Sonic the Hedgehog movies AU where the times Knuckles and Sonic respectively arrive on Earth are reversed. Five-year-old Knuckles, searching his village for useful supplies after realizing that nobody is coming back, discovers the distant planet Earth marked as important on a map of likely locations the Owl Tribe may have hidden the Master Emerald. With nothing left for him in his homeland, he takes his father’s bag of portal rings and steps through. He is taken in by the Wachowskis first. Four-year-old Sonic meanwhile grows up alone, travels the galaxy and initially appears as an antagonist.
Right now I can think of two main plot divergences beyond that. Firstly, complicated but interesting: Knuckles doesn’t stay hidden, as he’s trying to find the Master Emerald and also with his code can’t resist rushing in to help when sees Tom in need, so he gets unofficially adopted practically right off the bat. He then grows up the best kept secret of Green Hills. His parents adore him, but he’s still kinda an outcast from the rest of human society, because he’s just so different and potentially dangerous - he struggles to take the necessary care with his strength and suffers from the same loss of control of his Chaos energy when deeply upset that canon Sonic used to. The townspeople see that he’s a good kid and they can’t speak ill of their upstanding sheriff and vet, but they don’t exactly trust Knuckles either. Not feeling like he’ll ever fully belong, afraid of causing more damage and not having processed his grief for his birth father and people and everything he knew before nearly enough, he develops strong tendencies to isolate himself and bottle things up in shame. And, oh yes, he still hasn’t completed his mission to retrieve and protect the incredibly powerful most sacred object to his lost culture. He fears that at this rate he never will. He feels very guilty about all of this.
Repairing his strained relationships with Tom and Maddie is a key part of his arc in the first movie, alongside learning to accept, forgive, trust and be kinder to himself. He ultimately decides that the Master Emerald is evidently safe enough for now and his mission can wait until he’s older and wiser. His current focus shall instead be being a normal teenager who Has Fun and Likes Himself.
Secondly, Sonic’s antivillain personality would not be a dutiful, honourable warrior genuinely believing he’s in the right. No. How does his literal theme song go again? “Long as the voice inside drives me to run and fight/It doesn’t matter who is wrong and who is right”. This Sonic, pre-second movie, is a cynical, untethered pragmatist who cares only about his own survival, benefit and freedom; a notorious thief and swindler sly and swift enough to get away with anything. They call him the Blue Devil. Where Knuckles had an excessive sense of responsibility, Sonic has all but suppressed his. The only person who mattered was Longclaw and she’s gone. What’s the point of getting attached to other people? They’ll all leave too. But that won’t need to hurt him - he won’t hurt them - if he follows his mother’s advice and never stops running. Yes, deep down he blames himself for Longclaw’s death. He has better social skills than Knuckles, but not his principles. Is Robotnik mean and shady? Absolutely. Is that Sonic’s problem, when he’s confident that he can either stay on the doctor’s good side or outrun his bad one? Nope! Getting to kick an echidna in the nuts with super speed is a nice bonus.
But beneath that arrogant, apathetic facade he does have a conscience. His character development starts with it slowly dawning on him how much worse than him Robotnik and big of a deal the Master Emerald are and he begins to take the stakes seriously. If Robotnik wins, innocent people will die. This entire (admittedly very beautiful) planet could be in danger. None of his crimes have risked going this far before. Does he really want to be an accessory to the rise of an actual tyrant and supervillain who wants to murder a teenager? So he begins to hesitate about aiding Robotnik. Next Knuckles notices that they’re about the same age and empathizes with him, knowing from the previous film what it’s like to be a traumatized, terrified, self-loathing fifteen-year-old in over your head; that they lost everything on the same day just draws more attention to their similarities. Tails curtails that conversation, but it remains the first taste of empathy and connection Sonic’s had since he was four. That’s pretty enticing. He saves Knuckles’s life to not be in his debt (ostensibly at least), and the rest is history.
Knuckles’s arc in the second movie is learning what it really means to be a hero and leader, after idealizing the concepts - and his parents, who are his heroes - his whole life. He’s internalized that he’s a kid and is allowed to make mistakes, but can’t reconcile that with now being responsible for an innocent and younger friend, Tails, and having to complete his Heroic Quest for the Chaos Emerald much sooner than anticipated. Surely a Hero has to be perfect and a leader has always know what to do. His birth father seemed that way, after all. When his moment comes, he can’t afford to fail. Learning that his beloved dad, and generally the echidnas, were responsible for Longclaw’s death and Sonic’s trauma shatters that idea. He eventually resolves that he can be a hero and his imperfect self simultaneously and his team are his equals and able to cover his weaknesses.
Also, Knuckles still speaks the same while Sonic absorbs modern slang and speech patterns like a sponge. This is crucial. When Knuckles calls his parents Mum and Dad at the end of the first movie instead of Mother and Father, it’s a huge affirmation of intimacy.
Now I just need a name for this AU. Any ideas?

Keith stares.
Constantly.
He always has. Even at the Garrison, Lance can remember him just staring. Endlessly. Like he was looking right through you, or like he was staring straight into your soul. Sometimes both at once. He’d never spoken one word to Lance before they went to space, but Lance remembers that stare with complete clarity. (Probably because he was on the other end of it more than he’s willing to admit, with all his attempts to get Keith’s attention.)
The staring doesn’t stop when they get to space. It doesn’t stop when they accept their roles as teammates, when Keith finally starts participating in their (totally justified!) rivalry, when they begrudgingly decide that maybe they can peel back on the arguing, a little. When they realise how well they work together. When they start working together on purpose, and some of those stares come with a small smile, a quirk of the lips, really, that brightens indigo eyes and shows the tiniest peek of crooked incisors. (When tragedy strikes, and the stare is blank. After tragedy, when the stare only gets blanker, and they don’t talk about what happens next but when Lance comes into his room after days of no response, sits with him quietly, brushes the tangles out of his hair and reminds him there are still reasons for him to get up. When they really become a team, just the two of them, red and black and the leader and his right hand.)
When the stares only gets softer and softer, and when Lance is the subject of them more and more frequently.
“What?” Lance snaps one day, frustrated and embarrassed and tired of being the only one that Keith looks at so closely. “What are you even looking at? You’re always staring at me, man, like you’re trying to fuckin’ read my soul, or something. It’s weird.”
Lance feels bad as soon as he says it. It’s defensive and mean and he tenses, preparing for Keith’s upcoming scowl, the argument.
But it doesn’t come.
Instead Keith smiles. Not one of his quick ones, a barely-there quirk of the lips, but a real grin, wide enough to make his eyes squint and face brighten. The fondness bleeds from him; Lance couldn’t miss it if he was the densest person alive.
Slowly, like he’s given Lance time to back away, he reaches foreword and tucks Lance’s hair behind his ears, even though it’s too short for that and doesn’t do anything, even though it’s clearly all about the gesture, an excuse to touch Lance gently.
Lance’s breath stutters on his inhale. Keith doesn’t pull away, resting his hand on the side of Lance’s cheek, not quite cupping it but not quite not cupping it, either.
“God, I’m so lucky,” Keith murmurs, almost too quiet for Lance to hear. (But no. Not impossible. Keith could’ve said it at one decibel and Lance would have strained himself to injury trying to hear it.)
“What?” Lance asks hoarsely, well aware his face is flaming.
Keith only smiles wider. “How could I not stare at you?” he asks, like Lance isn’t losing his whole mind.
Lance clears his throat. Then again, and again. And a fourth and fifth time for good measure because what the fuck.
“Keith, what — what’s going on —”
“I am so lucky,” Keith repeats, firmer this time. He has the same stupid look on his face, like he cannot help but he besotted with Lance, somehow. He opens his mouth again and Lance knows that if he has to hear whatever mushy thing Keith has cooked up then he is going to melt into a puddle of flaming goo. Lance shoots out and slaps his hand over Keith’s mouth.
“Stop speaking,” he orders, face flaming. “Explain what the hell has gotten into you.”
“Those are opposite instructions,” Keith says, muffled, because he is a jerk. His eyes are sparkling in amusement.
“I am going to whoop your ass, Kogane.”
“Fine, fine.” He pulls Lance’s hand off his face and then links it in his, holding them in his lap. He rubs his thumb over Lance’s knuckles as he speaks. “You remember the mall food court? Two days ago?”
Lance tilts his head. “Yeah?” He doesn’t know what the hell that has to do with anything. They had a supply run a couple days ago, loading up on cleaning mods and food supplies and million other things, and he and Keith had stopped for lunch at the food court slash restaurant.
“You, uh, you remember that waiter?”
Lance frowns, trying to picture a waiter. All he can really remember is how Keith had laughed so hard at one of his jokes that soda had spewed out of his nose. He feels bad, but he can’t picture their waiter at all.
“No?”
Keith scowls. It’s such a stark difference from his sappy look before that it’s startling. “That weirdo, stuck up shithead who wouldn’t leave you alone. He called you pretty boy three separate times.”
Vaguely, Lance remembers some light flirting as the waiter set down the cheque. He can’t even picture the guy’s face.
“I mean, not really. I get called pretty boy a lot.”
He hadn’t meant it as a joke, but it makes Keith laugh. He looks relieved, like he’s been worrying about Lance and the waiter.
Like he’d been jealous.
The sappy look is back on his face. “Just made me think, is all.”
Lance’s throat is dry again. The air is charged, and Keith is staring again, eyes tracing every inch of Lance’s face.
Something is going to change tonight. He can feel it.
“Think about what?”
He’s leaned closer without realising. Keith smiles, noticing, and his hand comes back up to Lance’s cheek. This time he cups it blatantly, running the edge of a calloused thumb over Lance’s cheekbones.
“How lucky I am,” he murmurs, repeating his sentiment from earlier, “that we’ve got such a pretty boy on our team. On my team.”
Lance face flames. His first instinct is to deny it, vehemently, to ask Keith what the hell his deal is. Something ugly rears in his head, something hurt — how dare Keith make fun of him like that. How dare he mess with Lance about something he’s sensitive about.
But there’s not an ounce of meanness on Keith’s face. He’s looking at Lance in a way that can only be reverent, like Lance is the only person on the castle, the only person ever.
He remembers all of a sudden that Keith is the most honest person he knows. Keith, who can’t lie if he tries, who’s emotions are written all over his face all the time, who’s easy to rile up because he wears his heart on his sleeve, who puts every ounce of effort he has into everything he does. Who fights this war even though it’s hard for him because he loves everyone so much.
Lance blinks, and is more surprised than he should be to find his face wet. Keith’s face creases a little in concern, and he gently wipes the tears from Lance’s cheek.
“What’s wrong?”
Lance laughs wetly, more incredulous than anything.
“Mullet, if you don’t kiss me right this fucking second —”
Keith laughs. He doesn’t hesitate a second more, leaning in and pressing his lips to Lance’s, gently at first, then like he can’t get enough.
His eyes are closed, as he kisses.
Lance almost misses the staring.

*sfw twt link; seunghun thirsting* can u tell me what seunghun is like as ur office boss? we need more bossy seunghun imagines floating out there plss <3
Okay, let’s talk.
Seunghun as your boss would be very demanding and straightforward. Sometimes harsh, but always fair. He only does and says the things he does because he expects a lot from his employees—especially from you, his protégé.
He’s not even the CEO—just your team leader, but people could easily mistake him for being the big boss. The way he carries himself gives off mad self-made millionaire vibes, and the way he adjusts his glasses and tie gives him that ‘I know I’m sexy, but we’re at work, so let’s keep it professional’ energy.
He’ll look over your shoulder while you’re working on a report, his tie folded into his breast pocket and his sleeves rolled up to his forearms. His hair is perfectly quaffed and he smells like sandalwood and cucumbers.
He’s not trying to let his arms cage you against your desk, but it just ends up happening that way. He’ll tsk if he sees something he doesn’t like. “Everything’s good, except this part,” he says, folding a finger so his knuckle taps against the screen for emphasis.
“You’ll fix it, yeah?” And with that, he walks away, not knowing the effect he has on you. He doesn’t bother explaining what the problem is because he knows you’re smart enough to figure it out.
He may seem curt and all-business to the outside eye, but in reality, he has a lot of faith in his employees. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t have taken them on in the first place. His team only includes the best of the best, and he firmly believes in that.
When a mistake is made, he goes dead silent. That’s how you know you really screwed up. He’ll look at whoever the perpetrator is with cold eyes, sucking in a deep breath through his nose as he stares them down.
“Since when have you been so lackadaisical?” he’d ask, voice deathly calm. “I expect so much better from you. This is your mess, so I expect you to clean it up.” He resembles a scolding parent, in a way, his fingers coming up briefly to pinch the bridge of his nose. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a lot of paperwork to take care of.”
And for some reason, those words are so cutting, because you know he’s inferring that’s because of you. He’s a demanding boss, but a good one, so knowing that you’re adding to his late nights and sore wrists is actually hurtful.
And he knows this fact. He doesn’t like to think of it as manipulation, but in his heart of hearts he knows it is. Yet he doesn’t regret the way he handles things. His objective is to get the job done, and do it well.
He uses the rapport he has with his team to encourage them onwards. He also tries to have team dinners at least once a month. When he starts drinking is when you actually realize what a cute person he is, and how much he actually cares for his team, despite the hard, no-nonsense exterior.
Swaying side to side with red cheeks and tiny hiccups, he’ll comfort you. “It’s okay,” he says, giggly and slurring, patting your back as he speaks. “Mistakes happen! You’re only human. But in our team, you’re a very special human. You play an important role, so you can’t be so careless. Understood?”
And he has the prettiest, goofiest smile on while he says that—his tie undone and a few buttons unfurled. His hair is messier than usual and his glasses hang from his breast pocket.
What a handsome boss you have.
The only moment he really strays from his usual antics is when there’s a level of competition in your work. If you’re competing with another team as far as monthly performance goes, he gets more fired up than usual.
He genuinely desires to be the best, and he’s got a strong sense of pride. He doesn’t like to feel beaten.
On average, he expects his team to be self-sufficient and come to him for the big stuff, but when he’s in one of his zones, he’s all up in everyone’s business.
Not in a micro-managing way, but he definitely says his piece and lets everyone know exactly how he wants it done. “It’s nonnegotiable,” he says. “We do it this way, or not at all. Get it done.”
It’s always kind of a shock to see him in these moods, but not an unpleasant one. It’s interesting to see your usually calm and collected boss card frustrated fingers through his hair or swear under his breath when he sees a deadline isn’t being met.
You also can’t help but think something changes in the way he looks at you. With his emotional side on the up-and-up, something darker and more intense glitters within his pretty brown orbs as he orders you around.
But you try not to get your hopes up. He’s your boss, after all.
Just your boss.

| Muse Interaction
Raph fell back on to his bed a moment heavily sigh leaving him as he let his beak hang a little and pout. There was a lot of after math to deal with and maybe Raph was making a bigger deal out of all this stuff then he should or needed to but like was it him overthinking about it all? He had some damage to his eye over all it was fine but sometimes his vision would blur and he near lost his sight. Leo said over all he was fine Donnie also seconded on that statement. Leo just instructed that he used some eye drops to help when ever the vision issues begin. After about two weeks he would still need the drops just need to do them once a day. Seemed like something he was going to add to his daily routine. Not to mention the other uh well thing going on. Casey.
Raph had been a tad curious why they didn't make any mention about him like he had the others. Leo was his master, and teacher it seemed. He also held Mikey and Donnie in some high regard. Seemed Raph died pretty early on in the war timeline? world? or whatever Casey came from to warn them. That wasn't what was getting to him he sort of wish it did seeing how he likely could have died when he saved Leo. Taking a hit for one of his brothers never put fear in him though. One of them getting hurt? no that put fear into him and he always acted on that fear by acting like some sort of shield. No it was the fact he had a son? Look that didn't bother him it didn't it's just kind of odd to suddenly find you have this kid who looks to you for well like everything? He sighed again.
Tumblr media
"Von I need you I dunno what to do 'bout all this." As if her ears were burning he heard the ringtone for his girlfriend go off suddenly. He fished it out and answered right away. "Hey." Maybe it was the tone in his voice but she seemed to catch on something was wrong. That did bring a smile to his beak. He couldn't really voice all that was going on in his head to anyone else lately. He didn't want Casey to get the wrong idea he was still finding his foot with them. His brothers? maybe but ehh he was still adjusting to not being the leader anymore. He felt like they all were still working on that. "I just got a lot on my head, heh for once ya know? My brain isn' used to thoughts." it was meant as a joke. So she offer the usual cure for when he needed a break, to hide away with her.
Tumblr media
---
Yvoones place was always a nice little safe havean for him. Mostly because Yvonne was someone he could openly speak with, it was a major part of the friendship that bloomed into a crush on her. And she still offered that to him even now. It was just nice to have one thing in hus life. Just stay the same.
Large green fringers easily held around one of her small, slender hands as he stroked over the back of her knuckles.
"Its just I dunno I feel bad Von. 'Ike I'm just meant to be just adjusting to everything and be fine with how things are. It's just a lot at once. With Leo finally being serious about his role that's sloved but...where dose that leave me now on the team? And then there's the whole casey thing? I know that look on his face. It's how I looked at pop's as a kid, or Lou Jitsu before learning that was also my pop I mean course." He grinds his teeth a little chewing over his thoughts and worries. Soon sighing as he slumps back on the couch a moment. "Maybe I just need a break? Can I hide with you for a bit?" He asks he knows he never has to ask her that it was more out of courtesy that he was.
❛ we can order pizza, watch a movie, whatever you want. ❜
He smiled softly and nodded as if she could see that needing to shake his head sitting up now. "Ya know yeah I think that be good Von. You pick the movie and I'll go up to run of the mill on my way over. Theres portals near Hueso's place won't take long? " Bright smile on his beak as he push against the mattress and sprung up to his feet quick to get out of the lair before anyone noticed he was leaving.
Raph getting up to his feet nit fully letting go of her hand. There was a fear he hadn't asked about yet but knowing what he did about Casey? What happened to Yvoone? It was always in his mind but he was worried about that answer. He doubts a break up happened. Knows damn well he never would cheated on her. Ya sperm donation is a thing but would that be what happened? He's not sure he just knows deep down Yvoone one of many deaths wasn't she?
In part it had a lot todo with his struggles with Casey as well. He wants to be there for Vasey 100% but is that him turning his back on Yvoone? With a lot of his other concerns and worries worked out he now could see this one that's been buried deep in the back of his mind. Slowly he works his fingers to let go of her. Raoh didn't know what laws timeliness held. They fixed the future he knows that but also? Dose the mean somethings never happen or will they still happen in different ways?
"I'll be back!" Leaning down to press his beak to the her forehead to place a quick peck to her.
Will Raph still lose you?
Was his thought. It's a silly and dumb worry in part he knows he just overwhelming himself a little at best. But that worry is there seeded in him. If he choose Yvoone is that turning his back on his son? Maybe? Maybe they liked to meet each other? It was like a light blue appeared over his head a moment. That might help! But pizza and movie first he can work thst out next

So Yang, when you and your little brother are alone in the dorm, how long does it take for you to grab a nice handful of that fat boi booty~? A simple question, sure, but I'm more curious how many times your girlfriend has walked in on you on top of Ruby under the blankets while you're both sweating and panting~
I mean, we all know brothers like to roughhouse and wrestle right~?
“Alright you guys, Weiss and I should only be a couple hours for our weekly drink, so you two have fun.” Blake smiled and gave a small wave to the siblings before shutting the door to the room. The two brothers waved her off.
SMACK “Yaaang,” Ruby squealed at the impact of his brother's hand on his ass. Yang’s hard hand sinking into the fat meat of Ruby’s ass. “Can’t you wait at least 5 seconds for Blake to leave!” “Mmm, no can do little bro,” Yang grabbed Ruby by both of his cheeks and pulled him into his chest. His hands, squeezing and pulling at his squishy booty, forcing moans out the boi. “You know I can’t resist this massive, fucking ass when I’m alone with it. Besides, I know you love it.”
Yang suddenly forced his tongue down Ruby’s throat, the boi eagerly sucking down his big brother’s tongue. Ruby moaned and whimpered at their sloppy make out, saliva dripping down their mouths. Yang lifted the boi up by both his cheeks and carried him over to Blake’s bed. Yang tossed him, and Ruby hit the bed face first with a soft thud. He gasped as Yang followed beside him pressing Ruby’s head into the mattress in, his other hand grasped and massaged one of Ruby’s thicc cheeks.
“You wouldn’t be wearing these tight yoga pants if you weren’t looking to be fucked tonight,” Yang growled with a harsh spank to his brother’s ass. He pulled Ruby back up by the hair, the boi panting, his face red from embarrassment at what Yang said. Ruby braced himself with his arms looking needy back at Yang. He began shaking his ass, bouncing his fat boi booty for his big brother in the hopes of getting a good hard fuck. Yang wasn’t wrong. Ruby needed his brother’s fat dick in his ass.
Yang positioned himself behind the cute redhead, both hands pressing into the fabric of the boi’s clothes,, before tearing into it with ease. The cloth rippled wide exposing all of Ruby’s pale flesh. Yang pressed his middle finger into Ruby’s ring asshole eliciting a moan from the boi. He sank his finger as deep as he could get, his brother’s ass bouncing and surrounding his entire hand. It’s grip is so tight on him that he has to yank his hand free. Ruby was a little sad. Yang fished out his hard erection and slapped it between Ruby’s creamy smooth globes. Ruby got excited at the impact of Yang’s dick hitting his ass. He fell forward with his face back on the mattress as he reached back with both hands to wedge the fat fuckstick further between his cheeks. His ass wrapped around his big brother's cock smothering it. His little boi penis dripping onto the bed as he twerked his fat globes of flesh for Yang.
“Mmm, see a little slut like you just can’t resist this cock huh,” Yang smirked. He settled one hand on Ruby’s head holding him down, as he pressed his dick into the winking bud in front of him. Ruby’s hands tensed in the fabric at feeling Yang’s thick head push inside him. He began to squeal, muffled by the bed, as Yang slowly, painfully slipped inside him. No matter how many times or how long Yang hollowed out Ruby’s tight boipussy, it always managed to keep its tightness.  Yang hissed as dick was enveloped by the hot little hole and fought to get each inch inside. He held on tightly until he worked every single inch of his fat meat inside of him. His body let out a groan when he finally did. Yang ground his hips into Ruby, savoring the feeling of his dick wrapped wrapped up in the warm flesh. “See this is what I need! A nice piece of ass I can have served at my beck and call to sink this dick into,” Yang snarled before starting to thrust into the boi. Ruby squeaked as Yang kept him pinned down with both his hand and brutal thrusts. Yang’s other hand holding on to his wide hips trying to hold on as he gave it to his sissy brother. It proved to not be enough for him as he released his grip on Ruby’s head, and grabbed both sides with his hands. Yang pulled himself into Ruby harder with a loud smack of their hips together. Blake’s bed creaking from the hard  impact of their bodies together. Yang’s leg came up, pressing Ruby’s head further into Blake’s mattress. Ruby drooled into the bed at the new found pressure and angle as Yang’s beastial fucking laid waste to him. His balls slapping against Ruby’s pathetic sack, forcing more of his feminine spurt out of him. “Damn, you’re such a whore Ruby. I haven’t even fucked Blake in this bed yet, and you're here taking every inch,” Yang ground his foot a little in Ruby’s head as he spoke. Ruby both loved and hated every time Yang brought up Blake. On one hand he just wanted Yang to fuck him, on the other, god did it turn him on to be put degraded by his brother. He blamed the years of anal training before coming to Beacon. Yang’s cock dug deep, causing Ruby to see stars from the pain and the pleasure of being reamed out. He could do very little from his position. Yang had almost complete control over his entire body. It took everything Ruby had to throw his ass back into his handsome big bro. Suddenly Yang’s foot let up on his head and he was free to sit up. Yang slipped his cock free of Ruby’s ass, and grabbed Ruby by the head, tossing him face first towards the foot of the bed. Yang repositioned himself over Ruby who lay flat on the bed. Yang wrapped an arm around Ruby’s smooth skinny neck, choking the boi and locking him in a headlock before slamming back into his brother. Ruby’s moaning quieted somewhat by the tight grip on his neck as Yang’s hips really slapped down into his thick globes of pure fuckmeat. Ruby’s hands clung onto the edge of the bed, his knuckles white from how hard he was gripping it. Yang bit Ruby’s ear while he clung tight to him. Yang fucking his brother like he was his property like his own personal stress toy. Ruby squealed every moment of Yang’s brutal fucking. The constant smacking of their incestuous, gay fucking getting louder and louder as Yang thrusts grew harsher and faster with every second. Ruby started to cum with every thrust into his poor abused boi pussy. His mind clouded by the constant orgasms until abruptly they were brought out of their fuck session. The door to their dorm unlocked and terror filled the siblings. Yang acted quickly tossing the blanket on the bed over their bodies with his free arm. Yang stared down the door as he kept his brother tight in the headlock, and watched as his girlfriend walked in the door. “Oh hey guys, I forgot my purse. Can’t pay for my drink if I don’t have it, and no I’m not going to make Weiss pay for it Yang,” Blake smiled at them as she grabbed her purse pausing at the sight of the two of them. Blake’s face grew more serious for a moment. “Yang, let up on him will you? Ruby is red in the face, just look at him,” Blake leaned down looking Ruby in the face. Ruby’s eyes were shut tight, and he was biting his lip struggling not to let a slutty moan escape his body. His brother’s arm tightened around his neck at the statement. “He’s fine, babe. He loves it when I do this. We’ve been doing this for years,” Yang reeled back, and delivered a sharp thrust into the boi, making his eyes go wide in front of Blake. “If you say so,” Blake stood back up straight and walked around the bed, “Well, I’ll leave you to your wrestling, don’t be too rough on him, okay Yang,” Blake said, kissing Yang on the cheek before leaving once again. Yang’s grip around Ruby’s neck released, and he grabbed his brother by his soft, smooth shoulders. With everything he had he gave one final thrust into Ruby, emptying his viscous load into his sissy little brother. Ruby screamed loud, unable to restrain himself anymore. Every muscle in his body and face relaxed, his eyes drooping, his breathing heavy, and his tongue hanging out of his mouth as he drooled at the edge of the bed. He squirted numerous times in that one moment. So much so, he felt like he was gonna die riding on the pleasure of having Yang’s fat cock inside of him with Blake right in front of him. Yang tossed the blanket off their bodies flipping Ruby around on his back, the boi breathing heavily recovering from the string of orgasms. Yang crawled on top of the boi. His knees pinning Ruby’s arms down on both sides as he slapped his dick across his sissy brother’s face. Left over cum splattering across his pretty little face.
“Open Ruby, I know you want more.” Yang commanded. Ruby always got hot and bothered when his brother demanded he did something. He may have been team leader, but Yang being in control was down right sexy.
“Yes Daddy, feed your little sissy more cum please. Fuck my pretty face, dump another load wasted on me and not your girlfriend!” Ruby opened wide, ready to receive the facefucking a man stealing bitch like him deserved. Yang’s cock slid up and down Ruby’s tongue before sinking it into his warm mouth. Yang used the foot of the bed to hold onto as he slammed down into him. Ruby was trapped underneath the weight of his brother, unable and unwilling to push him off.  His legs kicked as his brother forced him to choke down his huge dick.
The sloppy mess of his saliva and Yang’s cum falling on his face. His throat slime coating Yang’s dick and strands of it following his brother's fat fuckstick every time Yang pulled out of Ruby’s mouth. Every thrust building more of it on his face. It filled the boi’s nose and covered the boi’s eyes, hindering his ability to see. Not that there would be much to see beside Yang’s abs inches away from his face or watching his brother's massive cock fill his mouth.
Ruby could feel the mess of Yang’s curly blonde pubes getting caught in his mouth as his throat was struggling to swallow every inch of Yang’s cock.  His heart pounding as hard at the beating his face was getting from Yang’s forceful fucking on his face. Ruby felt himself squirting up and on himself, as Yang slammed down into him. All of his senses were overloaded with only Yang in his mind. Yang forced every inch down Ruby’s throat before cumming hard. Ruby couldn't swallow it all from the position and started to cough it up. When Yang pulled out of Ruby’s mouth a waterfall of cum poured all over the boi’s face, painting it all white. Ruby groaned and rolled over coughing up the cum, gasping for breath. He felt Yang pick him up with one arm and toss him over to the other side of the room. “We have time. Might as well and fuck you on Weiss’ bed too right?” Ruby squealed as Yang pulled Ruby’s legs up and to his head, before immediately slamming into his brother. They couldn’t waste any time.

‘You free this weekend?’ you read the text off of your phone. You groggily glance at the time, which read 3:33 AM.
‘Depends.’ you respond back to Kuroo.  Two and a half weeks had passed since the last job he worked, meaning it had been two and half weeks since you had seen him and discussed your suspicions about your father.
‘Friend of mine is throwing a party. Karasuno Killers are gonna be there.’ Kuroo replies. Your pulse quickens, remembering the conversation you and Kuroo had about your brother and his racing team.
‘I’ll be there.’ you pause before hitting send, questioning if the action you were tempted to make was a good idea. ‘Are you free rn?’ you type, pressing send and locking your phone, setting it down next to you as you stared up at the ceiling. Your heart raced at even the thought of Kuroo, of the idea of being in his presence alone again.
Your phone lit up seconds later. ‘Be there in 15.’ You can feel yourself blushing, and you can’t stop the grin that spread across your face.
You practically jump out of bed, changing into something casual. A flash of red catches your eye, and you grab Kuroo’s jacket, draping it over your shoulders. You sit back down in bed, impatiently waiting for Kuroo to text you.
After what felt like an eternity, you finally got a text from him. ‘Here princess.’ You smirk at the use of the nickname, you were starting to get used to hearing him call you princess, and you couldn’t deny the fact that you liked it.
Moving quietly through the house, you quickly peer over to your father’s office to see if the lights were on. Long work nights were common with him, the only downside being that the computer with access to the security cameras was in that office. Lucky for you, he seemed to be asleep upstairs, so that was one less thing to worry about.
“Hey there.” Kuroo’s deep voice practically echoed through the quiet night, and you quickly shush him as you lock the front door. He laughs, holding the car door open for you. He shuts it behind you and goes around to his side, climbing in and starting the car.
“So, where to?” He asks, turning to you, his elbow resting against the center console, a huge grin spread across his face.
“Anywhere.” You say, anxious to get away from your house, away from your father. It gave you chills thinking about your brother and the connections that were beginning to form, with your father only a few feet away at times. You tried your hardest to act as normal as possible around him, but you knew that eventually he would catch on to your sudden change in behavior.
“Are you hungry?” Kuroo asks, pulling out his phone and unlocking it. You take a peek at his lock screen, and see a photo of a black cat staring back at you.
You shrug. “I could eat.” You say, causing Kuroo to chuckle.
“I know the perfect place.” He says, calling someone. “Hey Haiba, you guys still open?” He pauses as the person named Haiba responds. “Perfect. I’ll be there in 20. Save a table for two.” He pauses yet again. “No you ass, not for Kenma. I’m bringing a girl.” He says, hanging up the phone.
You laugh at the interaction between them, looking over at Kuroo as he pulls out of the driveway and through the neighborhood. Kuroo glances over at you, smirking when he realizes you were already looking. You quickly look away, staring ahead intensely.
“You look cute in my jacket.” He says.
“Does that mean I get to keep it?” You ask playfully, smiling sweetly at him. He laughs, a big grin on his face.
“I’ll tell you what. You can keep it, but I will need to borrow it from time to time for races. Fair?” He says, holding a hand out for you to shake as he keeps the other on the wheel.
“Sounds good to me.” You say, grabbing his hand and shaking it. Your fingers graze over the callouses and scars on his knuckles, and you turn his hand over to examine them.
“Just some work related injuries.” He jokes, squeezing your hand.
“These are from working for my dad?” You ask, your voice quiet, almost out of shame.
“Yeah.” He responds. You couldn’t hide the painful expression on your face and Kuroo quickly took notice of it. “Nothing to worry about though, princess. I’m tougher than I look, I promise.” He says, winking. Kuroo brings your hand to his lips, placing a soft kiss, making your heart skip a beat and your cheeks glow red.
He lets go of your hand to switch gears as you enter the city. There are no shops that appear to be open and no one on the street. Kuroo slows down, pulling into a parking lot.
“It doesn’t look like anything’s open.” You state as Kuroo gets out of the car.
“Looks can be deceiving.” He says, shutting his car door. You let yourself out, closing the door behind you and turning towards him. He takes your hand and leads you to a small shop with a sign that reads “Haiba Ramen”. From the outside it had looked as though it was closed, but as soon as Kuroo swung the door open, you realized it was anything but.
There were plenty of people in there, almost all of them wearing racing jackets of different colors, the style similar to Kuroo’s. The smell of ramen was strong and welcoming, your hunger growing as you entered the shop.
“DK!” You hear someone call out. The patrons of the ramen shop all turn their heads to look at the both of you, and you were met by a chorus of greetings.
“Someone’s popular.” You quietly comment to him as he leads you to a table away from the crowds.
“Haiba’s part of Nekoma Crew, part time mechanic, part time ramen shop owner. He’s better at cooking than fixing cars though.” Kuroo motions towards the other patrons in the shop. “These are all racers. The store is closed to the public at 10, but stays open for friends and racers until 5. Me and the team usually have our meetings and get togethers here.”
“Well who else would let you fuckers in this late at night?” A tall guy with silver hair says, placing two waters on the table. Kuroo gets up to greet him.
“We’re eternally grateful Lev.” Kuroo jokes, giving Lev a half hug. Lev rolls his eyes as Kuroo sits back down.
“Hi.” You say shyly, giving a small wave to Lev, who smiled down at you.
“You must be…(y/n).” Lev says holding a hand out for you to shake.
You scrunch your eyebrows together, shaking his hand. “Uh, how do you know my name?” You ask skeptically, curious as to how he already knew you.
“DK won’t stop talking about you at the shop. Sometimes it’s like he can’t shut up about you.” Lev smirks, looking over at Kuroo. You look at Kuroo with a face of fake shock, grinning from ear to ear. You see his ears growing red as he avoids your gaze.
“Your tip is rapidly decreasing the longer this conversation goes on for.” Kuroo says, making you laugh. Lev scoffs, mockingly putting his hands up.
“Alright, alright. I wouldn’t want to third wheel on your date any longer anyways. Now, what would you two love birds like to eat?”
Kuroo sighs, putting his face in his hands in distress. The entire exchange made you laugh, getting to see Kuroo as a normal guy instead of a mob henchman was refreshing. Friends, not colleagues. Race cars, not drugs. Not to mention, it gives you butterflies thinking about the fact he talks about you to his crew.
“Surprise me.” You say, catching Lev’s attention. “Make me whatever you think I’d like. Or whatever you feel like making. I promise I’ll eat anything.” Lev grins brightly, turning towards Kuroo.
“I like her. Don’t screw this up!” Lev calls out to Kuroo as he walks away to the kitchen to start on whatever it was he would choose to serve you.
“So you talk about me, huh?” You say, smirking at Kuroo.
“Maybe.” He says, cheekily grinning at you. “You don’t talk about me to your friends?”
“I...don’t have friends.” You say, shrugging. “In case you haven’t noticed, I don’t really leave the house much.”
“You don’t have any friends?” Kuroo asks, a puzzled expression on his face.
“Nope.” You say, taking a sip of your water. “I mean, I had friends in high school. But I sort of drifted away from them after graduation and after my brother died.”
Kuroo nods, knowing that your brother’s death was a touchy topic. “Well, you have to have someone to talk to. Someone you consider a friend.” He says, diverting the conversation away from the dark and depressing stuff.
You thought to yourself for a second, trying to think of a person you found yourself spending time with and talking to, or even someone that you enjoy being around. “You.” You answer, smiling at Kuroo. “You’re kinda the only person I ever talk to.”
Kuroo smiles back at you, letting out a small chuckle. “I’m honored, princess.” Kuroo takes your hand in his, planting another gentle kiss on the top of your hand, making you blush.
“Are you usually up this late?” You ask, getting curious about Kuroo and his life away from you and your family.
He shrugs, rubbing small circles along your knuckles. “Some nights, if I have a job or if I’m working on something with Kenma. Tonight I just happened to get a text from a friend about the party this weekend, I thought it’d be a good way for you to get in contact with Karasuno.”
“Who’s party is it?”
“A good friend of mine, Kotarou Bokuto. He’s the leader of Fukurodani Squad, his racing name is Blackjack.” Kuroo answers.
“Is he…” You pause, wondering the best way to ask if Bokuto’s a criminal.
“No.” Kuroo says before you can finish your sentence. “He’s just a racer. Him and his crew are pretty well known internationally, so all his income comes from his shop. He’s...just a really good guy. Not a bad bone in his body.”
“Oh, so you do have normal friends.” You say sarcastically.
“Well, Fukurodani and Karasuno are the normal teams. They don’t do the shady stuff. Seijoh Brawlers and Nekoma Crew are pretty similar, since only me and Oikawa do the jobs. Kenma gets involved every once and awhile, but it's rare. Inarizaki though, they’re literally all drug dealers. Drug dealers who happen to also be racers.” Kuroo explains.
“That would explain why Kita doesn’t have a fancy jacket.” You say, remembering the plain black hoodie he wore the last time you saw him. “So it’s just you, Oikawa, and Kita doing the shady stuff?”
“Yeah, mainly just us. I promise not all racers are big bad guys.” Kuroo jokes to you.
“You’re not a bad guy.” You say, squeezing his hand gently. “You’re just...someone who works for a bad guy. Bad guy adjacent.” You smile at him, knowing that one of the things that held Kuroo back from pursuing anything with you was the fact he saw himself as the villain. The truth was, maybe the both of you were just bad guy adjacent — not necessarily the villains, but stuck being attached to the bad.
Kuroo gives you a sad smile, squeezing your hand back. “I guess that’s better than being the evil genius.” You knew exactly who he was talking about, who the evil genius was in this morbid epic that is your life. The mastermind, the puppeteer, the dark hand behind the curtain. Your father. It was a hard pill to swallow, but it was one that you had to, which you and Kuroo both knew. An unspoken acknowledgement of the fact that sooner or later, you would have to face your demons — that regardless of what, or who, they are — Kuroo would be right there beside you.
Your moment with Kuroo was interrupted by Lev, walking out of the kitchen carrying a plate and a bowl. “Bon appetit love birds.” He says, placing a bowl of ramen in front of Kuroo and a plate of chicken wings in front of you.
“Thanks Lev. Put it on the shop’s tab.” Kuroo says, digging into his ramen.
“Thanks Lev.” You say, smiling and picking up a chicken wing. It was still steaming, hot and fresh from the fryer.
“I hope you two enjoy. DK, you gonna be at Blackjack’s party this Saturday?” Lev asks, turning towards Kuroo.
“Yeah, we’ll be there. Do you know who the party’s for?” Kuroo asks, picking up a soft boiled egg from his ramen and eating it.
Lev shrugs, throwing a kitchen towel over his shoulder. “No clue. That guy just throws parties for the hell of it. I’ll see you both there!” He says, walking back towards the kitchen.
You take a bite of the chicken wing, and you instantly understand why Kuroo said he was a great cook. “Holy shit.” You say, looking over at Kuroo.
Kuroo peers over at you with a mouth full of noodles. “I know.” He says, mouth stuffed to the brim. He finishes chewing and wipes his mouth with a napkin. “A guy on my crew named Yamamoto always gets them. Same with Bokuto.”
“It seems like you know everyone in Tokyo.” You say, digging into your big plate of wings. Lev also left you a small bowl of rice as well as a cup of miso soup, which you also began digging into.
Kuroo laughs, picking up more noodles from his bowl. “If they race, I know them.”
“It also seems like everyone knows you.” You say, thinking back to when you first entered the shop, and all the greetings Kuroo was met with.
“Well, everyone kinda does. Y’know a title like Drift King isn’t just given to anyone.” He says, smirking at you. You roll your eyes at his arrogance.
“How lucky am I to be sharing a meal with the great Drift King.” You say jokingly. Kuroo places his chopsticks down, looking across the table at you.
“Is this not a date?” He asks seriously, eyebrows furrowed. You practically choke on your chicken, which you place down on the table. After wiping your hands on a napkin, you look at Kuroo, who was still staring at you intensely.
“Was it supposed to be?” You ask shyly, unsure if the miscommunication was on your end or his.
“Well, I kind of assumed, you asked if I was free. Now we’re eating a meal together. You never really fight it when people talk to us like a couple.” Kuroo says, fidgeting with his spoon that laid in the broth of his ramen.
You pause for a second, thinking over what he just said. You avert his gaze, staring into your miso soup which had begun to settle and separate. “Did you...want this to be a date?” You ask, looking up at him skeptically.
“I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to it being a date.” He answers carefully, but with a tone of confidence. “But, if you don’t want it to be, that’s fine.” He says quickly, trying to avoid a bad mood shift between the two of you.
You pondered again over what he said, and what it would mean for the two of you. Is a relationship the right thing to get into with everything going on? Would it even be appropriate for the two of you to be together?
“This is a date.” You say, your heart pounding away anxiously as you look into Kuroo’s hypnotizing hazel eyes. He grins proudly at you, all feelings of anxiety going away as soon as you confirmed that this was, in fact, a date. “But, it is just a date. It doesn’t mean anything...specific.”
He shrugs, picking his chopsticks up to continue eating. “That’s fair. No worries, princess. I’m in no rush here.”
You smile to yourself, content with the conclusion that you and Kuroo came to. “Thanks. I just don’t think I’m ready for anything serious right now. With everything going on with my dad.” You say, knowing that this was something Kuroo already knew.
“Yeah, I get it. Bigger fish to fry right now. It’s not like I’m going anywhere.” He says, winking at you.
The two of you had continued to eat in silence, occupied with the delicious food in front of you. At one point, Kuroo had placed a small bundle of noodles into a spoon of broth, holding it out for you.
“Aw, for me?” You say, leaning over to take the bite. The ramen was perfect, apparently everything Lev made was incredible.
“What kind of guy doesn’t share his food with his beautiful date?” He says, making you smile.
“I guess that means you deserve a chicken wing.” You say playfully, placing a wing in the empty bowl that once held your miso soup. “You should feel special, I really don’t share my food.”
The two of you had finished your meals in silence, simply enjoying one another’s company. It feels as though this small outing was a break from the reality you both dread — rather than playing detective or operating within a gang, you were just a couple out on a date.
“We better come back here one of these days.” You say, stacking your empty dishes up. You and Kuroo had finished everything, full and happy, now starting to get sleepy. The other racers in the shop had already left, and you could hear Lev cleaning in the kitchen.
“Fine by me. As long as you still consider it a date.” Kuroo says, getting up from his seat and stretching. You get up as well, and Kuroo holds out a hand for you to take, which you do. Walking alongside him with his hand in yours, you grab onto his arm with your other hand, feeling especially affectionate towards him.
“See you later Haiba!” Kuroo calls out as the two of you exit the shop, the cool night air breezing past your face, waking you up.
You let go of Kuroo’s hand to open up your car door, and Kuroo walks around to his side and climbs in. As he turns on the car, the clock reads 5:05 AM.
“It’s pretty late.” You comment, realizing how tired you had gotten. You lay your head against the car seat, turning your head to look at Kuroo.
“Yeah, I know. Do you wanna go home now?” He asks, turning towards you to see your drooping eyelids.
“Hmmm… not just yet. How about you drop me off when the sun comes up?” You ask sleepily.
“Whatever you want princess.” Kuroo says quietly, starting the car. You rest your eyes as Kuroo begins driving off, feeling content as you drift off to the sound of Kuroo switching gears. You never thought that you’d ever be comfortable enough to fall asleep in someone’s car, given how paranoid your brother’s death had made you. But with Kuroo, you were just so at home, so trusting of him. You almost couldn’t believe that before your first job with Kuroo,  you just saw him as the hot guy who worked for your dad.
Before you knew it, you were being gently awoken by Kuroo, the sun beginning to peak over the horizon. You didn’t recognize your surroundings, but you weren’t at all worried. There was never anything to worry about if Kuroo was with you.
“Where are we?” You ask, looking around. It appeared as though Kuroo took you to a park, a bit away from the city.
“We had some time to kill, I figured you’d want to see the sunrise.” He says, unbuckling his seat belt and turning to look out to the horizon. You do the same, sitting up in your seat and rubbing the sleep from your eyes.
After a few moments, you recognize the park Kuroo took you to. “When I was younger, my mom would take me and my brother here.” You say, memories coming back to you. You thought it was strange, how everything seemed to be leading back to your brother lately. It almost felt like a sign.
“I used to come here a lot too, with Kenma. Maybe we ran into each other once.” Kuroo says, leaning against the armrest. You gently lay your head against his shoulder, wrapping both of your arms around his.
“What a coincidence that we ended up here.” You say softly, relishing the moment between the two of you. The sun’s rays were barely peeking over the horizon, giving the sky an orange glow. There was a decent amount of overcast, so it gave the sun a softness to it. It was as though the sky was still drowsy, unprepared to make its first appearance for the day.
“No place I’d rather be.” Kuroo says, barely louder than a whisper. He tenderly places a kiss on the top of your head, staying there for a second longer than expected.
You slowly move your head up to look at him, your faces closer than they have ever been before. At this distance, you could really study the features on his beautiful face, the dark bags under his eyes from one too many late nights, the small scar on his cheek that was most likely from a job gone wrong, his dark lashes that framed the striking hazel eyes that now stared directly into your own.
You thought about all the other people that had stared into the same set of eyes you were now gazing into — all the women who knew him intimately, the friends who saw the good in him, the enemies who saw the evil, those whose last moments were spent looking down the barrel of a gun into these hazel eyes. To them, it probably felt like staring into the gates of hell, but for you, it felt like home. Kuroo felt like home.
His lips slowly graze against yours, almost tentative, trying to read the situation as it happens in real time. A simple ask, a gentle whisper of a question against your lips, inquiring if this was okay.
In a surge of confidence, your lips crash against his, urgency in your kiss, borderline desperation. Had you been pining for Kuroo all this time? More importantly, was he?
His hand gently made its way up to your face, as yours snaked behind his neck, pulling him closer. His other hand moved underneath his jacket that you wore, wrapping around your waist. You felt the calluses on his fingertips, rough against the smooth skin of your lower back.
The sun began beaming into the car, bringing the both of you into the light. It felt euphoric, being bathed in morning sun as you kissed Kuroo. Your heart raced in excitement as you felt Kuroo smile against your lips, and you gently sigh as he pulls away to look into your eyes.
He grins at you, his eyes studying every detail of your face. You smile back at him, feeling pure bliss.
“You kinda taste like chicken wings.” Kuroo says, chuckling softly. He gently runs his thumb against your cheek, admiring your face.
You close your eyes, shaking your head at his stupid comment. You laugh, realizing that the goofiness, the silly jokes and banter that you and Kuroo share is the reason why there were never any doubts in your mind with him. Kuroo could make you laugh despite all the darkness in your life, and that is what made you feel the way you felt. Maybe it was love, but maybe it was too soon to tell. Maybe being the girl in the passenger seat was enough for you at this time.
“Well you taste like ramen.” You say, your voice hoarse.
“What a pair we make.” Kuroo says, placing one last tender kiss on your lips.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“Sweetheart, come here for a moment.” You hear your father call out to you from the hallway. You let yourself into his office, and find Kuroo sitting in the chair in front of his desk.
“What’s going on?” You ask tentatively, sitting next to Kuroo.
“Your dad has some questions. About us.” Kuroo says.
“Us?” You question, looking at Kuroo. He wore a poker face perfectly, staring directly at your father with an unwavering gaze.
“I know you two are getting close. And (y/n), sweetheart, you know I trust you. And Tetsurou, you have earned my trust over the years with your loyalty to this family. I just need to know what exactly is happening with you two.” Your father says.
“We’re friends.” You say quickly, crossing your arms defensively.
“Friends?” Kuroo asks, breaking his cool demeanor to look over at you. Your father raises an eyebrow, looking between you and Kuroo curiously as you try to figure out what this relationship is.
“Maybe more than friends. Someday. Not right this moment. But a strong maybe.” You answer shortly, fumbling over your words.
“I see.” Your father sees, nodding his head. “Are you two...being safe?”
“Dad!” You say, embarrassed by this interrogation.
“Yes, sir. Well, there hasn’t been anything that requires...safety, but when it does — IF! If it does, we will be safe. You have my word.” Kuroo says. You could hear his nerves getting the best of him, and you couldn’t help but find it entertaining how scared he sounds as he practically word vomits to your father.
“Good.” Your father says shortly, awkwardly adjusting in his seat. “Now, for business...I don’t know if I’m okay with (y/n) being seen with you.”
“What?” You ask, raising an eyebrow.
“Our family is a moving target for a lot of people, especially the Nohebi Clan. I don’t know if it’s the best idea for the two of you to be going out in public.”
“I understand, sir.” Kuroo says, in his eyes you could see his disappointment.
“Dad, that’s ridiculous.” You say, getting fed up with the passivity of the conversation. “I’m going to be leading the Sakanoshita family one day. I’m a target no matter what. But no one will take me seriously when I do take over if I’m locked away all the time. People need to know me. They need to know who’s going to be the next King of Tokyo.”
“But you just had your first job. You’re jumping into this too quickly.” Your father argues.
“Keishin had years of training. I’m playing a game of catch up here, and I think the more experience I have, the better. I can’t run an empire from the confines of this house, dad.” Again, playing the dead brother card. It’s a tricky one to play, but it always works.
Your father sighs, folding his hands in front of him. “You sure know how to argue.”
“I learned from the best.” You say, smirking.
“I’ll make a deal with you.” Your father turns toward Kuroo. “You’re getting a promotion. You’re now (y/n)’s bodyguard. She goes somewhere, you follow. If she wants to go somewhere that is potentially dangerous, don’t allow it. And you.” He turns back towards you once more. “You don’t go anywhere without him. You can go out, be social, earn your place here as a Sakanoshita. Let people learn who’s the next King of Tokyo.”
You grin, knowing that you would be able to reach an agreement with your father. “Sounds like a deal. Kuroo and I will be going to a party this Saturday.”
As you proudly saunter out of your father’s office, he calls out a question. “What party?”
“Racer party. Gotta make sure everyone knows the new Sakanoshita boss.” You call out, walking out the door and down the hallway, leaving Kuroo and your father to their business meeting.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You could hear the party before you could see it, the music blasting so loud it could be heard from down the street. Even this far from the house, there were already cars parked along the side, all shiny and suped up like Kuroo’s. A lot of time had passed since your last real social outing, but you were at ease knowing Kuroo would be there with you.
“Just a fair warning, Bokuto is...very loud.” Kuroo says, slowly driving past all the cars and making his way to the driveway of the house. The house was very modern, with a long driveway leading up to a white home with a balcony in the front, huge windows letting you peek in to see all the people inside. The music continued to grow louder and louder as you drew closer to the house, and the cars got nicer as well. Apparently only the people with fancy cars got the good parking spots.
“How loud are we talking?” You ask Kuroo as he puts the car in park and turns the engine off.
“Like...imagine the exact polar opposite of Kenma. Then make it louder. That’s Bokuto.” Kuroo explains as he gets out of the car. You do the same, walking over to his side and grabbing his hand. The two of you walk up the stairs to the door, and Kuroo swings it open without knocking. And just like that, you were officially at your first street racer party.
“Hey, it’s DK!” You hear someone shout distantly, followed by a chorus of greetings. It was just like the ramen shop, everyone being so quick to greet Kuroo.
“Hey everyone.” Kuroo says loudly, greeting everyone at once. He pulls your hand so you’re standing in front of him, leading the way into the party. Everyone gawks at you as Kuroo places a hand on your waist, coaxing you to walk further into the house.
“Does everyone know you? Should I start getting used to that sort of greeting?” You ask, maneuvering your way through the crowd.
Kuroo laughs, giving your belt loop a tug and pulling you into him, your back crashing into his strong chest. “Eventually people will start saying DK and (y/n).” He says into your ear, kissing you on the cheek. You smirk at his comment, a part of you enjoyed the attention everyone was giving you as Kuroo held you against his body. He really knew every way to feed into your ego, and you really did love it.
“HEY HEY HEY! IS THAT MY BOY DK?!” you hear a loud, chaotic voice say from the kitchen. You and Kuroo turn your heads to find the source, and you see a tall, muscular guy with spiky grey hair grinning at the both of you. You notice the grey bomber jacket he wore, meaning that he was a racer like Kuroo and Oikawa. His appearance was a bit intimidating, and his features were almost...owl-like.
“BOKUTO!” Kuroo yells, letting go of your hand to greet the host of the party. The two tall, well built men embrace in a hug, clapping each other on the back. You stand there, smiling at this new side of Kuroo. You understood what he meant by Bokuto making him feel more normal.
“Good to see you dude! Hey, Lev mentioned you were bringing a girl! Where is she?!” Bokuto asks excitedly, looking around to try and spot you.
“Right here.” You answer, moving to stand next to Kuroo. “I’m (y/n). And I’m assuming you’re the infamous Bokuto?”
Bokuto laughs, throwing his head back. “Infamous, eh? That must mean DK’s been talking about me.”
“I figured I should warn her on what she’d be walking into.” Kuroo says slyly, wrapping an arm around you. You found it endearing how affectionate Kuroo acts with you, making sure to keep you close.
“Glad I didn’t scare ya away.” Bokuto jokes, grinning at you. “Well, DK here is like a brother to me, so by extension that makes you family. Both of you just make yourselves right at home, drink whatever you want and let me know if you need anything. Mi casa es su casa, as Cypher would say. Well, he probably wouldn’t say that, but it’s definitely Spanish.”
You laugh, smiling up at Bokuto. Kuroo was right, he really is just a genuinely nice guy. Bokuto was a refreshing change from the usual dark and scary stuff  that you and Kuroo dealt with.
“Say, speaking of Cypher, where is the punk?” Kuroo asks, looking around.
“Upstairs with the rest of the Brawlers. Your guys are out back. Say, you guys want anything to drink?” Bokuto asks, turning to the counter full of liquor.
“None for me. Gotta make sure someone gets home safe.” Kuroo says, squeezing your shoulder.
“Well look at you being all chivalrous!” Bokuto says, playfully punching Kuroo’s arm. “Anything for you, (y/n)?”
“Sure, I’ll drink whatever.” You say, unsure of what to ask for. High school parties were one thing, but what the hell are you supposed to drink at a street racer’s party?
“One mystery drink coming right up.” Bokuto says, turning around. “Akaashi!”
A handsome guy with short dark brown hair turns at the sound of his name. “Can you make a drink for (y/n) pretty please?” Bokuto asks, grinning at him. Akaashi nods, putting his cup down and picking up an empty one for you. He pours some random bottles of liquor and some more random juices into a cup, handing it to you.
“Thanks.” You say, taking the cup. You take a sip, and to your surprise, it wasn’t disgusting.
“Akaashi’s kinda the drink expert. And car expert. He’s kinda good at everything.” Bokuto says, noticing your look of amazement. Akaashi rolls his eyes behind him, but you notice his ears flushing red at Bokuto’s compliment. “I’m gonna go be a good host and do my host thing, but I’ll find you two later!” Bokuto turns away from the both of you, walking towards the crowd of people outside.
“Oh and DK!” Bokuto calls out loudly, making plenty of people turn towards Kuroo. “I’m glad to see you’re finally off the market! No more bachelor’s life for you!”
“Bachelor’s life?” You question, looking up at him skeptically. Prying eyes peered over at the two of you, no doubt trying to sneak a peek at the great DK and the girl that took him off the market.
“Don’t worry about it.” He answers, rubbing the back of his neck and avoiding eye contact. Of course he was a lady’s man before you, just look at him. But just how many girls were in your place before you got there?
Kuroo takes your hand, leading you upstairs to where Cypher was. The two of you found him lounging on a couch with a bunch of other guys wearing jackets similar to his, talking and laughing with a bottle of expensive looking tequila in his hand.
“Hola amigo.” Kuroo says in a mocking tone, sitting next to Cypher. You sit next to Kuroo, and he puts his arm around you possessively.
“Hola lovers.” Oikawa slurs, lazily placing an arm around Kuroo. “Good to see you didn’t scare princesa away.” He says, nodding to you.
“You’re (y/n).” You hear someone say from the opposite end of the couch. You turn your head to see a guy with tan skin and short spiky brown hair staring at you.
“Uh, yeah.” You say, caught off guard by how many people already knew you. Seriously, how often did Kuroo talk about you?
“Oh, sorry.” He says, appearing to snap himself out of deep thought. “Cypher was telling us about the last job and mentioned you. Just put two and two together. I’m Iwaizumi.” He says, getting up and extending a hand to you. You shake his hand, smiling at him.
“That’s right, I was telling a story! Now, as I was saying…” Oikawa continues on, recounting the events of the job that you accompanied them on, silver tequila sloshing around in the glass bottle as Oikawa wildly gestures with his hands as the story progresses.
“So Sly Fox had the cargo the entire time?” Iwaizumi asks, looking at us skeptically.
“The entire time.” Kuroo says, nodding. “Speaking of the Sly Fox, where is he?”
“Outside with your crew.” a scary looking guy with deep set eyes answers. His hair looked very unique, a bleach blonde buzz cut with two black stripes running around his head.
“Thanks Mad Dog.” Kuroo says, getting up, dragging you with him. “Cypher, let’s go. Got some work talk to do with Sly Fox.” Oikawa clumsily gets up, taking the tequila with him.
The three of you walk down the stairs and out the backdoor, where you immediately see a group of guys sitting around a fire pit, half of them wearing black, and the other half wearing Nekoma bombers.
“Sly Fox!” Kuroo calls out, getting Kita’s attention. He looks up from his rolling tray, blunt in hand. “We got some business to talk about. You too, Snake Eyes.” He says, pointing at Kenma.
Kita nods, looking over at his guys and motioning for them to leave the area. Kuroo does the same, and the Nekoma Crew minus Kenma leave. You, Oikawa, and Kuroo each take a seat around the fire.
“What are we talking about?” Kenma asks, looking over at you and Kuroo. Kita continues to roll, and Oikawa slouches in his seat, taking sips from his bottle.
“Yeah, what are we talking about fellas?!” Bokuto says with a grin on his face, walking up to the group of you and grabbing a seat. You couldn’t help but smile at his behavior, his charisma.
“Work stuff, Bokuto.” Kuroo answers, giving Bokuto a warning look.
“Oh! Got it! Say no more, plausible deniability and all that jazz. You guys let me know if you need me!” He says, getting up immediately and walking away with haste. The entire time the grin on his face never wavered, he didn’t seem the least bit offended by being kicked out of the conversation.
“Bokuto knows the stuff we do, but we keep him out of it. He’s...a bit soft for our line of work. And he knows if he hears anything, he could get in trouble. So, he stays away.” Kita explains, licking his rolling paper and sealing the blunt.
“We got some new intel from the boss.” Kuroo says. Oikawa sits up, paying attention now that the real business talk had started. “We may know who gave the anonymous tip during the last job.”
“Someone we know?” Kenma asks.
Kuroo nods. “Suguru Daishou. Fangs. He’s the lead for the Nohebi Clan.”
“Nohebi?” You ask. Everyone looks over at you. “They used to work for my dad.”
“What happened to them?” Kita asks, lighting his blunt and getting it started.
“Daishou crossed my family, I guess he was trying to make a name for himself by taking on my dad. Didn’t end well.” You say, remembering overhearing your father’s work conversations with Fangs when you were in high school.
“Which would explain the grudge he has, and why he tried to bust us.” Kenma says.
“But how would he know about the move? There were no other cars on the road that night.” Oikawa points out, setting his bottle down.
“That’s the million dollar question. We still don’t know how he knew, but we do know he has eyes on us. Which means you guys and your teams need to be careful, at least until the Daishou problem is sorted out. Sound good?” Kuroo asks, looking at Oikawa and Kita. They both nod, understanding the risk that the Nohebi Clan posed.
“I’ll see what I can find out about Fangs and Nohebi.” Kenma says, which Kuroo nods to.
“Thank you. The more we know, the better.” Kuroo glances at you, meeting your eyes. “Any of you guys know where Karasuno Killers are?” He asks, looking around the group.
“Upstairs living room. You got business with them?” Oikawa asks, looking over at you.
“Something like that.” Kuroo says, taking your hand and standing up. “We’ll catch you guys later.”
“See ya.” You say, giving a half wave with your cup in your hand. You follow behind Kuroo, once again going through the house and up the stairs. You were keenly aware of the eyes that seemed to follow your every move, and you couldn’t help but notice that they were almost entirely female. What, was Kuroo such a hot commodity that you being with him tonight was a headline?
“See that, you pulled the E brake too soon.” You hear someone say from the partially shut door. You and Kuroo had made it to the room that Oikawa said the Karasuno Killers were in.
“You guys watch racing footage at parties?” Kuroo questions, slowly opening the door. Inside, there were three guys sitting on a couch in front of a TV that appeared to be playing a video of a street race.
“Not everyone is blessed with your drifting skills, DK.” One of the guys say, getting up to greet him. He had a warm smile, dark brown eyes, and short brown hair. Him and Kuroo give each other one of those bro hugs, and afterwards he turns to look at you.
“I don’t think we’ve met.” He says, extending his hand to you. “Daichi Sawamura. Mechanic for Karasuno Killers.”
“(y/n) Sakanoshita.” You say, shaking his hand. He raises his eyebrows slightly at surprise, no doubt at the mention of your family name.
“Sakanoshita?” Another guy with a buzzcut and a gruff voice says from behind Daichi.
“As in the King of Tokyo Sakanoshita?!” The third guy says, his voice higher in pitch. He wore his brown hair spiked up, with a single blonde streak right in the middle.
“Please excuse these two dumbasses, they’re not the best socially.” Daichi smiles apologetically, moving to invite you and Kuroo to join them on the couch. Behind you, Kuroo shuts the door.
“You said you’re a Sakanoshita?” The buzzcut one repeats, staring at you intensely.
“Tanaka, chill.” Daichi warns, looking over at him.
“Yeah Tanaka, you’re gonna scare her away.” The guy with the blonde streak jokes, punching Tanaka in the arm.
“Oh shut it, Noya.” Tanaka says, shoving him back. “Sorry. My sister knew someone with that last name.” He says, looking over at you once more.
“You’re Saeko’s brother?” You ask him, getting his attention. He looks surprised, almost a little scared by his sister’s name being mentioned.
“How do you know my sister?” He asks, his voice taking on a threatening tone.
“Yeah, what’s your business with big sis?” Noya asks, eyes darting between you and Kuroo.
“Take it easy, guys. We mean no harm, I swear it on my crew.” Kuroo says in a peaceful tone. Tanaka and Noya lighten up, but continue to stare at you skeptically.
“Keishin Ukai was my brother.” You say, causing the three men from Karasuno to sit straight up, simply from the mention of his name. “I know he dated your sister, and I want to talk to her.”
“No one talks to big sis. Especially not strangers.” Noya says, leaning back against the couch.
“You’re Black Lungs’ sister?” Daichi asks, looking at you with curiosity.
“Yeah. He raced under the name Ukai to get away from my family. And I know about the accident. I’m sorry Tanaka.” You say sincerely, looking at Tanaka. You didn’t know to what extent Saeko was injured, but you assumed that she had to have taken some amount of damage.
Tanaka shrugs, looking away. “It’s all good. Why do you need to talk to my sister?”
“I need to know the truth about my brother. About how he died. And I heard that your sister and my brother were pretty close, I just want to talk to her about him.” You say, nearly begging.
Tanaka sat for a second, thinking of a response. “My sister...she doesn’t talk to many people nowadays. She hasn’t been the same since your brother passed. Black Lung was her soulmate, or whatever.” He says awkwardly, shifting in his seat. “I’m sorry, but I don’t want to put her through reliving that night just for your sake. I really am sorry, (y/n), about your brother. He was a cool dude.”
You sigh, taking a long drink from your cup. You had a feeling it would go like this, but you couldn’t help feeling disappointed by the outcome.
“We think we know the truth about his death.” Kuroo says, making everyone in the room look at him. “We know it wasn’t an accident.” You knew he was taking a risk saying this, telling these guys the suspicions you held. He was gamlbing with the only intel the two of you had.
“What do you mean the truth? His death was a tragic accident and that’s that.” Daichi says in an assertive tone.
“Daichi, it’s okay.” Tanaka says quietly, his eyes not moving from your own. “You two know the truth? Or just theories?” He questions you.
“We...have theories. But I think that talking to your sister will help point us in the right direction. Or maybe even give us exactly what we need to prove our theories.” You say, trying your hardest to convince Tanaka.
Tanaka sighs, looking at the TV, which remained paused on a frame of an orange Mitsubishi. “I don’t know.”
“No one knows you.” Noya points out, getting your attention. “You don’t belong to any crew, I know you’re here with DK but you aren’t officially a part of Nekoma. Everyone knows your dad is a shady dude. And Saeko shouldn’t have to relive Black Lung’s death for a stranger.”
“You’re right.” You say, knowing that everything he was saying was correct. You were a stranger, the idea of a dead street racer’s little sister suddenly coming out of hiding to ask a thousand questions about her brother’s death was far fetched, even for you. “You guys have no reason to trust me, or to let me talk to Saeko. But I’m desperate. I just — I need to know what happened to my brother. I’ll do anything.”
“What do you think Saeko would want? What would she have (y/n) do to prove herself?” Kuroo asks.
“I know exactly what she would want.” Tanaka says, sighing and sitting up. “A race. A memorial for Black Lung. We haven’t had one for a while, but the last time she had one, all the money raised from it went to...a memorial fund. For your brother.”
“A memorial fund? For Keishin?” You question, uncertain why the son of a millionaire needed a memorial fund.
“It goes to Saeko. Helps keep the shop open, and funds her research into what happened to your brother.” Daichi answers.
“So I’m not the only one with theories.” You say, beginning to understand. “I’m assuming it goes to P.I.’s, buying access to private files, stuff like that?”
“We can neither confirm nor deny that.” Noya says in a robotic tone, like it was a line he was taught to say.
“If we do the memorial race, who’s racing?” Kuroo asks, changing the topic.
“Me.” You answer immediately, making everyone look at you in shock. “A Black Lung memorial race, with his little sister making her racing debut. It could be big. Raise a lot of money. I know the type of power my family name has in this city.”
“And it would prove to Saeko that you’re serious about meeting her.” Daichi points out.
“Okay, how about this.” Tanaka says, shifting in his seat once more. “You and me, headline race. If we can get some more racers in on this, then great. If you win, you can meet Saeko. If you don’t, then oh well. At least she’ll get some more funds for her...side project.”
“I can get some more racers in on this.” Kuroo says.
“Perfect. We got a deal, you two?” Daichi asks, looking between you and Tanaka. You nod, sticking your hand out.
“Deal.” Tanaka says, shaking your hand.
“Looks like we got a race to plan.” Daichi says, grinning at Kuroo.
Kuroo smirks, getting up. “I’ll go start recruiting some more racers.”
You follow Kuroo, getting up and heading for the door. “I’ll see you on the road, cue ball.” You say, smirking at Tanaka. You slowly head out, leaving the door cracked open.
“HA! CUE BALL! Get it, cause you’re freakin bald!” Noya yells, cackling with laughter. You chuckle, their conservation fading out as you walk with Kuroo back downstairs.
For about an hour or so, you and Kuroo went around the party, mingling with racers, recruiting them for the Black Lung memorial. You got at least enough people for three more races. So far, the lineup was you vs. Tanaka, Kuroo vs. Bokuto, Iwaizumi vs. Atsumu Miya from Inarizaki, and Oikawa vs. Kita. Kuroo pointed out that there would be a good turnout for the memorial given how many great racers were on the bracket, which made you both nervous and hopeful.
“So, since when do you race?” Kuroo asks you, sitting down on the couch.
“I’m pretty sure I can figure it out.” You say, sitting down next to him, draping your legs over his. “Gas pedal makes car go vroom vroom. Seems simple enough.” You joke to him, making him roll his eyes.
“Sounds like someone needs a teacher.” He says, leaning closer to you.
“Sounds like someone wants to teach me.” You say, closing the gap between the two of you, kissing him.
A buzz from your pocket interrupts you, causing you to pull away from Kuroo and take your phone out.
‘Call me now.’ the text read from your dad. Kuroo saw it over your shoulder, and immediately sat up.
“Dad, is everything okay?” You ask, trying to drown out the sound of the party.
“You need to get out of there, have Kuroo take you somewhere safe. Nohebi is looking for us.” Your dad says in a rushed tone. You hear some shuffling on his end, and your mother’s voice in the distance.
“What? Nohebi knows I’m here?” You ask. Kuroo looks at you with concern, seemingly ready to get up and run at any moment.
“Daishou has eyes everywhere. Don’t come home, your mother and I won’t be here. Tell Kuroo to protect you no matter what.” There’s a brief moment of silence between the two of you. “Your mom and I love you, sweetheart. We’ll see you soon.” Three beeps signal the end of the call.
“We need to go. Nohebi’s coming.” You say, jumping up. Kuroo follows suit.
“I’ll let the guys know.” Kuroo says, beginning to race towards the backyard where Inarizaki, Seijoh, and Nekoma were hanging out.
You follow him out, trailing behind him as he approaches Cypher and Sly Fox. Before you can catch up to him, he’s already heading back towards you, taking your hand and dragging you through the house and out the front door.
“Will everyone be okay?” You ask him, running to the car. You hop in, Kuroo doing the same and turning the car on.
“Between Seijoh, Inarizaki, and Nekoma, they have Nohebi outnumbered three to one. They won’t try anything at a party this crowded. Daishou’s too smart to fight a losing battle.” Kuroo says, immediately racing away from the party, the houses of the neighborhood zooming past your line of sight. “The gangs aren’t the target anyways. We are.”
As if on cue, you see in the rearview mirror three cars pull up to the party, and Daishou climbs out of one of them. He was vaguely familiar, you could barely recall seeing him in your father’s office, but you knew that he would recognize you and Kuroo in a heartbeat.
“We got out just in time.” You say, looking over at Kuroo.
“Barely. We’re not in the clear just yet princess, still need to get somewhere safe.” Kuroo says shortly, continuing to fly down the empty Tokyo streets. “We don’t know if Daishou had eyes on us as we left. And as soon as he realizes we aren’t there, they’re gonna be all over the city looking for us.”
“So where do we go?” You ask him.
Kuroo pauses, staring out at the freeway in front of the two of you. “My safehouse. It’s under a bogus name, in an old neighborhood. They won’t know to look there.”
You nod, sighing and rubbing your eyes. You didn’t feel even the slightest bit tipsy from the drink you had earlier. How did the night go bad so quickly?
“Hey.” Kuroo says gently, reaching over to hold your hand. “Everything will be okay. As soon as we’re at the safehouse, we’ll be in the clear. And I’m sure your mom and dad are somewhere safe as well.”
His reassurance goes a long way, easing your nerves and allowing you to relax a little. There was no use stressing yourself out while you’re stuck in the car, driving to an unknown destination.
After about 50 minutes of silent driving, Kuroo finally pulls off of the freeway and enters an old, run down neighborhood. Everything was quiet, and the streetlights overhead were flickering in the darkness.
“Home sweet home.” Kuroo says, pulling into an alley next to an apartment building. He turns the car off, going to the trunk. You get out as well, watching Kuroo as he drapes a large tarp over the car. A bright red luxury car would definitely stand out in a neighborhood like this.
Kuroo takes your hand and leads you up the apartment complex stairs to a door labeled ‘A402’. With one of the many keys on his keychain, Kuroo unlocks the door, opening it for you.
There wasn’t anything very special about the apartment, it seemed like the type of place a person would crash at for a night or two then leave. A small but functional kitchen, a modestly sized living area with a couch and a TV. As you continue further into the apartment, you see a quaint bathroom with a standing shower, and a bedroom barely big enough to fit a full sized bed.
“There’s some pillows and stuff in the hall closet. And some extra clothes in the bedroom.” Kuroo says, setting his keys on the counter and pulling out his phone. As you reach for a light switch, Kuroo stops you. “Wait, don’t. We shouldn’t make it look like anyone’s home, just in case. At least until I hear back from Kenma.”
Although his paranoia seemed a bit much for you, you knew that it was for a good reason. If the Nohebi Clan was enough of a threat to make your father go into hiding, no precaution was too extreme.
“I’m gonna go change.” You call out to him, grabbing a spare shirt and pair of men’s boxers from the bedroom closet. You gently close the door, beginning to strip off your party outfit and changing into Kuroo’s clothes.
After taking a moment to recollect your thoughts, you decide there was no use worrying about things that were out of your control. Your mother and father, the race that you volunteered for, even the party you just fled from. What was in your control, however, was the bed.
“I’ll put some sheets on the bed.” You shout out to Kuroo once more, grabbing the pillows and sheets from the closet. It felt almost hotel-like, the way everything was pristine and untouched. At least you knew this wasn’t the sort of place Kuroo took other girls.
“Perfect.” You say, fluffing the pillows one last time, then stepping back to admire your work.
“I heard back from Kenma.” Kuroo says, pushing the door open and entering the room. He flops onto the bed, ruining your perfect sheets and collapsing your freshly fluffed pillows.
You sigh in annoyance, closing your eyes to keep your cool. “What did he say?” You ask, sitting next to Kuroo.
“Everything’s all good. Daishou and his guys showed up, asked for us. Oikawa and Kita were waiting for them, so they barely even made it past the front door. Told them we left a while ago, and that they didn’t know where we went.” Kuroo rubs his forehead with his hands, pushing his hair back. In the dim light that radiated from the street lamps outside, you could see the exhaustion in his eyes.
“No one got hurt? Are they still out looking for us?” You ask, your brain going a thousand miles an hour.
“Everyone's fine.” Kuroo says gently, taking your hand. “From what Kenma knows, they gave up looking for us and now they’re trying to find your dad. I think they’re assuming I brought you to them.”
You breathe another sigh of relief. The two of you were finally in the clear, finally safe, at least for tonight. “So we’re okay? At least for now?”
“For now, yes. In the morning Kenma will let me know if we’re all clear to go back to your place. But for right now, we’re safe.” Kuroo says, turning over to face you, wrapping his arms around your waist, resting his head on your thigh.
“We’re safe.” You whisper to yourself, running your fingers through Kuroo’s unruly black hair. The moment of calm being shared between the two of you is disrupted by a loud rumbling from your stomach.
“You hungry?” Kuroo asks, grinning against your leg.
“Maybe.” You say, realizing how hungry you’ve been all night. Is eating at parties still not cool, or was that only a high school thing? You didn’t see anyone else eating at Bokuto’s, so you assume it still wasn’t. Or maybe you were too worried about everyone staring at you to notice if anyone was eating.
“I’ll go grab some stuff at the convenience store.” Kuroo says, getting up and grabbing his jacket. “Onigiri?”
“And some ramen please.” You request politely, smiling sweetly at him. “Be careful.”
“Always am, princess.” He says, leaning down to plant a kiss on your lips.
Kuroo exits the room and you hear the front door shut and lock. You found yourself in a silent, dark apartment, alone.
‘Might as well see if the TV works.’ you think to yourself, getting up and walking to the living room and plopping down on the couch. Just like the bed, it felt brand new, as if you were the first person to sit on it.
After flicking the TV on, you mindlessly scroll through channels, trying to find something to occupy your mind. It felt wrong, how everything was so dangerous and scary tonight, but all that you could think of was that one thing Bokuto said. ‘No more bachelor’s life for you!’ What does that even mean?
Grabbing your phone, you realize that you really had no one to talk to. Normal girls would text their best friend, or even just a regular friend when they want to talk about boy problems. Normal girls, with normal friends and safe lives. Maybe Kuroo really is the only person you talk to.
You scroll through your recent messages, trying to find anyone to talk to. Dad — no. For obvious reasons. Mom — maybe on a regular day, but not right now. Kuroo — big no, for even more obvious reasons. Dentist — yeah, if you were really that desperate.
“I guess I could talk to myself.” You mutter out loud. After a moment of lonesome silence, you sigh. “Yeah, no. I’m not that crazy.”
What kind of bachelor’s life was Kuroo living before you came along, before that early morning watching the sunrise? You always assumed he was the no strings attached sort of guy, considering the type of work he does. But then again, the only times you ever saw him was when he was working. Maybe the Kuroo you knew was just one side, the professional side. Of course he let his guard down around you, joking and flirting when you were alone. It had been that way for as long as you could remember, since Kuroo started working for your dad. But maybe that was just another side, the side for girls he was interested in. Maybe you weren’t the only one who got to see that side. You saw two out of however many sides he has — the flirt and the henchman. Maybe you didn’t know him at all.
The sound of the front door creaking open draws you out of your thoughts, and you look up to see Kuroo with a convenience store bag filled with food.
“I wasn’t sure which onigiri you’d want, so I got one of each.” He says, plopping a bag filled with various onigiris onto the living room table. “And I got two ramens, spicy and regular. I’ll take whichever one you don’t want.”
“Spicy please.” You say, chuckling at how much food Kuroo got for just the two of you. Kuroo shrugs his jacket off, leaving it on the couch. Grabbing the bag with the ramen, he walks into the kitchen, flicking the lights on.
“One spicy ramen coming right up.” He says, pulling a pot out of the cupboard. You grab a salmon onigiri from the bag in front of you, unwrapping it and taking a bite.
“How often do you use this place?” You ask, watching Kuroo as he fills the pot with water and puts it on the stove.
“Once in a blue moon, really. If a job goes wrong and I need a place to lay low, I stay here. Or if I need a place to crash and don’t feel like driving home.” He answers.
“Where do you live, anyways?”
“Close by the Nekoma shop, same building as Kenma. We talked about being roommates for a while, but we agreed we’d probably start hating one another.” Kuroo chuckles to himself, walking back to the living room to grab an onigiri for himself.
“So it’s just you?” You ask, trying to steer the conversation in your favor.
“Me and Yoruichi.”
“Yoruichi?” You ask, feeling like you knew the name from somewhere. Maybe an old anime?
“My cat.” He says, grinning. “I found her on a job, actually. She kept following me around and just jumped into my car when I wasn’t looking.”
“Sounds like a pretty good life.” You say, trying your hardest to be subtle. “A bachelor’s life.” Okay, not so subtle.
“I knew you were still thinking about that.” Kuroo says, laughing. “You know you can just ask me stuff. No need to try and jump over hurdles trying to talk to me.”
“I’m not really good at this.” You admit. “You know...talking. Being open. Relationship stuff.”
“Relationship, huh?” Kuroo asks, turning to you and smirking. The pot of water behind him was at a rolling boil, letting steam into the kitchen.
You roll your eyes, your cheeks were definitely blushing but you hope that Kuroo couldn’t see it in the dim light. “Whatever this is.” You say quietly, knowing that a real label was the last thing either of you were thinking of with all the things you both were dealing with.
“Like I said, ask me anything.” Kuroo says, his back turned to you as he stirred the ramen.
“What did Bokuto mean by ‘a bachelor’s life’?” You ask, getting up to join Kuroo in the kitchen. You lean against the counter opposite the stove, staring at Kuroo’s muscular back.
“I was...definitely a bachelor. For a while.” Kuroo says, back still turned to you.
“Like...you had…” you say, trailing off. You were torn between saying “hoes” or “bitches”.
“I had...some girls that I spent time with. Nothing serious, though. I always made sure to keep things casual.” The conversation felt tense, slowly but surely growing more and more awkward as more details were being revealed.
“I don’t really care about how many there were.” You say quickly, reassuring Kuroo and clearing some of the tension. “I don’t care who they are either. But is there anyone I should be worried about? It felt like everyone was staring at me at the party.” The memory of all the girls at the party staring at you curiously was persisting in your mind.
“No one to worry about, really. None of them seem like the type to backstab, especially considering soon everyone will know you’re a Sakanoshita.” Kuroo says slyly, referring to the upcoming race in memory of your brother. You knew that as soon as everyone learned of your family, your sense of anonymity in Kuroo’s world would be gone.
“I have one more question.” You say, moving to stand next to the stove, nearly in front of Kuroo. “If those girls were nothing, and you usually keep things casual, what are we?”
Kuroo pauses, thinking for a moment before setting down his chopsticks and turning the heat to a simmer. Turning to you, he places his hands on either side of the counter next to you, trapping you underneath him. Your heart raced as you felt your breath catch in your throat, caught off guard by Kuroo’s sudden closeness to you.
“I’m whatever you want me to be.” He says, barely louder than a whisper, his lips hovering over yours.
“You’re mine.” You say, your gaze bouncing from his eyes to his lips. Kuroo moves closer to you, his body pressing against yours.
“I’m yours.” He responds, wrapping one of his arms around your waist.
“Kuroo…” You whisper, lips grazing his. He reaches next to you, turning the stove off. In an instant, his lips crash against yours. You wrap your arms around his neck, desperate for more — more contact, more kisses, more Kuroo. The entire night Kuroo kept you close to him, never leaving your side at the party, always making sure to let his kisses linger a few seconds longer than normal. All the pent up tension was finally being released, the adrenaline rush that came with all the drama from tonight only fueled the boldness of yours and Kuroo’s actions.
You grind your hips against him, making him groan. You were very aware of two things; his growing member, hard against your body, and the sudden wetness between your legs.
You gently push against Kuroo, freeing yourself from underneath him. His lips stay attached to yours, refusing to break the seal the two of you made. In one swift motion, you release from his grasp, and without looking back, you calmly walk to the bedroom, leaving Kuroo standing in the kitchen alone, pining for more.
“Are you coming or not? Make sure you turn off the stove.” You call behind you, toying with Kuroo. You grin to yourself, knowing that you were just as irresistible to him as he was to you.
You open the bedroom door, behind you Kuroo’s footsteps grew closer and closer. Suddenly, you feel his arms around your waist again, and in an instant Kuroo is in front of you grabbing you by the throat, moving you so your back is against the door, pushing you backwards to shut it.
“Such a pretty princess.” Kuroo says, closing the gap between you two. You felt your heart rate quickening, being trapped under Kuroo’s touch like this. A light moan escapes your lips, this dominant side of Kuroo makes you want him even more. His hand wrapped around your throat, his hard cock against your leg, the whole room felt electrified.
“Kuroo please.” You whisper, eager for more.
“You want me?” Kuroo asks, his lips barely touching yours. He wraps his other arm around you, grabbing your ass and pulling you against his body. The only thing that stopped the two of you from being directly pressed against one another was his hand around your throat.
“Yes.” You answer breathlessly, moving your head forward, your lips colliding with his. Kuroo breathes heavily, removing his hand from your throat and moving to grab your ass. Almost by instinct, you give a light jump, wrapping your legs around Kuroo’s waist, his hands supporting you and keeping you from falling.
Kuroo moves backwards until his legs hit the bed, then he slowly sits and reclines backwards, careful not to drop you or break the kiss. He maintains a firm grip on your ass as you straddle him grinding your hips against his, yearning for more friction between the bulge being held back by his jeans and your throbbing pussy.
His fingers gently graze at the bottom of your shirt, tugging it upwards. You take the hint, sitting up and removing your top effortlessly. Kuroo does the same, sitting up slightly and lifting his shirt over his head. In the dim glow of the street light from outside, you could just barely make out the dragon tattoo on that stretched from his neck down his arm.
“Take these off.” Kuroo says, rubbing your thighs.
“What’s the magic word?” You tease.
“Now.” He says, reaching for your neck, forcefully pulling you down to look him in the eyes. You smirk, relishing in the fact you were able to see this side of Kuroo. There was no fear within you as he tightened his grip around your throat, only more and more arousal at the sight of the great Drift King grasping for control.
Gently, you take hold of his wrist, making him let go of your neck. After placing a small kiss on his thumb, you get up, unbuttoning your pants. Kuroo’s eyes never left you, he was hypnotized, his hand rubbing his hardened crotch. He almost looked as if he was stuck in a trance, watching you undress before him, as if you were something out of a magazine that had come to life right before his eyes.
Reaching behind you, you unclip your bra, letting it fall to the floor, your nipples already rock hard. Kuroo lets out a small “fuck”, watching you in amazement. You turn to look at him, feeling no need to cover your nude body, no need to hide from him. You want him to see you, it turns you on watching him touch himself as he stares at you with lust in his eyes. At this moment, you wanted nothing more than to climb into that bed with him and fuck all night long.
You take a few steps closer to him, bending down and reaching for his pants, smirking as you hear his breath catch in his throat. Kuroo moves his hands away, hoisting himself up on his elbows to watch you. After unbuttoning and unzipping his pants, he moves slightly to allow you to remove his pants — and to his surprise — his underwear as well.
If there was a god out there, you were certain that they personally blessed Tetsurou Kuroo with a gorgeous penis. Standing perfectly erect in front of you, you stop for a moment to simply take it all in. The size, the girth, the slight lean to the left, the vein popping out in excitement, the droplets of precum gathering on the head. At just the mere sight of his cock, you felt a fire light inside of you, eager to pleasure him.
“You just gonna sit and stare all night?” Kuroo asks sarcastically, looking down at you with a smirk. Without saying a word, you gently lick the precum off of the head, your eyes not leaving his. He gently sighs, his smirk falling as his mouth stays slightly agape. You will yourself to salivate, and in one seemingly effortless motion, you take his entire length in your mouth, the tip hitting the back of your throat. You gag slightly, trying your hardest to relax your throat to keep his dick in your mouth. Kuroo’s head falls back in pleasure, and a beautiful moan escapes his lips.
“Goddamn, princess.” Kuroo says, lazily picking his head up to look you in your eyes. Once again maintaining eye contact, you slowly withdraw his dick from your mouth, allowing your drool to dribble from your mouth onto his penis. Kuroo’s chest continued to rise and fall heavily, watching your every move. Licking one long stripe along the vein of his penis, you once again take him in your mouth, this time creating a rhythm, your head bobbing up and down as your hand strokes the length that you couldn’t fit, letting your spit lubricate his cock.
You begin to lose yourself in the moment, allowing yourself to close your eyes and bask in the sound of Kuroo’s soft groans as you pleasure him.
“Come here.” Kuroo says, breaking your concentration. You slowly take his length out of your mouth, leaving it wet with your saliva. Kuroo reaches for your thighs, pulling you upwards to look you straight into your eyes as you hover over him, his wet length hitting your inner thigh.
“Sit on my face.” Kuroo commands roughly, hands wandering up and down your legs and ass, his fingers gently brushing the lips of your vagina. You shiver at the small contact made, ready for more. After planting a short kiss on Kuroo’s lips, you let him guide you until your pussy is just barely hovering over his lips, his hands securely gripping your thighs, your bare tits practically glowing in the dim light streaming in from the empty street. You felt so defenseless, exposing yourself as Kuroo stared up at your naked body, you both knew he was strong enough to hold you down against his mouth if he wanted to.
Slowly, tentatively, you lower yourself down, your heart pounding out of your chest in excitement. Without missing a beat, Kuroo’s large hands tighten their grip on your thighs, holding you steady as his tongue furiously licks your pussy, practically making you double over in ecstasy.
Your moans and whimpers of pleasure echo through the room, and Kuroo takes this as a signal to quicken his pace, his tongue licking fast strokes against your clit and dipping slightly into your hole. His pace continued getting faster and faster, tongue alternating between circling your clit and deeply thrusting into your hole. You were certain he was leaving bruises on your thighs, trying to keep you still against his devilish mouth. Gripping tightly onto his hair, you feel yourself beginning to come undone on top of him, your walls tightening as you grind your hips against Kuroo’s face, his nose nudging against your clit, the pace never slowing down. You weren’t 100% sure he could breathe, but you didn’t really care. All that mattered to you was reaching your climax with Kuroo’s face buried in your pussy.
“Kuroo!” You moan out, pulling his hair a little harder as you feel your walls pounding as you hit your peak, struggling screams escaping your mouth as Kuroo continues gently lapping at your clit as you cum. It took everything in you just to stay upright, the intensity of Kuroo’s mouth never letting up even as you came. You ride out your high on Kuroo’s face, slowly releasing your grip on his head as he takes his hands off your thighs.
As you continue to try to catch your breath, you lift yourself up, giving Kuroo room to breathe. He breathes deeply as well, looking up at you with a smirk.
“You sound cute when you scream my name.” He says smugly, rubbing your thigh. You roll your eyes, your cheeks burning. Shifting backwards, you widen your stance to straddle his waist again, the tip of his penis just barely grazing the lips of your drenched pussy.
“And I like you better when you’re quiet.” You say, just barely louder than a whisper. Your face was once again centimeters away from his, and his lips were still glistening with your cum. Without hesitation Kuroo’s lips meet yours, sloppy, wet kisses being swapped between the two of you as your hand takes hold of his dick, lining it up with your entrance.
You watch as Kuroo pulls away from the kiss, his face contorting in satisfaction as you sink into him. You sigh, closing your eyes as his length slowly starts filling you up. There was only a little resistance, your walls having to stretch to adjust to his size. But even so, he felt so comfortable inside of you. It felt as if the two of you were made for one another.
You feel your eyes roll back as you shift your hips, his dick twitching slightly inside of you. Kuroo’s hands gripped onto your ass deeply, urging you to move, to create some sort of friction. With the support of his hands, you move your hips upwards, then downwards, up, down, up, down, two bodies moving almost perfectly in sync as the room filled with the sounds of Kuroo’s moans and your screams.
The two of you kept a rhythmic pace to maintain the high you were both building, his hands guiding your hips as you steadily let your body rise and fall against his. Fireworks exploded at your core every time your hips collided with his, the head of his dick ramming against your cervix.
After some time you slow down, your legs were getting more and more tired as you rocked against him. Kuroo senses your exhaustion and effortlessly flips you over onto your back, getting on top of you. Lining up his rock hard cock at your entrance, he looks down at you with a malicious grin.
“So desperate for my dick, huh princess?” Kuroo teases, letting the head of his penis rub along your soaking wet pussy, your walls clenching every time it barely grazes your clit.
“Just get inside me already.” You demand, your body aching for more. You were so close to reaching your second high, and you were more than ready to keep going all night if Kuroo wanted to.
“What’s the magic word?” Kuroo says, using your words from earlier against you. He slowly lowers himself until his lips graze your hardened nipple. The tip of his dick continues to rub against you, making your pussy throb. Kuroo flicks your nipple with his tongue, before taking it between his teeth and nibbling softly, causing you to yelp at the sudden contact. Kuroo moves away from your nipple, sucking hard on the soft tissue of your breasts, leaving hickeys scattered across your chest.
“Please fuck me Kuroo!” You beg, unable to take any more stimulation. You feel Kuroo chuckle against your skin, right before he finally lets his tip enter you. He pushes into you at a painstakingly slow rate, making you groan in anticipation, shutting your eyes tightly. Kuroo always left you yearning for more, lusting for his touch.
Kuroo moves his head upwards, nestling his face into your neck as he gradually increases his pace. He leaves small kisses along your neck, taking your ear lobe between his teeth and tugging on it, making your eyes roll back as you let out a loud moan. You shift underneath him, bucking your hips upwards as you wrap your legs around his waist. Kuroo groans into your neck, letting his head rest against your shoulder as he continues to pound into you, leaving shockwaves running through your body with every thrust.
“Kuroo, please make me cum.” You moan out, tangling your hands in his hair. Kuroo quickly pushes himself upward, hoisting your legs up and using his thighs to keep your hips suspended in the air, his dick still deep in you. Kuroo smirks as he sees your eyes roll back in pleasure, your hands grasping at the sheets around you, your breasts bouncing with every thrust. His smirk only grows wider as he begins rubbing small circles on your clit with his thumb, causing you to scream so loud you were certain everyone in the neighborhood could hear you.
With this added stimulation, you felt yourself getting closer to your climax much faster, the pressure building up in your pussy as Kuroo continues fucking you from this new angle. Without any warning, you feel your walls clenching like a vice around Kuroo’s dick, causing Kuroo to take his thumb off of your clit so his hands could grab your waist, keeping you still as you cum all over him.
Your climax is only further intensified by Kuroo continuing to pound into your tight cunt, aching for his own release. The feeling of your vaginal walls spasming around his cock was more than enough for him, but getting to see you scream in pleasure as he sends you over the edge is what really did it for him. To him, there was no better sight than seeing his princess cum.
It didn’t take long until Kuroo let out a throaty groan, his grip on your hips tightening as he fucks you even harder.
“Cum inside of me.” You barely make out, your body overrun with satisfaction. Kuroo leans down once more, pinning your hands over your head as you wrap your legs around him. Looking deeply into his eyes, you watch as his face contorts in ecstasy, his forehead dropping against yours. You feel his cock twitch inside of you, and you feel your cunt fill up with Kuroo’s hot cum.
After a last few sloppy thrusts, Kuroo pulls out of you, leaving you lying on the bed breathless, your chest rising and falling as you try to gain your composure. Your pussy was practically bursting with liquids, both yours and his. Kuroo briskly walks over to the bathroom, and you hear some shuffling and the sink running. Kuroo returns with a wet washcloth, kneeling in front of your soaking wet vagina and tenderly wiping up any cum that was on you.
“Such a gentleman.” You comment, looking down at Kuroo as he concentrates on cleaning you up. He looks up at you, smiling when he realizes you were watching him.
“Only the best for my girl.” He says, getting up and wiping his dick off with the rag. You move to lay on your side, feeling more than content with the events that just occurred. Kuroo lays next to you, looking into your eyes.
“My girl?” You repeat back at him, squinting your eyes skeptically. Kuroo rolls his eyes, throwing his arm around your waist and pulling you next to him.
“I’m yours. You’re mine. That’s the deal.” He says, winking at you.
“Since when am I yours?” You ask teasingly, knowing damn well that there was no arguing that you and Kuroo belonged to one another.
“Since you screamed my name so loud the entire neighborhood heard you.” Kuroo says, smirking. “The hickeys speak for themselves too. They’re like a personal tag.”
“Shut up.” You say, rolling your eyes at his lewd comments. You couldn’t hide the smile on your face as you thought about the idea of being Kuroo’s. “I’m yours.” You whisper, inching your face closer to Kuroo’s.
“You’re mine.” Kuroo responds back, placing a loving kiss on your lips. There wasn’t any lust, any heat in this kiss, which was a drastic change from the absolutely filthy deeds the two of you were just committing. It was a simple kiss, sealing the deal the two of you made.
“Round two after dinner?” Kuroo asks jokingly, pulling away from your kiss. You laugh, resting your forehead against his, lazily nodding at the proposal of more sex.
Alone with Kuroo in that tiny little safehouse, you felt more at home than you had felt in years. Maybe it was the intensity of everything that happened that night, maybe it was the sense of belonging you felt as you laid in Kuroo’s arms, maybe it was the way your heart fluttered every time you heard Kuroo say “I’m yours”. Perhaps it was all of it, all of these emotions and sensations coming together, a light in the middle of the darkest storm that raged on around you, right outside the walls of this apartment. That storm wasn’t going to stop, and you and Kuroo were fully aware of the dangers that lurked around the corner for the both of you. But maybe the comfort the two of you found in one another was more than just a shelter from the impending storm. A solemn promise that regardless of the future that lay ahead, there was one constant that would remain true — he is yours, and you are his.

A yelp inadvertently escapes me as a sharp bolt of pain goes through my right hand, my punch falling short as I flinch back in surprise. Biting my lip, I shake my hand, glancing around at the other initiates nearby, thankful that no one has noticed my brief moment of weakness. Discreetly, I unfold my fist and examine it, trying to discern exactly what caused the sudden discomfort, looking over the purple bruising dusting my knuckles, as well as the grazes adorning the same areas. I frown, unsure of what happened. Shaking it off, I simply get back into position and go to strike the punchbag again, tensing my core before I do anything.
A stern voice interrupts me, however, as a familiar figure steps up beside me.
"Take your thumb out of your fist, initiate." Eric commands, staring me down with his icy blue eyes.
"S-sorry?" I stutter, unsure of what he means as I look down at my fists.
He rolls his eyes and sighs, forming a fist with his own hand.
"Like this. It's not hard." He shows me, gesturing to my own hands.
Trying not to look at his bulging muscles, I observe his hand and copy it, only now realising what he meant.
"Never punch with your thumb in your fist, or you'll end up breaking it. Wouldn't be a great start, would it?" Are his only words before he stalks off, going to watch over some other initiate, leaving me blinking in his wake.
Keeping my hands as he showed me, I start beating the bag again, ignoring the slight stinging from the grazes as I work on the efficiency of my blows. With each punch, I make sure to hold my composure, stepping back from the bag as if my opponent were retaliating, keeping my eyes trained on it, so much so that I completely zone out the area around me. That is until I hear my name being called.
"(Y/n)! Kai! In the ring, now!" Eric orders us, voice resonating around the training area as it always does, his authority lacing his tone.
Swallowing nervously, I cautiously walk over to the raised platform, terrified at the thought of facing off with this particular initiate. People stare as I climb up, their eyes roaming over my body critically, comparing me with the hugely muscular boy across from me. Kai is massive in every sense of the word: bulging muscular arms, visibly toned torso, thighs like pillars and with a towering height that looms over the tallest of people. Surprisingly, however, his personality is much softer, the guy being relatively friendly with everyone, only really using his strength (gained from hard work in the Amity fields) for good use; he almost always apologizes for hurting someone. As I square up to him, I feel myself becoming more and more nervous by the minute, his fists easily the size of two of mine, but I ignore the rising sense of dread and wait for Eric to start us off.
"Go." The leader simply grunts, watching closely as we start circling each other.
Controlling my breathing, I move my weight onto the balls of my feet and hold my arms over my body, providing some protection from the oncoming onslaught of blows. Judging his step, I make eye contact with Kai briefly before suddenly ducking into his space and jabbing my fist out at his lower abdomen, striking his rock-hard abs with some force. Instantly, I recoil back out of reach, prepared for some form of retaliation in reaction to the blow, somewhat surprised when he shows minimal pain. Distracted by this, I quickly receive a blow to the stomach, having left it unguarded from my previous attack, the breath leaving me as his knuckles make contact. Grunting, I stumble backwards, ducking over my body to protect myself, only to accidentally make myself into an easier target as he grabs hold of my head and smashes my face into his lifted knee. Tears spring to my eyes as my nose audibly crunches, blood starting to pour from it as I begin to lose some focus, the pain raising in my face very disconcerting.
With my head still in his hands, I feel him lift it again for yet another blow with his knee, my mind racing as I jerk out my arm and jab it into the space between his thighs. A grunt escapes him at this, instinctively releasing me as he goes to protect his intimate regions. Relieved, I slip out of his reach and readjust, taking note of his slightly hunched position. Moving swiftly, I get closer and swing my leg round in a sharp kick to his jaw, throwing his head to the side painfully, the muscular boy spitting out a mouthful of blood as he goes, one of his teeth coming loose from the sudden impact. Triumphant, I go to repeat the action, only to find my leg grabbed by him, his hand closing around my limb tightly. Smirking, he quickly uses this hold on my leg to pull my feet out from under me, easily throwing me over his shoulder and smashing me into the ground, pain blossoming in my chest as it collides. Winded, I lie there, only just managing to twist onto my back as he lifts a foot over my head, ready to kick me into unconsciousness.
"Stop." Eric's cool voice interrupts us both, breaking through the haze.
Both our heads snap round to look at him, my vision spinning as I do so, confused as I stare at our leader through blurry eyes.
"Go to the infirmary and get yourselves fixed up. Now." He commands us, turning away from us and going to stand a little way away.
As soon as his back is turned, Kai crouches down to my level and offers me a hand, grey eyes clouded with concern.
"You alright? I'm sorry, I went too far." He says, helping me upright, slipping his arm around my back and lending me his shoulder to get me walking.
"It's fine, Kai, don't worry. It's what we're supposed to do, after all. I'm sorry about hitting you...there." I apologise, wincing as my chest heaves slightly, my ribs clearly bruised.
"Don't worry about it, it's fine."
As we walk, neither of us notice Eric's eyes following us out of the room.
*
For once, I don't barely climb onto the train as I speeds by, my arms somehow managing to pull me inside with time to spare, a smile working its way onto my face in triumph. Usually, I seem to struggle with having the distance, but tonight I managed it with some ease, meaning I didn't have to embarrass myself under the watchful eyes of Eric, who stares down at me as I straighten again. As always, his face is blank, his arms folded tightly across his chest, his muscles straining under the fabric of his coat. Suppressing the smile on my face, I bite my lip and look away, ignoring the slight twitch of his brow as he looks me over, eyeing me carefully as I go to stand with Kai, who has quickly become a good friend of mine, the huge boy turning out to be very caring and enjoyable to have around.
"Where do you think we're going?" The brunette asks me as I go to lean on the wall beside him.
Shrugging, I watch as the rest of the initiates join us, the Dauntless-born easily springing onto the moving train whilst the others, like Kai and I, struggle a little. Four is last to hop up, as always.
"I don't know." I inform my friend, looking to the bags at Eric's feet.
"Well, if you wait patiently, you might just find out." Eric suddenly bites out, his gaze fixed on the two of us.
Surprised, we both now, exchanging a glance between us.
"Oops." I mutter to him, falling silent as we watch the leader step forwards into the middle of the initiates.
"We're gonna play some Capture the Flag tonight. Four and I will each lead a team, each of which hides a flag and has to defend it. First team to get the opposing flag wins." He explains briefly, bending to unzip one of the bags at his feet, pulling out a type of gun I've never seen before, "You'll each get one of these. They're loaded with neurostim darts, which will simulate the pain of a gunshot wound without actually injuring you. They hurt like a bitch, so watch yourselves."
As he says this, Eric allows his eyes to fall on Kai and I, narrowing them as he finds my friend.
"Ok, Eric and I will now pick our teams. Eric will go first." Four chips in, gesturing for the leader to start.
"I'll take (Y/n)." He chooses, staring at me as I double take in surprise. Dumbfounded, I nod once, signifying that I heard him.
Four appears surprised momentarily, before he blinks and chooses one of the Dauntless-born.
Five minutes later and we've all been picked for a team, each of us sidling over towards our corresponding team leader as the train starts to come to a slowed pace. Kai was picked for Four's team, so I shoot him one last look before going to stand with the rest of Eric's team, taking one of the proffered guns and comfortably resting it against my hip, keeping the safety on for now. Looking up, I make eye contact with the stern leader, just catching his eye before he quickly glances away, saying something to Four as we prepare to leave the train, having been told to do so.
Without warning, Eric and Four throw themselves from the vehicle, landing somewhere in the darkness as the rest of us follow hastily, unwilling to be left on the train. Slinging the gun over my shoulder, I launch myself into the black night, my feet colliding with the ground seconds later, causing me to roll to absorb the shock, my hands scraping slightly on the uneven gravel. I'm quick to right myself, however, taking the gun off of my shoulder as I take out my torch and light it, easily locating Eric and going to stand with him. The rest of the team joins us and we leave the main area, walking for a few minutes until Eric stops.
"We'll need a tactic. Four is good at this, but I've beaten him most times so we need to make sure we don't lose to him tonight, got it?" The leader briefs us, holding out the luminescent flag to one of the Dauntless-born, "Go hide this in that old ticket booth over there. It's easy enough to defend and it's hard for them to find. The rest of you, find somewhere to hide around it. (Y/n), you're coming with me."
Surprised, I look at him but agree anyway, glad to have some alone time with the leader, watching as he elects one of the more experienced initiates to take charge of the defending team, before he signals for me to follow him. Taking the safety off my gun, I do so, keeping my footfall light and gentle, staying low to the ground to avoid being seen. Eric does the same, his movements calculated and practiced, his muscular frame somehow managing to step stealthily over the uneven ground.
"What did you want me for?" I hiss at him, keeping an eye out for any attackers.
"I need you to climb that tower and locate their flag. And you have the best aim, so I'm gonna need you to snipe out any guards if you can, so that you can then go in and get it." He whispers back, pointing to a nearby tower.
Frowning, I go to respond.
"And what about you?"
"I'll cover you, obviously." He replies matter-of-factly.
"Right."
As we approach the tower, he breaks off and goes to hide behind a nearby dumpster, reinforcing his plan to me as he does so, expecting me to scale the riveted wall of the abandoned structure by hand. Swallowing, I replace the gun over my shoulders and look over the rough surface before me, wondering how the hell I'm ever going to pull this off. Finding a handhold, I start ascending, using the marks to my advantage as I hoist myself higher and higher, ignoring the aching protests of my arms. Grazes litter my fingertips, my muscles trembling with each pull up, the gun knocking gently against my lower back.
It takes me a few minutes, but soon I'm high enough that I can see the area around us, my eyes roaming the dark area with scrutiny, looking out for the fluorescent flag. I spot it easily, the colourful fabric glowing brightly on top of another nearby tower, just a little way away, a figure guarding it alone, though there are most likely others at the base of the structure.
A sudden cry of pain snaps my attention down to the ground again, my eyes swiftly finding the silhouette of a body lying on the floor, Eric swiftly moving out to make sure the threat stays down, his fun levelled in preparation. Upon seeing this, I start climbing back down, spotting another three oncoming opponents just a little way away from us, their voices somewhat raised. Taking note of this, I hasten down, managing to hop down in time to face off with the newcomers, who are faced with a swift barrage of darts. Two fall, clutching at their legs in pain, the third taking a little more to neutralize before he too drops to the floor, squirming in agony.
"You find it?" Eric questions me, secretly checking me over for any injury in the darkness, aware that he can't really see much
"Yeah, it's this way." Turning, the two of us run in the direction of the other tower, thankfully staying clear of any enemies until we reach the low wall surrounding the structure. Circling it, we soon figure out why this particular tower was chosen.
"There's only one way into the tower past this wall, and they'll all be around that area." Eric muses, stopping with his back pressed against the offending architecture, "Any ideas?"
Thinking for a minute, I eye the wall carefully.
"I think so. We didn't get shot at as we approached it, which means they must all be at the other end, or not paying any attention, so one of us could climb over the wall  and get in that way, but they'd be vulnerable when they were climbing the tower." I suggest, tapping my weapon slightly.
"I said I'd cover you. You climb and I'll shoot the bastards, then I'll join you at the top." Eric confirms, gesturing for me to go.
Nodding, I make my way around to another part of the wall, starting to scale it in the darkness as I did before, hoping no one will catch me. Gritting my teeth, I haul myself over the structure and drop into the enclosed area, glad to hear the cries of alarm coming from a different part of the circle as I run over to the base of the tower. Thanking my aptitude for climbing, I start making my way up the building, trying to ignore the possibility of falling to my death as I start to get higher and higher off the ground. It takes me a little while, but I eventually manage to pull my aching limbs up and onto the balcony of the upper floor of the tower, somehow still out of sight of the guard, who is shooting at what I'm assuming is Eric down in the circle. Quietly, I slip into the shadows and ready my gun, shooting the unsuspecting initiate into the back, their sharp cry of surprise and pain resonating loudly around the room as I take up the flag and go to the open window. Leaning out, I scream out to the people below, waving it around triumphantly as a chorus of groans escapes the gathering of defenders, Eric already climbing the steps inside the tower.
Ecstatic, I shake the flag around more, happy that I may have proved myself as capable for once, my face split into a proud grin. Behind me, Eric suddenly bursts in, coming over to me with a smirk of his own.
"Congratulations, (Y/n)." He says, seemingly considering something.
"Thank you." I murmur, fighting off the blush as he stares at me, his eyes concealing a different emotion to what I was expecting.
Suddenly, he leans in and presses his lips to mine, swallowing my squeak of surprise as he starts to move with me. Cupping my face in his hand, his other at my waist, pulling me closer, Eric continues to kiss me, the sensation stirring up butterflies in my stomach, my body craving his touch as he presses himself flush against me. Briefly pulling apart for air, he manages to say something before he closes the gap again.
"God, I'm obsessed with you."

You’ve decided, it isn’t an easy choice, but you still have to make it. It’s for your own good. You inhale and swallow hard, crossing the dining hall toward Bucky. It’s morning in Stark Tower and all the Avengers are busy at work, along with all of Stark Enterprises. It’s breakfast time so almost everyone is here, so you figured that this would be the best time to talk to Bucky.
You clear your throat softly, you don’t want to interrupt Bucky, you’ve heard all the old stories about the Winter Soldier, but–he really isn’t that person anymore. He’s kinder, gentle–with the people who know him, that is. But he is also Steve’s best friend. Now that you’re standing here, you question if this is a good idea after all.
“Ex-excuse me, Bucky?”
Since clearing your throat didn’t make him turn his head to you, you speak to call his attention.
The raven-haired male turns to look at you. Those baby blues take you in for a moment and a smile crosses his lips. Up close and personal, even though you only have eyes for one man, Bucky is very easy on the eyes. You can see how anyone would be attracted to him.
“How can I help you, Miss YN?”
That civility, the politeness. It’s jarring considering the time you come from when it’s easy to forget. Everyone is offended by something, the tiniest little thing. Mountains turned into mole hills while the real issues are forgotten. You wonder if that isn’t a matter of society picking.
It doesn’t want to handle the real issues, so it creates new ones to focus on that means very little in the grander scheme of things.
“Could I speak with you privately?”
Anxiety ripples through your chest and abdomen. You hate this, but honestly, after last night you can’t take anymore of Steve’s abuse. You would have thought because he knew how you felt about him, regardless that he didn’t feel the same way–Steve might be a little easier on you? But that wasn’t the case here at all.
Bucky nods and stands, his napkin falling onto his plate. You notice it was empty anyway and you can rid yourself of guilt thinking that you disrupted his breakfast. Bucky tosses his trash and follows you into the empty hallway where only a few people are passing by now.
“I wondered if from now on, you could train me.”
You tell Bucky, fidgeting with the zipper on her sweatshirt.
Bucky’s brows arch up, wrinkling his forehead in an attractive yet inquisitive manner. Of course, Bucky knows that you’ve been training with Steve, he is team leader and certain duties fall under his belt, so to speak and he replies with as much and you feel yourself pale as you look down at your feet.
“I know, it’s just. Steve and I are having some… personality conflicts and I just think it would be best if we don’t train together anymore and well, I just figured that you naturally are Steve’s second so… I just thought that I would ask you. If it’s not asking too much. If it is, I can ask someone else,” you ramble, staring at your feet and suddenly Bucky gently tucks his knuckle under your chin, lifting your eyes to his.
“I’d be honored.”
“Really? Thank you so much, Bucky!”
Before you can stop yourself, you’ve stretched up onto your toes and flung your arms around Bucky’s neck. Hugging him quickly.
Bucky laughs, giving your back a gentle pat before you let him go and hits you with the full force of those big baby blue eyes that twinkly with mischief. “But you get to be the one to tell Steve.”
The way Bucky says it, it sounds like he is implying something else and before you open your mouth; he turns and walks away.
“Meet me in the danger room one hour, missy. Don’t be late.”
Well shit, you think. You were genuinely this would be the hardest part. Steve would probably be ecstatic to have you out of his hair, but something about Bucky’s abrupt departure tells you otherwise.
“Tell me what?”
Every hair on the back of your neck rises as you hear America’s ass’s voice right behind you. So that’s why Bucky hightailed it out of there.
You swallow hard and turn around, inhaling fast.
“I’m training with Bucky now, so…. so that’s it.”
You did it. You said the words. You also forget breakfast and immediately head to the lab. Who needs to eat right?
AN: Important PSA from the writer, PLEASE DO NOT SKIP EATING! Remember to eat, take healthy snacks on your journey’s in adulting and drink plenty of water!!!! I love you, you precious little beans! <3

Missing Moment
Okay, I've been sorta fed up with Titans not giving us these in between scenes where Kori and Dick interact and they find out things about each other.  So I decided to write a missing moment that would have happened in 3x06.
(I don't think this story has spoilers, but I guess read at your own risk if you haven't seen 3x06)
You can find the full story here at my FF.Net
As always, happy reading!
---------------
It’d been a rough couple of days. Between Hank blowing up and Dawn leaving for Paris….things were not the same. Kori often finds herself in the kitchen cleaning whatever nonexistent dishes were in the sink, taking the time to focus on something she can control.
Kom was here, that was a new development. And Dick was not happy about that.
Kori scoffs as she tosses the soaked sponge back into the sink and grabs the blue dish rag on the counter, drying her hands. Deep in her thoughts, she missed the lithe steps coming from down the hall.
“Hey.” She jumps slightly, caught off guard at Dick’s sudden presence. She looks up at the black clock on the wall.
1AM.
She tosses the rag on the counter and brushes past him to the living area, not wanting to hear what he had to say to her about Kom. She has to deal with her shit and he has his to deal with, and by the looks of the time, she figures he may have “figured out” his issues with Barbara given the late hour, but she won’t let her mind drift there.
He sighs, “Kori-“
She turns, giving him a sharp look. Her green eyes slightly flash bright, “What? More judgements, Grayson?”
His thick brows furrow in confusion before relaxing in understanding, “Look, I was being-“
“A dick.” She cuts him off, a smile gracing her lips.
Dick rolls his eyes at the comment, nearly hearing it more than he’d care to admit. But he couldn’t help the laugh that leaves his chest.
How does she do that?
“Sure, whatever. I was rude and didn’t respect you when you told me something was going on and I’m sorry.”
Kori’s eye widen, “Wow, Dick Grayson is apologizing.”
He bashfully grins. “It’s known to happen on occasion.”
Kori arches her brow at him and shakes her head, causing her curls to flutter at her shoulders. She doesn’t miss how Dick looks at her, but she pushes that light feeling down.
Not yet.
He walks over to the fridge and pulls out two beers, “Here.” He slides one across the counter, she catches it gracefully and pops the cap with her thumb as she watches Dick reach for the bottle opener on the fridge.
They take their drinks to the living area and settle on the sofa. They didn’t speak for a few moments, just savoring the few silent beats near the raging fire. Kori noticed Gotham was a very cold place. Hardly any sun during the day and the night a deep shadow of darkness. No wonder no one goes out at night.
“When I first came to Wayne Manor, I tried every way I could to leave.” Dick started. His beer rolling between his hands, peeling at the red label. Kori noticed this as a nervous tick of Dick’s, always fiddling with his batons or scratching the back of his neck. Whatever he was going to say, it was in confidence to her.
“Being back her has been…” he takes a swing of his drink. “It’s been tough. I feel myself reverting back to who I was before I left. Back to the guy who goes off on his own and acts like-like”
“Like Batman.”
He looks over at her and nods, “Yeah.”
“You know you’re not him, right?”
“Hm.” He doesn’t seem to believe her.
Kori leans forward, her thigh brushing against his lightly, “Listen to me. You are not him. Okay? You’re Dick Grayson, leader of the Titans. Sure, you have your flaws-”
“Hey!” his face brightens up at the jab.
“But you’re you. No one can take that.” She sips at her beer and settles back against the couch. “Besides, I think you’d look ridiculous in the Bat-suit.”
Dick lets out a hearty laugh making Kori smile.
He should laugh more.
He stares at her for a moment, his dark eyes gazing at her. She knows that look, it takes her back to the last time they were alone like this.
But now isn’t the time.
She clears her throat, breaking his gaze to stare into the fire lighting the room.
“I’m sorry about your parents, Kor.” She wasn’t expecting him to bring it up, hell she hoped she could chug the rest of her beer before having to continue this conversation.
She shrugs her shoulders, “I don’t really know how I feel about it right now.” It was her turn to distract herself from the inevitable. She lets her long fingers tangle in her curls, wrapping and unwrapping them from her fingers. She hadn’t seen her parents for a few years now. And even if she had, she doesn’t remember. Her memories have come back randomly, but not completely. If anything, it makes her feel even worse. Not remembering the last time she saw them.
She first feels the couch dip next to her and then Dick’s warm, callous hand wrap around hers, pulling it free from her hair. He rests their clasped hands on his leg, his thumb running slowing over her knuckles.
“Hey,” he tilts his head slightly, giving her that typical soft Dick Grayson look. The same look he gave her when they decided to figure themselves out first before seeing what this could be. It breaks a small part of her, not meaning to, but a small tear falls down her cheek. Dick, being who he is, wipes it away without thought.
Kori takes a deep breath and close her eyes, letting herself feel comforted. Usually she’d just suck it up and be a tough bitch. But after a while…it builds up.
She lets her head rest on his shoulder, taking whatever comfort he’s offering.
“Dick?”
“Yeah?”
“Who were you before this, before Wayne Manor?” she feels his hand tighten in hers. She can feel him contemplating what to say. She didn’t expect him to tell her everything, but she would like to know him better.
“It’s-it’s complicated.” He sighs, the rush of air moving through him.
“Then uncomplicate it.”
He shakes his head grinning slightly, “You’re a pushy person, you know that?”
“Stop stalling, Grayson.” She looks up at him seeing his eyes brighten looking down at her and then looks towards the fire place. But then his eyes became clouded, like he was preparing for something horrible to happen.
“When I was a kid, my parents and I were part of the circus. Hayley’s Circus. We’d travel from city to city preforming all over…” his eyes glazed slightly, watching the fire intently. Kori lets her free hand settle on his heart, letting him know she’s there.
It was enough to help him keep going, “We were called ‘The Flying Graysons’. Our act was the main attraction because we wouldn’t use a safety net…” Dick takes another sip of his nearly empty beer and sets it on the side table.
“Our first night here, in Gotham, a mob boss named Tony Zucco threated Mr. Haly to hire protection while the circus was in town, but refused. Later on during our act…” Dick stops, needing a moment before continuing. “Zucco hired someone to tamper with the trapeze ropes, so when it came to my parents swinging towards me, they fell.”
“Oh, Dick…” Kori’s heart never felt so broken. She could feel Dick tighten his hand around hers, holding on to whatever life line he had here in the present, while working through his troubled past. She could feel his heartbeat fast under her hand. His face was impassive, solely focused on the light of the fire, but his body was reacting for him.
He seemed to come back to himself after a moment, closing his eyes and opening them again to peer down at her. “I was angry for a while after, but then Bruce showed me how to transform that anger into something else. But it took me a few years to realize he turned me into a weapon.”
Kori nods in understanding, not trusting her voice to say much.
“But after I left Gotham, went to Detroit to start over. I hadn’t changed much. I was still doing the same shit just in a different city. But when Rachel came along things changed. I felt myself change. I think I actually had hope things might get better again.
“And they were. Well, besides all the Trigon bullshit and Slade. I think things have been good.”
“Until you came back to Gotham.” Kori added. Dick nods in agreement.
“Yeah, before I came back here and fell back into old habits.”
“You mean going off on your own, finding old friends to fight with and getting shot at? Yeah, sounds about right.” She grins at him, lightening the mood.
“Yeah, that’s me.” His face changed again. Kori is surprised that someone that is well trained to be impassive, he shows all his emotions through his eyes.
“And you?” he asks. Kori looks at him questioningly. “What’s going on with you and Kom?”
Kori scoffs, “Trust me you do not want to know that mess.”
“Try me.”
She contemplates it for a moment, trying to figure out where to start.
“Well…um…” she huffs in frustration. “Listen, the relationship between me and Kom has always been strained. She always had issues following the rules and listening to our parents. It often led her to getting in trouble all the time. She’s my older sister and she always had to rebel.
“As for me, I followed the rules. I did what was expected of me and since I’m-“ Kori stops, realizing she was about to tell Dick she’s a princess, technically a “queen” of Tamaran. But she keeps it to herself.
“I’m just not sure her true intentions here, but I also couldn’t leave her down there with the scientists for the rest of her life. It wasn’t right.”
Dick nods in understanding, “What do you think she’s up to?”
“I have no idea, but I hope she’s changed.” Kori knew it was foolish to believe that, but part of her wants her sister to be better, to do better.
“For the team’s sake, I hope so too. We can’t have a possible threat living with us.” Kori rolls her eyes and untangles herself from Dick’s side, letting go of his hand in the process. She can already feel the cold feeling of loneliness creeping in already, but she shakes it off.
“I should head to bed.”
Dick runs his hand through his hair and stands up, “Shit—Kori, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean-“
“Yes, you did. And you’re right. We have to be careful.”
She turns to leave the room, but not before glancing back one last time. “Thank you for telling me about your past.”
Dick grins in return, watching as Kori ascends up the stairs to her room.
Part of him wants to follow her, missing the warmth he knows she can provide. A warmth the deepest parts of himself remembers all too well. But he shakes himself from the thought and tips back his beer for one last sip before heading to bed.

Under Your Guidance, I Fell in Love - Prologue
You can find future chapters on my AO3! Here, I’ll only post the prologue. I hope you will enjoy my new Shigaraki x Reader project! Gonna be a long one, and to summarise it in tags: slow burn, angst, lov as family, it will get worse before it gets better
Shigaraki x Reader / Prologue
Trained and raised to make sure you fulfill your Master's wishes, you are sent on a mission to make Shigaraki Tomura fall in love with you and grow into the leader he is supposed to be. Soon after joining the League of Villains, complications arise.
AO3 LINK: https://archiveofourown.org/works/33437170/chapters/83061598
--
“Your mission is about to commence, darling,” a cold, deep voice echoes from behind you. Shivers avoid you after years of training and you turn around to come face to face with your Master.
“Of course. The meeting point hasn't changed, I assume?”
All for One only nods and hands you a black sport bag. It's filled with various clothes, hygiene objects, and with some little personal belongings that will soon belong to you and your established persona.
“Go be his guidance, my dear. Make me proud,” you nod and put on a smile. Your mimic muscles fall easily into the practice move. Turning around, you glimpse at All for One for one last time before both of you disappear into the night.
--
It rains heavily as you enter the bar accompanied by Giran. You let out an exhale once you cross the threshold, only to breathe in the stale air from the room. You aren't even fully inside yet and the atmosphere is heavy.
According to your Master, Shigaraki Tomura had already recruited two other members, and even if they did end up in the organization, their rapport was anything but friendly. Toga was too eccentric and Dabi had no problem letting his mouth run as it pleased, ending up in a quarrel between him and your target.
This meeting was supposed to go smoothly, to calm down both Shigaraki Tomura and the new recruits. They needed at least some form of stability and friendly manners that could eventually grow into comradery. And you would do everything in your powers to ensure that the next hour will go swimmingly.
You shake off the water from your coat as you take it off, faking a nervous smile in Giran's direction. After all, you were supposed to be the local murderous sweetheart. Well, at least as much of a sweetheart that a villain could be. More like a nice healer that hates heroes and will do anything to help the fight against them.
Giran nodded and guided you further inside while lighting a cigarette. The door opens with a crack, revealing a dim light of the bar. Kurogiri, the mist man, is standing behind the bar, polishing spotless looking glasses. He seems to be talking in a hushed voice to your target. You can only see his lean figure covered in a black shirt. As expected, he has his family on him.
You quickly take control of your hitched breath. Shigaraki Tomura looks different from the photos you had seen. Even with his back turnt, you notice his slimness and pale hair that actually looks fluffier. It may not feel bad to run your hand through them, you wonder.
The broker lets out a puff before he speaks, not waiting for him to turn around. “Shigaraki, this is (L/N) (Y/N). The healer you asked for. Her criminal record is basically spotless, but that doesn't really mean anything, does it? She can heal you, and herself, and she hates heroes as much as the next guy. I can only assume she will make a fine admission to the team,” he finishes his monologue before smirking at you and going off to the corner.
You take a deep breath, trying not to cringe. Before you can open your mouth, Shigaraki Tomura straightens his back, effectively making you wait like a good subject-to-be. He looks at you over his shoulder. Father still in place as crimson eyes scan over your body, judging your frame.
He scoffs and returns to his glass, one finger carefully circling the edge. “So, how does your quirk work?”
“I can accelerate cell regeneration to restore missing limbs or heal wounds. It works on other people as…”
“Missing limbs, you say?” he finishes his drink as he interrupts you, putting the glass down with a strong thud. You wait for him to continue but even with his face facing the other way, you can say he is deep in thought. Shigaraki Tomura’s fingers braze the hands of his dead relatives until they settle on Father. Gently, it is put down next to the glass.
Suddenly, he turns around to get off the stool and straightens, standing in full height in front of you. You remember his height, weight, and every little detail that is known about him from your files but nothing could prepare you to meet him face to face. His features were softer, a sparkling contrast to the strained expressions he always wore on photos.
The depth of Tomura’s red eyes gained an edge, erasing all softness. Or maybe there never was one to begin with. You realized he was expecting an answer, a slight test on how you managed confrontation.
A wave of confusion ran through you, carefully hidden from your face. You saw the tape of how the recruitment went while preparing for your debut. Mentioning Stain or All Might was a big no-no, unless you wanted to be decayed faster than you could heal, but after the outburst with Toga and Dabi, you expected to find yourself in a similar situation. However, it looked like the manchild was able to actually put some thought into this.
“Yes, sir,” you quickly respond, pushing your chin forward. Before you can elaborate a sharp, unbearable pain starts to cruise through your veins. You let out a scream as you watch your left hand disappear into nothingness. Your life and Master have given you a fair share of pain but nothing could prepare you for the phantom of your limb.
His hand moves away before the decay spreads but the agony stays the same. In horror, you realise you are standing in the puddle of your own blood as he slides back to the chair. Drops of blood fall down in an uneven rhythm from what stayed from your arm. “Heal it then, if you can.”
You want to spit at him, kick him and yell insults, but the sharp voice of your Master in your head reminds you of your mission. And for it, Shigaraki Tomura must, unfortunately, stay alive, and you in his good graces.
Still, you let out a few curses as you focus on your left arm. It takes a few moments before the healing itch registers in your brain over the pain, and soon, you flex your fingers, cracking a few knuckles when it grows back.
You should have expected an outburst like this but you didn’t think you would ever come to harm, not after yesterday Kurogiri stopped everyone from killing each other. Maybe he was too slow to react this time, or rather, Shigaraki Tomura convinced him beforehand not to. From what you knew about his current caretaker and portal man, he was more compassionate than the rest of the villains. Still, ignoring your professionalism, you glare at him and your target as you uncomfortably flex your hand.
Shigaraki Tomura looks as unimpressed as always when he puts Father back onto his face. A low groan and an exhale escapes him once it’s set in place. Tension that you hadn’t noticed before seemed to evaporate from him.
“She may be useful after all, Giran. Sort the payment out with Kurogiri, I’m leaving,” with these words, he sets off to a long hall, not bothering to look at anyone in the room. You can only bite your tongue and remember your Master’s words. You were trained to handle him, take care of him, and a few days back you were fully confident you would fulfill All for One’s wishes, but after spending a few minutes in your target’s presence, the harsh reality only laughed at your hopes. Making Shigaraki Tomura fall in love with you and grow up certainly wasn’t going to be easy.

Nemesis - Part 2
I’m so glad that you guys are enjoying this new series! Work was pretty hectic for me today, but here is the next part, albeit a little late.
For the last vote, A won out, meaning that Hero is going to attempt to a more direct approach to aiding Villain. Though, the things they see in this part may just change their mind.
CW//Shapeshifting, cartoon violence, insults, being called ‘worthless,’ interventions, residential medical facilities, flashbacks
The blow came out of nowhere.
It was a rhetorical statement as much as it was a completely literal one. That didn’t matter in the moment, however-- the fist had very much struck Hero in the back of their head, causing them to stumble forwards.
Before them, their assailant rematerialized from thin air, gasping with a smirk upon their face. They blew on their knuckles, as if blowing smoke from a firearm’s muzzle. Stupid, arrogant kid.
“Come on!” The villain taunted. “I thought you were supposed to be good.”
Hero didn’t bother to transform before they leapt; they did that mid-air, curled fingers turning into canine claws before them. Said claws were aimed truly at the villain a few feet ahead, directed at their panicked expression.
Suddenly, Hero felt to be on the edge of a roof. Facing a completely different foe.
Throwing themself to the ground was not a conscious choice, but it was the action that they took.
The hero in lupine shape skidded to the ground, head spinning as it struck concrete. By the time they were back to all four paws, their opponent was long gone. In their wake, the door slammed closed.
Why did they...
No. This villain looked nothing like them. They shook their head, turning back to human form in order to begin tearing out the door.
The laboratory was a nightmare to navigate. White walls stretched far further than they had any right to, all looking terribly identical. Had it been any other situation, Hero would have found themself hopelessly lost.
But they could make a pretty good guess where their target had run off to. It was probably the hall where the shouting and banging was emanating from.
Hero skidded about a corner, forgetting momentarily that in human form they lacked dewclaws, causing them nearly to fall. They did not, however, turning the corner and stopping before they collided with the active battle.
Leader swore loudly as they failed to land a blow on the villain. However, their attacker missed in turn, putting themself in such a position that allowed Teammate to grab them from behind.
The villain yelled and struggled. Almost as if they’d just fallen from the roof of a building, and were now screaming, fighting back against those trying to hold them down.
Hero was on a collision course with Teammate before they so much as realized it. Halfway through the movement, their body turned from human to that of a far more formidable wildcat, easily sending their friend sprawling on the white tile. In turn, the villain their friend had been restraining freed themself.
Leader was too stunned, in the moment, to react. By the time everyone in the corridor had returned to their senses, their opponent had long since dematerialized and left.
Leaving only the three Heroes in the hallway. Two heads turned to stare at the third.
Hero’s feline ears turned back a moment, an expression that was translated to flushing as they returned to human form. Teammate pried themself off the floor, brushing dust from their uniform.
“Sorry.” Hero dipped their head.
“Why the hell did you do that?” Leader snapped. In comparison to the quiet building, it sounded like a gong being struck. “We almost had them!”
“I was, uh, trying to get them on the ground.”
“I had it handled.” Teammate commented in a far calmer tone of voice. “I don’t think we have any chance of catching up to them now, though.”
“No. Probably not. No thanks to someone.” Leader shook their head. “We were so damn close.”
“And they got the medicines too.” Teammate added.
“They what?”
“The medicines?”
“I thought those were secured.”
“Well... They were. And then they took them.”
“Oh my god, you two are stupid.” Leader hissed through gritted teeth. “Hero, what happened in the other room? I thought you had them pinned.”
“They got away.”
“You two are so stupid. I asked for a team, and this is what I get... Worthless. Well, it’s a lost cause, now. Let’s get back to the car.”
Hero and Teammate hung their heads, but weren’t about to argue. They began their walk out of the building in silence, a silence that continued until they had traversed a few flights of stairs. That was when Leader spoke up, once again, some of the most acute venom seeming to have left their voice.
“Hero... You seem nervous.”
“I’m not.”
“I know you can fight better than what I just saw. I want to know why.”
“I guess... I guess I’m not sure.”
“Are you feeling alright?”
“Yes.”
“Are you sure?”
No. Of course they weren’t sure, because it was a lie. The night prior, after their diner meeting with Hacker, they had not succeeded in getting a single second of sleep. Now, they felt like their legs-- however many they happened to have at the moment-- were made of jello.
“I’m sure. I just need some sleep.”
“And then you’ll be back to normal?”
“Yes.”
“Good. I need my best fighter back in shape. Villains don’t catch themselves, y’know.”
Except, sometimes, they did. Sometimes they tripped, right off the edge of a roof. And, sometimes, their fall haunted the dreams of the hero who had caused it.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The dorms at HQ were a lot of things. They were cramped, and cluttered, and the thermostats never seemed to work quite right. All of that, though, was normal. A life spent living in apartments and dorms had gotten Hero plenty used to making themself comfortable in small quarters.
The bad thing about them was that, living in an enclosed space with the same people for years on end, it became just about impossible to pretend they weren’t home when someone knocked on the door.
That didn’t mean they didn’t try every single time, however.
Hero nestled themself further under the blankets that covered them, burying their head beneath their pillow in an attempt to block out the incessant knocking. Eventually, they gave up, shouting back:
“Hero isn’t home. You can’t come in.”
“If Hero isn’t home how are they talking to me?” Came Teammate’s joking cadence.
“This is a recording. Please come back later or not at all.”
“Well, can I at least come in and talk to a recording of Hero?”
“Fine.”
Hero rolled over, staring at the ceiling a moment before getting off the bed to let their friend inside. They were smiling, which was automatically a red flag.
Teammate found themself a seat on the couch shoved into the corner of the dorm, while Hero returned to their bed, collapsing dramatically onto their back.
“I have a feeling that you know why I’m here.” Teammate started, in that weird voice they used when trying to calm down a civilian.
“What are you, my therapist?”
“No. But I am worried about you.”
“I told Leader already. I’m just tired.”
“Is that why you tackled me out of nowhere?”
“I was trying to tackle the villain.”
“While I was already holding them?”
“Can you just drop it? I’m fine. I just need to go to bed early tonight.”
“it’s not just today, though. You’ve been acting weird all week. Maybe longer.”
“Have not.”
“When you froze up on that roof?”
“Nope.”
“When you pretended to be sick so you didn’t have to go to that ceremony at the university?”
“Had a cold.”
“When you just let a villain punch you in the face?”
“I- Why do you have to be right all the time?”
“Not all the time. But I think everyone has been getting a bit worried about you. You haven’t been acting yourself... We just want to help. Are you sick? You can be honest with me.”
“It’s not that. I’m fine. Physically, I’m fine. So I should be fine and dandy.”
Teammate nodded.
“The anniversary.”
“You remembered?”
“They had it on the news. Though I have a feeling you didn’t need any help remembering.”
“No.”
“How many days has it been, now?”
“374.”
“Nine days since the anniversary of Villain’s capture. Nine days you’ve been acting weird. That’s an awfully interesting coincidence.”
“I’m worried about them.” Hero dipped their head. “I can’t- I can hardly sleep.”
“You’re worried about Villain?”
“Well- I’m not worried about them. Of course I’m not worried about them, they’re a villain. But...”
“But?”
“It’s been over a year, and there’s been no news. You’d think they’d be like, fighting back, or trying to escape, or something.”
“Is that what you’re worried about, them escaping?”
How were they supposed to escape when they couldn’t even open their eyes?
“I guess so, yeah. It doesn’t seem right for them to be so docile like that.”
“The rehabbers are very good.”
“I know they are. But Villain is... they’re the worst! When they were captured the city threw a parade! They’ve hurt so many people. And now they’re just gone.”
“You think they’re planning something?”
“I guess.”
“Well... why don’t you go see them?”
“What?”
“It’s not like they’re being held on some secret Alcatraz. The rehab place is just across the city. They’ll probably let you in if you just go up and ask.”
“You really think that would work?”
“Why not? Villain is probably just going to like, spit on you or something, but if it’s worrying you this much, just go see them. You’ll see that they’re under control, and then maybe you won’t tackle me anymore?”
“I’ll try not to.” Hero chuckled. “You think that’s gonna work?”
“It’s worth a try. Besides, maybe Villain will be better, this time. Those rehabbers are crazy good at their jobs. I don’t think a single villain has come out of their still being, like, evil. They have a one hundred percent success rate, as far as I know.”
Almost one hundred percent.
Almost.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This was stupid.
It was the only thing Hero could think about, sitting there in the parking lot, staring at the building with its cute little picket fence and brightly-colored exterior.
It was a stupid plan. They had spent so long the night prior, overthinking the few brief words they had exchanged with Hacker.
Villain needed to leave that place.
At the very least, they needed to... Hero didn’t know what they needed. They needed to be contained, certainly. They were dangerous. Too dangerous to be free. But they at least deserved to be awake.
Did they?
Yes. Of course they did. If asked, Hero was unsure if they could truly defend their position on the matter, but they knew that Villain did not deserve to be in the state that they currently suffered. It wasn’t right.
That wit. That tongue. Those sharp, intelligent eyes.
Villain did not deserve to be drowned in sedatives until they could no longer remember their own name.
It did not matter where they went. Where they were contained. So long as they were allowed to be awake. Allowed to live.
They at least deserved that much.
But... Hero had no power over such things. Every possible plan they had concocted fell apart as soon as they tried to think it through. Certainly, despite its cutesy exterior, this building was heavily guarded. Even if they did manage to get Villain out of the facility, where would they take them? Hell, as soon as they were out, Villain would probably tear their throat out!
They should have just gone right back to the HQ and forgotten the whole affair. But that image of their foe, dead to the world, would not leave their mind. It was burned into their eyelids. They saw it when they blinked.
Hero had no plan. But, they had a car, and a near complete lack of self restraint.
They had no intention of going in guns blazing. They’d be taken out in seconds, and would probably land in the very same facility, being “rehabilitated.” But, if they could at least get in, then that was a significant hurdle leapt.
And they had the perfect plan to achieve that step.
Hero’s hadn’t even realized just how white their knuckles had grown from having gripped the steering wheel with such force for so long. Their fingers ached as they removed them from the wheel, exiting the vehicle.
For a moment, they stood there.
The only sort of barrier between the facility and the outside world was a white picket fence, only a few feet in height. A moderately athletic cat could jump it. A villain would have no difficulty.
Beyond the fence, the building looked almost like any medical clinic. Decorative windchimes hung from the awning overtop the entrance, which was little more than a pair of glass doors. There wasn’t even a visible lock. From either side of the main part of the structure, wings of patient rooms stretched, their windows decorated with childish crafts made of construction paper and glue.
It looked more like a civilian hospital than something holding the city’s most dangerous criminals.
Hero hated just how nervous they felt, opening the gate to the picket fence and approaching the front door. Their suspicions were correct-- the doors were unlocked, and a bell above them even chimed as they were opened.
The lobby beyond was small, consisting of only a single desk, at which a lab-coated person typed on a computer. As Hero entered, they looked up. Their eyes widened.
“Hero?” Their mouth was almost agape. “I didn’t think we were expecting a visit from you.”
“Sorry about that. It’s kind of a more... spur of the moment thing.”
“Oh? How can we help you?”
Hero approached the desk, trying to hide the way their finger refused to stop twitching.
“I...” Their shoulders slumped. They weren’t an actor by any means, but they had gotten plenty of practice in lying to Leader about how long they had spent in the gym. “A bit over a week ago, it was the one year anniversary of Villain’s capture.”
“Was it? Time flies, I suppose.”
“I was wondering if I could see them.”
“Oh? Any particular reason?”
“I’m just a little... suspicious. I want to make sure they’re doing alright. That they aren’t planning anything.”
“Hm... Well, I can understand your concern, but I assure you that Villain has been a model patient.”
“Even so... Can I see them?”
Hero could see the tips of the Labcoat’s ears growing red.
“Let me talk to the head doctor.” They stood from their desk, notably turning off their computer as they did so. “I’ll be back in just a moment.”
“No need.”
At the back of the small lobby area, a door opened, revealing a man wearing a pair of blue scrubs and a warm smile.
“I’m right here, Labcoat. Is there something you need- Oh my goodness, Hero in the flesh! For what do we get the honor?”
“Um-”
“They want to see Villain.”
That dropped Head Doctor’s smile pretty quick.
“I see.” They nodded, nearing the desk. “Wanting to visit the old nemesis, hm?”
“I just want to make sure they’re doing alright. That they aren’t... planning anything.”
Head Doctor frowned a moment, before sighing.
“I’m sorry, Hero. And to think you came all this way. But I’m going to have to say no. You see, Villain has had a hard day, today. Usually they’re very well-behaved, but they had some trouble today. I don’t think it would be the best idea to rile them up like that, right now. I’m terribly sorry.”
Hero put their hand in their pocket, ensuring that the doctors could not see as they balled it into a fist.
“I understand.” They nodded, trying their best not to grit their teeth. “I’m sorry to hear that.”
“It’s terribly unfortunate. If you had just come another day... But I don’t want to waste your time entirely. And it’s such a terribly long drive across town.” Again, Head Doctor’s countenance was brightened by a grin. “You won’t be able to see your nemesis today, but how about a tour? You can speak to our other patients, if you would like. They’re eating lunch right about now.”
A tour.
Hero could work with that.
“That would be great. Are you sure it’s... Are you sure it’s safe? Not that I’m worried or anything, but.”
“Of course it’s safe. It’s always safe, here. Come on. I’m sure everyone will be delighted to see you.”
Yeah. Delighted.
Head Doctor’s blue scrubs rippled under the bright florescents as they turned, heading back towards that door at the rear of the room. It felt almost too good to be true, but Hero wasted no time in following suit.
This door, unlike the others, was metal, and required a key to be passed through. It opened with a rather heavy creak, and clicked solidly as it closed behind Hero. They almost jumped.
If they were being quite honest, they had never really thought about where villains went after they were locked up. Like a hunting dog, they had little care where their prey ended up, only that they retrieved it. If they had to guess where their fallen foes ended up, they would have likely described a well-secured concrete building, complete with snipers and barbed wire.
Not a cute little hospital ward.
The door from the lobby opened into a wide-open, carpeted space, decorated by several sofas and a television, alongside a few well-stocked bookshelves. Beyond it, three hallways sprouted-- one to the front, and one to the left or the right.
Every door was wood.
“We call this the commons.” Head Doctor explained with a smile. “A sort of... hang out space. And those two halls lead to the patients rooms. Not much to see there.”
In an awfully hurried manner, they lead Hero forwards, into the hallway that led straight out from the commons. It was wide, with several doors on either side. Yet, not a single window.
“This is where me and my colleagues work, most of the the time. It’s mostly offices for our therapists. And that one, there, is my office.”
During the whole explanation, they did not stop walking forwards. They only did so at the end of the hallway, where a door was embedded.
“Um... This is the dining hall, just past this door. Everyone is eating lunch right now. I assure you that it’s perfectly safe, but I understand if you don’t want to see some of your, um, old foes.”
“It’s fine.” Hero did their best to smile. “Is Villain in there?”
“No. They decided to eat lunch in their room today.” Head Doctor chimed, opening the door. From behind it, there was no sound.
Nothing that Head Doctor said had been untrue. The dining hall was clean, immaculately so, scattered with plastic tables and chairs, both painted to look as though they were made of wood. Each table only sat two people, and most of them were full.
Full of the city’s worst. Villains who had hurt people, who had killed dozens.
They seemed happy enough, at least based upon the expressions on their faces. It was just about as typical as a cafeteria during mealtime could get.
Except for the quiet.
Even with the two dozen or so people sitting and eating, not a single one spoke. Each and every one of them seemed intent on sitting and eating the food before them.
Hero scanned the room a moment, gaze eventually setting upon one of the few tables with an empty chair. They didn't recognize the villain very well. They may have had ice-related powers, or something of the like. But they had fought, at least once. And Hero didn’t remember them being that horrible.
It was something. It was the best they were going to get.
“Head Doctor?” They spoke up.
“Yes, Hero?”
“There’s someone else here, I want to speak to.” They gestured towards the villain, sitting alone. Staring at their food. Engrossed. “We used to, um, we fought a lot. I want to talk to them.”
“Oh? Well, that’s just fine by me. It’s always good to reconcile. They’re a model patient. Do you want anything to eat?”
“No thank you.”
“Alright, then. I’ll be back at the end of lunch, if that sounds alright?”
“That’s just fine.”
“Splendid! I will see you then, Hero.”
Hero ducked their head in agreement, waiting until the doctor had left before approaching the table. They moved slowly, taking a seat across from the villain that they couldn’t so much as remember the name of. Even as they sat down, the person across from the table did not so much as bat an eye.
They only did so when Hero spoke up:
“Um, hello.”
It was oddly slow, the way in which the villain raised their head. They placed down their fork gingerly, smiling.
“Hello, Hero. I haven’t seen you in quite some time.”
“Uh, you neither. How are you doing?”
“I am doing just fine, Hero.” It was terribly stilted, the way in which they spoke, as though they had to carefully consider each word. “How are you doing?”
“Fine.”
“Did you come here to visit me?”
“Um, not you specifically. I came here to visit Villain.”
The edges of the villain’s smile flickered a moment, as if continuing to keep them upturned was quickly becoming a major effort.
“You should leave this place, Hero.” Even as they said it, their smile never fell. “It’s not worth it.”
Their hand gripped around the handle of their fork.
“Do you know where they are? Where Villain is?”
“Yes I do, Hero. I did not think you would care. It is you who put them here.”
“I didn’t do anything. Are they-” They looked around, expecting to see at least one guard, one nurse, one orderly. But the dining hall was barren of every person except villains. “Are they okay?”
“If I tell you that, I will end up like them. You do not want to be in this place, Hero. You should leave this place.”
“Um-” A single drop of sweat dripped down the side of their face, tracing their jawline. “I really suddenly need to use the bathroom.”
“It’s right there.” The villain raised a hand, pointing to a door labelled ‘16 - Restrooms′. “The bathroom is in room 43.”
Hero didn’t have to be given the hint twice.

Thanks so much for reading! Just like last time, there are two options along with every part of this story. Alongside each options is a question, so that you guys can give more specific suggestions if you so wish. The option that receives the most votes will be the choice that our Hero makes!
A.) Risk it all and attempt a prison break - Should Hero attempt to free the others, as well?
B.) Don’t take the risk. Leave and reconsider - Should Hero tell anyone what they saw?

Electricity
Marcus Moreno x Female Reader
Summary: Marcus uses your piercings to tease you at a Heroics work party
Warnings: compete p*rn without plot (sorry not sorry), smut, nipple play, use of his metal super power, masturbation, penetrative sex
The loud music and chatter filled the room as you lazily stirred your drink while leaning up against the bar. Another Heroic Headquarter work event and another night your boyfriend had to spend the time appeasing his bosses and any government officials who wanted a photo with the leader of the team of superheroes.
Not that you weren’t proud of him and didn’t want to be here. You loved getting to see him receive the recognition for all the hard work he put in to keep people in this city - in this world - safe. It was that very work that had him trail home exhausted every Friday night, only just staying awake long enough to eat dinner and ask about your and Missy’s day before falling asleep on your lap as you watched whatever old movie was on the TV. You were glad to be by his side as well. He usually kept you beside him throughout the night, his arm wrapped securely around your waist and placing a kiss to your cheek whenever he got the chance, but you managed to get five minutes away from the crowd as you leaned against the bar.
“Lonely?” a voice came from next to you and you turned to see Miracle Guy leaning at the bar as well.
“Just taking a break, that’s all,” you smiled back before taking a sip of your drink as your eyes searched for Marcus.
“Where is Marcus anyway, I’ve not seen him in a while?” he asked as he slid along the bar closer to you.
“Not far, I-” you stopped yourself in time before the gasp left your mouth as you felt a twinge of electricity against your nipple piercing. Marcus, you scorned inside your mind as your eyes worked harder to find him.
With every inch Miracle Guy closed the gap between you until your elbows were touching, the vibrations that ran through the metal bar on your nipples got stronger and stronger until your knuckles were white from how hard you were gripping the side of the counter.
“Are you okay?” Miracle Guy reached out to grab your arm as he noticed the redness that was creeping up your cheeks.
“Fine! Ju- just a bit warm,” you waved him off as you stood away from the bar, “I’m going outside for some fresh- air!” you all but shouted the last word as Marcus sent a particularly strong bolt through the metal.
You didn’t wait for Miracle Guy to respond before you were working your way through the crowd towards the door, quickly walking into the toilets and locking the door behind you. The buzzing finally stopped for a moment as you held yourself up against the sink, catching your breath as you splashed some cool water on your chest. Dammit Marcus.
You and Marcus had been together for a while now but you still weren’t used to the way he could manipulate the metal on your body to make you feel so good. You remembered the first time he noticed your nipple piercings, the playful smirk that crossed his face as he looked down at you and used his powers to send the electricity through your body. Looking at the watch on your wrist you knew Marcus would have to stay for at least another twenty minutes before you could make a sneaky exit. Just as you splashed some more water on your chest, Marcus’s voice came from the other side of the locked door as he called your name.
“Are you okay?” you could hear the smirk in his voice.
“I’ll be out in a minute!” you called back.
Deciding to have some fun of your own and knowing Marcus would wait by the door until you were out, you reached up your dress and shimmied your panties down your legs. Laughing at the ridiculousness of your actions you switched off the tap and walked towards the door. You unlocked it, opening it enough to see Marcus waiting at the other side.
“Everything okay?” he teased.
“Everything’s perfect,” you laughed back, “but I need you to hold onto something for me until we can go home.”
“Anything,” his face a little more serious now but the playful glint still in his eyes.
You held your hand out waiting for him to reach his out as well before placing your panties in his hand and closing his fist around them.
“Can you keep them safe for me?” you batted your eyelashes at him as you opened the door more to walk out now.
Marcus’s mouth was left hanging open, unable to catch up with his mind that was going a hundred miles an hour. His eyes grew darker as he pushed them into his pocket and watched you walk back into the hall where everyone else was, sure that you were deliberately swaying your hips more than normal. There was no way he was going to last much longer without talking you home, his cock already straining against his trousers as he thought about you bare under that dress. Shit, you really had played him at his own game.
When you reached the door to go back into the hall, you turned around, sending a wink his way and you could see the growl that rumbled through his chest as he began to stalk towards you. You had barely stepped a foot inside before Marcus was by your side and his hand gripping onto your elbow.
“Get your coat,” he whispered in your ear before walking off to say goodbye to his boss.
You couldn’t stop the smile that was plastered across your face as you walked back to where you had been sitting with Marcus earlier, pulling your jacket on quickly and lifting your bag over your shoulder before quickly walking back to the door. Marcus was by your side almost instantly, taking your hand in his as he marched to the exit.
Your legs were only just keeping up with him as he made his way to the stairs, slowing his pace to walk by your side as he helped you down them with your heels on, before he picked the pace back up again. You were thankful Marcus decided to drive tonight, the valet having the car round as soon as he seen Marcus walk towards the exit.
There still hadn’t been a word said between you as Marcus helped you into the car before closing the door and making his way round to the driver’s side, pulling out of the car park. You shifted in your seat, looking over at Marcus as you opened your legs wider in the seat. His eyes never left the road as he brought one hand over, slowly squeezing up your thighs before pushing under your dress and swiping up your folds, chuckling to himself as you moaned and moved your hips against his fingers.
“So wet already,” he teased, bringing his fingers up to his mouth to taste, “you’ll have to wait till we’re home to get any more. You were bad in there weren’t you? Getting me hard so I had to leave early.”
“You started it,” you tutted as you sat up in the seat.
“Don’t know what you mean,” he turned to smirk at you at the red light, the familiar vibrations starting again.
“Marcus,” you whined, you head falling back against the head rest.
“Think it’s time to see if I can get you to cum just from that,” he grinned, setting the car off as soon as the light turned green.
The rest of the drive home felt like eternity as your leg bounced up and down in anticipation. As soon as you were pulled up in the driveway, Marcus had the engine off and was around helping you out of the car in an instant.
“I’m going to check everything is off, you go upstairs and wait for me,” he said as he unlocked the door, holding it open to let you inside, “I want you naked and on the bed by the time I’m up.”
You could feel your thighs clench together at his words. It was only every so often Marcus was this commanding but you loved it. You were already unzipping your dress by the time you got to the top of the stairs, leaving it on the floor by the bedroom door along with your bra and shoes.
You climbed to the top of the bed, sitting up against the headboard as you waited for Marcus. You thighs started rubbing together to release some of the pressure when you heard his heavy footsteps climbs the stairs. When he entered the bedroom his eyes were dark, his glasses now off as he stared down at you on the bed. He began to roll his sleeves up as he stalked towards the bed, kneeling on the end of the bed and reaching for your ankles.
“You look so good laid out like this for me,” he moaned, his eyes trailing down your body before looking back up at your eyes, “think you can be good for me?”
You nodded, holding back the whine in your throat.
“I need to hear you say it,” his voice went lower.
“I’ll be a good girl, for you,” you whined as his hands reached up to your shins before pushing your legs open as he gripped your thighs.
“All for me.”
The vibrations began to flow through the bars on your nipples, making your head hit back against the headboard as you moaned. You could hear him chuckle as he stood back off the bed, slowly unbuttoning his shirt as he watched you writhing on the bed. Your tongue left your mouth to wet your lips as he pushed the shirt off his shoulders, letting it drop to the floor.
He began working to undo his buckle, letting his trousers drop to the floor along with his shirt as a particularly strong vibration moved through the metal bar and your back arched off the headboard. Marcus left his boxers on as he climbed into bed next to you, moving your body forward to sit behind you.
He wrapped an arm around your stomach and held your back against his chest, his legs surrounding yours. His other hand reached up to move your hair from his neck, freeing the soft skin of your neck to his lips so he can press sloppy kisses from behind your ear and along your shoulder.
“Marcus, I want you” you whined, your head rolling back against his shoulder and looking up at him.
“I know, baby, soon. Tell me how good it feels,” he leaned down and murmured against your lips.
“S-so good, Marcus. Think I’m gonna- gonna,” before you could finish your sentence a wave crashed through you, Marcus holding you tight against him as your body arched away from him. Marcus leaned down and took your lips in his to catch the rest of your moans, groaning at how you moaned his name into his mouth. When you finally relaxed against him he pulled away slightly, resting his forehead against yours.
“Making you cum without even touching you,” he growled against your lips.
“Marcus,” you whined back.
“I know, baby, I know,” he kissed you once more gently, “you did so good. So good,” he kissed down your neck before moving from behind you and pulling you to lie down against the pillows.
He pulled his boxers down, letting his cock spring free before he covered your body with his as he balanced himself on his forearms by your head. Before he moved again, Marcus leaned down and caught your lips in his in a needy kiss, moaning as he moved his hips against yours. He broke away for only a moment, lifting your leg to wrap it around his waist before pushing into you in one slow movement. He caught both your moans in a kiss as he started rocking against you with sharp hits of his hips against yours, lifting your leg higher on his waist.
“Need you to cum again, baby,” he panted, sitting back on his knees and lifting your legs onto his shoulders.
He kept his hips moving in sharp thrusts against you, his hand coming down to rub against your clit.
“One more, let me hear you” he panted again and you nodded.
His free hand gripped tight at your hip, stopping your head from hitting against the headboard, and one of your hands reached down to grip onto his fingers. He smirked down at you, watching as your mouth opened in moans that didn’t quite form into words. He knew you were close as your hand gripped tighter on his fingers and so leaned down onto his forearms, your legs tight between your bodies as he continued to drive into you.
Your second orgasm of the night hit more powerfully than the second, moaning his name over and over as you gripped tight onto his arms. When your body relaxed he moved your legs back around his waist, his thrusts becoming sloppy before he came with your name leaving his mouth.
He could barely hold his weight off of you, letting his head rest against your chest as he caught his breath. Your hands found their way into the curls at the back of his head, scratching lazily as you came back down to earth.
“I love you,” he sighed, kissing your chest before lifting his head to look up at you.
“I love you,” you cupped his cheek, bringing his face to kiss his lips.
He finally rolled off you, pulling you onto his chest and kissing your forehead.
“I need to clean up,” you whispered into his chest.
“Soon, just- soon,” he sighed, squeezing you closer against him.
Not long after, you heard his breathing steady and small snores come from him. You would get up soon to clean up but for now you would let him cuddle you tight to his chest.

“I done been down so long, lost hope, I done came down so hard, I slowed. Honesty, forever, all a real nigga want.”                  —Kendrick Lamar
Word Count: 1.3K Pairing: Kirishima Eijirou x Reader Context: Mafia!AU. Kirishima’s last relationship was pretty shitty and he’s scared of it happening again :/ Warnings: explicit language, mentions of cheating
All Characters are 18+
A/N: Bakugo should be a relationship counselor or something. He’s a little rough around the edgeds, but he makes some pretty good points. Enjoy <3
Kirishima Eijirou | Loyalty
“I don’t fucking like this.”
Kirishima sighed as he swirled the drink in his hand. “I heard you the first time, man.”
“There’s other ways to get what we want besides walking into enemy territory like idiots.”
“This is the only way to get the information we need tonight Bakubro and you know that.”
A matching pair of red eyes irritatingly glared at him. “So you’re just alright with what they’re doing?”
“I never said that.”
“Whatever,” Bakugo hissed. He smacked his teeth before looking away at the bustling crowd.
To finalize a truce, the Bakugo family had been invited to their old rival’s weekly mansion party. It was a cheap way to make amends in Bakugo’s opinion, but considering how exclusive the Rior family was with their parties, it was basically a peace treaty.
The young yakuza leader hadn’t planned to go. However, his intel heard wind of a foreign group regarding illegal dealings on their turf. So they were here to scope out the place, leaving his stealth team—you, Sero, Kaminari, and Mina—to dig up some info. Bakugo and Kirishima were back up.
Bakugo dug a finger beneath the corner of his mask to itch his skin.
“Shitty mask—who the hell does masquerade balls anymore?” he grumbled.
“We’ll only be here for an hour more and then you won’t have to worry about the stupid mask again,” Kirishima reminded.
The slightly sharp tone from the red-head’s voice made the explosive blonde glance over. Despite his aggravation, Katsuki was well aware of the fact that Kirishima didn’t like this mission any more than he did.
Not because there was a good chance the party would get shot up. Well, that was a heafty part of it. But it was mostly because it involved you confronting your ex who happened to have some information they were looking for.
Eijirou’s feelings for you wasn’t a mystery to anyone—including yourself. He made it clear that he only had eyes for you. You luckily returned his feelings. Yet, he still held back.
And it was because of that one night where a bottle of whiskey and a couple of tears gave him suspicion that you might still be hung up about the man who last broke your heart.
The same man that Kirishima had been eyeing like a hawk for the past twenty minutes.
Bakugo followed his line of sight to see that you and Awase were deep in conversation. To anyone else, it appeared like old friends catching up. But they knew otherwise.
Awase took whatever chance he got to touch you. Whether it was to tap your arm after a corny joke or to move you away from uncoordinated guests. He laughed a little too hard and smiled a little too wide to be considered friendly. But what really sold him out was the longing gaze he bore.
He wanted you back. You knew that and you played it to your advantage.
From what they could hear in the earpiece, you were working the hell out of him. And as much as he didn’t want to admit it, it rubbed Kirishima the wrong way.
“Stare any harder and you’ll set the bastard on fire,” Bakugo snorted.
The crimson-clad man blinked out of his trance and turned away in slight embarrassment.
“I was just making sure they were okay,” he muttered.
Katsuki hummed unconvincingly. An uncomfortable silence passed over the two. Kirishima’s tense aura was throwing him off and he hated how it even bothered him in the first place.
He put his hands in his pocket and inwardly groaned over the conversation they were about to have.
“You really like Y/N, don’t you?”
Kirishima made a surprised sound in his throat.
“Huh?”
“You heard me, shitty hair,” Bakguo gritted. “Don’t make me repeat myself!”
There was another pause before a low chuckle left Kiri’s lips. “Oh. That obvious?” He looked up at you before his gaze softened upon seeing you smile. “Yeah. I do. More than I can say.”
“Do you trust them?”
“…Bro, what?”
An angry vein nearly popped out of the blonde’s forehead. “Are you dumb or are you deaf!? Stop trying to make me fucking repeat myself!” he yelled.
“Sorry! Sorry! I’m just not used to having these kinds of conversations with you!” Kirishima nervously laughed.
“Well if you don’t want my help then you can fuck off—”
“No, that’s not what I meant!” he interrupted. Eijirou adopted a solemn expression as he rubbed his arm in thought. “I—Of course I trust Y/N. Just like all of you. I trust you all with my life.”
Katsuki put a hand on his shoulder, forcing him to meet his gaze. “Now you know that’s not what I meant. You and Y/N obviously have a thing for each other but you two are dragging the other along.”
“It’s more complicated than that, Bakugo. I’m trying to give them space to heal—”
“For them or for you? As far as I’m concerned, they’re just fine.”
“But that night—”
“That night was three months ago, Kirishima. Y/N is not your ex. Let it go.”
Kirishima glowered at his friend and snapped. “Easy for you to say! You weren’t the one that got cheated on for two fucking years!”
The volume of his voice created a small feedback within the earpieces.
“What was that?” Sero asked.
“Is everyone okay?” Kaminari followed up.
Mina tuned in. “I’m good.”
You quickly hummed in affirmation before going back to your conversation.
“I hit my earpiece. My bad,” Kirishima mumbled.
With that being said, everyone went back to their duties. Bakugo coolly waited for his friend’s breathing to calm before speaking.
“You good?”
“Yeah,” Kirishima sighed. “I didn’t mean to blow up like that. Sorry.”
“I get it. Touchy subject,” Bakugo curtly noted. “I’ll just say this. Not because I really care about what happens between you two, but because your moping pisses me off.”
A smirk spread across Eijirou’s lips. He shook his head but listened for his friend’s words.
“The only person getting in the way of you two being together is you. I know you’re wary because of that shit rag you dated before, but you can’t expect every partner after to treat you the same way. Y/N already trusts that you won’t do them like their ex did. If you love them, why can’t you do the same?”
“How do you know they trust me?”
Bakugo tilted his head. “Maybe if you opened your damn ears up, you’d know where their loyalty lies.”
“Huh—?”
“Thank you for this!” you said as you slipped the note into your pocket.
“Anything for you, bambi,” Awase smiled. You were about to take your leave when he held your waist. “Actually, Y/N. I was thinking we could plan something later. To catch up and maybe continue where we left off?”
Kirishima tensed as the blue-eyed man pulled you closer. He was about to turn away when you removed the hands from your waist and took a step back.
You weren’t hesitant in your answer.
“I’m sorry, Awase. But no. You were the one that said we wouldn’t work, remember? Besides, I have someone else I’m waiting for.”
Kirishima’s eyes widened.
Awase looked saddened but nodded respectfully. “Ah. Another man stole your heart.” You gave him an apologetic smile to which he chuckled. He brought your knuckles to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on them. “Whoever he is, he’s a lucky man.”
“I would be lucky to have him.” You pulled back your hand and met defeated cerulean eyes. “Goodbye, Awase.”
“…Goodbye, Y/N.”
You watched as he left and waited until he disappeared before telling the team you retrieved the info. As they cheered, your eyes wondered into the crowd before they met a pair of crimson irises that sparkled with something you hadn’t seen before.
Despite your curiosity, a wide smile spread across your lips as you gave the two men a thumbs up.
Eijirou remained frozen until a hand nearly shoved him towards the ground.
“Well, shitty hair? What are you waiting for?” Bakugo grunted. He gave him an encouraging smirk. “Go get your s/o.”
Kirishima grinned. He didn’t need to be told twice.

Summary/Pre-Requisite: Youngbin and Y/N are in a well established relationship. But it isn't enough.
1.6k words
Youngbin smiled at the small box in his hand. He can't believe he is actually going to do this. How can something as little as this be the source of so much joy, he didn't know. Maybe it was her. Or the fact that it was for her, from him. An eternal promise to love her till his last day, last hour, last minute and final breath. Well there is still much time to worry about that now though.
Loving Y/N is definitely the best decision he took without having to take it. Loving her, was as easy as breathing the fresh morning air. Listening to her talk was his favourite sound in the entire universe. Watching her dance goofily is his ideal view, other than when she's paying attention to something. Her face looks so cute when she's concentrating, he almost feels like he can cry over her adorableness.
Watching her from across the room, her movements, the way she smiles and makes everyone around her laugh with her silly jokes only adds to one of the many reasons why he loves her. She is the brightest light in his life, illuminating his existence with unfiltered joy and eternal love and affection.
He loves it when she snuggles up to him, wrapping her small arms around his torso and asks him what he's doing with her honey sweet voice, never fails to make his heart melt and burst with adoration. He loves it when she sleepily moves closer to him, like a pair of magnets, because she feels cold and knows that she can always rely on him to keep her warm.
He loves it when she bonds with his members and treat them and scold them like they are her children. Although he loves it more when she becomes a source of reassurance not only to him but also to his little brothers. He loves it when she helps them with anything, no matter how small the help may be. Since he is treated like the Dad of the group, Y/N automatically became the Mom and he couldn't wish for someone more perfect then her for that role.
He loves her understanding nature, her positive spirit, her overly motivating presence, her genuine compliments and concern. He loves the way she looks at him, like he's the only man in a room full of people. Her eyes reflecting the same twinkles of his eyes, with just as much love when he looks at her.
He loves when she slightly shuts her eyes when he moves her hair out of her face. He loves it when her small frame hugs him so tight he can barely stand still. He loves it when she plays with his hair when he takes a nap on her chest. He loves how her hand fits into his perfectly, like pieces of a puzzle.
If there was one thing he could do again, it would be to go back in time and fall in love with her all over again for the first time. Everyday, she gives him something new to love about her. Whether it be her shy smile, her blushy flustered face or the way she gets excited when she sees something cute, the way she coos his puppy to sleep, the way she always makes him feel better on a bad day and so many more things that may seem insignificant to her, but are never to him, makes him fall for her harder and deeper in love than he ever thought possible.
"Hyung! HYUNG!!! "
Snapping back to reality, Youngbin sees a wide eyes Chani looking at him with a questioning expression.
"What? "
"Were you daydreaming about Noona again? Why are you so distracted today? "
"It's nothing Chani-ya. She just makes me happy. That's all. Did you tell the camera crew that I need them this evening? "
"Yes I did Hyung. That's what I was telling you as you were zoned out. I don't even want to imagine what it's going to be like when you get married. We probably won't get anything done at all since you will be distracted all the time. " Chani said in a factual manner.
"Okay that's a bit excessive. And you haven't found someone whom you love as much right now. You will understand better when you do. Till then I can't really explain this." The older said smiling lighty as she took over his thoughts again. Rolling his eyes, Chani patted his leader and left wordlessly.
。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆
"This is nice. The air isn't as humid as I thought it would be. " Y/N said as she walked next to her lover, fingers intertwined, arms swaying back and forth as they moved forward. Stopping still he twirled her around till she faced the railing covering the boundary of the lake. Giggling she wrapped his arms around her so he could hug her, keep her warm, even though she wasn't as cold yet.
Resting his chin on her head, he sighed heavily, feeling content with his beloved in his embrace. Oh how he could stay like this forever and never leave. Hmm. She's right. The air is just perfect. Like her. And it is definitely the perfect weather, to take the next step most relationships do.
Looking up at the sky, the stars shine bright, twinkling and shimmering beautifully. Taking this as a positive sign from the universe, Youngbin hugged Y/N tighter, knowing that it's now or,well later but now is nice. Turning her head to her lover, Y/N stands on her tippy toes to kiss him.
Breathing out the two lovebirds stared up at the star filled night sky. The soft wind getting stronger with time, but not too strong to have any effect yet. Just a light breeze that can be felt. Like the love that's surrounding them, keeping them warm from the exterior and from within.
"Oh! Did you see that! That star is shining the brightest." Youngbin said pointing at a distant star.
" Which one? " Y/N stepped forward by one step, trying to see the star he pointed out.
" That one? " She asked again, this time she was the one pointing.
" No. The one standing in front of me right now. "
Drawing her hand back to her body, her heart thumping strongly in her chest. Now, what had happened when they hugged is that Y/N had felt a small poke on the side of her thigh, where Youngbin's jacket was over on her. So being the smart young lady she is, Y/N knew. She knew what was happening. And it wasn't just feeling the poke, she's been feeling like this for some days now. And she knows that he has too.
Slowly turning around, Y/N was faced with her lover, who was down on one knee, holding a small box with the cutest ring she had ever seen. To say that Y/N.exe had stopped working was an understatement. She stood there, as though she was frozen. Looking up at her, Youngbin breathed heavily and started.
" When I met you for the first time, I never thought that you will love someone like me. So I was happy to settle being just your friend. But we both started liking each other at the same time. I asked you out and you agreed to date me. I never thought that you would actually date me for a long time because I've, well I was thinking that you deserve better. But you told me and made me belive different. And I am really really grateful that you did. And as time progressed, we both grew to love each other so much. You know all of this already, but saying this out loud, makes me sure that I want more. You, have helped me grow into a better person, over the time that we have dated. You, motivate me and drive me to do better, because even if no one did, you knew my limit and my capabilities. You, make me the happiest I've ever been. So will you please make me a little bit more happier by becoming my fiancee and the happiest, in the near future, when you become my wife? Will you marry me? "
Y/N stares at him, while breathing through her mouth. The only sound that's heard is the soft wind.
" Yes. "
Y/N gets down on her knees, in front of her lover, sweet tears of shock and joy streaming down her face.
" Yes. I will marry you Kim Youngbin. "
" Hyung!!! Congratulations!!!!!! "
Breaking his face into a grin, Youngbin removes the lovely and intricately detailed ring and puts it on Y/N's finger delicately. Kissing her left knuckle, Youngbin realises he is crying as well. Sobbing out loud Y/N throws her arms around him, making him tumble backwards a little. Laughing a little, Youngbin slowly wraps his arms around her, caressing the back of her head as he looked up at the sky, trying to stop the tears from falling down his cheek.
Hugging each other tight for what seemed like forever, they move away from each other's embrace upon hearing clapping sounds and cheers from the young men and their team who have now approached them.
Standing up Y/N couldn't help but hide her face in her lover's chest. Kissing her forehead, Youngbin thanked everyone.
" Let's all celebrate! Dinner is on us. " Youngbin stated looking you. Smiling you nodded you head in agreement as everyone around you cheered and wiped their tears away.
It all felt like a dream. But it wasn't. It was reality. A reality that she was so thankful to have. Smiling till their cheeks hurt, Youngbin and Y/N not couldn't wait till they were married and called as Husband and Wife.

“Good afternoon,” Roy greeted with confidence into the microphone atop the podium in front of him. Hundreds of pairs of eyes stared back expectantly, and while that should have been unnerving, his excitement at the upcoming announcement kept the feeling at bay. This communiqué had been a long time coming, crafted from years of subtle diversion, and playing a tactical game. Now, it was coming to fruition. It was all still part of their game, but Roy had a personal stake in this part of it too. It was still a win for both parties involved.
A huge personal win.
Up there, on the podium, he was completely exposed. While that was dangerous for someone like him with such high political standing, Roy trusted the eyes that were watching his back implicitly. He does not turn complacent, but is more than confident in their abilities. He trusts each and every one of his subordinates to ensure the day goes well and without incident.
“Today’s announcement,” Roy continued, “will hopefully put to rest any fears you may have had regarding me assuming the role of your leader. Fuhrer Grumman has led this country exceptionally well over the last five years but feels ready to step down. As you all know, I have been named his successor and will make a promise to you all now, this country’s citizens, that I will do my utmost to ensure I do my best by you.”
There was a pleased applause after he finished, accompanied by a quiet murmur.
He meant every word, but that was not the reason Roy had taken the stage that day.
“I would also like you to know that I’ve heard the rumours surrounding me,” he smirked, letting his gaze sweep across the crowd before him. Out the corner of his eye, he noticed how this had piqued the interest of those in the audience with the various media outlets. Their ears perked up at the mention of rumours, understandably. “I am aware of the public’s opinion on a bachelor like myself being given the title of Fuhrer. However, I have come here today to offer my reassurances.”
Some people in the crowd turn to one another, momentarily confused by what he’s saying. Roy smirked to himself, thinking of his own private joke before he opened his mouth to finally reveal to the world something he has wanted to for over two decades.
“As you can imagine, this will be a busy transition period for us, so I hope you will extend your respect, as well as privacy, to both myself and my new fiancé as we navigate this new chapter in our lives. I can assure you though, an official date for my upcoming wedding will be announced soon.”
It was like the crowd had frozen. A few jaws went slack, and mouths parted in shock as they processed the news faster than others.
“More news will come in due time. Thank you.”
With a simple bow of his head, Roy stepped back from the microphone and turned to look at the stunned officials up there with him. Breda and Havoc approached, nonplussed by the news, and started to escort him off the stage.
There was a split second where the world was completely still, as everyone was still processing what he’d just announced. Then, everything felt like it exploded. The crowd erupted into applause and cheers. Cameras flashed in desperation to capture the moment that Roy Mustang, the most eligible bachelor in Amestris and a well-known womaniser in his younger years, announced he was engaged, and his wedding would be announced soon.
Roy can hear some of the questions being yelled by the reporters.
“Who are you due to marry?”
“What’s her name?”
“General Mustang! When did this happen?”
He ignored them all, for all would be revealed in due time. It was enough for now that it had been announced. Roy never planned on revealing anything else other than that today anyway. He would have loved to. He can’t wait for the day he can finally give the order to give the announcement, but he must hold off. The mystery will drum up interest in their favour. It will draw eyes to them and get people talking. No other Fuhrer had caused quite as much a stir as he had, and Roy wasn’t even officially in office yet. He was popular and well liked among the masses. Not as much as the Fullmetal Alchemist, the alchemist of the people, but Roy’s work over the years had built up a perfectly crafted reputation for him. It played well into his plans.
A womaniser who announces he’s settling down with someone who is a complete mystery. It was interesting news. Especially for the imminent ruler of the country.
The public ate it up, desperate to know. Out the corner of his eye he could already see heads bowed together in excitement as they gossiped about the news while Roy walked off the stage.
He was led by his security team into a private room within the building behind them. Havoc gave him a quick nod in response to his order, reaching for the door handle and pulling it closed behind him. Breda was down the hall, already speaking into microphone after microphone in order to soothe public relations about the surprise announcement. Poor guy, but he did volunteer. Having Breda assure them, but give nothing away, would only cause more intrigue. If Roy went out there and spoke to them all, they’d never let him leave.
His shoulder slumped now he was away from prying eyes. Not with fatigue, but just to relax. The initial phase had finally started, and his plans were set in motion. While he did have a personal stake in this and was more than happy to go along with it, it could certainly be draining. But then again, nothing had ever been simple between them.
The door opened as he was pouring himself a glass of water. He reached for a second glass and smirked, not turning around because he knew who it was who’d entered. His order to Havoc was to permit only one person entrance to the room.
“Did you really have to do it so dramatically?”
There was a grin on his face as he turned on the spot, coming face to face with his fiancé. Well, according to the country, she was still his fiancé. Nobody, except from them and his team, was aware that they were already married, and had been so for a while. While touring Aerugo last month they’d taken a clandestine trip to one of the islands off the coast to the south. It was just the two of them, the team, and his mother in attendance. Gracia had made the trip, and so had Edward and Alphonse, along with their respective families. Everyone who mattered most to Roy was there to witness them come together as a couple.
Marriage was not the be all and end all for him and Riza. They already knew where they stood with each other and what their relationship was. They had done so for years, and the ring that nestled comfortably on the end of his dog tags proved that. The legal document was just a formality at this point and given his current position as leader of the country, it would be necessary. So, they’d compromised. A private, personal ceremony for them to do things their way, exchanging the rings they’d already given each other years ago. The grand wedding that was yet to come was for the masses, not for them. Once the official ceremony happened, he would move the ring onto his ring finger where it had always belonged and where he’d always wanted to wear it.
Riza’s lifted one eyebrow expectantly, awaiting his answer.
“They expect a show,” he shrugged, “so I’m going to give it to them.”
“So, our official wedding is just a show,” she deadpanned.
His expression softened at her light teasing. “Our official wedding has already happened,” he reminded her. “In case you had forgotten, we are already legally married.”
“I hadn’t,” she placated as she approached him, “but you need to stop talking about it so openly. You were the one who suggested keeping it a secret, and the walls have ears,” she replied cryptically. Once close enough, she brushed a piece of invisible lint off his immaculate uniform and his shoulder tingled where she’d ran her hand over it.
“Let them listen,” he shrugged again. Roy lifted a hand to rest upon her hip as he grasped one of hers, lifting them both to rest between their bodies. He bent his head forward and kissed the backs of her knuckles, a small, fond smile playing on his lips. “It doesn’t matter now that our news is out.”
“Part of the news is out,” she reminded him. “You were quite adamant about only revealing some of the truth so early on,” Riza smirked. “It will be a busy transition period for us, after all,” she quoted back to him with mock sympathy.
His eyes rolled fondly.
“So,” she continued, extracting her hand from his and taking a step backward to put some distance between them. Roy felt like a petulant child, pouting at her actions. “We must keep up pretences and give ourselves the time and space we need to adapt to our new circumstances and navigate through it.”
“You’re no fun,” he complained, his tone nearly a playful whine.
“I know, dear,” she replied, sounding like she didn’t particularly care he felt that way. Roy was only joking though, of course.
“How did it look from up there?”
Riza’s perch had been on the roof of the building behind him, on the lookout for anyone who may wish harm upon him, along with her own elite security team.
She snorted lightly. “I will admit, it was entertaining to see the looks on their faces.”
“They were very surprised,” he chuckled, pleased with himself.
“It’s never a dull moment with you.”
“I would hope not because you’re stuck with me now, fiancé,” he grinned.
“Unfortunately,” she deadpanned quietly. When he scowled at her, she laughed loudly, her smile reaching her eyes.
For a moment, Roy is enraptured by her beauty. Her grin lit up his whole world and the sound of her laughter pulled at the stings of his heart pleasantly.
He is married to this woman, he thought to himself, and still couldn’t quite believe it.
After so long… After so many years of ignoring feelings and holding back – or trying to – now he didn’t have to.
Although it was his plan to delay the information given, he really wished it wasn’t. He wanted to go back out there and tell everyone how much he loved and cherished this woman before him.
All in due time. And the pay off when that day finally comes will be so worth it.
They’ve both waited for so long. Roy could stick it out for a few more days. What was more important was holding this woman close and loving her so freely like he has always wanted, and Roy planned to do just that.
Riza smirked and didn’t shrug him off as Roy wrapped his arms tightly around her frame. He pulled her close and kissed her, trying to convey just how much he loved her with one kiss alone. She hummed against his lips pleasantly as her arms lifted to loop around his neck. One hand slowly, tantalisingly, trailed up the back of his neck, making him shudder. She noticed and grinned against him. When her nails scratched lightly against his scalp and Roy groaned, Riza’s smile widened. She knew exactly what she was doing to him. She could play him like a fiddle, but Roy didn’t mind at all. There’s no way he was going to stop her ministrations when they felt so good.
“I love you,” he breathed. His chest heaved with his breath and the words almost got stuck in his throat, both from the emotions overwhelming him and their passionate kiss.
“Love you too, Roy.” When she pulled away to look at him, Roy didn’t let her move far. Their noses were almost touching but he could see her expression soften. She looked so happy and content. So in love. Which was exactly how he felt too.
They both couldn’t wait to start this new chapter in their lives together.

Hello it is I, answering your call for basic human interaction. Rank the chaotix by your favorite members 🔫
hehehe i've been WAITING for this one!! i can't wait to get roasted but I stand by my choice:
1. Espio. my boy. my baby. my kin AND comfort from when i first got into sonic in the early 2000's where i saw a purple detective ninja chameleon and then proceeded to fall in love. espio is so op and underrated i don't understand why more people don't love him. yeah he's just as serious and skilled as someone like shadow, but he also lives with two goofballs so we know he's not always stoic. that and his humour in the anime is fucking HILARIOUS anyways this is an espio stan account
2. Charmy, my BEELOVED. holy shit i love charmy and have defended his right to exist since the dark age of sonic. "he's annoying" HE IS A CHILD and look i hate kids, if i had to deal with an irl charmy i'd commit die, but him! he's a cute little bee who is so goddamn funny and i love his idolization of shadow, it leads for some adorable headcanons of him having another big brother 🥺
3. Ray: now look i KNOW that at least one person here is going to be confused but he was a chaotix member during the pre-super genesis wave SO HE COUNTS, OKAY? i have always had a soft spot for ray because of his loyalty and total adoration of mighty (his brother aaaa) but also his stuttering made me less worried about my stutter that i've since worked through (most of the time), but it was really comforting for younger me
4. Vector, but he would have been much lower if i didn't recently have a moment of spiritual peace when rewatching the metarex arc as an adult. growing up, vector was probably my most hated sonic character besides maybe julie-su (getting to that later) because of his treatment of espio. like, the only sane member. it was played as a joke and thanks to idw espio actually gets some acknowledgment, but i have a feeling i projected my own trauma of not being allowed to speak or have opinions onto espio and thus hated vector as the one doing it. yeah charmy did it too but he's a child not the fucking LEADER, but yeah now seeing a croc my age take care of an edgy teen and a 6 year old on his own while still following his dream is really impressive and something i could never do. i'm sorry for hating you all these years vector i love you 🥺💚
5. Heavy. I DONT KNOW WHY LOOK if it weren't for my vector development this friend would be higher, have y'all SEEN HEAVY? They're a friend, who is perfectly huggable and kind and INVULNERABLE so you can hug him forever. i want to see more heavy content okay???
6. Bomb, just a bit lower than their partner. he just, fucking, blows up as a defense mechanism? aka, destroys their whole body and then reforms once again??? BOMB IS SO COOL STOP SLEEPING ON THEM I STG—
7. Mighty. back in the day, him and espio sorta butted heads. the chameleon was more hotheaded back in the day and mighty, a well known pacifist, didn't take too kindly to that! and all i can remember is little me getting hyper-defensive of my boy again, even if mighty is hardly a chaotix member these days. sorry mighty, i think you are lovely, i just don't f/w pacifists or people who try to mess with espio, but i still like you!
-8. JULIE FUCKING SU. god i fucking hate her so much she makes my skin crawl. she doesn't deserve an explanation just fuck her and her stupid fucking existence in the comics
characters not included: saffron because that plot was atrocious and i pretend they didn't do that to charmy, and knuckles because he technically IS a chaotix but he's more team sonic and it would be unfair to include him here, ranked against my fave team (one of em anyways)
sorry if you didn't want archie! i had to include mighty anyways and that means ray belongs too, which leaves perfect room to roast julie su hehe
