"There is no time left for you."
"Wrong again. I have nothing but eternity before me."
I'm not over the way Ice Pick Joe ended. He has everything Goncharov does not.

What is it with recent Star Wars content and hallway killing spree scenes?
First we had Darth Vader doing it in Rogue One.
Then Darth Maul in the last episode of the Clone Wars series.
Then again with Luke Skywalker in his cameo appearance in the S2 finale of The Mandalorian.
Obi Wan had one in the Kenobi series when he broke into the Inquisitorius HQ building/aquarium. Tbf that was more in self defence as he was leaving but still.
And now again with Baylan Skoll in the Ahsoka series. (RIP Ray Stevenson)
It seems to be something of a pattern.
Or an odd coincidence.

This was the first scene we saw with Vader, and it was this scene that got us into the Star Wars fandom. :)

Inceptiversary Day One: Favorite Scene
@inception30daychallenge
Though it is quite tempting to say the ‘Dream bigger, darling’ scene is the best, I still think the rotating hallway fight scene is the absolute stand out. Combining the cutaway to the spinning van (and everybody’s limbs flopping around in slo-mo, lol), to Arthur being the BAMFiest BAMF ever and doing it all while rocking the hottest outfit in the film. And the oner shot of the room as it spins. Like, damn son. It doesn’t get much better than that. You can really tell how much care and attention every aspect of this scene was given, even in the context of the rest of the (meticulously crafted) movie.
It’s just *chef’s kiss*

Parallels.

Seeing Patterns in Things that Aren’t There.
Part 11
-
Hallways, Death Angels, and Lone Cybermen.
-
“That…thing. In the hallway, while we were trying to get off the Profundity. It killed at least a dozen of my men, cut them down like they were nothing. Blasters had no effect, it just kept on coming, kept on killing. It was like…like a nightmare. I’ve never seen anything like it, like some kind of death angel.” - Toshma Jefkin. - Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View (2017).
1. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
2.Doctor Who: The Power of the Doctor (2022)
3. Amphibia. (2019-2022)
Seriously what is it with hallway scenes today.
I’d say Rogue One boosted the popularity of such things.
I just find it a bit odd.
I’m not complaining btw.
I’ll admit, from what little I’ve seen of the show, the Amphibia hallway scene was definitely a deliberate homage to Star Wars.
Whereas the Doctor Who one seems like more of a coincidence. At least it does to me.
Make of that what you will.
