Hoatzin are birds native to Amazon and South America. They live above rivers, climbing along branches, as they aren’t very good fliers. Their main food is leaves, with specialized stomachs to digest them, similar to cows! They’re the only bird to do this. but goodness I love those ideas! the starlings especially look extremely pretty and bearded vultures are some of my favorites. and it's also really funny considering their species are the opposite of how big they are in-canon. bearded vultures are BIGGG boys, and they're strapped onto the wings of this itty bitty beasty guy.

Terra especially I can put down as a common cuckoo; they're the best examples of brood parasitism since not all cuckoos are parasites. plus, I just think the colors work with her.
