So basically the reader is like the goddess of time (for the gods part) and a time traveler(for the humans part) the reader basically repeat the same month that Ragnarok has taken place for over 1200 years just to save them from their fate which was turning into a green weed snort dust in because the charas are who she hold dear so much since they are her husband , each time she failed and failed and that affect the universe since she bend the time around the charas making them stronger but each timeline they just die , and i want them to confront the reader Abt it and then the reader is like having a meltdown or something and then tell em all the stuff she have been doing to the point she almost gone insane with all the timeline of watching them die

And after that can you just put on like a huge comfort scene where the charas finally survive and comfort the reader after all the pain she gone through

🧪 You sat by Hlökk and Jack while the fight ensued, and you were praying that he would win, that your husband could finally come home safe and sound

🧪 Nikola was healing as you jumped onto him, he chuckled and kissed your forehead, and that was when you let it loose

💪 Your husband was the one person you didn't want to lie to anymore, and you hopes that after 1,200 years, this may be the final time you'd have to travel to save him

💪 Heracles looked at you with shock, he figured nobody would drain themselves physically or mentally to the point of near insanity just for him...

💪 Your husband laid the most gentle kiss on your lips ever as you nodded, believing the words more than you ever did before

💪 Before Round 4 of Ragnarok started, you strolled over to the Humans side to speak to their fighter, Jack the Ripper, so you could get something clear

" In these last 1,200 years, I have been trying to get my husband back... as whenever he fought against you, he lost... died at your hands. And while I respect you and everything you have done for your people, I am just asking you one thing; Is this really what you want to be known for? Pure murder? "

💪 When Jack was about to kill Heracles, he remembered your words and smiled humbly before lowering his hands to the ground and laying on his knees, causing Heracles to stop and stare at the male

" I do not wish to kill you, God. " " Heracles. And Jack, I do not wish to kill you. This match stays at a draw! "

💪 All Gods and Humans were obviously pissed, but you got your husband back, and one of your previously close friends. Win-Win for you!

Hi! Hello how are you? I hope you're doing well!

So i would like to make a request, can you please make one where the reader is a runaway child, going on adventures and seeing new places and helping lots of other people, And as how she was able to survive that long is because she is a witch who tampers with dark magic, that's why she's running away from her previous life.

She died due to the people who she ran away from, found her and they ripped out all her organs in revenge (gruesome i know) as was then dubbed the traitor child

She is also on the human side, so may i request with all the human figthers so far? Or if not, maybe king leonidas, qin shi Huang, kojiro, tesla, adam and aswell as some other gods like thor, hades and poseidon and as for how her story goes. This is how it went

She goes into the arena, other people expecting another grown man. But to their surprise it was a child, the crowd burst into an outrage, but she calms them down saying that can handle it and that no one needs to worry and that she'll make them proud, when her opponent talks to her she is polite and respectful, they then fight when her opponent hits first, she teleports behind them. The fight then soon ends and she wins, the gods and humans in shock! Did this child really win against a god? After that she meets up with the people who i mentioned this to be for.

-Traitor, demon, witch, evil, those were all words that you remember well, being called those numerous times, despite being a child.

-You ran away from your home young, no longer willing to put up with your family’s abuse, and you spend your days traveling, exploring, and being free.

-But being a child in a cruel, unforgiving world, you did what you had to do to survive, and learned with dark magic to defend yourself.

-However, a child is still a child, and it wasn’t long until you had been caught after your parents deemed you evil, and after many saw you using your dark powers, you were deemed a witch and sentenced to death, but you were given no quick death, you were torn limb from limb, disemboweled, brutally tortured until you bled out.

-You couldn’t even fathom on how cruel some humans could be, especially to a five-year-old.

-However, in Valhalla, you were free, you got a safe and warm home, you were never hungry, and nobody thought too much about you, just seeing you as a child.

-There were only a few who knew about your power, Odin and Brunnhilde, knowing full well that you were strong with magic, and after years of honing your skills, you were dangerous, but still looked like a child, much to your annoyance as nobody took you seriously.

-That is, until Ragnarok occurred and Brunnhilde took a gamble with you.

-The amount of shouts of rage and outcry, seeing a young child walking out into the stadium was almost deafening, so many were furious, seeing that a child was being forced to fight.

-Your bright smile and look of fiery determination did throw them off as you spoke, “Don’t worry about me- I’ve got this!!” but your words and confidence did little to deter their anger.

-It wasn’t until you easily defeated your opponent that they finally shut up, completely stunned as you did nothing to hold back, showing off years of training work with your magic.

-When you returned backstage, you were no expecting to be hugged so quickly, by a man who wanted to adopt and protect you, even more so after Brunnhilde told them how you died on Earth.

-Instantly had you in his arms, hugging you close, ignoring your futile attempts to struggle free, “Let go! I’m not a child!” he found your struggle amusing, holding you by the back of your shirt like you were a feisty kitten, “Struggle all you want, you’re my kid now, and nobody’s ever going to hurt you again.” You paused at his words, eyes narrowed like you didn’t believe him, “Really?” he grinned, keeping you in his arms, “Really- c’mon I’ll get you some ice cream.” Your hands flew up as you cheered, showing your child-like nature, which you were quick to deny.

-Leonidas, Qin Shi Huang, Hades, and Thor

-Kneeled down and introduced himself to you and you did the same and he offered you a hand, “Would you allow me to adopt you, Y/N? I don’t want anyone to ever hurt you again.” Now that your powers had been revealed, you did think it was a good idea to have some extra protection, mainly because you were afraid of being attacked for using dark magic again. It was rather cute, seeing you acting so mature, because you were, but in the body of a five-year-old, it was rather amusing to see. You agreed, taking his hand and he pulled you up and into his arms, holding you like a child so he could take you to a waiting room to relax with him.

Note : I only watched Thor 1 ,first Avengers Movie, Thor the Dark Kingdom,Ragnarok and Loki the Series - on YouTube I spoiled myself about how Thanos killed Loki

So basically I only watched Movies with Loki in it

Only from other Fanfics I got a idea about how the other Avengers interact with each other

It's been awhile since Loki joined the Avengers

Thor convinced them to give his Brother a Chance - because Loki was mind controlled and manipulated .

Most of them ignored him ,Tony was acting snaky , Thor told him everything will be alright and you were interested in Loki - wanting to know everything about him - trying to understand him you Always felt bad when the others didn't treat him nicely.

Loki and you became fast Friends - spending most of the time together

He loves playing tricks on you and flirting.

Loki enjoys how nice you are to him and having your Attention but the others were often quite annoyed and rolled their eyes at you two

But that changed - lately you felt depressed ,tired and powerless - the beginning of the Winter Season hit you hard again - it's dark and cold outside making you wanting to sleep and stay in bed all the time

Yandere Beelzebub X Fem! Reader

Prologue; You are the daughter of the first human, Adam. After Adam's battle against Zeus, you followed Brunhilde wherever she went, during the battle of Budha and Zerofuku, you got lost and accidentally walked into the room where Beelzebub was.

"Oh, are you lost, little fly?" Beelzebub's voice booms in the room. His violet eyes stare deeply into yours. You swallow nervously. You didn't expect to meet the Lord of The Flies. You remained silent, oblivious to Beelzebub's approach. He held your chin, making your eyes meet his.

"You... you are Adam's daughter, right?" you simply nodded. Beelzebub's gaze seemed filled with hatred. You brushed his hand off your chin and ran out of the room to find Brundhilde.

Meanwhile, Beelzebub just chuckled at your terrified expression. "I can't wait to destroy her."

You spotted Brundhilde who was watching Buddha's fight with Zerofuku, and you went straight to her. Brundhilde, who saw you running, immediately scolded you for leaving her. She was worried that you had met one of the gods who might destroy you because you were Adam's daughter.

"Sorry, I was negligent earlier," you say. Brundhilde just lets out a long sigh, she won't let you get lost again. You were watching Buddha's match, but you were surprised when you saw the change in Buddha's opponent.

"Wasn't Buddha fighting Zerofuku, why did it change?"

"Zerofuku suddenly turned into a demon king, Hajun" You are surprised to hear that. That's impossible, can the Buddha win against him?

But what makes you even more surprised is the appearance of the God of The Underworld, Hades. You didn't expect him to come.

You start to wonder, is Hades coming to Valhalla to watch the fight or to participate? But when you look at the list of Gods who will be fighting, Hades isn't there, and that makes you relieved. You really hope that humanity wins, considering your father loved them so much and was willing to sacrifice to keep them alive.

Also, the human warriors are very kind and sweet to you. They treat you like a princess and that makes you happy. You are still very focused on watching Buddha's fight with Hajun. A while later, Buddha won the fight even though he lost one eye. You, Brundhilde and Goll approached him who was being carried by the medical team.

"Buddha-sama, I'm glad you survived and won," you said while holding Buddha's hand with teary eyes. Buddha laughed and gave a thumbs up, "I told you not to worry. Look at me, I won the fight. You have to give me a packet of cola candy."

You laugh, "You'll get a hole in your tooth if you eat too much candy."

Buddha also laughs before he is taken away for treatment. You follow Brundhile to her room, and when she opens the door, Goll screams because there are two Brundhildes.

A frown appears on Brundhilde's forehead, "What are you doing here? And also why are you wearing my clothes? Nostradamus!"

Goll, "Huh...He's that..." You look confused at Nostradamus who still resembles Brundhilde. Your Nostradamus.

Nostradamus then took off his disguise. "He is the greatest astrologer of all time!" Goll shouted. You blinked your eyes a few times, huh the greatest astrologer huh, is it possible that he can predict you?

Nostradamus then shouted and pointed at you, "Let me foretell!"

Goll and you are confused, "Huh?"

"It is the Gods' side that will win Ragnarok!" he says, making you and Goll jump.

"What do you mean humanity will lose?!" you yell at him. Then Nostradamus burst out laughing, "Do you believe me? You are so innocent, miss!"

Your face turns red and begins to smoke. You squeeze Brundhilde's hand tightly in embarrassment. Goll grabbed his brother's hand and shouted, "Big sister! This guy sucks!"

They don't realize you walked out of the room to get some fresh air. You sit in the garden, looking up at the sky. Then you heard footsteps that made you stand up immediately, your eyes widening as you realized who was coming, an incubus. He came up to you and held your chin, his long tongue touching your soft cheek giving you goosebumps.

"You're Adam's daughter, right? I didn't think you were cute enough" You pushed him to the ground. He looks at you angrily then grabs your wrist tightly.

"Listen to this, although I know the human warriors like you a lot, don't expect them to help you-"

His words are cut off. You see his body already torn to shreds and fall to the ground.

You look to the side and see Beelzebub standing there with his usual blank stare. He comes closer to you and stomps on the incubus' severed body beneath him.

He ducked slightly to adjust his height to yours, you closed your eyes in fear. Then you feel his hand stroking your hair gently.

"Are you alright?" you nodded not expecting him to help you and even touch you!

"I'm fine...Thank you for helping" Beelzebub is still looking at you with his hand still stroking your hair. You can see a small smile etched on his face. "I'm glad to hear that."

He then walked away leaving you in confusion. Was he just playing with you? Or did he really intend to help you? You don't know.

Meanwhile, Beelzebub felt his heart beating fast. Maybe Satan's curse was at work again? Or maybe it's love? No, no, he can't fall in love with a weak human like you. His goal is to corrupt you, nothing more.

Jealous Jack Cuddles x Yoriichi Reader

She is the one that gave me this idea, so if she posts anything similar, I hope no one thinks she’s copying off of me-

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy-

Warning: Mention of Rape, murder, and descriptions of blood

- You and Jack were passing through somewhere, with you getting him ready for his match against Heracles. But however, on the way, you two had overheard a few Gods talking shit about you. Some even considered raping you, which was the one thing that made Jack stop. You didn’t seem to mind since... you were much too kind of a person, but Jack sure did.

- He allowed himself to get pulled away by you, but made exact sure to remember the faces of those minor Gods. No one else is gonna remember them anyways, so why should Jack not murder them? Especially when they were whispering about RAPING you. Yeah, no.

- Jack will reassure you that he’s okay at first, and will continue on with his day. But... he’s pretty sure you know quite well that he’s still bothered by those Gods from before.

- The thing is that Jack can’t knock you out either. You... are really fucking tough- Even if you just had your round of Ragnarok, you quite literally breezed through it, and came back with nothing but a few scratches. If Jack tries to knock you out, you’ll of course brush it off after catching his hand. But you’d have your eye on him after that, which is something he doesn’t need for you to do.

- You sleeping won’t work either. You’re a shallow sleeper. You’re always on guard as well. A job as a Demon Slayer honed your senses and you just can’t let go of them, even while sleeping. So, that’s a no no.

- Jack decided to go while you were taking a shower. And that was perfect.

- It was extremely satisfying to finally get rid of them, especially with how kind you were. You never let him kill people, even if they had done bad things unless it were necessary. Jack saw it as completely justified. If he got a small hit to the head for it, he would see it as completely worth it. No one is going to talk about his s/o like that.

- Jack made sure the session was painful for the entire group before returning t you, completely covered in blood.

- Hlökk was fucking screaming the entire time, which only made Jack’s annoyance worse. But he came back home, still covered in blood. He didn’t even give you a chance to do anything, since you were already trapped on the bed, getting smothered with cuddles and blood.

- You knew exactly what he had done, too. It was practically impossible not to when he was this deep into protecting and loving you. You really had no choice but to let it happen, even if you had tried to get him to take a shower. Both of you had to take one. Again.

- Well, even if you were strong, you supposed that a few more cuddle sessions wouldn’t hurt. So, even if Jack was completely bloody, you just went along with it, being fine with whatever had smothered onto you.

- At least Jack knows that he might be able to do this again. He’s not going to let you pull him away next time if this happens again. But he will get you in a cuddle session again if someone dares to be an asshole-

Loki Season 2 – Episode 1 RECAP

HERE WE GO AGAIN! FINALLY! LET’S DO THIS, SHALL WE?

As always, HEAVY SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 1 BELOW THE CUT!

Also from now on, as usual, in addition to the keep reading tags, I will tag posts that contain spoilers with the hashtag "#loki season 2 spoilers" and "#loki spoilers" so you can filter them from your dashboard until you're ready!

Did I stay up until 3 a.m. to watch the first episode again? Yes. Yes, I did.

We are starting off so damn STRONG. Damn it, I just wanted to hug Loki so bad. He’s been through so much shit and he was so heartbroken and desperate! Imagine you get to cup his face and just tell him to take a deep breath with you! What made it even more painful was the moment he fully realised that Mobius didn’t recognise him—his one friend, the one person who likes him for who he is… and he doesn’t remember him… and then the relief on his face when was in the right place again!

Loki was so panicked about the impending war. For good reason, obviously but it truly shows that Thor: Ragnarok lied. Loki wouldn’t be a bad king, now hear me out—in The Avengers, Thanos had the upper hand. You all remember that one scene where he sort of backtracks and says “It’s too late… it’s too late to stop it…” but can’t join forces with Thor because The Other was watching him? Loki understands the sacrifice for sure and in the first Thor film, when he tried to wipe out Jötunheim, what I believe is that he wanted to prevent the war that Thor himself had started by attacking those Jötuns. Loki’s not about violence and causing pain and destruction, he just got caught in the middle of it several times, and circumstances forced him into choices that were not heroic. We knew that already, of course… but it’s nice to see that reflected in the series. Besides, we don’t need him to be a hero. We just need him to be Loki. 🥰

The jokes were spot-on, not too silly, not out of place, in my opinion, but sprinkled in just right so far. Skin? Also, can we please talk about the warning on the floor that said Spaghettification? Come on! 😂😂😂

Now in that sense, O.B. is indeed brilliant. A lovely and light addition to the serious bureaucracy of the TVA for sure!

I really wasn’t worried about Loki making it back safely, somehow. Let’s face it, they wouldn’t have killed him in the first episode of Season 2. With that being said… I hope for their sake he stays safe at the end too, otherwise, I will hurt a lot of people! 🙂

X5… X5, what are we gonna do with him? I hate him. Of course, I do. He’s got something about him that just makes you want to slap him in the face. 😒

Now there are two questions we immediately ask ourselves, right? Where, or rather, when did Sylvie come from? And who pruned Loki? Was it another Sylvie, or another Loki? Another Mobius? B15? An antagonistic character who realised their wrongs? A new character? A Kang Variant? They’ve definitely left us some loose ends! 🤔

And lastly… it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see how much Loki cares for Sylvie despite what happened at the end of Season 1. She basically betrayed him! For reasons Loki understands, of course, but still… it broke his heart… and hence it broke mine. He was so ready to stop the others from going after her even though he was facing the very gruesome time slipping problem. 😭

If you’ve seen the video I posted earlier, you’ll know that I have already seen Episode 2 as well today. I won’t lose a word about that one until next week though! 😉 All I’m gonna say is that we’re in for a treat. 😏

Happy Holi! Technically Holi was Wednesday, but the local celebration was today. For those of you who don't know, Holi is the Hindu (mainly) festival of spring, color, and love, and to celebrate people like to eat traditional foods, dance to live music, and wear white to cake each other in colorful powders and sometimes water. It's greatly celebrated in India, but don't lose hope! There are local celebrations in other places.

Now, I would've celebrated Holi either way this year, but seeing as I'm into Record of Ragnarok right now, I thought some head cannons would be fitting! This one's pretty long, click at your own discretion!

Shiva, Parvati, Kali, and Durga

Shiva may've been rooting for humanity's destruction, but he'd really enjoy it if you snuck him into a Holi festival

And, of course, you'd be sneaking his wives in too

Honestly, standing in the crowd getting affectionately smeared with color while everyone dances to really loud music might just be enough to make him think humanity may be worth it

I can totally see him giving excited bear hugs

I mean, just look at those arms. Mans was built for hugs.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he took turns picking up you and his wives and letting you ride around on his shoulder both just for fun and so you can see the stage(s)

Depending on the last time he visited humans and how much he keeps an eye on them, he might be surprised to try a lot of the more recent foods

Delicious, the lot of them. Have you ever had a milk ball? Everyone's gonna have to try them

Parvati would probably be extra excited about all the food

Kind of like those moms who carry around food to feed passing armies, Parvati would buy so many wrapped snacks for later (especially ones that stay good a while) that you'd all have to be carrying some out when you left

Durga would get friendly-competitive about the colors

She'd definitely have to keep a clear hand print in her color on your whole group's backs at all times

She will get the last word

Kali would probably start feeling competitive, too, though she might have to take a break at some point to avoid actually harming someone

That would probably be the point at which everyone paused with the colors and dancing to get some food

After returning everyone would be pretty tired, so after washing up everyone would be going down for a group nap/cuddle session

Buddha

Buddha's less there for the colors, more for the food and people watching

You can fully expect that he already knows where the best snacks are and you'll be hitting all their shops

He'll even show you a few snacks that he doesn't particularly like because he knows you'll love them

While you're out getting snacks, you're certain to pass accessory shops, and anything you buy will be a little memento

If you get matching hair accessories, he'll absolutely wear it, especially if he knows you're wearing yours

Sometimes it seems like he wears it specifically to lightly poke at other gods by showing that you two are close, but of course you'll never really know

If you get any kind of clothing he'll be happy to see you wear it, seeing it as a fond reminder of your time together at the festival

Probably wore a white tank top but would actively avoid getting colored

Would honestly probably wear a shower cap to protect his hair if it weren't a crime to hide his amazing hair (and a crime against fashion)

Because you're dodging the crowd and avoiding getting colored, you have a very chill time and can stay quite a bit longer.

You can happily enjoy listening to the music and watching the crowds with constant colorful puffs of powder flying into the air and kids laughing and chasing each other from a distance with your snack haul

You'd have to watch it with the snacks, though, 'cause no good outing in the human world is complete without a good dinner

Buddha's got an eye for food even without prior knowledge, so while you may or may not go somewhere fancy, you know the food will be good.

Heimdall

Holi isn't a part of his culture, so he wasn't sure what to expect, but he wore a white t-shirt just as you asked

Foods aren't a main point for him, but he absolutely enjoys wandering around seeing the variety and trying some of the sweets with you

If he sees something you would really like, he's gonna buy it in secret and give it to you later

If it's something that fits both of you, he'll at least be tempted to get a matching one

He would absolutely enjoy dancing in the crowd for a bit as you both got colored from head-to-toe

The best part for him would be meeting and interacting with all these new people

It wouldn't be long before he made many new friends who he would be just a bit sad to not see again

With his mild and charismatic demeanor, he easily attracts lots of people to hang out with while you're there

You'll have to come back next year

In fact, you'll have to visit the human world in disguise more often

After you're done with the festival, you end up going to dinner with your new pick-up group

It's wonderful and lively, though quite a bit of social interaction, so you don't stay any longer than that.

To wind down from such festivities, you both wash up and enjoy a calming evening reading or watching something after that

Thor

Why did you bring him again???

He came along for you, but he's not exactly the life of the party, so he doesn't know what you expect here

It may be a bit difficult to get him to relax, but he'd certainly find the event interesting

People running around, dancing, smiling, periodically throwing colored powder at him - it seemed shocking and somewhat invasive at first since he tends to mind his own business and expect others to do the same, but he quickly gets used to it

It's still not his element per se, but it's not harming him and it's a little fascinating to see people act so different from what he's used to

If you asked this man to dance with you in private he might do it, but he is not bouncing along to music in a crowd of people

You'd be better off keeping your distance from any stage and just chatting and enjoying the vendors around

Because this is such a new and interesting environment, you have a lot more potential for conversation than usual

If you're curious about his culture, celebrations, and traditions, now is definitely the time to ask

In exchange, he'll expect you to explain some of the weird stuff he's seeing

He's a bit insular and would be wary of trying new food, but he'd certainly try some things with you

If you figure out his tastes and pick something he really likes, it'll permanently increase humans' standing with him by a small amount

He'd be more likely to ask that you leave the festival early, but he'd also be most likely to explore around town with you.

You and him could walk around in your formerly white clothes observing the people, food, and shops

He'd be more careful on the street to make sure people kept their distance

He's just a bit protective like that and wouldn't want your special outing to end on a bad note

Not that anyone would dare disobey his doom-y glare

Loki

You've brought this minor menace to society right into his element

No one knows who he is or knows what's coming

It's a crowd of happy celebrating people who are foregoing their usual boundaries just for this joyous occasion

You better keep his ass on a leash

Who knows what he's gonna do if you don't

He's not as interested in just being around people and he's not at all comfy with them getting close enough to put powder on him

It's best if you just stay out of the crowd

He'd definitely enjoy watching kids run around attacking each other with colors, though

He'll absolutely try to find something super spicy to give you without telling you

Will probably bring more back to prank others

May, in fact, simply buy the spiciest sauce he can find to wreak havoc upon the other gods' taste buds

What have you done

Chaos aside, he enjoys the food and the open atmosphere the most

There's just something nice about being around a whole bunch of people who act so freely and have no idea who he is

That very thing makes him really start to relax and enjoy the trip for what it is rather than just an opportunity to make hell

Like Thor, he likely asked that ya'll leave the festival after hanging out for a bit and exhausting the available stalls, but he'll happily walk around town and sight see

He's more open to the different foods, so if anything catches his eye you'll be eating dinner there

Others

You're not convincing Poseidon to go

Even if you did, he wouldn't have fun and it'd be hard to have fun with him

It's just really not his thing

Aphrodite would be a joy to bring along, though she's a little too flirty with passing festival-goers

She may make some of them uncomfortable

She'd totally be down to party with everyone, go shopping, and maybe hit a bar

She'd probably be a good candidate for a large group

Her, Loki, Hercules, Thor, and Ares would be fun together

Ares would be hesitant to throw colors at people, but he'd really enjoy the lively and friendly atmosphere, though he'd try not to totally show it

Hercules would be a color-spreading joy

The kids would be hanging off him, strangers would be dancing with him, and he'd be grinning ear-to-ear through it all

How nice to be amongst his people in such a happy setting

Matching mementos and pictures are a must with him

Brunhilde would happily watch everyone, thoroughly enjoying the festive atmosphere, though not wishing to be directly involved

Relaxing with her at festivals like this is a great way to make fond memories

It all might be a bit too loud and rambunctious for Hermes, you may want to break him in with smaller events before this one

His default is somewhat judgmental, so such a wild festival would just be a bit overwhelming and might prevent him from having an open mind

Adamas would get competitive about the colors but also have a lot of fun

You'd certainly stay a while, even past when your social battery ran out

He doesn't get to have enough rambunctious fun, so this would be a very welcome change of pace

It would be difficult to get Forsetti to come without Thor, and he'd be nervous at first, but he'd quickly settle into the atmosphere and have fun dancing and spreading color with everyone else

Would absolutely suggest having dinner at a bar afterwards, though likely wouldn't make any new friends there unless they or you started the conversation

I wanted to write one for several of the gods I mentioned in "others", but I unfortunately ran out of time and brain juice. Still, I had a lot of fun writing this! If you want me to write a full one for any specific character or think I should write some for the humans, shoot me an ask and I'll write it! I honestly might write one for the humans either way, though. I tried to make these interpretable from a platonic or romantic viewpoint, but if you want something more specifically one or the other, you can send an ask for that, too!

As you might know if you saw my review the other day, my December felt very slumpy even though I read a lot of good books. I suspect this is because of book hangovers and working a busy Christmas retail season. (I also didn't write much because I kept coming home too wiped to think.)

But it was a good month! I managed to get to a couple new releases that I really wanted to, and I knocked a lot of books off my physical TBR because none of my ARCs looking interesting. I did have a DNF again, though, of a book that I was really hoping would be great. Isn't that always the way?

I also had two rereads! One because sometimes when you're at a loss to read, you pick up Pratchett, and one because I'd promised myself I'd get to it this year and dash it, I was going to! Weirdos of the Universe, Unite! was one of the most seminal books of my childhood, and it wasn't until I reread it that I realized just how much it was. I saw a lot of my personal attitude to life in Maddy, it was probably my first true urban fantasy even though there's a whole act on a spaceship, Baba Yaga is there as a very cranky but practical sort of witch…

As for my book haul, I just want to say that it was Christmas and I didn't actually buy anything? My parents came through with some really oddball picks, as I'd expected, my sister gifted me one of her favourite reads of the year, and friends helped feed my T. Kingfisher addiction. (More on that in my yearly wrap-up.)

But the book I'm most excited to have gotten is Hogfather, and not because of the pretty cover though that's a bonus. It is, in fact, the most astounding misprint I've ever seen and I couldn't pass up a chance at a free copy. I mean, how many times do you find a beloved book in which the entire thing is bound backwards?! Thank goodness the publisher didn't want it back, is all I'm saying.

And that's probably about it! I have no idea what book I'm going to start 2024 with, because I sort of read 200+ pages of Persepolis Rising last night so I could knock it off my list and now I'm recovering from the binge.

Undead Unluck Ch.177 thoughts

[Sick in the Head]

(Contents: Rule lore speculation, nostalgic gushing)

Undead Unluck really is the new One Piece, cus we're nearly 200 chapters in and we're still getting basic worldbuilding lore. We first heard the term "Master Rules" in ch.97 (it took me a shamefully long time to find that page too, I skimmed the entirety of 101-132 before realizing it was right after Ruin's introduction), and while I think we all kind of guessed that the Master Rules were the ones that God intended to shape the final product, the revelation that they're meant to be absolutes really changes the game, doesn't it?

Long-time followers may recall my worry about what would happen to the world if Spoil were to be neutralized because it would throw off the nutrient cycle, but then I chalked it up to the world updating and compensating for the loss

This is also what I thought happened in ch.124 when Andy got hit with an Unluck blast of magma after having killed UMA Magma; Andy questioned it, Fuuko said not to worry about it, but I could never get past it, and I always justified it as a different liquified substance in the Earth's mantle to allow the tectonic plates to move or whatever other purposes magma has, but...nope! It would seem that Magma was a Master Rule (albeit outside of the top 10, cus he went down pretty easy), so its neutralization didn't affect the state of the world itself

This also means that the Seasons are explicitly not Master Rules, which I speculated would be the case a long time ago since there was a quest specific to their neutralization, implying that they were not Rules that Sun deemed necessary for their perfect world. I do wonder if perhaps this time the Seasons aside from Autumn are Master Rules, though, since there must not be any intention of introducing Revolution and initiating Ragnarok this time (doing so would only destroy the world, and this is the last loop, so that would defeat the purpose)

Some of you may recall that I actually once suggested that Autumn was intended to be a part of the final world specifically because it was the only Season that Sun didn't ask for the neutralization of, and then expressed shock that Autumn was set to be neutralized in 101 as that contradicted that earlier evidence, so I think it's pretty fun to learn here that the Master Rules, despite appearing on that tablet, aren't permanently set in stone between loops. Like in Yugioh, the Master Rules are updated along with the particularly big updates to the meta (the introductions of new card types there, the reset of the loop here), presumably based on the events of the previous loops

One question does haunt me here, though: if the Master Rules are chosen after the previous Ragnarok, and they existed before the Quests started...does that mean that Juiz was lying about the function of the tablet after all? I suspected she did for a while since the tablet was only ever mentioned by her as a way to justify how she knew about Ragnarok before it occurred, but now we're learning that some of the Master Rules are completely unrelated to the success or failure of the quests? Are any of the 101 related to it? Are only the first 10 prior to it, since Apocalypse says they're the ones added in "the initial stage"? It's a subtle inconsistency, and one that doesn't really change much of anything, but until Tozuka comes right out and explains the exact procedure, it's going to be nagging at the back of my mind

It's ALSO interesting that Sick remembers Juiz; we never got any indication that the previous UMAs could remember anything between loops, but Sick refers to Juiz directly. Is this a quirk of the top 10 Master Rules, all Master Rules, or the final loop? I hope Tozuka answers all of these questions in the volume releases if not the series proper, I live for this kind of thing

Oh, then there's the fact that Sick looks human. Not even in a subtle, human-shaped monster kinda way like Seal, but like actually human. Again, a Master Rule trait, or a Sick trait specifically? That big X across his chest is clearly meant to denote that he's the 10th Master Rule, so do all of the top 10s have a Roman numeral? Is Move a Master Rule, or are his Roman numerals meant to convey that dice are used to determine how far you move in games?

Despite the fact that Apocalypse told us that the Master Rules are different each time, it should be noted that there is plenty of room for overlap; Ruin told us pretty plainly that Sick was a Master Rule last time by saying that there was meaning in his illness, as there are no mistakes in the Master Rules

I'm willing to bet that Death is always the first Master Rule chosen, as otherwise, everyone would be passing through the loops since they would be incapable of dying. Since they can die, that must mean Death exists and is chosen for one of the permanent slots very early, possibly even before the initiation of the loop itself

To talk about the chapter itself, I adore the color page and the final page; they're such celebrations of the story so far and so perfectly call back to the beginning of the series to get us excited for the anime. Medaka Box did the same thing for season 2, bringing back the Front Six in their original outfits to advertise their upcoming anime appearance, and this is clearly doing the same thing. Seeing Void in his armor, Gina with her hat, Shen and Mui with their gloves, it's all so nostalgic!

And let's not forget: THAT'S OUR ISSHIN, BABY!!! Probably. I guess it's possible that XII is still kicking after all this time, but I'm decently sure that's Haruka, and I'm excited to see what's different about her this time, if anything. She should only be about 16 this time, so she should have a few differences to her build or demeanor, I would think

Finally, not to beat a dead horse, but...GOD DAMN, LEILA! "[The best thing in life would be] the three of us being together always"??? You can't tell me this ain't poly!!! You CAN'T (forgive the pun) rip this away from me, Tozuka!!!

I'm pretty shocked that I'm not getting much to say on Rip unlocking Unrepair, though. Like...the scene itself was pretty underwhelming, to be honest, I guess mostly because everyone in context knew more or less what was going to happen, so there wasn't a ton of room for surprise or suspense. I guess I thought that Rip was going to get Unrepair while fighting Sick, not awkwardly recreating the previous circumstances, though I guess that's just how God works, huh? Hopefully I'll get to dive more into RIp's character when he gets Blade Runner, which weirdly wasn't a part of this chapter considering how much focus it got last week

I'm really looking forward to the Sick fight, and since it's starting in Phase 2, I'm willing to bet that this is going to be our second Phase 3 fight as well. I have no idea what that will entail, but I'm looking forward to it, almost as much as I'm looking forward to the anime in just a couple of days!!!

[One of the guards or bystandard looked inside to see hundreds of different warriors and monsters and even gods knocked out cold as m!reader defeated all of them but the guard or bystandard was more shocked because

m!reader didn't even have a scratch on him!?]

[as the fight was about to start qin shi Huang and hades didn't realize that it was m!reader

cus he looked way different and he has a Blindfold and so when they heard his name they thought it was just a coincidence]

how they're fight would kinda go:

[Akaiju attacked m!reader first with a powerful attack but m!reader manage to block it but he still got thrown on one of the arena walls which broke in impact]

[he sat up from the attack as he feels blood run down his face he put his hand to his face and touched it before looking at his hand seeing blood but instead of being scared or worried he smiled brightly as he wanted a good fair fight]

m!reader:my my! What a powerful attack say you won't mind if i return the favor?~

[as m!reader swang his snyth at akaiju also making Black spikes appear as it hit akaiju also making him crash to the wall with more impact]

[after a few minutes akaiju manage to hit m!reader in the face cutting his blindfold and in the process cutting his face leaving a large wound like this:

as the blindfold fell off everyone could see his eyes which were Beautiful…his eyes we're a beautiful golden yellow as his pupil looked like a snake but with a Black star behind it outlined with white as it almost look like it glowed and also revealing who he was]

[m!reader usually wore a blindfold because he rely more on his sentences than his site but by now using his eyes which had a special ability which he could see his opponents weak spots and next move but it was still a little hard because Both of him and Akaiju are very injured]

[and even tho he had a large wound on his face he still had a bright smile as he wipes the Blood away not caring about the pain]

[qin shi Huang and hades on the other hand despite being injured because of there fight wanted to run in the arena to get you out of there not wanting to loss you but there's was nothing they could do as the round already started]

[In the middle of the fight, Akaiju randomly asked m!reader, "tell me mortal…What makes someone a king/emperor?"

m!reader chuckled at the question, Before He answered"A king/emperor is the one who leads his people with grace and wisdom. [a few more minutes of fighting. randomly akaiju stopped. as he lifted up his spear m! reader prepared for him to attack…but to the surprise of the gods and humanity as well a m!reader the embodiment stabbed himself deep on the side of his stomach Before ripping out the spear giving himself a very fatal Blow. and as Blood ran down the head of the spear he was smiling/smirking at m!y/n

m!y/n quickly regain his composure again smiling as he realized that akaiju wanted a fair fight and a fair fight he will deliver]

[Both started to fight more harder both using they're most powerful attack…after a few more minutes

m!y/n barely manage to Dodge one of akaiju's attack getting the side of his torso stabbed so he swang his snyth cutting akaiju chest as akaiju fell back

And after a few seconds akaiju stood up as m!y/n prepared to fight again but akaiju Drop his weapon and looked at m!y/n as he slowly faded away]

Akaiju:it was an honor to fight with someone like you and I want to thank you…for this fight

[all the gods and humans looked at m!reader in shocked that he actually defeated someone so much more powerful then all the gods!?]

[as m!y/n walked back stage he unfused with his Valkyrie before he looked up seeing Brunhilde,göll,as well as hades, qin shi Huang going towards them giving them a weak smile before Passing out but was catched by his Valkyrie who was very worried]

[yes the side of his torso is gone because of akaiju's attack and if you wondering why he kinda looks like he got set on fire because he did get set on fire during the fight.]

I hope you enjoy this my dear- I’m only going to be writing after the battle, as you’ve already done the hard part of the battle for me, and I don’t want to waste your hard work.

-Qin Shi Huang was beside himself, ordering the nurses and anyone who was listening to get to you, something Brunnhilde was quickly mimicking- calling for aide.

-He stared down at your body, in awe that you were so strong, but seeing you now so broken- he felt scared. He would never admit it out loud, but his heart was hammering in his chest, afraid that he was going to lose you.

-Doctors and nurses rushed you into surgery, where QSH tried to follow, but Brunnhilde stopped him, lifting an arm to catch him, but for once, he didn’t fight her, watching your body being wheeled away.

-Tears welled in his eyes and Hades pulled him back, letting the human sag into him, who kneeled, allowing the emperor to have his moment of weakness as it was just him, Brunnhilde, and Goll there and he clutched at Hades, crying heavily.

-The damage to your torso was extensive, it took the doctors so long to get you to stop bleeding so they could get in there and patch you up enough to get you into a tank, a water tank that stimulated rapid healing.

-That was their goal, to get you to that point, because if they could do that- there would be no question that you would survive.

-It was hours later when a nurse came out, finding both men sitting outside the surgery room. QSH’s head was resting on Hades’ arm, almost asleep, but as soon as they saw her- they both were quickly standing.

-She bowed politely before giving a small nod, speaking to him gently, “Y/N will be all right.” Those five little words made the two men melt back into their seats, overwhelmed with relief which made her smile softly.

-The nurse held a hand to the side, motioning towards a side door, “Follow me.” QSH was instantly on his feet, rushing after her, even beating her to the door, opening it for her before she led both men down a long hallway that smelled clean- it smelled like medicine.

-She came to a room and opened the door, “In here- Lord Y/N will be fine in time.” QSH saw you laying in the water tank, one similar to what he had been in after his fight, seeing you covered in stitches and bandages, quickly approaching.

-Hades watched QSH sink to his knees by your side, his hands touching the glass of the tank before exhaling deeply. Hades turned, surprising her, “Thank you for bringing us to him.” She nodded, seeing how much love they both had for you, and she bowed her head, before motioning to a button, “If he gives any indication that he is waking up- as in his eyes open, please press this and we will be right here.”

-Hades nodded as QSH didn’t respond and she took her leave.

-You slept through the remainder of Ragnarok, blissfully unaware that humanity managed to win their salvation. Hades shirked his duties, for once, as both men refused to leave your side, watching the matches from your room, telling you about each one.

-They didn’t know if you could hear them, but they wanted to tell you anyway.

-You didn’t wake up for another two weeks, but according to the doctors, several that QSH cornered, wanting answers, that was actually pretty good, based on your wounds.

-QSH made sure that he was the first one you saw after they pulled you out of the tank, dying you off and dressing you, he held your face between his hands, talking down to you and as your eyes opened he quickly launched a kiss attack which made you groan in pain.

-Hades was quick to react, whacking him hard on the top of his head, leaving the emperor with a large steaming lump on his head while you got tended to by the nurses.

-Everything hurt, but that was mainly because you had been lying in on position for over two weeks, even if you were in water, so you were basically super stiff.

-You had to get physical therapy, to loosen up your muscles, something both you and your lover knew, but when it came to other things, like eating, you weren’t going to lift a finger!!

-QSH loved doting on you- he found it enjoyable while you pouted, telling him to stop teasing you- which of course made him want to do it even more.

-Hades was concerned for you, treating you like a delicate flower, which you didn’t care for, at least all the time, pouting up at him as he wrapped you in a blanket, “I told you I’m fine!” he just grinned, pecking your puffed cheek lightly, not accepting no for an answer.

-Once you were cleared, you were so happy to be back outside, but annoyed because you were still on restricted duty, you couldn’t work out, train, or lift anything heavier than a teacup for at least another week!!

-You were happy to be home in your palace, one you shared with Hades and QSH, but you were cranky, as you were bored, wanting to go out and do stuff, at least run around, but they weren’t letting any of that happen- they watched you like a pair of hawks and would scold you, carrying you back to your bed that was covered with pillows, and pinning you down in it, if either one found you out and about without one of them.

-You couldn’t help but pout, folding your arms across your chest like you were a child, “I want to go outside!” Hades was to your left, hugging you, but his arms were like two steel bars, holding you down, “It’s raining- you could get sick!” you groaned before QSH returned with some hot tea, “Here Y/N this will help warm you up.”

-You took it, muttering out a quiet thank you, before he joined you on the massive bed, sitting beside you on your right, “You’ll be able to start training in two days- you’re almost there!”

-You sighed softly, knowing they were right before you grinned like a gremlin, “So does that mean when I’m clear we can-” Hades put his hand over your mouth, scolding you, “No- the doctors said at least another two weeks for that.”

-You groaned, falling back into Hades who laughed warmly, followed by QSH, as they didn’t like waiting either, but it was to make sure you were well.

-You sighed softly, looking at these two men, a small, fond smile appearing on your lips, you were so lucky to have these two.

Summary: Akira awakes on the Ragnarok and is greeted by her new old friend. [Hythwolemet, Hyth and Hades Stay AU, follow up to prompt 3, but can be read alone.]

It was dark when Akira next woke, her head pounding and her body aching. Through the shadows, she could see the vaguest outlines of the interior of the Ragnarok. Akira laid on what appeared to be a thin mattress set on the floor, a sheet thin blanket protecting her from any stray breeze. The last thing she could remember was fading quickly in that place at the edge of existence, and she frowned in confusion. How could that be possible? Was this some dream her mind conjured up in its last moments?

"Good morning," a familiar voice greeted, and she turned her head (more flopped it to the side really) to see Hythlodaeus, the same as he'd appeared in the field of Elpis flowers, soft smile in place.

"Am I dead?" She frowned, and he couldn't conceal his amused chuckle.

"No, though you gave it your very best try," the words would have been admonishing, but his voice was kind as ever, and he reached to take her hand. "You're lucky Hydaelyn's magic was still working or you might not have made it."

"I don't understand."

"We came back. To see you safely home," he explained. "You really must be more careful. Your friends would be distraught without you." Akira's scowl deepened.

"'We'? You mean to tell me Em– Hades came too?" As if he needed another reason to resent me, she added to herself.

"It was his idea, actually. He said I could go on if I wanted, but I couldn't very well leave you both here alone could I?" He gave her a look far fonder than she felt she deserved. "You're both hopeless without me, after all."

"I'll have you know I've slain gods," she huffed, though her expression was teasing.

"Oh, I know, but look at the state you allowed yourself to come to. How could I rest easy knowing you're not taking care of yourself?"

"... I'm not her."

"I know."

The silence was somehow both easy and strained, that small part of her that still carried Persephone's will, her hopes for the future, overjoyed at her two greatest loves being returned to her, but Akira herself feeling a deep guilt, and consumed by the thought that she did not deserve such borrowed happiness.

"Where is everyone?"

"Asleep," Hythlodaeus ran his thumb along the scales upon her hand. "It's been a long day, for everyone involved, so I told them I'd watch over you while they got some rest."

"Hades, too?"

"One of your friends, the man with the long coat and white hair? Refused to leave the room unless he left too. So he's presumably getting some rest as well. Or, well, I hope he is." Akira rolled her eyes at that.

"Thancred is ridiculous," she muttered, though the complaint lacked any bite. "If Hades wanted me dead he could have just left me there."

"True, but from what I've heard this Thancred has good reasons to be suspicious."

Akira wanted to respond, but her eyelids grew heavy again, her body still so exhausted from her last, desperate fight. Hythlodaeus smoothed her hair back from her face gently, gaze fonder than she felt she deserved.

"Get some more rest, I'll be here if you need anything."

She meant to argue, but sleep rose to claim her before she could utter a single word.

Something Real: Chapter Twelve

Pairings: Loki X Reader

Summary: Loki and Reader learn some things about Maza…

A/N: Sorry it took me a while to post…I was on vacation and then I found out I have COVID…yay me! Forgive me if there are any mistakes…COVID brain 😷

“Alright boys have a good day at school.”, you kneel down and give the twins a hug. “I love you both, if you need anything have the school call me ok?”.

They both nod, Loki kneels down as well and gives them his own hugs, “we love you both, have a great day.”.

“Love you too.”, they say in unison and then they turn and walk to the school hand in hand.

“I hope Narfi will be ok today.”, you express your worry out loud.

Loki places his hand on your shoulder, “he will be fine, they both will be.”

Loki then opens a portal to the hospital so you can get to work, “what are your plans for today?”, you ask.

“I will be going to speak with Thor shortly.”, he responds quietly. You assume to try and get some more information on Maza.

You nod, “ok…well tell him I said hello. Have a good day…”, you feel awkward now. You want to give him a hug and kiss like you have been but this lingering problem with Maza, you thought better of it.

Loki notices your conflicted emotions and decides to make it easier on you, “I will see you later to collect the children, have a good day at work y/n.”. He opens another portal straight to Thor’s house and it closes behind him. You put your head down and go inside the hospital to start your work day. The first person you see is Kelly of course, “hey y/n! You never texted me yesterday, was everything ok?”

You shake your head, “not really…”, your eyes immediately start filling with tears. “Can we talk?”, you ask her, thankful that you can tell her everything that’s bothering you. She was one of the few people you can trust and you knew that anything you told her about Loki would stay between you both.

“Of course! Amira?”, she gets the other nurses attention, “y/n and I are going to talk in the office for a little bit, do you mind holding down the front?”

“Sure, go ahead”, she says with a smile.

You and Kelly walk into the office and you both sit down, you take a deep breath to calm your emotions. You knew that if you got too lost in them that Narfi might be able to feel your distressed emotions again. You take a deep breath and start telling Kelly what happened, “do you remember that woman from yesterday?”, Kelly nods. “She told me that she and Loki had an affair on Asgard before Ragnarok….”

Kelly’s eyes open wide with shock, “what?! Why the fuck would she come to your job to tell you that?!”

“She said that she felt like I deserved to know and that she had talked to Loki the day before, she assumed that he wouldn’t tell me…which he didn’t and now I know why he was so distant…I confronted him about it when he got home.”

“And what did he say?”.

“He said that he doesn’t really believe her, that he doesn’t believe he would betray me that way…all it did was convince me that he will eventually want to leave me…that I’m not enough and if the kids weren’t here…”, you don’t finish your sentence. You don’t need to.

Kelly looks at you sadly, “y/n no…he loves you..like I told you before, everyone can see the way he looks at you. I don’t understand one thing though…”

You look at her confused.. “what?”

“Why can’t he tell if she’s lying or not? I thought he was the God of them. Wouldn’t he be able to tell?”

You shook your head, “I don’t know, I never really questioned him too much about that. I only really focused on the fact that his variant had cheated on me..”

“I feel like you guys need to address that first..that sounds a little suspicious to me…who is this Maza girl anyway? It’s convenient that she’s the only one who remembers this affair..”

Just as you start to really let Kelly’s words sink in there was a light knock on the door.

Knock Knock Knock

You dry the tears on your face, “come in..”

The door opens and one of the younger healers comes in.

“Hello ladies..a word?”, she asks sweetly.

You look at Kelly and you both nod, “how can we help you Birget?”

“Lady Y/n, as you know I was not a palace healer but one of the palace maids.”, this was the case for a lot of the younger healers, most of them deciding to change professions in New Asgard. “I noticed someone I knew from my time as a maid in Asgard here yesterday…Maza?”, you look at her in surprise and a little suspicion.

“Yes..what about her?”, Kelly asks for you.

Birget looks to you, “well, my lady if I may, I noticed your swift departure yesterday after her visit and I feel she might have said something that upset you..you see my lady, I worked alongside Maza and I feel there is something you should know. I suspect I am correct and she did indeed say something damaging to you about the prince?”

You nod.

Birget nods and continues, “Maza had a deep…obsession with Prince Loki…”

“Obsession?”, you ask.

“She had this idea in her head that if she became close enough with the prince that he would see that they were a good match. She studied things he was interested in, spent her time in the library reading the books he would return after he read them himself. She tried to work her way up to being a personal maid of one of the members of the royal family…but then Prince Loki perished…or we thought he did…and then he was returned and sentenced to the dungeons she attempted to be the personal maid to him there…”. Birget giggled slightly, “silly girl knew that it was the Allmother’s own royal maids that delivered to Prince Loki”, her face grows somber, “…and then…the dark elves came…Prince Loki perished…again…a few years pass…and then the day that Thor returned, revealing Loki’s disguise…Maza was so happy to see him again…”, you interrupt her.

“Wait…Maza didn’t know about Loki’s illusion as Odin?”, you ask.

She shakes her head, “no of course not, no one knew…and when it was revealed that he was infatuated with you a midgardian? That you had been courting him that entire time? She was irate…and after her visit yesterday I can only assume she had said something hurtful to you…I just wanted you to know of her past before she causes irreparable damage to your future..I’ll leave you now…”, Birget goes to leave.

“Wait..”, you stop her, “does Maza have magic?”.

Birget thinks for a moment, “no my lady, but as I said she spent a lot of time reading things Prince Loki had studied, I would not be surprised if she…picked up a few things…”.

“How do you know all of this? You know a lot for someone who just worked with her..”, Kelly asks with some suspicion.

“We were roommates, Maza and I. I always thought she was harmless with her infatuation…but now…”, she looks over to you, “I fear she may do something desperate and as I said the way you left yesterday..I would never forgive myself if she did something to hurt you or your family.”

Birget leaves the room and you look over at Kelly, “huh…I don’t know what to make of that…”, you admit.

Kelly looks at you pensively, “I think you need to talk to Loki about all of this…the possibility of Maza lying about all of this is more likely now…”

~~Meanwhile~~

The portal closes behind Loki and he closes his eyes, he hated this feeling of you pulling away from him. He needed to fix this, quickly.

Knock Knock Knock

The door opened and Thor looked at his crestfallen brother, “oh Loki..come in…I assume y/n did not take it well..”.

Loki walks in the house with his head down, “I don’t know where to even begin Thor…she knew before I could tell her..”

Thor’s eyes open wide in surprise, “what? How?”

Loki plops down on the couch, “Maza…she went to the hospital and told her everything…y/n was waiting for me at home when I left yours…she told me she wanted me to leave so she can think about everything and what she wants to do next..she believes that I will become bored of her and leave her and the children..”.

“Oh Loki..”, Thor looks to the ground and shakes his head as he walks over to the couch to have a seat with his brother.

“Not long after I left the house, she called me and said there was an emergency with Narfi at the school.”, Loki continued but Thor interrupted him. “An emergency?! What has happened?!”.

“Relax oaf and I will tell you…his power as an empath is getting stronger and he doesn’t have the ability to control it completely just yet…he felt y/n’s and my emotions and he became overwhelmed…we brought him home and when we started telling the boys that I would be staying with you for the next few days Narfi’s emotions caused him to have his first magical burst.”

“Norns…is he alright?”, Thor asks in concern.

“Yes..he destroyed a good portion of the home which I was able to fix immediately. Vali was actually the one to help him draw his power back…it was wonderful to watch, their bond is getting stronger the more I work with them.”, Loki couldn’t help the goofy proud smile on his face, his children made him so happy, which then quickly changed to a sad smile. “I can’t lose them Thor…”.

Thor places his hand on Loki’s back, “we will get to the bottom of this Loki and if this Maza woman is telling you the truth then…you will have to do everything in your power to prove to y/n that you won’t make the same mistake as the Loki from this time..I’m so sorry brother..”.

Loki nods, “you’re right..I need your help Thor…I need to find out more about Maza, I still don’t believe her story completely.”.

“I don’t understand why you would not be able to tell she was lying..do you believe she has cast some kind of spell?”.

“It’s possible but doubtful…it would have to be incredibly powerful magic in order to get a lie passed me…she could be working with someone who is…”

“Let us go speak with Val, I believe we keep a log of the current population of New Asgard with their past occupations. Maybe we will learn something there.”

Loki nods, “let us go, the quicker I find answers the quicker I get my family back..”

The brother’s walk out of the house and another portal takes them directly to Val’s office. They knock and hear her voice to enter not long after.

“Uh oh, what brings both Odinson’s to my office? Should I be concerned?”

“Val, we need to see the log of current Asgardians living in New Asgard.”, Thor asks.

“What for?”, she asks suspiciously.

“There is someone making claims against me and I need to find out if what she is saying has any merit.”, Loki explains.

“What kind of claims?”, Val questions.

“What does it matter?”, Loki asks annoyed.

“It matters a great deal…did you bring harm to this person? Are you planning on bringing harm to this person with the information you learn? I have a duty to protect the people of New Asgard Loki…even from it’s Princes.”

Thor interjects, “Val please, my brother has no intention of hurting this woman…she is claiming something that could tear my brother’s family apart…if not for Loki…do it for y/n…for Narfi and Vali?…”

She stares them both down and then rolls her eyes, “don’t make me regret this…please..”

They both nod, “thank you Val.”, Loki thanks her in his relief.

She stands and walks to the bookshelf behind her and pulls out the book that holds the information they require, she opens it “name?”

“Maza…that’s all..”, Loki tells her.

“Daughter of?….”

Loki shrugs his shoulders.

“Wow you both came prepared I see..what does she do here currently?”, she asks.

“She works in the newly built restaurant in town, I don’t know what she did previously..”

Val nods her head and uses her finger to skim through the names on the page.

“Maza….Maza…Maza…ahh..here…Maza Issidottir…she was a palace maid..”

“A maid? Oh brother this doesn’t bode well for you…I know of your escapades with the palace maids..”, Thor says in concern.

“Hush brother…I still don’t believe the story she’s telling..”

“What story exactly?”, Val asks curiously.

Loki just stares at the page so Thor answers, “this woman is claiming my brother had an affair with her just before Ragnarok…”

“Betraying y/n?”, Val says nastily.

“I would never betray y/n. I love her.”, Loki defends.

“Clearly.”, Val sneers in response.

“Don’t speak as if you know, you weren’t there! Neither was I for that matter! My variant is responsible for all of this and I’m here paying the price!”, Loki storms out.

Thor looks at Val, “this has disrupted their lives, the children are upset. Y/n is devastated. Loki feels in is heart that she is lying and I believe him. I will do everything I can do to find the answers he is searching for, I finally see my brother happy and at peace..I don’t want this to destroy that for him.”. Thor didn’t say anything else, he just walked out the door in search of his brother. He finds him sitting on the steps of the town hall, staring down at his hands, Thor sits down next to him and places his hand on Loki’s back. “All will be well brother, you will see.”

Loki snaps his head at his brother and Thor is taken aback by his red tear filled eyes, “how Thor? How will this all be well..she will never get passed this…”

“Loki…y/n loves you…as I said before, if it is true, you will need to prove to y/n that you will not make that same mistake…”

Loki closes his eyes and nods his head, the motions forcing his tears to fall.

“Prince Loki?”

Thor looked up and didn’t recognize the woman but Loki’s body immediately seized.

“Maza. What do you want?..”, Loki asks nastily.

“Are you alright?”, she asks shyly.

“Am I alright?…no Maza, I am not alright…you went to y/n’s job and told her your lies…how do you think I am doing exactly?!”, Loki stands from the step.

Thor stands with him and places a hand on his chest, “brother, calm.”, he turns his attention towards Maza. “Maza…I suggest you leave, you have caused much distress to my brother and his family.”

“My prince, I only wished to…”, she starts to defend.

“To what?! Destroy my life? My family? I came here looking for peace! Y/n, Narfi and Vali are my peace…and you are trying to take them away from me…do as my brother suggests and leave before I do something else to regret.”

Maza gives Loki one last sad look, “my apologies My Prince.”. She curtsy’s and turns away from Loki and Thor. They don’t notice an irate look take up the features of her face as she walks away.

Thor gets in Loki’s line of sight and grabs him by the face, “I know you have those dark thoughts running through your head.”.

Thor increases the strength in his hold and shakes Loki’s head, “and what of y/n? What would she think of you if you just outright killed her? And your sons? What would you be teaching them?”.

“They would never know!”, Loki tries to convince Thor. And possibly himself.

“But you would”, Thor shakes him again…a little harder, “you would brother and it would destroy your soul…you would feel the weight of this secret every time you looked into your children’s eyes…every I love you you express to y/n will always stink with the stench of your lie…we will find another way…we will prove her dishonesty brother..”

Loki’s cellphone rings. He looks at the screen and see’s y/n’s face on it. He immediately rips himself away from Thor’s grasp and answers, scared another incident happened at the school. It was still early afternoon so you shouldn’t be getting out of work yet.

“Y/n?”, he closes his eyes to calm his beating heart.

“Loki, I just learned something about Maza. Can you come to the hospital?”.

“Yes, Thor and I will be there in a moment.”, he hangs up and opens a portal to the hospital. Thor steps through with him no questions asked, they immediately run inside and they see Kelly up front. “Kelly! Where is y/n?”, Loki asks y/n’s friend.

“Office.”, she was with a patient in the front so she just points to the door that y/n was waiting behind.

Loki nods his thanks and him and Thor go to the room Kelly pointed to. Loki thrusts the door open but it’s…empty. Where were you? Loki walks out to Kelly and politely interrupts the interaction between Kelly and her patient, “excuse me, forgive me, nurse y/n was in which office?”. Trying to sound like it was a work related situation for Kelly’s sake.

She looks over to where Thor was waiting and she nods her head, “that’s the office I left her in..she’s not there?”.

Loki shakes his head, “no..is it possible she left to go to a different office?”

Kelly shakes her head, “no..she said she would be in there just in case we got swamped up here…did you try calling her phone?”

“Right.”, he turns and immediately dialed your number and he hears your ringtone but it sounds far away. He looks towards the office where Thor was waiting and sees Thor walk out of it with y/n’s phone in his hand. Loki runs over to Thor and stares at the phone in his hand, it was a picture of the two of them. Loki starts to feel panic.

“Where is she?”

so im having discussions with myself about it, this is my latest plot lol this is quite loongg

my latest headcannon and imagination:the ror three brothers ehem sleeping 'arrangements' vary differently, esp since apparently mortals arent included on their menu. before zeus became the old man that he is (about at least 100,000 years ago in my head) probably sleep around not as frequently as whore zeus in pjo and myths, and our ror fave version actually mostly has safe sex, would you look at that pjo/myth zeus take notes. besides the quintessential gods/goddesses he had from goddesses nymphs titans etc he has no other kids.

poseidons so funny to me because hes very late in his awakening lmao (500,000 years ago in my estimate, the goddesses and nymphs have been waiting for a billion years for him to notice them and even then all he does is a side glance lol) its a slow buildup of horniness, dude almost has no emotions, his capability to be horny must be stunted too lol hes like what is this stirring below my body, so annoying but well gotta take care of it, his partners are so happy to be chosen even if hes a stiff ass bitch in bed who only takes what he needs blegh, makes sure to not give them even a drop of his ehem, not in the mouth or anywhere else because duh no children, and these immortals could have a trick to get impregnated through the mouth or something lol. better be safe. and then percy says hi lmao. anyways, the goddesses asks when the next time is, preparing to be told he wants them again next week, and hes like 'what next time?'.. and then its between a thousand years to a couple thousand more before the next session again lmao.. and sooo, when its only been a few centuries and hes felt the stirring of his loins lol because of percy, mf is confused. if persephone isnt in ror, which i dont think she is (hades is too obsessed with his brothers to bother with her anyway), i think poseidon hades and apollos named attacks and weapon based on diff goddesses is more like a reference by the mangaka lmao theyre like yeah sorry we're not showing those goddesses, but here they are as a battle move. because really? poseidon naming an attack medusa alope demeter because he slept with them is unlikely, he'd probably be beyond disgusted this bish bigtitty man ugh, also some of them are humans i think. besides his bros this ass probably forgets all the 'filths' names.

i hoped we got a little more worldbuilding in the manga, its hard to put the pieces of the events together since we dont really know which to discard from the myths to make sense of the ror canon. so im grasping at straws weaving ror canon and my arsenic blues headcannons lol.. dont get me started on the ragnarok fights, i have a lot of problems with them. the stab stab stab of poseidon and hades makes me want to bang my head against the table. you have the king of the seas and king of the underworld and make all their attacks stab hard and stab harder, its a waste to me. i saw youre planning to change parts of the ror fights, and i hope the fights itself and their attacks would be changed for the better. i love your writing so much, i have no doubts you can do it justice.
