First of all, she's on the money; that's how much of a treasure she is. She's beautiful in such a distinct way you need very few lines to draw her. (Drawing by Einar Nerman) She managed to be mesmerizing in both silent and sound films. She kissed a woman in Queen Christina (and probably several more in real life). She was super dry and really funny in Ninotchka. She got the hell out of Hollywood and stayed out, living for almost 50 years after her retirement.

Garbo is one of the many reasons why I'm gay. If you haven't seen Queen Christina please do, She is so gender in that film. Also her accent makes it sound like she's always talking in cursive and it's so hypnotic (or at least I think so).

Before you realized what was happening, Chris Sturniolo had made his way into your heart and stayed there.

The few months after the Q&A video was posted, the two of you continued keeping in touch. You talked to Nick and Matt of course, but Chris was incredibly persistent on answering quickly and asking you questions about yourself. It was only a matter of time before the two of you finally got together.

It had been almost a year since that video, and eight of those eleven months you’d been with Chris. The two of you decided early on to keep your relationship a secret from the fans, but with each video you did with them, more edits of Chris looking at you the way he did nearly blew the secret.

You thought it was funny, how he couldn’t control the way his eyes scanned over you like you were the only thing on his mind. It wasn’t just Chris, though. Nick keeping the bit of you and Chris admitting to be each other’s celebrity crush and favorite triplet in the video didn’t help things, either.

Your new single had only been out for a few weeks, and every single interview consisted of the same question.

“Fans have been speculating that your new single, Rare, is actually a love song about Youtube star, Chris Sturniolo. Is this true?”

You’d laugh and shake your head, your chest aching and your heart pounding as you said the same thing over and over again.

“I think the interpretation of music is up to the listener. If the listener wants to believe this song is about Chris, that’s okay. If they want to believe it’s just a love song I wrote for fun, that’s fine too. I personally was inspired to write about the feeling you get around someone who’s important to you.”

The interviewer would then fake laugh along with you, and thankfully change the subject. You hated lying to your fans, and just lying in general, but it was nice to have something private. You wouldn’t mind going public, persé, but you’d need to talk about it first to make sure he was on the same page.

Chris had spent the majority of his time at your apartment when you were in LA, and any time he wasn’t there, you were at their house. One of those times was right now, Nick and Matt sitting next to you on the couch and watching a show you had absolutely no interest in. Chris had his head in your lap with his eyes facing the screen, your fingers carding through his hair absentmindedly as you pretended to pay attention.

Suddenly, Chris sat up and turned to face you, his hair sticking up in different directions and his eyes wide.

“We should go live.” He suggested, Matt and Nick glancing over from where they were sitting with furrowed eyebrows.

“Why?” Matt asked, reaching for the remote and pausing the show.

Chris shrugged his shoulders and pulled his phone out, glancing at you unamused and running a hand through his hair to fix it. “Why not? We aren’t doing anything anyway.” He said, tapping the Instagram icon and sliding over to go live. He propped his phone up on the Pepsi can on the coffee table and rested his head on his hand. Comments started pouring in almost immediately, many of them about the fact that you were on the couch next to him.

After a few moments of silence, Chris glanced over at the three of you with his eyebrows raised. “Are you guys just going to sit there like bumps on a log, or are you going to join me?” He said, your eyes rolling as you scooted more into frame, Nick and Matt grumbling as they stood up and followed suit. Nick sat on your other side while Matt sat on the other side of Chris, all four of you now looking at the comments flooding in.

Y/N WHO IS RARE ABOUT?????

You chuckled and shook your head. “Rare is a song I wrote about how it feels to be around someone who makes you love yourself.” You said, your answer vague as you noticed the way Chris’ fond eyes flickered to you on the screen for a split second before going back to scanning the comments.

Nick scoffed and looked at you. “How many times have you been asked that?” He asked. You shrugged your shoulders.

“About ten thousand, but I don’t mind. It’s sweet that people want to know. It’s a happy song, they just want to know why.” You said, Nick pursing his lips and humming noncommittally before looking back to the phone.

The live went on for what seemed like ages, the four of you replying to as many comments as possible, the rapid rate of which they were coming in made it near impossible to read. After a while, Matt pulled out his phone and started scrolling through Tiktok, his volume low and his eyes flickering between his phone and the live.

“We filmed our Wednesday vlog today, it’s one of my favorites so far.” Chris said. “No hints as to what it is, but I hope you guys like it.”

Matt snorted at whatever was playing on his phone, nudging Chris’ shoulder for him to look. He did, his eyebrows furrowed and his tongue between his teeth as he watched. You and Nick continued reading the comments, laughing and responding to a few before Chris guffawed and covered his mouth with his hand at whatever Matt was showing him.

He grabbed Matt’s phone out of his hand and held it in front of your face. “Babe, look at this!” He said, all four of you freezing in place as you registered Chris’ words. Before any of you could react, comments started flying in immediately, whether they were keyboard smashes or just consistently repeated ‘I KNEW IT’s.

“End the live.” Nick mumbled, all four of you reaching for the phone at the same time and knocking it off of the table.

“Shit!” Chris shouted, scrambling for his phone and desperately jamming his thumb onto the screen to end it. It was no use—his live had crashed, and his screen was frozen on the image of all four of you staring wide-eyed at the camera seconds after Chris’ slip up, comments still pouring in at an impressive rate, each comment blurred. In a last ditch effort to fix it, he turned off his phone and dropped it into his lap.

The four of you sat there in silence, the tension in the room thick enough to cut with a knife. You finally turned your head and met Chris’ eyes, his face frozen in a wince.

“Oops?”

The silence only lasted a few more seconds before you completely lost it, hysterical, raucous laughter bubbling out of you as you clutched your stomach. The three of them joined in soon after, the four of you near tears as the reality of what just happened set in.

“How did that even happen?! We were doing so well!” You said through your laugh, Chris shaking his head and wiping at his eyes.

“I don’t even know, it just came out.” He said, the four of you finally calming down enough to catch your breath. “I mean, at least we don’t have to hide it anymore.”

You pulled out your phone and opened Instagram.

“Well, there’s only one thing left to do.” You said, Chris leaning into your shoulder as he watched you create a post. “Help me pick one.” You said, scrolling through your photos before he tapped one. You had taken it ages ago, but it was still your favorite picture the two of you had taken together.

“What should the caption be?” You asked, Chris raising his eyebrows at you and scoffing.

“What do you think?”

You rolled your eyes and typed the lyrics out, making sure to tag Chris before posting the photo and locking your phone.

“And now we wait for the uproar.” You said, Chris chuckling and pressing a kiss to your temple. Nick groaned dramatically, catching both of your attention as he pushed himself off of the couch and headed towards the kitchen.

“Oh God, if you guys are going to be all mushy now, could you at least give a warning?” He said, though you could tell he was only teasing. Your phone screen kept lighting up, notifications pouring in from Instagram.

“Well, it’s out there now, I guess. You’re stuck with me.” You said, Chris rolling his eyes as he wrapped an arm around your waist and lightly leaned his weight onto you.

“Yeah, I guess I am.”

because at least when she started dating joe she actually left her exes alone (at least for a little while), she was like “I forget their names now.” and you can tell she was happy without having to make a big show of it- “nobody’s heard from me for months, I’m doing better than I ever was.”

Pile Two: You do know that you don’t have much to worry about, right? Throughout American history, we have seen the documented struggles of Black Americans. With each generation, the next would have one less thing to worry about. Your ancestors want to tell you that you are more privileged than you think you are. You tend to worry about things that are out of your control. I feel that a lot of you could have dealt with unexpected death a lot in the past couple of years, specifically dealing with the lungs/heart. Your ancestors could have a history of heart disease/lung disease. This could have been a family member that you drifted apart from & you feel guilty for it. But there’s nothing that you can do to change the past, my love! What you can do is take care of your physical body. Join the gym. Drink lemon water. Eat when you feel like it & don’t label any foods are ‘good’ or ‘bad’. I heard someone coughing; you should avoid smoking cigarettes & weed as well or really any substance intake. Eat bananas too! You can only control what goes on with I also feel that some of your ancestors could have been hypochondriacs, had OCD or suffered from religious delusions. I would considering talking to a therapist if you feel that you’re headed down that path. Make decisions that are beneficial to your freedom but remember to count your blessings.

Your ancestors don’t think that there is anything there for you anymore. Your family could have lived in this city for decades but it’s changed so much that you don’t even recognize it anymore. Some of you could be from the East Coast, specifically Philly or Baltimore. You need to get out before you talk yourself into circles again. Some of y’all could be in school about to finish up a degree; keep going. A grandmother spirit is so so so proud of you. Before you relocate, take some days off to visit so that you can see what this new city is like. Many of your ancestors were not able to make plans and go through with them because of unfortunate life situations. Teen/unexpected pregnancy, severe mental illness and/or murder could have been factors that prevented them from following their dreams. If teen pregnancy runs in the family, you should acknowledge this as a fear of yours so that you can make smart decisions in regard to sex rather than making costly choices. Also, practice safe sex with a partner that is equally as conscious as you. Your ancestors want you to know that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. You have bright ideas and you should share them with the world. Be confident in your spotlight. You deserve to take up space.

1. if you care about what other ppl think of you, ur wasting ur life

spending time worrying about what other ppl think when they look at you is sooo useless. you are creating imaginary and false ideas of urself thro others. you walk past a group of ppl and you immediately become voice insecurities to yourself. who even are those ppl? they are nothing compared to you. thinking that their “prettier” or “richer” or “smarter” is stupid asf bc all those are just society aspects that are false. there is no such thing as being prettier than blah blah blah. you are you just like she is she and he is he and they are they. we are all our own ppl so why waste time thinking ur less than in other ppl’s eyes? spend that time telling urself how valuable you are. realize that insecurities arent real. theres literally nothing wrong with you. you are perfect period. society may tell you that you arent but who tf are they? you wanna stick to a victim mindset or you wanna be accurate in knowing you are already perfect?

you cant spend all your life worrying about what others think of you. stop being goofy and know that the only opinion that matters is you. focus on the thing that rly matters: you. love urself bc ur the one that will never leave ur side.

recovery tips: dance in front of the mirror naked while listening to your favorite song. notice how perfect your body is. the thought that ur ugly is the same as the thought of your pretty. theres no difference right? so now you know how much of a waste of time it is to think you arent perfect.

think about how the ppl you think are thinking bad about you are a bunch of nobodies. do you think they care about those insecurities you think you have? no. so why would you care and stress about their useless opinions. notice how those thoughts are coming from you. those thoughts say that they are staring at you and that they think you look weird. thoughts arent real🤡. all this is an illusion. so enjoy the ride and dont get caught up in useless little things like thoughts and other random ppl. enjoy yourself bc you can.

2. dont waste your time on male validation

as a female in this society, we are expected to look up to men and please them…first of all.. look at what a beauty you are. you rly think a beautiful being like you would have to worry about pleasing others, especially men?? nahhh. never. remember that that little part of you that feels the need to impress men is just a result of this society. forget about it. the only one you need to impress is you.

recovery tips: know that you are a powerful limitless being. never accept impressing others. your so high up that ppl have to impress you. its never the opposite. listen to bad bitch edit audios. watch iconic 2000s movies. realize that you are the main character. why would a queen and a main character focus on impressing ppl that are already below her??… exactly.

3. be spontaneous and free

go out for a damn walk in the park or wherever. dont even worry about where your going. just walk. just enjoy the moment. get tf off the phone and take some fucking sun. for all my beautiful black angels, we all know that our afros grow towards the sun. you notice how when ppl start to get locs, they get thicker like a tree branch? while afros grow like a tree itself. we are nature. go out to the sun and let it bless your beautiful melanated skin and incredible afro hair. for everyone now: go have fun in the sun. humans are not meant to stay at home all day on they phone like stop being stupid and take a walk wherever.

dont worry and dont plan. just do and it will be exciting believe me.

4. love your beautiful black hair.

when i was little, i didnt know how to take care of my pretty type 4 hair bc my mom didnt have the same hair type as me. i would always look at the girls with straight hair or loose curls and wonder why i dont have that hair type. now im in love with my hair bc i learned to take care of it. the tight curls, the way i can put it in twists or cornrows or leave it in an afro. my hair is so versatile! theres no way i cant love it. idc if ppl call ur hair “difficult” or “too hard” or “ugly”… thats bc they will never know what its like having perfect hair like this. they could neva compare and thats a fact. it took me years to love my hair and i wish all little black babies grow up to know how perfect they hair is.

black barbie hair tips:

get a moisturizing shampoo and deep conditioner. i recommend companies like shea moisture, mielle organics, camille rose naturals, kinky-curly, and there are more just research and try which ever works for your hair

soak your hair in warm water and massage your scalp. use your shampoo and scrub with your finger tips not your finger nails (or else you can get cuts). shampoo 2-3 times.

put ur deep conditioner and when you detangle ur hair, use your fingers and detangle in small sections. do not use a small comb. use a wide tooth comb if you want. then, you can put ur hair in twists and put a cap on or steam it in the shower so that the deep conditioner moisturizes your hair.

rinse and use a moisturizing cream / leave in conditioner and put it on ur hair in sections and comb thro. do big or mini twists to lock in product.

when you have on an afro, do not pick your curls and pull it. this can cause breakage and split ends. when you have twists on, water your beautiful hair with water and some product in a spray bottle everyday / few times a week. think of your hair like a plant, you have to water and care for it.

when you take out your twist of any other protective styles, take your time to reduce breakage. and its better to detangle hair when it has conditioner in it. try using pre-shampoo when detangling dry hair.

spend time understanding your hair. thats how special it is. love it bc its raw black beauty.

everyones hair is different so what i do for my hair and the products i use will not always work you. research your hair porosity and hair types. a hair care journey starts off messy at times but the more it lasts, the easier it gets. you can start off hating your hair but you will soon realize how much of a perfect prize it is 💋

TSAMS/LAES character headcanons

Some headcanons I have :)

Sun:

•When Sun is stressed, he will plop on his bed and snuggle with his cats.

•At first, Sun was kinda jealous of Solar from how close he and Moon were, but then Solar told him that Moon still loved him, so they’re cool.

•Sun likes whenever he gets compliments, especially from Moon, since he doesn’t get them that often.

•He has read Warrior Cats. If not, I’m forcing it upon him to read all 100+ books.

•He will dress up his cats for Halloween and other special occasions/holidays.

Moon:

•He wears Solar’s shirt/sweatshirt after he died, and refuses to take it off until Solar’s back.

•He loved hanging with Solar, because he actually got Moon, and they probably made a playlist of songs they listened to, and moon still listens to it. Their favorite is ‘Bloom’ by ‘The Paper Kites’.

•Moon likes podcasts.

•Everytime he passes by one of his siblings, he gives a small: ‘Hi ___!’

Earth:

•Earth has a flower crown/flower garden and each flower is color coded to someone she cares about. (E.i.: Sun-Sunflower, Lunar-Light Blue orchid, etc.)

•Earth likes Journaling, but sometimes will draw in it. She has a lot of stickers, post it notes, coloring utensils and washi tape.

•Earth is an excellent braclet maker and braider.

•Sometimes when she is bored, so will read some of Lunar’s comic books.

Lunar:

•He probably has a secret small room/closet where he just paints on the walls. Only Gemini and maybe Earth knows about this.

•Like Eclipse, Solar and Frank, Lunar has a strong connection to Gemini.

•If Lunar had a pocket or a pair of overalls, he would carry Spigot around in it.

•Ever since he met Earth, he’s kinda been stuck to her, and sometimes when they first met he would hold on to her leg, forcing her to stay with him for a bit longer.

•Lunar is trying to learn how to braid.

Solar:

•(Going off of my first Eclipse headcanon) If/When Solar comes back, he will be able to talk to his original Sun and Moon.

•He probably had a hole is his shirt/sweatshirt, and after he died, moon stitched it up (messily) with a little orange heart.

•Solar likes podcasts.

•Solar is probably Bi.

•Solar watches over all his siblings, and sometimes will put a hand on their shoulder or hug them, which gives them chills.

•His theme song is ‘Can’t Help falling in Love’ by ‘Built by Titan’ BECAUSE IT IS SO AMAZING SONG GO LISTEN TO IT!! ⬇️

Ruin:

•Plays Baby shark 24/7 in his mind as a way to cope.

•Despite being trapped in his cell, Moon let him have a smol shark plushie.

Eclipse:

•I imagine that since he like ‘died’ died, that he can communicate with a spirit he’s connected to, so Solar Flare is his.

•He secretly does care about the others, as shown with him telling Moon: ‘You should grieve with your siblings’ ‘You should charge’ and the fact that he left Ruin alone after moon said please.

•Eclipse secretly does miss Solar, but mainly because he’s getting a bit tired of hearing everyone cry.

•He’s okay with being around Earth, but will only talk to her, and doesn’t really like it whenever she tries to put a hand on his back/shoulder.

Frank/Forkface:

•He likes the Kahoot song. It’s his theme song.

•We don’t know much about him, but I imagine he can also talk to spirits, and his is KC.

BloodMoon:

•He probabaly doodles a little signature of sign that knows it was him whenever he kills someone.

•He will sometimes play-fight his other half when bored.

•He may possibly have a smol Rotrick/tails plushie.

Gemini/Castor & Pollux:

•Pollux likes taking things from the lost and found, and this is how she found her iconic hair clips I draw her in.

•They are still a bit angry at Lunar, but really miss him and want to see him again.

•Castor and Pollux loved racing Lunar for fun.

•They like watching Bluey with Nebula.

•Sometimes they send fake notes to Lunar, or imagine Lunar is writing to them, kinda like Evan and Connor in ‘Dear Evan Hansen’.

•Pollux and Nebula are trying to learn how to braid hair.

KC/Solar Flare & others:

•Sometimes Sun, Moon, Earth, Solar and Lunar will have sleepovers and just sleep in one big pile like Mudwings.

•I imagine Nebula likes watching SmokeeBee, Blixemi and Bellasaurus on YT.

•Jack O’ Moon has a blue sqeaky dog bone that he likes to chew on. And possibly a collar.

•KC and Solar Flare help the new spirits that come to wherever they are. They also like eating Ice Cream.

•Everyone has plushies of each other, and when they have a bad dream about them they hug the plush of that person, kind of like they’re comforting them. Solars has been hugged A LOT lately.

•Whenever Lunar and Eclipse pass each other, they smirk and both say: ‘Idiot.’ Then keep walking, like it’s some kind of joke they do.

I love George's way of teaching his songs. Whereas Paul was shouting key changes and counts between phrases, and John doesn't even bother to give any of that information, George is just softly singing "E, to F sharp minor. E to A." Beautiful. John and Paul, take notes.

Wonder if I'll get through a day without calling Paul a whore. Probably not.

John being instantly self-effacing after suggesting that genius little let's enhancement. "My mind can blow those clouds away" is actually much more original and thought-provoking, but John just makes fun of himself. Like. Just own it. You're John fucking Lennon!

The George/Paul convo (George talking, Paul hardly flinching) is so painful actually. Because from the outside, Paul's avoidance looks so condescending and unfeeling, but avoidance feels much more like 'Shit fuck shit dodge the fight, go around, don't react, don't engage, don't start something' and i really feel for both of them.

The part where Paul is looking just so exhausted, and he's actually letting it show, and then he sees the camera on him and hurries and tries to do a cheeky little Beatles head-shake and smile. i think this is already a decently-known thing in the fandom, but can we PLEASE talk about the Yo Girl motif?? you ever wondered why the first time you watched the musical and that part started, you got chills down your spine? trust me, it’s not just because of how creepily heather, ram and kurt were standing and how dead their voices sound.

the instrumental part in the beginning has been played before a few times. All in moments of tension. currently the only one i can remember is back right before Shine a Light Reprise, when veronica gets anxious and pissed and accidentally tells everyone she killed Heather and the jocks. Coincidentally, Chandler shows up at this moment. So the musical subconsciously implanted into your brain that the motif+the ghosts means tension.

So Yo Girl starts. The start of the song already gets you on high alert. Martha is shown in a hospital bed. The ghosts’ voices get more exasperated. Veronica is now truly a heather. Suddenly, she’s back home and, oh god, her parents are talking about her depression and thoughts of suicide? Because of JD forging her handwriting on a Moby Dick book?

so much information thrown in within mere seconds, all while the tempo goes up. And the ghosts’ voices grow yet again, announcing JD’s coming.

Cue the most iconic part of the song, with “Veronica’s running on, running on fumes now”, shortly followed by JD finally arriving and having the most amazing bridge to Meant to be Yours, with one song being immediately followed by the other. The first time i watched, i barely realized they were two different songs.

Yo Girl is one of my favorite songs and it will forever give me the chills at how good it is at conveying the emotion Veronica was feeling: nervousness and the feeling of incoming dread.

-I feel like Miles would do like research on what you like and dislike, just so he could talk to you. Miles would freak out every time you did something adorable or hot.

-Now after the events of Into the spiderverse and he has become spider-man. As Spider-man, if there's any danger where you may be lingering, he might save you first. Miles's heart would break if you got injured. Miles would probably guilt-trip himself about your situation. -I feel like Miles would confess to you by texting you romantic music lyrics. If you liked him as well, Miles would freak out like, "W-wait? You like me too?! Uhm- Well I like you as well! So....does this mean we're dating now-? So uh date this friday or after school?"

-On the other hand, if you didn't feel the same way, Miles would play it off or be understanding like, "Oh I see....But can we still be friends tho?" Or "Oml, I just wanted to see if you knew the lyrics or not-". Either way he would be heart broken. (BUt let's not focus on the rejection part:))

-Dating Him- -I feel like he would be such a sweetheart but oh so shy. He's still young and he's got a lot to learn. He would be kind of awkward since you're his first relationship (and probably his last).

-Kisses with him are definitely quick at first, but he starts to kiss you on the lips more. But his favorite place to kiss you is probably your cheeks and forehead. He probably gives you quick pecks. I don't think Miles is all that comfortable with PDA, but he will hold your hand and give you pecks.

-If you're a civilian, he will definitely try to rescue you from any danger. If you also know his identity, expect to come through your window every night, with flowers in hand ofc. Ya'll would definitely do the iconic upside-down Spider kiss.

-But if you're also a spider-person, he would be ecstatic but also very worried. What if you get hurt badly? What if a villain kidnaps you? what if- Just reassure him that you'll be fine and give him a kiss. I mean- What's better than fighting a villain with partner who's also a spider?

-His friends would definitely know about you, whether you're a spider-person or not. Why? Cause he gushes so much about you. Gwen sometimes fake gags just because Miles is so lovestruck. Peter would tease him and say, "Ah...young love" with a proud grin. Pavatir would tease you two about being so in love with each other. Hobbie would tell them to cut it out and maybe give Miles some advice. And ganke already knows it:)

Rooftop dates are kind of common in your guy's relationship. After a long day of fighting crime, you and miles just wanna cuddle together on a rooftop and watch the stars. You guys would definitely have study dates and help each other out. You and Miles would make playlists for each other and listen to them together.

-If you're an artist as well, Miles would want your opinion in his artwork or his graffiti. Maybe do graffities together! Even if you can't do it, Miles can teach you! if you want to do it ofc. Miles would be respectful if you didn't want to show your art to him. But if you did show him your sketchbook, he would be complimenting you despite of your art style. Miles and you could give each other tips on how to make your art better.

-His parents would LOVE you, especially if you call them Mr or Mrs. Morales. (I swear- I was so shocked when gwen called them by their real names-). His mother would love you that you're making her son feel so loved. She would invite you sometimes for dinner and such. Miles is so glad that you're getting along with his mom. His dad definitely appreciates you that you and Miles are happy with each other.

-If you speak another language, he would definitely try and learn and maybe teach you some Spanish too. (If you aren't already familiar with the language and know how to speak it). His petnames for you would consist of some Spanish names like, Mi corazon,(My heart), Amor (love), Mi vida(My life) ,Mi alma (my soul), Mi amada (My beloved) and so on. real quick thing about blake roman and michael kovach since i know there’s a lot of discourse about it

michael kovach was angel dust at some point in time. by some point in time i mean literally four years ago. he’s now thriving in his other projects and he’s doing an amazing fucking job.

michael’s version of angel dust’s voice was amazing, as was it iconic. but believe it or not, angel dust was not made for michael kovach. michael just had his own interpretation of a pre-existing character.

and now we have blake roman, who also has HIS own interpretation of angel dust. he doesn’t sound exactly like michael kovach, and while he sounds SIMILAR, it doesn’t quite sound like an “impression” - i listen to blake roman’s songs on soundcloud frequently and he definitely has the ability to make that michael kovach-y sound, but he didn’t. he made his own version without straying too far from the pilot’s angel dust, and vivziepop has made it clear that blake’s version of AD really resonates with her.

am i saying blake roman is a better angel dust? no. am i saying that michael kovach is a better angel dust? no. i am saying that both of them have SIMILAR versions of angel dust, one that you might like more and might like less and might feel neutral about. there is no objective “better”, but please respect the decisions that vivziepop (and her team) made for her own show and own characters. no one knows more about her characters than vivziepop, and it all comes down to how she personally sees her own character.

plus, vivziepop stated in an interview that she felt professional singing talent was essential for the main cast, considering the difficulty level that some of the songs would have. not to say michael kovach isn’t insanely talented at voice acting and singing - but blake roman is very experienced in theater and singing and music all-around. plus, like i briefly touched on a moment ago, vivziepop felt a connection with blake’s version of angel dust.

neither blake roman nor michael kovach deserve to be shitted on or compared for the change. yes their voices are different, and yes they’re both great. same thing goes for Addict and Poison - both are great, and two great things can exist at the same time. sure, have your own opinions, but don’t put someone/something else down just because you like a different thing better.

once again, michael has moved on to other projects. we can focus on how fucking well he did on those, as well as appreciating his past work as angel dust - as long as we acknowledge that that work is over.

TL;DR - you can have RESPECTFUL opinions, but don’t shit on blake roman or michael kovach. both of their takes on angel dust are great. yes they are similar, but they are DIFFERENT. they can both exist as two separate, wonderful things. and at the end of the day, michael kovach has moved onto other big projects, while blake roman is entering his first. and, obviously, don’t fucking harass people. ever.

also, please just give blake roman a chance. he is so fucking talented and his performance thus far has been incredible.

My Universe - Jotaro x Reader

One of the perks of having your spouse be a famous global soloist, is having a kid with them and have said child be their number one fan if Jotaro wasn’t already.

Sure, he may not necessarily like all the discography you put out for your fans, but that’s normal for anyone. You did mostly pop with some R&B on the side, and he was more of a jazz man himself. But he did have his personal playlist of favorite tracks he’d listen to time to time on repeat.

But Jolyne was on a different level than he was- she adored you off-screen and on-screen. If you were at home or at least around her, she’d have a field trip being with her idol: She’d get her hands on every merchandise that’s yet to be released, listen to songs yet to be heard, and get special access to VIP areas only meant for artists.

How about the time spend with Jotaro?

Well, aside from musing your daughter with all the perks and love from a celebrity guardian, there were times you left Jolyne with her own bodyguard and babysitter, and used the free time to roam the city with your husband and do whatever they wanted to do.

Initially, your personal life was kept secret from the world, choosing to separate and not involve it with the life of stardom. And that was still the case back when you and Jotaro were still dating. You posted a lot on your social media, mostly pictures of your “selcas”, outfits-of-the-day, food items, behind-the-scenes special from your stages, nature shots, and pictures with fellow celebrity friends.

Once in a blue moon, your fans would blow up social media whenever you decided to be ballsy and post pictures of you with Jotaro, his face hidden thanks to his hat and mask. The content of the image was relatively tame and “neutral”, but given the context behind these pictures- the intimate proximity of the two, the matching color palette clothes, the rare posting of him in general- might as well made your fan base theorists.

“Boyfriend reveal when????”

“Bestie, please share the tea to the world”

“Hello? The couple fits?? The cute poses??? Call me delulu but-”

“All of you are being weirdos. Stop invading their privacy”

“Yeah the dude could be her cousin or brother or something”

“Girl they be dropping these lovey-dovey ass pics and still wonder why we’re this delusional”

“Uhm cousin?? Brother?? With those pictures? Weird but pop-off ig”

You’d receive many posts of similar flavor all over your timelines and you admitted to liking whenever your fans talk about the love of your life as if it’s a conspiracy theory and most of them coming from a supportive mindset. It irked Jotaro for a moment when said community managed to somehow track both his formal account used to document his research findings, and his private social media account where he posted pictures of scenery similar to yours.

But there were the rational handful who were able to veer them off his ass, dismissing their claims as false despite hitting the nail on the spot.

Eventually, once you shifted to a more flexible and lenient agency, you decided to reveal to the world that the popular music icon was engaged and to be married the next week all through a single image of your hand brandishing a ring on your ring finger with a bride emoji as its caption.

“GOOD MORNING???”

“MARRIAGE?!!”

“THEY IS GETTING MARRIED YALL”

“And yall called us crazy for saying they had a boyfriend all this time”

“We boutta get Papa Star amongst us”

The fans and the general public went wild and aside from the obsessive ones, most of your community sent their support.

Despite your relationship now public to everyone, Jotaro still wanted to keep himself mostly anonymous to the news. So whatever images were taken with him in it was blurred out with the default blur effect or an emoji sticker- a “star” one to be specific-covering his face whenever it was shared among fans.

The community erupted with loud awes and cheers when you announced to the world that you were going to have a baby girl in the family in one of your interviews.

“OMG???”

“Alright baby protectors, it’s our time to RISE”

“Much love to the little onee”

“I will defend this child with my life.”

“Shooters for baby girl where yall at?”

“Oh she bout to be the luckiest mfer with all the merch exclusives”

Years later, Jolyne grew up to be her parent’s number one fan, doing exactly what your fanbase had thought of when she’d grow older.

Going back to the present, you found yourself stuck knee-deep in your career doing a sold-out world tour, performing for thousands of cheering people in cities across the world. This wasn’t your first tour and you’ve found a decent routine to follow when doing so, but this year was a first for you.

You expressed both in social media posts and in interviews that burnout began to hit you full-time and a multitude of nagging negativity clouded your head as you kept up with all the schedules, production, and practice sessions for majority of the year. You’ve been so busy that time spent with your family this year was little to none. You constantly shared that hopefully sometime in the middle of promotions, you could return home to your family.

Jolyne felt it watching you through the screen. Jotaro felt it too.

All of them missed you and he wanted to do something about it for once.

By the time September came, your world tour came to a close with one last concert to be done in the Rose Bowl Stadium in California. Both him and Jolyne were never able to attend to any of your concerts due to work and school, but timing was in their favor for once and he made the most of the opportunity.

He got into contact with your manager, someone he became close acquaintances with, and notified of them coming over to watch your show. At first, Jotaro just wanted to be there with your daughter in tow, but the manager and a couple of the crew members in-charge of the set list had different plans.

He agreed to it.

With the VIP tickets secured and their booth ready for them, Jotaro and Jolyne flew across the States with eager anticipation and excitement, the latter mostly radiating off from the little girl.

Eventually, the day of the concert arrived and your daughter couldn’t contain herself from running about, unable to wait any longer for her to watch her other parent sing and dance live for the first time. During the day, rehearsals were done before the show proper and a handful of lucky fans were able to watch it.

Thanks to a streamer fan’s dedication and generosity, Jolyne was able to watch you walk about the stage in cozy casuals interacting with your community through a live stream in her phone. From time to time in the middle of preparing things needed for a concert, Jotaro would tune in as well, happy to see you even if it was from a live feed.

Hours later, he rented a car nearby and drove both of them to the beaming stadium, teemed with cheering crowds of fans falling in line either to enter the venue or to purchase on-site merchandise. On the lampposts and the walls were banners of you welcoming everyone to the event.

To avoid getting mobbed, both father and daughter kept themselves hidden from any passing person with a hat and mask as they walked across the area to the stadium’s entrance. To everyone else, they might as well be an ordinary dad-and-daughter duo who were also fans of their favorite artist.

Jotaro followed the instructions sent to him by your manager and headed off to a more discreet entrance where they didn’t have to worry about any lines or people complaining of why they get to enter first and not them. A guard stationed by waved them inside and led the family into their seats overlooking the brightly lit stage. Before the platform were thousands of light sticks waving in the dark, belonging to the fans singing to songs being played as they waited for you to start.

Beside him, Jolyne sang along with enthusiasm, shaking her own personalized light stick to the beat of the music. He would do the same in an alternate universe, but here it just wasn’t his thing.

After a few minutes, the music faded off into silence and the lights dimmed until the stage cast the whole venue in darkness. The crowds cheered and many miniature lights shook in the night. The speakers suddenly blared a remix of one of your title tracks and the jumbo screens flashed to show a VCR containing a mashup of you in a concept film, introducing your theme as a music artist to your audience.

Then as the dancers brought in the energy with their entrance, the stadium exploded with excited screams as you rose up from the below and walked to the front, passing by your back-up dancers until you stood in front of everyone. A second after you greeted the crowd, you switched demeanor and joined the others in choreography.

Jotaro couldn’t help but smile and clap by the time you finished your introductory performance, contrasted by his daughter’s loud screams. He watched wistfully at you speaking with the audience, sweating from all the dance and singing.

It truly was something different watching you live versus watching a live broadcast from home. You’re so near and yet so far from him.

And so far, the rest of the evening was spent like this with you; the beloved soloist performing many of their hit songs ranging from hard hitting beats with impressive dance routines to soothing ballads that had you simply sitting on a fancy stage prop all dolled-up to match the aesthetic of the songs.

Jolyne never pried her eyes away from her other parent, always focused on you and making sure she sung, danced, and responded to your every questions with the devotion of a true, hardcore fan.

By the time the concert was near its end, you were standing in front of the crowd in a cozy outfit akin to the aesthetics of a person living in a humble cabin in the woods. Supposedly, this segment was supposed to be for when you brought up a box of mixed Q&A and dares for you to do.

However, as you said that you were about to start with the bit, the screens beside you changed from showing an arcade-esque “Break Time with Y/N” to a simple “You have special guests watching you”.

Out of the blue, spotlights turned to Jotaro and Jolyne’s booth and there they were- clear as day on the jumbo screens. Everyone cheered yet again as their way of greeting their favorite artist’s family. And even as Jotaro froze on spot, tipping his hat over his eyes as he offered a small wave, his little girl beamed and waved her light stick at the camera.

“I’m here! Hello!”

Jotaro, from what he could see from under his hat, fixed his gaze on the other jumbo screen where it showed your reaction to the surprise- you were crouched on stage, one hand waving at your child, while the other covered your mouth as he saw tears well up in your eyes.

You didn’t expect them to be at your closing concert but seeing your family present was enough for you to break character and fixate on the loves of your life. “Ah really, you guys…”

In response to your happy tears, the crowd cried out a nearly-synchronized “don’t cry!” prompting you to let out a wet chuckle and sniffle.

It occurred to him that he could do something while the cameras were on them. He reached for his phone from his coat pockets and with a few taps, he showed the screen to everyone- a mobile digital message with the words scrolling across the black screen in neon yellow:

Congratulations on your successful world tour. We love you <3

“Ah! You’re gonna make me cry again!” You said, whining as you swiped your eyes free from the new batch of tears ready to fall. He chuckled back. “Everyone, that’s my husband and baby girl. I love them and the fact that they’re here makes me the happiest person right now.” The crowd cooed.

“Now that they’re here, I’m all the more charged up to perform for everyone!” You said and the stadium cheered in response. With one more long look at your family watching from their booth, you continued. “Hope you all enjoy the rest of this night as much as I am enjoying right now.”

With Jolyne’s suggestion via a whisper, Jotaro turned to his phone and changed the message one more time before the camera diverted away from them. This the message scrolled by in neon green saying:

Let’s celebrate! Let’s eat out later! Our daughter is starving.

Your fans expressed a mix of laughter and wholesome “aw’s”. In turn, you smiled and with both hands grasping your microphone, you replied back to them with a curt yet loving, “Of course. My treat.”
