I think the success of this movie encouraged its structure to be copied into the other MCU movies/shows. Strong setups, strong premises, weak middles, with a payoff that only serves as an ad for the next possible movie/show.
Captain America: The First Avenger is a 2011 American superhero film directed by Joe Johnston, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and stars Chris Evans alongside Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones, Neal McDonough, Derek Luke, and Stanley Tucci.

This wasn't a bad Cap version, this guy is a beast. 100% grit.
I think I said this here already, but it was this version that put me on Captain America. Then that led Marvel Ultimate Alliance, then 2011 happened.
Chris Evans' Cap is very similar to this one.
I actually compared him to this Cap a lot, THIS Cap/Civil War arc Cap were the standard for me to judge Chris' take.
He passed, obviously. CA: Winter Soldier changed everything for Cap on the mainstream.
The movie holds up too (Ultimate Avengers), back when Marvel was going through that Solo animated movie phase.
Just before The Next Avengers.
Recommended.

THE FIRST AVENGER 2011
Whatever happens tomorrow, you must promise me one thing. That you will stay who you are; not a perfect soldier, but a good man.

#Mira-Marathon | MCU
Hey! Hello everyone, I'm back with my marathon. I used to have a DC marathon, but I gave up on comics. But I'm back with a new marathon "Mira-Marathon" it will be the same as DC but in this marathon I won't limit myself to one thing.
The marathon decided to start with the MCU. I hope I will not abandon him.
Name: Captain America: The First Avenger (2011);
Production studios: Paramount Pictures, Marvel Entertainment, Marvel Studios;
Director by: Joe Johnston;
Screenwriters: Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely;
Starring: Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Dominic Cooper;
Genres: Science Fiction, Action;
Running Time: 2 hours 4 minutes;
"Captain America: The First Avenger" is an exciting film about Steve Rogers who becomes Captain America, with a vivid plot and spectacular scenes, but it may seem a bit long.
My rating: 7/10
