Okay Okay so we've been assuming that all three quasar diamonds are required for the spell to free Rayla's parents + Kpp'Ar ("So do it, I need these: quasar diamonds. And you'll never guess where they are") but Just One would work, and the spell can

which is already a big point in favour of "The Relic Staff has a (corrupted) quasar diamond" in it, considering it did the exact opposite by putting souls in the coins (and possibly Harrow in the bird). And we know it's Highly Likely, thanks to the portrayal and colour palette, that Viren used a combination of star and dark magic to heal Soren

which also ties back into considerations that if Soren did get sick not just randomly but because of dark magic exposure (as if it was just his body, putting his soul back in wouldn't have necessarily worked) that maybe it was more so a corruption in his soul making him sick (a la Zubeia-esque) than just an ordinary sickness that Viren had to cure?
