Fuck it, love and support trans men, the people who hate us can eat shit.
Fuck people who deny our problems, fuck people who belittle us for speaking out, fuck people who try to make our problems about others, fuck people who hate us because a trans guy was mean to them once, fuck people who tell us to separate our manhood and masculinity from our trans identity, fuck people who tell us what we can and can’t do, fuck people who tell us what we do and don’t experience, fuck people who assume we hate other people in the community for speaking up, fuck people who act like invisibility and erasure is a privilege, fuck the people who ignore our murders and hate crimes, fuck the people act like forced detransition isn’t “that bad”, fuck “allies” that blame the rest of the community’s issues on trans men, fuck people who tell us it’s our fault terfs invade our spaces, fuck people that don’t care about transphobia when it’s aimed at us. Fuck transphobes.
I’m a trans man and I’m angry. I should be allowed to be angry about this.
Love and support the trans men around you, we go through hell everyday and people WILL go out of their way to try and hide it from you. Give your trans mascs/male mutuals some love. Tell us you see us and you hear us, it’s more important than you think.

Friendly reminders to cis fanfic writers that afab≠woman
Afab means assigned female at birth so this includes/can include cis women, trans men, transmasc people, nonbinary people, and intersex people.
If you’re making a fic where the reader is a woman, uses she/her, wears feminine clothing, etc. tag it as fem reader instead.
I’ve been smacked in the face as a trans man by reading fics tagged afab thinking it will be gender neutral, but the reader is actually a woman and I’m disappointed because I was ready for a fic I thought would apply to me.
Have fun writing and make sure you’re tagging your fics properly, ty <3

It would be great if we, collectively as a community, stopped throwing other lgbt people under the bus to talk about our own issues. It’s really not that necessary.
Like to would be great if we talked about transfem problems without randomly throwing in “yeah because transmascs have it so easy!”
It would be great if we could talk about the issues that come with being a certain sexuality without complaining about lesbians, or bisexuals, or gay men, or polyamorous people and how we think everything is about them (newsflash: its not and they have their own issues because being any type of queer is hard)
It would be great if we could let other lgbt people have representation and be happy for them, instead of turning it into complaining about how others don’t have as much representation. You know you can talk about wlw shows getting cancelled without making mlms feel bad for getting another season of heartstopper right? It’s not their fault and it’s good that they’re getting rep.
We can talk about our issues without making other queer people out to be our enemy, because they’re not

The trans experience on social media:
Me: Hey, (non disclosed social media), this person has started to leave really mean comments on my posts. Can you do something about it?
Social media: Mmm, no it doesn’t seem like this violates any guidelines
Me: Hey, (non disclosed social media), this person is now leaving very hateful comments and has been harassing me for a few days, can you do something about it?
Social media: No, they’re not doing anything wrong at all, have you tried blocking them?
Me: Hey, (non disclosed social media), this person is now sending me and my mutuals death threats and hate crime threats, which is clearly hate speech against lgbt people, can you PLEASE do something about it?
Social media: Mmm, fine I GUESS this violates our guidelines
Me: Hey, (non disclosed social media), taking down these comments did absolutely nothing, they’re still harassing me and sending threats along with making hateful posts about me wishing harm and sending people after me, along with stalking my other accounts on different platforms, can you please do something about this?
Social media: Okay, this definitely violates our guidelines, we’ll take the comments and posts down
Me: Hey, (non disclosed social media), this didn’t do anything and they’re still harassing me, can you ban them? They’ve had multiple violations in a row
Social media: No, there doesn’t seem to be any violations here. Can’t ban them.
Me:… okay, well I’m going to make a post bringing awareness to this where I will, very justifiably, be just a tiny bit less than nice about it
Social media: NO WHAT THE FUCK??? THIS IS HARASSMENT AND BULLYING. THIS IS HATE SPEECH AND THREATS. CAREFUL, ONE MORE STEP IN THE WRONG DIRECTION AND YOU’RE BANNED BUDDY!

I’m a trans man that has had dysphoria since I was a child. I am a trans man that was boyish growing up. I am a trans man in an unaccepting household. I am a trans man who strictly uses he/him. I am a trans man that is strictly masculine. I am a trans man that is gay because I am a man that likes men.
I am the “real trans person” that you people claim you are defending, but I really just want you to shut up.
When it comes down to it I will be discriminated against the same as a feminine trans man, masculine trans woman, anyone on the aromantic and/or asexual spectrum no matter their identity, someone who uses neopronouns or xenogenders, etc.
Coming from the trans/gay person you claim you’re defending: I don’t want you. You make things worse for all of us. My oppression is not “worse” than any other queer persons’s. Go do something actually meaningful with your time instead of trying to tear a community apart

Okay, so let’s get this straight
This is a single comment Matt got, literally once, that almost immediately, and when I say immediately I mean immediately, triggered the ban of a trans woman:
Tumblr media
And this is what trans people here on tumblr get in just a few hours that takes tumblr staff days and/or weeks, maybe never, to actually take action on, meanwhile in that timeframe these people are still allowed to post and harass trans people as much as they please:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Does this seem fair? At all? This doesn’t seem very queer friendly for “the queerest place on the internet”
Why does the cis white dude get special privileges when someone simply makes fun of him for being a bad ceo, but trans people who are actively being harassed, getting death and harm threats, told to kill themselves, etc. literally have to beg for staff to do something
What’s up with that, @staff? Why do I have to beg to be protected and to have other trans individuals protected by staff when that’s literally your job? I have to beg while these people get to do whatever they want because you never actually do anything about it? That your ceo gets special little boy privilege and can have whoever he wants banned whenever he wants? Why aren’t you doing what you’re supposed to?

Apparently a lot of you guys, especially people who suddenly decide they know everything about transmascs, don’t actually know what invisibility or erasure actually means. You guys phrase it like “the oppressor does not know you exist and ignores you while attacking others” but it’s actually the opposite. The oppressor is making sure YOU don’t see US. The oppressor is making sure that you don’t see the awful things done to transmascs. Transmascs are forced to leave their homes, denied medical care and gender affirming care, forced to detransition, forced into pregnancy, forced to be wives, etc. When transmascs die, many of us are buried with our deadnames, buried as women, and added to a woman statistic instead of being recognized as a transgender person. Terfs and transphobes ARE posting about trans men. Terfs are posting underage transmascs and encouraging harassing them for also being in sports, just like trans women, no matter which team they play on. Transmascs are being threatened and hurt, you’re just not seeing it, or choosing to ignore it. That’s what erasure is. If I’m forced to detransition, become a wife and have kids, that is not a privilege. That is a traumatizing and horrific outcome. If I’m denied medical care, that’s not a privilege. If I die, if I am killed for being trans, today, or tomorrow, or any point in the near future, I will be buried with my deadname and as a woman by my family, no doubt about it. Don’t tell me that that’s a privilege. That is not being ignored, that is having my identity erased, that is sweeping who I was under the rug, and that is in no way a privilege.

Random thing but I get the ick when people start complaining about the phrase “trans men are men” because yeah some people took it too literally, but just shitting on the phrase because it doesn’t completely fit you is annoying. A LOT of trans men including myself find comfort in the phrase, and it’s okay if you don’t think the phrase fits you or you use the trans man label even if it doesn’t quite fit you, but oh my god stop shitting on something that other people find comforting, not everything is some kind of personal way to discriminate against you.
“Trans men are men is the most harmful things we’ve ever said!” Oh my god SHUT THE FUCK UP that phrase has done so much to help bring trans men support and visibility, you’re so fucking ignorant and just wanna complain about something. Not everything is about you, you can just fucking explain it to someone if it doesn’t fit you instead of trying to bring down a perfectly fine and helpful movement to trans men.

Sucks that on this platform I have to deal with going back and forth between transphobes calling me the t slur and telling me to kill myself and other queer people getting mad at me for wanting to talk about it/telling me that it doesn’t happen

Hi hi! I was wondering, if it isn’t too much to ask, if you could write a male reader, with Halsin, who is just naturally very cold to the touch. And then Halsin finds out by giving him a hug because his hands are ice cold? If not that’s perfect fine! Have an amazing day/night!!
Halsin With a Cold S/O
A/N: This is funny because I'm the exact opposite, I am way too warm all the time, to the point where my friends use me as a human heater because it gets really cold where I live
Male Reader
Tumblr media
You were already freezing
It was one of the colder days on your travels with you party and you felt yourself getting colder and colder
Well it wasn't really that cold, the temperature was just a little lower than normal, but it was enough to make you shake
When your party settled down for the night, you tried to subtly stay close to the fire
Halsin was sitting next you, making small talk
The two of you had gotten rather close and found comfort in each other's company
The two of you sat close together, almost touching, sharing stories
Halsin had many tales to tell, which helped distract you from how cold you were
The warmth of his body and the fire were actually very comforting
You eventually found yourself leaning up against him
he was surprisingly comfortable despite his rugged appearance
Taking you leaning up against him as an invitation, he wrapped you in a hug
You leaned into him, comforted, but he was taken off guard by how cold you felt
He asked you if you were okay, rather concerned for your health
Were you sick? Poisoned? Maybe cursed during on of your battles?
You had to explain to him that no, nothing was wrong, you were always cold
It didn't completely calm him down, but he did take it for an answer
He held you closer, wrapping his arms around you entirely to keep you warm
Halsin really does give good 'bear' hugs
He held you close for the rest of the night, making sure you were perfectly warm
Halsin really was warm

A few days ago a homophobic Christian started an argument with me and said she would pray for me. I am happy to announce that ever since I have been feeling extra homosexual and transgender. Win for the gays.
All I need now is a guy to kiss me, extra gayness to add to the win.

I just had this cute but chaotic thought and definitely not yearning for more than one fictional character at once and also on my period of two cis men in a poly relationship who have never known anything about periods suddenly fumbling to learn everything they can to help their other ftm partner who just started his period. Like pure chaos as one of them is making tea debating which one is best and trying to find chocolate because he heard it helped once and the other frantically searching the internet for good remedies while the ftm partner is laying in bed, forbidden from getting up, just watching all of this happen

“Transfems have issues and are opressed” and “Transmascs have issues and are opressed” are two sentences that can and should coexist without some asswipe trying to make an argument over who has it worse or trying to make one party feel bad for talking about it and separate us
