So I had queued the post for this morning but I don't think it posted so here it is:

Hello! I am participating in @rottmnt-secret-gifting s Halloween exchange.

This is my work for @donatellokinnersinner it is based on their fic Donnie Gets Shredded so if you haven't read it go do so because it's good and it'll make this make sense.

Anywho without further ado here it is and Happy Halloween lovelies:

It had been a year since they fought and defeated the Shredder. A year since Donnie got his shell hurt. A year since they were all traumatized, to say the least. But they were all over it. Sort of. Maybe. Not really.

It was Halloween, well kind of. It was the night before and the turtles, Splinter and April were having a little fashion show to reveal all of their costumes. So far Ralph had shown them all his Teddy bear costume, Mikey with his Bob Ross, April with her Mina Ashido cosplay and Splinter with his Master Yoda. They were all now in their pj’s, as to not get their costumes dirty, and sitting on the couch.

Now it was the twins turn. Leo was up first. The fact Leo is flamboyant is common knowledge, the fact he is very into vocaloid not so much. So when he walked out with a whole ass cosplay the rest of them were at least half surprised. The pretty skirt, the sleek tie, the beautiful blue hue, the texture of the ponytails, it has things they all love and even things they didn’t know they loved!

The first few notes of one of Hatsune Miku’s songs started playing and of course he’s singing. By the end of the song there was hoots and hollers and pats on the back.

“I didn’t know you liked Hatsune Miku, Leo.” Said April as Leo removed the costume and slipped into his sweatpants and tank top.

“There’s lots you don’t know about me~” he replied with a wink. “Anywho get ready cuz Donnie has been hyping up his costume for this year since last Halloween.”

Suddenly all the lights went out and everyone jumped into a fighting stance ready to go out guns blazing until the crackle of the speakers coming to life once more and Donnie’s voice filled the room.

“Nobody panic. We put a bit too much strain on the main generator and it’s been due for repairs for a while, don’t worry the back up generator should be online right about… now.” The lights came back on. “Alright the lights might flicker a bit but other than that it should be fine until Shelldon or myself goes and fixes the main generator. Back to my costume, prepare to be ✨bedazzled✨ and by ✨bedazzled✨I mean terrified because hopefully you’ll be scared shitless-”

Donnie turned off the speakers because otherwise he wouldn’t stop talking. He grabbed the small bucket full of red he had set to the side for this moment and dumped it on his person. He made sure his fake popped out eye was perfect, his stance was good and the color of his make up was accurate to an actively decomposing corpse. He took a deep breath and stepped into the ‘runway’.

One step out and everybody reeled back. They were way more than scared shitless. Donnie’s zombie costume was something out of nightmares (that is a compliment), there was blood and guts everywhere and it looked real. That was the problem. The blood and the injuries looked /real/. The rest of the group shivered at the memory, and looked away in disgust and fear, except for Leo. The sight of his twin bathed in very /real/ looking blood had his head spinning as everything flooded into his brain as if he were there again. The exposed ribs, his injured shell, the screams, oh gods, the screams. Leo didn’t notice he was curling in on himself as tears ran down his face at the flashbacks.

A distant voice called his name, it got closer and closer until he heard it everywhere.

Leo, Leo, Leo.

“Leonardo!” Donnie’s rarely worry ridden voice cut through his thoughts. “Are you okay? Talk to me man.”

But it wasn’t Donnie. It was that blood soaked, lethally injured apparition of him.

“I’m sorry… I’m sorry… I’m sorry I couldn’t save you…” he began muttering.

Leo would never admit it but he had nightmares like this all the time, he would be in his room in a reality were he was too late, were his brother was gone and he’d wake up in a cold sweat at just the idea. He would then silently walk over to his purple counterpart’s room only to make sure he was still there, still breathing and then not be able to sleep for a week.

He began to tremble as silent sobs racked his chest and he retracted into his shell as the word sorry fell from his lips repeatedly.

About what felt like a minute later he realized there was something soft against his plastron, like a pillow, and circles being rubbed on his shell. He slowly inched his head out of his shell as his crying subsided and the calming ministrations continued. He slowly blinked his eyes open and he noticed he was laying on a pillow on Ralph’s chest.

“W-what-“

“You’ve been crying and whimpering in your shell for approximately 14 minutes and thirty seven seconds.” Said Donnie’s voice behind him.

The wash of relief that came over Leo when he realized the makeup and costume was gone as Donnie sat on the couch in just his sweatpants was short lived when he saw the tear stains on the purple turtle’s face and mask.

“Dee… Are you okay?” Asked Leo as he crawled completely out of his shell. He went to crawl over next to donnie only to realize he was on the completely opposite end of the couch and he had a pillow tied to his back.

“Who cares if I’m okay,” Donnie threw his arms up and then brought them back to hug his knees, his hands resting on his forearms. “are /you/ okay? You were in there for a good while, we were all worried.”

“Yeah, yeah I guess the blood just got to me okay? But back to you, why do you have a pillow tied to your back?”

“My battle shell is going through some repairs and this was the only thing I could think of to cover my scars for now. I really do have to make myself a more casual hard shell for situations like thi-“

“Why did you cover your scars?” Asked Leo, interrupting Donnie’s frazzled rant.

“I panicked, okay! Why didn’t you tell me you had PTSD from my injury? I wouldn’t have made such a realistic, or gore-y for that matter, costume if I had known. You got scared and retracted into your shell, you never go into your shell! I don’t know, you being that scared made me feel exposed and I don’t know, my brain just went into solve the problem mode, I’m sorry.”

“Donnie.”

The soft shell’s head snapped towards the slider.

“Stop scratching your arms, you’ll hurt yourself.”

Donnie looked down at his forearms and realized that he was almost at the point of breaking skin. The white trails left behind by his nails were blooming into a shade of red.

The purple turtle felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to see his blue counterpart with the rest of his family standing behind him.

“Listen, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, but you shouldn’t be apologizing for also panicking. And honestly I’m… I was gonna say I’m surprised we aren’t comforting you, but I’m not very surprised, like at all.” said Leo.

Donnie chuckled.

Suddenly the lights went out and came back on in quick succession.

“Don’t worry it just the back up generator being weird! And, well, I’m not surprised either. I’m still mad you didn’t tell me you had PTSD but we probably all have trauma we’re hiding from each other.”

“Ha, I suppose we are.”

“And don’t worry, I’ll change the costume.”

“You bet your purple ass you are.”

Favorite Character: (I absolutely HATE that question, why do I have to choose ?!?) I'd say Bokuto Koutarou but I also have 5 others in mind lol

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: The Tokyo Stage during S2 is my fave because my favorite characters get many screentime together, we see so many different people interact, and it's so fun to enjoy matches without the stress of the competition. I get to support anyone and not feel guilty about it !! Also there's Tsukki's character development, and there's my favorite scene in the anime (the Oya Oya Oya), and they all learn and work on new techniques and it's so cool !! (<- already rambling too much)

Character I Think is Underrated: Maybe Gosshiki ? He's such a baby I love him. I believe Tendou is very much loved so not underrated. Tanaka too. I know people love him but I think he deserves so much more. That man participated in EVERY MATCH, he NEVER got replaced and he doesn't have an ultra special attack and he's not the ace but he's sooooo reliable and cool. He's a caring sempai and a good player and an amazing friend and the only straight ally in a gay world lmaooo We don't appreciate him enough.

Character I Think is Overrated: When I'm not rewatching Haikyuu I think that Hinata and Atsumu are kinda overrated because yeah they're cool but they're not the bests and their characters (I know they're different) aren't the ones I love the most and also I think they're selfish. Then when I rewatches the episode for fun I4m so invested in everything and I just cannot not love them. So, no one is overrated actually.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: HAHA I won't answer that- Alright I will but keep it short. Let's say any popular ship that involves Tsukki, Kuroo, Bokuto, Akaashi and Kenma. Yes even the polyships. Yes. Any popular ship.

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: Everything. (<- only short answer I4m able to give)

BOKU NO HERO ACADEMIA

Oh it's been a while since I've been in that fandom. I lost my hyperfixation 3 years ago and I don't even read the scans anymore. Let's do it anyway, maybe it'd wake some sparkle in me and I'd be able to finish my fanfictions !

Favorite Character: I used to say Present Mic or Bakugo and I'm not sure now. I think Aizawa-sensei is someone safe to say, he'd never not be in my Top 3.

Favorite Arc/Episode/Scene: It's been so long, I don't really know

Character I Think is Underrated: Hatsune Mei. I love her and I rarely see people talking about her (or maybe I'm not on the good side of the fandom). And Mina (I know she's loved but not enough)

Character I Think is Overrated: All Might, I don't really like him. Mineta of course, he deserves Hell.

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: The theme is good : how should we build a society where almost everyone has a superpower ? How do you regulate that ? How do you classify people as heroes, vigilantes and villains ? How do childhood trauma and socioeconomic differences, and traditional cultures play on the development of the superpower and the life of a person ?

Favorite Ship/Pairing: Zukka Nation

Something I Love About the Show/Movie : It's just perfect ? Perfect representation of everything ? It shows so many delicate subjects (people -kids- involved in war, sexism, racism, denial, terrorism, propaganda, redemption, trauma) and it's just GOOD. Zuko returns to his abusive family and makes more mistakes. Sokka looks down on women despite living years of his life surrounded by them. Katara steals something because her ego is hurt. Aang hides something to his friends because he has abandonment issues. Toph is.... Toph. And it's so well written and perfect and good.

Character I Think is Underrated: Ino Takuma. Protect him.

Character I Think is Overrated: That fucking Naoya Bitch. I learned his in the TOP 20 popularity poll ??? HOW THE FUCK ??????? I literally cannot see his face, it gives me nausea. I hate him so sincerely, I don't even want to think about him.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: You know, I know, we know. The strongest. The one and only. The curse me a little at the end. They're known by many names. Satosugu, Gego, Sugusato, Goge, SaltSugar, whatever you want.

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: It's literally a story about love. It is not a romance anime, but it is about love. The theme comes back so often. Suguru loved his friends and it doomed him. Satoru loved Suguru and became a teacher. Yuuta loved Rika and cursed her. Geto's family loved him. It's all about love and no one could convince me otherwise.

Like worldbuilding and their actual personas! And what call backs do you have to the games? (It's a me! Cookie!)

Hehehehehehehehehehehehehe. It would be my pleasure!

In regards to the call backs to the games, I'm going to say that literally all the games are canon. All of the mainline and spinoff Persona games are canon in this au. Yes, including the Dancing Games. Hatsune Miku is canon.

This of course, has consequences to the world. For one, people are going to notice fast that something off happened when they look back at the past. Yeah a good chunk of them was forgotten due to Persona shenanigans but the Phantom Thieves of 2017? That's an interesting case.

Stealing people's Hearts? Impossible escapes? All the people of Shibuya claiming to have saw a Demon shoot a bullet through a False God? That's bound to catch historian's eye. And that's not even mentioning the papers that Dr Maruki published and the recovered research of Isshiki Wakaba!

It's something that would catch the eye of the HPSC, historians, and Quirk Researchers. The whole Cognitive Psience may be just an early version of a Quirk that mutated wildly, and that's what makes the Phantom Thieves of 2017 a subject of study once the Present Day Phantom Thieves make an appearance.

So yeah lots of callbacks to the games. A lot of callbacks to the games. In fact...you may see some familiar faces and some familiar Personas...

For Worldbuilding I like to say that there is going to be heavy emphasis on both the past and present of mha and Persona canon. So we're going to get how Yoichi got access to the Metaverse App and how the knowledge of Personas goes and effects all the characters in general.

A good one honestly would be Yagi and Torino both knowing that All For One is very much alive before canon events happen. My reasoning behind this is because Yagi would have used the Metaverse to go and gather information on All For One and his forces and Gran Torino would 100% know about the Metaverse. He was Nana's Confidant and Toshinori's teacher. He would have known.

As such, Igor would go and tell Yagi that his job is unfortunately not finished. The False Demon Lord is weakened but not killed. There is still a job to be done.

This of course makes Yagi be even more adamant on keeping up as All Might and to keep pushing despite it being clear he is reaching a limit. Some things can't change and Yagi's need to protect and save others is one of them.

As for everyone’s Personas, hehehehehehehehehehehe. Oh boy I am excited for this one. The whole class got Personas and it all happens throughout the course of the first school year and a bit into the second school year.

Everything is centered around Greek Gods/Heroes and there may be some fun familiar Personas here. Especially the last one.

1- First Game? Sonic Forces

2- Favorite Game? Sonic Adventure 2 or Sonic ‘06

3- Favorite character? Rouge the Bat !

4- Favorite IDW character? I’m sorry, but. Dr Starline

5- Favorite Archie Character? Mina Mongoose !!

6- Favorite Sonic the Comic character? I have not read it 😔

7- Favorite show? Tie between Sonic Satam and Sonic Boom

8- Favorite stage/level? City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 !

9- Favorite Boss Fight? The train from tmosth because I suck and it was the easiest one for me so far

10- Favorite stage theme? Pumpkin Hill

11- Favorite spin-off Game? I’d say The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. I really liked the sonic cast in a visual novel :D

36- Favorite Sonic related memory? Either Sonic Symphony back in 2021 or Taking Heads and Tubes on different adventures

37- Hottest sonic take? Sonic underground’s worst episode is better than Sonic Primes best (no hate to prime I just don’t think there’s a lot a fun character interaction in it)

38- Coldest sonic take? Hating on modern 3d games for no reason does not make you look cool. In fact it does the exact opposite
