There has been talk that Daniel left Renault to go to McLaren because of internal politics and a messy management dynamic in the team but no. The real reason Daniel left was because he understood that a driver-team principal dynamic filled to the brim with salacious, beautiful nosed, sad honey-amber eyed, olive skinned, authentic Mediterranean sexual tension that he shared with Cyril would simply have broken the space time continuum. Him sticking around with Cyril who obviously deeply loved him would have been too much. Which is why he had to uproot himself and sign up to be in that shitbox papaya with that ugly fraud Mak Frown. Daniel did that so the scales of the universe don't tip due to all that collective beauty being in one place.

Making myself work for something doesn’t always pan out, sometimes my will is simply Too Weak. I refuse to do the work and go straight for the reward. But when it works it works! It has to be a very specific task with a very unique reward…

My current self-imposed task and reward setup is if:

I do physical therapy stretches and/or get 10,000 steps in a day

Then I get to:

Open ONE (1) pack of Spider-Man cards before bed :)

Staying healthy and getting a little treat that I draw out over a couple weeks instead of blowing through in 30 minutes…brilliant.

#I am Not a trading card person in general. buying these gave me flashbacks to the Marik cards that came out in 2020 I think?#the odds on these are TERRIBLE so I’m not expecting anything valuable but it is fun. real life gacha…with best boy on the packaging…….#he could fix me (<- me talking about strengthening my muscles in exchange for the chance of Cool Screenshot With Shiny Effect)

I was at my peak when i would go to the local book store, browse through the books, read their backs and buy the one that appealed the most to me only to years later discover what significance they have for literature

#the boy in the striped pyjamas - how to kill a mockingbird - station eleven - and the mountains echoed #all of them bangers all of them (except the first one) picked up by teenage me from the book store and read in german #i mean ok obviously it's no coincidence they were selling best sellers obv i'm not big brain smart for picking them #but it was cool none the less to discover what significance those books had later on #after only picking them up bc the back side summary appealed to me. not knowing anything else about those titles #for instance station eleven gained prominense (again) in 2020/21 during the pandemic and i was like oh cool i read it idk 4 years ago #or when how to kill a mockingbird was being talked about bc (a) us (state) wanted to ban in as school lecture #when i was thinking oh i read this years ago i didnt know it was an important book in america #or when i liked and the mountains echoed so much that i got a thousand splendid suns & my german teacher told me she had liked the book #when i was thinking omg i read it as well and liked it!!!!#idk these were all things that made me feel really nice i look back at them fondly #nesi rants

Fun fact! When I picked Shinra as a Best Boi of 2020 with Midoriya as his counterpart, I did it with the thought that Shinra could sorta be a teacher to Midoriya and also a really good friend (that he only sees sometimes because dimension stuff or whatever), cause in my head Shinra is at LEAST 20 years old and Midoriya is 15 or 16. They fight well together the same as Midorya fights well with everyone.
