Top 5 RWBY Episodes
Day 6 and we are looking at my favorite episodes of RWBY, I know that early on they tended to split things up into multi episode arcs but this is just looking at individual episodes. This also says nothing about seasons as a whole because at least one of my favorite seasons doesn't have a representative here as no individual episode stood out but everything as a whole was so good.
5. Heroes and Monsters - So much happens in this one episode, between losing my favorite villains (and second favorite for quite awhile) to the awesomeness of Velvet vs the Paladins and the disarming story of Blake, Yang and Adam part 1, oh yeah and Cinder gets the maiden powers. It's not the longest but I'm honestly not sure if any other episode really packs so much into it's run time.
4. Players and Pieces - This is really just 2 cool fights with 2 big monsters but everyone gets some time to shine and in many ways it's the real beginning of team RWBY.
3. Burning the Candle - the relationship episode, I like the contrast of the serious side of things with Blake and Yang that ends with a bit of flirtation vs the jokier Jaune seeking advice that ends with a more somber Pyrrha note. Also i'm a total Bumbleby fan so of course the biggest precursor to it is among my favorites.
2. Alone in the Woods - I mean the Apathy were my number one grimm, just damn this episode was so creepy yet in between the horror it started Ruby's silver eyes training, began the healing and trust for Yang and Blake, taught us about Maria.
Seeing Red - This is kind of Players and Pieces round 2 but it's just the climaxes of those fights. I think it earns it this spot because while it's certainly debatable as to if those fights are better than Monty's work early on a technical level they both pay off emotional elements to the story in a way that Player and Pieces didn't (though to be fair that early in there also wasn't as much to pay off on that side). But hey this is my list so for me I'm seeing no other option that red-ying this as my favorite episode.

THE HIDEBEHIND
Hiking in the woods along is never a good idea. Surely it’ll lead to your demise in some nasty form. We’ve all learn this lesson by now, but for the poor protagonist in this story, he learns the hard way by coming upon a creepy figure that should instantly have you hiding or moving the opposite direction.

What lurks under the cover of night, what hides in the shadows. You are completely alone in front of the unknown.
P.s. it could be spoiler for one of my projects.

Mr. Waistcoat, there's a rather heated discussion about this question on hellsites such as Twitter & Tiktok, and I thought your opinion might be a valuable contribution.
Would you rather stumble across a bear or a man when alone in the woods?
Wish you a lovely day (preferably not alone in the woods),
drumla
This is a very bizarre question that I can only put down to the likelihood that the majority of Twitter/Tiktok users don't regularly go walking alone in the woods, 'cause, uh, you do meet people (including men), pretty regularly. And it's fine. Maybe you say hi or give each other a nod as you pass, but basically no-one is actually lurking in the woods with sinister intent. When you meet someone, chances are they are also just taking a walk. It's not impossible the encounter might be unpleasant, I suppose, but it's a pretty tiny possibility.
A bear, on the other hand... Depending on the type of bear, that's an encounter that has a comparatively high chance of going sideways.
I suppose my view might be slightly skewed by being a British man - passing other people in the woods generally only requires a nod of acknowledgement, whereas in a lot of other cultures (especially much of the US) I suspect the expectation of being drawn into small talk is much higher, which might be awkward or irritating. But still, y'know, better than a bear.
But yeah, 99% of the time neither the woods, nor people walking within them, are dangerous or scary, and I think the folks debating this question should get off social media and take a woodland walk, cause walking alone in the woods rules actually!
