faster to help you get there. “Watch her, Newt,” he urged. “When she comes, it’s the most beautiful thing you’ll ever see.”     Newts darkened hazel eyes trained on you. His grip around the dress wrapped around your waist tightened and her wrapped it around his arm and held your hips steady. His hips snapped upwards, changing pace. You bounced on his cock, your moans growing louder and louder.     “Cum for me, please,” Newt begged, now reaching his own release. “Let me see it. I want to see it. Show me, my love. Show me how beautiful you are when you cum. Please show me.”     He pressed open-mouthed kisses on your chest and neck, his eyes never leaving your face. Theseus’s breaths quickened as well, his pace on his cock matching the pace of your hips rising and sinking on Newt’s member. One of your hands wrapped around the base of Newt’s neck, taking a fist full of his hair. The other grabbed Theseus’s wrist and held his hand in place over your clit. A few more pumps and several flicks was all it took for your body to seize up, tightening around Newt's cock as your whole body trembled. Your moans caught in your throat, struggling to escape. The knot inside your stomach had broke and you came harder than you ever had in your life.     Newt came not long after you, sputtering your name as he did so and holding your hips down, burying his dick deeper inside you and making sure every drop of his cum spilled inside. “F-fuck,” he choked out.     Theseus had cum too, clear, white ribbons of his seed spilled into his hand and onto his abs. He wiped up what had spilled with two fingers and held it up to your lips. You were still dizzy from your orgasm, but it didn't stop you from obediently opening your mouth to suck Theseus’s cum from his fingers. Newt watched as you did this. Your skilled tongue licked and wrapped around Theseus’s long fingers promiscuously, ensuring you cleaned up every last drop.  It was enough to get him hard and twitching inside you again.     “That’s a good girl,” praised Theseus with a smile on his lips. “Isn’t she a good girl, Newt?”     “The best,” Newt agreed.     Theseus pulled his fingers from your mouth and replaced them with his tongue by reaching up and pulling you into a deep kiss. It was slow and purposeful, as if he were trying to show off in front of Newt who had no choice but to watch uncomfortably as your tongues swirled passionately in each other’s mouths, earning your soft whimpers. Inside, he hated how much it turned him on.     As you both pulled away, you captured Theseus’s bottom lip between your teeth and playfully tugged it away before letting go. Theseus’s hand quickly flew to tightly wrap around your neck, keeping your eyes trained on him. He smirked. “Look at you, darling. Still asking for more. Aren't you tired?”     Your hand reached down to grip his cock as an answer, making him laugh. His grip around your neck tightened.     “What? Was my brother’s cock not enough for you? You need to have mine as well? Or perhaps you want us both at the same time. Is that it? You need me and my brother to fuck you senseless like the greedy little cock whore you are?”     You clenched at the thought of having both Scamander brothers filling you up at once. Newt felt it and your increasing arousal started to drip down his balls.     “I think she does,” said Newt. “Will that satisfy you, my love? If Theseus and I fucked you within an inch of your life and pumped your selfish cunt full of cum? Tell us you want it.”     You’d never seen this side of Newt. You didn't even think he was capable of saying such filthy things. He was always so sweet and temperate, being shyer than demiguise. But here he was, spurring you on with his debaucherous words. It only made you want him more.     “I want it,” you say and salaciously grind your hips into Newt, making him hiss due to how sensitive he still was.     “Beg,” Theseus demanded. “Tell us how badly you want it.”     Your cheeks burned red hot from embarrassment. Theseus smirked mischievously because he loved watching you squirm. You always begged so nicely for him with your pouty lips and round doe eyes. His little princess. He only wanted Newt to see and appreciate it too.     “Please,” you begged shamelessly. “I want to feel you both inside me. I need to feel it. I want it so bad. I want to make you both feel good.”    “You want to make us feel good?” Theseus repeated. “Such a sweet little girl you are, wanting to please us. But we all know your secret.”     Theseus turned to Newt. “Should we give her what she wants?” He asked.     Newt looked up at your pleading eyes, so sweet and innocent despite them begging for him to fuck you. How could he ever deny you?     “Yes,” he said finally. With that, Theseus picked you up with ease and carried you upstairs to the bedroom. Newt followed behind and once Theseus placed you on the bed he began fully stripping himself of his clothes. Newt followed his brother’s actions, closing the door behind him and peeling off his shirt and pants. You watched them under the candlelight, admiring the two beautiful brothers and their different bodies.     You’d seen Theseus naked a hundred times before but it never ceased to excite you. He was large in every sense of the word. He was tall and had a wide, muscular chest with strong arms and thighs to match. Newt’s body was new and different. Newt was tall as well, only a couple inches shorter than his older brother. Surprisingly, Newt was more muscular and lean. His abs were more pronounced and taut in comparison. Both brothers were freckled, the younger of the two having more of them with accompanying scars. They were beautiful. Having two gorgeous men naked in front of you made you feel nervous and self-conscious. Without realizing it, you had pulled your dress up to cover your body. But Theseus was having none of that.     He crawled over to you on the bed, moving your hands and pulling your dress back down to your waist. Newt sat on the bed as well and pulled the dress down the rest of the way, discarding it on the floor. Theseus trailed kisses up your stomach, chest, neck, and face until he reached your lips. He kissed you passionately and tenderly, reaching for your right hand to intertwine his fingers with yours while Newt peppered soft kisses up your legs and thighs. Their attempt at relaxing you and distracting you from your thoughts worked, and you melded with them both.     “Theseus...” you whispered against his lips because you knew how much he liked hearing it. He shushed you, pecking the corners of your lips.     “Just relax, darling,” he muttered. His hand left yours to grab your thigh, spreading your legs apart.     Newt’s kisses lingered on your inner thigh, nipping, sucking, and biting the sensitive flesh. You trembled under their touch, not sure what to expect next. Theseus hovered over you on your right, covering you with kisses and massaging your breasts while Newt neared dangerously close to your core.     “Such a sweet girl,” Theseus said between kisses.     “I wonder if she tastes just as sweet,” said Newt.     “She does,” Theseus confirmed. “But you’ll just have to taste for yourself.”     The sudden feeling of Newt’s warm tongue licking a licentious stripe along your heat made you gasp. He kissed and sucked on your lower lips, occasionally darting his tongue in and out of your entrance. He licked up and down your dripping cunt before finally swirling his tongue around your clit. Your hips bucked and twitched as he drew figure-eights with his tongue over your sensitive bud. Theseus held your right leg while Newt held down your left, ensuring you kept your legs open for them.    “F-fuck, Newt,” you sighed and closed your eyes, resting your head back into the fluff of the pillow.     Theseus was sucking the skin at the crook of your neck, determined to leave a mark. His hand on your thigh trailed closer and closer to your center until his skilled fingers reached your entrance under Newt's chin. He easily slid his longest digit inside and curled it upwards, instantly finding that spot he knew so well. He pumped his finger in and out, making sure to brush against your g-spot. Soon he added another finger and quickened his pace. Between Newt’s assault on your clit and Theseus’s fingers deep inside you, you were ambushed by another orgasm. White flashed behind your eyes and your hips spasmed. Newt sucked on your clit and Theseus vigorously fingered your hole as you rode out your high until you became too sensitive to touch and begged them to stop.     “No, no, no, baby,” Theseus muttered in your ear. “We can’t stop now,” he said. “We haven't fucked you within an inch of your life’ yet.” You could hear the smirk in his voice. They weren't done with you yet.     Newt came up from between your legs and kissed you, letting you taste yourself on his lips. “Can you taste it?” he asked. “Your sweetness. I can’t get enough of it. I don’t think I ever will.”     Your lips chased his, wanting him to kiss you deeper. You were sandwiched between the two men, Theseus at your back, and Newt before you. You felt Theseus’s cock press flush against your ass while Newt's poked between your legs.     “Are you ready for us, darling?” Theseus asked as he nibbled at your ear.     “Yes,” you answered against Newt’s lips before he slid his tongue back down your throat.     Being as gentle as they could, the two brothers eased their cocks inside of you, introducing you to a whole new sensation. You had never been stretched out like this, with two cocks filling your holes at once. It was strange and slightly uncomfortable at first. They knew this, which is why they took their time, distracting you with their mouths and whispering sweet nothings in your ear, and ensuring you were okay.     “You’re doing so well,” they’d say.     “You feel so good.”     “You’re so wonderful, darling.”     “Are we hurting you, sweetheart?”     “Relax for us, my love.”     Theseus’s hand once again found your clit and he began lightly circling it with his fingers to give you some relief. It didn't take long for it to work and your body opened up for them with ease. They pushed deeper inside, inch by inch until they were fully sheathed in your flesh. They both whispered their own set of curses, letting out soft grunts and moans as they began slowly rocking their hips into you.     “Fuuuck,” Theseus moaned. “This ass is so fucking tight. You’re being so good for us, darling.”     “So, so good, love,” panted Newt. “You make us feel so good.”     Your high-pitched mewls and pretty sighs were like music to their ears. They completely engulfed you, body and soul. The world simply slipped away and nothing else mattered besides them, Theseus and Newt, making you feel better than you had ever felt before. You couldn't get enough of them, nor could they get enough of you. You were intoxicated by their scent, their bodies, and their moans. In your minds, you all tried to comprehend how lucky you all were to be in this moment. Nothing could be better than this. Nothing.     “This is it, isn't it?” Theseus panted in your ear. “Your secret. You’ve always wanted this. To have your holes stretched out by our cocks. Does it excite you, my darling, fucking two brothers? One just wasn't enough, was it? You had to have both. Well, now you have it. Now you’re taking our cocks like the good little girl you are, just like you wanted because we decided to give it to you. You should thank us. Go on and thank us, darling. Tell us how much you appreciate being filled up and fucked, blinded by your own pleasure.”     “T-th...Thank you,” you choked out, tears brimming your waterline. “Thank you so much! I wanted this. I always wanted this!”     “Good girl,” Newt praised, pressing a kiss on your forehead. “Such a good, good, girl for us. We’re glad to give it to you...Whatever you want, y/n. Whatever you want—a-ah!”      Newt’s thrusts got faster and sloppier, as did Theseus’s. They both worked hard to bury themselves deep inside you. It came to a point where both their cocks were brushing against your g-spot, one after the other. You felt the knot in your core again, that delicious, evanescent knot tightening, ticking like a bomb about to explode and send you to your euphoric escape.     “Oh, God!” You gasped, digging your nails into the skin of Newt’s back and Theseus’s thighs. “Don’t stop! P-please...right there! S-Shit, I love you!” You proclaimed. “Both of you. God, I love both of you so much!”     This seemed to excite them even more, something you didn't know was possible. They thrust into you faster than they ever had before, their winded breaths filling your ears.     “I love you,” Newt breathed. “So...so much...More than anything.” He kissed your lips.     “I love you too, darling,” grunted Theseus. “My sweet girl...Always.” He kissed your lips too.     In that moment the three of you bonded, body and soul. You all came at once, their bodies falling flush against you, twitching in satisfaction. For a while you just lay there as they held you and listened to the sound of their breaths while you waited for the sweet, buzzing feeling to dim. When it did, Theseus got up to fetch a towel from the bathroom, leaving you and Newt cuddled up on the bed, whispering sweetly to one another. They helped clean you up and embraced you with their warmth. You just stared at them, sharing kisses, twirling hair, giggling, holding hands, and gazing lovingly into their eyes. There wasn't much to say. You all knew. You didn’t need to say it. You could feel it in the room. You were complete.     “Do you smell something burning?” Theseus asked suddenly. You and Newt sniffed the air and your eyes widened like saucers.    “THE FUCKING TURKEY!” You gasped, and struggled your way out from between your two lovers, picking one of their shirts from off the floor to cover yourself as you ran downstairs to save what was left of your forgotten Christmas dinner.     Newt and Theseus smiled to themselves and chuckled. There was an awkward silence as they lay there alone, both unsure of what to say or do next.     “I do know how lucky I am, by the way.” Theseus was the first to speak.     “I know,” said Newt.     Theseus turned to his brother. “You can be lucky too...If you want.”     Newt blinked, not fully believing he’d heard what he thought he heard.     “She loves you,” said Theseus.     “She loves you too,” Newt reminded him.     “I know. And we both love her.”     “And we both love her.”      It was as simple as that.     “Thank you, Theseus,” said Newt.     Theseus scoffed and playfully pushed Newt’s shoulder.     “Happy Christmas, Newt.”     “Happy Christmas, Theseus.”

warnings: none :)

“You have a bowtruckle in your pocket.”
Newt halts in his fiddling with the locks on his case and looks up at you through the wispy, caramel hair that’s constantly obscuring his eyes from your view. You’re perched on one of Tina and Queenie’s dining room chairs. Jacob carried it into the living room for you earlier when you all first arrived. Newt had offered you his seat on the well-worn, but plush lounge, but you had refused, stating that you can handle having a conversation without a cushion, thank you very much.
Your legs are crossed daintily at the ankles, and you lean forward as you consider Newt. Or, more specifically, Pickett, who has clambered up his shoulder to huddle shyly behind his neck. Only the creature’s eyes and the sprig on top of his head can be seen, and you smile sweetly when you make eye contact. Newt blinks at the way your perfectly curled hair flutters around your eyes like curtains in the breeze when you move. He can tell you’re curious, and realizes that you’ve never seen a bowtruckle before. The corner of his mouth turns up fondly at the thought.
“That I do,” he responds, shifting in his crouch as he finishes locking up his case.
“Why?”
Newt finds himself blinking once again at the bluntness of your question, and he tilts his head up to look at you fully. Your gaze meets his inquisitively, and he’s quick to look back down before you can see the blush spreading across his cheeks. He rolls out of his crouch with a small sigh until he’s sitting on the ground with his back against the lounge, legs spread out in front of him. “Well,” he starts, “I keep bowtruckles in my case, but Pickett has what Queenie calls ‘attachment issues.’”
You raise your eyebrows and an amused smile creeps across your face. “Attachment issues,” you repeat, encouraging him to elaborate.
Newt backtracks, eyes flicking to the ceiling as he thinks of a way to explain. He holds his hand up in front of his shoulder, encouraging Pickett to wrap his spindly limbs around his thumb and pull himself up. Once his little friend is standing comfortably on his palm, Newt runs a gentle finger over the sprout at the top of his head. “He doesn’t like his tree,” he clarifies simply.
You chuckle softly and lean forward out of your chair to get a closer look. “But aren’t bowtruckles guardians of their trees?” you ask. A pleased warmth spreads through Link’s chest at your knowledge of one of his creatures. You laugh again when he nods in confirmation. “Why doesn’t he like his tree?”
“He says the other bowtruckles bully him.” Newt shifts to cradle Pickett in both of his hands and sits up, crossing his legs. He regards you with a small smirk, green eyes twinkling with mischief. “But I have a suspicion that he’s actually just sensitive.” He whispers the last part as if it’s a secret, making you giggle and Pickett whirl around to glare adorably at his keeper.
Newt frowns right back down at him. “What?” he asks incredulously. “You and I both know it’s true.” You’re absolutely delighted when the bowtruckle blows a raspberry, and Newt rolls his eyes good-naturedly. “Again, that behavior is so beneath you, Pickett.”
You snicker and slide off of the dining chair and to the floor so you’re sitting next to Newt on one hip, with both of your legs folded on top of each other. The magizoologist flushes bright red from the tips of his ears to his chest when you settle next to him, despite you maintaining a respectable distance between the two of you. He’s glad you’re too occupied with mesmerizing Pickett to notice his current state—The little creature had shied away from you when you first moved closer, but now he’s watching in fascination as you conjure flowers about the size of the pads of Newt’s fingers out of the tip of your wand. Pickett watches them all the way as they shoot up to the ceiling only to gently float back down to the floor.
“So,” You shoot a baby blue flower across the room, causing Pickett to reel around in search of it, “Does that make you Pickett’s tree?”
Newt whips his head around to look at you with wide, green eyes. “What?” he splutters. You grin at his reaction and unthinkingly magick an array of tiny, yellow flowers to rain around Pickett. The soft petals tickle Newt’s hands when the flowers land in them, and he finds he quite likes the feeling.
“Like I said,” you continue, “bowtruckles live to guard their trees. And if Pickett is always with you…” You fix him with a teasing smile underneath your lashes, “...that makes you his tree.”
Newt gapes at you, jaw moving up and down as he tries in vain to come up with something to respond with. What does one say when a beautiful acquaintance compares you to a tree? He swallows to clear his dry mouth and mumbles: “I suppose it does.”
Your lips spread into a wide smile and you snicker giddily at the baffled expression on the magizoologist’s face. At this point, Pickett has clambered up the lapels of Newt’s white collared shirt so he’s perched on his collarbone. And while you look back at the creature, Newt finds it impossible for him to tear his gaze from you. You twirl your fingers in a “hello” to Pickett, and if his heart wasn’t already melting at that small movement, the way your nose crinkles when you smile warms him completely. Newt’s mouth twitches up once again, and this time a glint of his teeth shines through his smile.
A breathy laugh escapes from his lips when you raise your wand and resume your flower shower. You look back at him at the sound, smile dropping slightly when you see the way Mr. Scamander is looking at you.
You’ve only known him for a couple of days, but from what you’ve seen, he’s never held a significant amount of eye contact with anyone. He tends to keep his head bowed, raising his eyes only for certain amounts of necessary eye contact. This close, you can see flecks of golden-brown hidden in his forest green eyes, like the first hints of autumn that appear in September. You find yourself searching for every last one of the beautiful imperfections while he maintains stunned eye contact with you. You get to see up close as his eyes soften, beholding you as if for the first time.
Newt’s eyes flick down to your lips briefly before raising back up to yours, and your cheeks flame at the minuscule gesture. You look down at your lap in an attempt to hide your flaming cheeks and notice Newt doing the same out of the corner of your eye.
“Miss (l/n)?” Newt’s quiet, husky voice penetrates your being, and you stop tapping your knee nervously. You look back up at him through your lashes to let him know you heard him and his eyes falter from his own lap to your eyes and then back again before he smiles bashfully. “Would you like to meet the rest of my creatures?”
A soft, but still shy smile spreads across your face. “I would love to.”
A full-on grin breaks across Newt’s face and he scrambles to his feet, gently guiding Pickett up until he’s perched on his shoulder. Then, he holds out a hand to you, and you smile as you allow him to pull you to your feet. Neither of you are quick to let go of the other’s hand, and you find you quite like the feel of his worked, calloused fingers in yours.
Newt’s the one who lets go first, but it’s only to reach down and flick the locks of his battered case back open. You watch as he pries it open and lets the top end fall to the floor with a thump. He stands back up to his full height and huffs out a breath and you look at him curiously when you feel him look back at you with a subtle smile. “Ready?” he asks.
Your heart flutters, and you feel like the sudden lightness in your chest has the power to lift you off the ground. “Ready.”
~*~
Jacob steps over the Goldstein’s threshold with a relieved groan and holds the door open for Queenie. He scans the living room tiredly, and what he sees has him suddenly much more awake. His jaw drops slightly, but he schools himself enough to say, “Um…Queen?”
“Hm?” Queenie bounces clumsily into the flat after him. She catches Jacob’s shoulder to stop herself from tripping over her own two feet, and her blue eyes widen as she takes in the living room. “Oh, dear.”
“‘Oh dear?’” Jacob parrots, closing the door behind his girlfriend. “What the hell happened in here?” When the two of them and Tina had left two hours before, the Goldstein’s living room was meticulously clean, thanks to the elder of the two sisters. Now, it looks like a meadow exploded. What seems like thousands of flowers lay scattered across the carpet and the furniture, most of them concentrated around Newt’s closed case in the middle of the floor.
Queenie’s careful as she walks further into the room, for some reason doing her best not to step on the tiny blossoms. “We’re lucky Teeny got called in,” she chimes. “I’m sure she wouldn’t be happy to see this.” She snorts softly and then giggles, returning to her examination of the sitting room-turned-field. “I just don’t know why either of ‘em woulda done it.”
Jacob turns around in a slow circle, face still scrunched up comically. “Where the hell are they?”
Queenie squints when she frowns. “I don’t know.” Her eyes flick down to Newt’s case laying inconspicuously in the middle of the carpet. She grins toothily and hums at her epiphany before scurrying over to the case and kneeling in its surrounding flowers.
“Don’t tell Newt I did this,” she whispers as she points her wand at the case and mutters, “Alohomora.” The locks flip open with a satisfying click, and Jacob walks over to join Queenie in peering down into Newt’s garden shed.
Queenie then proceeds to tip the entire top half of her body over the side of the case so her torso is dangling over the edge and into the other world.
Jacob splutters and grabs hold of the back of her calves just as she starts to slide. “Jesus, Queen, what’re you doin’?” he hisses, keeping his voice down in case Newt is close to the shed.
“Whoops!” is the only explanation she gives. Jacob sighs tiredly.
“There are a lot easier ways to do this, you know. Like climbing down the ladder.”
Queenie ignores him and turns her head to the side, blonde curls swishing into her face as she does. She blows harshly to get them to fall back out of her eyes before stilling once again, blue eyes flicking around the shed as she searches the thoughts of the different creatures in Newt’s tiny world.
It doesn’t take her long to find the two of you, but one, simple word reigns supreme:
Pretty.
Queenie smiles as the warm feeling you and Newt are taken with fills her up like a balloon. She swings herself back up into the apartment, and Jacob rips his hands off of her legs to avoid being sat on. Yours and Newt’s thoughts die down until all she can feel is Jacob’s confusion and Mrs. Esposito’s frustration because apparently Janey downstairs brought another boy in without permission.
Jacob frowns when he sees the way Queenie is smiling. “What?” he asks. She huffs and shrugs, still smiling, and Jacob raises his eyebrows at her slightly-crazed state. Her bob is now more of a frizzy pom-pom look and she’s practically twitching with excitement as what she just felt whips through her head like a summer storm.
“We best not bother those two for a while,” is her only explanation.

Summary: Y/N and Newt have been friends for a long time, and for almost as long, Y/N has also had a crush on Newt's older brother Theseus. Years and years later, after their Hogwarts days, several run-ins with Grindelwald, the death of Leta Lestrange, and the wedding of Queenie and Jacob, Newt is still subverting Ministry rules in the name of helping his creatures. And, as usual, Y/N is an accomplice in his schemes. So, when Newt goes running out the door with his creatures and Jacob in tow, it falls to Y/N to distract Theseus and keep him from following Newt's trail. And this distraction might just lead to a bigger change than any of them bargained for.

Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
"What do we do?"
"I don't know!"
I looked between Newt and Jacob as they debated, coming off as a little bit more than panicked. They needed to get out of here with Newt's briefcase, without getting held up by the Ministry of Magic. Unfortunately for both of them (and me), Theseus was on his way here as we spoke, and there was no doubt he'd slow down the boys' mission.
"Why is your brother coming after us in the first place?" demanded Jacob.
"Because technically, what we're doing here is illegal. The Ministry of Magic has specific procedures they want me to follow before releasing any of my creatures into their natural habitats, but this time, waiting for their bureaucracy to process things will take too long. My newest rescue won't do well waiting around in captivity for longer than they already have," answered Newt. Jacob looked more stressed than he'd been before.
"Oh great!"
"You two get out of here," I said, jumping into the middle of their argument after watching their back-and-forth for a while. "I'll stay here and slow down Theseus."
They both stopped what they were doing and turned to stare at me, incredulous expressions on their faces. After a few beats of silence, the three of us just looking between one another, Newt spoke up.
"Y/N, are you sure?"
"Yeah, Newt, I'm sure. I can distract him just fine, and you guys need to get out of here. You need Jacob for this a little more than you need me, and I can always meet up with you both later."
Newt stared at me for a few moments, then closed all the distance between us to clasp a hand on my shoulder. He met my eyes with an earnest look, and it made my heart warm to see my best friend like that.
"Thank you, Y/N."
"Of course. Just be safe, the both of you."
Newt nodded, his way of promising, before heading out the door, Jacob with him. I watched them go, and then just like that, I was alone in our little loft hideout.
I'd been best friends with Newt for the majority of my life. Since Hogwarts, in fact. He and I got along like wildfire, and had since our first year together at Hogwarts. I would do anything for him. Theseus and I, on the other hand, were a different story.
I'd had a crush on my best friend's older brother for basically our entire time at Hogwarts. Theseus, on the other hand, had barely noticed me beyond my role as his kid brother's friend, and our relationship had only cooled as I'd spent more time helping Newt and less time fawning over him. In the wake of Leta Lestrange's death, however, Newt and Theseus had gotten close again, and I'd done my best to be there for both of them as well. Theseus and I had gotten to the point of actually being able to call each other friends recently, and I only hoped my decision to distract him today in order to give Newt a clean getaway wouldn't ruin that new step in our relationship.
Oh well. Sometimes, there was no other option but to back your crazy best friend's crazy play, no matter the cost.
I paced around the room for a few minutes, trying to brace myself to see Theseus, but before I was anywhere near ready I heard a loud knock at the door. I couldn't help jumping, but then I did my best to quickly compose myself and went to answer it.
"Theseus!" I said, feigning surprise when I saw the serious face of the Auror before me. He kept trying to lean around me to see inside the little apartment Newt and I had turned into a temporary hideout, and I kept leaning to block him. "What a surprise! It's so good to see you, it's been so long!"
"Y/N, where's my brother?" he demanded, his eyes at last settling on me instead of the space behind me. I fought back a gulp as I forced a smile onto my face instead.
"Newt? Uh... I haven't seen Newt in a while now, actually. I thought he was spending some family time with you?"
Theseus gave me a look that clearly said he wasn't buying any of my nonsense.
"We both know he's not spending time with me. He's been hiding out with you while planning some nonsensical scheme that's going to get both him and his muggle friend into deep trouble. Now tell me where he is."
"What? I mean, uh..."
"Y/N, I'm sorry, but I don't have time for this."
With that, he stepped forward, forcing me to step back or else be run straight into. He pushed into the living room, leaving me standing by the open door behind him, then poked his head into the kitchen in search of Newt.
"Newt! Come out, we need to talk!" he called. He stopped, apparently deciding Newt wasn't in the kitchen, before heading into the living room. I rolled my eyes and closed the front door.
"Please, come right in and make yourself comfortable," I deadpanned. Theseus just shot me a look over his shoulder as he continued to move around my living room. I huffed a sigh, but got dragged back into action as Theseus made his way across the room, getting closer to the back door Newt and Jacob had disappeared out of. If he got there, to the spot they'd left from, odds were significantly higher he'd be able to track them down, especially with a little magical help.
I just needed to buy Newt a little more time. He and Jacob were catching a portkey in twenty minutes, and if Theseus couldn't get to them before that, they'd be in the clear.
"So, uh, the Ministry is still trying to prevent the release of some animals, yeah? That's uh... that's what this whole thing is about?"
"My brother is trying to release dangerous animals into the wild," said Theseus, not halting his search through my living room. I took a few steps closer to him as they spoke. "Keeping them safe in his sanctuary is one thing, but turning them loose on the world is another..."
"I've met all of those animals, none of them seem particularly dangerous to me," I countered, crossing the room all the way to Theseus now. I moved in front of him, standing between him and his search of the top of my fireplace mantle. His eyes landed on me, an exasperated expression on his face.
"Y/N, please. Newt just needs to get a permit, and go through the proper channels. Then he can release whatever animals he wants."
I couldn't help rolling my eyes. "Oh please, you and I both know the Ministry will take ages. Some of those animals will be much better off if they're released now, and not a year from now."
"All the same, I need to do my job and get my brother back. Then maybe I can help him get his permit expedited, but until then, he has to wait. So, if you're done attempting to stall me..."
With that, he turned to start hunting through the rest of my living room, following Newt's trail. I moved after him, hovering over his every step and trying to erase any trace of Newt when I caught it before Theseus.
"Actually, I'm not done stalling you. I think we should talk a little more. Now that we're back to being friendly, you know, I think-"
"Nice try, Y/N, but it's not going to work," said Theseus, a slight smile on his face as he continued to make his way through my living room. "I can talk to you and search for my brother at the same time."
I looked around the room for some sign of inspiration to slow down Theseus, but started to panic as he headed for the door Newt and Jacob had left through. He flung it open and was about to walk out, which meant I had to do something, now.
"Wait!" I cried, rushing across the room towards him. He paused with a sigh and turned back to me, wand in-hand and ready to track Newt and Jacob.
"Y/N, I'm sorry, but I really can't stick around right now. I have a job to do."
"Okay, but just one second. This is important!" I said, slipping into the doorway between him and his target. He leaned forward and into my space, and I couldn't help feeling a little giddy at his proximity. I blame that feeling for clouding my judgment and impacting my next decision.
"What is it, Y/N?" he asked. I panicked, trying to think of something, but I couldn't focus on anything beyond the handsome, wonderful man in front of me and the fact that I could NOT let him through the door. He sighed and took a half step forward, placing his hand gently on my waist to move me aside, and I did the only thing that came to mind.
I grabbed Theseus' shoulders, leaned up, and kissed him full on the mouth.
My brain short circuited all over again as we kissed, and I swear fireworks surrounded us. Then, a moment later, reality set in. I jerked away from Theseus and my hand flew to my mouth, horror sinking in at my actions. I couldn't believe I'd just done that.
"Theseus..." I looked up at him to find him staring blankly off into the space just over my shoulder, looking completely shocked. "Oh my God... I am so, SO sorry!"
Theseus didn't respond, which got rid of any of the remaining fireworks lingering around me. I couldn't believe I'd just done that. Theseus and I had just started to get to a place where we had a good relationship, and I'd probably just destroyed it.
"Theseus, please, I'm so sorry. I know I shouldn't have done that. I just... I needed to keep you from going after Newt, and... and it was the only thing I could think to do. Oh God." I facepalmed. Then, against the rational part of my brain screaming to let me give it control again, I kept talking. "I- well, I've had a crush on you since we were kids, and we were standing so close together and it's like my mind went blank, and it was the only thing I could think of-"
My ramble finally, mercifully got cut off as Theseus wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me back to his side of the doorway before pushing me up against the wall right next to it. Before I could get my brain restarted, he was kissing me, with a level of passion and emotion that I'd only ever dreamed about.
Once I got over my own shock, I wasted no time kissing him back. I tangled my hands in his hair as his grip tightened around my waist, and we stayed like that for a long few moments before finally coming up for air.
We were breathing hard as we met each others' eyes, our faces barley an inch apart. He seemed as shocked as me that we'd actually just done that, and I couldn't help the joyful laugh that bubbled out of me.
"Theseus... what was that?" I asked, a smile steadily growing on my face as I fondly ran my hand through his hair again. He smiled back at me, a slightly sheepish grin on his face even though he looked just as happy as I did.
"I've had feelings for you for a few months now," he breathed. "I didn't know how to tell you, since we'd just gotten back on friendly terms and I didn't want to ruin anything..."
"I've been doing the same thing," I said. We shared disbelieving laughs, and I surveyed Theseus fondly while he looked me up and down with the same care. Theseus leaned in and rested his forehead against mine, the smile still on his face and his voice still a little breathless when he spoke.
"So... I kind of need to go chase my brother now, but... any chance you'd let me take you to dinner tomorrow night?"
I beamed back at him, leaning up to give him a light, soft kiss before responding.
"I'd love that, Theseus."
"Good! Great. Then... it's a date."
"It's a date."
We shared another smile, Theseus still looking a little giddy as he at last stepped away from me and moved towards the door again. The sweet smile turned into more of a smirk as he took one step outside, on his way to follow the path his brother had taken not long ago.
"So... you're not going to try to stop me going after Newt anymore?" he asked, a little of the confident swagger I loved so much back in his tone and body language.
"No," I said with a shrug. "He's gotten far enough away by now that you can't catch him."
Theseus groaned and looked up at the sky, then settled his gaze back on me.
"I hope you're wrong, Y/N. But if you're not... you're buying the first round of drinks as compensation."
"You're on," I replied with a grin of my own. "Have fun on your wild goose chase! Don't let the Ministry people get you down. Newt's doing the right thing."
Theseus just sighed, although he wasn't quite able to keep a fond smile off his face. Whether it was for me, his brother, or the both of us, I wasn't sure.
He gave me one last smile and nod before finally heading all the way out the door, shutting it behind him as he resumed his work. I smiled after him and slowly sank down the wall, my fingers brushing over my lips where Theseus' had just been. It didn't seem quite real to me that the past few minutes had really happened, but I knew for a fact it was real. And that I had a date with Theseus Scamander tomorrow night.
Newt was never going to believe me when I told him the story. Helping him with his crazy shenanigans had never turned out so well.

Hello! This is something I wrote up the other night cause I feel there isn't a whole lot about Callum Turner. This is just an intro and if you guys like it I will write more! Enjoy.
A knot of anxiety tightened in the pit of your stomach as the soft morning light poured through your apartment's transparent drapes and spread across the space. You had decided to meet up with your ex-boyfriend today, and while you were excited about the possibility, you were also worried. The nerves were unshakeable. And if things went wrong? What if you felt exposed and raw because old wounds reopened? You felt a mixture of excitement and fear at the prospect of confronting your history. You grabbed the bag tremblingly and made your way toward the door, each step felt more difficult than the last. You took a deep breath and ventured out onto Manhattan's busy streets, ready to take on whatever the day might bring. Even with all of your anxiety, there was a glimmer of optimism that perhaps, just possibly, this encounter would provide the closure you had been longing for.
You rounded the corner, lost in thought, only to crash into someone coming from the opposite direction. Your bag and other items fell to the ground, and you let out a startled gasp, your heart racing as you struggled to regain your balance. "I'm so sorry!" you exclaimed, crouching down to gather your fallen belongings, cheeks flushing with embarrassment. A stranger knelt beside you, offering a friendly smile as he helped collect the scattered books. "No worries, happens to the best of us," he said, his voice warm and reassuring. As you reached for a stray book, your fingers brushed against his, sending a strange jolt of electricity through you. You looked up, meeting the stranger's gaze, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still. "Thomas," he introduced himself, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. "Nice to meet you, Thomas," you replied, returning the smile, though your heart still raced from the unexpected encounter. You packed up your things and headed to the coffee shop nearby, memories of the unexpected encounter with Thomas still circling around in your thoughts. The smell of freshly ground beans wafted through the door, a soothing reminder of the familiar scent that still danced in your stomach. Your ex was already there, seated at a corner table, their gaze fixated on their phone as they waited for you. As you approached, a wave of conflicting emotions washed over you—nostalgia mingled with apprehension, memories of both laughter and heartache flooding your mind. With a forced smile, you greeted them, sliding into the seat opposite theirs. The air between you crackled with unspoken words, a silent tension that hung heavy in the space between you.
"Hey, it's been a while," you greet him as you meet up, trying to keep your voice steady. "Yeah, it has. Thanks for meeting up," he responds casually. The conversation continues, the usual pleasantries exchanged, but there's an underlying tension you can't shake. Finally, unable to hold it back any longer, you ask him, "Why did you even bring me here? If all you wanted was to check in, why did you make it seem like there was something more?" His expression falters, caught off guard by your question. "I... I didn't mean to mislead you. I genuinely just wanted to make sure you were okay," he stammers, apologetic. You shake your head, unable to hide the hurt in your voice. "It's just... it's hard, you know? To see you and not feel like there's still something between us. And then to find out that there isn't... it hurts." He's at a loss for words, realizing the impact of his actions. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize... I'll leave you alone. Goodbye," he murmurs, before walking away, leaving you feeling more confused and hurt than ever. As you gather your things, a heaviness settles in your chest, and you wonder if closure will ever come, knowing you need to find the strength to move on from what could have been. As you stepped out onto the bustling city streets, the weight of the conversation with your ex still heavy on your mind, your phone buzzed in your pocket, interrupting the tumultuous thoughts swirling within you. With a sigh, you pulled it out to see your best friend's name flashing on the screen. "Hey," you answered, trying to sound more composed than you felt. "Hey, are you free tonight?" your friend's voice came through the line, laced with excitement. You hesitated, the events of the day leaving you feeling drained and emotionally spent. The last thing you wanted was to put on a brave face and pretend like everything was okay. But then again, maybe a night out with your best friend was exactly what you needed—a chance to escape the weight of your thoughts and lose yourself in the simple pleasures of the present moment."Yeah, I think I could use a distraction," you admitted reluctantly, a small smile tugging at the corners of your lips."Great! I'll swing by your place in a couple of hours. Get ready for a night to remember!" your friend exclaimed. With a newfound sense of anticipation, you hung up the phone and headed back to your apartment, the promise of a night out with your best friend offering a glimmer of light in the darkness. Maybe, just maybe, tonight would be the reset button you needed—a chance to leave the worries of the past behind and embrace the joy of the present.
You found yourself standing in front of the mirror, struggling with a whirlwind of contradictory feelings as the evening approached and the possibility of spending the night out with your best friend grew closer. You were feeling uneasy about the day's events and your head was still spinning from the encounter with your ex. A nagging thought of your brief interaction with Thomas earlier in the day crept into the corners of your mind as you started getting ready, carefully applying makeup and choosing the perfect dress. His name stirred feelings you'd tried to push under the surface of the evening's distractions, resonating in your mind like a whisper on the wind. However, you soon dismissed the concept, telling yourself there was little to no chance of ever seeing him again. Considering the size of New York City, the likelihood of a coincidental meeting on the streets was minimal at most. You gave a resolute shake of your head to drive away any thoughts of Thomas and bring your attention back to the task at hand. It was a night to let go of the past and embrace the present, with your best friend by your side. As your best friend's taxi pulled up outside your apartment building, you felt a surge of excitement mingled with apprehension. Rushing out to meet her, you greeted her with a warm smile, the events of the day momentarily pushed to the back of your mind as you embraced the promise of the night ahead. "Hey, thanks for picking me up," you said, sliding into the back seat of the taxi beside her."No problem at all! Ready for a fun night out?" she replied, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Definitely," you answered, the corners of your lips turning up into a grin. "It's been a long day, but I'm ready to let loose." As the taxi merged into the flow of traffic, the two of you engaged in light-hearted small talk, discussing everything from work gossip to weekend plans. The hum of the city buzzed around you, a comforting backdrop to the easy camaraderie you shared with your friend. Before you knew it, the taxi pulled up outside a cozy-looking jazz bar, its neon sign casting a warm glow against the evening sky. The sound of live music spilled out onto the sidewalk, beckoning you inside with promises of soulful melodies and lively atmosphere. "Here we are!" your friend exclaimed, excitement evident in her voice as she paid the fare and stepped out onto the sidewalk. You followed suit, a sense of anticipation building in the pit of your stomach as you made your way towards the entrance of the bar.
As you and your best friend settled onto the barstools, the soft glow of the jazz bar enveloping you, you couldn't help but feel grateful for her comforting presence. Ordering a round of cocktails, you took a moment to savor the lively atmosphere and the anticipation of the night ahead."So, spill the tea," your best friend exclaimed, leaning in with a mischievous grin. "How did the conversation with your ex go?" You took a deep breath, knowing that your best friend was never one to mince words. "It was... okay, I guess," you replied, swirling the ice in your glass. "He just wanted to check in and make sure there were no hard feelings." Your friend's eyebrows shot up in disbelief. "Seriously? That's it?" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with incredulity. "After everything he put you through, that's all he has to say?" You shrugged, feeling a mixture of frustration and resignation. "Yeah, pretty much. But I guess it's for the best," you replied, trying to keep your tone light. Your best friend shook her head, her expression one of fierce determination. "You deserve so much better than that," she declared, her voice ringing with conviction. "You deserve someone who sees your worth and treats you like the queen you are." You couldn't help but smile at her words, feeling a warmth spread through you at the unwavering support of your best friend. Raising your glasses in a silent toast, you clinked them together with a sense of solidarity. "To better days and finding someone who truly deserves you," your friend proclaimed, her eyes sparkling with determination. "To better days," you echoed. As you clinked glasses with your best friend, the vibrant energy of the jazz bar pulsed around you, filling the air with a sense of anticipation and excitement. With a shared grin, your friend grabbed your hand and led you towards the small area where people were swaying to the rhythm of the live band. But as you followed her, your gaze inadvertently drifted towards the entrance, and there, amidst the dimly lit crowd, you caught a glimpse of a familiar figure. It was him—Thomas, the man you had bumped into earlier on the street. And to your surprise, he was looking right back at you. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as your eyes met, the connection crackling with an unspoken electricity that sent a shiver down your spine. His gaze was intense, unwavering, as if drawn to you by some unseen force. As the realization of the moment sunk in, a jolt of nervous energy coursed through you, your heart pounding in your chest. What were the odds of running into him again, especially in a city as vast as New York? But before you could gather your thoughts, your best friend tugged on your hand, pulling you towards the dance floor with an excited grin. "Come on, let's dance!" she exclaimed, oblivious to the brief exchange you had just shared. With a fleeting glance back at Thomas, you allowed yourself to be swept away by the music and the infectious energy of the crowd.
As the music swirled around you, you and your best friend danced with abandon, the infectious energy of the jazz band filling the air with an undeniable sense of joy. But as she twirled off to chat with a handsome stranger she'd just met, you found yourself drifting towards the bar, craving the solace of a quiet moment amidst the lively chaos of the club. As you leaned against the polished wood, waiting for the bartender to notice you, a gentle tap on your shoulder caused you to turn around. And there he stood—Thomas, the man whose gaze had lingered in your mind since your chance encounter earlier in the day. "Hey," he said, his voice soft yet filled with an unmistakable intensity. "Hi," you replied, your heart fluttering with a mixture of nerves and curiosity. "Crazy meeting you here." "Yeah, what are the odds?" he chuckled, his eyes meeting yours with a warmth that sent a shiver down your spine. As the two of you fell into an easy conversation, the noise of the bar faded into the background, leaving only the sound of your voices and the steady beat of your heart. It was as if the rest of the world had disappeared, leaving only the two of you in this moment, suspended in time.
"So, how was your day?" Thomas asked, his gaze soft yet filled with an underlying intensity. You hesitated for a moment, surprised by the genuine interest in his eyes. "It was... eventful, to say the least," you replied, a faint smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "I ran into my ex earlier, and let's just say it was more awkward than I anticipated." Thomas nodded, a sympathetic expression crossing his features. "I know the feeling," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness. "My day wasn't exactly sunshine and rainbows either. I found out that my dad is cheating on my mom, and I... I confronted the other woman." Your heart went out to him, the weight of his words hanging heavy in the air. "I'm so sorry," you murmured, reaching out to touch his hand in a gesture of comfort. "That sounds incredibly difficult." Thomas offered you a grateful smile, his eyes meeting yours with a sense of vulnerability that took your breath away. "Thanks," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "It's been a rough day, but talking to you somehow makes it feel a little bit better." You felt a warmth spread through you at his words, a sense of connection blossoming between you like a fragile flower in the darkness. It was strange, this inexplicable bond that had formed between two strangers in the span of a single conversation, but somehow it felt right. Eventually Thomas had ordered you a drink and once you both finished your drinks, he glanced towards the corner of the jazz club, where a vintage photo booth stood, invitingly lit. With a charming smile, he suggested, "Hey, want to check out that photo booth?" Your eyes sparkled with excitement as you nodded eagerly, saying, "I’m always up for a good photoshoot." You both made your way over to the booth, anticipation building with each step. As you stepped inside the cozy space, the curtain closed behind you, cocooning you two in privacy. “Okay what should we do first?” He asks “There's no fun in planning it, I'll just hit start and we will figure it out” you say Laughing, you two tried out different poses, capturing candid moments of joy and connection. The camera flashed, freezing your smiles and laughter in timeless snapshots. As the last photo was about to be taken, Thomas locked eyes with you, a flicker of something intense passing between us. Without breaking the gaze, he slowly lowered his gaze to your lips, a silent question lingering in the air. And in that moment, as if drawn by an irresistible force, he leaned in and gently pressed his lips to yours. Time seemed to stand still as you guys shared a tender, electric kiss in the dimly lit confines of the photo booth, the world outside fading away into insignificance.

Bad Mood {N.S.}
✰ 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Upset reader, Newt being a literal saint despite being yelled at and ignored.
✰ 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Newt Scamander x reader
✰ 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: 1k words
✰ 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: You’ve been in a bad mood lately and Newt wants to get to the bottom of it.
Tumblr media
You woke up kinda cranky and you had no idea why.
Maybe it was hormones, maybe it was nerves since Newt was still in America, maybe you simply woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
You got up, stretched, drank water, and checked the counter where your owl, Oliver, always put the Daily Prophet and a letter from Newt. Every morning while he was gone.
Except Newt hadn’t written you a letter the day before.
That just soured your mood even more.
You spent the entire day trying to tidy up and not think about it.
It was something that even Diagon Alley couldn’t fix. Diagon Alley has been your favorite place to be since... forever! It would seem stressful to others but it’s nice once you get used to the crowds, the noise, the vendors.
Everything just makes sense there even when it doesn’t.
You bought ice cream and moodily went home, hardly acknowledging everyone you knew in the most magical place in the world.
You got home and cuddled with your cat in the dark silence of your bedroom. You did your best to go to bed and, eventually, fell into a dreamless sleep.
The next day the Daily Prophet and a letter from Newt.
A letter from... Newt.
Nope.
Ignore.
He ignored you and you knew he could take it.
And before you knew it you had a pile of letters from him on the counter over the next two weeks.
You stared at the pile of letters, biting your nails nervously. You had no idea what to say or where to start even if you did.
So you waited until he got home.
It had been two months by that point.
You weren’t even home when he walked through the door and it just made Newt worry about you more.
He had been worried since you stopped writing to him but he held out hope.
Hope that you’d write back.
Hope that you were okay.
And when you walked in with groceries, almost dropping everything when you saw him, he couldn’t help but smile.
You put your stuff down and gave him a small smile, not even looking into Newt’s eyes.
He got close to you and grabbed your chin gently with his thumb and index finger. “Why aren’t you looking at me?” He asked, the hurt evident in his voice.
You pushed his hand away and shook you head.
The truth was that you were disappointed in yourself. You let one bad day snowball into this moment.
It sucked.
You felt the tears welling up and you just shook your head. You knew if you spoke then you would start crying.
So you said nothing.
You would rather let your husband, with whom you’ve been in love since you were fifteen years old, believe you were mad at him than to admit your feelings.
But Newt knew you better than that.
He’s never seen this side of you so... he gave you space.
He tried his best to not take it personally, to take care of your regular chores, to do whatever he needed to make you feel better.
He knew you weren’t mad, you just seemed off.
About a week after he got home, Newt was sitting at the table while he read the Daily Prophet. You came out of your room and put your head on his shoulder to which he smiled.
“Glad to have you back,” Newt said gently as if he was talking to one of his creatures.
You pulled your head off of him and pulled up a chair silently. “I’m sorry.”
Newt looked up and frowned. “For what?”
You scratched your nose in an attempt to keep from crying. “I, uhm... I was being a jerk Newt and I shouldn’t have been.” You told him, tears finally falling. “It all started when I woke up a few months ago and our usual letter wasn’t there. Then I got petty and didn’t respond and then the letters kept coming and I was too embarrassed to write back when it had suddenly jumped to two weeks later and... and...” You could hardly understand yourself since you were getting loud and talking faster and, you know, sobbing your eyes out.
Newt leaned forward and put a hand on your knee. He gave your tear-stained face a gentle smile and squeezed your knee a little. “It’s okay.”
It just made you want to rip your hair out. “But it’s not okay!” You responded petulantly. “I was being a... a... a... pillock. I was being stupid.”
“You were not being stupid my love,” Newt tried assuring you. “I understand, you were out of routine. You’re never out of routine and I’m sure it was a hard day,” He told you sincerely.
You sniffled and wiped your eyes. “I’m sorry. I feel like I’ve messed everything up.”
Newt grabbed your hands and squeezed slightly. “You know what I was doing the day I forgot to write?” He asked.
You shook your head and squeezed Newt’s hands back.
“I was getting you this,” Newt let go and went to his suitcase. He rummaged around for a little bit when he finally pulled out a three-headed pup.
Your eyes widened and you got up to meet Newt and the new pup.
Newt smiled at your reaction and handed you the small hound. “His name is Bear and I got him for you since I knew that you get lonely here when I’m doing other things for work.” He said as he shoved his hands into his pockets, a slight blush creeping up to his cheeks.
You smiled for the first time in months and put your head on Newt’s chest. “I love you so much. I don’t deserve you.”
Newt wrapped his arms around you, shaking his head. “You’re wrong. You deserve the universe.”

"Flowers at the platform"
- my first attempt at fanfiction, mainly fluff, 600+ words, sorry for any typos and grammar errors :) this was just for fun!
Tumblr media
“All abooaard!”
The train conductor announced. People ushered into their respective train carts clearly having places to be.
However, you stayed, sitting on a bench by the platform.
Waiting, and occasionally thinking of what you would cook for him, you listened to the chugging and the whistle of the trains that pass by like afterthoughts, dissappearing into the horizon with the smoke that emitted from the steam powered locomotive, billowing into the sky. None of them were ever his, but you knew you had to wait.
"It won't be the first and certainly won't be the last." You reassured yourself.
Waiting, something that you first learned back in the days where he was still in the process of courting you was a key part in this relationship you shared with the auror, no matter how long it took, with time, you found peace in it.
Considering his position as Head Auror of the British Auror office, Theseus often went overseas, leaving you alone for weeks that sometimes stretched out into months to your silent dismay and soon, acceptance. However, waiting for his train to arrive didn't bother you as much as most people would assume. After all, the sight of him before you was the greatest pay off of all.
With what you hadn't realised was bated breath and anticipation, you saw him step off the train. With the other behind him, his hand, withered with scars, fixed his already well-groomed brunette hair and the knot of his tie. He always made sure to look good for you - especially the times where he was scarce.
He stepped towards you with a small smile tugging at his lips.
"Dear." The older man greeted you fondly.
"Theseus! There you are." You got onto your feet, fighting the urge to run into his arms as you made your way towards him. You weren't a woman who waited for the husband to return from war— no, that was in the past, and thank god for that.
You could've sworn there was a floral scent in the air around you two as you examined his face you missed so dearly.
"I don't suppose you.." Before you could finish his sentence, the hand he had previously had behind his back outstretched to you with a bouquet of an assortment of colorful flowers in hand.
"I wouldn't ever." He clarified with a chuckle of triumph. The gesture was all too endearing not to bring a smile on your face, and that was exactly his goal.
Despite being an important man who, as it comes to no suprise, often was busy with his schedule packed with all sorts of admin and case work, not to mention the countless court trials that gave him a headache, however, nothing a cigarette or a glass of bourbon couldn't ease. He always had flowers for you.
Of course he had flowers with him, he always did whenever the time was right for him to return from his job as the Head Auror. If it wasn't flowers he had behind his back it would be something else. Sometimes it was small and simple. Other times it would be big and extravagant, but never did it fail to be a thoughtful gift he had brought with him to make you happy.
To see your face, smiling no less, at some point in time had become a luxury just as much as it was for you to see him in bed beside you.
"Keep that smile, would you?" Theseus requested as he pushed your hair behind your ear, his eyes tracing over your features that had been crinkled with a smile. Your cheeks growing a rosy colour at the touch of his hands, withered from the excessive use of writing tools.
"Well then, let's get going, I would have to wait any longer to be at home with you." You two walked along the train platform, with each others hands intertwined.
“How is Newt, by the way?" You asked.
"Oh, off somewhere in China on another one of his beastly endeavours, what's new?" The wizard mused to himself.

Snow on the Beach | Jacaerys x Reader
A/N: I'm so sorry it took so long for me to get this posted. I've been crazy busy with finals and had to work on it rather slowly every night. Nonetheless, I hope you guys enjoy.
Warnings: Arranged marriage, fear of flying, your mother is anything but kind
Midnights Masterlist
Tumblr media
Life is emotionally abusive
When your mother had informed you of your bethrothal to Jacaerys Velaryon, you felt as if the weight of Westeros had been placed on your shoulders.
Not only would you one day be Queen of the seven, but you'd be expected to conceieve and birth an heir. You would have had to do that no matter who you married, but being wed to the future King put even more pressure on you.
As you slid into your nightgown, preparing to get some sleep, something caught your eye outside the window.
I saw flecks of what could've been lights
It was dark, and you could barely see it, but in the light cast from the moon, you could make out wings flapping in the distance. It was too big to be a bird. It was a dragon.
The dragon could have been on its own, you figured. But it was far more likely that a Targaryen or a Velaryon was controlling the beast.
Passing by unbeknownst to me
You racked through your brain, thinking of all the dragon riders in the realm. Queen Rhaenyra, Aegon, Aemond, Helaena, Daemon, Rhaenys, Jacaerys—Jacerys.
But it might just have been you
A small part of you hoped that it was him, flying over the home you had grown up in your whole life. But as the dragon faded into the distance, you shook your head of your thoughts, settling into bed.
-------------------------------
When you met Jacaerys formally a few days later, you had expected for things to go smoothly. But that was anything but the case.
And time can't stop me quite like you did
He had insisted on taking you on a dragon ride—and you were utterly terrified. Your mother urged you to follow after him, but you stopped in your tracks, fear striking every bone in your body.
And it's fine to fake it 'til you make it
Climbing on the back of his dragon, who's name you couldn't even remember in your stress, your chest began to heave. But you forced a smile on your face, for no one but your mother. You may not have been happy, but you had to look the part.
I'm unglued, thanks to you
You weren't even a foot off the ground before you were begging for Jacaerys to land, tears streaming down your face.
As soon as you stepped off the beast, you fell to your knees, hands placed firmly on the ground.
And my flight was awful, thanks for asking
Jacaerys slid off of his dragon, kneeling beside you. He gently put a hand to your back, "Are you alright?"
Blurring out my periphery
You shook your head, your vision blurring from the tears in your eyes, uttering, "No."
Your mother briskly walked towards you, coming to a halt at your hunched over body. Nudging you with her foot, she spoke through gritted teeth, "Get up."
Shuffling to your feet, you wiped away your tears with the back of your hand, apologizing, "I'm sorry, mother."
She turned her back on you, just as she had done all those years ago after the accident. This time, you weren't sure there was any coming back.
-------------------------------
That night, you climbed into bed, falling back onto the soft mattress. Your head hit the pillow and you released the sigh you had been holding for the majority of the day.
You had disappointed your mother, again. But it was nothing new, really. Ever since the accident, her life had been nothing but a constant disappointment.
One night a few moons ago
You thought about the day your life changed forever. You were sitting in the highest tower of your castle with your brother, who was brushing up on his sword fighting technique. The open windows let a soft breeze in that caused your hair to float around your head as you worked on your embroidery.
This scene feels like what I once saw on a screen
You watched as your brother worked on perfecting each swing, stabbing at his imaginary victim. That's when it happened. That's when the world stopped.
Just as you were about to recall the events that had shaped you into who you were today, there was a knock at your balcony door.
I can't speak afraid to jinx it
Jumping at the sound, you grabbed the candlestick from your bedside, taking a few steps towards your balcony. You were aware that danger could be lurking on the other side, but curiosity had always gotten the better of you.
Taking a sharp breath, you pushed the door back quickly, hoping to knock whoever found themself outside your chambers off their feet. But they had already moved. He had already moved. Jacaerys had already moved.
You rushed to cover yourself with your free hand. Dressed in your night clothes, it was hardly appropriate for a man to see you in this state until after marriage.
A sour expression crossed your face, "My Lord, it's late. What could you possibly want or need at this hour?"
You wanting me tonight feels impossible
"You."
His answer was short and simple—at least that's what you assumed.
I don't even dare to wish it
Shaking your head, you waved your candlestick around, almost blowing out the light, "I'll have you know that I'm a woman of honor. Your requests—"
But Jacerys pressed his hand to your wrist, "You misunderstand me, my lady. I wish to take you for a ride."
In that moment, his dragon rose from it's position below your balcony, it's wings flapping rhythmically.
"I don't like heights, my prince. I'm sorry, I can't."
Jacerys bowed his head, "Your father told me what happened to your brother. I'm sorry for your loss."
Your heart dropped, "Then you understand why I can't go."
"That I don't."
"He fell from the highest tower in the palace. I watched him fall to his death and I couldn't do anything about it. I watched him die. I won't watch another suffer the same fate. I can't."
Jacaerys moved his hand to side of your arm, "No one's going to fall. I've been dragon riding ever since I was a boy. And I'll be holding onto you the whole time."
"Jacaerys—"
"I may not have known your brother, but I do know he was a boy of honor. It's tradition for my family to ride dragons. As your betrothed, I want to share that with you," He explained, "This could help both of us, my lady."
You hesitated. But you knew he wasn't going to bscj down, "If I tell you to bring me back down, you'll do it in an instant?"
"In a heartbeat."
You took in a deep breath, clenching your fists to feel anything other than feer.
Jacaerys extended his hand for you to take, and once your fingers were entwined with his, he led you to the edge of the balcony.
Looking up at him through your brows, you pulled back slightly, "Isn't there a safer way to mount?"
He shook his head, "Trust me. I won't let anything bad happen to you."
With that, Jacaerys climbed over your balcony railing, jumping until he landed on its back.
He steadied himself, holding out his arms, "My lady..."
You had gripped the railing so tightly that your knuckles were now ten shades lighter, trembling at the thought of being on dragon back.
"A promise is a promise," Jacaerys reminded you, "As soon as you want to return, you have my word."
Nodding, you climbed over the railing, clinging onto it once you reached the other side.
"I'll catch you, I promise."
You would've climbed back over if your hand hadn't slipped. Once your hand slipped, your foot slid off the edge. Caught by surprise, it wasn't long before you were falling.
But it's coming down, no sound, it's all around
But you weren't falling for long.
Before you could even scream for help, you felt strong arms around your back and thighs.
But your eyes are flying saucers from another planet
Jacaerys's big, brown eyes met yours in that moment, and you nearly felt yourself swoon. Half of you wanted to slap him for urging you to go on a ride at this hour, knowing your fears, but you couldn't harbor any anger towards him—not with the way he was looking at you.
He set you down gently, moving the stray strands of hair that had fallen over your face out of the way, "Are you alright, my lady?"
You nodded, "Yes, my prince. I'm fine—"
Are we falling like snow at the beach?
Then the ground began to shift beneath you. It was in that moment that you realized you weren't on solid ground—you were standing on the back of a dragon.
Clinging to your betrothed, he ushered you to sit down before him.
He sat down first, patting the spot in front of him. Your nails dug into his shoulders as you positioned yourself on the dragon.
Jacaerys took your hands in his, motioning for you to take the chains in either hand.
My smile is like I won a contest
When you felt his hands on yours, you felt something deep within your chest. Your heart fluttered, your stomach turned, and your face flushed at the contact. You couldn't help but smile, no matter how much you tried to hide it.
When the dragon began to move, you leaned back into his chest, your whole body trembling.
He took it slow, moving the reigns every few seconds to steer, his hands still clasped over yours.
Flying in a dream, stars by the pocketful
Gazing down at your now small home, you released the breath you had been holding. The view was beautiful.
Weird but fucking beautiful
Soon after, you calmed your nerves, your grip of the chains loosening. Crossing over a vast lake, you could see the moon's reflection in the still water.
I've never seen someone live from within
For the majority of your life, you had taken all of this for granted. Now, it was like you were truly living for the first time.
I searched aurora borealis green
You gazed up at the stars above, the barely noticeable clouds that hung low over you, casting a slight fog. While your head was reclined to view the stars, it meant Jacaerys's shoulder.
And to hide that would be so dishonest
Instead of pulling away, you let yourself melt into the touch.
Like snow on the beach (are we in a dream?)
After gliding across the sky for what didn't feel long enough, Jacaerys returned you to your balcony.
The two of you rose from your spots, and he gently lifted you up so you could lift yourself onto the edge.
Climbing back over the railing, you smiled down at him.
He remained on the back of his dragon, gazing up at you, "I trust that you enjoyed your ride?"
Nodding, you sighed, "I just admit that it was rather nice, my prince."
"I'm glad, my lady," He said, returning your smile.
You cleared your throat, "Do you come this way often, by chance?"
"Same time tomorrow?"
Grateful you didn't have to ask the question you had longed for, your smile grew, "I'd love nothing more."
"Then it's a date."
Can this be a real thing? Can it?
Your face flushed, and you attempted to hide your embarassment, "Yes, I believe it is."
It was silent for a moment before you spoke, "And Jacaerys? Thank you. For tonight, I mean."
Now I'm All For You like Janet
"Please, call me Jace, my lady."
'Til you do, 'til it's true
"Then call me Y/N."
Like snow on the beach (you want me)
Your faces were inches away, with him now standing on the edge of the railing as you had.
Pressing a kiss to his cheek, you smiled, "Goodnight, Jace."
With that, he settled back down on his dragon, grinning from ear to ear, "Goodnight, Y/N."
And it's like snow at the beach

summary: you meet someone and can't help but shake the feeling that you've met them before.
words: 1.2k ish
warnings: angst, fluff, badly written blurb from a long time ago lol
You walked onto the sidewalk outside of your apartment complex and watched the people in front of you whisp by in a rush. The cars flooded every which way on the street   only feet away from you. It was two hours before you were expected at your job in a bakery. You dodged every passing car until you got the the other side of the road, where a bank was. A woman stood on the stairs in protest to everything to do with magic. She yelled that they existed, and it was being hidden from the nonwizard. You rolled your eyes and smirked.
"Poppycock," You murmured to yourself. You were never one to believe in magic; a pessimist, really. You were watching the woman instead of where you were walking. As you turned to walk around the bank, you ran into someone head on. The impact was aggressive enough that you both dropped your suitcases.
"Oh, dear- I'm so sorry- I wasn't paying attention- I-" You cut yourself off once your eyes met his. His eyes widened with shock. You couldn't help but smile, and you didn't know why. But when you looked into his hazel eyes, that's all you could do. His red hair was covering his face, and that miraculously made you blush even harder.
"T-terribly sorry, Miss," He bent down to pick up his suitcase and handed yours over to you.
"Thank you- I-..." He walked away briskly before you could ask him anything. You couldn't stop smiling. Something about seeing him made you blush and want to cry out of happiness at the same time. You turned around and watched him watch the protest. A small, woodland, green creature stuck its head out of the collar of his trench coat. It blinked at you.
"Pickett," You blurted out, as if something had forced you to say it. You covered your mouth in confusion.
Newt was trying not to look at you with every fiber in his very being. He had obliviated the only person he had ever promised to love, and now she was back. But this time, it felt like he didn't even know you himself. Two years of lost communication and regret, and so much had happened. You got a job and were promoted to manager. You made money, moved out of your parents house, rented out an apartment, and even managed to date every once and a while. You never had a relationship, though. You always felt as though you had already met your soulmate and lost your chance. You just didn't know whom it was.
You slowly made your way to through the crowd in an attempt to follow the man. He was only a few feet away from you once you were forcefully shoved out of the crowd. You continued walking and watching him as his coat swayed from side to side.
"Sir?" You called after him. "Do I know you?" You asked loudly, finally catching up to him. He kept walking.
"You don't know me," He said in a sternly, his voice almost sounding pained.
"No, I know you from somewhere," You searched your mind for any possible memory of him. It felt like you had a dream about him, like he wasn't even real as he was still walking in front of you.
"You don't know me, now please stop following me," His voice sounded genuine, but, somehow, you know that he was keeping something from you. You gripped his shoulder and turned him around to face you. Your eyes met again, and you couldn't help but smile at him. Your eyes even brimmed with tears. He stopped himself from smiling back, and his face turned to sheer terror.
"I don't know why I'm so happy to see you," You cried softly. "I know you...I know I do-" He cut you off.
"You don't know me! Please, just leave me be!" He shouted at you, his voice broken up. It hurt him more than it hurt you when he yelled at you. Your face immediately dropped into a frown., and your tears of joy turned into tears of hurt.
"You keep saying that...but not once have you said that you don't know..." Your voice trailed off, and your face softened. Memories started flooding back into your mind.
"He seems to really like you," Newt said with a smile as Pickett climbed up your arm and into your coat. His little legs felt like a spider's as he played on your shoulders. You looked up at Newt as he carefully watched Pickett. He returned the gaze and blushed. "You're cute," You murmured to him, making his cheeks turn a deeper shade of pink.
"...me," You finally finished your sentence when you came out do your daze.
"N-Newt," You stammered out. His facial expression dropped.
"How did you-" You cut him off this time.
"I remembered...dear god, I remember you!" You began to sob with happiness again.
"Newt! I'm so happy to see you! Oh my god- I don't know what to do with myself," You chuckled. "God- Newt Scamander! I missed you deeply!" You continued, hugging his neck. He didn't say anything. He just hugged you back and weeped into your chest quietly.
Then, it all came flooding back.
Newt was two steps below you, shrinking to your height as you stood at the edge of obliviation.
"You don't have to do this," Newt said to you, still holding your hand.
"No, no, Newt, I do...it is for your protection, and..." You ran your free hand through his hair. "You know that I would do anything to keep you safe, Newt Scamander," You turned and faced the pouring rain. You stepped forward, but Newt pulled you back, turning you around to face him once again.
"Allow me to make one last promise to you," He began. "I promise, that for as long as I live...I will always love you, even if I never meet you again. I promise to love you forever, Y/F/N  Y/L/N," A single tear streamed down his cheek. Within the last three days, Newt Scamander had given you the most magical experience of your entire life. You wiped the tear and kissed his nose.
"It's funny how the most magical moments of my life...I'll never remember," You smiled painfully, not letting go of him.
"You don't have to forget, Y/N," He began. "We can travel together, we can go wherever you want to go," He searched his mind for more to say. "I'll keep you in my suitcase if I have to," You chuckled and backed away from him. You could see how desperate he was to keep you with him in his eyes. "Please don't go...please," He begged for you to say. His chin began to quiver. "Please stay, Y/N-- I need you," You shook your head as a tear fell down your cheek.
"You don't need me, Newt...I'm just a muggle," His lips parted when you said this.
"You were never just a muggle to me, Y/N," You couldn't keep arguing with him.
"Goodbye, Newt Scamamnder...I promise to always love you too," You stepped out into the rain, letting every drop hit your face. He expanded an umbrella from his wand and covered the both of you. He pushed back your wet hair and planted a kiss on your lips. You wrapped your arms around his waist, and kissed back.
"I'll always love you, Y/F/N  Y/L/N,"  He stepped back, letting the rain obliviate you. When you opened your eyes, he had vanished.

Serendipitous Encounters - Newt Scamander x Reader
Tumblr media
Warning: None. This oneshot is safe for all readers. It contains no explicit content or triggering material.
AN: first time writing for Newt! Hope you enjoy!
--
The bustling streets of London were filled with the clamor of hurried footsteps and the occasional honking of horns. You, a young witch with a keen interest in magical creatures, weaved through the crowd, your gaze transfixed on a peculiar man ahead.
Tousled chestnut hair peeked out from underneath his worn, tweed coat. A battered suitcase, adorned with a sticker that read "Muggle Worthy," was clutched tightly in his hands. There was something about his gentle aura that drew you in, curiosity tugging at the corners of your mind.
As if sensing your presence, the man suddenly turned, eyes widening in surprise at discovering you trailing behind. "Hello," he said softly, his British accent melodious to your ears. "Can I help you with something?"
You paused for a moment before a smile graced your lips. "I couldn't help but notice your suitcase," you replied, gesturing towards it. "You must be quite the adventurer."
His eyes crinkled with amusement, the expression transforming his face into one of warmth and kindness. "You have no idea," he said, that mesmerizing glimmer in his eyes hinting at a world unknown to most.
A shared passion for magical creatures drew you together, sparking conversations that would weave through the tapestry of time. Each word exchanged, each laughter shared, forged an unspoken connection that grew deeper with every encounter.
Your days became intertwined, exploring hidden magical corners of London, enchanting gardens, and dimly lit cafes that evoked a sense of enchantment. Newt introduced you to his world, unveiling the intricate beauty and vulnerability of the creatures he safeguarded within his magical suitcase.
With him, you traversed unknown territories, encountering magnificent creatures you had only dreamed of. You witnessed the admiration etched on Newt's face as he spoke about their unique abilities and fought passionately for their preservation. As his eyes danced with wonder, your heart soared in harmony with the magical symphony.
But amidst the joy, there were shadows, whispered rumors that cast doubt upon Newt's mission. Some called him reckless, others labeled him a threat. The Ministry's watchful eyes saw his actions as a breach of wizarding secrecy.
Through it all, your unwavering belief in him remained steadfast. Together, you faced the trials that came with advocating for creatures so often misunderstood. Your love for him embraced not only his untamed world but also the compassionate core that bound his heart to yours.
As the final page of each adventure turned, you knew that the bond forged between you and Newt Scamander was destined for something extraordinary, something beyond the enchantment of magical creatures.
In a quiet moment, beneath the starlit sky, Newt's gaze bore into yours, his vulnerability laid bare. "I never expected to find not only a kindred spirit in my pursuit, but a love that has forever altered the course of my life," he confessed, his voice a gentle caress.
You smiled, your heart radiant with the same love that reflected in his eyes. "And I never expected to find a connection so deep that it transcends magic and time," you whispered.
Together, you vowed to protect and nurture your shared dreams, in a world where acceptance and unity, both human and magical, were paramount. A promise to tread the path less chosen, guided by love, empathy, and the unwavering belief that the world could be a better place.
In the years that followed, Newt Scamander's name would become synonymous with bravery and compassion, his book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a testament to his unwavering dedication. And by his side, you would forever stand, a beacon of love and understanding amidst a world longing for harmony.
For in Newt Scamander's arms, you found something far greater than the enchantment of magical creatures – you discovered a love that rivaled every extraordinary creature in existence, a love crafted in the crucible of a serendipitous encounter.

A Lovers Lies
Summary: three months after Tina and Newt's breakup, she sees Newt out with another woman.
Toxic Newt
Three months had passed since Newt and Tina's heartbreaking breakup. Tina was trying her best to move on, but the wounds were still fresh, and the pain lingered within her.
One crisp autumn day, as Tina was going about her usual routine, she happened to catch a glimpse of Newt walking hand in hand with a pregnant woman. A woman who appeared to be in the late stages of pregnancy and ready to give birth.
Her heart sank as realization dawned upon her.
The pain and confusion that she had pushed aside were suddenly like a raging storm within her.
Tina's eyes widened as she watched them with disbelief and anger. It all started to make sense. Newt had left her because he had cheated on her and gotten this woman pregnant
Determined to confront them and demand the truth, Tina crossed the street and approached them.
"Tina?" he stammered, trying to compose himself. "What are you doing here?"
Tina's voice shook with an amalgamation of emotions as she pointed accusingly at Y/N's growing belly. "Don't try to deny it, Newt. You cheated on me with her!"
Y/N looked at her with curious eyes, unaware of who Tina was or what she was talking about. On the other hand, Newt wore a mask of surprise mixed with a touch of panic.
"Newt, who is she?" She asked, her voice filled with innocence.
Ignoring Y/N's question, Tina took a step closer to Newt, her voice tinged with sadness and frustration. "I know the truth, Newt. You cheated on me and got her pregnant. Don't deny it."
Newt's eyes darted nervously between Tina and Y/N. "Tina, your doing this again? I thought you were over me, but you're back to trying to break up my relationships."
Tina's heart shattered. She had hoped deep inside that Newt was incapable of such manipulation, but the evidence seemed to be staring her in the face. Defeated, Tina turned and walked away.
Years passed, and Tina saw glimpses of Newt and Y/N occasionally, always with their toddler daughter.
She watched as the toddler ran around, blissfully unaware of the tangled webs that had brought her into this world.
Determined to make one last attempt at reaching Y/N, Tina approached them cautiously. Newt recognized her immediately, his face etched with worry.
"Tina," Newt spoke with an air of superiority. "Will you ever stop trying to ruin our lives?"
Tina's voice quivered. "Newt, please, stop treating me like I'm crazy, and tell your wife the truth of how you convinced that child."
But Newt laughed dismissively. "You're still convinced I cheated on you, even years later? That's just sad, Tina."
Tina took a deep breath,  "Y/N, please listen to me. I know you may think I'm crazy, but Newt cheated on me years ago, and your child is the result of it."
Y/N's face contorted with confusion and disbelief. She looked at Newt, searching for the truth. Newt, ever the expert manipulator, quickly interjected,
"Tina's lying, Y/N. She's always been obsessed with breaking us up. Don't listen to her."
Y/N hesitated momentarily. Slowly, she shook her head and turned away from Tina. "I'm sorry, Tina, but I can't believe you. Newt has never given me a reason to doubt him."
Tina's heart sank as she glanced at the little girl beside Newt. She saw innocence in her eyes, untainted by the lies and betrayals of the past. Newt escorts his wife and child away far from Tina's view.
She had tried her best, but it seemed that Y/N was too far gone, caught in Newt's web of lies. Too consumed by the fantasy that Newt had woven around her. She had lost herself in his lies, unable to see the true colours shining through.
Years later, Tina occasionally read articles about Newt, Y/N, and their daughter. The sight would bring a mixture of pain and resignation. She had done all she could to expose the truth, and now she had to accept that some stories would forever remain shrouded in secrets and deception.
Newt had successfully manipulated Y/N, painting Tina as the villain in their love story.
Maybe one day, the truth would reach Y/N, and justice would prevail.
