They call team dinner “family dinner”

Everyone is invited, past or present teammates

No fights at dinner, there are people in place to stop them

Bart usually cooks because

A. It only makes sense for speedsters to know how to cook with how much food they have to eat, and

B. There’s a rule that whoever cooks doesn’t have to clean and, even though modern day appliances are soooo sloooow, Bart will avoid cleaning at all costs (the rest of the team hates this rule)

They get in trouble after saving a city

Tim receives intel about an alien attack in Paris and comes up with a complex battle strategy on the flight there

It strikes Jason one day that, in another world, in another timeline, had he not died, he would have been the Robin of Young Justice. He would have had Tim’s ride or die friend group that never seemed to fail at making the kid smile.

He’s annoyed at how weirdly jealous he feels about that.

Jason has his own friends, ones that he loves and trusts and are basically his second family, but they’re all older than him. He met them later in life. It would have been nice to have close friends when he was a young hero. He’s jealous that Tim had friends to figure out how to be a hero with.

He can’t get the stupid thought out of his head for weeks, and it makes him snap at Tim more than once.

All of those feelings evaporated when he gets stuck on a mission with Impulse and Superboy and he realizes how god damn annoying they are.

He’s never been more grateful for the timing of his death.

This was just a random idea I had that I don’t think I’ll be able to develop enough for a full fic but I still wanted to share

one of the funniest aro traits i have is that i NEVER notice people i know being romantically into each other. they can be the most obviously pining couple in the world flirting ridiculously hard right in front of me and ill just be like wow, look at us three besties all just hanging out :) and then they'll be like btw we're dating now! and ill go WHAT???? oh that was romance??? Since the wildfire smoke has been hitting the east coast, I've been thinking about doing a flowchart-style infographic on where to find US hazard information - so many of the comments on the info I posted were like "huh. I was wondering why the sky looked so funny." With the state of the Internet, search engines, and social media today, it really isn't intuitive where you can go to find reliable information on something so vague as "I noticed something a lil funky today," and so many of the platforms and accounts that emergency managers have spent years building up trust and visibility for have disappeared or become unverifiable because of Twitter's meltdown. Best to go to straight to the source when you can, as long as you know where to start.

This would just focus on the federal government, and mainly on immediate warnings and alert information...I'd rather just focus on natural hazards as well since those are the resources I'm familiar with, but that might be too narrow. Any ideas for questions and flowpaths besides what I've sketched out so far are welcome!
