"LET'S START FROM SCRATCH AGAIN AND DO IT RIGHT THIS TIME" -- A 2008 MARVEL STUDIOS STORY.
FILM: "The Incredible Hulk" (2008)
DIRECTOR: Louis Leterrier
SCREENWRITER: Zack Penn
CINEMATOGRAPHY: Peter Menzies Jr.
PRODUCTION COMPANIES: Marvel Studios & Valhalla Motion Pictures
DISTRIBUTION: Universal Pictures
OVERVIEW: "In 2003, Universal released Ang Lee's adaptation of "The Incredible Hulk," one of the most popular and enduring Marvel superheroes (titled "Hulk"). Five years later, Universal has released yet another version of "The Incredible Hulk" (which opened June 13th). This new Hulk movie is actually a "let's start from scratch again and do it right this time" concept. That's because Lee's cerebral approach did not wow the fan base.
PART II: Five years later, Marvel Studios is trying to re-launch the franchise on its own -- Universal is only distributing the movie. French action specialist Louis Leterrier ("The Transporter") directed a brand new cast, featuring Edward Norton as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, and opted for a completely different approach to visual effects.
In 2003, Industrial Light & Magic created some 600 effects shots. In 2008, VFX Supervisor Kurt Williams and VFX Producer Paul Molles oversaw about 800 shots produced by seven different facilities. Rhythm & Hues (including R&H India) produced 224 character animation shots, plus 10 composites, while Hydraulx realized 248 shots featuring complex composites, CG environments, CG helicopter and a full CG Abomination transformation.
Other key vendors included Soho VFX (114 shots -- composites and CG environments) and Image Engine (75 shots -- blood drop shot, plus a CG environment for Rhythm & Hues). Lola VFX, G Creative and X1 also worked on the project."

My bro was saying the other day that the gamma radiation made Bruce the hulk, but the hulk was in him all along, he was always the hulk but the gamma radiation just brought the hulk out rather than making him the hulk and that this was possible because Bruce is a mutant. Is this the case?
And if this is the case, does this mean captain marvel is also a mutant because she didn’t die from the blast from the tesseract when she blew up that plane with it?
And does it mean Pietro was a mutant because he didn’t die when he came into contact with the mind stone, and instead of it making him quicksilver it simply brought quicksilver out of him?
And is this also the case with Wanda? But how could that be because WandaVision kind of established the fact that she was a witch before she came into contact with the mind stone. But regardless of that, is she still actually a mutant? Is dr strange a mutant cause he can do magic or is he just incredibly skilled at picking up stuff like that? And Ned?
Is Peter Parker a mutant cause he didn’t die from his radioactive spider bite? Or was that because his DNA was in the spider already and that’s why it worked? But that’s based on the Amazing SpiderMan, and so is Peter Parker a mutant in the MCU but not in the Andrew Garfield universe?
I’m so confused right now! These questions are filling my brain and it’s gone midnight so I had to get them out.

I've been playing a ton of Fallout 4 recently and all the radiation damage in the game has me thinking about how Transformer sparks are essentially small stars and thus put off a ton of radiation. But this isn't an issue to other Transformers since it's an amount they can handle and with their chest plates closed they give off no radiation.
But it would be a massive issue to humans.
I keep thinking about how humans interacting with Transformers regularly would have to wear portable radiation detectors at all times. And when someone opens their chest plates or gets a crack in their frame the detector starts screaming like a Geiger counter next to a mountain of radium watches. And how scary it would be because the human so badly wants to help but every second they stay near is another second they're getting closer to their own avoidable death.

You can't tell me that Neo Cortex isn't like... the weird uncle. Like, obviously you got Techertz as Kaz's dads, you got Solar Radiation as Oliver's moms, and then there's Neo Cortex as their weird uncle. Wallace and Clyde are those cousins that are older than you, if that makes sense?
