Hey yall, I have a question, is it wrong that I think animation (as a cultural, not as an art form or medium) is toxic? I ask this because of the way animation fans and small-scale animators/cartoonists such as Cellspex and Saberspark act. They loathe works that I think are masterpieces like Wish and Lightyear, yet love poorly written stuff like Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, and The Loud House SOLEY because of their technical achievements, as well as blind worshiping Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio within a nanosecond of its announcement based on what they heard of it. I think animation as a culture and community has become extremely toxic and hostile towards others as a result of years of disrespect for groups like the Academy to the point where they harass people who don’t share the same opinions as them. I’m not saying all people in the community are like this (hell, I’ve even seen some people who actually have a similar opinion on the matter) but I just need to know
MILE DID YOU THINK H— he totally thought Apo was going to introduce him to his family right then and there. What other reason is there for him to get worked up 🫠
Nothing will ever compare to the shock I felt while listening to the pirate king and they dropped the last name of a noble family that I used in my waterdeep character's backstory and I almost spat out my coffee
There's this character that we have in our story, Bite Your Tongue, that we are so excited about. I'm excited about all of them, but this one just got their entire character arc completely rewritten, and I love them, I hope y'all love them too
