hello everyone!

since next Tuesday is Christmas and I probably won’t be online, this is my last selfie post of 2018, so here are 12 selfies from 12 months of this year. I didn’t take any in August so enjoy the cameo of @christmaswheeze from our Boston trip

overall, I had a pretty great year! I aced some classes, met Jules,Kelly, and my favorite actors, wrote a thesis, wrote a 19k soulmates au, got disappointed by a television show, found a better one, and had some good moments with family

Hello, it’s your resident loser here with another Harry Potter ramble.

Anyway, bear with me here. My one of my many favorite headcannons is Harry raising Teddy, but another favorite is Harry and Draco splitting custody (Draco is his cousin. I like to believe they would have crossed paths while Teddy was at Andromeda’s (and I could ramble on about that, but I will spare you)).

Now, imagine that, even after Teddy has “graduated” from Hogwarts and moved to Merlin-knows-where, he comes to visit when the younger members of his enormous family are being sent back to Hogwarts. Imagine the year when Teddy is granted a private audience with a couple of his family members, on different occasions.

“Teddy, I just like him so much. I know it’s weird or whatever because he’s a guy, but I just really like him. You won’t tell Dad, will you?”

“Teddy, we’ve hugged. We hug now. And it’s not just that. I get those butterflies in my stomach, and I know he’s a guy, but I know Mum and Dad were accepting of you and James and... I don’t know what to do, Ted.” (Okay, you can sue me for forgetting when exactly our boys first hug because I still don’t own the fucking book, and I suppose you can also sue me for including Jeddy in here, but I’m not sorry for that).

Anyway, imagine Teddy having to bite his tongue, because he’s heard both sides to their stupid oblivious in-love-ness, and every fiber in him itches to set up the two boys. Imagine him being pissed off because the boys are so obvious so how has neither of them noticed. Imagine him plastering a smile on his face and telling them both, “I’ve seen the way you look at each other when the other isn’t looking. It’s the same way I know you’ve seen me look at James. It’s perfectly okay to be scared of what your parents may think, but despite their nagging, they really do want what’s best for you. They won’t stand in your way if they truly believe that the two of you together is a good decision. I do.”
