Honestly this one was a really close call, but when I really thought about it I couldn't get Mr. Explodey Man out of my head. He sees you as super passionate and well rounded, both qualities he can appreciate! This man comes from a very straightforward and strict upbringing, so having your radiant personality and look nearby is honestly pretty refreshing for him.

I can see your dynamic including a lot of hurt/comfort influences, as well as some partners in crime and like a little friends to lovers vibe. He's very much an optimist and loves keeping your spirits up! He understands a lot of what you're going through (*coughs*t4t*coughs*) so expect a lot of advice and validating comments. Definitely tries to get you into some mischievous activities when bored, trouble is this guy's middle name (it's actually Finnegan). That's not to say he doesn't mind lounging about the house, learning about one of your interests through videos you watch or just listening to you ramble. He might fall asleep on you if you're not careful tho.

Demoman is also a very adaptable man. He's been around and seen a lot in his time, so he comes perfectly prepared for nearly everything you may need from him. It does surprise him at first when exposed to your stims and tics, but only for a moment! He finds stims that show your trust endearing, and certainly doesn't mind getting anything you need if you're having a bad day. He definitely seems like the type to catch on to what the different stims mean pretty quick. If he notices you're getting anxious he may subtly rest a hand on your leg, or lead you away from an area until you're no longer overstimulated. Once he learns about your non-verbal bouts he always keeps a pen and notepad nearby. Just very subtle and gentle things that shows he cares because he really really does.

He also adores your music taste!! Very chaotic instrumentals and throaty singing gets him all kinds of hyped. He tries to pass that hype on to you and it works about 99% of the time. When you're both bouncing with energy he'll gladly take you out somewhere to burn energy (and cause trouble). The best thing about Tavish is that this man can make anything fun. Simple things like taking out the trash, running errands, even going on a quiet walk end up becoming your most cherished memories with him. He always hums a tune from songs you like when he picks up on you smiling more.

Expect to meet his mother!! I have a feeling he plays it a bit old school when it comes to relationships, so he'd absolutely insist upon you meeting her. He also just really loves his mom. When you're both ready he invites you to his (fucking huge) house for tea. He's very confident you'll hit it off right away! It starts slow, but once you mention your experience with textiles she beams. Having experience herself; she happily shows you some pieces she's made for her family and for her. She asks that you update her with anything you make in the future, so I think you can safely say she likes you. It makes demoman very happy to see you getting along.

To summarize; he absolutely adores your presence in his life. He'll try his absolute best to make you happy, and loves laughing with you about anything and everything. I hope you liked it!!

This is not a review?

So I don’t normally talk about movies much in general unless it comes up in conversation. But this movie made me NEED to discuss a few things about it. Including things it did terrible, and a few things it did pretty well. 

The movie in question is this.

Now again. This is not a blog dedicated to breaking down movies or literally anything else like that. Hell if anything, this is a blog meant for me to discuss things I feel the need to talk about in general. This is kind of a weird one for me.

Not that I think anyone will watch this movie but, *Spoilers*. 

Movie is pretty basic. Girl and guy go to a dinner party as a catering service. Girl took over the business from the father, he’s gone, she is trying to just make ends meet. Concept for plot is that some biochem researcher has died a while back and his wife and son are throwing a get together. However, due to reasons we WILL NOT KNOW until over half way through the movie, There are giant wasps that end up attacking this party. They start stinging people, then all of a sudden these people are seizing, dying, and being ripped open from the inside, by MUCH LARGER wasps. The first ones were about the size of a soda can. The ones that popped out of the people, *pun intended* were 7-9 ft long and probably around 4-5 ft tall standing up. 

Now for the things the film does well. The relationship between the main two characters is believable, and progresses somewhat organically. Quite a few of the actors are pretty decent in their rolls. Over all, it’s pretty entertaining. 

Sadly that’s about all it has going for it. A bit around/over half way through the movie you find out that the wife of the biotech guy didn’t like regular fertilizer. So she had the son use some that they had. The son mixed it with growth hormones or i guess some kind of super growth hormones with the fertilizer. As such the movie starts with a wasp, attacking a bee, then laying it’s eggs inside of it. The result of that, is a MUCH larger *for some reason* wasp. But somehow, the wasp has gone from tarantula hawk breeding, to ground hornet breeding. As when the nest ends up fully disturbed and mostly dug up, a swarm of nearly 100′s manifest from the ground. All around the size of a soda can. Now all of a sudden you have these wasps, stinging people, and 10-50+ seconds later you now have these 9ft x 5fg spiked monsters popping up everywhere. Funny thing? All the smaller ones are just gone. And what’s more, they are NEVER mentioned again in the movie, but alluded to in the last min of the film. So not only are the growth rates on these things mindlessly insane, but also it makes no sense. 

I’d have tried to give it a pass if the entire point of the movie was to be ridiculous, but it tried to actually hand wave and explanation at us. I can’t even give it props for that. Because they go from what? 100+eggs inside of 1 bumble bee, to then laying ONE singular egg inside of people. THEN they destroy the mansion and start turning it into a paper wasp nest with a rogue queen, and a much much smaller wasp that can control the sons thoughts after it pops out of his shoulder. 

This movie jumps through so many weird hoops that it ends up being extremely entertaining, but is also just really trash. The growth of the wasps makes no sense at all. The rate at which they lay eggs makes much LESS sense. The size growth depending on the person the egg is laid in makes FAR less sense than even that. AND even then, if they can have an egg laid in a person, from one sting, then have a 9x5 wasp pop out of a person that is not even 6ft tall in under 2 min.....the life cycle on that thing would be a DAY at most. 

Clearly....I know this is not a movie that I need to put that much thought into, but there was so much inconsistency I couldn’t not. Don’t get me wrong, it was a really fun watch. But dear lord, if you are going to botch the science THAT badly, either don’t give us an explanation at all, OR give us as little as humanly possible and let the audience just make up there own version of what likely happened. This movie is so fucking goofy and I think it could have been a B movie had it tried a little harder. Hell, I wish someone would take the concept and just do it a lot better. But with fighter jets and tanks. Not in some no name place in the middle of the country.

Switzerland Planning To Retire F-5s In 2027

Swiss commanders have outlined plans to retire the Northrop F-5 Tiger combat aircraft in 2027, bringing to an end its famous international aerobatic team, the Patrouille Suisse.

As the Swiss Air Force prepares for the arrival of the first Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter in 2028, commanders have concluded that the service has “neither the need, personnel, finances or infrastructure,” to keep the F-5 Tiger fleet in operation during the transition to the F-35, service chiefs declared on March 15.

But the service’s F/A-18 Hornet fleet will continue to operate until 2030 once the F-35 has been introduced.

Commanders have already concluded that the Tigers cannot be used for air policing because of their outdated sensors and armaments. So the 25-strong fleet has been relegated to secondary duties, including target towing, training and aerobatic displays. Tiger operations, officials say, are currently relieving the F/A-18 Hornet fleet of such secondary tasks, extending Hornet life.

The F-5’s retirement will bring an end to the Patrouille Suisse aerobatic team, which has flown the F-5 since 1994, replacing Hawker Hunters.

Officials say they still want to retain a flight demonstration team “to demonstrate the work, capabilities and importance of the Air Force to a wide audience.” But the most sensible solution is to make the existing Swiss Air Force PC-7 display team—flying the Pilatus PC-7 turboprop trainer—the flagship aerobatic team for the service.

Maintaining the Patrouille Suisse’s operation of the F-5 beyond 2027 would demand investments to be made in ejection seats, aircraft avionics and navigation. At least 12 aircraft would need to be kept operational—10 single-seat and two twin-seat aircraft. Officials say such an investment would cost around 9 million Swiss francs ($10.2 million).

The plans will now be discussed with Security Policy Committees in the Swiss Parliament.

The pensioning off of the Patrouille Suisse could mark the beginning of the end for some of Europe’s best-known aerobatic teams, which are reliant on increasingly older aircraft. The Royal Air Force’s Red Arrows fly Hawks that are around 50 years old—the team is the last operator of the BAE Systems T1 model Hawk in the UK. Spain’s Patrulla Aguila team continues to fly the CASA C-101 Aviojet even though the type has been withdrawn from the training role. Italy had planned to introduce Leonardo’s M345 as the mount for the Frecce Tricolori that flies the Aermacchi MB339, but the transition has yet to take place due to the delayed introduction of the M345 into Italian service.
