Manifestation and Mental Heath
As I started the challenge I'm currently doing, it made me think about the importance of mental health when it came to manifesting.
While I personally manifested many things and managed to keep them up, I openly admit I struggle with my main manifestation which is my SP. I am diagnosed with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADD and CPTSD so sometimes it is difficult for me to not let intrusive thoughts inside my head and even sometimes spiral. Because of that, I did overconsume but for a good reason which is mostly find methods to help me deal with my mental issues when manifesting.
One of the things I've learned came from "Letters from a Stardust Soul" which is the importance of keeping a healthy vagus nerve to help you manifest. At first, I was pretty skeptic because one thing I've seen when it came to people that teach LoAss for money or offer services with a cost, is that they use all these fancy words and such to prey on people by looking kinda smart. Still, I decided to give it a try by checking videos on how to keep a healthy vagus nerve and I must say, I am very pleased with the results. I've tried both stretching for somatic trauma release and massages for vagus nerve stimulation and they do work quite.
What is the "vagus nerve" tho? The vagus nerve is responsible for the regulation of internal organ functions, such as digestion, heart rate, and respiratory rate, as well as vasomotor activity, and certain reflex actions, such as coughing, sneezing, swallowing, and vomiting.
That nerve is also associated with anxiety or other problems when it comes to mental health. The more I discovered about this, the more many things made sense, including why my gastroparesis and POTS were worse when my anxiety was skyrocketing. As soon as I began doing vagus nerve massages and somatic exercises, I could have a better mental diet because my anxiety lowered a lot. Plus my physical health also improved. Some of the vagus nerve massages use a tool and I realized I can do those massages with either the jade roller or my gua sha stone.
Here are some of my favorites:
Vagus Nerve Massage for Better Sleep (I do this one with a jade roller)
Jade Roller for Lympathic Drainage (Also stimulates areas that are good for vagus nerve stimulation)
Gua Sha for headaches (Really soothing)
All of the shorts of this channel are really good somatic exercises
You can even do affirmations or visualization while doing these! Highly recommended.
Another thing I read about stimulating the vagus nerve, is cold. That reminded me of the Wim Hof method but I don't recommend having very cold showers or baths suddenly because chronically ill people or people with blood pressure problems can go into shock. Trust me, I went there. But, I started washing my face with cold water and also putting my sheet masks in the fridge for my skin care and trust me guys, it is a game changer for me because I feel more awake and energized. Also, applying a cold cloth at the back of my neck is really good.
So, I really recommend the "Wim Hof method breathing exercises" (forever grateful to @pearlygrace for this recommendation) with a round of skin care with cold water and a cold sheet mask. It is a good combo. And if you're like me and need a hot bath even in the summer for joint and back pain, do the Wim Hof breathing exercises while at the bath tub then proceed with the skincare.
I do short affirmations along with my breathing with the Wim Hof method. For example, when breathing in and breathing out I say these for example:
SP loves me, SP wants me I don't chase, I attract I want it, I got it I am God, I am the Law
This is a way to affirm and do the law while relaxing to the Wim Hof method. You might feel light and tingly afterwards, so if you're doing it while in the bathtub, be careful. I also do this before bed to help me with SATS or if I had a very bad day and I need to calm my anxiety before revising or writing in my wish book (scripting).
Also, there was a post in "He's already yours" that mentioned something when it comes to mental diet and living in the end. When you're anxious and always try to be in control, it's not easy to let go of your desire, especially people with ADD/ADHD tend to accidentally end up waiting and desiring instead of actually living like it is already done. Trust, I've been there and I still fall into my own trap sometimes.
But one of the posts from this insta gave me a nice tip which is making a list of 11 things that are non-negotiables in your day by day. Basically, 11 things you have to do every day for YOUR OWN satisfaction and well-being, things that you enjoy and love because above all you have to love yourself since self-concept is what is the most important in this journey.
From my personal experience, having this list also helps me with dealing with the unwanted effects of the purge/transition period and try to state in my God/Sabbath state. They can be things like skincare, watching shows, etc... You know what you like and what can calm you, so write down that list and look at it every day to remind you of what you like and that you're the most important thing in your reality so your happiness is above everything. That is the key of manifesting at least for me.
But if your anxiety is really bad, make yourself an anxiety box. I had one even before I got into law of assumption and it is a game changer in mental health. I have things like lavender scented things like massage oils and such, a head massager, emergency chocolate, instant noodles, fidget toys, etc... Anything that can help to ease a very big anxiety attack is welcomed, especially to soothe yourself during a spiral. Note what foods you like, what shows or books calm you... Stop for a moment, don't check your phone or anything, just think about what YOU really like and what makes YOU happy and calm. Once you stop, things will come easily.
In a cloudy sky, you cannot see the stars. -Satella's grandfather, every day damn day until his passing
Always allow yourself to feel and release, nothing bad is going to manifest from that especially if you affirm that what you feel at that moment won't affect your manifestation and doesn't define you. Your feelings don't define you, but don't give up. Release them now then continue being the God you are. You can have anything you want even if you cry to sleep one whole night, but don't forget that you're the most important thing in your reality so please take care of yourself and don't give up on your journey.
You are blessed and gifted after all.
Happy journey!

Last night I tried the Wim Hof breathing technique and pink noise thingy, but instead of making me relaxed I got an anxiety attack it was so bad I couldn't even fall asleep and I spent hours crying 💀
I won't try everything I see on here anymore, I'll stick with subliminals and the meditations bc i felt so bad
Not saying it will be the same for yall, but for me is a big no no 🫣 Maybe I did it wrong or something, but I was even following the video 🥺
Anyways, I hope tonight will be different and I get into the void state 🫶🫶💕💕 Lots of love and good energies for yall!

The Man Who Never Gets Cold
Wim Hof, 49, of the Netherlands, possesses such a strong resistance to cold that scientists remain baffled as to how he endures many of the tests to which he exposes his body.
The Guinness world record holder has immersed himself, nearly naked, in ice for one hour and 12 minutes.
In January 1999, he travelled 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle to run a half marathon in his bare feet. Three years later, dressed only in a swimsuit, he dived under the ice at the North Pole and earned a Guinness world record for the longest distance swimming under the ice: 80 meters, almost twice the length of an Olympic-size pool.
Hof earned more recent renown for scaling Mount Everest in his shorts.
Hof told ABC News' "20/20" that his ability to withstand cold temperatures was something he discovered more than two decades ago.
"I had a stroll like this in the park with somebody, and I saw the ice and I thought, 'What would happen if I go in there?' I was really attracted to it. I went in, got rid of my clothes. Thirty seconds I was in," Hof said. "Tremendous good feeling when I came out. And since then, I repeated it every day."
Dr. Ken Kamler, author of "Surviving the Extremes," has treated dozens of people who tried to climb Mount Everest and nearly died from the frigid temperatures. When he heard that Hof had ascended the mountain wearing shorts, he became intrigued and began to study the Dutchman. He believes that Hof's ability lies in the wiring of his brain.
"It's very easy to speculate that the same mind control that you use to control your heart when you're scared also can be called upon to control the other organs in the body. And maybe that's how Wim Hof does this," said Kamler. "It's speculation, but it sort of makes sense, and a lot of scientists are working very hard to try to figure this out now."

Because you have fire in you. This is why you look into the sky, why you make wishes, why you tread lightly. You, too, are the air, because inside you there is fire. Why do you think we breathe? Because we are kindling our fires.” - C. JoyBell C.

Lifebushido Stories: James Stewart
Bushido, Dinnerbushido, Coffeebushido, Lifebushido and BushidoSteve. This story is of James Stewart’s Bushido. Bushido is a word associated with Samurais in Japanese and Lifebushido, a word invented by Steve Kantor, resulted in creating many real life Samurai’s hurtling towards their passion.
Tumblr media
James Stewart is one such Samurai. He defines Bushido as, “A unique gift or talent that you want or you want to improve. A passion that you want to pursue and make difference to the rest of the world.” Bushido had a definite impact on James. He has met tens of other Samurai’s pursuing their Bushido virtually or as a part of Bushido events like Coffeebushido and Dinnerbushido. He describes the impact of Bushido as, “There’s a big difference in having words up here (in mind) and actually writing down on paper. It (writing down) transforms them. It was challenging to codify my goals in words for first couple of times, but I kept doing it. It was like saying the magic word, abra cadabra. It gave a greater sense of care and deliberateness to my goals.” Another benefit James has realized is the community of Bushido enthusiasts that Steve has created. James mentioned about his own cultural awareness that he has achieved by traveling and meeting people all around the world. He says, “It never fails to amaze me how vast variety of different people that Steve knows. I have spoken to people from 4-5 different continents, from different walk of life. Every one of those is different, but the idea of following their Bushido and sticking to their passion was common. I probably had 20-25 one-on-one Bushido interactions and many more in groups. I have only not found less than five people exciting.”
James has been part of Gobundance men’s group. Few of the men from the group were regularly interacting through Marco Polo video chat, including Steve and James. In those interactions they would share ideas about mutual well-being. James was introduced to BushidoSteve in the middle of 2022. James became curious. He did not go looking for dictionary meaning for the word Bushido, but he knew few Japanese motivational words and he found that vibe in Bushido. In his own words, “It was a little wild. I heard word Bushido Steve before I heard the word Bushido (by itself). Steve is unique. He is not mainstream. So it certainly sparked some curiosity, but also Steve and Bushido connected. It had certain anticipation. Because I have heard few other Japanese motivational words, it sat with me in a positive way.”
James’ Bushido is to “Create space and facilitate transformational change in people with the power of breath work.” His goal is to help 5000 people by the end of year 2023, organize breathing retreats, and create digital product to spread the awareness of breath work. He has already helped over a thousand people. Born in Australia, and after doing business in four different countries, James is now settled in the United States. He is certified in Wim Hof method and The Language of Breath. His interest in breath work was born out of existential questions in his mind like ‘why are we here?’ and ‘who am I?’ He says that in younger years he was gravitated towards the external motivations, but as he was gradually attracted towards meditation and internal motivation his interest in breath work grew. In his own words, “Breath work is the easiest way to slow down, calm down and stop that monkey-mind that continuously chattering.” Over the years, James grew more proficient in breath work. He provided breath work service to many people, motivating them. At this moment in life, he is sure of his techniques, and confident of reading his audience to offer them breath work that is the most appropriate. With the help of Lifebushido community and motivation, and his own experience and expertise, James will achieve his goals.

Almost 13h fast so far, will probably go another 9 hours or so. And after the third round of wim hof I was able to hold my breath for a bit more than 2 and a half minutes. 🦇
Doing things that are hard to do can help you create a stronger mentality.

And mental toughness and training, being in control of oneself, having that inner strength no matter the situation we're facing is extremely important for Batman training. 🧘‍♂️🦇💪🏼
