Seraphina and Jophiel

These two lovely ladies are Seraphina and Jophiel. They're some adopts I got from a friend and another person I'm familiar with. The more I looked at them and thought about them, the more I got attached. I have a big backlog right now and other priorities, but y'all. I want to draw so much artwork of them. You have no idea. They are girlfriends and I love them. I'm still working on developing them and their story, but I have a rough idea. Seraphina is an up-and-coming idol in the angelic realm and in space. She'd perform on Earth, but. Having four arms and four eyes and not being able to easily hide that would be terrifying to a lot of people. She's the daughter of a cupid and an accountant. I imagine the look and terror of an angel's biblically accurate form depends on their innate magic and power. I also imagine that how intimidating someone's biblically accurate form equals desirability. The reason I'm bringing this up is because Seraphina's mother (she's the accountant) is beautifully horrifying. When she tunes down, its incredibly hard to see her face. Her face just isn't visible in hers and her husband's wedding photos. Seraphina loves and admires both of her parents, and her parents are really proud of her and how far she's come. Jophiel used to be a Power. Her parents were past Powers and they wanted Jophiel to continue that legacy. In fact, she was named after one of the Archangels of old. However, the role wasn't very compatible for her, so she switched to working as a sports model and fitness coach. Because of this, she has a really strained relationship with her family. She tends to come off as cold, uncaring, and incredibly stoic, which has ended a few of her relationships. She and Seraphina were roommates before they started dating. Jophiel is also quite tall. She loves Seraphina's hugs and cuddles because of her arms. Seraphina was designed by wanderstar39 and Jophiel was designed by Sinomis. August is almost coming to the end of this month, but it’s doesn’t mean the summer weather is over yet. While we are still in pandemic as of 2020, I just finished up with my toned gray sketchbook before moving on by trying mix media sketchbook as the start of pre-fall month and even I have a plan for post pandemic future. Started off with my past few weeks sketches done in toned gray is my random drawing of both dinosaurs and semi-realistic people after I practice the head structure as my personal favorite and good help as reference, and especially for based on other social media as well. NEO Akira, Makoto, and Kanon

Akira looks a lot fancier and more professional in account of taking his work and obligations to his family more seriously. Makoto is also starting college soon like Rin and Mayu, and he's trying to look more prim and classy. He's mostly doing it to try and mirror Akira or imitate him with the budget he has. Personality and role-wise, Kanon is a lot different. She's not an antagonistic force like she used to be during the Limbo period. Granted, she and most of everyone else involved minus Neku and Joshua don't remember what happened. I imagine she brightened up her colors to better match with Coco, who she is friends with. I had a lot of fun drawing her and her outfit. I really wanted to go ham with the bows and frills and lace. I like adding those into my art when it fits and when I can. She views Penerope as her senior and "senpai" compared to before, and she looks up to her. She does still use her scythe though. That's a non-negotiable. Akira and Makoto's relationships are both strained with Penerope post-Neku's death. Due to their lack of relationship and view with it compared to her, they didn't take it as seriously. Penerope did not respond to this well, and had a rough fight with the both of them. Akira does still try to talk to Penerope (she ignores them) and they fight whenever they see each other. Makoto does still try to talk to her if she's out in public (mainly when she's running errands) though it ends up being one-sided. It... will take a lot of work to repair either of those bridges.
