AU/Comic idea I guess?

Doll sized Ragatha, inspired by that one Gooseworx post

Anyone can do whatever they want with this idea, i'm just throwing a (low quality) base for the development of a story to the community!

I don't consider myself to be the most creative person when it comes to stories, but bear with me here... (+ some doodles)

After having miscommunication issues with Caine, he makes her the size of an actual doll. Before she can even process what happened, he teleports away, leaving Ragatha with the task to search for him.

The first person Ragatha stumbles upon after this ordeal is Pomni, who is incredibly freaked out at first when she sees her, but Ragatha manages to calm her down by explaining what happened.

Now that Pomni knew what went on + seen how this situation seemed to be affecting Ragatha, she decides to help her find Caine as it would not only help the doll but also (hopefully) compensate for her own screw up on her first day in the circus

Moral of the story? Maybe something like "don't trust your AI kidnapper with handling your issues"

This is the base for the story! You can develop it however you want. Comics, fanart, fanfics, whatever you want is allowed (i dont even know if people will even be interested enough for that tbh) Also, sorry for any typos or grammar mistakes, english aint my first language ugh

I will probably draw more stuff related to this in the future, but don't rely on me for more elaborated things! I only drew this for fun in the first place, then the idea for a story came to my mind

Death Appreciation Week!

With Dead Boy Detectives hitting our screens on the 25th April, and with our girl Death of the Endless making a guest appearance, it seemed only fitting that we should celebrate her in the run up to the show's release.

So I will be running a Death Appreciation Week from Thursday 18th April to Thursday 25th April which will be a celebration of all things Death of the Endless!

Participation is easy. You can go through the prompt list below, and choose to create in whichever way you feel most comfortable. I am keeping this event as flexible as possible so the prompts aren't tied to set days, you just go for whatever you feel most inspired by whenever you can make the time and ideally if you are able to complete a prompt of your choosing each day of the event well then you are a star and I love you!

Rules for Participation

All types of fanworks are permitted. Fanart, fanfics, gifsets, meta analysis, polls, even just sharing your fave comic panels or official artwork is fine. The goal is to celebrate this amazing character in all her forms.

For your work to qualify for submission to the event, it has to prominantly feature Death of the Endless as the primary focal point. Whilst I encourage exploring her relationships with other characters, the point is to highlight Death as the central character in the work.

the hashtag #Death Appreciation Week must be tagged in all works for the event.

Anything goes! I welcome all ships, all types of work, all themes and content. NSFW is absolutely fine if that's your jam. We don't kinkshame here either. So long as everything is clearly tagged you can literally create what you want.

something about me is i got into sonic in 2020 because my BJF (best job friend) at the time wanted to go see the first movie together. we did, and then we saw it three more times in theaters (before they all shut down because of the pandemic). it was this whole thing, we brought our other friends along for the rewatches and always had a lot of fun.

now, in 2023, i surround myself with people who unironically love it.

i know my experience isn't universal, but overall i've had a very positive experience with sonic. and whenever i see stuff that implies sonic as an interest is "cringe" or whatever, i'm always like "huh?" cuz it's so divorced from the reality i live in.

it makes me sad to think that some people feel ashamed about liking sonic. like, what's there to feel bad about? it's a fun series with tons and tons of content, and i think it's great that it can bring people of all ages together. there's a little something for everyone, even if you don't like EVERYTHING about it.

games, comics, music, books, movies and tv shows, coloring pages and sticker sheets... not to mention all the stuff you can make for yourself, since sonic is a very big open world full of endless possibilities irt fanart and fanfic.

idk what this post is about really. i just think it's pretty cool that when i was at the store earlier today, a kid saw my sonic socks and smiled real wide. cuz that's what sonic is to me. something to share and smile about

I hope this doesn't come across as rude or anything, I'm really not trying to be, but… since there's been no news regarding Prague Race for several years at this point and with the comic's website domain down (and therefore no official archive), if it's not going to continue in any form, can we maybe get a rough outline of what was supposed to happen in the rest of the story? I really want to know what happened to Leona, Colin and Miko. I know they were beloved characters to many others beside me, and we've been without closure ever since you announced it would continue in book form. I want to know what PRAGUE RACE is!! What was that about the Prague Race collection Pikokai talked about? What's up with Death and cats? And what does it have to do with Leona?

There are just… still so many questions. I know you won't finish the webcomic, and I don't hold it against you. Your blog post explained pretty well your reasons for it and I understand. But please, if you could just give us Prague Race some closure, I know we would all appreciate it.

As a side question, would you be opposed to fanfic about the rest of the story?

Sooooo idek where to begin with this. I'll start by saying that yes I contacted Rebornica/Bones/Voltergeist and bought two of their old FNAF au designs. Those being Scott/Phone Guy and Jeremy. Before I get into anything I feel like I'm obligated to address Volt's past and let it be known that I do not Care about a mentally ill teenager faking other disorders or aggressively yelling at people to stop copying them or whatever other overdramatic thing they did like a decade ago and I don't think buying from them is anywhere near comparable to "supporting problematic people" compared other designers who are like homophobic or whatever the fuck else, and I'm not here to talk about or argue about "the ethics" of me giving Volt money. So jot that down before you even start typing.

I'm here to ask if anyone here has drawn art of Scott/Phone Guy and Jeremy so that i may save it and add it to their toyhouse galleries. You'll see they both currently have like 100 pieces in their galleries right now but I know that's not even scratching the surface. Theres just so much of it It's overwhelming to look for. Theres also issues of these designs being so popular to the point of people making their Own personal redesigns of them. And it starts to muddy up which art belongs to me or not. This isnt toooo much of a big deal with Jeremy as the giant "?" on his face makes him pretty distinct and easily recognizable as The Guy That I Own. But this becomes a problem with Phone Guy specifically. He is... pretty much The design that everyone draws him as regardless of if they intend for it to be Rebornica fanart or not. People use this design in their own AUs, people use this design as their own OC. Theres so so so so so much art of people labeling their art as "heres my phone guy design!" and its just the Rebornica design. And I don't feel comfortable or really have the heart to save anything that people consider to be theirs even if its literally the design that I own x__x It's just a bit hard when you own a design that is considered canon enough to a real video game to the point where people just. Take him. and there's nothing I can do about that. And it's not something that upsets me tbh because I knew this was an issue when I Bought him. Literally all I want to know is what art I can or can't save and upload to their archives lmao. So I figured asking people to send me their art directly would help reduce the chance of me just taking someone else's art that they didn't intend to be My phone guy. Not even counting the fact that a popular FNAF fan game called Dayshift At Freddy's has their own version of phone guy that ALSO had the red rotary phone head but wears a black business suit. So, any art of That One isnt mine.

But anyway yeah! And just know i'm looking for literally anything involving these guys. Digital art, traditional art, gifs, animations, physical/irl art, doodles, comics, fanfic, cosplays you made, even weird misc stuff like ponytown designs for them, literally anything and everything!!

Let’s talk Headcanons- or “HCs” in the Kyman fan community.

Over my time in the fandom I’ve noticed such EXTREME discourse over headcanons that are being assigned to Kyle and Cartman specifically. And as of recently, my views have shifted a little bit, as I’ve done some analysis. These are my generalized thoughts, I can get into my specific headcanons in another post.

1. First thing is first. Stop being a fucking asshole over people’s interpretations over the characters. There’s literally no point in harassment/bullying over headcanons- It’s stupid and not serious. Yes, you may hate some ships or hate specific headcanons, but this is a tv show with characters who are not real, let people enjoy fandom spaces however they please with whatever ideas and preferences they have. Us Kymanies already get enough crap as it is, lets stick out for one another! We are all here for fun!

2. “Mountain VS Pine” Most if not all kyman shippers now these terms, and they correspond to who of the two (Kyle and Cartman) is the more tall/dominate one and who is the more small/sumbissive one. I used to be pretty closed minded about this topic- I used to believe pine was the only way to go while shipping kyman and applying headcanons. But in reality, we need to come back and realize that there’s no canonical proof to who plays what role in a romantic relationship between Kyle and Cartman- yes there’s a charged dynamic between the two friends that gives us suggestions- but at the end of the day, there’s open space to fill with what we as the shippers think would work for Kyle and Cartman beyond friendship. While I still very much believe pine kyman is a great and close-to-canon dynamic, I’ve opened my mind to how well the mountain kyman dynamic can work inside and outside of the canon. Both pine and mountain can be in character headcanons and both have support from canonical events in the show, movies and the specials. If you’re a pine truther, awesome!! I love you! If you’re a mountain truther, amazing!! I love you too!! (I will not lie when I say I have read some INCREDIBLE mountain kyman fanfics) And if you’re neutral on pine/mountain kyman, or see them having pretty equivalent traits in a relationship, you rock! I love you too. That’s the boat I am currently in, I love all my pine and mountain kyman shippers and the respective content 🫶

3. “Out of character Headcanons” This is where it can get a little cloudy in the South Park and Kyman fandom. Generally, applying out of character or “OOC” traits and headcanons to a character defeats that character’s already existing purpose and identity. Sometimes, when I see OOC interpretations of Kyle and Cartman in either fics or fanart, it feels like I am reading a story with someone elses original characters or “OCs”. Other times, characters being, well, out of character, is fun! We get to experiment with alternate universes or “AUs” where the characters are nearly completely different compared to how they are in their canon universe/the show, with different purposes and different personalities- they just keep the same names, and similar appearance. For Example, the South Park Kyman Future comic is an AU, I’ve read many fics containing AUs like kyman being Cowboys, Detectives, Professor/student and college students, as well as AUs that are also canon like Post Covid as well as The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole. I’ve definitely seen a powerful split in the kyman fandom between people enjoying OOC interpretations and people hating OOC interpretations. I know, when we as kyman shippers see people getting super OOC with kyle and Cartman it can get a little frustrating, as most fans who are dedicated watchers to the tv show prefer to enjoy kyman in character and respective to canon events. We just need to remember that people come into fandom spaces to have fun and enjoy content! Wether someone is new to the fandom/new to shipping kyman, or has been in the fandom and shipped kyman for a while, let them enjoy their headcanons, no matter if it follows the show’s canon events or not. We all have preferences!

Now that I’ve got this off my chest, kind of putting it out there that I stand on pretty neutral grounds with kyman headcanons- I don’t discriminate! Most of the time 🤣- I’ll put together a post or two about my personal headcanons for Kyle and Cartman, my favorite kyman interpretations and my favorite kyman dynamic preferences!!

Participate as much or as little as you want. You can make something for every day, pick and choose a couple, or only make something for one prompt, it’s all good!

You can post late! Whether you post it on the day, or a week later, or even in March, it’s all good with me.

You can include multiple characters, just make sure the prompt character is prominent

You can combine the lists, just use one, or hop between them! For example, you could write a fic about Niffty’s unrequited love for a certain bad boy. Or maybe you want to write an shippy fic about a totally different couple, go ahead! Or maybe you just want to draw Niffty, that’s great too! You also don’t have to limit yourself to only using one list—you could draw Niffty today, write about “Distance Makes the Heart Grow Fonder” unrelated to Charlie tomorrow, whatever you want!

I would really appreciate if you tagged me in your creations! Both as credit for where the prompts came from, and because I want to see the creations they inspire! It also would be nice of you to post the link to this post, or a picture of the prompts, so others can find the prompts if they didn’t see this post.

Any type of media content is allowed! This includes fanfic, fanart, crafts, edits or photomanips, cosplay photos or any other kind of content you can think of! But... any art, fic, or other media you post must be made by you! This means no AI art or writing (including AI “assisted” fic), and no art theft or edits made with others’ art without their permission. However, collaborative works made with other creators are welcome! You can use the movie or comic versions of Hobie and Pavitr, in canon-verse or any AU you want! NSFW and the importance of AO3

My biggest concern if Twitter really die is nsfw artist and sex workers. Us NSFW artist has been betrayed time and time again by many platform who used to welcome us then spit us out once the platform is big enough or to bow down to advertisers.

TikTok censorship is beyond ridiculous

Pinterest wouldn't even allow topless art of a woman

Instagram too not that friendly to nsfw artist

Tumblr banned porn post 2018 and wouldn't hesitate to delete your blog

I'm not sure about pillowfort i heard it's allow nsfw but not as free as twitter? Correct me if I'm wrong tho i never use it

Facebook? Nah i wouldn't even bother.

There's Pixiv but it's not accessible for all people

Mastodon is still new and frankly many said that it has a steep learning curve

DeviantArt turned it's back both to both nsfw and sfw artist with their censorship (literally i see more and more artist who have to censor tits, cock, asshole and even pussy) and also their bullshit piece of shit AI generation + stealing from artist for their generator

Sites like Rule 34 and Hentai site are there but they are not really platform to grow your audience as an artist + too many art thief

Patreon I heard implementing more censorship? It's not social media but many artist using it

Poipiku is a Japanese platform and not all people are native Japan speaker

The fucking dystopian corporations like apple and Google ( and purity culture both in fandom and non fandom) keep sanitizing the internet and wiped out nsfw content for profit (it's not for protecting children or blah blah blah it's all for ads) kicking out all nsfw content creators from all platform they touch, forcing us to wander with no home to express ourselves. NSFW artist still have some wiggle room to thrive but I think sex workers have it harder to thrive on a more mainstream platform...

I know there's many sites for sex workers like for camgirl or whatever but mainstream sites that once more accepting of nsfw has been kicking down sex workers down to the curb again and again and again

If Twitter let's say goes down suddenly or gradually goes down and maybe banning nsfw... Artist will lost the last mainstream global platform that allow them to grow an audience as an nsfw artist

This for fandom nsfw artist who are not using site like poipiku and pixiv it left us with only AO3 to store our art

Yes you can post art to AO3 just tag it as art, literally it is the best safe haven for writing + art with it's mission to protect people creation, they even have lawyer and stuff to protect your rights + AO3 is super nsfw friendly literally you can upload anything that is legal within the USA law (that's a lot of things, thank God it's not based on my country Indonesia law or you wouldn't even see gay people kissing)

But AO3 is primarily used for fanfic + it's not a social media and shouldn't ever be a social media, it is an archive to preserve fanwork. It is fanwork library of Alexandria. The downside because it's not a social media and thus doesn't have features like chatting, algorithm and stuff is that it's harder for you to grow like in other social media. Let's say Twitter really gone if i want to post a series of comic/manga

Then i have to post the sfw/censored pages to Tumblr + post the nsfw page to AO3 it'll be a hassle for both me and my readers but it's possible

Still such a hassle and it'll be easier to just post to Twitter or when Tumblr still allowed nsfw

Also original artist will find it harder to gain audience faster on Tumblr and AO3 because both website are primarily for fandom. Like i can draw a sketch of let's say Anakin Skywalker and it'll get more traction than a fully rendered piece of original artwork

I mean it's possible but if you want to get traction easily as an original artist your art have to be godlike to be noticed amongst seas of fanart that the general public sees as more favorable... I mean you can try to build audience with doing fanwork and once you got big you can post more OG art

Still... It's easier to grow as an original artist on Twitter than on Tumblr or other platform...

Look yeah it's fun to see Twitter on fire but if it's really gone it'll be a disaster for nsfw creators/artist especially those who are making money from it to keep the roof above their head. I hope Twitter doesn't die tbh (I only made acc to see nsfw art, if Tumblr didn't ban porn i wouldn't even bother to use it or too many social media) also this situation brought back the reminder of AO3 importance as the safest and biggest archive especially for nsfw writers and fan artist that keep losing places to post their work, express themselves and earn a living
