hi i have a master's in ecological preservation practices in precolonial america and an assisting bachelor's of native American history with a double minor in ecology and prehistorical farming practices. I am also a proud Na'rutan. i do not approve of the way people are choosing to attack you and i am instead choosing to inform you. generally, taking one or two or three rocks from a location is not very harmful as long as they are not placed back outside in a different location. taking a large bag filled with rocks however, can be extremely detrimental to the hyperlocal ecosystem you took them from. doing this effects the ecosystem by removing homes for animals and insects, it also effects the rivers natural flow and you can unknowingly disturb things like fish egg sacs and other developing animals. it can also remove vital nutrients from the land as rocks provide much nutrients to the earth and water that they naturally resided in. it can also cause negative effects on the area the rocks were newly introduced to, this is null if you plan on exclusively keeping them in your house, but this means if you want to put them in your garden for instance, you could cause an outbreak of a new illness among the earth and those living in it. in general, taking large amounts of rocks from anywhere besides say, a parking lot, is pretty damaging on all ends and i wouldn't recommend it. that being said, i am a rock collector, i just am very selective with where and how many rocks i remove from a natural environment.

thank you for taking the time to send this and put informed thought into it. i do understand the repercussions, but this is all based on a tumblr post i made in passing without very much thought or effort while in a very good mood, i was being hyperbolic bc i was so excited. it wasnt a large bag and i really didnt take that many, just some big ones and some small ones, which when put into one bag was heavy compared to my tote bag that was carrying a paperback book and two small journals and my purse with barely anything of substance in it. thats why i keep saying these anons are basing their arguments in assumptions bc they frankly do not know the half of it! im planning on keeping them inside, im aware that putting stuff from one environment into another can fuck up both and it wasnt something i was considering. i didnt take most of the rocks i took from the actual water but from the sand and the dirt leading to/from the parking lot and i did feel bad about possibly evicting bugs n stuff and thats one of the reasons i picked up so much trash (also its just the right thing to do, even tho the better thing would be for others to just not litter) i literally do not think at all though that i should have to defend myself this hard or at all when the ppl arguing against me absolutely do not have the facts on what i did and are literally always looking for something to be mad at and stumbled upon me and my loosey goosey tumblr post that was not in fact a historical documentation of the event but a gesture of something i did that wasnt supposed to mean anything and was just supposed to be a quick caption for some pictures i took outside. it was just a post i made bc i had a good day for once and did smth meaningful to me. you guys are not entitled to how or why or rlly what was meaningful or anything for that matter. i shouldnt have to share every detail for you guys to not take smth in bad faith or to make you understand that while yes i did something that wasnt the best for the environment that sometimes being a human with feelings means you do that kind of stuff anyways. it isnt this big of a deal AT ALL and im tired of thinking about it. im not saying its okay to fuck over the planet when youre in the mood for it either im just saying i didnt fuck over the planet and im just a person and i dont strive to be perfectly good and sometimes i will do things that arent morally golden shining and pure and not feel that bad about it simply bc DUH! when im saying yall its not necessarily about u anon bc i do respect where ur coming from and that you said what you had to say like this but literally this isnt the end of the world i prommy

undiagnosed neurodivergency in a home where you cant really talk about it for fear of parents not understanding and/or getting you help or think youre faking is really fucking frustrating. ive stopped caring about my grades because constantly stressing about them and being anxious about all my work was a horrid lifestyle and im sick of having yet another anxiety inducing shitfest. and theyre getting all mad about my grades n shit and in the process making me less likely to do them. but even when i want to do work, executive dysfunction is hell. ill think scroll thru tumblr for hours and not even move and think about the fact i have school to do 500 times but i cant make myself just get up and do it. i keep scrolling and before i know it the days gone and ive done jack shit and my parents are still mad cause they think im not trying and im honestly about to truly just stop trying whatsoever. im done. im trying, a whole fucking lot, but they wont get that. and on top of that even i do get a chance at help i cant go back to my therapist that i really like because she advised me not to tell my parents i was queer and they found out about that and got mad as hell. my therapist was right anyway. “yOu dOnT hIdE sHIT frOm yOuR pArEnTs” i hide pretty much 90 percent of myself and life from them. mostly out of spite and inevitable unnacptance if i were to tell em. im so pissed and anxious and starting to get depressed again about this its so stupid. they tell me theyre upset about my grades and threaten to take my whole life away, and then when i try and even think about doing work i cant because theyre whole “punishment” they’re threatening to implement will severely hurt me and make me spiral. theyre threats to take my internet access made me anxious to the point of nearly fully switching and ive realized i have yet another neurodivergency. theyre making it even harder to work and expecting me to work harder and i cant fucking stand it anymore. i may end up just blowing up in their faces and getting in even more trouble for that. fucking hell life is frustrating. i wanna go kick a wall and scream to the heavens but i cant even get my stupid self out of bed damnit. damn the school systems and damn conservative america. the constant making up scenarios in my head of just fighting with them is getting tiring. i go thru five of those and ill be burnt out for the day but all of done is whisper at a wall and pretend im yelling at them. at the end of the day id rather be happy and failing my classes than self harming and gettinf straigt as but apparently happiness isnt a choice. i just wanna scream honestly. im so mad to the point im calm. im starting to get a headache from it which has never happened before. thanks for reading this if you have, you dont have to respond in a post, or even read the whole thing. i just needed an outlet, sry

EDUARD REVIEWS SHOWS ONYX EQUINOX - ITS REALLY GOOD

wait @egoraptor is a voice actor in this show? ITS AMAZING. "onyx equinox" its a new dark story telling show with real intriguing mysticism which leaves you impressed with all the research and quality they have managed to do by its simple enviormental storytelling the story its very well designed and directed, the world building aspect of it its amazing you can tell the subtle details and how society exists by the simple mannerism of the people. THe whole mistery and intrigue just leaves you with so many questions it leaves you baffled THe sound design feels very connected to the action on the scenes and there is a amazing hype feeling as it just evokes the feeling that i didnt had since avatar of simple wonderment that i will certainly save some on my phone as that sense of character is hidden gold . i jsut love the sound design of it, a good sound design and soundtrack can carry a whole series and evoke and accentuate storytelling elements so much better than you could’ve done alone.

I still have music and soundtrack from songs that i probably would never watch again but the sounds and music design keeps staying with you long after the show ends its running and episodes. And its a way to introduce people to shows that you would’ve forgotten it otherwise .

The animation of it is really cool i could totally see multiple influences coming here such as a big anime influence combined with western france type animation. which it goes really well making something uncannily unique and interesting with both of their strenghts This seems to be a new current as KIPO was also a combination of these 2 or i wasn’t aware of the current yet The authors touch you can also see as there are certain shapes and ideas depicted in a certain way. Also can we talk about the smoothness and the fluidity of the aimation? Its very vivid and life like i would say as you can see the weight in every slice and emotion in every gesture and feel connected to the characters. The scenes in the trailer remind me of a very old show “the shaman king” which seems like somewhat inspired characters as they both have a certain feel and a few good similarities that can be certainly contributed that they were possibly a big fan in the late 90′s or the mid 2000′s where i’ve seen them. When i first watched that scene it reminded me of being 9 year old and being amazed at every scene of the show and felt enamored with all the action which rarely happens anymore so this just goes on and says how good the show is. But yeah i also can’t believe that arin hanson from game grumps is also a key voice actor for one of the important characters in the show he has a great voice i couldn’t even tell it was him but some of the authority from his voice was definitely very interesting. i really want to see more and to know what happened after that city sunk. Who is that giant blood demon that destroyed the city and hows gonna things evolve as its a big part of the uncharted territory From what i’’ve seen the author being from south america has also done his research along with his team and made specific choices that make it true to the mythology. As their mythology isnt that well known to me beside the basics i can’t tell more beside they are visually interesting and certainly i would’ve been shocked and scared to see them kill my city So this is one of the shows that will make 2020 better as i eagly await new episodes of shows and a new way to talk about things and about my hyperfixation on things as it probably more healthy to talk about it here. I’m sure there are a lot more things to say but its 2 am and im tired So in conclusion i have very high hopes for this show and i am looking forward with its blank slate and just open imagination of the all unique ways it can develop this dark but very intriguing story who doesnt need to pull punches with rating to make it interesting. Its a mature show with some mature elements shouldn’t be watched by childrne but otherwise very good

there was good stuff here. i am confused abt the rs in HS and i think it’s true that he needs help. getting help is constant! and with paranoia and self harm you absolutely can go off the rails. even with stuff like anxiety esp OCD i know when i have things i hold on to and have to let go cos it’s literally an ocd tic for me. i really like teh way he is portrayed but idk. i like the actor.

i have a bone to pick with the costume designer abt the pants on both xuan and yi tho. it’s ugly.

also i love how much shu yi loves him and i love hearing him speak japanese and his dad is going to hell which doesnt exist but it does and hes in it

does anyone know whyyyyy there were images of him sitting in his lap but we didnt get the scene? it’s when theyre in the office with the emails (god, america ruined this word for me forever. i just went EMAAAAIIIIILLLLS if u know u know) and uhhhhhh another 5 hours of us watching them :)

Also i know im not the only bitch mad that they used Lamar as a plot device to basically advance john walkers bitch ass. However comma i honestly wish marvel wouldve actually kept my homeboy around and actually made him into y’know battlestar-like the comics bruv-the power this man couldve had. I feel like tfatws is hitting a lot of like key points regarding phase four of marvel and it’s really introducing the fact that race, class, etc all play a huge deal in a lot of characters lives and development but im genuinely irritated that they just used Lamar as Walker’s black sidekick to mimick that of sam and steve-basically subduing sam as a sidekick-and enforcing the black sidekick stereotype. Like i know it’s an important piece to sam’s storyline and to sam essentially becoming captain america but Lamar’s character could’ve been executed in so many different ways that still played on the stereotype of the black sidekick that eventually movese to become his own person (because us agent aka john walker is a BAD GUY YALL PLEASE DONT HAVE ANY HOPE OR FAITH IN THIS CUNT). I feel like Lamar might not actually be dead-and I wanna hope that he isn’t and that they didn’t cop out of a dope character like him in the MCU because if yall wanna get a little dorky with me here-in the comics he does get heavily injured around i think the civil war arch if im not mistaken here-this is all based on memory okay my adhd is screaming rn-but Cap’s team (in this case it would be Sam’s team bc sam is the only cap i acknowledge atp since steve is old and wrinkly somewhere) actually helps his ass and he eventually joins their side.

Now okay stay with me here yall. So if Lamar isn’t actually dead-just heavily injured-he is the one who essentially encouraged John walker to take the super soldier serum, meaning that if he’s alive and they follow the nationalist piece of shit arch for walker/us agen-which evidently i think they are bc the amount of racialized social cues in the show thus far show that, esp when he talks down to ayo and the dora milaje who are single handedly some of the strongest (human) warriors in marvel-but im gonna hope my big homie lamar isnt actually dead and he gets to live through to become the actual character he’s supposed to be because he’s a good guy unlike john walkers bitch ass. Also another thing about this episode of tfatws like it was just an iffy vibe i got here-DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK THAT AYO AND BUCKY HAD SOMETHING????? like ik in the comics ayo and okoye are actually together but in the mcu adaptation okoye is married i think. HOWEVER I JUST FEEL LIKE THE BETRAYAL FROM BUCKY TOWARDS THE WAKANDANS IS SO MUCH DEEPER THAN JUST THE SURFACE LEVEL OF FREEING ZEMO. there’s something there and until proven otherwise i refuse to believe the two didn’t fornicate or something bruv.

Also sam is so fine, i have to include that in every post i make about tfatws atp because sam doesnt get enough love and im tired of people acting like hes not fine as hell because he is, and he’s a great fucking character with a dope background and im glad they’re expanding on it in the show. However comma one thing i have to mention is that the mcu is definitely missing a few boxes for me in terms of the racial stigmas and dealing with racism, prejudice, etc in the show as of right now, i feel like things are being glossed over because they’re supposed to be inferred or symbolic-but for a majority of the white audience they’re not exactly gonna get shit because a lot of them don’t really understand racial stigmas and symbolism the way the bipoc audience does. and honestly theres a fuck ton of racism within the marvel fandom itself-like i know yall remember the ending of endgame when steve originally gave sam the shield and the literal outrage from a multitude of racist ass white people mad as hell bc the next captain america is gonna be black. Mfers act like they read the comics and refuse to acknowledge that CAPTAIN AMERICA WASNT ALWAYS A BLONDE WHITE MAN. I need them to expand more on Isaiah Walker’s character more and hopefully have more interactions between him and sam, because while he’s incredibly resentful (as he should be) towards Bucky and towards white people in general-he’d be a key element in sam’s development and in sam’s realization that he’s supposed to be captain america regardless of if America’s ready for a black cap or not.

Oh and another thing while im on my tangent I’m gonna hope and pray that the introduction of his grandson alongside wanda’s kids in wandavision is a large hint at the formation of the young avengers and that marvel actually does go that way-and y’know executes it well because kids can be fucking annoying.

A complete guide to how the asexual community is NOT lying about the pathologization of asexuality and how many aces(even young ones)have had their asexuality tried to be“fixed” and “converted back to normalcy”

Trigger warning : Conversion therapy,abuse

As if the so called ace “”discourse””( which has till now involved aphobes and exclusionists comparing ace people to nazis,pedophiles,white supremacists,slave owners,homophobes, ,talking over ace WOC by white people, telling ace people AND kids to kill themselves,victim blamig and gaslighting ace victims of rape, putting extremely graphic sexual content into asexual tags and sending sexual content to ace minors and adults who are are suffering from sexual trauma even after they told them to STOP ) could not get any worse, we now have these pathetic excuses of human beings accusing ace people of lying about their trauma and abuse just so that they can justify their harassing of ace people.

Im TIRED of seeing these “”highly intellectual people”” keeps repeating bullshit arguments so im gonna make this post addled with appropriate resources and links to handle these two topics:

How asexuality is pathologized

Can the abuse and trauma ace people go through when people try to “convert ace people back to normalcy” and “fix” their asexuality really be called “conversion therapy”?

This is gonna be long,but i hope you will stick with me though this because im going to try as much as possible to make this as source-fuilled and educational for yall. So here we go:

1. Has asexuality really been pathologized?

Short answer,Yes. Many mental health professionals had consideredasexuality an illness throughout history.There are many articles talking about it.Up till 2013, indicators of asexuality like lack of sexual attraction,sexual fantasies towards other people, lack of interest in sex etc were basically classified as Hypoactive sexual desire disorder in the DSM which was revised just to include that all those indicators WOULD be considered as a “symptom” of HSDD unless a person self identified as “asexual” which wasnt much useful since not everyone(especially young people) might know that they are ace and can be pressured by their peers into going through the “treatment” for HSDD .They did the same thing before they removed homosexuality from the DSM.

Heres the long answer :

Throughout history , asexuality has brought out bigots to talk about how “unnatural” it is and how it obviously is a “mental illness/disorder” bc experiencing sexual attraction is always considered an inherent experience to almost all living beings.There are many medical and psychological articles either directly referring to asexuality as a disorder or referring its main indicators like “lack of sexual attraction,sexual feelings towards other people”etc as a mental disorder.

But the most well known instance of pathologization of asexuality is the HSDD (Hypoactive sexual desire disorder).It has been in both The International Classification of Diseases and Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders both which are used by mental health professionals and psychologists to diagnose people.

There was a huge pushback against HSDD by asexual activists bc it categorized all indicators of asexuality like lack of sexual attraction,sexual fantasies towards other people and lack of sexual desire etc as a disorder.As a result, asexuality was officially given an exception in the DSM-V by stating that if a person experiencing all the symptoms of HSDD self ID’d as asexual then they wont be diagnosed with it.This seemed a good enough thing to do and acephobes keep bringing it up to show how “different HSDD is from asexuality” and how “The medical world has “”accommodated”” itself for the comfort of ace people” but this act and the whole concept of a “Hypoactive sexual desire disorder” are considered problematic and have been put through questions not only by ace people, but feminists and activists too . Heres why :

1. The person STILL has to identify as asexual to be not diagnosed.Asexuality still isnt as visible and well known of an orientation so if a person doesn’t know that they’re asexual, the DSM does no work to sufficiently differentiate between these “sexual disorders” and a sexual identity. so it could very well happen that someone who doesn’t know that they’re asexual is convinced by a therapist that they have a sexual abnormality that needs to be corrected(x) .Taking into consideration the fact that a lack of sexual attraction is still seen as a sign of “brokenness” etc , the aphobia ace people face from their peers,how sex is seen an inherent part of one’s relationship and the immense number of ace people who experience internalized aphobia, theres a higher chance of ace people being pressurized into lying about not being ace and being made to go through treatment of HSDD .

2. The asexuality exception is not included in the diagnostic criteria, but a different part of the text. The desk reference version, which is the smaller version most psychiatrists will use because the actual DSM is a monster of a book, only contains the diagnostic criteria. So, unless a doctor is very familiar with the update DSM, you could still be diagnosed despite identifying as asexual. (X)

3.The DSM is put out by the APA, an American organization and is not used internationally in ALL countries.The international appx. equivalent to the DSM is the ICD (International Classification of Diseases) where an exception of asexuality is NOT made like they did in DSM-V. So many countries where DSM-V is not followed are free to diagnose ace people with almost no repercussions.

4.There is till NO distinction made between HSDD and asexuality and all indicators of asexuality are still considered “symptoms” of HSDD. the DSM does no work to sufficiently differentiate between these “sexual disorders” and a sexual identity. so it could very well happen that someone who doesn’t know that they’re asexual is convinced by a therapist that they have a sexual abnormality that needs to be corrected(x) Just putting “All these signs are of HSDD unless a person identifies as asexual” is literally the same as saying “Being attracted to the same gender and/or being attracted to more than two genders is a disorder unless a person identifies as gay/bi”.In fact a very very similar thing was done to homosexuality in the DSM before homosexuality was deleted off entirely as a disorder.

5.Im not even gonna get into the fact that alot of people have pointed out how the big push to keep HSDD in the DSM came from the pharmaceutical companies who need this diagnosis to exist so thatthey can market a drug called Flibanserin and both of these thingshave been called out by both ace as well as non ace feminists bc studies showed it improved very little in terms of sexual satisfaction in its participants and has potentially big risks(x) and MANY women disinterested in sex(weather ace or not) were pressurized to undergo treatment of HSDD and use flibanserin bc of the misogynist belief that women need to put out more than care about their safety white taking it bc thats not the point of this post.

But just for yalls consideration : Just bc there is a disorder in the DSM doesnt mean that its legit.Female hysteria,homosexuality were considered disorders.As an amazing post here said : “until psychology stops operating in terms of “inappropriate behavior” and starts looking at patients’ experiences of symptoms as stressful and unpleasant, it will be an enforcement of ableism first and an aid to the mentally ill last.” . Unless someone goes through some trauma which make them LOSE their capability to feel sexual attraction and desire,i’ll consider any “disorder” which automatically assumes lack of sexual attraction and desire “unnatural”, as doubtful .

So yeah , asexuality still technically remains pathologized and ace people still are at a risk of being diagnosed and being forced/pressurized to undergo treatments which arent usually even that effective and have health risks associated with them.On to the next topic :

2.Can ace people call the trauma and abuse they went through when people tried to “convert ace people back to normalcy” and “fix” their asexuality “conversion therapy”?

First off, Read THIS And THIS. Now,

Short answer,Yes. Maybe they might not be under the threat of going through the EXACT conversion therapy which involves basically torture and is legal in like 36/41 states IN AMERICA but then again, so arent those gay people who didnt/dont/wont be living/going to those 36/41 states IN AMERICA but have/are/will be tried to be “converted back to” straightness by their peers.Any way in which non straight people are forced/pressurized to be converted into straight by so called “professionals” and “medical experts” counts as conversion therapy to me bc at the end of the day it doesnt really matter WHAT word you define it as when those trying to “fix” non straight people’s non straightness view those non straight people as someone who needs “fixing”.

Also, saying that ace people’s experience when their peers were trying to “fix” their asexuality isnt AS bad as what gay people go through when their gayness is tried to be “fixed” is…not a good thing to say.Trauma isnt a competition.Telling a person with a sprained leg that another person has a fractured leg doesnt make the first person’s sprained leg hurt any less

Heres the long answer :

Here is the thing.The most “well known” conversion therapy(and in aphobes’ case,the conversion therapy they keep bringing up to discourage ace people from calling their trauma involving attempts to fix them “conversion therapy” ) is the one which is legal in 36 or 41(The data keeps differing from diff sources) states in AMERICA ONLY and basically involves showing homoerotic images and videos to gay/bi people and inflicting some sort of violence/harm on them when them and/or their mind and/or their body shows any sort of interest on such images till they form an aversion to same gender attraction and other forms of torture.I described it as PG rated as possible but if anyone is interested and is NOT at the risk of being triggered they can read the whole process here(x).

Aphobes keep arguing that since no clinic advertises that they will “convert ace people back to normalcy” ,and even IF some ace person IS forced to undergo treatment of HSDD ,their experience doesnt matches the EXACT amount of abuse and trauma gay people go through during conversion therapy, aces arent “allowed” to call their experiences “conversion therapy”.Now , anyone with common sense and general morality will realize how bullshit this is bc aphobes are just putting their american centric rhetorics over ALL aces in THIS WORLD(bc they are ALWAYS considering the american conversion therapy)but i’ll still just prove how WRONG this argument is :

1.This argument is only AMERICA CENTRIC.Aphobes keep saying that since ace people dont go through the exact conversion therapy which is legal in 36/41 states in america,they cant call it “conversion therapy”.Now america is only one country.There are 193 countries in this world.The “valid”Conversion therapy is only there in america.But HOMOPHOBIA is there in ALL countries of this world.Now, If we consider aphobes’ argument as legit, then it would imply that any gay person who suffered through the trauma and abuse of having their identity turned into “straight” by their peers in any country OTHER THAN AMERICA CANNOT call their experiences “Conversion therapy”.That means all the gay people who faced torture in russia (especially in Chechnya)to be “fixed” cannot call their experiences “conversion therapy”.Gay people in Brazil and Jamaica who are tried to be “fixed” cannot call their experiences conversion therapy.I live in south asia,we dont even HAVE any special places dedicated to “convert” gay people.But there are many instances where gay people are hauled to the nearest “religious medical practitioners” who abuse and torture them for WEEKS to “cure” them.I guess those gay people cant even call their experiences “conversion therapy”.THIS IS HOW RIDICULOUS APHOBES SOUND.

2.Not every ace conversion therapy is caused by going through the treatment of HSDD : There are many ace people who have been told that it was their asexuality ITSELF that was a disorder and went through abusive therapies to “cure” it which led to some people ending up self-isolating until they ended up in a psych hospital and some people felt broken and alone after that(x).Many health professionals simply pass off asexuality as some symptomatic of deeper mental health problem and thus not every ace who might have been tried to be “converted back to normalcy” might have been gone through quite a rough treatment too.

3.Telling people that their trauma isnt “”really that bad”” isnt a good thing.Telling them that their trauma dosent really “”qualify”” enough to be considered “”real”” conversion therapy isnt good.Oppression and traumas arent a competition.The abuse and torture gay people go through during conversion therapy isnt gonna make the trauma ace people go through “better” or less severe.Telling women that “at least they arent being human trafficked and beaten by their husbands everyday like in middle east” isnt gonna make them feel better when they are catcalled or sexually harassed at work.If ace people are tried to be “”fixed”” by being forced/pressurized undergo “” treatments”” by so called “professionals” and “medical experts” , it counts as conversion therapy to me bc at the end of the day, ace people’s orientation is still being seen as “something to be fixed into straightness”.

So yeah, ace people CAN call all the abuse they go through to be “fixed” of their asexuality “conversion therapy”.Now that we are done, here are a few examples of ace people talking about their fears and/or experiences about conversion therapy which i havent provided already

If you really want to respect lgbtqa people who have gone through conversion therapy,try to make this world a better place for lgbtqa people so that their identity isnt seen as something to be fixed.Telling group of people you are bigoted against that they cant call their experiences of tried to be fixed “conversion therapy” isnt gonna do SHIT to help the community you think you are trying to protect.Saying that No ace person has EVER went to conversion therapy bc there are “valid proofs” is disgusting.

Asexuality IS a highly marginalized orientation and all your refutes against it WILL be debunked and shot down bc we have sources and real people’s accounts on our sides which is supported by many prominent lgbtqa organizations across the world.All aphobes have is bigotry and a bunch of followers who eat up whatever they say without applying any critical thinking skills to it.

After months of hiatus and with the last update in December, I realized I couldn’t keep up with this blog any longer. This will be the very last but not as really farewall update from mun.

I want to thank you to everyone who’ve been supporting and following asdfengland for 5 years and 4 months!

If you are in this section now, I want to deeply appreciate ur time to read on my reason why I have stopped updating the blog.

1. Low Fandom reception: Ever since I started to run this ask blog, I slowly noticed the fandom itself isnt that great, because the majority of people only bias on only few numbers of ancient grade famous content creator instead of supporting newcomers. (which is why I did the callout post nearly 2 years ago) plus the tumblr system alr make things worse as the post get flushed away into deep ocean if nobody reblogs it.

2. Tumblr: *This part is actually irrelevant to my reason but I need to mention this. Beside the system, I never get to know how tumblr’s taste actually works. I never get much attention but only memes. I dont like my follower sees me as that one who definitely deep into aph shit and only create meme 24/7. If people changes, so do artists. People just don’t even give a chance to get more exposes unless I have reached certain of reputation to do it. 1 content explodes in tumblr doesn’t even mean that artist will become instant popular.(and then the crash of 17th december)

3. Hetalia is no longer my main fandom anymore: You heard it, you just dont notice it. Beside asdfengland and salty!America, I dont even want to draw the rest of the aph characters after Late 2016. Im also tired of stucking in aph for too long...way too long. I slowly feel dried out as the time passes. I dont want to force myself to keep going if I cant even keep it up.

4. Evolved memes: Either is hard to fit asdfengland into new forms of meme, or I dont have any idea to fit into the context.

5. Lack of interaction: yall.

In conclusion, this blog is *claps* *claps* officially dead. Perhaps if there’s a kicks in, I will just slip a meme in as usual and ofc I will keep share my relevant content to make people laugh.

The Blocklist: A essay (this is very long)

I know everyones sick of it at this point but I got shit to say so feel free to not read this absolute unit of a poorly written essay. The jjbablocklist divided their list into two different list now. One for creators and one for consumers/rebloggers and I cannot stress enough about how dumb that is since it shouldve been done since the beggining. Also, following alot of these artist and “consumers” of these medias, I noticed some of them are falsely accused, others while being minors. here’s why:

1. A lot of teens and young adults in the community like ships like GioMis, FuMis, NaraGio, MisTrish and plenty more and I know your singular shared braincell cannot handle the idea of 2-3 year age gaps not being pedophilia, but uh, newsflash for ya, THEY AINT. Legally, it is not a crime and that in america where the age of consent is 18, not in Italy where its 15 and not in Japan where its even less. Under the general United States Law, which is where I assume the list makers/defenders are mostly from, these ships are not classified as pedophilia or should be problematic and the ages of consent change to lower ages depending on state. The only way you can add these shippers for their “crimes” is if they promoted or created the interactions of these characters in a sexual or intimate manner whether they are aged up or not, which is still wack if their age is above that of the age of consent in writing/art and the fact that minors, in this case teenagers with the VA cast, are allowed to express themselves with people of their own age group in a sexual manner, real life kids do it all the time amongst themselves so why shouldnt people be able to create it, the whole ordeal is ridiculous imo BUT I can see how it makes a lot of people uncomfortable, a lot of it makes me uncomfortable too so we gotta make compromises somehow so absolutely no lewding the mafia lolis/ jojo lolis in general and if you do, tag it properly so it doesnt spread onto the basic hastags of characters and the show. If you dont you on the list.

2. Claim genderswapping/r63 is transphobic all you want but until I see clear and definitive proof of it being purposely made for that purpose then it’s absolutely ok. If someone makes it to offend someone then its wrong and they should be called out for it (which has never been the case in this fanbase as far as I cant tell) It’s creative, it allows people create new desings for characters or adjust current ones for cosplayers or other artist. Im sure one of your mods can relate, since the do the exact same thing as we do while not addressing a certaint character properly by their canon pronouns. Genderbending does not promote the attack or harrasement of the trans community and that is a fact unless its done by actual problematic artist like Sh*dbase and others, which is still a stretch because I dont think they’ve done it to target people or make fun of them but they are the popular problem icons. So get the actual transphobes on the list, aka those who created the content specifically to harras a specific person, or remove the catergory entirely. Its unnecessary and hypocritical.

— The rest of these are just things that bother a lot of people in the community so if you only cared about minors being on the list then you dont have to continue reading. —

Tumblr is infamously known to be a shitshow of a site where all you can find is problematic content. If you dont like this kind of content, why the hell are you here in the first place? There’s a lot of safer websites to use where like instagram, twitter, amino, facebook, and more. They have actual filters unlike tumblr and finding content you dont like is a lot harder unless you are purposefully looking for it, and even then it could be a challenge due to shadow bans or privatized accounts. Tumblr has none of that, everyone knows it, all of those who dont like it try to stay away from it or use it very scarcely. Why do you think that most of these “problematic” artist/creators/consumers are here? Tumblr has always been its own weird realm, trying to make it anything else goes against what it stand for.

You’re crimes make are literal nonsense sometimes because you include such obvious personal attacks like “Made a literal essay defending GioMis” and “All kinds of awful stuff” as crimes. You added a few account because they message you about how ridiculous the whole ordeal is and you take to findind the slightest bit of “evidence” that can aid you into making them look bad. You know thats not a good reason right?? Even if it were, yall are even more guilty for committing acts of Liable and Defamation and you are choosing to for those you incorrectly put on the list, invluding the minors! Let alone hypocrisy but yall are tired of hearing that one.

Dont add other fandoms into this mess. The Hetalia fandom has been dead for more than 5 years and it aint none of your buisness. It has nothing to do with Jojo. Unless you plan on making more blocklist for ALL fandoms then, goodluck, though make em better.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a wonderful and yet problematic series, guess who’s fault it is... its Araki’s. Created a hilarious nazi character, nah its the fanbases fault for roleplaying such a funny character. Pedophilia and rape represented in Jojo and not treated seriously, nah its the fandoms fault for romanticizing it. Homophobia as character traits and degradation of women in Jojo, pfft nah f a n d o m s f a u l t for painting such “false” representations of the characters. I despise the argument “well Jojo is a 17+ only show so no kids allowed!” you might be right, but has that really ever stopped kids from doing anything?? It does the opposite, it creates a sense of overwhelming curiosity which leads to venturing unkown territory which they may or may not end up enjoying. The problem lies wether young teens are mature enough to watch it or not and judging by this whole fiasco, alot of the people, teens and adults, involved are not.

I will give you this guys this, theres a few artist and creators that do belong there, very few as far as I could see and read into and some are missing since they are mostly on twitter instead of tumblr. But hey, I managed to find like 12 accounts that I probably wouldn’t like seeing the content of, and I found a lot of good accounts too. A hell of a lot more.

I know Im harsh and a total loser but y’all really gotta do some damage control and think ahead. Merely ignoring the fact that your movement cause a floodwave of hatred, deaththreats and suicide baiting is disgusting, adress it properly, dont condone it. Cuz Im yall wouldnt like 200+ messages of “Kill yourself you of lowlife degenerate. I dont like your the disgusting trash you like so I hope you rot in hell for the rest of your life” It isnt fun, a lot of people have received these, some are even worse and a lot dont even deserve it.

Run the list correctly, its a good idea, it could’ve been handled way better than this and you guys know it. This would’ve been great for 14 year old me not stumbling onto a lot of problematic ships when I first looked up Jojo and it can help many children in the community in the future, but you are ruiling out a majority of the fanbase with such vague and pointless rules as regular shipping and creative freedom. You are demonizing people who like basic shipping and different character desings, and that’ll scare them because they dont want tobe hated for something they like. Because a few biased opinions decided to rule out that what the kids liked is morally wrong and irredeemable. Cuz thats all I can see on the list with the exception of maybe a 12 people on the list. Thats all the rest of the JJBA community sees.

Glee season 4 episode 5 Will is an emotional manipulator!

Sooo first off Finn is having a pity party, he thinks working for Burt in the tire shop is somehow degrading? Even though if I remember correctly last season Burt was talking about letting him run the place. Finn also makes a joke about wanting to be crushed by a car in front of ARTIE of all people!

Oh look the graduates are back at the school again, that's not creepy at all. So glad Sue eventually points this out down the line!

Will and Emma are having a counseling session with Coach Beaste of all people? Will opens being the jack ass he is and starts talking about the arts being underfunded, Emma says she isn't disputing that and Will looks pissed off that she's even dared to have a difference of opinion. He doesn't even let her finish talking, before he ends her sentance for her saying their relationship with grow through this experience and it isn't just a oxne in a lifetime opportunity for him but for both of them, and that Emma is dismissing this. Emma says she feels Will assumes she is just going to drop everything and play the part of the dutiful 1950e housewife. While Emma is saying this, the same thing she said last time Will isnt even hiding the fact he is rolling his eyes ans isn't interested in what she had to say. Even though this is quite literally what he expected her to do the last time they discussed this.

Emma talks about how her life, her dreams are somehow secondary to his and he is STILL rolling eyes and scoffing at her every word.

Beaste makes some sport analogy, and compares the relationship to her and her ex, but that was a realationship with physical abuse which isn't the same thing. But she does tell them to take a step back

Emma opens her mouth to talk and Will cuts her off once again, and OH he's admitting he made a mistake when they first talked about it. No he's being the 'nice guy' again and asking her not to look sad and is declaring his love for her, "no matter where we go or what we do I want us to be together, this time its Washington, next time it's anywhere you want to go'. This isn't Will being 'nice' or admitting he was wrong, this is emotional manipulation and him trying to get what he wants because he just can't see past his own desires.

He then says 'im asking my partner ,my equal partner to join me? Will you consider it?" This is just more emotional manipulation and he makes sure there is an audience in Beaste, so it's real hard for Emma to say no, she says yes and you can see she isn't happy about it at all, but Will is to happy he got what he wanted to even notice. Thankfully Beaste HAS noticed! At least someone has!

Other notes:

Marley, sweet angel Marley tells Wade 'Unique' she's in the girls bathroom, but Wade says she sits when she pees and Marley is instantly 💯 % fine with with this. Wade says she ways to play Rizzo, ans drag isn't just an act to her, Marley again is 💯% on board with this. Unfortunately Sue is there 😑.

Hahahaha Sue can't find a bad name for Marley and resorts to 'absolutey stunning, kind, faced blue eyed girl".

Ok, so Sue calls Wade a boy and isn't on board with her playing Rizzo. But wasn't it Sue just last season that wanted Kurt to dress up like a woman for Nationals because Wade has dressing up like a woman? I feel this is a little out of character for Sue, and they just reverted back to her being prejudice so they could someone against Wade. I won't even go into the horrible rant about gender, being trans, being in drag etc that Sue launches into because it's horrible, out of character even for Sue and I'm willing to bet wouldn't be allowed to be said today.

Wade and Marley singing P!nk 😍😍 Marley's 'rock look' is amazing and I wish we had seen more of it.

Naww Ryder is lovely to Marley, who is immediately lovely to him. Ryder is also the second person (aside from Marley) who speaks of her mother with respect. Ryder also immediately doesn't give a crap about Kitty, unlike Jake who dated her regardless of how awful she was to Marley.

Jake only auditions for the musical with the very person who is making Marley's life hell because he can't stand the fact Marley could be into the actual nice guy Ryder. He uses the pretence that it's to stop Kitty killing Marley but he's really just creepy and possessive.

Also...WHY are the known bullies allowed in the musical at all?!! No wonder the Glee kids have issues! Their safe place is never safe for long because no one cares the bullies are there as long as the show is good.

Finn "I don't see what the big deal is, if Unique Identifies as a girl and dresses as a girl she should be allowed to play one on stage' yes Finn! Finally you're out of your pity party and making some sense, NOT Artie who scoffed at Wade playing Rizzo and scoffed at Marley being Sandy because she's brunette?? No Artie would prefer the known school bully to be rewarded with the lead over the lovely angel that is Marley.

Ooh no!!!! Finn used the R word to describe baby Robin!! Two steps forward MILES backwards! Sue maybe being an ass right now about casting Wade, but going after her baby girl was beyond uncalled for. Figgins should have kicked Finn out of the school for that, this is Sue's place of work, Finn just proved he shouldn't be influencing kids and he doesn't even belong there!

Where was Will during all this? Oh yeah just sat there not giving a shit because is to wrapped up in himself to notice whats going on with 'his' kids.

Now back to Emma, who's restored to freaking about germs because Will is stressing her out. Beaste tells her lying is the worst thing (besides violence) someone can do in a relationship and tells her she knows Emma doesn't want to go to Washington. No Coach, do you know what's worse than being forced into agreeing to something that you don't want to do? It's your partner emotionally manipulating you into agreeing and making you think you're in the wrong for ever disagreeing in the first place. But thankfully Beaste does tell her she should tell Will she doesn't want to go. But then takes a step backwards and tells Emma that Will loves her, and that Emma spent so much time trying to be Will's girls she's forgotten why Will fell for her. NO! Emma literally says she can't get in the ways of Will's dreamsmy because that's what Terri did, that's because Will never shuts up about how Terri treated him, which manipulates Emma into trying her hardest not to disagree with him. I'm so sick of people thinking Will is a 'nice guy' who just loves everyone. Poor Emma needed some real support here, not to be guilt tripped by Will and Beaste.

Side note: Tina is right when she said she was fine with Mike and her breaking up, but he could have given her a heads up and let her know he would be invading her space at school and helping with the school musical. No one cares about poor Tina! The most neglected character ever!

Marley and Ryder just want to dance, Jake and Kitty just want to be dickheads. Jake's creepy possession over Marley really gets going here, to the point he's stopping her dancing with Ryder and picking a fight with him. So starts Jake's decline into being an arsehole.

Yay Marley and Ryder got the leads, because they deserve it! They aren't dickheads!

Kitty is fat shaming Marley and her mum. No one! Not one member of the Glee club , Finn or any past students speak up for her at all!! This is the beginning of Marley's body issues!

Emma is freaking out cooking and is having basically a panic attacks, all because of Will!! But she finally says she doesnt want to go to Washington, he is NOT happy, but at least he's listening. Now??? Now he decides to listen to what she has to say? Oh and now he's the 'nice guy' again. Poor Emma, stuck with this arsehole.

Will actually thinks if he doesn't go to Washington the arts will fail in America?? Yeah full of yourself much?? Will also leaves Finn in charge of Glee club, the guy who shot himself with a gun, called Sue's baby the R word and is watching bullying happen before his very eyes and is doing NOTHING about it!!

Conclusions?

The graduates spend too much time at their old highschool!

The bullies are allowed to bully with no consequences, even rewarded. The victims have no safe haven because it's infiltrated by the bullies and as long as they can sing and dance no one care about what the bullying is doing to the good kids like Marley who will eventually become bulimic and no one notices.

Jake is becoming creepy and possessive.

Beaste has fallen for Will's 'nice guy' act.

Finn Hudson should have kicked out of the school the moment the called on of the teachers babies by the R word!

Sue is totally out of character, shes against Wade but late says it's for her protection and states how she had LGBT both boys and girls on the Cheerios.

Figgins is useless.

Tina is neglected!

Will Shuester basically abusive to Emma, it's emotional abuse. He doesn't care about her outside of what she can do for him. He doesn't even let her finish sentance, he tries to make decisions for her and emotional manipulates and guilt trips her into agreeing with him when she is clearly uncomfortable, resulting in an OCD Episode. He then acts like he's OK with not going to Washington, because he didn't winning this one and is being the 'nice guy' again.

endgame thoughts, not because i think i have anything valuable to say abt it, more just bc i want to get my initial unsullied opinions out before various overly nitpicky or overly praisy internet thinkpieces come around

okay so. first of all, i’m tired to death of the way folks talk about the mcu. like, it’s either a godly feat of everything and the most important thing ever or the literal devil incarnate and the source of all evil in this world. i am literally so fucking bored of both these perspectives and have zero time for either of them.

yes, the mcu is emblematic of a lot of problems in the current state of the film medium as a whole. yes, it is also a really cool feat of storytelling that a whole bunch of movies spanning a whole bunch of years could all come together and culminate in a big huge blowout finale. yes, it could have been far better, but yes, it also could have been far worse.

i wasn’t a fan of thor being a punchline in this film. like, the whole “lol thor fat” thing was like, really tired and not cool. and the fact that his genuine moments of expressing grief and the significant trauma he’s been through were played off for laughs more often than not bc “lol thor supposed to be big many man but he’s crying like a wimpyboy instread.” like, fucking please. it’s 2019 and other male characters were allowed to be shown crying and processing their trauma but thor’s??? not allowed for some reason??? anyway they did him dirty in this movie and i’m not super pleased abt that.

i didn’t like that they fridged natasha. i’m not a fan of scarjo so much these days, but i did like natasha. 2012 me adored her and was 100000% behind her as the Only Woman (despite being miffed that she was the Only Woman) and i really liked her character and redemption arc through the films that she appeared in. and like, i get the justification for fridging her. like i get that she was this assassin who killed a bunch of folks and in the end, not only wiped out the red in her ledger, but saved the whole damn universe in doing so. i get that. i’m just annoyed that they literally went and fridged the Only Woman to give the boys manpain before the third act.

speaking of the ladies.... the One Scene Where Women Get To Do Things. my god. the critical feminist part of my mind greatly resented the obvious lip service of that scene, and the fact that the ladies only got the one shining moment before we got back to the sausage fest. but lord, the lesbian part of my mind hella enjoyed it. like i was legit bouncing in my seat like YESSSS FUCK EM UP LADIES i was just completely stoked.

and my god. MY GOD CAN WE TALK ABOUT CAROL’S HAIRCUT AKA A GIFT TO THE LESBIANS. THIS MOVIE HAS MANY SINS BUT WE CAN ALL THANK IT FOR THAT HAIRCUT. (and again, feminist me is like, hey, dont focus on her appearance, focus on the important shit she did in singlehandedly turning the battle around for everyone, but lesbian lizard brain is hhhhhhhhhhhhh girl hot)

anyways. 2012 me was a month out of a major jaw surgery when i saw the first avengers, puffy faced, on heavy painkillers, and unable to eat any solid foods, and just generally weak and miserable. i dragged myself to the theatre and i smiled the whole way through that movie bc even though i was feeling super shitty, that 360 shot of the team made me so excited and happy. so happy that i watched and rewatched a bootleg download over what was probably the worst summer of my life, and it made me happy and gave me hope, dumb as that may sound.

i havent watched the first avengers movie in a long time, and i’m not sure if i’d feel the same way seeing it now. remembering how it felt then still makes me happy, but seeing that same 360 shot repeated in endgame didnt stoke much emotion. tumblr fandom took a lot of my avengers joy away. the drama and character hate and constant complaining and cringe culture bullshit exhausted me. and the recent turns of the mcu also contributed to that. a lot of things contributed to it, i guess. but i dont feel as happy as i once did. so a lot of this movie rang a little bit hollow, needless to say.

that being said, though, i did feel a little flicker of that joy. for all the movie’s and the franchise’s faults, of which there are many, i can say that the moment where all those portals opened up and the revived characters stepped though, i felt that happiness again. i legit almost cried when i saw shuri’s silhouette step out of that circle. that moment when the score came in with that booming version of the avengers theme, i was 2012 me again, just for a moment, and i think that’s worth something. to me, that’s worth something. so for all its sins, i thank the movie for that.

this is rly rambly and im tired so im just gonna say 2 more things. things i’m not personally super invested in, but other people are, and so i feel i need to have an opinion on em.

first is bucky. i fucking adore him, and i am kinda miffed that he got like, no interactions with steve. i know steve/peggy is the canon ship, i knew it was always endgame (heh) and that stucky is just a fandom thing. but god damn it, even if they were never gonna have their relationship go there (which tbh i literally never even came close to expecting to happen) it still feels a little bit unfair to have steve basically ignore probably the most important person in his life. like, i know he wanted to live his happy straight life with peggy, and passing on the shield and identity of captain america to sam is super important, and i loved that moment and would never begrudge him that bc i adore sam. i was just... really sad that bucky had to get kinda shafted for that. (literally all i was saying in the last half hour was “but where’s bucky? but what about bucky?” our boy deserved better.

second is tony. tony tony tony. i know folks have a lot of strong feelings about him, both ways. i know of folks who think he’s the scum of the earth for some dumb reason, and i personally know others who think the entire mcu should revolve around him, for equally dumb reasons. i’m more neutral. i think he’s a good character who made questionable decisions in the past. i feel for him and his struggles with PTSD. i respect him as a character in-universe and also for what he and RDJ accomplished. like, if he hadn’t hit it out of the park with that first movie like a fucking decade ago, none of this would have been possible, and i think that’s pretty damn cool, regardless of feelings on the monster juggernaut the mcu has turned into. basically, i know some folks are maliciously rejoicing at his death while complaining that he got a hero’s send-off when he is a Bad And Not Morally Pure Man, which is. boring. and other people (namely one who i know personally in my family) who are mad because he is an Angel and deserved the Best Happy Ending Because No Bad Things Are Allowed To Happen To This Perfect Boy. i’m not here for either opinion. i’m okay that he died (peter crying over him did get to me in a huge way, but i think tom holland just has a power that if he’s crying, i’m crying so idk). i think it’s cool that he got to save everyone and got a heroic and well deserved send off. this isnt a revolutionary opinion i just wanted to throw it out there bc im bored with the polarization.

and... yeah? i think that’s it? sorry, im really tired and this probs doesn’t make sense but i just felt like i had to get the initial reactions and feelings down before the thinkpieces get to me lmao.

oh, also nebula deserved better 2kforever i just love her a lot and want her to be happy and not suffer, kthxbye
