Age Swap AU Pairings

A list of who gets together and my opinions/reasons for these pairings.

This will be specifically for a Revelations Route, so if you wanna ship different combinations of characters in this AU, I won’t stop you.

I also won’t be getting into the Child Units (yet.) With all of that in mind, here’s the ASAU Pairings:

Corrin X Azura. I mean… it’s Corrin and Azura. How can I not? Especially since they’re not altered in this AU, but their kids are. Imagine big sibling Kana little brother Shigure dynamic.

Sakura X Hana. I’m as much of a sucker for Sakulise as the next FE14 fan, but honestly the bond these two have and have had for easily a decade at this point just overrides the softness of Adult Sakulise. Shiro is their son with Ryoma serving as a surrogate father.

Elise X Effie. Same as with Sakura and Hana, Elise and Effie’s bond in this universe (realm?) is just too strong for me not to pair them together. Siegbert is their son with Xander serving as a surrogate father.

Takumi X Oboro. This is a cute pairing, what can I say? Can you tell I’m a sucker for Liege X Lord pairings? Also, just imagine cute and sweet Kiragi making his mom’s Demon Face.

Leo X Niles. I don’t even know how to put my feelings on this pair into words, so I’ll just trust y’all to accept it. Forrest is their son with Beruka serving as a surrogate mother.

Hinoka X Hinata. This pairing is unique since it’s the only time I don’t ship a lord with their non swapped retainer (or another lord) but honestly I just like the himbo samurai/tomboy princess dynamic. Also protective older cousin Hisame is interesting.

Camilla X Beruka. Cute but strong Malig and her scary Assassin waifu? What’s not to love? Also Niles served as a surrogate father so they raise Nina together.

Ryoma X Xander. I decided to pair these two together since I figured I should do at least one pairing between a Hoshido and Nohrian royal. Since they couldn’t have kids with each other, they agreed to be surrogates so their oldest sisters could have kids, allowing Shiro and Siegbert to exist in this world.

Jakob X Charlotte. A very… very chaotic duo. This was simply a duo born from the fact that they were kinda just leftover after I paired off most of the other characters. Add super strength to Dwyer’s mountain of secret skills.

Silas X Felicia. One: they’re cute. Two: imagining Sophie inheriting Felicia’s clumsiness and ice magic is equally hilarious and terrifying.

Kaze X Orochi. Stoic ninja who struggles with feeling like he failed his liege due to something out of his control plus merry diviner who struggled with feeling like she failed her liege due to something out of her control equals both fun shenanigans and absolute angst. Also imagining Midori being able to somehow use a combination of Divining and her Medicine could make her a force of nature in her own way.

Saizo X Kagero. What can I say, I’m a sucker for this duo too. I’m sure they could be happy together once Saizo learns to stop having the personality of a cactus. Plus having two Ninja parents probably makes Asugi a super ninja.

Laslow X Selena X Odin. If I was gonna have Corrin get with Azura, an OT3 would be needed so all the kids would be capable of existing and I’m just a sucker for this trio. I’ll be using Henry!Laslow, Robin!Selena, and Lon’qu!Odin. Soleil inherits the Fell brand, Ophelia inherits the Exalts’s brand, and they get to be awesome redhead step sisters. Sorry to anyone who ships these two.

Azama X Subaki: …ok, look, so far I’ve done three wlw and only two mlm pairings. Two more guys were gonna have to get together. And after I saw these two, reread their supports, then read @unassumingvenusaur’s fanmade S Support for them, I wound up enjoying this pairing immensely. Also for the sake of not having to do anymore surrogates because this is getting complicated: Transmac Subaki (which I feel could not only make his backstory more interesting given the implications of how terrible his parents are) allowing for them to have a brown haired Caeldori and a red haired Mitama who are sisters.

Arthur X Setsuna. Apparently luck works like integers because when you combine an unlucky Fighter with an equally unlucky Archer, you get a doubly lucky Wyvern riding super hero. Also imagining dorks like Arthur and Setsuna together is just adorable tbh.

Kaden X Peri. When I don’t pair Peri (heh) with Laslow, I usually pair her with one of the furries so I can create an absolutely terrifying Kitsune/Wolfskin. In this case I decided that Peri would be Selkie’s mother and the rest of the army gets to suffer then consequences.

Hayato X Mozu. One: this is basically genderswapped Cyril/Lysithea and Donnel/Maribelle which already makes it a win. Two: Rhajat with Mozu’s hair and freckles is a hilariously adorable image.

Benny X Rinkah. Gentle giant meats muscular spitfire to create flaming good boy.

Keaton X Nyx. Yes, let’s pair the most mature woman in the army who considers herself a monster with one of the most immature guys in the army who can turn into a monster.

You’re in your third trimester by now, and you and Leo couldn’t be more excited 

He and Annabeth have been working on the nursery nonstop

And Hazel has been spearheading your baby shower

Making you laugh and smile through all the difficult parts of pregnancy

He’s right there for you through all the swelling and leaking and aches and pains and mood swings

It’s also a perfect opportunity to do some subtle cake taste tests

But now your bump is so big it’s really getting in the way of daily activities

You insist on at least trying to tie your shoes and pick things up off the floor by yourself

You usually give up after a couple tries, and Leo is happy to help you out with everything

He can’t get over how adorable you look waddling around with your big old bump

He takes so many pictures and gets so many videos 

You basically can’t sleep without your maternity pillow, so Leo’s taken to spooning you when you guys are going to sleep

He rubs your belly and kisses your cheek and holds your hand

And you fall asleep with him murmuring about how much he loves you and your baby and how he wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else

And god, when your baby shower actually arrives??

Leo has been distracting you all week so you don’t accidentally figure out what’s being planned

One of his favorite ways to do this has been taking you out to get food and shop for more clothes for you and baby

Some of your favorites so far have been the sesame street one, the duck pajamas, and the fuzzy bear onesie with little ears and paws and a little tail

Leo has a talent for picking out the cutest dresses and other maternity clothes

Everything he finds for you makes you feel so pretty and feels so comfortable to wear

He even picks out some non maternity clothes for you too

He rubs his hands over your belly affectionately before pressing a kiss to your lips

You ask Leo if you can slip away to get another cake

He lets you down gently, telling you the bakery is still out of oreo filling and hazelnuts

He makes sure you guys hit up the baby aisle and the snack aisle before you leave

Finally it’s time for your actual baby shower

And it’s absolutely amazing

It’s like Hazel looked into your brain and pulled out everything you could have dreamed of

And when you arrive to all your friends and family surrounded by the beautiful decorations

They bring out a caramel hazelnut swirl cake with oreo filling

That’s what finally brings you to tears

It’s the most wonderful time you could have hoped for

You spend tons of time with friends and family, eat delicious food, and talk about baby stuff the whole time

It’s not long after your baby shower that you start getting braxton hicks more regularly 

Leo insists on taking you to the hospital even when you insist it’s a false alarm

He is not going to take any risks when it comes to you or your baby

After the first false alarm, he made sure your hospital bags were packed and ready to go

He’s gone over the plan and the backup plan and the backup backup plan so many times he could recite them in his sleep

After a few more, you wake up one night, and Leo wakes up right behind you

You tell him you’re having contractions and he gets up immediately, launching into his usual speech about how the doctor said for you to go to the hospital even if it’s a false alarm and how much he loves you both

Before he can finish you turn to him with a look of seriousness he’s never seen before

“I don’t think it’s a false alarm.” 

That wakes him up even more

He gets you to the hospital in record time, and calls his mom on the way

He’s right by your side the whole time and holding your hand while the doctors and nurses get you set up

You share a look and know it’s hitting both of you at the same time

You’re about to have a baby

You’re finally, finally going to meet your baby

You’re about to be parents

Through all of the highs and lows of his life

Every crazy thing you’ve gotten through together

Unofficial Gay Fates 2.1.0 Is here! This update adds in 64 new supports, as well as implemented the new Custom Endings I showed off before! This release features 105 custom endings.

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 18 now soo..) but I really wanna do it again.

So this is a list of characters/fandoms I write for as well as some rules for asks. Some things may be missing from this list so if you dont see something on this list, feel free to ask. :))

There's several on there I'm curious about but imma narrow it down a bit ^^; I saw Dragonriders and Dragon x Slayer and got all jazzed cause Dragons. Unicorn Field Guide and Arc of Magic sounds interesting, but then I spotted Lancer Yoko and almost shot out of my seat, PLEASE tell me about it. (also a bit unrelated but I love that I recognise several of these titles/au's. all of em are great too)

Putting this under a cut cause it'll get long

Starting with the one that's the least fleshed out, the Dragonriders AU is, well. it's a dragonrider au lol. All the main Arc V characters have dragons, and it's a fantasy world that semi-similar to something like Eragon crossed with Dragonriders of Pern, but you know, legally distinct.

I was doing designs for some of the dragons for them, like translating Odd-Eyes into a more traditional looking dragon and such. I didn't really have too much more to go on, so it might end up being more an aesthetic doodle thing than a fully fleshed project, but i dare to dream lol.

Dragon x Slayer is a sort of original fantasy world with Arc V characters, where there is this mountain range where the kingdom of dragons is, and it's cut off from the rest of the world by a magical barrier that prevents dragons from leaving. It was put there hundreds of years ago after a war between humans and dragons that the dragons supposedly lost, ending up with them being sealed away. Meanwhile, in the human world, adept humans go to an academy to learn how to be slayers, to kill dragons that manage to pass through the barrier before they can kill humans.

The longest story short, the dragon boys are all of course dragons in this au, with the ability to shift into human forms. They are the sons of the dragon king Zarc, who has become dangerously unstable since the barrier was erected. The dragon boys each find their own ways to sneak out from under Zarc's increasingly strict eye in order to explore, and one by one they all meet humans for various reasons, who come to learn that the dragons aren't necessarily as dangerous as they were led to believe. Reiji, for example, is a top of his class slayer who was tasked to enter the barrier and kill a dragon as part of his graduation exam, but he was injured during his time in the mountains and rescued/nursed back to health by Yuya.

The basic crux of this one is that the leaders of both factions (Zarc and Leo) are becoming increasingly warlike against each other while the people underneath them are trying to find ways to make connections with each other and mend the rift between the two kingdoms.

The Unicorn Field Guide is in its most basic early stages, but this one is basically one of those fun fake field guides a la Dragonology about my concept for unicorns in my fantasy universe. Basically, unicorns are a universal constant that seem to spring up out of nothing and are anthropomorphized concepts of natural forces (stars, trees, oceans, etc), and the field guide is like a scientist going around to different dimensions and cataloging all the unicorns they find there. This is mostly an excuse for me to get to draw lots of unicorns lol.

Arc of Magic is another Arc V AU lol. this time it's a retelling of my favorite middle grade fantasy series, Avalon Web of Magic. Basically, Yuzu, Ruri, and Selena (Rin joins up later) are regular girls from the real world who are tasked to become mages in order to defend another fantasy world from the destructive spread of the Sorceress and her corruptive magic that is killing the magical animals. Also Yuya is a ferret.

Lancer Yoko is a canon divergence where after the events of the Battle Royale, Yoko marches up to Reiji and pretty much demands that he let her join up with everyone because like hell is she letting Yuya go off on his own and she needs to go get Yuzu back for Shuzo anyway (girl's practically her daughter tbf lol). She mostly acts as a sort of coach/trainer for the other Lancers and helps Reiji develop unique action fields for each of them (because i think crossover, while a function of the story and also easy to animate, is boring) that play to their strengths to help them have an edge over their opponents.

I didn't get very far with my notes for this one, but I think I'd still have her separated from Yuya at the prison arc, cause as much as I love her I don't think Yuya would really grow if his mom was hovering over him too much lol. Instead I think she'd get teleported along to wherever Reiji was in Synchro arc because on the other hand, Reiji stands to benefit immensely from having a real mother hovering over him lolllllllll
