First of all (thank you for the ask UwU)! Second of all: if ya look close enough she's murdering him with her eyes even in the introduction scene (basically giggling and twirling her hair when he basically compliments her being sharp, there's some weird things going on there) but that's not the point ahem.👹

To answer your question is to essentually think what that request would mean between them, because in the Dead Three dynamics it is, undoubtfully, about authority.

Orin wants to establish hers when she replaces Durge, she announces herself as Bhaal's representative with per se little claim beside the obvious "i've made the fool of them, so now you're stuck with me" and her murder prowess, and she would do essentually all that is needed to retain her Chosen of Bhaal position or better yet have some sort of leverage or dirty laundry against the person admired by her presumably dead bloodkin. So mocking him by shapeshifting and saying hurtful things like a teen seems pretty Orin-esque, fair.

But it's also about being petty little sister: wrangling out the memory of your sibling from everywhere, erasing their deeds and rewriting the history in your own manner. You'd be pissed to be constantly reminded how much better your bloodkin was, so having their shape would mean admitting incompetence in a way.

For Gortash, too, it is about power. Durge as his "nearest and dearest" in that context is a liability. Emotional at the very least. It's exactly an open wound one wouldn't want anyone to see, especially Gortash, who's all about maintaining public image and being untouchable in that sense. It's also about the admittance, downstepping to something below himself like asking, allowing Orin that leverage she so desperately desires, the power over himself. It's not what Black Hand of Bane would do.

Maybe he'd consider it like few times not in his right mind, if it strikes him really bad, but the thought of humiliating himself against Orin, who he thinks is beneath him, would sober him pretty much in an instant.

However Orin could've shapechanged unprompted, tryng to get a rise out of Gortash, that much is true, and he has to really keep his composure and wave her off/flatter/mock or outward lie to make her eventually lose interest in it.

So much for him to tolerate.

So, about the question.... My opinion on who does the best eyeliner?

First place: Camilla. I agree with you 100%! This woman is the best at everything and naturally has to look her best. And I think she does a great job with her makeup both with and without magic. She's the best at everything and no one can argue with that.

Second place: Alesia. I think sniper will displace Jadu from second place, because I've always thought she definitely uses eyeliner. That, and probably she uses lipstick. In general, Alesia doesn't really obsess over makeup, because she considers it a non-issue (Camilla definitely helps her with her eyeliner!).

Third place: Jadu. Because of his portrait in the game, I always thought he had black eyes. And I think that Jadu definitely also uses light makeup to hide imperfections on his face. It's hard to do it with your hands, but Jadu doesn't wear a hat and wizard's robe just for beauty. So with a snap of his fingers, he'll have good eyeliner!

Fourth place: Lance. I actually was thinking of putting Jadu and Lance in the same place because the situation is pretty much the same. Lance is gallant, and in the circle of mages and adventurers is a dandy, meaning he watches his clothes and look (my headcanon). His eyeliner is barely noticeable, but nevertheless serves well to emphasize his eyes and make them more expressive.

Fifth place: Isaac. Don't. Don't even try to give him eyeliner. He doesn't want to and won't do it. Isaac thinks that the only makeup on his face should be the blood of the monsters he's killed (I hope this doesn't sound weird in English, because I'm worried that I lost the idea in translation).

What if Bella was Fae and didn't know it? The parameters for this are broad, so let's just say shortly after Bella was born, Renée took a trip to Ireland and left Bella in a stroller by the woods. Bella gets switched with a changeling and Renée never finds out.

Assuming Bella makes it to Forks, how does Twilight go down? (Feel free to give Bella whatever powers you think she should have/shouldn't have.)

I mean, first off, even if we get to Twilight, things are going to be very different.

Bella Loves Forks

Forks, a rural town with relatively little iron and steel compared to large American cities, feels great for Bella who's in constant pain in places like Phoenix with her mother.

Renee really hates on Forks, and Bella wants to hate it for a long time, but good god it's like getting medication.

However, we'll say that Renee got weird on Bella liking Forks too much so Bella awkwardly stopped going because it was clear shit would go down at home if she kept going. Bella and Charlie's relationship becomes strained then non-existent because of this.

So she only ends up in Forks in 2005 but uh... very clearly jumps on the excuse to go. Oh, you're married, Renee? Well gee shucks I've got to go live in Forks now, byeeeee.

This is made awkward as Bella can't lie (even more so than in canon, she physically cannot lie) so she has to dance around the topic whenever Renee asks her why she wants to move.

Bella's in Forks Now

Bella's determined to be a normal teenager. She fucked up at her last school by being weird all the time, but now is her time to shine. She will be a normal person, with normal friends, and nobody will think she's strange!

Bella fucks this up by speaking in verse at lunch about getting drunk on wine under the full moon's light.

Well, she's hot enough that this doesn't matter to the guys and Jessica... stares a bit but goes with it. So Bella's a huge nerd, she can date Eric and they can go to Comicon together dressed as hobbits or whatever.

Across the lunchroom, the Cullens stare and ask for dirt on the new girl. As before, Edward finds her overrated but finds he can't read her thoughts. He concludes she's uppity and has a desperate need for attention based on her constantly talking in verse.

They get to Biology where...

Edward doesn't smell the smell. Bella's one of the fair folk now, she's not human, she's going to smell weird but not delicious. Edward gives her a very funny look and concludes, eventually, she's not like Ephraim was (as Edward also thinks the shifter line died out).

He and Bella spend the lecture giving each other the side eye. Bella's spidey senses are tingling with this one and she tries to ignore it because nothing good comes from her spidey senses, it always leads to weird.

She decides it's just because he's hot and she must like him.

Yes.

That's what normal girls do.

Bella is a normal girl.

And Then?

See, the thing is, I doubt Bella can or will drive because too much fashioned metal. Bella tells Charlie, for reasons she will not explain, that she must walk to school. Charlie at this point doesn't question this, Bella's hated cars since birth.

As a result, she does not nearly get crushed by Tylor's van and is not carted off to the hospital where Carlisle would certainly no she's not human.

So, nothing happens.

Bella and Edward sit next to each other, but he just thinks she's weird and boring. Bella, for her own part, continues to tell herself she's hopelessly in love with Edward Cullen (because look how hot he is) and that these aren't the spidey sense tingles.

Weird stuff happens, I imagine, like Bella accidentally turning things into trees, being unable to cross lines of salt, being unable to cross running water, but everyone ignores this as the Cullens don't care and everyone else is too weirded out.

Twilight never happens.
