i’m starting a new art challenge for myself: drawing OCs from my webcomic with other characters i think they’d be friends with!! this time it’s my son, Al’Kelson 💠 and Mark Grayson from Invincible 🌠 they’re both kind-hearted boys who want to help others 🥰

i had the idea for this challenge bouncing around my head, then a follower on my insta gave me a similar suggestion so i decided to stick with it 😁 i have a few more of these planned so i hope you’ll stay tuned!! 🙏

Welcome To This Insanity...

How to start this off, hm… This blog was initially used for a different Crossover AU - One I was planning to make into a comic, but that idea fell through, at least for now it has anyway.

As for why we're here, I found this tweet a few months ago, and I wanted to try it.

I wanted to make sure that I knew enough about the series off the top of my head that I could do it justice; Which left me with; • NARUTO • Harry Potter • RockmanEXE/Megaman Battle Network • Genshin Impact • Yu-Gi-Oh! • Sonic • Five Nights at Freddy's

Now we have our series, we need our characters, so I ended up putting 32 Characters on the wheels in total, Fourteen Yu-Gi-Oh! characters and eighteen Harry Potter characters.

Now, this is where the fun starts; how do you get a werewolf professor with self-esteem issues together with a reincarnation who doesn't care for magic or other people? Timeline and cannon absurdity, that's how.

Given that this is labelled an AU Crossover and not just a Crossover gives you an idea of how I needed to adjust character personalities to make this work in the slightest. I also had to greatly adjust the Wizarding World and Lore of Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Ancient Egypt otherwise, it would have fallen apart at the seams straight away. Needless to say, I got really, really invested. In fact, I have an entire timeline drawn out, a collection of 100+ polaroids I made with the aid of Pinterest, Character descriptions and backstories, and an array of Flash Fiction. Which will never see the light of day if I have anything to say about it I have two other detailed AU Blogs so updates may be sporadic at best. I hope you enjoy your stay in this blog of cannon loopholes and lore rewriting.

Danny is not the ghost king. In fact, he’s never going to be the ghost king.

However, that doesn’t stop him from getting summoned, which is stressful. First of all, he has school to deal with, second of all, he’s just a lil baby ghost so shouldn’t even be able to be summoned, and three, his new ghost-dad gets a… tiny bit upset. Not at him, but he can only talk him out of destroying a world thanks to some idiot-cults so many times before there’s the temptation to let him do so.

What if clockwork had HUGE beef with the flash family? They slow down time or travel back and forward in time and it just ruins all his hard work. At the beginning, it was ok but after five years? No, just no. Now the justice league has to summon Danny to make political connections, but after the summoning Danny is just gon smacked and asked flash to sign something, when asked why Danny just says "you and your entire family pissed off the controller of time and timelines. He isn't allowed to because ghost writer won't allow him, so he has been planning your lives after you die, he has a HUGE grudge with you guys, you're like celebrities". And flash? He has a new love for being alive and absolute terror for when he dies

Once again, we offer you last year's top five fan favorites (as voted in the end survey). In addition to that, we also offer five scenario prompts.

If you don't want to replace any prompt from the original list but still love the additional ones - or you simply want to challenge yourself - you can also mix them all together!

Standard Blog Rules & FAQ

No inc*st or p*dophilia - we can’t keep you from writing it or creating art for it but it won’t be reblogged. See further down for clarification.

No hate or ship bashing - we’re all different and we all love different things. As long as it doesn’t go against rule #1, it’s allowed.

Tag correctly! Trigger warnings (including cheating!), ships, ratings, (pure) smut, etc - it’s all fine as long as you tag it.

There’s absolutely no word count restriction, write as little or as much as you like.

In regards to art, anything goes: drawings, paintings, collages, mood boards, gifsets, videos, playlists… the sky’s the limit (though not really…)

While we can’t force you to write fluff or create fluffy art, please try to keep in mind that this is a fluff event 😉

You can start writing and/or arting as soon as you see this - but please refrain from posting before the respective day.

You can participate on as many days as you like, even if it’s just one; you can also create multiple entries for the same day.

You can replace prompts from the original list with either or all of our prompt extras; you can also mix them with the original prompts or create for them in addition to the 31 original prompts, that's completely up to you.

It’s okay to write one story/a series for all the prompts as long as it’s separated into chapters and the respective chapter/work is posted on the given day.

You do not have to stick to one ship or even one fandom - switch as often as you like to or even write for multiple ships for one day.

The ship does not have to be a romantic one! Friendship and family feels are more than welcome (but this is not a way to get around rule #1!)

This event can be combined with other events as long as the other event allows it.

Late entries are always welcome, even if it is months later.

All fandoms and ships are welcome - fanon and canon - as long as they’re of age (in case you want to add smut) and not related.

Since this has often been asked in previous years, please let us clarify the no inc*st or p*dophilia rule:

No inc*st: This rule does not apply to distant cousins and such, as you might find in the LotR fandom (or basically in all of European Monarchy). The line we draw is at direct blood relations (siblings, parents, kids) and/or legal guardianship.

No p*dophilia: This rule does not rule out fandoms that feature teenagers such as Harry Potter, Heartstoppers, Hunger Games, etc. It also doesn't mean you can't write about their time together as teenagers! It was mostly aimed at ships in which one is a minor and the other is not - but since even that got complicated over time, the rule is now this: if you keep it SFW, all is good and allowed, we don't care; if it turns NSFW, be mindful of the legalaties of the world/society/times your characters live in.

Friendless

After being pestered by Tim about not having any friends (Apparently: Bizarro, your brother's exes, family friends, your dad's friends/exes and your exes didn't count), Jason was determined to make a friend.

But it was extremely difficult since most of Gotham knew him as "Red Hood, the Crime lord" or "The reincarnation of Jason Todd" (Jason still didn't know how they came to the latter conclusion, idiots or geniuses?).

So he decided to look for someone who didn't know anything about Gotham or moved recently to the city but it was impossible to tell! Tired of his fruitless search, he ordered drinks at the new bar that opened recently.

And while he was drinking he met his first friend! (Or well, the first friend he had made on his own and without outside influences, fuck you Tim); Danny Nightingale was a strange boy, with a lot of resistance to alcohol and who had recently moved. Jason was 80% sure that he was a meta or another creature since he didn't show up in the photos.

But that didn't matter! It was time to show off to the family his new best friend! (And show them that he can make friends!) Not Steph, not Barbara, Danny. On the other hand, the halfa was quite confused but glad that the people of Gotham were so nice and friendly, Jason seemed like a nice person, and maybe it was time to widen his friendship circle beyond Sam & Tucker.
