These two were such a struggle to draw. Mostly because they have as much personality as a bowl of porridge. They are the perfect cronies just for that reason. They are followers, led by Malfoy, that's their element. Normally, I'm all for everyone having their own way of doing things and being their own person, but with these two I don't believe it. When I had to dress them, I imagined they would just pick something out every morning with this being their only thought: 'It needs to be clothing.' ... That's it! Nothing more than that. And so, this came out of it. I am happy to now move on to different characters :)

Woodcarving is one of those things that will always make a character better. Like, no matter how terrible they are, if someone says they headcannon that they carve things for someone they care about, immediately I like them more. Like, I fucking hate Agravaine, but if you told me that he carved Morgana something as a gift, I would be like “he spent time making something for her.” And yeah. Tell me that Uther used to make wood carvings for Ygraine before she died? Fuck yeah man, headcannon accepted. Cenred would carve little trinkets for Morgause? Seems like something he would do! Morgause making gifts for Morgana? Hell yeah! Morgana making things for Mordred and Aithusa? So fucking cute. It just makes everyone so much more likable. I can even say for other fandoms! The only thing Gilderoy Lockhart know how to do is widdle? Alright then. Goyle carves little animals for his fellow slytherins? Sure, why not?

I have only watched 2 of the harry potter movies in full, and watched bits and pieces of the others. I've barely read the first book, but one of the only things I've taken from the series as a whole? Harry x Draco. I used to be really into Harry Potter, but now I'm fixated on Naruto.

But my cousin and I were having a discussion last night, about Draco trying to move past his cunty bitchy assholey attitude, and tries to be nice. He starts with Crabbe and Goyle, learning things they enjoy and have conversations about their hobbies, and he gets them gifts and takes them to do fun stuff and makes the first few steps to being an actual decent person.

His next moves go to Ron and Hermione. Two people who he was absolutely terrible to. He's nervous about approaching them, and uses the minimal knowledge he has and gets them presents. For Hermione, he gets her an exclusive book series that he knows she wouldn't have. For Ron, he gets him an assortment of snacks and treats. Both get the best apology he can muster at the time.

Sceptical of Draco's sudden gifts, Ron and Hermione try to figure out some information before seeking him out at quidditch training. They find Crabbe and Goyle chatting about Draco's progress, and question them. Crabbe and Goyle tell them about Draco's plans to become a better person and try and fix what horrible damage he's done. At the very least improve it. Hermione and Ron, with their new information then find Draco to further investigate.

When they find him, Draco is shocked to see them. He's very clearly nervous, almost panicking. "R-Ron. Hermione. I wasn't expecting to see you so soon," he stutters, needing to wipe the sweat on his hands forming from his nervousness. With some more interrogation, Draco gives his full apology, not expecting any form of forgiveness for how terrible he had been. Ron and Hermione decide to give him a chance after a few days, and Draco is more than honoured.

After a while, Draco, Hermione and Ron are basically the best of friends. They have sceret sleepovers and game nights and they go on their own little adventures when Harry is busy, stuff like that.

Harry finds out about it after a few months, and eventually Draco makes it up to Harry for being a dick and eventually - dating.
