im being extremely serious, something needs to be done about the brightness of car headlights, its an active public safety hazard. and as far as regulatory measures go, this seems like something with a (comparatively) very easy fix....? yeah conservatives will be all "come and take it" about it but they do that with literally fucking everything bc petulant commitment to making a culture war out of any regulation or mandated changes.
its insane that we've all just collectively accepted that its normal and fine that someone driving a standard sized 4 door sedan will be momentarily blinded by the EYE-LEVEL blue-white LED headlights on the latest model of the suburbitank Pedestrian Pulverizer 3000 or whatever the fuck

The Ken dance is so magnificent because it’s reminiscent of the Golden Age of Musicals when there would just be artful dance sequences for no reason other than the director wanted to have one.

the ninth doctor always goes crazy to me because he wasn't an ambivalent god. he was the benevolent, scarred, and cynical god who cared because he couldn't not. when no one else did. because if he didn't do something, no one else would. he was the one with the power, the responsibility, and it hurt him constantly. every life he watched burn out was a tragedy -- a loss. he kissed a servant girl on the head who no one would remember. he closed the eyes of a dead man. he mourned a pig the military shot. he cared them all, no matter how insignifigant and fleeting their lives could have seemed to his. he was a little mean and a little rude and a lot angry (at everyone at everything) but he also had so much joy. he loved knowing he'd lose. and when he regenerated, he simply looked to rose with that big grin on his face and told her she was fantastic -- and so was he.

he says i hate everyone except you and that is addictive and that is kind of romantic and beautiful because you're young and you're kind of a sarcastic asshole too and you don't like bad boys, per say, but you don't really like good ones either. and you like that you were the exception, it felt like winning.
except life is not a romance book, and he was kind of being honest. he doesn't learn to be nice to your friends. he only tolerates your family. you have to beg him to come with you to birthday parties, he complains the whole time. you want to go on a date but - people are often there, wherever you're going. he's just so angry. about everything, is the thing. in the romance book, doesn't he eventually soften? can't you teach him, through your own sense of whimsy and comfort?
at first - you know introverts often need smaller friend groups, and honestly, you're fine staying at home too. you like the small, tidy life you occupy. you're not going to punish him for his personality type.
except: he really does hate everyone but you. which means he doesn't get along with his therapist. which means he has no one to talk to except for you. which means you take care of him constantly, since he otherwise has no one. which means you sometimes have to apologize for him. which means he keeps you home from seeing your friends because he hates them. you're the single exception.
about a decade from this experience, you'll type into google: how to know if a relationship is codependent.
he wraps an arm around you. i hate everyone except you. these days, you're learning what he's actually confessing is i have very little practice being kind.

The batfamily, after finding out another really important secret, are under the impression that Tim doesn't trust them. Why else would he wait for the last possible minute to inform them of his personal information?
Bruce sets up more team bonding (family time) to try to mitigate this.
Dick drops by Tim's office more with lunch to hang out.
Jason uttered out a really awkward but heartfelt apology about some past wrongdoings.
Steph hauls Tim over her shoulder and then plops him down into outings such as the movies or zoo.
Damian told Tim that his photos are so bad he might as well just give Damian copies of them.
Duke, trying to get to know Tim better, challenges him to see who can solve puzzles faster. He also brings fun inventions to Tim's workshop for them to do together.
Barbara sets up monthly code nights with Tim. She also occasionally passes along fun missions he could do with his siblings.
While all of this is nice, Cass and Alfred know the truth. Tim just finds it funny to watch his family blink rapidly and then go through five stages of grief whenever they unlock more background lore.

"Huh, wild."
"'Huh, wild.'"
[Image description: Fanart comic of a scene from episode 6 of Dimension 20's "Burrow's End," featuring the stoat family and Dr. Tara Steel. Alt text is provided and copied below the cut. End ID.]

Page One: The stoat family is gathered around the walkie, planning with Tara. Tula says, "If we're worried about Tara running this gambit by herself-"
Page Two: Tula speaks to Thorn Vale and continues saying, "You could imitate Tara over the walkie talkie to Wenabocker, and just have her be waiting at the paddock." Elsewhere, Tara asks into the walkie, "Can you do an impression of me?"
Page three: Thorn Vale mimics her, parroting, "'Can you do an impression of me?'" Tara curses (the word censored by a frozen strawberry), catches herself, then says, "Sorry, pants?"

love love love steddie + supportive wanye
thinking about wayne and eddie going on an annual fishing trip (like thee Munson Men Annual Fishing Trip™️) just like a little weekend away. and the first one is coming up after eddie and steve starts dating. over breakfast eddie jokingly complains about having to go and tries to get out of it. but wayne is used to his dramatics so he just gives hmms when appropriate because eddie’s whole spiel never got him out of it before and he tells eddie that.
steve watches the whole exchange with amusement when wayne asks if he’s looking forward to it. and he’s like ??? because he assumed it was just a wayne and eddie thing. and wayne is like i just told eddie all munsons must go can’t get out of it kid.
steve gets flustered and is internally is like oh??? all munsons,,,
or like after the trip a neighbor asks wayne if they caught anything and he pulls out his wallet to show a picture they took on the trip. wayne passes it with ‘here’s a picture of my boys’ and to steve’s surprise it’s a picture of both him and eddie with their biggest catch.
and just idk wayne casually accepting steve into their family and throwing steve off guard with it.

one detail I really liked that I haven’t seen anyone touch on is how death only ever showed up when puss was close to potentially dying, which lead me to realize puss was probably going to drink himself to death at their first meeting
