Alright, here’s the back story on this image: one of my good friends made himself a picture just like the one above. However, he used a black and white picture which signifies the characters who died in Avengers: Infinity War. I called him out on it and he was like “would you avenge, though?” I was like “hell yeah” and put together this image. That and I love Marvel, so I just needed an excuse to hop on this trend.

I tried out this Indian restaurant and I’ve got to say, it was some of the best, Indian food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Everything about it was delicious, from what I ordered to the dessert which was that mango shake you see in the second picture. I’d plug their restaurant name but then it would give off my location. Before having dinner at this one, Indian restaurant, my sister’s husband and mother-in-law wanted to stop by Lowe’s to pick up something for the backyard. To be honest, I had no idea what they were shopping for. I was tuned out the moment they mentioned it. White people, I swear. Anyway, here I am posing with expensive, outdoor furniture.

Went to this local, chili competition which my sister’s mother-in-law entered at the last minute and won second place. Crazy, right? It was also my first time being at a cooking competition. I was surprised by all the pots of chili and plates of snacks they had at the venue. Not to mention, the coolers worth of free beer that was being given out by local brewers. Got buzzed after a few cups. I know. I’ve become such a lightweight. All the more reason to drink again.

I spontaneously got a haircut with my sister. The hairstylist asked me what I wanted and I showed her an old picture of Zayn. Yes, that Zayn. The one from One Direction and that had a song about talking to your pillow or something. Anyway, she glanced at the picture and knew exactly what I was going for. Granted, I don’t look exactly like Zayn. I look way better.

I went to check out the Torpedo Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia with the family. It’s the first art gallery I’ve been to since I left Guam. I wasn’t sure what to expect just because I wasn’t familiar with the art scene in southern Maryland or northern Virginia. However, I was surprised and inspired all at the same time. I came across different mediums of art. I’m talking different, like there was this one showcase that had aquarium art. Aquarium art. I’ve never heard or seen that. Ever. Not to mention, there was a photographer whose pictures I fell in love with. He has this one picture I’m dying to order and hang up in my room. All in all, it was a fun trip and experience and I recommend it to any of you if you’re ever in the area.

The first photo was after I brushed six inches of snow off my car, shoveled the entire driveway, and got hit on the face and head by snowballs. Courtesy of my sister and her husband. The second photo was intended to be a cover photo for social media. However, in trying to maintain an aesthetic, I made myself appear complex and in deep thought for the picture.

I wrote a song about Meiji’s Karl Cheese Puffs because it was discontinued and people from my home island of Guam were quite sad about it. I know what you’re thinking: They’re sad about chips? Yes, but along with tasting great, it gave people a sense of nostalgia from how long it’s been around. Anyway, what started off as a funny concept turned out to be a decent song. Me, my sister and her in-laws drove down to the pier to watch the fireworks from across the lake. It was sort of an early celebration for 4th of July since it'll be on a Wednesday. As you can tell, I didn't have much light to work with, but I managed somehow. I'm still learning.
