Late Night musings

I have this headcanon that both Jake and Javy love Princess and the Frog so much, that they name both their daughters after Tiana and Charlotte.

Like I can just imagine them both being the best girl dads ever, supporting their daughters and cheering them on every step of the way.

I think they love Princess and the Frog so much because firstly, it's set in Javy's hometown of New Orleans. Secondly, they both have a beautiful friendship just like Charlotte and Tiana, that has lasted for at least a decade. Both Jake and Charlotte are these crazed blondes that need their best friends to reign them in and in turn, they show Javy and Tiana how to live in the present. And, both Charlotte and Jake would do anything to help their best friends, like literally walk(or fly) through hell for the other.

guys guys guys

i want to show y’all my oc i made today :D

her name is Octavia, and she was one of strips old racing friends! they had a friendship like cal and lightning

she stared racing in 1967 at 17yr and died in 1996 at 46yr with 4 piston cups

she raced for a cigarette company that went out of business in 2000

octavia had a couple nicknames on the track as well, such as:

-“The Kings Executor” bc if you had a problem with strip then you probably had a problem with her, and she dose not let things slide (this lead to her and chick fighting, a LOT)

-“She-Devil” she was a VERY reckless driver and she still holds the record of most fights on track in piston cup history

how strip, the nicest rookie the the track became best friends with a gremlin like octavia, no one knows 🤷‍♀️

my poor boy roger was pulling them out of so much shit, it was unbelievable 😭

i’m also working on another oc named sam thats also in their little group of racers so stay tuned for that 😛

I recently watched The Princess and the Frog, long due I know but I was so THE MOVIE WAS ACTUALLY SO GOOD??? FIRST OF ALL for this in 2009 and Tangled in 2010, the upgrade is FUCKING INSAAANEEEEEE. SECOND, story wise, the real shine of the movie was Charlotte. we all think she's a spoiled rich princess BUT NAH IT WAS SO HEARTWARMING HOW EVEN THOUGH HER ENTIRE GOAL WAS TO MARRY NAVEEN AND FIND TRUE LOVE, SHE EASILY LET HIM GO IN A HEARTBEAT FOR TIANA. that is smth you cant even find that easily in society today AND THAT SHOULD BE FUCKING APPRECIATED. also it's set in New Orleans which is such a slay like Margi Gras city? sign me the fuck up man I loved that shit, Disney before Tangled era really felt like the 90s and it fuckin showed in the movie (positive point) I LOOOVEEEEED IT

Instead of live action remakes, they should revisit the movies and look over concept art and other ideas for the movie before it was settled and they should try to make a NEW movie branching off of similar concepts

Like if the story had potential but between concept art to the final product, the execution was lackluster

#y'know like looking at princess and the frog for example and seeing what went wrong #create a NEW movie but it can branch off from the unused concept art or what that movie failed to do #like not giving tiana as a human emough screentime #or a movie like wish would get another chance as it's own completely other film branching off from the concepts
