Finally, this is the official post for the seventh
F R A X U S D A Y!
Like previous years, Fraxus Day will be celebrated on November 5th!
We had thrown out a small notification post before but we are still sorry that this official post is released with such a delay! We still hope that everyone is looking forward to the day and wants to participate with different sorts of content <3
As usual there will not be a particular prompt for this day, as opposed to the ship week. You can use whatever theme or idea that comes to mind.
However, we do again invite you to pre-celebrate Fraxus Day with us on Halloween, October 31th! Feel free to tag us in any Halloween Fraxus content you create, and we will make sure to reblog it!
Of course, feel free to share Halloween Fraxus and Fraxus Day Fraxus on separate days. Or post a Halloween themed Fraxus Day entry. Or only post a Halloween edition! Everything is possible, we just wanna dedicate the day to this wonderful ship and celebrate.
Either way, you may use the #fraxusday tag for any entries you post on October 31st and/or November 5th, Halloween themed or not!
As usual we, the admins of fuckyeahfraxus, will be hosting this day Although there are no specific prompts, we do ask you to read the rules if you’re not familiar with them or need a reminder.
Everyone is allowed to participate and basically every sort of entry is allowed! Art, fanfic, edits, headcanons, playlists, aesthetics, … everything! Just make sure that it has to do with Fraxus and does not imply something else, something negative, other rivalled ships or trigger topics like non-consensual stuff. There’s also basic things we usually do not reblog on this blog due to certain reasons; basically anything that has to do with harmful stereotyping.
Please make sure to put either fraxusday or fraxus day in the first five tags of your entry! fraxus will suffice, too, if you forget to tag it otherwise but using the first two named tags will make it easier for us to find the entries for this day. Submitting your work to this blog will be perfectly alright as well if that’s how you’d rather want to participate.

USA, but I'm currently living in another country (non-english) for school. We use PST (Pacific Standard Time) for our countdowns.

No, we are not related by any means to SME. (Believe or not we do get this question a lot).
What does ROKA means?
Republic of Korea Army.
Why some members serve longer in the military? Why Suho, Baekhyun and Kai had more days than the rest of the members?
Korean army hold different positions and services. Baekhyun, Suho and Kai served/are serving as social worker and that position holds 100 days more than an active duty soldier, which is the position the other exo members served so far (except Lay and Sehun).
Can they still work while in the army?
No.
When will Sehun enlist?
There's no way of knowing until him or SME announce it.
What is discharge due COVID-19 protocol? Why was Xiumin and D.O. discharged early than their official discharge date?
Discharge due COVID-19 protocol is when the soldier leaves for his last vacation and doesn't need to come back to his base to avoid any spread of the corona virus. He's free of his military duties but it's still active in the military system. Which means he's not considered a regular citizen yet and can't go back to work or leave the country until his official discharge date. Both Xiumin and D.O. ended their service under that protocol.
What is the age to enlist at ROKA?
Any age between 20 to 30 years, korean age system.
What's korean age system? I saw somewhere that the enlistment age is between 18 and 28 years.
You add 2 years to someone’s age, 1 year if they already had their birthday that year.
Example: A person's 29th birthday is December 31th. By January 1st, that person is 30 years old, and when their birthday arrives, their age doesn't change, only at January 1st from the next year.
How do you count down the days? What app do you use for the countdowns?
BigDay and Goondori (I use iOS, so I'm not really sure if they are available for other systems).

Mayura May is a a month-long event meant to promote fanworks featuring the character Nathalie Sancoeur/Mayura. Fanfiction, fanart, or any other creative projects are welcome, and there will be a new prompt every three days during the event!
RULES:
1) Character/ship bashing, salt, and any kind of hate is not allowed.
2) You are not obligated to create content for all of the prompts! You are free to pick whichever prompt you’d like to do.

🎃 Happy Halloween to all Snape fans all over Tumblr!! 🎃
Here we are, 31th of October, end of the month, end of a challenge...and the day where ghosts, vampires, bats and other witches and wizards will come visit your house and boil their cauldron. "Something wicked this way comes"! - as they say. 🦇
Here is the last piece, the last submission, for this year's Snapetober challenge, made following the prompts for days 29 & 31 (simply because it was an accurate mix, obvviously!), "Costume" and "Halloween Party"!
I had just enough time to try to color it, so I did my best with the delay I had - it's by no mean perfect, and it may need further adjustments, but I hope you'll like it nevertheless! I definitely went with a japanese vibe here - I know it may not please everybody, but I always wanted to draw Sev and Lily wearing japanese style clothes, so I took this opportunity to enjoy myself a bit!^_^ Severus and Lily are also wearing "kitsune" masks, which are spirit foxes from the japanese folklore (Snape wears the black, Lily the white, that represent opposing forces), while they are taking the pose in Slughorn's heavily decorated office, for what seems to be a Slug Club's Halloween costumed party.
The flowers I drew are called "red spider lilies" - they symbolise separation and death, and when I learnt about the symbolic of this sort of lily, I was surprised I'd never seen it in any Severus and Lily art! I thought that I had to use it in my one pieces, regarding how fitting it was for representing Severus and Lily friendship's heartbreaking story.
I really hope you'll enjoy it - I definitely put all my heart in this last drawing, that I wanted to make as detailed as I could! I don't know if the occidentals and oriental influences blend nicely tho - do not hesitate to tell me. :-)
Anyway - I wanted to thank you - everyone of you who liked, shared, and took the time to write tags and comments that either made me amused and thoughtful, but always put a smile on my face! As someone who posted some Snape on tumblr for what is nearly the first time, I was astonished to get so much appreciation and support and kind words, and really - I've said it a lot before, but you can't imagine how much it meant and means to me.
When I started the challenge I couldn't think for one second that some of my drawings could get more than ~20 notes. You all are awesome, you really are. And that's definitely your unexpected support that gave me the will to do everything I could to complete the inktober challenge - and to eventually manage this goal for the first time in my life. I've been trying it for nearly 6 years and miserably failed each time after 3 or 4 mediocre drawings I couldn't be satisfied of. Can't believe I could do the 16 ones I intended to do, in due time. And I owe it to all to you. ♡
I loved to participate in the challenge - I loved to browse the posts tagged with the #snapetober 2021 and to see other talented artist's works, I loved to imagine how to mix the prompts and how to make a fitting illustration based on the themes from @sxvxrxssnape, and I also loved to, somehow, get it touch and get to know some of you a little bit. I'm on my knees now, and I confess that it all made me very tired ahah.
But it felt really good, and I look forward to share more drawings and discussions with all of you fellow Snape fans. I'm now convinced that it will be a very good place to come to and that I will love it with every fiber of my being.
