More Basim Rant: [spoilers]
I see a lot of "Basim became lost and crazy and a vessel to someone less sympathetic than him" but if we're being honest, he sat there and told Loki that he was scared to be alone and Loki turned around and, despite probably having to wait a while, picked up Hytham off the streets so that Basim didnt feel alone. He knew that Basim had made that little "try coming to me when I am more a Master of my craft" and he thought it not so wrong as to practically adopt the kid. He had a new son to be proud of and Basim wasnt lonely. Who's to say thay when Hytham pulled that "I'll finish him off" thing and failed, that Basim and Loki didnt have a full panic because their apprentice/son just got hurt. Not to mention that Basim/Loki also were helping him learn that even the Brotherhood can be a little dumb sometimes and that tradition isnt everything.
As far as AC Valhala goes, when talking about Ragnarok, it doesnt put Loki in too bad of a light. He's a dad doing everything he can for his son. Even going as far as to betray the one who hurt his son, Odin. And people go around and are like "But proper Norse Loki did this" and there isnt really a proper Norse Loki because the only texts we have of him were written by a christian and Loki was made out to be like the devil. Norse didnt write books, they told stories verbally. And it's like saying that "Loki" in Marvel is also a super evil bad guy because "Norse Loki" was. Three different worlds spun three different ways. That's part of the creative process. You can take mythology and put it into the world via your own interpretation to better fit your story or to not get called out on copyright laws. It makes the characters unique even if you already know them.

@frznkingdom sent: "...Dad?" Gale had been laying in bed for a lot longer than usual today, and looked very tired. "I-I don't feel well." In fact, seemed that she had a fever.
“What is it, sweetheart?” He asks, sitting on her bed and reaching to gently pet her head. She feels a bit too warm. That is concerning, so James’s mind already shuffle through his schedule to find more time for her today. It will be challenging, but doable.
“Are you aching?” He’s not sure if that’s the right question to ask, but he’s also not sure what to do with a sick child. Important information is how sick she is, so mostly he just hopes for her honesty and then he’ll decide on booking an appointment or just calling a doctor for an advice. “Tell me what’s wrong.”

Koko? So you're attached to him too? That's unexpected...but I'll keep that in mind.
-Izana
... why is that unexpected? He's been very kind to me. He's surprisingly a lot softer than I thought though I've been told that very uncommon.
I'm attached to all of you, though I expect that's what happens to captives after a little while. Stockholm syndrome. or maybe I'm just tired of hating you when it takes so much energy from me. I don't want to be your enemy. Far from it.
