Sheer-force-of-will Immortal Tim meet Accidentally Immortal Danny.

It could be interesting to add some lore about Tim coming from mysterious cryptid background or not being Jack and Janet Drake’s biological child. But it is equally entertaining for there to be no explanation other than Tim just Refusing to die.

Logically it shouldn’t work but Danny isn’t going to question it because being half dead and half alive is also technically impossible so clearly both him and Tim have gamed the system.

(You could potentially do ghost king Danny but this one also works with just regular ol’ Danny Phantom)

note!...  sanemi might be out of character bc i haven't written for kny for a long time (my writing has gotten slightly awful since then) and most of the plot doesn't match up(?) right..  this is kind of a draft??? since I written it last minute bc I don't want this idea to slip from my head. also angst and spoilers for the demon slayer: kimetsu no yaiba manga!!

sanemi shinazugawa was never a religious person.

in present time, he doesn't usually pray every night—he doesn't have the time to pray because he knows. he knows God won't listen to his prayers any way, he knows fate won't change for him.

then once again, after that incident, he goes on his knees—scarred hands clasped together—and prays again. he prays, that he won't lose another cared person again.

it was his last pray—two nights before the day his best friend, masachika, died by the hands of a lower moon demon. and when he prayed again (for the last time, he thought, it'd be the last pray), was when the day before tomorrow for the battle, and he prayed that you and genya would be alive after the fight against muzan kibutsuji, the demon king.

the aftermath of it, he decides to go on his kness—and he prays—he prays again. sanemi just can't afford another vengeful God to take any more of his loved ones from him again. not after they took his former best friend, his younger brother, and— you. you.

and he lost you, too.

he lost you, like genya and masachika. like the master and his mother. like everyone he knew deeply, he loved and cared for you like no other.

alas, the Gods took you away.

and again, he prays. with the deaths of his loved ones lingering in his mind.

he can almost feel the firm yet soft touch of yours, the familial caress on his head from his mother and master oyakata, his little siblings' grasps on around his arms, the ghostly arms of genya hugging his body, and masachika placing a hand on his broad shoulder.

when sanemi opens his eyes, nothing is around him. it was just him, in the graveyard, kneeled before your grave beside masachika's. genya's was no wheere to be seen, as his body had disappeared in the battlefield.

he looks—seeing the grand master's grave, and with a sad gaze in his normally aggressive eyes, one could almost miss the tear that slips and falls with a silent drip as rain begins to pour.
