Charles and reader get a call from Herve's school that he punched a guy in the face. They rush there and find out Herve did it because the guy insulted his sister and Charles immediately shifts from disappointment to pride.

"Did you notice anything weird lately?", you asked Charles as he parked the car, "nope, he's been fine, he's never complained about anything, I'm not sure why he did this", he said, holding your hand once you were out of the car and walking into the school. After a quick chat with the secretary at the front to let the principal know you had arrived, you were welcomed to the office, Hervé sitting in one of the chairs.
"Thank you for coming", the principal said, shaking your and Charles' hand, "I think it's best if Hervé explains why I called you here", he said, sitting down as you did the same, facing your son.
"We were in the playground, and I noticed there was a group of boys being mean to Amélie - calling her those words you told us were mean and bad -, and they wouldn't budget no matter how many times she told them to go away", your son explained as you felt your own blood boil at someone talking down to your daughter. By the way your husband was closing his fists, you figured he was feeling the same.
"So", Hervé carried on, "I threw my pencil case at them", he shrugged, "I know I shouldn't have done that, and I'm sorry if I disappointed you, but I wasn't going to let them carry on!", he reasoned.
You looked at the principal, wondering whete he stood about the situation, "we called you because we have to report his behaviours to you", he explained.
"Both me and my wife appreciate you telling us, but the only issue here is that you're allowing this in your school. Sure, Hervé could've acted differently, but our daughter has to be able to feel safe while she is in school, so I'm not apologising for a scratch the other kid may have, and neither is Hervé. Also, where is Amélie? We'll be taking her home earlier today", Charles stated, "I'll ask her teacher to let her come down here, then, I believe she is in Art Club".
Once the four of you were on the way to the car, you kissed Amélie's cheek as you strapped her in, "I'm sorry they were mean to you, my love", you sadly smiled, "Hervé saved me from them, that's all that matters", she said sweetly, lacing her hand with her older brother's as Charles kissed your son's forehead, "you did what a good brother does. Could've been without resorting to this sort of thing, but I know you just wanted to protect your sister, buddy, and we couldn't be prouder of your for your intentions".

Just a fun drawing I had in mind about Alurna and Halbrand's dynamic 💕
⚠️Rings of Power Spoilers⚠️
Sauron never expected to see his wife when he arrived in Númenor. After the war and the defeat of Morgoth, the Dark Lord had to hide from the Valar and also from Elmyr (Who died in his arms on the battlefield anyway, but that's another story 🤫).
While in Númenor, Sauron (disguised as Halbrand) couldn't pass up the opportunity of seducing her, and get her to be with him again.
Elmyr (now known as Alruna), was in charge of taking an eye on Halbrand after he gets to prison. They both spent lots of time together. The Maia had to admit she enjoyed his presence and started developing romantic feelings towards him. She sometimes finds some resemblance between Halbrand and Mairon (especially his love for crafting and how talented they both are), which amused her.
Little did she know that the man she was falling in love with is her long lost husband 🫣
Please, note that Alruna and Halbrand's relationship is still under construction.
I will add more details about them later on, so stay tuned ✨️

Astra lore video of the 3 royal siblings when they're younger compared to present day ❤️ this took a while but I'm very proud of it, I also have rendered art of each one which i will post in the next few days :)
Bit of royal siblings lore summary below, not every single detail cuz gotta make it interesting yknow ✨️✨️✨️ suspense ✨️✨️✨️
King Orion, the prior king of the planet Solus, and Queen Nebula, his wife and also the ruler of Solus, had 3 kids together. Their oldest, Sirius (pictured last in the video), the middle child, Amun, (middle of the video), and their youngest, Nebula II/the 2nd, later known as Venus, which is the name I will use cuz clarification between them (first shown). Queen Nebula passed away during Venus's birth, leaving Orion to parent all three of them alone, which he did not do very well, meaning Venus was mostly raised by her brothers. This meant they grew very close as siblings, with especially Amun being a parental figure to Venus while Sirius had to focus on royal studies.
As Sirius grew up, he, as the eldest, had to prepare for when he would become king. This involved him going on missions to other planets to recruit them under Solus's empire, first to the planets Ophidia, Umbrose, and Scrow, and later to the planet Hadal. Along with Sirius, Amun would join the expedition to Hadal as a sort of rite of passage when he turned 25.
The expedition to Hadal ended horrifically. The planet was left in ruins, and Sirius was killed during the expedition (there's more to this but, summarizing). Amun survived, and came back to Solus. This would leave Amun as next in line for the throne, which eventually, with Orion's death, would come about, also leaving Venus and Amun as the current only living individuals of the Solion royal family. Amun and Venus continue to have a close bond, yet Venus cannot shake the feeling that Amun is hiding something from her, which slowly forms a rift between the two.
There is much more about Amun and Venus's interactions after Sirius's death, but perhaps I will go into that another time. Crazy!!!!

Hm ok not sure how to write this post but it's a fun thing and I've been wanting to gush about it for weeks. Uhhh
Achievement Unlocked: Finally found something that's pushed me closer to agnostic than atheist??
Basically, I was seeing an obnoxious, totally inexplicable amount of hawks and corvids in my area irl, especially whenever I was stressed. So I asked all my witchy friends about it (one was straight up born into a coven, it's fuckin sick 🤩) and they sent me some stuff those animals symbolize.
And then I asked about what deities/entities they're associated with. They sent me a short list, so I started looking into each one to see if I felt a strong pull to any of them. One of them was Apollo, the Greek God of [A Lot of Cool Shit]. Right away, I clicked with him. The god of truth, prophecy, healing, the arts. It's all stuff that matters a lot to me. I especially found it fascinating he's said to be a protector of the young, and I, a psych major, want to be a therapist of some sort (read: healer) specifically for teenagers. He's also Known for being incredibly bisexual, and even though I'm pan, my sexuality is still a huge part of me. And a lot of other things about him clicked with me too, both big things like my career goal and my identity, and small insignificant things like the fact that he's a Sun God and I'm a Fire Sign. There were way too many coincidences and connections I was making to myself while reading about him to just think nothing of it. Most damning of all, hawks and corvids are said to be his messengers. If that wasn't a "Hello Isa I've been trying to contact you about your car's extended warranty" moment, I don't know what is. So I said fuck it, I'm gonna give working with him the way my witchy friends work with their deities/entities a try.
It's been like three weeks now? And I haven't done much but I'm really happy about the concept of it all. I see hawks and crows a lot still, especially when I'm stressed or upset (One morning I was getting roadrage omw to school and I shit you not, I watched a hawk land on a street lamp and there was a crow sitting on the very next one. I couldn't help but laugh). I got myself a necklace with a crow on it because I don't really have a space to do formal practice type stuff. And last night I had my wife do a tarot reading for me, and the gist of it was "you have a budding relationship, it's a good thing and it'll help you, nurture it with all the creative freedom you like and be chill about it." Which is basically what I've already been doing.
But my favorite part of this wild ass development is that I realized while reading up on Apollo that my whole life I've thought of or spoke about something and then it either happened or something related to it would suddenly show up in my life right after. I don't believe in ✨️manifesting✨️ and holy shit I'm not calling myself psychic whatsoever, but this weird coincidence thing has been happening to me as long as I can remember and I've been noticing it even more after looking up Apollo, both irl and in my dreams. I think Apollo's dodgeball being my favorite Tumblr meme before this all happened to me is making a comedic amount of sense now.
I'm still pretty skeptical of most religious practices because I just. Am one of those people, I guess. And I had Catholicism shoved down my throat by my dad as a kid, AND I'm queer, so I have a Bad relationship with the concept of religion as it is. But this feels right, and it's fascinating to me, and the idea that these weird happenstances in my life could be a figure that represents several things that make up my core values and my identity trying to get my attention feels really touching. It feels like something wanted my attention so badly, and I've been happier since I gave it a chance.
TLDR: After consulting my witchy friends about some weird shit that keeps happening to me irl, I did some light research and figured out I feel a strong connection to the god Apollo. He represents a lot of things that matter to me and the concept has made me a lot happier recently. And I'm pretty sure he's given me minor dodgeball privileges. I'm finally invested in some form of religious practice, and best of all its one I kinda get to just make my own because it's not an organized one.
So if yall need a dodgeball thrown at something, maybe I got you. 👈🏻👀👈🏻

I needed a solid reference for the Fire Lord's attire and there was no better place to look for that than Ozai's character sheet in the Art of the Animated Series book, and oh my God look at that:

The Rings of Power | The Silmarillion OC
The appearance of my Maia Elmyr/Alruna during the first season of "The Rings of Power".
For a better understanding, please read this post first !
In this version, she is still the Maia of Tulkas and Nessa, as well as Mairon's wife.
I don't think her past will change most from her canon/Silmarillion version ??? At least, if I can keep it as close as possible, I will.
But I guess we will see when the other seasons will come out...
Nevertheless, Elmyr, known as Alruna will be first seen in Númenor and will accompany Galadriel and Halbrand on their quest to save Middle-Earth/The Southlands from Sauron's return.
Context and Lore (I have so far) :
In this series, Alruna's main task is to watch over Numenor.
This task was given by the Valar after they gifted this island to the Men, which is why she is living here.
She is also close to the Queen Regent Miriel.
If we take into account that this timeline is not the same as the original from The Silmarillion, in this version Elmyr is the Maia who teach to the Elves how to fight during the War against Morgoth. Which means, most of Galadriel's combat skills come from Alruna 💪🏻
During the First Age and the War against Morgoth, the physical form of Alruna died. She was then brought back to life by the Valar and sent to watch over Numenor (as already mentioned below).
Which explains her nickname: "The Great Protector of Numenor".
I'm still not sure of how she died during the First Age, I'm still working on it ✍️🏻
Of course, she hasn't recognized her husband when she met him again after centuries. (What will be the point of this series if she discovered it right away XD)
I will detail their relationship in another post, so you'll have to wait a bit, sorry 😅
I'm still working on her "Rings of Power" timeline (as well as her original storyline from The Silmarillion).
All these information might evolve in the future since I'm still writing her story ✍️🏻
