Chapter 6: To Be Alone

You have grown to detest the Red Keep, King’s Landing, and yourself for being a coward, for allowing yourself to be kept here without struggle. You once found comfort in the Keep’s halls, seeing the Seven-Pointed Star constantly, but now, each you see the holy symbol, it mocks you. It reminds you how skewed your faith is. Every day you pray to the Seven, praying to hear from your family, for someone to come and take you away, but your prayers for onto deaf ears. You find it easier though, hoping that is, rather than trying to do something about it.

Since your conflict, some moons ago, Prince Aemond Targaryen has kept his distance. At first, it was difficult. He would not leave your room after your fight and kept you there with him as well. You would not talk to him and he would not let go of you. That is, until you asked about the letters. You were almost certain that he had read them, for he was too guileful not to. But he would not answer you. You pleaded, begged, promised to forgive him, but he would not. At dawn, as the two of you laid in bed awake, you thought he would finally divulge when you kissed him, trying to please him, but he did not. Instead, he pulled away after pressing his lips onto your forehead, and left the room wordlessly, finally leaving you alone.

After that, the one-eyed Prince did not seek you, nor did you him. He no longer frequented your quarters and its hallways, or so you assumed. Your chamber door was barred from the moment you returned from supper, and you forced yourself to read until your eyes were heavy and exhaustion overwhelmed you. Sometimes you wake from nightmares, expecting someone to be there, holding and comforting you, but you now always found yourself alone. Being alone no longer suited you as it once did.

Your anger at the one-eyed Prince transmuted into petulance, and you found yourself short-tempered and unpleasant to be around. While you remained courteous to the Targaryens and other court members from noble houses, you found yourself cruelly snapping at maids and servants for human error, and even found yourself irritable around the Helaena’s children at times, such as when Princess Jaehaera ripped her new dress whilst trying to play with her brothers. You could not even conceal your annoyance whenever you found members of court staring at you, especially Lord Larys Strong, who you caught watching you a few too many times.

This new bitter attitude was also spurned by the fact that your twenty-fifth name day was approaching in weeks and you felt stuck in time, left behind by those who were meant to love you. You were a lonely, resentful woman now, with no place to call home and no family to turn to. You considered to attempt finding a husband again, but the sickening memories of Jayse always came to mind, and you felt yourself deterred (Jayse Wylde had been taken out of the Keep’s Infirmary some time back, after making very slow recovery, and last you heard, he was still unconscious and brought back the Rain House, to be cared for by his family).

That is how you found yourself here, humbly beseeching Queen Alicent to grant you leave for Storm’s End, while drinking tea with her.

Having tea with the Queens was a regular occurrence for you, as they enjoyed your company. The Queens had tea everyday together, some peculiar concoction brewed by some Maestors, as it was supposed to support health and fertility, the latter which Queen Alicent had once joked was unnecessary. While walking through the Royal Gardens with the twins and Maelor earlier, you could not help but imagine how it would feel to walk through your homeland, famed for its tempestuous winds on even the warmest day. So, when you found yourself at tea with Queen Alicent, you could not stop yourself from speaking.

“My Queen. I am so grateful for your kindness and generosity, so please do not consider me ungrateful, but may I ask something?” Setting down her saucer whilst smiling, the Queen Mother took hold of your hands, her hold radiating warmth.

This was the moment you realised she knew. Of course, how could she not? She was the Queen Mother after all, and she is the one that held her children and the Kingdom together. You never doubted that the Keep’s walls had eyes and ears, yet you could not help but feel humiliation seep in.

Another unexpected development began as your name day approached.

After a particularly exhausting day, one which involved being cupbearer for a dull, hours-long meeting involving the imposition of trade levies (which the Prince, you avoided, attended as well, as the King’s confidant), you returned to your chambers to find a parcel by your bedside.

Perplexed, you opened the packaging, a paper slip slid out. Picking up, you see three words written in cursive. I am sorry. You immediately accepted this was from Prince Aemond, for who else could it be. Rolling your eyes, you crumble the paper and toss it aside, and pick up the object that was packaged. A beautiful gold detailed ring, one which complimented the necklace you stopped wearing long ago. The sight of the beautiful ring infuriated you, and you proceeded to shove it into the back of your wardrobe, where your gifted chain had laid for weeks as well, collecting dust. You considered that to be the end of that matter.

The gifts, however, did not stop. Most evenings, you started finding parcels laid out on the exact same spot on your bedside table. You wondered if it was the Prince who entered your chambers to leave them, or a servant at his behest. It did feel like a violation of your privacy, but then again, was it really? This place is as much yours as King’s Landing is, which is not at all.

You used to open the parcels, and found varying items, such as books, more jewelry, packaged sweets. None of these came with anymore notes though.

The last parcel you opened was a hand-carved wood piece of a dragon, which you both admired and loathed. You disliked this gift the most, for it reminded you of the wooden figures you used to play with during your childhood, and you wondered whether this was a mere coincidence, or if he knew this. Unlike the rest of your gifts which were sequestered to the back of your wardrobe or hidden corners of your room, the wooden dragon sat by your bedside, and before sleep, you would find yourself tracing its carvings. After this gift though, you stopped opening all new parcels completely, shoving them in your wardrobe immediately upon entering the room.

Before you knew, it was your name day, and you wished to disappear more than ever. It was the first day of the first moon of the 131 AC, a holy day for the followers of the Faith, so you found yourself unoccupied on the day. The Queens, Prince Daeron and the children were visiting family in Old Town, for the holy day, and you were left behind. While the Queen Helaena expressed that she and the children would sorely miss you, she did not want you to be spending your name day in service to others at a foreign place and asked for you to stay. The Prince Daeron, on the other hand, quipped that their cousins, Martyn and Lyonel, would fall in love with you immediately and not let you leave the city unwed. Though a jest, you could not help but suddenly wish you were going, and every Targaryen laughed when the Prince Aemond had elbowed the young Daeron in the stomach (that is, except for you).

Your nameday began as usual, with you setting out the dining table for breakfast. The spread was much smaller, as it now was only for the King and a Prince (you opted to have a quick meal at the Kitchens, avoiding the inevitably awkward affair). Afterwards, you spent the day roaming around the Keep’s grounds. You found yourself at the Library for the first time in a while, and decided to borrow a title, which after much perusing, ended up being a book about the War of the Conquest. Though you were familiar with the topic, this specific book you had never read and it appeared interesting.

Heading to the Gardens, your only sanctuary at the capitol, you decide to stay, particularly due to the pleasant breeze which wafted. The Gardens were empty, as most were at septs worshiping, or busy with other matters. You had gone for morning congregation after breakfast, so had no need for worship anymore.

Setting out a tapestry near a grand tree with beautiful amber leaves, you sit and read your new book for hours, until interrupted.

“My Lady.”

A familiar voice catches you off guard. Startled, you look up, to see the one-eyed Prince, dressed in his dragon-riding attire, appearing slightly flustered, as if he had just come back from riding. A slight charred scent attests to this.

“Your Grace,” you greet, as you stand up, bowing while keep your head down. You avoid his intense gaze.

“The weather is rather pleasant, and I find myself lacking company. May you join me for a stroll?”

Still keeping your stare down, you leer at the book in your hands. “I apologise, your Grace, but I was just about to leave.”

“Then let me escort you. Where are you off too?”

Your mind goes blank, for you were actually intending to stay at the Gardens until sunset, with no intention to leave. Comparatively, your chambers were suffocating and seemed as appealing as swine manure. Watching you remain silent, the Prince suddenly grinned brilliantly.

“Ah, I see. I am happy you can keep me company then.” He holds his arm out, which you lightly take hold off, sighing as you set your book onto the tapestry.

At first, the two of you walk in silence. You try to concentrate on the flowers currently in bloom, but struggle. The Prince’s warmth radiated, and you could not help yourself from flushing, something which he notices as he watches you.

“Happy nameday,” Prince Aemond says, starting conversation. You thank him politely, but still avoid his stare, keeping your eyes to the ground. This slightly irritates the Prince, who felt as if he had been practically begging you to look at him.

As you turn a corner, away from a Gardens, you feel yourself abruptly overturned, your back against a hidden blocked passageway. The stonewall felt cold against your back, your dress’s light fabric doing little to shield you. As you looked up at the roguish Prince, you do not feel frightened nor threatened, and this acknowledgment ironically vexed you.

You were finally looking at the Prince as he wished, but this time, it was he who was distracted. His fingers trace your bare décolleté, which most days, you opted to cover with a highline dress, but not today, as you were intending to spend the warm day out. His fingers burn against your skin, and your breathing becomes heavy. He keeps trailing his fingers around your chest area, satisfied with your reaction, and as if in search for something.

You remain silent and drop your gaze, ignoring his admission. The Prince stops suddenly, and tilts your chin up, but you stubbornly keep your eyes down. Consequently, you are now forced to stare at his mouth.

“I know that today is your day, so forgive me for being selfish. But please, just say something. Anything.”

“What is there to say?” Your words are harsh, and you feel guilty for a moment.

“You can say anything. Scold me, curse me, berate me, slander my name. I do not care. I just want to hear your voice again. Directed at me.”

“If I was to say what I would like, my head would be on a pike.”

“I doubt that very much.” The Prince smiles, still staring at you adoringly. Honestly, you did realise that you were exaggerating, but that did not mean that he would not ensure that someone else’s head would be on a pike because of you, so you say nothing.

You feel your left hand grasped, and the Prince traces your fingers.

“You do not like my gifts.” He speaks rhetorically, in a sudden saddened tone. Without meaning to, you look at him and are taken aback by his enchanting purple eye. This brings his smile back.

“I like them just fine.”

The Prince proceeds to caress your cheek.

“You can tell me the truth; I will not be offended.”

Inhaling, you answer.

“I did not ask for any of it.”

“No. This is your home, you are home.”

“No, it is not, you know it. My home is at Storm’s End, where I grew up, where my family lives.” The Prince shuts his eye, as if he did not hear, which only fuels your adamancy. “It is you that said ‘anything’, please.” You step forward to him, grasping hold of his hands now.

“My Prince, I have no need for things, no matter how beautiful or interesting. I am not lacking in any regard, except one.”

“No, I cannot. You cannot.” The Prince speaks disjointedly. You knew that you were testing precarious boundaries, but you could not stop yourself.

“You are the one who will not give me their letters or tell me its contents.” You say, cupping his cheeks. “Please, my Prince– Aemond. If you will not tell me their words, let me hear them myself. I miss them.” You press yourself against him, and his breath hitches.

“Anything?” You nod in response, nervous.

“Wed me.”

Your eyes burrow in confusion, and now you pull away, shaking your head and turning away from him. “That is ludicrous, absurd.” You feel arms wrap around you and his body presses you from behind, his mouth nearing your ear.

“Wed me. Have my children. Be with me until the end.” You shake your head, unbelieving of what is happening.

“There are only two things I will let have me. Death, and you.”

You shudder at his declaration, truly not believing what is happening. Turning around to face him, you finally respond.

“My Prince, Aemond. You know that we cannot. We are not the same, you are a Targaryen Prince. I am a nobody from a House most forget.” The blonde interrupts.

“I do not give a shit about Houses or the idle tongues of everyone else.” Grabbing hold of you face, he brings himself close. “Our children will be Targaryens, you will be a Targaryen.” He kisses you near your mouth gently. You only shake your head, frowning.

“Then why ask? You can do as you please, with no consequence. You can hold me prisoner, you can kill me, you can feed me to your Vaghar, with no repercussion from anyone. You can do anything you like to me, so why ask?”

“Because I want you to want me as I do.” He kisses you near your mouth again and you impulsively let out a quiet gasp.

“Tell me that you do. Tell me that you want me, that you are mine.”

You remember that awful night with Jayse, and how the Prince had asked you the same, and this rouses you to reality. You could not wed, for that would not be a life for you. You are nothing to each other now, and he already tries to possess you so adamantly. Anything more, and you might as well forfeit your life and freedom.

“I want to see my family.” You say stubbornly, which only serves to agitate the Prince, who groans in response, tugging harshly at his hair, turning his back to you. He remains deathly silent, not speaking a word. Only a cool breezes passes you both, and you bite your lower lip in anticipation.

“Fine.” The Prince practically mumbles, and for a moment, you believe that you misheard.

“What?” You say, your brows furrowed.

“I will not repeat myself.” Turning around, he takes a stride towards you, planting his hands on your waist firmly. “I will come with you, and perhaps Helaena and the children, if they wish it.” You feel even more confused, your crossed brows evidencing this. You attempt to protest, only to be hushed.

“Either you travel to the stormlands with me, with us, or not at all.” He says adamantly, his violet eye already plotting with schemes.

Whispering, you ask. “Why?”

“That does not concern you.” Beaten on the matter, for your desperation to see your parents and siblings triumphs all else, you accept, and the Prince embraces you in satisfaction.

Author’s Note: Keeping with canon, our war criminal is obsessed with an older woman (though not much, if I haven’t messed up counting, he should be twenty-one at this point). As always, I hope you enjoyed!

Mega Con London BTS Recap

Since this is a more personal recap of MegaCon London (and a bit of a comparison with Back to the Musical World con by Dream It), I didn't include it in the JATP info dump from yesterday.

BTTMW backstory

Let's do some backstory first. As you may know, the official JATP cancellation was announced at the first Back to the Musical World con back in 2021. I wasn't there for multiple reasons including Covid but also I just got into the fandom and it felt weird. I'm socially awkward - I cannot look into people's eyes, I stutter - especially when talking English - or ramble and I struggle to just touch strangers which is not helpful for photo ops.

So what I was supposed to do there? These people are actors - strangers I have nothing to do with. They aren't the characters I've fallen in love with. Yeah, not my thing, I thought.

However, when the BTTMW2 got announced, I was like 'You know, let's go to just show the cast how much you loved the show'. It was supposed to give me some closure. So I went.

And while the con was a fucked-up disaster in terms of organization and schedule - on Sunday, Charlie signed autographs until 10 pm, and Owen would have done the same if his mom hadn't cut off his line. (On that note: Never mess with a German mom protecting her kid. You'll lose.) But meeting the cast was an entirely different experience. I'd never interacted with them before, so I was anxious as fuck. However, they were so nice and considerate - and seeing them goof around was just adorable.

And not just the cast. I met so many amazing people there who are now my friends. Big shoutout to them!

So, despite my hatred for Dream It, I went to BTTMW4 (and thankfully it was less chaotic than BTTMW2). But I was also determined to go to MegaCon bc I knew Jeremy wouldn't come back to Paris. (Unlike the other JATP cast members, he's done plenty of other cons before and knows that you shouldn't be so drained that require alcohol to make it through the day.)

BTTMW vs MegaCon London

So, just in general: MegaCon was clearly the better experience.

Firstly, it was cheaper than DI. Much cheaper.

(Note 1: The * prices are from 2022 since Jeremy wasn't at BTTMW4. In 2023, the photo with Madi, Owen & Charlie was already €180. All four would have been over €200 for sure.

Note 2: The prices for MegaCon were originally in £. The price in € is what I paid according to my credit card.

Note 3: Even though not 100% accurate: € = $)

Obviously, Charlie canceled later. But I automatically got a refund. So bonus for MegaCon.

Unlike with Dream It, you were allowed to film and take pictures everywhere, which was cool. And since the panels were exclusively in English, you actually got way more content. The panels were also much longer, and it seemed like the cast was more at ease. For example, Owen started to play body drums on stage, and he initiated the boomshakalaka without being drunk. This is such an incredibly sad thing to say, but I've never seen him that relaxed during a panel.

Also, shoutout to the many fans that were at the Saturday panel. According to the hist, it was the largest crowd they had on Saturday. (If MegaCon had been smarter and had announced the Sunday panel before the people got their passes, it would have had a huge audience, too.)

The autographs ran smoothly, and there was always a queue, which was good bc Own confirmed that it was Jeremy who convinced MegaCon to invite him and Charlie. (Madi got invited later - I assume after people haunted them on IG about her.) MegaCon was wary about it bc they had no idea if the cast was worth the money. I hope the audience on Saturday, the lines for the autographs, and the massive delays at the photo studio caused by the JATP fans (and technical issues) convinced them.

Side note: After Charlie canceled, I got an email from MegaCon. And obviously, I know they just used some phrases to placate us. But I still hope they meant it when they wrote,

MegaCon, you won't read this. But if you get them again, I'll be there!

(And again shoutout to the amazing people I met in London. To my fellow German tumblr friends: I loved meeting you guys and hanging out with you!)

So the only thing that wasn't great were the photo ops. Yeah, most of the Saturday photos are terrible bc of the fucked-up lighting, and due to technical issues, there were so many delays. (Though to be fair, BTTMW also had issues with photo ops.)

So overall, I genuinely enjoyed MegaCon, and I'm very excited to head off to Dublin on Saturday to give Jeremy the birthday card. To all the people who signed it: THANK YOU!

Some other random things that don't fit anywhere

Not Owen assuming that Deutsche Bahn must always be on time bc Germans are always on time. Bro, I know it's been a while since you visited Germany ... but please, that was mean.

When I gave him ghostie!Willie, Owen told me how much his family loves the little ghosties 🥹🥹🥹 (which explains why his dad was in my IG stories after he posted the pic of the ghosties.)

It's random, but this con was so much more balanced in terms of fans. I remember fans being kinda uninterested in Jeremy at the BTTMW - some fans even got angry at him bc he refused certain poses. At MegaCon, the interest was equally split between those three, and it made me happy.

Here's the lovely ghost merch I bought at MegaCon. Obviously, the pride ghost and the skateboard ghost are Willex, the couple is Juke, and the ghosts with the kitty and the one with the pumpkin are both Reggie! (I talked to the guys running the stalls, and they were so baffled about all the JATP fans - a few Fantoms came over from the US and Canada just for this con.)

i get the whole ignoring tkkrs to be at peace but i hope ppl won't stop calling them out for their mistranslations, misinformation, misleading things cause it's been yrs and there are still so many lies and theories that are harmful has came from them and yet the whole fandom uses it without asking for the credibility of it.

The whole "jk hates jm" has came from tkkrs only and now is widely spread in the whole fandom, the "jm sleeps with bangppd and bangppd wants to push jkk to hide tkk" narrative is their #1 theory that they still use and the whole kpop uses that bangpd and jm shit to drags jm. The jikook does fanservice narrative has came from them which everyone easily associates with jkk cause that's what they have been told by the majority of the fandom which is tkkrs.

It's been two yrs and they still say the atomix ot7 dinner was tk date when there's proof of ppl who work at atomix saying it was ot7 dinner after their white house speech. You ask them once to show where did jungkook booked the restaurant and they'll go silent cause they just made that up cause jungkook is always the sugar daddy of every ship and others the sugar baby. There's not a single receipt or proof to say jk booked it but they made a whole au out of it Cause miss mina aka @/dionysustkk and tkklives lives say so.

It's been 6 yrs and they still use tkklives rainbow SS saying gcft was a vminkook trip when the only thing my guy jm did was told both JK and TH that he wants to visit japan. For yrs both jk nd jm has talked about the Tokyo trip nd not even a single time they said it was supposed to a vminkook trip or tae was supposed to be with them. Yrs later in their book which was published THIS yr of 2023 and never in that book there's a mention of tae and Tokyo trip together and mind you the book has been gone by checking through each nd every member so all that said in the book has been approved by all the members.

I have been here for like 4 yrs nd every single time i find a tk moment 95% of them are turned out to be false nd made by tkkrs. They love cropping memebrs out of pictures to make it seem like only tk went somewhere out but you ask someone else nd you'll find other members right there but were just cut out by tkkrs. It's so hard to find a tkkr who doesn't hate jkk, jm nd call don't call them fanservice.

Even now if you go to any of the sns nd see comments under any of the jkk video you'll see atleast one comment saying "jk was forced to join with jm, he wanted to go with tae but couldn't because of his tattoes and jk doens't even have jm's no, jk said they're coworkers" cause just three days back i was watching a jkk video on yt nd out of habit i was scrolling through cmnts nd this was the first comment under the pinned comment.

Whenever someone enters the fandom they get corrupted by tkklives channel with her 500k subscribers where all she does is manipulate shit cause ever since she made that channel 3 days after gcft nd gave them the "Tokyo trip was supposed to be vminkook" she's their mother savior who fills all their DeLuSiOnAls and she just knows how to do it.

Ppl starts hating on jm just over a ship and no matter how many times y'all say "jkkrs nd tkkrs are same" they will never be cause there's a big difference in the number of deranged ppl in jkk nd tk fandom. Yes i agree there's ppl in jkk fandom that are just as deranged as tkkrs but again the difference in number is like earth nd sky. Jkk fandom is not even half in no of tkkrs even lizkook shippers are more worldwide than jkkrs. Jkkrs deluled themselves in their own Little bubble with some 100 people but when a tkkr make a delulu tweet they deluled themselves along of some 10k other tkkrs and that is the number of difference in deranged ppl in both ships. No other shipper has harassed so many brands that work with BTS who has to put Stories about calling out tkkrs, no other shippers got blocked by polyc (their tatto artist especially jk's) nd got put on story, no other shippers has harassed other models or ppl calling them cosplayers cause they couldn't handle to see their fav holding hands with a woman in another country to the point the person has to put Stories after Stories to ask ppl to stop. No other fandom has got made fun of the way Kpopies made fun of hmlvrart and embarrassed armys. No matter how many times y'all say both are same they're not.

Tokyo Revengers Oc’s (repost)

Misa Takahashi

She’s half black (Jamaican) on her mother’s side and Asian on her father’s, her father left when she’s was about 2-3 and her mother remarried but she and her brother never liked him. She use to get bullied for her need like tendencies and the fact she looked different which lead her to be a crybaby, until she met Rina. And soon the rest of the Toman guys, she watched them fight and Gou and her older cousin Trevor taught her to fight. She soon snapped when the boys that bullied her targeted her again and beat the shit outta if the main one, from then on she was told never to cry again by Baji and Kazutora. She is apart of Toman and is considered a founding member alongside her best friend but she wasnt able to join at the time but was considered the “little sister” of the group by Draken. She is in a specialized division made up of only two people called “The Toman Divas” the only female centered devision in Toman, and their fight styles are not to be underestimated. She is quite smart for her age thus she got bumped up a grade in school but that never mattered to her step dad who praised her brother more for being a prodigy.

Misa is the vice captain in the two woman devision and in a romantic relationship with Keisuke Baji. Her fighting style is inspired by “Black Widow” her favorite marvel comic character.She is the twin sister of Tetta Kisaki (or Kisaki Tetta). Whether or not she’s the older or younger twin is a mystery to many. Not many people believed that Kisaki is her twin brother since they look nothing alike and because she has a different last name than him. “Takahashi” is her mother’s maiden name upon moving to japan but when it’s revealed by Kisaki that Misa is his sister many Toman members were fairly shocked. She also has a very complicated dating life (based on recent posts)

But is she on Kisaki’s side since she’s his sister?

Rina (Rinnah) Matsuoka

She’s 15 and born on November 18th and stands about 5’5 1/2, her family moved to japan when her mom remarried. But don’t let her girly girl looks fool you, she’s one kick ass tomboy founding member of Toman and Misa’s best friend. She is the “Toman Divas” devision captain and she has a knack for putting other members in their places when they act insubordinate. She’s taken self defense classes since she was a child and she then was able to pair it with Misa as the fight together.

In her first appearance she looks rather masc than feminine since she doesn’t wear makeup to meetings. Her and Misa are the only two women devision in Toman and they are unstoppable together. Rina knows when and where to keep it classy and when to fight, other than that she’s an absolute tease (especially to Misa) and is always thinking about cute boys. One of which is Chifuyu who so happens to have a crush on her.

Gouske Matsuoka (Gou)

He’s about 28 in the year 2005 when the events take place, he’s Rina’s older brother and worked at S.S Motors with his best friend Shinichiro Sano. He was almost recruited to join Black Dragon under Shinichiro and was supposed to be third commander with Takeomi but placed as a leader of an other special attack unit since his fighting skills were more so unbeatable but declined his offer and rather focus on easier tasks while he was still attending school, besides he promised his late father to only protect his family with his strength. Eventually he caved and joined for a short while and he was the best fighter there was according to Shinichiro. He is very well educated on all the gangs in Japan and often informs newbies on them. After Shinichiro passed he decided to continue college and joined a swim team. He looks out for the Sano’s here and there and looks out for Misa.

When the Tenjiku battle comes he returns to Tokyo just to find out his sister and best friend have went missing and went to hell and back just to save them. He was called the “Black Panther” of Black Dragon because his fighting style was almost animalistic.

Ericka Mashima-Bryant

Born February 19th 1978, standing about 5’6 and considered to be the eldest member of Tenjiku but her title is the “Fiery Tactician” due to her wisdom on fighting styles and techniques. She‘a mainly known as “Roppongi’s Siren” because her looks and beautiful yet hypnotic voice lured men in before she beats them up. She is American born but her mother is Japanese and her father a former very popular rapper back in the day. But when he had Ericka after her triplet older brothers (Maeda, Zion and Ezra) the dad had to put a halt on his already growing career for a while. They moved to japan so the mom can be closer to family, as her older brothers they taught her how to fight. She had trouble fitting in because she was a foreigner but also because she has self confidence issues due to her birthmarks, little did she know each birthmark conveyed a reason to why she was so knowledgeable and compassionate. Young Kakucho has a bit of a crush on her because she was so incredibly kind to him. She is best friends with Izana’s girlfriend Ashanti.

But nonetheless she knows how to fight and one fateful day she caught the eye of Ran Haitani and his younger brother Rindou Haitani when she was beating up a guy who inappropriately touched her. Ran called out causing her to stop and crouched downward to her level and forced her to look at him with one hand and called her “beautiful yet vicious” and decided he wanted her to be his. From then on she joined them in their rule over Roppongi and followed them where ever they went, even moved in with them. She’s not really a blonde but she had her hair dyed before meeting Ran, though his charismatic personality cause a bit of hiccups in their relationship but Ran always reminded her when ever they argued that she “belongs to him” hence why she wears the other earring he wears. Though he had a change of heart after his arrest making sure he’d show her just how important she is to him.

Ashanti Adekunle

Born June 20th 1987, 18, stands at 5’2 is the daughter of Ghanaian woman and Nigerian father, her mom passed from an illness. Her dad was a very successful businessman who often donated to charities like hospitals, foster care and more, he even took Ashanti to a foster care center. That’s when she met Izana and Kakucho, Izana seemed to like her a lot that he asked her to hang out with him so she begged her dad to drop her off often. Her dad was still suffering over his wife’s death and started becoming distant, it pained Ashanti to see this and often stayed out more. Izana was surprisingly supportive of her situation and said she can be his Queen in his new empire he was building, that was his confession to her and they started dating. She’s besties with Ericka and helps her out with her relationship with Ran. She adores fashion and is studying to be a fashion designer, when she was given the opportunity to study abroad Izana told her to go for it. And like that she left promising to call every day and said she will be back soon. Little did she know her boyfriend would be dead when she returned. On top of that she was pregnant with his child.

Tianna Williams

She’s is Misa’s cousin and the younger sister of Trevor. She’s set to be Kazutora’s girlfriend. She met him when she was visiting one summer when they were young and hadn’t seen each other for a while. And kinda lost contact when he got locked up, in the future the two of them are dating. After Kisaki’s death she comes to live with Misa and her mother alongside Trevor. In one timeline she joins Toman’s 2nd generation to take down the kanto manji gang and in the final timeline apart of Toman.

The untold truth

Pairing: Mafialeader!mingyu x Fem!reader

Warnings: weapons, deaths, mentions of food, let me know if more.

Genre: mafia, angst, tiny bit of fluff.

Synopsis:The sudden news of information leak of a secret mission leaves all the members of mafia perplexed. They closed their eyes and the next second, their leader was arrested. Someone betrayed and the taste of betrayal wasn't sweet.

Note: To avoid confusion, this chapter follows Y/n from the start of her mission.

Y/n stepped into her new house, her gaze all over the mess in the living room. She has to clean it all. It's been around a week since she moved in here. It was, of course, for the mission. She has to approach Mingyu, get some information from him and then get him arrested, it is as simple as it is, right?

Well,no.

The supposed important mission would be about 2 years from then. The only reason she approached him sooner is because she has to build a trust with him and get the information unobserved by him.

That means she has to be with him for 2 years. That also means she has to stay away from Yangyang for 2 years.

Don't get it wrong. She stayed away from him for many missions, but it was for just 1 or 2 months.

2 years is definitely a big deal. Especially since they both literally do everything together.

When they said she would be given such a important mission, she was so contempt, that she didn't bother to check the duration of it. Hence, she agreed. Only if she knew, she would've not.

That doesn't necessarily means she regrets taking up the mission. She is more that happy to work for company and deal with a huge criminal.

She set everything up. Ready to face the challenges and consequences in the coming future.

What suprised her was how easy it was to talk to Mingyu. The plan was all set. A guy was following her and she bumped into Mingyu. There it started and suddenly in 3 months, he asked her out.

Y/n settled on the chair in front of Mingyu, whose eyes followed her every step. " what would you like to order?", He asked her as soon as she got comfortable in her place. She gave him a smile. " I'll take a coffee, that's enough.", She said as she examined the café. Mingyu gave her a single nod of his head and left to the counter.

Few minutes passed and Mingyu got back with 2 coffees in his hand. " Here you go.", His voice was gentle. If Y/n wasn't already aware, she wouldn't even have guessed he was considered the biggest criminal in the country. She might have showed that suprise on her face, Mingyu knitted his eyebrows together and asked her, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

" It's hard to believe that you are a mafia leader.", She said, her face still had traces of suprise." You are just...so sweet.", She blurted out without thinking.

"Am I not allowed to be sweet with the person I like?", Mingyu chuckled.

"That's not what I mean.", She said, barely moving her lips.

Months with Mingyu passed quicker than expected. She managed to get informations about their small missions, which honestly weren't that useful. The important one was the big mission, which still has 4 months to happen.

She currently sat with all the members in a room, apparently it was their godown. She was meeting them for the first time. The guys went on and on about silly stories of Mingyu.

Before entering the room, she mentally noted not to enjoy the meet and remember that they are criminals. Her expression right then however, said the otherwise. She laughed along with them, finding herself enjoying the moment.

She suddenly got up, excusing herself to the washroom. The members told her the directions as she went outside, reminding herself the sole purpose of visiting there.

About a week ago, she found a file in Mingyu's room which had '118' written on it along with a key. She figuered it could be in the godown as soon she saw it from outside. The room might contain secrets about the main mission.

She held the key in her hand tighter as she roamed around, trying to find the room.

There it was.

118.

She inserted the key and turned it, hoping that it was the right fit.

It was.

She twisted the door knob and entered inside. The room was dark and dusty. She guessed it might have not been opened for a long period. She closed the door and turned her phone's flash light, only to get shocked. Her eyes ballooned as she saw a photo frame on the wall.

It was Agent Sky with a women beside him. A teenage boy infront of them, smiling as his teeth showed. It didn't take long for her to realize the kid was Mingyu. If not his face, his smile never changed.

She must be dreaming.

There is no way Agent Sky is the father of Mingyu. If it is so, How the hell Mingyu became a gang leader?

There were many unanswered questions and she needed them to be answered.

She hapazardly went through the files on the shelf, keeping in mind that she has less time. She finally got hold of a file which was named "ICS", the articles collected by Kim Jaegeun. She recollected that to be Agent Sky's real name.

Her hands stiffly opened the file, looking at the bunch of papers, listing the crimes ICS committed.

There was a text in the bold at the end reading,"The group seventeen I formed with my fellow trusted members will make sure to eliminate the crimes made by ICS." The note at the end didn't go unnoticed either "The actual proofs of the crimes are carefully hidden."

She couldn't dnt fully process the words she read but was bought to reality by the sound of her name being called. She closed the file and kept it back in place. She carefully opened the door, cautious about getting caught. She walked till the end of the way when she heard MIngyu say her name. " Y/n, Where were you? I was worried.", he said while his face contracted.

" I used the bathroom but got lost while getting back.", Y/n effortlessly lied.

Mingyu's face relaxed as he led her back to the original room.

Y/n followed him blindly,her thoughts fully occupied with what she just saw in the room.

Y/n laid on the bed beside him, watching him sleep peacefully with his eyes delicately closed. She couldn't wrap her mind around the fact that this man was the son of Agent Sky, a person she really admired from her childhood.

Wasn't Sky dead 17 years ago? Did he really die or that was what she and the agents were told by ICS?

Agent Sky risked his life more than thrice for the country. Why the hell would he betray ICS without a logical reason?

That should mean everything in the file was true. Then, where were the actual proofs hidden? She thought of every single place the proofs could've went. Her air analysis was interuptyed when Mingyu opened his eyes a little and said," Y/n? Why are you still awake?"

" I just finished my work.", she said.

Mingyu threw his big arm over her, pulling her closer andf letting her head rest on his chest. " You should sleep well, sweetheart.", he said while his eyes were stilled closed."I love you."

Guilt started to pool up inside her chest. She is going to betray this man in 4 months.

It ate her up inside out.

She would be lying if she said she never thought of living with his man forever. How can she not when he behaves like a absolute sweetheart? Maybe he was a damgerous criminal but when they were alone, he treated her like a queen. She used to brush off those thought by telling herself that he is not a good man. She always failed. It was clear she failed now as well when she wrapped her arms around him and closed her eyes, trying to sleep.

Y/n sat infront of her laptop, pretending to work when she could only think of the situation she was stuck in.

These were the times she wishes to be near Yangyang. Not that she doesnt want to be near him at other times but right then, she needed him the most. After all, He was the only person who was with her through her thick and thin, listened to all her problems without complaining.

Her first priority right then was to find the proofs Agent Sky has hidden. If she gets her hands on them, she can have some progress. It could be anywhere, but one place she really assumes is The Black room prison. Agent sky used to be one of the privileged ones to visit it. It makes sense when you know that majority of the criminals there were arrested by him. She would gain the privilege if she arrests Mingyu.

She has to arrest him and get there, search for the proofs and help him to escape. If she finds the proofs, she'll get them to Yangyang and unite the mafia and the agents who would get to know the truth about ICS. If she doesnt find the proofs, she'll just get caught by ICS for betraying them by helping Mingyu, get satisfied that she atleast tried. This was her plan summarized.

It was good to say that her plan worked.

Y/n exited the room and locked it. She just informed Mingyu that they will be shifted to Affliction rooms. The picture of his red eyes and toned down body remained in her brain, it pained her to see him like that.

I am doing this for him.

she said this to herself as she walked towards the security room and sat infront of the computer. The other day she searched in the building to find the proofs, laughing at how dumb ICS people were to not find these files when they were barely well hidden. But then again, no one would guess the files would be there.

Now she was ready to do the last step of the plan. She has to updated about the information about transfer of the boys to affliction rooms so that the others will see that and make a plan to save them.

she cleared most of the security anyways, it wouldn't be much time from then for the other members to break into the system.

Just then she saw a notification on a transaction of 10 billion into the official ICS account. It was the same amount Seventeen was supposeed to get if they attended the meeting of the leaked mission.

So the company got it. No wonder they wanted to wait till this mission. They wanted to loot the money pretending as the mafia at the meeting.

She frowned, feeling a little frustrated about this. She worked so hard all these years so that their company could escape cimes?

She let out a scoff. They should have atleast given a personal account for the transaction of money.

" She is dead."

" ICS ordered the people to kill her after putting her in affliction room for 6 months."

Yangyang put forward some files on the table. " These are the proofs your father hid. Y/n found them in the Back room prison. She left them in the usual place we meet but I refused to go there because I hated her for being selfish and leaving me alone to save you. I visited that place yesterday and found these. The first thing I did was come here."

Yangyang took a sharp breath, his eyes getting moist.

"She explained me everything in this letter.", he held up a letter. "She mentioned that she wanted me to meet you and inform the other agents about this.", he said with a shaky voice. He got up and kept the letter in MIngyu's hands." She wants us to go against ICS. Read her plan yourself."

Mingyu backed up against his seat and fell on it as he read the letter.

She sacrificerd herself for him and all he had was grudge towards her.

He felt like he did a terrible mistake even though he didn't do anything wrong.

That moment he finished reading it, he kept the piece of paper aside. His eyes red as he said his next words with a dead serene voice.

"Now, we have to do justice for her sacrifice, right?"

My boyfriend has been drawing for a while, I honestly think he's doing real good. But recently he's been feeling down about his art, he doesn't know why he should bother improving his art if his style is *basic* to some people, and it hurts a lot for him. He knows he should be drawing for fun and not force improvement to stress him out, but there's only so much I can do as his loving partner who doesn't draw at all.

So... what was it like for you, Snaily? When you started drawing many years back, how did you not feel like shit looking at how it could be better but you don't know how? What advice can you give to a beginner artist?

I'm gonna reply to this publicly because to be honest i can't resist to give this kind of advice to any and all beginner artists (but i am putting it under a readmore because as you know i love to ramble and this will get LOOONNNGGG and will Truly be The Ramblings of a Mad Man (gender neutral))

firstly, since I hear that he feels hurt by the idea that people out there might find his style "basic". That's a rookie mistake (that literally everyone makes when they start getting Serious about Art). The mistake being Caring Profoundly About an Outside Audience that's Ever Watching and Judging.

Which I literally cannot blame him or anyone for it, ESPECIALLY in this modern social media landscape where newer artists feel like they gotta get GOOD at the VIRAL RAT RACE so you gotta get that sweet, sweet validation in the form of likes, reblogs, retweets etc etc.

So that's my first tip I suppose: don't fall for the entrapment of being obsessed with getting any and all sorts of SWEET VALIDATION during your art process. This is hard to condition yourself to! I myself fall prone to it! It's actually kind of natural. Even if the validation you seek isn't online, surely you're expecting it from your peers or teachers or family members or whoever gets to look at your sketchbook (or you know, your medium of choice).

You want people to notice your art and all the effort you put into it. It's okay! DO welcome those who do!! But never NEVERRRRRR NEVERRRRRR commit the mistake of placing the value of your art on how much praise it gets from others. That's a one trip road on having an Absolute Bad Time. THE ONLY PERSON you should be looking to make happy with your art is YOURSELF first and foremost!!! Always!!! This is the Golden Rule!!!

So people (imagined or otherwise) think his style is """Basic""". Okay! That's literally not a crime anyone can arrest you for!! So what if you're LITERALLY starting and your art looks """basic"""!!!!!!! WHAT IS THE CRIME HERE!!!! CAN'T MY MAN JUST CREATE IN PEACE!!!! LET HIM COOK!!!!!

If he's starting out, i think it's pretty expected of him to just have a "basic" style you know? He shouldn't be ashamed of it! The best chef in the entire world right now didn't start making The Most Delicious Food To Ever Grace Anyone's Plate on DAY 1. They probably started with a goshdang sandwich. Many of them maybe. Until they could make the Perfect Sandwich even in their Sleep and only until then they felt ready enough to explore Further Possibilities In The Kitchen.

(Is this metaphor working? I sure hope it is!)

Anyway.

Well that's a fun question because to this day I get extremely frustrated whenever I realize my Art Level isn't up to my standards. But THAT'S OKAY- even in my case!

If you're Serious About Art (as in, you LOVE making art) you'll constantly feel like you're having to catch up to artists that are doing MILES better than you. Which happens to everyone. Truly it's only the curse of having A Good Taste In Art (so you automatically Set Standards For Yourself based on what you personally consider Great Art).

So again, something to not be ashamed of. But also something to Learn To Live with. I get it!! I truly do!! You see some guy online who apparently is only 14 and they're already making compositions with complex perspectives and an amazing sense of color theory and you'll want to bite off your hands!!!! But you can't let that stop you!!

You're just gonna have to learn to Fail, Constantly. Failing Gracefully! Sucking At Art Again and Again!

You might think this conflicts with the Golden Rule (i mean, if you're not happy with your own art- then what's the point yeah?)

But it's all about Love babey. Loving the process of failing constantly, because deep down you REALIZE you're learning how not to suck little by little.

It's also an exercise in letting Spite guide you. So what if you're bad!!!!!! What if you've somehow committed the crime of being A Bad Artist!!!!!! The cops will never catch me fucker!!!!! SEE HOW I DESECRATE THE HOLY ACT OF "CREATING GOOD ART" AHAHAHAHA!!!! LITERALLY NOBODY CAN STOP ME!!!!! <- the attitude to Have. Yes you gotta be prepared to be Unhinged and to have active Disdain towards 4th Plane Entities that are probably judging your art quality. (Unless my experiences aren't universal and nobody else feels a salacious self-satisfaction whenever they draw something that looks like an affront to The Universe, knowing they can just Try Again).

Anyway those are the benefits of sprinkling a little Spite alongside all the Love for the process of Making Art.

At the start you might feel like you're only making bad art. So! Own it! unironically my life philosophy is that everyone should make more BAD ART!!! ARTISTS OF THE WORLD UNITE TO MAKE MORE BAD ART, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE BUT YOUR CHAINS!

that's for the mental approach at least.

So, what about the technical side? How do you actually take all those feelings of inadequacy and wrangle them into something productive that will help YOU get better at the art you want to make?

with the warning that i am a self taught artist so i might not the the perfect person to ask, but truly the most IMPORTANT skill you want to hone is OBSERVATION and COPYING WHAT YOU OBSERVE.

Basically you're gonna study the artists you like! You're gonna stare REAL HARD at the details in the art they make! And THEN. You're gonna try to copy THAT! Hell, you might even want to TRACE what they do at first** (**THIS ADVICE IS FOR PRACTICING. DO NOT TRACE AND THEN POST ONLINE FOR OTHERS TO GO "hey man wtf this is just you tracing X Artist" DO NOT!!! DO THAT!!!) just so you get a feel for what they have in their art that You Don't and learning how to slowly replicate that.

That's how I learned the ropes at least. Literally printing manga panels and then tracing over them during my Peak Weeb Years. Ah little snaily, how time flies. Another thing i liked to do was watch speedpaints of artists i liked but at like -2x speed. So it was a slowpaint and i could STEAL THEIR SECRETS <- another valuable art skill

Anyway, that's what I think it's the most important (to observe!)

...but also you might want to either take art classes OR watch a buuuuunch of tutorials on youtube for The Basics (basic anatomy! shading! values! color theory! perspective! gesture drawing!!!)

You feel like shit about your art? Fine! Then realize your life is your own and you have the absolute power to change that directly!! GO ON YOUTUBE AND LEARN THOSE BASICS!!!!!! don't be like me and struggle this much with perspective after years of making art!!!! (Though in all fairness, even those good at it struggle with it lol)

So! I am all out of advice for a newer artist.

TL,DR: YOU WILL SUCK A LOT AT FIRST BUT THE MORE YOU PRACTICE AND LEARN ABOUT YOUR FAILURES, THE MORE YOU'LL LOVE TO SEE YOUR IMPROVEMENT AND EVENTUALLY YOU'LL BE ABLE TO DO THE ART YOU WANT TO MAKE.

I head-canon that there is probably an all-girls school in Twisted Wonderland, just like Night Raven College and Royal Swords Academy. However, the characters are based on the ‘prince’s/Heroes. For example; Prince Eric, Aladdin, Prince Phillip.

The name could be something along the lines of ‘Princess Charm Institute.(Yes I somewhat stole the name from Barbie Princess Charm School).

The school is the top school for aspiring female magicians, there are seven dormitories. (Not all of the dorms are based on the Prince’s/Heroes).

I am far too lazy to come up with names so I’ll just state what the dorms are based off of and what the character within them are like.

The Headmage would be Flora (The red fairy from Sleeping Beauty), and the co-headmages would be Fauna and Merryweather (However they would be twisted from them rather than actually being them)

Dorm 1. Based on Prince Ferdinand from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The students in that dormitory are probably the best at everything, especially magic. They ace all of their subjects with ease, charming and heroic when the time calls for it. Everybody swoons when they walk by. Especially when their Housewarden and Vice-Housewarden walk by. The top of the ‘big three’

Dorm 2. Based on Prince Charming from Cinderella. They are quite naïve and hopeless (because they spend so many hours looking for a girl because of their shoe). Probably near the bottom for their IQ, however they are still part of the ‘big three’ because of their fairytale. (Most likely going to get replaced sooner or later)

Dorm 3. Based on Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty. The students have some sort of ‘pizzazz’ to them. Also part of the ‘big three’. The students are second to the dorm based on Prince Ferdinand and the two are worthy competitors. Unlike the dorm based on Prince Ferdinand, they actually have some humour, since the other dorm is just oriented around studying and perfecting their classes and sword fighting abilities.

Dorm 4. Based on Li Shang from Mulan. Students are rather shy when it comes to romance however they are brilliant fighting heroes. 3rd overall across the school?

Dorm 5. Based on Prince Naveen from The Princess and The Frog. Comical but stern and very attractive. The Housewarden does not know how to cook nor fend for themselves because of their upbringing so the vice Housewarden would probably be some sort of knight. Tying with the dorm based on Li Shang.

Dorm 6. Based on Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid. The dorm leader probably has some historic connection to pirates. They are around 5th or 4th place for everything but 1st when it comes to school games. (Most likely replacing the dorm based on Prince Charming and becoming one of the big three).

Dorm 7. Based on Aladdin from Aladdin. Last in their overall school achievements? This is because practically all of the dorms are based on Prince’s or ‘heroes’ however Aladdin is not the typical hero so the dorm members have to get used to sword fighting, fencing and saving boys in distress. So yeah the bottom in terms of academics.

Dorm 1. 11/10 (You cannot beat the original)

Dorm 2. 5/10 (Eh.. some merits for being the second Prince in a Disney movie)

Dorm 3. 12/10 (They are cunningly intelligent)

Dorm 4. 8.5/10 (Quite awkward and stiff but they mean well)

Dorm 5. 8/10 (Funny but could be improved since joking around about somebody’s near death experience two seconds after it happened isn’t the best I suppose..)

Dorm 6. 4.5/10 (Fish jokes…cheesy pickup lines.. very much “are you from Tennessee because you’re the only ten I see”)

Dorm 7. 2/10 at best (Would probably drop them because they got distracted by something more fascinating)

Reading your tags about how people miss the very obvious "there's some fucked up shit boiling underneath" regarding Otto, just gave me a sudden realization. Otto is the only character I know in fiction where they act all innocent and drive up the "clumsy", "just in the side-lines" and "straight-man (heh)" persona. When. Like no one's in the EMT camp is buying it. They know he's way more capable than he let's on. Meanwhile, the tomfoolery is completely brought on by the Western audience.

Like Otto is failing miserably to make other characters believe that he's not up to mischief, Roswaal even thinks it can bring his downfall. But the audience, who even sometimes *sees* his fucked up thought process, is buying it.

no u bring up so many good points bc ive been really thinking about this for a while T^T its such an interesting phenomenon in the difference in perception otto has between the japanese speaking half of the fandom vs the english speaking half which can be explained by—yeah. media illiteracy mainly. im also putting my head in my hands anon T^T

because—okay sorry wkdndn im gonna get into meta again but hear me out bc this pattern of the fandom underestimating otto is interesting bc i kind of sort of i cracked the code maybe??? o.o i think the nature of otto is a character is that youre SUPPOSED to underestimate him at first, just like what happens sometimes in universe. i mean wayyy back then i definitely wasnt expecting him to get more depth added to him in arc 4–which was a pleasant surprise—which is also the reaction the vast majority of people have to reading/watching arc 4, along with the other vast majority reaction which is being a bit endeared to ottosubas friendship and respecting otto for being a good friend. and then its easy to underestimate otto bc of 1. all the chaos going on in rezero at any given moment and 2. hes almost always overshadowed by other characters doing worse shit or being more insane than he is and 3. otto of course damn well knows hes easy to underestimate and counts on that. thats what he did against roswaal in arc 4. plus—i mean even aesthetics-wise hes 100% DESIGNED to be easy to underestimate. his outfit and physical features make him look either friendly or frazzled or soft. so i think that the point is that we were supposed to be kind of fooled—at first.

because yeah, we’re endeared to otto. we respect him for helping subaru the way he did. we think that hes a nice person and we now support his actions especially after feeling sympathetic towards him after learning his backstory. (or at least the average audience member will think this wjdndn.) but like—you dont even NEED to look at any side content at all for it to dawn on you that theres something Wrong. with him. like all you need is main route arcs 3-8 aka ottos entire screentime thus far, because at arc 4 its so easy to overlook otto unless youre thinking a bit deeper (for example—he gets violent with subaru. like yeah its entertaining, its played for laughs a bit, yeah subaru needed to be snapped out of his own head, but was it 100% necessary??? why did otto have this response??? bc if you just look at the main timeline otto really decided to beat up subaru first. and bc this tendency is now Less Funny in arc 8).

but even if youre just looking at rezero face value, when you get to arc 5 its starting to get even more clear that ottos weird in the head. like we already saw him being very good at scheming and planning in arc 4–in arc 5, we find out about otto hiding the tome for a year. we find out WHY hes been hiding the tome for a year. the tome then leads the witch cult into priestella, so like—in the sense, otto is RESPONSIBLE for arc 5. but theres STILL a tendency sometimes for the audience to continue underestimating him even though by this point we’re getting more clues and many characters around otto, like you said anon, KNOW hes very capable. i keep wondering why this is, but arc 5 is, again, FULL of chaos and different storylines happening at once, so its so easy to almost kind of forget otto there in the background until he occasionally pops up again. plus otto serves an additional role as comedic relief sometimes—he spends all of arc 5 being bitchy and whiny (i say this affectionately HAH) about his camp being full of disasters, for example, so i think the natural response from the audience tends to be “aw otto!! what a silly guy!!” sometimes. you know? so its like. i think at this point some people tend to be like “yeah fair that otto was wary of roswaal and thats why he saved the tome…. anyway ooooh whats going on with these other plot points” wobsbss. its so fascinating bc—ok this might be my own personal experience but anyone reading this pls tell me if you agree or not—i dont think ive seen a lot of people actually even MENTION otto bringing the tome into priestella attracting witch cultists. and the english speaking fandom LOVES to go into certain characters’ wrongdoings so why gloss over otto????

the only explanation i have for this is that from arcs 3-4 underestimating otto is. kind of the point of his character UNTIL you get to arc 5 and the clues in the main story start seeping in even more. and also the western audience DOES have media illiteracy a lot. theres that too. just look at rezero content on youtube or reddit or fanfic sites or other things of that sort T^T but no yeah i think ottos nature as a character exacerbates it. youre supposed to start asking questions about him. youre supposed to start connecting the dots and then SUDDENLY its now EXTREMELY obvious in arc 7-8 and even while theres so much chaos going on its basically shoved in your face. arc 7-8 is just delivering on all the leadup that was arcs 3-5.

and i think that youve gotta be media illiterate for sure to NOT get that otto is not squeaky clean and innocent BY ARC 8. i think that ottos the deconstruction of the loyal best friend trope, and also a mirror into what subaru couldve been like if he decided to be more ruthless instead of jumping right to forgiveness and saving everyone, except sometimes that flies right over the audience’s head wkdndnd. it confuses me bc ive seen some people completely miss the point or completely agree with otto and overlook the Bad Parts of it or, you know, STILL think ottos perfectly sane—like T^T please.

and yeah so back to what you said about otto Not being underestimated In Universe—its such an interesting detail bc hes ALWAYS been simultaneously pathetic and Very Competent wjdndnd. but yeah no all of his friends have seen various hints and clues and evidence of what hes capable of. like even though he hid the tome from them successfully and even though hes hiding info now its INEVITABLE that its gonna blow up in his face one day. like you got characters like garfiel who literally saw otto punch the wall and break his hand in an unhinged fit of rage, julius who got snapped at by otto and while julius is a Bit naive definitely knows somethings off there, anastasia whos smart as hell and definitely knows not to underestimate otto, and roswaal who, like you said anon, literally went out of his way to stop otto from breaking his hand in another unhinged fit of rage and warned otto that he will literally be destroying himself if he keeps going on like this. its this fascinating dichotomy bc otto is NOT fooling anyone around him but at the same time his current schemes are mostly unnoticed—for now—which yeah i havent seen that in a lot of media!!! its an interesting balancing act bc people around him realistically know hes competent after seeing the Proof of that for the past couple arcs, but otto is still finding ways to try and Win…

which—again, the anger and violence is an extension of arc 4 otto!! this is the same guy!! hes always been like this!! ottos kind of stayed the same, deep down, this whole time and as an audience its ONLY shoved in our face with a big gigantic spotlight on it FOUR ARCS LATER, but it was hinted to all this time. and like you said anon—we LITERALLY see ottos fucked up thought processes. literally what sane person thinks any of that shit. its spelled right out for the reader HAH T^T which—yeah. media illiteracy…. and also this whole ask was a longer way of just saying that otto is VERY easy to see at surface level if youre media illiterate. but at the same time it should be very easy to figure out otto is A Bit Fucked Up bc tappei underlines it in bright red print!!! i think people sometimes just hang onto soft awkward silly otto and forget about the rest T^T either that or they dont think he cares about subaru at all. which. that phenomenon of thinking characters that do care about subaru Dont Care is also interesting to me bc why????? we’re at arc 8 and you STILL dont get it??? o.ooooo

but yeah apart from that….. i said this earlier but yeah sometimes some people agree with ottos realism in arc 8 which is. understandable, but the whole point is that he is EXTREME. with it. hes Not in the right here, but the same crowd that wants wanton revenge in rezero is gonna agree with that kind of stuff T^T ottos been lurking in the background so much so that tappei made it meta by doing the whole “walking in darkness” part of his character, so i guess people just. dont see ottos ACTUAL worst traits and instead think he would ditch subaru at the first opportunity or something. but at the point we are now, arc 8 ottos problem isnt that hed ditch subaru. his problem is that he would sacrifice the world for subaru. his problem is that he gets extremely angry at subaru for trying to do good. his problem is that hes trying to micromanage everything around him and is willing to sacrifice anything necessary to get what he wants. but sometimes people dont get that bc otto doesnt look sound or seem like a character thatd do that. the Underestimation part of his character is doing too well on. certain audiences. please T^T the soft and awkward and silly parts ARE part of his character just like all the Darker parts are!!!

additionally im also wondering if western audience perception of otto is also clouded by the fact that otto looks and sounds more feminine / androgynous and he doesnt have the appeal of Overt Power either……. he cant Really be waifu-ified… and he cant be used as a weird self insert like subaru…. and you Have to look at him closer to understand him…. and for some reason people dont tend to hate on him so aggressively, if anything people cant even see his actual canonical flaws half the time wkdndn so if youre not paying attention otto CANT be aggressively hated on bc theres nothing there if ur not looking at it….. and if youre not paying attention otto seems more “boring” compared to the others…… (not that people arent allowed to not have otto as a favorite character bc thats totally fair but im talking about the tendency to think hes Saner than he actually is.) but yeah these are just my guesses. i have no clue the western fandom is a little T^T some people unfortunately cannot read.

I know the unpopular opinions meme finished ages ago, but id love to hear yours on Chetney, especially given the uthodurn arc. I suppose for more specific direction since thats quite a broad ask, what would you say is the fandom interpretation of Chetney’s character, and how does your opinion/interpretation of him differ and why?

Absolutely - and questions like this one are always welcome!

I was actually quite pleasantly surprised by the fandom response to Chetney this week, which was by and large positive. But with that in mind I think that honestly, it's hard to pin down a definitive fandom interpretation of Chetney's character! Some of this is probably the circles in which I engage and what people put in the main tag, but I think at this point people who felt he was comic relief or a shallow joke or "just couldn't get him!" have either quietly adjusted their expectations or have left the fandom, or have always been people only watching for one character and ignored him from the start.

So I think the thing that differs in my opinion, to be honest, is just that like....I've never reduced him to mere comic relief? Like, he's an extremely funny and ridiculous character, but he showed a great deal of emotional depth from early on; if you didn't pick that up from his rapid turnaround on Dorian it's pretty much impossible to miss in his quiet conversation in the Heartmoor or the way he takes FCG's also ridiculous backstory about Shithead completely in earnest. These two things, as I've mentioned many a time before, are not in conflict! I think Chetney definitely skews far more comedic than, say, Fjord; or obviously more so than other Bells Hells party members Imogen; but like, comedy, tragedy, and horror are all connected by the same tissue, separated only by timing, perspective, and expectation. We know Travis can do a ridiculous character with heavy plot beats as we've seen with Grog; we also know that sometimes the funniest jokes come from more serious characters (again, I think an underrated moment of hilarity in C2 was Caleb's early "you look like a nerd").

It's very narrow and not terribly smart to box characters into a tiny contained archetype with no room to spread out, and Travis is particularly good among the cast at creating characters who defy those boxes. Chetney is an old weirdo with a high voice who says truly preposterous things; he is also someone whose life took an unexpectedly sharp slide downward following an impulsive decision, and who then, improbably, found that what many would consider rock bottom was in fact one of the greatest things that ever happened to him. He's incredibly passionate about what he loves, and vocal about what he dislikes, and deceptively insightful, and has a strong sense of justice and a remarkably good sense of how far he can push people with his over-the-top bravado without wearing out his welcome. He's even (heavily implied to be) bisexual.

I also think, and here's where "oh shit we need to catch up on the entire campaign on the Bells Hells page on the wiki" is really benefiting me, people underestimate how quietly instrumental Chetney is in many of Bells Hells decisions. He was not just the person to clock Dusk, but also the person to broker the compromise; he served as one of the more levelheaded party members following the disastrous fight with Otohan; he's consistently been the one to ask Imogen to actually consider her relationship with her powers; he was the one who convinced Delilah that she needed them leading Delilah to give Laudna a moment; and it was ultimately his idea to fly the skyship into the key. As of this level, he literally is the brains of the operation, with a +3 INT modifier to Orym, Ashton, and Laudna's +1 (and Imogen's +0 and Fearne and FCG's -1's). He has an overblown public sense of pride, but is remarkably willing to set his ego aside when he is not the focus. And for all he loves being a werewolf, he also does take responsibility for the harm he has done without wallowing in guilt. (Not that exploring guilt isn't valid as well, but I think Chet's approach is an admirable trait).

To be honest I think anyone who's not on board with Chet is uncomfortable with those final notes. Either they're one of the stragglers still on their "but Grog had a 6 INT and despite having five entire years to get over this during which Travis has consistently played characters with at least a +2 to INT, I shall not change my perception" bullshit, or, more realistically, are uncomfortable with the fact that Chetney (and, on a meta level, Travis as a player) both without hesitation will take the lead when appropriate or needed, but also will step aside when the narrative is not about him with absolutely no ego or resentment. I think that last bit really throws people off, especially people of the 'if the show cannot be interpreted as secretly centering my blorbo at all times I'm going to go into my tantrum hole' persuasion.

Cater: That's why instead of a down-to-earth relationship with someone, I'd rather just have a casual and happy-go-lucky relationship with everyone.

Cater: Kind of like those circus guys who'll come in for a whirlwind of fun with people all around the world, and then leave when it's done.

Cater: That's why Magicam's real neat. I even can get messages from people I knew in school three years ago.

Cater: I'm able to make more and more casual and light friendships, y'see? Now that's Cay-kun approved ☆

Kalim: I don't think you gotta restrain yourself, just 'cause you're far away from them, do you?

Kalim: Oh, I got an idea! I'll lend you my magical carpet. That way you can go see your friend anytime you want.

Things I dont like of Chapter 2 (the rise of solos)

You have heard me say it more than once that I don't like Chapter 2.

After much thought, and internal reflexions (cause sometimes I catch myself being mad or sad) I want to share with you the reasons (as a therapy):

1. There is no Ot7 content. Obviously, it's not the purpose, but if we want to see our favorites together (e.g. jikook), it's hard, and it makes me very sad 😥. There is only content from those who have something to promote, and so they do crossover, or a 2 x 1 (even in the design department).

2. Chapter 2 is the rise of solos, and maybe the end of the power or strength Army (as fandom) used to have. 

The true face of many accounts that are SOLO has come out. 

And when I say “SOLO”, I mean those who want the artist outside of BTS. I respect all opinions. But, if I knew that was their pov from the outset, I would not follow those accounts. Still, I follow accounts that follow and agree with those accounts... 😓😓 and the fact is that I don't know what the fuck to do, because sometimes I have the feeling that I need to start over and do a clean up, even though that would mean not following moots that I appreciate a lot.

I'm a bit of a solo myself. We all are. With our favorites. It's logical. 

But I want BTS back in 2025 or 2026.  I don't want any of them to leave the group unless they want to. 

And so far, they have expressed their willingness to be back together. I don't know... maybe they are constantly lying to us... or maybe it's the FUCKING TRUTH! 

As solos become more polarized, fandom will lose strength.

3. I do NOT like Hybe's planning at all. I'm sorry for what I'm going to do now, which is to compare, but it doesn't seem right to me that Hobi, for example, had almost 4 months for it (from July 15th when JiTB was released til mid October when Jin released the Astronaut) and Jimin only 4 weeks. Of course, the solution is to give more time to Jimin (not shade to my dear Hobi).

Let's see... wasn't this supposed to have been planned for a long time? This chapter 2.... 

Didn't Suga or RM have some songs already prepared before? 

Why not the vocal line? 

And what the fuck happened to the 3 songs and 3 MVs that Jungkook was talking to Hobi in early 2021?

Something is wrong here? Do you see it too?

4. In addition to planning, it should be added that Hybe is being very negligent in the way it promotes its biggest intangible assets: BTS members. I won't expand on this, because I already made a post.

In my opinion, it is not organic to make massive purchases to boost anyone's position. I mean, from my pov, the merit is to take the song to the top 1 because everyone who listens to it, likes it, and then "it sounds more and more" and also they buy it. Army is needed, especially at the begining, but can't be the only source of success of BTS. 

BTS members deserve to be EXPORTED worldwide! Hybe DO YOUR JOB! 

5. Despite some glimpses of change (i.e. Bangtan naked era 😏) some things remain the same, to my own disappointment (but my fault & my expectations).

By this I mean certain very Kpop dynamics, which BTS still respects. Despite their privileged position and sailing between two seas: kpop and more western culture .... I think it's clear to us that where they are living influences their behaviour.

By this I mean all: the subject of women, how they should present themselves in front of Army, maintaining the illusions of the "ships", having  impeccable friends and collaborations (although as drinking is culturally accepted there, that seems to be well seen...).

It is funny to me when I see a lot of my PJMS-moots think that everything Jimin is going to do is always some kind of "coming out". There may be glimpses, and hints, but nothing could be further from the truth. Expectations of him are very high (free him from that burden!).... and they forget that he is one of the members who has the most respect for the elders and for his culture and values. If you talk to K-army they will point out that Jimin speaks with impeccable respect for Army. It's not for nothing that he's always at the top of the reputation rankings.

(Side note: maybe that's why the final part of "Letter" is so important, that it's not written in informal and that Jimin would never sing in that tone to Army).

There are things that have not changed and I wished they would change. For instance:

- I never expected jikook to come out of the closet, if I'm correct and they are together. But I also didn't expect such a level of misguidedness and protection (compared to other members, with whom they seem to go out to the theatre, football or drinking with no problem).

- I expected Taejennie to attend a premiere together, of some of their actor friends, and they didn't even greet each other at the Harry Styles concert.

Even if you don't think they're a couple, and that it was all a set-up (a bit naive, actually), it's impossible to think that they don't know each other, given that they share a lot of friends (starting with the Paradise family). 

But on the contrary, to cover up what for me is obvious, Tae has over-used certain mass-raising behaviours.... you know what I mean.

How the group literally went to Shiverfall instead of across the short route to Meteor from Whispervale, which saves a lot of time. There was no reason for them to waste those days, especially a blind mother hearing their child is alive and urgently seeking to meet them. The dogs should know where the quickest route is without delay or have a companion to do that. Time is really not consistent and wasted, they’re would’ve been another raid by the time the mother came since the raiders had warned meteor of leaving or die and if WV is not there to protect them, they’re dead. Yet everything is frozen in place like a sitcom.

Kique tries to draw 3- 4 characters max. Cause more than that, he has a fit, Lost scent is Mature on their process and it’s a real treat to read along and more. Including their insights cause it's fun to read, you can also read this comic on DA

Like seriously guys pls read this comic, I'm on my damn knees for this one. *AHEM* That being said, there isn’t much consistent tension to really horn down for the audience to be on their seat, it's a pass by and an easy fix. There are so many tensions forgotten or fixed under 1-2 pages that it’s ridiculous and there's still more.

I haven't forgotten the situation where meteor was running low on food from the herd and the winters coming fast along with Ranach and Avanti, but it was forgotten and dealt with by literally a puppy howling and Rogio saving the day by a mere fluke. The dogs never brought up about the starvations because everything was fixed and it wasn’t even a good nor justified battle, it was plot armor for Ranach to keep on trolling.

Or when Ronja was in danger and she was forgotten, Roamer went on a dip despite him having concern the male could be a meteor tribe member.

and Rhovanion didn’t want to fight because “ it's not their way”, Rhov buddy, your pack literally fought an alien invasion and caused the Liulfrs to go Extinct with the help of your "alien God". You were LITERALLY THERE TAKING THEM DOWN and didn't even cross your mind of " it's not our way to kill" , that is such a copout exscuse to not want to fight, Ronja was your pack member and adoptive cousin - FAMILY NOT A STRANGER. Or the whole situation of meteor females being oppressed and used as fodder while males forced to be soldiers and brutes in a generational curse.  How Rogio, Ranach and other males would not get a benevolent greeting compare to like Kargo and Ferah who actually did something to help them;

Yet everyone is chill with the males including Rogio who they welcomed, like they were the bullies, while Kargo and Ferah were seen as an annoyance to bother with, Heck Ferah and Ronja Apologized to each other like, there is no conflict whatsoever. Everything patched up nd onto the next plot... if there is any to solidly follow.

If you have people like this, ditch them ASAP When Keirr and Aira had a goal to find their family and Aira finally will be within Keirrs pack??? Forgotten, it was Keirr excuse for them to have ‘ stability ‘ but Keirr was welcomed in and became a Guard while Aira was struggling to fit in and become a Herbalist?? healer?? then was brushed off by Keirr so many times, Lied to her, tok full credit of figuring out the Ghouls when it was Aira and practically ditched her when he finally saw his family again. Leaving her in a tribe she didn't want to be in, in the firt place and tolerated it because OF KEIRR. She literally has anxiety and abandonment issues plus without Kique's logic a disability and Keirr Just straight up ditches her, which is the WORSE thing to do; And I hav not even talked about what he does with Ruan, he doesn't even join Fruajar to guard his family from a raid because Ruan is there. Like imagine you wanting to go with someone on a trip to see the Mountains to meet some lost relatives who're in need of your help, let's say Bob for simplicity, you both have everything set up in a hotel and landed, but then all of a sudden Bob meet some people in Meadows street ( for simplicity ) along with you, Bob is appraised, people warmed up to them and Bob forgot the whole reason for the trip and made an excuse as you tried to remind them for the reason for said trip not even wanting to focus on making friends since its temporary and you have a goal - a subjective mission. Then Bob starts being distant, not even telling you where he went or if he left and gets made at you and tells you to " figure it out" basically, and need to get along with other people - again FORGETTING THE REASON BOTH OF YOU WENT TO THE TRIP. FINALLY he leaves to meet the relatives and do the mission ... but left you in meadow's street, with a bunch of strangers in unknow lands. No warning, no nothing, you're not even around familiar territory to get to the hotel. Basically left you to wander alone to fend for yourself, worse if you have a disability or mental issues...or both.

The one where Kargo had a bear spirit?? He just magically lost it after dying with an excuse that Kique forgot in his own story that contradicts it like...three times. Kique likes to forget his own lore...because he doesn't have a script and loooooooooves to do discovery writing.

Ranach being a menace and was supposed to be this Complex and intimidating antagonist??? Forgotten, since nobody sent a bounty hunter towards him presently, the only time bounty hunters actually done their jobs was on Jahla involving Flame tribe and the matriarch, Kargo for killing two Merchants, despite Kargo and other males may not be aware of it since Meteor was an oppressive and dangerous tribe that kidnaps dogs, it'll be stupid for a merchant to make sales with them nonetheless be near them. Kargo also shows signs of PTSD or a traumatic event that has him react to survival mode; and now South-spear tribe involving them being a nuisance, why it took them that long to attack south spear??? beats me cause Kique doesn't think far from his nose, but not Ranach specifically. Thye probably don't even know he exist despite they should if the Capitol kept tabs on them and RONJA actually tells them about him during Tinget, Instead he’s given a group to form a revolutionary revolt against the capitol ( that is also - probably his poorly patched redemption arch ) after sleeping with every male as what the Author drew Ranach in a ' gay bar' .

The moment he slept with Iberion is the moment he actually did something, he really thinks Sex would make them follow him to the ends of the earth. Can't have a weak male in the comic - no suree - Rome purposely started chaos and took the Nova AND THE WOLF Rome is literally a fugitive. Raven crest can tell neighboring tribes of now someone teaming up with the wolf and did property damage. How is Jahla supposed to show Akiulfrs are not dangerous when you have members like Rome joining. they're asking for a raid. ---- In conclusion, It’s all sunshine and rainbows. “ I understands “ and Stu characters being right 24/7 Who're we supposed to root for if the Main, deutor and Antagonists are all bad. The only one is Fremja, Avanti and Aira for they don't have the screen time to become assholes like everyone else.

TWIST Discuss DEBUT SINGLES 'ATTENTION' and 'WOW THING' & THE MEANING OF TWIST.

TWIST entered the K-pop scene with a fresh and exciting energy, debuting with double title tracks 'Attention' and 'Wow Thing', who both cite influences from 2000s pop and 90s R&B music, Twist make sure to command the public's attention and let the people know that they are here.

On the afternoon of October 1, 2016, TWIST had a magazine interview with Dazed Korea, their first-ever interview, TWIST open up to Dazed regarding their massive debut success, the meaning of the group's name, and where they want to go next.

It's been a month since your debut and you have already received two number ones on Gaon as well as your first music-show win! Did you think you this would happen so quickly?

Mina: We come from a small independent label such as JYL Records, so it is very surprising to us that the public even found out about Twist so quickly. We are very grateful for the public's reception to the music!

Sohye: It feels like a dream. To suddenly go from being a trainee and preparing for your debut for year 3 years to basically overnight success is such a new feeling. When you're in the trainee phase, you're met with many ups and downs to the point where you even doubt if you want to continue... In the end, you realize that your hard work paid off.

Your debut single album, ATTENTION, captures the essence of girl crush as well as a very powerful and intimidating image. As a group, many of you were involved in the creative process. Would this be a proper introduction to TWIST in your eyes?

Chaeyoung: I usually put my hand in the writing and composing of the music, whereas Mina will write occasionally, Hyerim also writes and produces, and both Sohye and Hyerim will come up with the image and creative direction for the music after hearing a final base of it. After careful consideration between multiple tracks, we believed that this is indeed the best introduction to TWIST.

Sohye: Chaeyoung's our main producer of the group in terms of members. She's extremely talented, especially when you learn that she's been composing music since the mere age of 12. I think Chaeyoung did a wonderful job and capturing the sound of TWIST.

Mina: For 'WOW THING', Hyerim was the main producer and that song is personally my favorite out of the three we've released. Hyerim's musical ear is interesting. She made the single by analyzing our personalities just immediately after a week in training back in 2015.

Hyerim: To continue from Mina, I made the instrumental for 'WOW THING' after watching Bratz. This was back when I was a trainee at JYL, I was quite a new trainee, but I had been partnered with these three for the group's lineup and I had made the song after being with them for a week. 'WOW THING' showcases the dynamic and different levels of how TWIST can be.

You work extremely well as a team. How did the four of you become a team?

Mina: It's been 3-4 years of me with Sohye and Chaeyoung, however, as a group, it's been one year of us four together. I meshed really well with Sohye and Chaeyoung in our trainee days, and as of 2015, Jiyeon Lee told us she found someone that would be an interesting addition to the group. Thus, we met Hyerim. Hyerim added the ace feeling that we wanted in the group.

Hyerim: I was only a trainee for a year, but I wasn't supposed to be a trainee at JYL Records. I had originally auditioned for YG Entertainment and ended up in first place, however, Jiyeon Lee actually snatched me! She gave me a tour of JYL and let me watch trainees perform and this is how I came across these three! They were performing "Survivor" by Destiny's Child and I immediately wanted to join them!

Speaking of dynamic and the versatility of TWIST, how would you describe the three songs you've released so far?

Mina: Attention is our debut single, we basically come out the gate demanding attention from the public and peers. It has a very sweet 2000s pop sound to it, and I would liken it to being inspired by Cassie's "Me & U". The choreography, made by Hyerim and Sohye, was made with the intention of being mesmerizing and give a vibe of cheerleading. This song is meant to show our dancing abilities!

Hyerim: Our double debut single, or title track, Wow Thing, has a more R&B sound to it. I previously mentioned making it after watching Bratz, however, musically, I was inspired by a Christina Aguilera track. We showcase our powerful vocals here compared to the other two tracks on the single release. I made sure that the public would know that we can sing.

Chaeyoung: Uh-Oh, the bside of the album, is an ode to 1990s hip hop. I specifically referenced the boom bap side genre with this track. While 'WOW THING' shows the vocals of TWIST, Uh Oh is meant to showcase the rap skills of TWIST.

Sohye: I came up with the overall concept of 'Uh Oh' as a response to the people in my life who didn't believe in me and had doubts of me becoming an idol. However, Chaeyoung helped put my vision to life as I'm currently working on my writing skills.

What does TWIST mean? What are your fans called?

Mina: TWIST means we can do any genre, any sound, any concept, any image by putting a twist to it. We each have individual charms that contribute to the music. We each have an input on the creative process whether its composing or coming up with the concept. We're simply putting our twist on things.

Hyerim: As for our fans, we were considering TWISTERS... but that is absolutely corny. I had to beg the members to not go for that. However, I came up with NADOS. Representing the tornado that is TWIST storming into the industry!

Sohye: That happens to be less corny. But I will add to the possibility of our fanbase becoming huge to the point where their power is equivalent to a tornado.

Would you say you have musical influences?

Chaeyoung: I feel as it may be impossible for someone to not be inspired or influenced by another act. However, I would say as a group, we look to 2NE1 for the goal of being strong of stage like them.

Hyerim: Vocally, I would love to have harmonies like Destiny's Child. I want us to be a vocal force.

Sohye: Individually, I am influenced by The Spice Girls. Each member had a specific charm to them that was quite different from the other, however, they didn't contrast or clash.

Mina: Mariah Carey's songwriting abilities and musical ear is something I would love for us to be likened too.

What are your plans after this?

Mina: Surprising fact, we do have another release planned before the end of the year! We also plan to do more promos and try to get the public to see us more. As of now, we have a couple variety shows lined up.

Do you have any words for your fans and the future ones to come?

Mina: Firstly, thank you Dazed, for having us. We're very thankful for our fans and we will work harder to show many sides of ourselves.

Sohye: I'm thankful for your immediate interest in us and I hope you stay.

Hyerim: I'm very excited for the future to come! I'm grateful for everything that has happened! May we continue to develop from here.

Chaeyoung: For our next release, we will promise to continue to raise the expectations of NADOS. We are grateful for your love.
