I just had the best realization!
For context: I'm not a teacher yet, but I hope to be going to college soon to get a degree in Early Childhood Education and then become an elementary school teacher (hopfully) soon after.
I know that I want a rocking chair in my classroom for morning meeting time, reading time or carpet time in general so I can have a comfortable chair to sit in throughout the day. Today I was looking at different children's books and adding them to my Amazon list for my future classroom and out of curiosity, I looked up if they made a Rainbow Fish stuffed animal and they do! So I started looking for stuffed animals of a couple different characters from children's books and I'm very excited to report that they make quite a bit!
So then I thought about it even more and came up with an idea! What if before class starts each morning, I put the stuffed toy of the character from our reading time book on the rocking chair as a fun little hint to my class about the story we'd be reading? I know that they might not get it or get excited, but I thought it might be a fun idea, just incase a kid or two does notice and get excited for it.
I've also decided that I want to have a designated stuffed animal to be our classroom mascot. Then I could make them do fun things around the classroom for different activities or holidays. Like if we're having art that day, then they wear a smock and hold a paintbrush, or if it's St. Patrick's Day and there's a leprechaun loose in the school that visits our classroom (did anyone else's school do that?), then they could be at the center of the mess the mischievous leprechaun makes. Or if we have a field trip to the zoo, then they hold a map of local zoo and has a little packed lunch of pretend food.
I'm sure there are teachers that have already done these things, but I'm getting very excited to get to college and get my degree and by extension, I'm also very excited to become a teacher, and the more ideas I get the more excited I get!

this is me projecting bc i work at a school and today was ROUGH LMAOOO
but professor nanami in a relationship with reader who’s an elementary/primary school teacher would be so cute because of the contrast of their work places, reader wears all these cute colorful things and is more bubbly and outwardly friendly whereas nanami is like a clean calm man with his neutral toned suits and like if you ever saw the two out in public you’d be shocked that they were involved with one another.
reader would admire how knowledgeable he was and could listen to him talk for hours about literature (i think that’s the topic you said you wanted him to teach) and nanami admires her composure and how loving she is with children (bro starts fantasizing about his own kids with her and then he realizes he’s in too deep 😭😭)
this is so cute??? omg….am I about to make a whole professor au….my god. imagine he’s going to pick up reader and all the moms are like crushing on this hot businessman, wondering if he’s a single dad. but he’s licking reader up in her colorful outfit and paint smudged cheeks (it was finger painting day - it got very intense).
….this is going on the list

Einstein
xvii.
“Okay.”
Marty took a sip of his coffee, flattened his tuba tie, and returned to the helm of his class.
“Who can tell me” – he revealed Beethoven’s stormy portrait – “the name of this week's composer?”
The puzzled faces of the first graders made Marty smirk.
“I guarantee you’ve heard his music before.”
He hit PLAY on the CD player.
The robust, four-note motif of the Fifth Symphony lit up some eyes.
“Ashley, you look like you know,” Marty said to the bouncing six-year-old.
“That’s Einstein!”
“Uh…” Marty chuckled. “He does look a bit like Einstein with that hair, doesn’t he?”

So I was back to subbing at the elementary school today, which as I've mentioned is my favorite place to work. In some ways it's just the most comfortable to me; this is now my fourth year in a row I've had some kind of job associated with kids of that age group who attend that school, so I know a lot of the students and faculty. Actually, a lot of the faculty who work there today have been working there since I was a student.
Most of them recognized me immediately when I started showing my face there, like I didn't graduate from there over a decade ago, age 11. There was one para, who now works as a library assistant, but who used to monitor lunch and recess. I didn't remember her name but I knew her face. The first time she saw me subbing she was just like "oh, hi Diana."
I was talking to her this morning before school started because a first grade teacher unexpectedly called out, so I filled in for her for the first hour of the day before I started the job I clocked in for and a replacement could be found. But this library assistant usually leads the morning meetings with this first grade class and would help me with attendance and all those other beginning-of-the-day responsibilities.
She was saying to me "You know, why don't you work here full time? You're good with kids. You'd be good at it." In other small talk we'd had last year she had asked me similar things, like if I'd ever consider taking up a steady job at the elementary school, how my school was going, etc. I'm in between college right now but currently not taking classes. And I mentioned how I'm trying to take more sub jobs at the middle and high school so I get more well-rounded—that actually is the age group my education major is in. I've been working with the preschool-to-fifth-grade age range but my plan has always been middle-to-high school English.
And I was telling her about that, and I was like "You know what? When I tell people I want to teach older kids, some say to me stuff like 'oh you never know, you might change your mind'—and only recently I've been wondering if I really would. But I hate it when they're right!"
And that made her laugh. But it's true! I do really love working with the littles, as it turns out. Been doing it several years now. But in terms of anyone who's ever mentioned that to me unprompted, I wanna be like... hey, what do you know?!?!

sooo i kinda disappeared for quite a while, but oh well, i'm here now.
the entire october was honestly a mess: there was so much stuff at the same time, i am still rather overwhelmed even though currently i am dealing with just the last few bits of the slowly dying flame that is my practice at school as a teacher. thankfully, it has just ended, so now i am left with a few papers and assignments to fill in, and then this unit is done for good.
to summarize all of the things that happened into a short list:
i moved from one parent to another, accompanied with my dog;
my dog kept getting sick for different reasons, this month we visited the vet more than in the entirety of the last year;
i taught 3 classes at school, 2nd grade level;
i taught one extracurricular class, 1st grade level;
made a group project with other students and kids from 3rd grade;
speedrun my practice diaries (assignments we have to do during our practice at a school) in two days;
learned how to cook some basic soups;
learning how to bake pancakes;
decorated my room, so now it finally feels like home.
as one might be able to notice, that's quite a list. there definitely could be even more, but thankfully fate spared me from more stress than i could already barely handle. but hey, on the bright side of things, i have grown quite a lot as a young adult, and all those troubles showed me that i am stronger than i anticipated myself to be (which is a big revelation for me).
i am very glad for everything turning out the way it did, and now i finally have some energy and emotional resources back to focus more on my hobbies and interests. isn't that wonderful?

🌍 If you have no astrocartography lines passing through the country you lived for most of your life, you probably don't feel at home in that country and have always wanted to relocate to another country
🌍 When you have atleast 2 lines "conjuncting" each other through a certain country, the planet that is more dominant in your birth chart will have a higher effect in astrocartography
🌍 Mercury IC line can show where one of your siblings or cousins relocate at some point during their life
🌍 If you're a girl and you have daddy issues (hey, we don't judge here!!), travelling to Saturn DSC line will likely bring you lots of opportunities of meeting your perfect partner, but also harsh lessons regarding control in a relationship (this is a good line for you to heal your daddy issues)
