How we see God is a direct reflection of how we see ourselves; We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are. If God brings to mind mostly fear and blame, it means there is too much fear and blame welled inside us. If we see God as full of love and compassion, so are we.
🌿 Shams Of Tabriz (Elif Shafak, Forty rules of love)
We can only learn and advance with contradictions.
The faithful inside should meet the doubtful. The doubtful should meet the faithful. Human slowly advances and becomes mature when he accepts his contradictions.
"The Devil is not a monster waiting to trap us, he is a voice inside. Look for the Devil in yourself, not in others. Don't forget that the one who knows his Devil, knows his God."

When I run after what I think I want, my days are a furnace of stress and anxiety;
if I sit in my own place of patience, what I need flows to me, and without pain.
From this I understand that what I want also wants me, is looking for me and attracting me.
There is a great secret here for anyone who can grasp it.
"Whatever happens in your life, no matter how troubling things might seem, do not enter the neighbourhood of despair. Even when all doors remained closed, God will open up a new path only for you. Be thankful! It is easy to be thankful when all is well. A Sufi is thankful not only for what he has been given but also for all that he has been denied." Shams Tabrizi
I wonder what these people think friendship with God is.
That God who created the heavens,who created the earth,who made the universe appear is his friendship gained so easily that you come in and sit before Him,you talk and you listen?
Do you fancy this is a soup kitchen?
You come in and you drink it down?
Then you just leave?
