Both of yours and his parents were able to visit they came together and stayed till her 1st birthday. They helped out a lot with the baby you were able to go to work so was Chan.

There was a knock on the door "Mr. bang that's it for today you need to return back to your room," said the nurse Felix and Hyunjin behind her.

"Come Eli let's go watch that new minion movie I promised you,"said Felix

"Am staying with y\n you go have fun we will wait for you here Eli," said Chan

2. Do the other companions have special comments or reactions upon recruiting your Tav?

Gale: "Oh wonderful. A SORCERER, please try to not blow us up with some wild magic!" (<-beloved idiot who sometimes does not see his hypocrisy)

Astarion: "Oh lovely... another spell slinger... at least he has nice horns... good to hold onto~"

Not really... he has a slight falling out with Karlach after meeting Gortash. Sirius is obsessed with trying to give anyone and everyone a chance of redemption... Karlach isn't happy with that in the case of Gortash. He comes to side with her... but it reminds him of the fact that he'd probably be better off dead and tortured for eternity too :,)

Good "performance":

5. How do they react to the Player Character taking their first tadpole power?

Flirting, or hidden flirting. Just showing a lot of care for him. If not clearly being flirted with, but high approval and making a lot of comments that could be taken either way, he would probably approach them by Act 2 with actual feelings.

One could have sex scenes with him before, triggering no romance or even locking themselves out of it with the wrong dialogue.

6. How do they react to the player character breaking up with them, or choosing another character over them?

In the case of choosing a different character: Heartbroken if it was romantic and they acted in love until then. Then his approval will go down HARD, and he would probably be much colder to them for quite a while. To open his heart to someone is difficult, to abuse it? Unforgivable.

Breaking up: Still heartbroken, but he understands that feelings can not be forced and sometimes change. He'd still be a bit distant for a while, but no approval loss.

7. What questions can Zethino ask the PC about Tav in the Love Test?

"Poor boy without a home or childhood... tell me, what do you think his youth was like?"

Sweet, the horrors of the future far away

He was born a monster enjoying carnage and chaos

He probably had no childhood, he just spawned into existence at the beginning of this adventure

In reference to this ask meme.

1. Is your Tav a romanceable character? Are there any specific requirements to romancing them?

They are, and there are no specific requirements. In true bard fashion, they're down for pretty much anything and anyone, as long as approval isn't atrocious.

2. Does your Tav need to be flirted with to start the romance, or will they approach the PC themselves if approval is high enough?

Hyacinth will always have lowkey flirty dialogue with the PC, even if approval is neutral, and they'll approve of the PC flirting back. Similar to Lae'zel and Astarion, they'll offer to hook up before the party.

4. Do they have a special romance scene at the tiefling/goblin party?

Tiefling party: Hyacinth is alternating between dancing with a few of the tieflings, fun village dances, spinning around with some of the kids, and playing their violin alongside Alfira's lute music.

When the PC approaches them, they'll be invited to dance alongside Hyacinth and the tieflings, and depending on player choice, they can either join a friendly group dance or pull Hyacinth into a more intimate position for a one-on-one dance. Afterwards, the PC can hook up with Hyacinth (again, if they were approached beforehand).

Goblin party: No dancing, no violin music. Hyacinth is quietly nursing a drink, their face a mask of neutrality. When the PC approaches them, they're perfectly pleasant, congratulating them on a job well executed. There is no additional romance scene at the goblin party, and the PC can't sleep with them either.

5. Does the romance have different branching paths, or just one route to take?

The PC can harden Hyacinth (similar to Leliana or Alistair in DAO), and depending on if they did, their romance plays out differently.

Non-hardened Hyacinth is content with the life they have, wanting to be there for their daughter but is also open to traveling (anywhere except the Underdark). Their Act 3 romance scene is serenading the PC on the roof of the Elfsong Tavern, and watching the sunset together as they tell the PC of their past, both the good and the bad.

Hardened Hyacinth wants to get ahead, sick of limiting themself to the life of an entertainer. Their mother taught them these skills for a reason after all, and they'll put them to use as they were intended, manipulating and scheming their way into the circles of the rich and powerful of the Sword Coast. Their Act 3 romance scene also happens on the roof of the Elfsong tavern, but at sunset. They don't play the violin for the PC, instead hooking up with them. There is no talk about their past, either. Instead, Hyacinth talks about their plans for the future, how they will finally take their rightful place among the elites of Baldur's Gate.

7. What questions can Zethino ask the PC about Tav in the Love Test?

Q: What is Hyacinth proudest of? 1. Their artistic talent - they're a master with the violin! (Approval, they'll give a mock bow) 2. Their ability to manipulate people. (Disapproval unless you're heading for their bad ending) 3. Their prowess in bed. (Approval, they think this is hilarious)

Q: What is home to them? 1. The people they love. (Approval, they'll comment that the PC is a sap) 2. Menzoberranzan. (Disapproval, hasn't been their home in a long long time) 3. Baldur's Gate. (Approval, they'll say that, no matter where they go, life always brings them back to the Gate in the end)

Q: What are they most afraid of? 1. Lolth. (Disapproval, while they did fear Lolth once, they've long since cut her out of their life, very deliberately giving her no more power over them) 2. Messing up on stage. (Approval, though they comment that a true artist can cover up whatever kind of mistake they make without issue) 3. Becoming their mother. (no approval change, this is the correct answer)

12. Free space! Share anything from your companion!Tav au!

I love the mechanic in Dragon Age that companions get together if you don't date either of them (like Dorian and Bull), so I'm gonna say that, if the PC doesn't romance Astarion then Hyacinth and him are in an established relationship by the time of the epilogue.

Avoiding the ME1 LI Romances

...And also what to do if you’ve already triggered them.

This is a post I’ve been wanting to remake forever, and with the remaster around the corner I thought now was a good time to finally get on it.

A few things first: I say “avoiding the ME1 LI romances”, but in reality this is mostly going to be about Kaidan and Ashley. While there are a few ways around Liara’s romance I’ve discovered, I have never been able to find a simple way to avoid triggering it. (I’ll get to that later.)

This post will be split into three sections: Kaidan, Ashley, and Liara. Kaidan and Ashley’s sections specifically will go over how to avoid triggering their romances entirely, and then the dialogue choices you need to take if you want to end the romance if it’s already been triggered. I have also included a few bonus things for the both of them, such as avoiding the flirting during the scenic view cutscene in the Citadel Wards. For Kaidan specifically, I have also included content about his mechanics in ME3.

Please note that most of these have been accomplished on console. I have gotten several PC users who do attest that, at the very least, Kaidan’s portion works for them. But on the off-chance that platform influences other parts of Kaidan’s, or Ashley and Liara’s, I thought it was worth mentioning. It should also be said that, obviously, these are all using the original games as a basis, though I am not expecting MELE to change any of this.

I will also be using both my Kaidan transcript and Ashley transcript as reference for their dialogue. I recommend following along there if you find Tumblr’s formatting confusing.

Final note before we begin: this post is not an open invitation to hate on any of these characters. ME1 is turning 14 this year and ME3 recently turned 9. Anything you have to say about these characters and their romance mechanics has already been beaten to death, brought back to life, and beaten to death again. No one wants to hear it, least of all me. Please keep your comments to yourself and be civil.

KAIDAN

“I WANT TO AVOID TRIGGERING IT ENTIRELY, WHAT DO I DO?”

Kaidan’s romance can be triggered after the first main mission has been completed. For many players, I imagine this is Therum, but it really doesn’t matter which mission it is.

Kaidan will prompt the conversation, as he will for every other post-main mission conversation so long as his romance remains active. This conversation will be about his time at Brain Camp. You can read the conversation in his transcript if you find it easier to follow along, though I have done my best to format this post as cleanly as possible.

KAIDAN: Commander, do you have a minute?

SHEPARD: (You can choose whatever dialogue option you want. It makes no difference yet.)

KAIDAN: Off the record, I think there’s something wrong here. This Saren is looking for records on some kind of galactic extinction, but we can’t get backup from the Council? Sorry, Commander. There’s writing on the wall here, but someone isn’t reading it.

SHEPARD: (Again, you may choose whatever dialogue option you want. It still makes no difference yet.)

>FIRST CHANCE TO AVOID THE ROMANCE<

KAIDAN: I hear ya. It - It just seems like a group that’s been around as long as the Council should see this coming. It’s funny. We finally get out here and the final frontier was already settled. And the residents don’t even seem impressed by the view...or the dangers.

SHEPARD (Renegade - Zip it, Lieutenant.): I’m sure your letters home are very poignant. Just keep this kind of sentimentality out of the CIC.

KAIDAN: Yes, ma’am. Sorry to have wasted your time. I’m right about the mission, though. I know it. (The conversation will end here and his romance will not trigger.)

>SECOND CHANCE TO AVOID THE ROMANCE<

SHEPARD (Paragon - Cute way to look at it./Neutral - An old-fashioned view.): Well, well. You’re a romantic. Did you sign on “for the dream,” Alenko? Secure man’s future in space?

KAIDAN: Heh, yeah, I read a lot of those books when I was a kid. Where the hero goes to space to prove himself worthy of a woman he loves. Or, you know. For justice. Maybe I was a romantic in the beginning. But I thought about it after Brain Camp - ah, sorry, “Biotic Acclimation and Temperance training.” I’m not looking for “the dream.” I just want to do some good. See what’s out here. Sorry if I got too informal. Protocol wasn’t a big focus back in BAaT.

SHEPARD (Renegade - Just be ready.): I trust you won’t have any questions when whatever’s coming hits the fan?

KAIDAN: None. I’m not questioning the mission. I’m just concerned. Sorry to have wasted your time, ma’am. It won’t happen again. (The conversation will end here and his romance will not trigger.)

The final chance to cut off Kaidan’s romance before it triggers happens after Shepard asks him about Brain Camp. This opens up a lot of investigation options and you may exhaust all of them. If you want to avoid hearing Kaidan imply that he thinks your Shepard is attractive, avoid the “Time to talk, then./Time to “get physical,” then.” investigation options. Once Kaidan is done speaking about Brain Camp, you will get one final chance to avoid his romance.

>THIRD CHANCE TO AVOID THE ROMANCE<

KAIDAN: Anyway. This was supposed to be a casual debrief, not a bull session about stuff that happened years ago.

SHEPARD (Renegade - You’re right.): I pretty much gave up waiting for the good part.

KAIDAN: Bad habit, ma’am. I do tend to run off at the mouth. I will work on it for my next review. Sorry to have wasted your time, ma’am. It won’t happen again. (The conversation ends and his romance does not trigger.)

You will notice all of these are renegade options. There is literally no way around this if you want to avoid triggering Kaidan’s romance. You don’t get any renegade points from them, and Kaidan does not treat you negatively in the ensuing post-main mission talks.

Here is an easy way to tell if Kaidan’s romance remains active. Conversations between him and Shepard will end like this:

SHEPARD: We’ll talk later, Kaidan.

KAIDAN: I’d like that.

“I’VE ALREADY TRIGGERED IT, HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS?”

The good news is that getting out of the romance is fairly simple. The game gives you a lot of opportunities before it triggers the love triangle with Liara (assuming her romance has also been triggered, anyway).

If Kaidan’s romance was triggered, you will have an opportunity at the beginning of his second and third post-main mission talks. These are a bit more complex to transcribe, so I really recommend just reading them in my transcription if you need the exact dialogue options to understand.

But the gist: You can’t go wrong with choosing the renegade dialogue options. This is always the dialogue option that will end his romance. You are almost never going to end his romance with a paragon or neutral dialogue option. He will always prompt this conversation by wondering if he’s gotten his signals mixed up, if there’s someone else you’d rather spend time with, if he’s being too casual, etc. Once he does this, just shoot him down with a renegade dialogue option.

Again: you get no renegade points from this. He will not treat you negatively in the ensuing post-main mission talks.

Here is an example. This one occurs in his second post-main mission talk if Liara’s romance hasn’t been triggered:

KAIDAN: I’m just saying...try to leave yourself a way out. I’ve seen what cutting corners can do and I’d hate to have that happen to you, Shepard. Commander.

SHEPARD (Renegade - I don’t need approval.): I’m your commanding officer, Alenko. Are you questioning the way I handle things?

KAIDAN: No, Commander. Just concerned about the reception of the brass if things go sour. I apologize for bringing it up. I know we’re getting the job done.

SHEPARD: (You can choose whatever response you like; they all lead to the romance ending.)

If you have repeatedly not broken off the romance with Kaidan after a certain point and Liara’s romance is also active, it will trigger the love triangle scene. This is one of the last points you have to break off Kaidan’s romance, but it will lock you into Liara’s romance instead. If you are wanting a no-romance run, I recommend choosing one of the other options instead.

There is also a separate way to end the romance outside these three opportunities. In the third post-main mission talk, you must pick the dialogue option that triggers the argument that can “renegade” Kaidan’s opinion on the Council. You must not choose the charm or intimidate option here, and you must then pick the renegade dialogue options. The conversation should go like this:

KAIDAN: So yeah, I hated that turian. But he wasn’t “a turian” to me. He was Vyrnnus.

SHEPARD (Renegade - All turians are the same.): You can’t deny the turians are imperialists. And the asari, the salarians - they’re manipulators.

KAIDAN: Shepard, I outgrew the blame game years ago. If the Alliance is missing its chance, it’s because of men like Udina. Not the rest of the galaxy holding it back.

SHEPARD (Renegade - I’m not so sure.): When anyone out here listens to us, the Council starts up with their treaties and heel-dragging. We can only rely on ourselves.

KAIDAN: We’re not doing the galaxy any favors if we try to force our way into a seat at the grown-up table. They aren’t - malicious. They’re just slow to change. My story doesn’t get any better if Vyrnnus is a good guy.

SHEPARD (Renegade - Whose side are you on?): I don’t need you kissing the Council’s asses, too.

KAIDAN: Look, Shepard. You’re in command, and we’ll all follow your lead. But don’t ream me out for having an opinion. I thought we respected each other more than that.

SHEPARD (Renegade - I can’t respect this.): I can’t believe you’d side with aliens over your own kind. I think we’re done here.

KAIDAN: Yeah, I think we are. It’s--It’s too bad we...It’s just too bad, Commander.

This argument will end his romance. He will also not be renegaded. This is obviously a much more convoluted way to end his romance, but I’m throwing the option out there because it’s 1) hilarious, and 2) way more dramatic, if you want to roleplay ending the romance for whatever reason.

MISCELLANEOUS

Depending on the dialogue options you take for the scenic view on the Citadel, Kaidan will always flirt with you. This does not lock you into, or even trigger, his romance. It is entirely possible to not have him flirt with you at all in this scene, and still initiate the romance later. But if you do not want him to flirt with you, simply do this:

When you get to this part of the scenic view cutscene, choose any dialogue option but the top “What’s not to like?” one.

Also, even if you’ve already avoided or shut down Kaidan’s romance, Liara will still ask if there’s something between the two of you if her romance is active. Tell her that there isn’t (because there isn’t). Her saying this does not re-trigger Kaidan’s romance.

Congratulations, you have now survived ME1’s romance mechanics. Enjoy experiencing unromanced Kaidan for the rest of the game.

ME3 BONUS: “OKAY, WHAT ABOUT HIM FLIRTING WITH ME IN THE HOSPITAL THOUGH?”

I have tested both of these personally multiple times and they have always worked for me, but again: see my warning about different platforms at the beginning of this post. If it doesn’t work for you, please let me know.

If you have not romanced Kaidan previously: don’t buy him the alcohol as a present. That’s it.

If you have romanced Kaidan previously: on Mars, tell him your relationship is over. It is a renegade dialogue option, but it is necessary to avoid the flirtation in the hospital. This route also means that you can buy him the alcohol and he will still not flirt with you.

Please note that going renegade on Mars does not lock you out of his romance. It merely prevents him from assuming you’re interested during your hospital visit.

ME3 BONUS: “OKAY, WHAT ABOUT HIS APOLLO’S PROPOSITION THOUGH?”

This only happens if you have not locked in your romance with your preferred love interest first. For Garrus, this is the bottle shooting date. For Tali and Traynor, it’s inviting her up to your cabin. For Liara and Miranda, it’s her Presidium date. So on and so forth.

This means there is no way around it if you romanced Jacob or Thane and do not want to pursue a different romance after them. If you do get this scene: again, just turn him down. It is never brought up again. He does not act like he’s in love with you going forth. You will get his unromanced date in the Citadel DLC, as well as his unromanced London goodbye.

ASHLEY

“I WANT TO AVOID TRIGGERING IT ENTIRELY, WHAT DO I DO?”

Ashley’s romance can be triggered after the first main mission has been completed. For many players, I imagine this is Therum, but it really doesn’t matter which mission it is.

Ashley will prompt the conversation, as she will for every other post-main mission conversation so long as her romance remains active. This conversation will be about her concerns about the aliens aboard the Normandy.

Note: Ashley has one less opportunity to avoid triggering her romance in the first post-main mission talk compared to Kaidan. You may also read the conversation in her transcript if you find it easier to follow along, though I have done my best to format this post as cleanly as possible.

ASHLEY: Commander. You have a minute to talk?

SHEPARD: (You can choose whatever dialogue option you want. It makes no difference yet.)

ASHLEY: I know things are different aboard the Normandy, but - I'm concerned about the aliens. Vakarian and Wrex. With all due respect, Commander, should they have full access to the ship?

SHEPARD: (Again, you can choose whatever dialogue option you want. It still makes no difference yet.)

>FIRST CHANCE TO AVOID THE ROMANCE<

ASHLEY: This is the most advanced ship in the Alliance Navy. I don't think we should give them free reign to poke around the vital systems. Engines. Sensors. Weapons.

SHEPARD (Side - You're out of line!): That's enough, Chief. You always second-guess your superiors?

ASHLEY: Sir! No, sir! I'm sorry. I was out of line. I'll get back to my duties, Commander. (The conversation will end and her romance will not trigger.)

If you do not pick the above option, Ashley will elaborate her stance further until you get to the dialogue wheel with the second (and final) chance to avoid her romance.

>SECOND CHANCE TO AVOID THE ROMANCE<

ASHLEY: My family's defended the Alliance since it was founded. My father, my grandfather, my great-grandmother - they all picked up a rifle and swore the Oath of Service. I guess we just tend to think of Earth's interests as our own.

SHEPARD (Renegade - Just shut up.): I expect you to keep your family politics to yourself, Chief. The mission will be difficult enough without you picking fights with aliens.

ASHLEY: Aye, aye, Commander. (The conversation will end and her romance will not trigger.)

Note: You can still pick the investigation dialogue options that discusses her service and family history. You just have to pick the renegade dialogue option outlined above afterward, instead of any other option.

Like with Kaidan, you do not get any renegade points for picking this option and Ashley does not treat you negatively in the ensuing post-main mission talks.

Here is an easy way to tell if Ashley’s romance remains active. Conversations between her and Shepard will end with the following:

SHEPARD: We'll talk later, Williams.

ASHLEY: Looking forward to it, sir.

“I’VE ALREADY TRIGGERED IT, HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS?”

Admittedly, you have fewer easy opportunities to end Ashley’s romance than you do Kaidan’s, and most of the early game ones require Liara’s romance also being active. You are still offered multiple different opportunities out before the game ends, however.

If Ashley and Liara’s romances are both triggered, you will have an opportunity at the beginning of Ashley’s second and third post-main mission talks to end the romance. The gist is the same as Kaidan’s: You can’t go wrong with choosing the renegade dialogue options. This is always the dialogue option that will end her romance. You are almost never going to end her romance with a paragon or neutral dialogue option. She will always prompt this conversation by bringing up your relationship with Liara. Once she does this, just shoot her down.

Again: you get no renegade points from this. She will not treat you negatively in the ensuing post-main mission talks.

In both the second and third post-main mission talks, the conversation will go something like:

ASHLEY: Surprised to see you here, sir. Thought you’d be chatting up what’s-her-name. T’Soni.

SHEPARD: (Pick the neutral or renegade dialogue option here; they both lead to the same dialogue branch.)

ASHLEY: Scuttlebutt says you’ve got a bit of a thing for her. I could understand why. The crew’s off-limits, with the regs against fraternization. And at least she looks like a woman.

SHEPARD: (Pick the neutral or renegade dialogue option here. They both end the romance.)

One of the easier exceptions to this that doesn't require Liara’s romance being active is in the second post-main mission talk when Ashley gets Sarah’s vid-mail. It will go like this:

SARAH: - Oh, before I go. You said you’re serving with Commander Shepard now? We saw him on the news here. He’s cute! Later, sis.

ASHLEY: Tell me you didn’t hear that.

SHEPARD (Renegade - That’s unprofessional.): I don’t need to tell you it’s inappropriate to gossip about how “cute” your commanding officer is.

ASHLEY: No, sir. You don’t. Sorry about that. It won’t happen again. (Conversation and romance ends.)

Please note, however, that this will lock you out of the remainder of the conversation and you will not learn about Ashley’s family.

ASHLEY: How can you say that, given everything we’ve seen out here? They’re already acting like Saren is our problem. Already siccing us on the bear. The Council races will always think of themselves first. It’s - human nature. We can’t afford to trust them. Not if the survival of humanity is on the line.

SHEPARD (Renegade - I’ve heard enough.): Whatever feelings I might have for you, we have to work with the Council. I can’t let you second-guess our superiors.

ASHLEY: Shepard, I’m a soldier. You’re my commander. If you give me an order, I’ll follow it. I don’t expect you to treat me differently from anyone else under your command. And if you have been - quit it. I thought you knew me better than that.

SHEPARD (Renegade - Do I?): Seems like every time we run up against aliens, you whip out the “Earth first” card. I can’t have my authority undermined.

ASHLEY: I never intended to “undermine” you, Shepard. I believe in you. I wish you’d believe in anyone but yourself. With your permission, sir, I’ll return to my duties.

This argument will end her romance. She will also not be paragoned. This is obviously a much more convoluted way to end her romance, but I’m throwing the option out there because it’s 1) hilarious (that final line, oof), and 2) way more dramatic, if you want to roleplay ending the romance for whatever reason.

LIARA

“I WANT TO AVOID TRIGGERING IT ENTIRELY, WHAT DO I DO?”

As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, I have found no easy way around Liara’s romance. If anyone else has, I genuinely mean it when I say I would absolutely be open to you telling me, because I would love to know.

The only way to avoid triggering Liara’s romance that I have found are the following:

Simply not talking to her for most of the game (not ideal)

Completing Therum only after you’ve done at least two main missions (also not ideal since it will require Noveria being completed without her)

Completing Therum only after all the other main missions have been completed (again not ideal, though every player should at least do this once if only for the unique content you get from it)

Okay, so what if you want to complete Therum first but still avoid Liara’s romance? I have found one way to accomplish this, but it requires you to be in a romance with Kaidan (or presumably Ashley, but I have only tested this with Kaidan).

After you recruit Liara, you may check up on her in the med-bay but do not initiate conversation after that. If she prompts you by saying, “I get the feeling you want to ask me something, Commander,” do not pick the yellowed dialogue option:

After you complete another main mission, you can check back in with Liara and speak to her normally. This conversation should be the one you’d normally get after Therum, where you learn about why she likes archaeology and how she finds Shepard fascinating.

After you complete another main mission, you must talk to Kaidan or Ashley first. To clarify: at this point you should be at the post-third main mission mark. For Kaidan, you will be getting the “Vyrnnus and Rahna” talk that you can read in his transcript; for Ashley, you will be getting the “Williams Curse” talk that you can read in her transcript.

After you speak with Kaidan or Ashley, you may speak with Liara as normal. This conversation should be picking up on where you left off last time. Liara will talk about how she’s looked into Shepard’s history and Shepard can press her for why she’s so interested in them. Liara should then say something like the following lines:

LIARA: I admit, your connection to the Protheans had something to do with my initial interest. But it has grown beyond that. My interest in you, however, is strictly professional. I want to make that clear. It is obvious you and Lt. Alenko already have some type of relationship. I would not want to come between you.

Her romance will not trigger for the rest of the game.

Please note: Again, I have only tested this with Kaidan. But it should, in theory, work the exact same for Ashley considering many of hers and Kaidan’s other romance mechanics are identical.

“THAT’S NICE, BUT HOW DO I END HER ROMANCE IF IT’S ALREADY TRIGGERED?”

You will follow the same steps as in Kaidan and Ashley’s portions. When she prompts you with whether or not there’s anything between the two of you, you must turn her down. You can never go wrong with the renegade dialogue options here. Again: you get no renegade points for it, and Liara treats you no differently going forth.

She will also usually bring up Kaidan or Ashley depending on what Shepard you are playing, and mention that it seems like there’s something between the two of you even when you do not have their romance active. If you aren’t romancing the VS, just tell her that she’s got it wrong, because...she does. It does not re-trigger either of their romances.

YES I AM ALMOST DONE TALKING

The game really does give you ample opportunities to avoid or end the romances (which is only fair considering how easy they are to trip), so hopefully I have outlined at least one you are comfortable taking.

There are other ways to end both Kaidan and Ashley’s romance that I did not mention (such as during the locker scene, or if you try to un-paragon/renegade) - the point of no return you mainly have to worry about is en route to Ilos. I imagine most players will have their romances sorted out by then, though, so I’m not sure it’s worth mentioning unless you’re wanting to do it purely for roleplay reasons. (In which case: you may read those in their respective transcripts if you’re curious.)

I cannot say I have tested every single romance cut-off, but I have tested most of the important ones players are most likely to take. I am assuming the romances are cut off based on the fact Shepard and the VS’ farewells will change depending on their romanced status (as I outlined in their respective sections), which I do feel is a safe bet. But if you try one of these and find that it did not end the romance: I’m sorry, and please do let me know (and also what platform you play on).

member: jaehyun (hyunjae) genre: fluff (requested) word count: 3,120 synopsis: jaehyun has always been your rival. so when he bets that he could make you fall for him, you can’t back down and say no. but when you’re too confident, you let your guard done.

backdoor: a term used in league of legends; when you secretly attack the enemy’s nexus while they’re focused elsewhere. this is done by sneaking into the enemy base and taking them by surprise

Lee Jaehyun was the cockiest and most annoying person you had ever met. You would think that growing up as childhood “friends” would make you two close. After all, your parents were best friends with his parents.

But no, you and Jaehyun had been rivals ever since you were both enrolled into a tennis club as young children. You always had the upper hand until he suddenly hit puberty and became a lot more physically fit than you. Once he started beating you in nearly every match, he became your #1 enemy.

He had always been super competitive and made everything into a contest. Who could run to the car faster? Who could receive a higher score on the exam? Who could make the other lose their temper first?

With high school came his sudden increase in popularity. It inflamed his ego to the max, which irked you to no end.

Every Valentine’s Day, he would brag about all the gifts and confessions he received. And every White Day, he would compare the numbers to yours.

He was loved by the girls for being a casanova and admired by the guys for his athleticism and gaming skills.

You, on the other hand, could not comprehend why the entire school was infatuated with him. You had your eyes on someone else. Kim Sunwoo. He had caught your attention since the first day of freshman year. Now, as a senior, you were about to graduate without ever making a move.

You were too shy to approach him. You couldn’t even find a common interest to naturally bring up and talk about. All he ever did was make music and play League of Legends.

So you found Jacob during lunch and practically begged him to teach you how to play the game.

“Please please please?” you whined.

“It’s not that I don’t want to. It’s that I can’t,” Jacob said apologetically. “I have basketball practice every day. Besides, I haven’t played in almost half a year. I’m rusty.”

“I just need you to teach me the basics!”

“I’m sorry, Y/n.”

Sighing, you gave up and slumped in your seat. You poked at the food in front of you with a pout.

“Did I just hear the Y/n ask Jacob to teach her how to play League?” Jaehyun suddenly popped out of nowhere.

“Fuck off,” you rolled your eyes at him as you set your chopsticks down.

“You know, I’m the highest ranked player in our school,” he said smugly. You wanted nothing but to wipe that look off his face.

You ignored him and took a sip of your water. Jacob awkwardly glanced between you and Jaehyun as he tightly held onto his spoon. He could sense another argument coming.

“I can teach you if you want,” Jaehyun offered.

“I don’t want,” you coldly rejected.

“Of course you don’t,” he scoffed. “You’re too afraid to spend time with me because you might realize that you actually like me.”

“Oh please. There are a few things in this world that will never change. The sun rising from the east, the sun setting in the west, and my hatred for you,” you said.

“Well if you hate me that much, then let’s make a bet out of it. The first one to fall for the other’s seducing loses,” he smirked.

Still stuck in the middle, Jacob shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

“You don’t have to accept the challenge if you’re not confident,” Jaehyun shrugged, making you narrow your eyes at him.

A list of pros and cons was being made in your head as you contemplated the crazy suggestion. The logical part of your mind wanted nothing to do with him. You knew that stooping down to his level was childish. You had much better things to do than go along with his bet.

The competitive part of you, however, couldn’t bear to back down. You would have to deal with him flaunting over you and calling you a coward if you didn’t agree to this.

So you disregarded all rationale and crossed your arms with a curt “deal”.

The walk to school the next day was full of complaints as you whined about falling for Jaehyun’s trick and Kevin chided you for it.

“I don’t know why you thought it would be a good idea,” Kevin tsk-ed. “He makes your blood boil within seconds. How are you going to hold back from tearing him apart? Never mind flirt with him.”

“I’m already regretting it,” you groaned.

“Speaking of the devil,” Jacob coughed, nudging you.

You looked up to see Jaehyun waiting by the school gates. He was holding a bouquet of flowers and every girl who passed by whispered to their friend about it. To everyone’s shock, he walked up to you and handed you the flowers.

“So it starts now?” you stared at the roses. “You call this seducing?”

“I call this romantic,” he grinned.

Rolling your eyes, you handed Kevin the bouquet and walked away. He awkwardly chased after you as Jacob offered Jaehyun a pat on the shoulder.

“She doesn’t like roses. She thinks they’re cliché,” he said before leaving.

When the dismissal bell rang, Jaehyun was waiting for you outside of your classroom. Hushed whispers erupted again as your classmates tried to figure out why he was being so affectionate to you. It was no secret that you two never got along.

After gathering your belongings, you grabbed your backpack and left without sparing him another glance. Unfazed, he easily caught up to you and slung his arm around your shoulder.

“What? Are you wavering already?” he teased.

“Not a chance,” you scoffed.

“As a part of the bet, I can teach you how to play League. That’s what you wanted anyway. Think of it as killing two birds with one stone.”

You ignored all the incredulous looks you received with Jaehyun by your side as you left the school grounds. You didn’t realize that you weren’t headed home until you stopped in front of a PC Room. Puzzled, you stared at the building in front of you.

“I promised that I’d teach you. Our first lesson starts today,” he said as he dragged you inside.

Your brain was bombarded with a whole new world. You struggled to keep up as he rambled on about bots and gold. He was showing you a demonstration by playing a round but your inability to multitask made it difficult to understand what was going on on the screen.

“My main is Jace and I usually go jungle,” he explained and you pretended to understand by nodding. At your silence, he eyed your expression and chuckled.

“So is Sunwoo the reason why you’re suddenly interested in League?” he asked, catching you off guard.

“How did you know?” you gaped.

“You thought I wouldn’t notice your little crush on him?” he raised a brow.

You were taken aback to say the least. You didn’t think he paid much attention to you other than when he was bored and wanted to mess around.

“Anyway, he usually goes mid as Zed,” he shrugged. “To be honest, the best way for you to bond with him through the game is for him to play ADC and for you to be support.”

“As if I know what all that means,” you frowned.

At that moment, his character died and the screen went gray. You snickered, earning a light flick on your forehead.

“ADC stands for attack damage carry. It’s the champion who usually does the most attacking. They go in the bottom lane with whoever’s playing support. Supports are supposed to aid and heal the ADC. So you would follow and communicate with them.”

“Sounds complicated,” your nose wrinkled in distaste.

“Sounds fun,” he corrected before turning back to the computer.

The next day, Jaehyun surprised you with a small potted plant in front of the gates.

“Since you don’t like roses, I got you a succulent instead,” he said proudly.

Next to you, Kevin giggled and Jacob let out a soft “aww”. Slightly touched yet also slightly embarrassed, you took it from him in a hurry and stormed off.

“You’re slowly getting there,” Jacob laughed as Kevin shot him a thumbs up.

Smiling, Jaehyun watched as they ran to catch up with you. He heard you yell at them after what was probably a teasing remark. You then began to chase Kevin, who ran away shrieking.

After two weeks of spending hours at the PC Room after school, you were starting to get a hang of the game. You found Teemo, who you insisted was a dog (he’s actually a rodent), and gushed over how cute he is.

Jaehyun made fun of your champion choice and shook his head as he explained that Teemo was the most hated character.

“Why? He’s adorable!” you defended. “And I love the little eggs he plants.”

“For the nth time, those are mushrooms! Not eggs,” he exclaimed. “And that’s exactly why everyone hates him. He’s so annoying.”

“You’re annoying,” you shot back.

“Well, Teemo’s not an option right now,” he pointed out.

He was teaching you how to play Howling Abyss that day. And playing ARAM meant your champion would be randomly given.

“Oh! The cute cat is available,” you excitedly clicked.

“That’s Yuumi and that’s actually not a bad choice,” he nodded in approval. “You just have to attach onto me and heal me.”

You hated to admit that you had grown closer with Jaehyun. Only a couple of weeks had passed by since the bet and you didn’t completely despise him anymore.

He gifted you something small each morning, whether it was a plant or piece of bread. He was always waiting for you at the gates. Dating rumors were already circulating the school but you hadn’t forgotten about the bet. You were determined to win it.

Which was why you began to wake up earlier to put on makeup and even complimented him during games. It was easy to make him smile. All you needed to do was throw a lame joke in here and there and he would burst out in laughter.

It was almost suspiciously easy. He was too willing to respond to your advances and never put up a wall.

But that didn’t mean he didn’t get on your nerves. His antics still bothered you to no end.

On the way home, he insisted on feeding you ice cream instead of having you hold it yourself. Except he kept pulling the spoon back when you opened your mouth to eat it.

The first time, you gave him a dirty look. The second time, you punched his arm. The third time, you gave him the finger and walked off after a “fuck you”.

“Is that a threat or a promise?” he laughed.

Once again, you were reminded of how immature he was.

“So has there been any progress?” Kevin asked.

It was gym period and all the students were running around in the field. Jacob was playing volleyball with Jaehyun while you and Kevin were sitting on the sidelines.

“I don’t know,” you shrugged.

“It would be the best enemies-to-lovers trope if you two actually end up dating like this,” he commented.

“Never,” you snorted in disbelief.

You had seen Jaehyun ever since he was a snotty little kid. Even back then, he was a mischievous brat. There was no way you could ever see him as anything but that.

The teacher blew his whistle, signaling the end of gym class. You got up, dusted your pants, and skipped down the steps. Unfortunately, you landed wrong and felt a sharp pain in your ankle as you fell down.

After Kevin shouted your name, Jaehyun turned his head to see you on the ground. Without thinking twice, he ran towards you and asked if you were okay. When you couldn’t reply, he put you on his back with Kevin’s help and sprinted to the nurse’s office.

Your heart was beating fast but you couldn’t pinpoint the exact reason why. Was it because of the pain? Or all the attention you were receiving from your classmates?

By the time you reached the office, your ankle was throbbing and swelling up. The nurse was nowhere to be seen so Jaehyun retrieved an ice pack himself and wrapped a towel around it before applying it.

You were sitting on a cot while he was bent down to tend to your wound. His forehead was wrinkled with worry and you stared at him. This was the first time he had ever treated you with such gentleness.

“I don’t think you broke anything but it’s definitely gonna hurt for at least a week,” he winced in vicarious pain.

You suddenly didn’t know how to act around him. You weren’t used to receiving sympathy from him.

“Uh that’s okay,” you coughed to cover up the awkwardness. You’d rather have him make fun of you for being clumsy. But instead, he seemed genuinely concerned for you.

“You should’ve been more careful,” he scolded.

There was something about the way he looked at you. His eyes were no longer playful but you couldn’t figure out what emotions hid behind those eyes.

Those eyes. His eyes clouded your mind. For some reason, you couldn’t get it out of your head.

You found yourself avoiding him as you struggled to organize your thoughts. Or rather, your feelings.

Wanting to distract yourself, you decided to finally talk to Sunwoo. Surely, spending time with him would help you forget about Jaehyun.

So you mustered up the courage to ask him out on a date. To your surprise, he happily agreed and suggested that you watch a movie together. There was a new romcom film that came out and that he had been wanting to watch.

The date wasn’t as awkward as you thought it would be. Sunwoo’s goofiness offset any nervousness and it was fun to be around him. But yet, it also wasn’t as heart fluttering as you thought it would be.

Perhaps you had idealized him too much in your imagination. Your romantic feelings for him dissipated and you saw him as a good friend. Luckily, he felt the same.

However, word about your date had already spread by the time you got to school on Monday. It had reached Jaehyun’s ears and his expression hardened when he saw you laughing with Sunwoo at lunch.

He knew what the ugly feeling in his stomach was. And he wasn’t happy about it. So he reacted in the only way he knew. By clinging to your side and pestering you.

He spent the whole day messing up your hair and being sarcastic. Eventually, you finally snapped and told him to piss off.

“I’ll consider it if you can beat me in tennis today,” he said.

You crossed your arms, wondering what was going on in his head. You hadn’t been able to defeat him since middle school.

“If you can get a single ball past me, I’ll leave you alone,” he proposed. With a huff, you reluctantly agreed. It would be faster to just get it over with.

That was how you two ended up at a tennis court after school. He never went easy on you but he was going especially hard that day. He gave you no breaks and flung the ball back at you with what felt like all his strength. Ball after ball flew past you as he grabbed another one to start again.

“What the hell, Lee Jaehyun?” you yelled across the court. “Why the fuck are you so aggressive today?”

“Are you giving up?” he taunted while bouncing the ball.

“Oh hell no,” you grumbled as you got in position.

Another half an hour passed by with him beating you again and again. You were drenched in sweat and starting to feel sore. But you refused to give him the pleasure of watching you admit defeat.

So you kept going until the ball accidentally hit your shoulder. The amount of force he put into that backhand made you yelp in pain as you dropped the racket.

Startled, Jaehyun ran over to make sure you were okay.

“You just can’t bear to see me win once, can you?” you glared as you shoved his hand away. “You turn everything into a competition and act like you’re superior over me.”

“I-I didn’t mean to do that,” his brows furrowed in guilt.

“Didn’t mean to do what? Make my childhood a living hell by ruining my favorite sport? Use my crush on Sunwoo to trick me into another stupid bet? Confuse me into thinking that you might actually not hate me?”

“I don’t hate you.”

“Then why are you so clingy?”

“Because I like you!”

His words brought upon silence. The tension in the air was thick as you both stared at each other.

“You’re so dense,” he sighed. “I wanted your attention, okay? But back then, I was a kid and didn’t know how to stay by your side without annoying the hell out of you. And then I didn’t know how to transition out of that.”

He fidgeted with a loose string on his shirt and took a deep breath before continuing.

“This stupid bet was supposed to change our relationship. I was supposed to show you that I’m not as bad as you think I am. That I’m a guy too. That I’ve been in love with you for a whole decade now.”

To say you were surprised would be a massive understatement. All your life, you had been sure that Jaehyun’s purpose in life was to irritate you. So when your heart began to skip around him, you cursed yourself for giving into the hormones that made you see him in a different light. You never thought that the feelings would be reciprocated.

“You don’t feel the same way? At all?” he carefully asked.

Your mouth opened but no words came out. You couldn’t find the right words to answer his question.

“You’re not saying no,” the corners of his lips curved up.

He took a step closer to you and held your cheeks. You felt your heart race at the proximity and froze.

“For confirmation?” his lips ghosted over yours. You barely managed to nod slightly before he closed the gap between you two.

As cheesy as it sounded, you felt sparks fly the moment you had your first kiss. By the time he pulled away, you felt your cheeks heat up.

“So I guess that means I won the bet before it even began,” you joked, making him laugh.

“Yes, yes you did,” he smiled as he hugged you.

Interpersonal conflict at the table: what do you do?

As wonderful as it would be, D&D is no more free of people having beef with one another than any other hobby. There are many reasons there could be conflict out-of-character at the table.

A rules disagreement turned ugly

A player’s character sabotages another PC, and the players get heated

Someone is perpetually late, not paying attention, or not communicating their scheduling needs

A character’s ideology turns out to be shared by their player, and the ensuing in-character argument is taken personally

Two or more players have an unrelated issue in real life, and bring their bad blood to the table with them

As the DM, it may fall to you to referee disputes that happen out of character when it starts to affect the game. While this isn’t necessarily fair, it still happens.

I’ll admit, I’m still learning how to handle a situation like this. My group has had its fair share of conflicts; I’d imagine many groups are the same way.

No conflict is going to be exactly the same, but here are some basic guidelines to help you get through it:

First, try to consider all the angles. Even if you feel like you have clear feelings on who is right or wrong, if you’re trying to step in for the good of the entire group, that means being fair to everyone and acknowledging your biases. If you can’t do that: please, please take a step back. Ask someone who can be more impartial to help, get advice from an uninvolved 3rd party, whatever you need to do. Keep in mind that everyone thinks they’re in the right and has reasons for feeling the way they do, even if you disagree.

Second, consider your role as the DM carefully. If you’re involved in a rules dispute or someone is metagaming to the detriment of others enjoying the game, you must remember that as the DM, you have a power dynamic with your players. They might be worried about you taking out your anger on their character, being biased because of closer relationships with certain players, etc. If you try to calm a conflict, even if you aren’t personally involved, back off the instant your input seems unwelcome.

Third, if possible, talk to everyone involved individually. D&D is social; it’s collaborative; and if you put someone on blast in a public forum, it doesn’t matter how nice you are about it: they will hate that. If something is going wrong mid-session, either power through by glossing over the issue or end the session early. A little awkwardness at this time is better than a public argument, which is what this can turn into.

Fourth, remember it’s okay if someone wants to leave, but don’t be overly hasty to throw them out. Sometimes, especially in conflicts that occur outside the realm of D&D itself, a rift just can’t be healed. Stay out of conflicts between players if they aren’t directly about the game, try to be understanding of all sides, and let it go if someone wants to quit. However, unless someone has done something you can’t accept, don’t succumb to any pressure to force someone out of the group. For instance, if two players have a bad breakup, you aren’t obligated to kick one out to appease the other. If one of your players was saying racist things and got called out, that’s an appropriate time to tell them they’re not welcome. At the same time, with game-related issues, give a player a few chances to change after you talk to them--an egregious metagamer may not have any idea they’re making the game less fun for everyone else until you talk to them.

Fifth, if you must get involved, be gentle, and give people the benefit of the doubt. Players probably aren’t trying to make others have less fun, so don’t attack them for a roleplaying mistake. Instead, let them know 1) the behavior that you take issue with, 2) the effect it has on you and other players, and 3) a suggestion or 2 you have to prevent this in the future. Be specific, but don’t name names. In a situation where one PC’s sexual advances are creating tension, say “Another player mentioned that frank discussions of sex make them uncomfortable, and I don’t feel great when you hit on my NPCs so aggressively. I know you think of this as an in-character trait, so maybe in the future you can just say “Lancelot is going to flirt with the barmaid” and we can be more discreet.”

Firsts With : Denki Kaminari

First Time Meeting

Talking to someone online was so much easier when they didn't have to see your face. You didn't like your looks that much and girls in your homeroom didn't take kindly to those who weren't confident. So much for a hero school. It might have been your closed off vibes, but guys tended to ignore you.

But when you were playing a PC game, there was no such thing as insecure. And that's where you met Denki. He was the funniest, and when the two of you exchanged numbers your texts were an escape from everything.

Denkiiiii!! I wanna talk to my future class mate! You were so excited to tell him the good news.

Woah 👀 what is this?

I'm transferring to UA 💛💛

That was something the poor boy didn't notice. You sent him hearts, you tried to subtly flirt with him, you sent him those massive heart memes, and he still didn't get it. What you didn't know was that he didn't even know you were a girl.

RHTJEODYJEBDJ UMM YES ??? He was so excited to meet you. You seemed so awkward, which was fun. It was so interesting to just watch you second guess a text and give a long explanation just for him to laugh it out and say it's okay.

I'm on my way to get my uniform now. I can't wait to meet you tomorrow 🙏🙏🙏

Wait wdym hop online for a bit 🥺🥺 He was so cute. Neither of you exchanged pictures of yourselves, but he said that he had electric powers. No matter what he looked like, he was going to be adorable to you.

Okok hold up

The next day he kept spamming you to send him a picture. We agreed we wouldn't do that

But we're meeting each other today 😭😭

As you walked into the school you sent a picture of your outfit with your face not in the frame. He was confused as to why you were wearing a girl's uniform, but then dismissed it and assumed you just preferred girl's clothing.

When you got into the classroom Aizawa told you to stay in the front of the class. Everyone filed in to their seats. "Everyone, this is y/n. She's our new student. Go take a seat where the empty desk is."

Kaminari was amazed. Y/n. You. You were y/n. You were a girl. You awkwardly sped walked to your seat behind him and sat, looking around. He whipped his head around. "You're y/n?!"

You looked at him, confused. You saw that he had a black zig zag in his hair. "Lightning bolt." You stated. You then perked up and grinned. "Denki!"

"Hang on, I—"

"Focus." Aizawa stated.

Denki quickly turned back, blushing madly at the fact that he managed to have a really awesome friendship with a cute girl.

Your face was heated. He was so handsome, and his smile! You couldn't believe you had such an amazing friendship with someone who's kindness reflects his looks.

First Real Conversation

After class he told you to stay put before bolting to his friends and saying something inaudible for you to them. They all looked at you, causing you to blush and look away from them. You quickly realized that was rude of you and looked back at them, shyly waving. They all chuckled.

You frowned and looked away, your face feeling so heated at the moment. He came back to you, grinning. "Okay, let's go."

You both started walking to the second classroom of the day together. He didn't know how to really word that the fact that you were a girl was shocking to him.

"I thought you were a guy." He stated.

"What?" You chuckled. He sheepishly smiled at you. "My name?"

"It isn't a Japanese name, so I just thought it was exotic."

"My clothes?"

"I just thought you preferred girl's clothing."

You giggled. "Wow." You then paused, before taking a deep breathe to work up the courage to tease him. "I wonder if we would've still have been friends if you knew. Would you have jumped to flirt with me like you do with other girls on the mic?"

His face flushed. "No! I mean yes! Yes, we would still be friends! I'm sorry if—"

You out your hands on his shoulders. "Denki, I'm totally kidding. Your too awesome to not be friends with." You nervously chuckled out a goofy laugh.

"Oh wow, you have a really cute laugh." Kaminari blurted out, though he didn't regret saying it.

You sheepishly grinned. "A flirt till the end. However you see me, I'm just really glad to be your friend."

"Me too!"

He was so excited. He was totally gonna fall in love with you, he felt it. You were too cool to just think of as a friend. But that was something to worry about later, when his feelings got stronger. Right now was simple crushing.

First Time Meeting His Friends

It's been three days and Kaminari begrudgingly told you that his friends want to meet you. He assured you that all his friends were going to love you, and that Bakugo will be just as unfriendly to you as he is to others, no more and no less.

You were on your way to the common area from your room while everyone waited for you. "Why'd it take three days for you to introduce us?" Sero asked.

Denki smiled and rubbed the back on his neck. "Honestly, I kinda wanted to keep her all to myself."

"Silly Kaminari," Mina slapped his back. "That's for clingy boyfriends, not creepy friends who have a fantasy of being with their female friends."

"I'm not creepy!" He pouted. "Just please remember that she's shy!"

"A girl who's shy and goes to you for comfort when she's nervous around other people." Sero stated. "That sounds like your dream girl." He chuckled out.

Kaminari chuckled. "I know right? I'm taking things slow though, so I don't scare her off. I'll ask her out some time, just not soon."

"That's so manly!" Kirishima grinned, getting excited for his friend.

They then heard you walk in and stop to look at them. They all turned to you, your face immediately becoming red at the sudden attention. Kaminari rushed over to you and led you over to his friends.

"Hi." You squeaked, waving.

"Guys, this is y/l/n y/n. She's awesome!"

"We're gonna be best friends!" Mina said, taking your hands. "I'm planning on stealing you away from Kaminari."

"I'm Sero." He stated. "Kaminari's right, you are cute."

You quietly gasped, not knowing how to react to this whole situation. Denki called you cute. A random guy just said the same right to your face.

"Ignore him!" Kirishima said. "He's kind of a flirt too. Anyways, I'm Kirishima. The guy with the mean face is Bakugo, but unless you threaten him he's harmless."

"Shut up shitty hair! And you!" He pointed accusingly at you. "I'm not soft or anything, so don't expect me to be nicer to you for no reason!"

"Okay." You quietly said, nodding understandingly.

"You're really okay with that?" Sero said.

"He didn't mean anything bad by it." You said quietly. You were extremely nervous, and felt so stupid. You knew you needed to speak up but couldn't for your nerves being shot.

"We're gonna watch a movie." Kaminari said, holding your wrist firmly. "You can sit next to me."

"Okay." You quietly said as he led you to the couch.

He requested for the group to watch a movie so you wouldn't feel too much pressure to talk as much. You both sat together, and just as your blonde friend was about to put his arm around you, Mina squeezed in between.

"Let's sit next to each other! Do you know this movie?!"

Kaminari frowned. "Hey—"

"I wanna sit next to her too." Sero said, coming to your other side. He then handed you a popcorn bowl.

You chuckled. "Thank you. And yeah, I've seen the movie. I like almost all genres, so I watch a lot of movies."

You three of you started talking about movies, and your electric friend pouted as he sat in his lonesome edge of the couch.

First Hug

It's been two weeks of you merging into the friend group. Kaminari felt a little frustrated, and even more frustrated over the fact that he had no right to be. Mina was stealing all of your time, and moving schools made you busy with catching up as well.

He saw you in the dorms walking to your room with books in hand, wondering whether he should greet you or not.

"Hi." He said weakly.

You quickly turned your head and grinning. "Denki, hey."

"You seem busy." He said sadly.

"Um, yeah..." You immediately caught the sadness in his voice, setting your things down on the couch. "What's wrong? You look upset."

He tried to laugh it off. "I just miss you I guess? When you're not busy with your other friends you have work to do. I feel like there's no time for me." You stared at him in surprise, and he backtracked. "That sounds a little selfish of me, sorry. You have the right to do whatever you want."

"No!" You quickly said. "You're right, we need to hang out more. I have missed you a bit too. Whenever I'm doing work and I don't feel like it I keep thinking about you."

"Really?" He grinned.

"Hah, yeah." You glanced at your books. "You're not busy, are you?"

"Nope." He smiled.

"Well, I actually am. But I could do my work in your room while you do whatever if you'd like. I know it's not that—"

"Yeah, let's do it!" He quickly grabbed your books and began walking to his dorm.

You laughed, catching up with him. "You're such a sweet friend Denki."

"Nah, you doing this more me is sweeter." You blushed at how nice he was being, even though he admitted to feeling neglected by you. You guys got there and he set the books on his bed. "Let me know when you're done you when you wanna take a break."

"Okay."

He sat on his chair and put his headset on. You stared at him for a second, feeling a surge of happiness from how content he was by just being in the same room as you. You turned his chair to face you and took off his headset, putting your arms around his neck and sitting on his lap without thinking.

"You're an amazing friend. I'm so lucky." He ignored the pang from the word friend and hugged you back. You felt so easily molded against him. He held you with one hand on your back and the other on your waist.

"Woah!" He chuckled. "You know, I could say the same thing about you."

You shifted in his lap to look at his screen, silently thanking the fact that he couldn't see your steaming face. "What're you gonna play?"

"What's this?"

"I think I'll watch you play for a bit before getting homework done, if that's okay."

"Course it is!" He excitedly began to show you the game as he kept one hand on your waist.

First Hand Holding

An annual carnival arrived, and you were all excited to go. You asked Kaminari to help you pick an outfit, him happily doing so. After he did you told him that it would be really fun to try and match as besties. He agreed without hesitation.

After Kaminari gladly endured the teasing, where even Bakugo made a little jab, you all headed there. Kaminari had this hopes deep down that someone would mistake you two as a couple today.

You and Mina stood in line for drinks while the others heard two guys talking about you two. "Let's go talk to them, they're both pretty hot."

"Which one do you want? The pink one?"

"Nah man, the other one."

They both chuckled. "Ah, man, I was hoping for that one. She looks pretty easy."

"Let's flip for her."

All the guys heard them with disgust. "Peh, pathetic." Bakugo mumbled.

Sero looked at the rest of the guys. "Do you wanna handle it quietly or are we gonna kick their asses?"

"Maybe we should be more quiet so we don't get kicked out." Kirishima suggested.

They all nodded, and Bakugo glared at the two guys at you and Mina walked back. The two felt a little uneasy from the stares, but were still beginning to walk over to the group.

"Hey, what's up—" Kaminari quickly went over to you and cut you off, taking your hand.

"Let's go." He quickly took you over to the photo booth as the rest of the guys took Mina away to another booth.

"What're we doing in here?"

"Ah, these guys were being creepy and I wanted to take you away from that."

You put up your joined hands. "And why are our hands still holding?"

He sheepishly grinned at you. "Your hand's warm."

You grinned and nodded, taking his hand away. You then took out your wallet and paid to take pictures, making sure to buy an extra copy You brought back your hand to his. "Okay, c'mon!"

You both started posing and laughing with your hands together. Once you two finished you both stepped out of the booth got your pictures. That's when the rest of the group found you.

Kaminari awkwardly let his arms drop to his side, which you noticed. As everyone started walking you slipped your hand in his.

"Is this okay?" You muttered.

He gave you a cheeky smile. "Always."

First Sleepover

There was a knock at your dorm door, and you opened it to see a nervous Kaminari. You could tell that his smile wasn't genuine. "Um, hey."

"Come in." You gently tugged on his arm as he went into the room. You quickly closed the door, as it was both past curfew and prohibited for a guy to be in the girl's dorms. "Are you okay?"

He shifted in place, looking away from you. "Do you think I'm stupid?" He quietly asked.

"What? No, of course not!" You stepped closer to him and put your hand on his cheek so he could look at you. "Why would you even ask that?"

"Just some people from another class. They pointed out that I'm probably one of lowest when it comes to test scores in our whole year. I was just thinking about it all day, and they're kind of right. I was just wondering if you knew they were right yet."

"I'd never think that Denki. And they're not right." You brought him into a hug, and he melted into your warmness. He wasn't in the mood to keep up a smile and laugh everything off. And you did your best to help him at being okay with not being okay. "Is there anything you wanna do? Play any games or something?"

"I kind of just want to go to sleep, um, here. If that's okay. I don't wanna be alone tonight."

You nodded and grabbed his hand, leading to the bed. You both silently crawled under the blanket and faced each other. He gave you a weak smile. "I'm sorry."

"For what?" You asked. You absent mindedly traced his jawline, causing him to relax.

"For being emotional today. I don't want you to see me like this."

You thought about what to do, blushing at the thought. "Let's cuddle then. It might be easier for you to talk if we don't see each other."

He gave you a small, genuine smile, scooping you in and snuggling you. "Thanks."

You were close with him as it was, but your realization of your feelings towards him was new. The fact that he went to you in his time of need was unreal for you. But you needed to push aside your own feelings and comfort him right now.

"Y'know, not every hero has to be a genius. What they really need is the spirit to go on and the heart to save people. Both of which you have."

"What if a hero gets scared or insecure sometimes?"

You smiled. "That hero admitting his feelings and coming to terms with them makes him all the better person."

He began rubbing your arm and snuggled deeper into you, a silent thank you that you were willing to take. You then very quickly drifted off to sleep.

When you woke up Kaminari was playing a game on your computer, with bed head and a content look on his face. "Morning." You said groggily.

He immediately turned off your monitor and grinned at you. "Good morning!"

He went over to you and sat on the bed. You lazily smiled. "Feeling better?"

"Yup. You gotta get up now."

You groaned, curling into your blanket. "I don't want to though."

"But you have to so we can talk."

"About what?"

He lightly pinched your cheek. "I can't tell you until you get ready."

You lightly groaned. "Mm, fine."

You got up and picked out an outfit. He got out to let you get dressed, waiting for you to come out as you both went to the bathroom and brushed your teeth.

"Okay," you said as you both walked down the hall. "What did you wanna talk about?"

He looked around, seeing no one else in the hallway. "Will you go on a date with me?"

"What?" You quietly asked.

"I won't sugar coat it. I really like you, and yesterday I realized that now was the time. I keep daydreaming about calling you my girlfriend and treating you really special, as special as you deserve to be treated."

He then nervously laughed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"I guess that might sound a little creepy. But you don't have to give me an answer right now. Just let me know by Friday, so we can do something over the weekend, if you want."

Before you could say anything Mina spotted you two and called out for you both, causing your answer to be cut short.

You did run up to him later and jumped into a big hug, agreeing to that date.

First Date

You heard a knock at your door, immediately opening it. You've been waiting in your room for over an hour, not wanting any chance to be taking too long to get ready.

He sheepishly smiled as he held out an origami rose. You took it and grinned, admiring how well done it was. "It'll last longer than a real rose." He then paused. "But if you want a real rose then we can stop by—"

"I love it. It's really creative and pretty. It's better than a real rose, cause I can keep it for memories, so you don't have to worry about it okay?"

He nodded and watched as walked into your room and put it on your desk. He then stared at your legs, which you caught as you walked back to him.

"Denki." You grumbled, shifting your legs uncomfortably.

He looked back at you. "Oh, no no no! It's not like that I swear! I just noticed that you were wearing the shirt I got you when we all went to that mall! I wasn't– being a pervert I s–swear..."

His voice faded off as you put your hands on his cheeks, getting closer to him. "Don't panic Denki, I believe you."

He melted into a smile, holding your hands on his face. "I think it's super cool that you're more confident like this."

"You make me more confident."

He kissed the tip of your nose. "There's nothing to not be confident about with you." He then pulled back and took your hand. "Let's go."

You were both a blushing mess, and you were also both glad that each other couldn't see the blush. Once you got outside the dorm building Kaminari pulled you in closer, leaving no space in between you.

"You're so bold." You chuckled out. "Very main character worthy."

"I don't know about that." He nudged you. "I think I'm funny enough to be the comedic side character. If it were a horror movie, I'd die in the middle."

"Hm, what about me? I feel like an overcautious side character that's like the second or third to die, y'know? And then her death shows everyone that she's right."

"Nah, you seem pretty final girl to me."

You both talked about what movie characters each other would be before you got there. "An arcade?"

He grinned. "Yeah! I have a lot of rewards points so I didn't have to spend that much." He then realized how bad that sounded, becoming more quiet. "Since this date is on a budget and..."

He faded off, and you looped your arm in his. "And this is the perfect first date place."

You went in and were both completely relaxed, just messing around and being yourselves. It was amazing. Kaminari trying to show off and be the best at certain games was absolutely cute, and when you caught him trying to let you win in air hockey he quickly apologized and you both ended up purposely doing bad to try to make the other win. You both had so much fun.

Afterwards he took you outside and looked around for somewhere to eat. You remembered that he didn't have that much money, so you told him that you wanted to go to his favorite fast-food restaurant, saying you have a craving for it.

You felt really happy at how relieved he looked, wanting him to know that he doesn't have to spend money on you.

You both walked back to the dorms and swung your entwined hands together without thought. When you got to your dorm he gave you a chaste kiss on the cheek, but when you pulled back and smiled warmly he couldn't help himself and smothered you with cheek kisses.

"Thank you, for today." You said when he stopped, your arms around each other and your foreheads together.

"No problem. You can be my girlfriend and we'll call it even."

You hummed. "Deal."

First Kiss

After a three weeks of dating and a few more little dates, you couldn't take it anymore. When everybody went their separate ways at night you went to Kaminari's room as sneakily as possible. Sero did startle you and tease you about it, but that was it.

You quietly opened the door and closed it, him looked up at you from his phone as he laid on his bed. "Hey little mamas, what're you doing here?"

"Denki," you whined. "I can't take it anymore. I'm getting super frustrated."

He bolted up and walked over to you. "What's wrong? Did I do something? I don't really know what I did wrong but I can fix it and we—"

You put your hands on his cheeks. "Cutie Pie, it's nothing like that."

"Oh good, I'm Cutie Pie again." He smiled in relief.

You kissed his cheek. "You're always Cutie Pie." You then looked at him and frowned. "See, this is my problem!"

He grabbed your hips. "Beautiful, you need to explain a bit."

"We haven't kissed yet. I get strong urges to kiss you or make out but I've never kissed anybody before so I don't know how."

"Woah, I get the exact same way!" He grinned.

"Really?" You giggled, bouncing at your excitement. "We should practice!"

"Okay!" He then picked you up effortlessly and plopped you on the bed. You continued giggling as he dove in for a hug for laughs. You looked at each other as you laid down together. "Ready?"

"Ready." You both slowly went in, you too stiff and him to eagerly sloppy. You both pulled back and chuckled. "Sorry. I think I need to loosen up."

"It's okay, I think I was all over the place anyways."

"Maybe we should sit up." He nodded and did so, you sliding into his lap. He looked at you in shock. "Sorry, should I get off?"

"No! It just caught me off guard. C'mon, let's try again." You both kissed again, this time less awkward. You pulled back and smiled at each other, kissing again. "You know what this means?"

"Hm?"

"We can make out all the time now!" You both laughed, and before you could say anything in response he attacked your lips, now full on making out with you. You had to pull back for breath eventually, and your flushed state made him extra happy.

You rubbed noses together, occasionally giving each other a peck. "Hey, can you sleep over? I really wanna hold you for the rest of the night."

"Sure." You ran your hand through his hair as he stared at your lips. You noticed he seemed to be deep in thought. "Am I losing you here?"

He chuckled. "Sorry, I was just wondering how and when to ask you if we could French kiss." You looked at him in surprise, and he realized what he just said. "And I realize that wasn't the right way to say that."

"Either way you word it it's the same question, so don't worry about it." He smiled and nodded. "And yeah, let's try it. I see it a lot on those videos–oh my God."

You cut yourself off as you just admitted to your three week old boyfriend that you watch porn. But instead, he grinned and eagerly asked, "You watch porn?!"

"A little." You quietly said, shrinking in his lap.

"Is that something girls do?!"

You chuckled, becoming noticably more relaxed. "Yes."

He noticed how uncomfortable and embarrassed you looked, and didn't want to push it. It was no matter, cause you two would get to that once deep into the relationship, when he would no doubt tell you that he loved you.

He wasn't sure if he loved you already, but Kaminari figured that when he loved you most he would say it, and then he'd show you how much by making love to you. Then you two could experiment and figure out what you both liked. It'll be fun.

Buy despite that being Kaminari's long term plan for your relationship, he knew he first needed to focus on the now. Right now he wanted you to feel as comfortable as possible with him. It was one of his dreams for you to find complete security in him. It was right next to becoming a hero.

"That's super interesting! You're teaching me a lot of new things today." You perked up and nodded, giggling. "Okay, you ready?"

You nodded, and he tried to just put your tongue in you. You pulled back and giggled some more. "Wait, Denki baby, ease into it."

He slightly blushed at your fits of giggles. "Oh, sorry."

You noticed and immediately melted, snuggling closer to him. "Hey," you nudged your nose with his. "It's really calming to know that you're figuring things out the same as me."

He hummed and grinned. "How about you start the kiss? Then when I feel like it's a good time I'll take over?"

You agreed and gently kissed him, feeling more natural than the other kisses. You both got into the kiss as you pressed on a little. Soon after Kaminari swiped his tongue across your bottom lip, and you opened your mouth to give him control. He gladly did, and you'd be lying if you said you didn't absolutely fall in love with the way it felt to have his tongue massage yours.

When you pulled back for breath Kaminari smiled giddily at your flushed face, wiping the corner of your mouth with his thumb. "Alright, I don't wanna accidentally get too excited, so let's end it here, yeah?"

"Okay." You said as you slid off. "Let's practice some more tomorrow."

"You read my mind babe." You both got under the covers and snuggled together, soon falling asleep after a very good night.

DBD Headcannons #2: What do the survivors think about Élodie Rakoto?

Again no one requested this, but I don’t really see this one often. Anyways I hope you enjoy this. If I miss a survivor please tell me! I may miss a few since there’s so many and I have a terrible memory, so please bare with me.

❤️Dwight Fairfield: Dwight is definitely the person to empathize with Élodie; for a quick minute. He’s mainly suspicious of her, due to his protective instincts, but will later accept her as another acquaintance. Other than that he has no interest in her romantically, nor does he really care for her.

❤️Meg Thomas: When Meg first met Élodie, she was immensely excited! She was immediately interested in what Élodie was into, her hobbies, etcetera. When she did find this all out, however, she slowly cooled down a bit. These two became friends somewhat quickly, but they need to refresh from time to time.

❤️Claudette Morel: These two were automatically hooked with each other. Literally and figuratively. These two were definitely meant to meet since they both have such an interesting bond. One focuses on healing and the other built to distract. These two were easily compatible within matches! Additionally, Claudette felt bad when Élodie had the courage to tell her about her parents. She had immense empathy towards her, and would always ask if she was ok. Course Rakoto would say yes, but Claudette knew she was lying majority of the time.

❤️Jake Park: When they first met, Jake was a bit iffy about Élodie. To elaborate he was bewildered by her capabilities, and not wanting to camouflage herself within walls or something. Other then that he found her to be a decent person who he would talk to when he was bored.

❤️Nea Karlsson: Nea...she doesn’t mind her at all. She does think she is pretty, but doesn’t really talk to her much. Usually she chats with Feng, Yui, and Zarina but not the others much. Like at all.

❤️Ace Visconti: Honestly Ace attempts to flirt with her a lot, but always gets slapped. They don’t like each other much.

❤️William Overbeck (Bill): Bill doesn’t mind Élodie at all. He’s very cautious about himself more then others, but he’ll chat with her about stories and what not. He’s kind of the father figure that she missed.

❤️Feng Min: Feng is kind of jealous of Rakoto actually. She sees her as this person who can seemingly escape anything. About to be hooked? Look at that! A palette! An enemies approaching your gen? Quick, make a distraction! Besides this slight envy towards her, she doesn’t actually mind her much. Like Nea she’ll talk to her time to time, but never have any lengthy conversations. Additionally she’ll try to get Rakoto into difficult situations, but it usually backs fires. This will later become a sort or like-dislike relationship that could effect them both immensely or barely at all. It really depends on Feng’s next move.

❤️David King: Similar to Ace, David is somewhat attracted to Élodie. Instead of flirting with her, he’ll simply talk to her like a normal person would. Sometimes he’ll make some risky jokes, but she won’t understand them most of the times. The times she does, she’ll roll her eyes and walk away to Claudette or anyone she can find. Overall these two have a decent relationship.

❤️Kate Denson: Similar to Claudette, these two were instantly hooked with each other. They would sing and dance to simple tunes, and just have a great time. They were both well suited with each other, and had some fun while doing so.

❤️Adam Francis: Like Tapp, Adam found Élodie to be a sister of his and nothing more. He was very nice to her, and would offer her some lessons here and there.

❤️Jeffrey Johansen: He doesn’t really care for her. At all. She’s just another survivor.

❤️Jane Romero: Like Jeffrey, Jane doesn’t care for Élodie much. I mean she will say, “you look very pretty” or “you are very gorgeous dear”, but she’ll never say anything much after that. However when she is in a chase, she definitely wants Élodie to use her locker perk. She is somewhat envious of that.

❤️Yui Kimara: Honestly Yui is very happy with Élodie being here. She always talks to her time and time, but isn’t as close as Claudette is with her. She’s somewhat distant, (since she talks to Nea and Feng a lot), but she’s very sweet when with Rakoto.

❤️Zarina Kassir: Like Yui, Zarina is happy with Rakoto. They talk sometimes, but not always.

❤️Felix Richter: When they finally saw each other again they forgot who they were, until they introduced themselves. Once Élodie found out that Felix was alive, they started to argue for a bit. The reason for this was due to her past, and how the parries started to depart slowly. She was honestly hurt. Later on she would apologize to him for her actions, and they would make up. Currently these two became as close like Claudette, but do not want a relationship any time soon.

❤️Cheryl Manson: When she first saw ��lodie she was immensely nervous. Heather stared at her with a worried expression, and rubbed her arms slowly. She was scared. Rakoto noticed this and attempt to calm her down, but to no avail. Later on they would attempt to chat with each other, and Cheryl became very happy to be with her. She was very accepting of her after a while.

❤️Nancy Wheeler: Nancy is very documentation of Élodie; she notes her every move. The reason for this is to find out what her strengths are, weaknesses, and how she acts. Additionally she wants to get to know her better, so she interviews Claudette after every session they have. Morel thinks she is insane, but Élodie finds her weird. Very weird.

❤️Steve Harrington: Unlike Nancy, Steve is IMMENSELY SANE and DOESN’T STALK PEOPLE. However he will act very arrogant towards Élodie, and sometimes piss her of by accident.

❤️Ash J. Williams: When Ash saw Élodie he mainly talked to her about shit he’s tired of. He usually mentions his daughter, a bit of his past, and nothing more. They don’t really talk much but when they do he always brings up something from his past. He can also be a bit flirtatious, but that rarely happens.

❤️David Tapp: David sees Élodie as a sister figure that he needs to take care of. They both want to hunt down dangerous fiends, and want to avenge someone or something in order to free their misery.

❤️Quentin Smith: (This one will be a special case since he got released to the consoles a month ago so I’ll have two versions)

PC Quentin: When he saw Élodie he simply waved at her and never more. He never really spoke to her much, since he’s kind of shy, but the times he does is when she’s busy.

Console Quentin: Once he reached this new dream, he saw another person with him. It was Rakoto. She was really pretty and caught his eye quickly. After a couple of rounds with the killers, he decided to talk to her for a bit. They had a small chat and enjoyed each other’s company. It made him really happy actually.

❤️Laurie Strode: Similar to Dwight, Laurie has a very protective nature but not towards herself. She finds Élodie to be a nice addition to the family, even though she becomes overprotective of her.

I THINK I get it? I'm excited to see where u can take us on that particular topic so that's cool! Though that brings up another question, how does romance between Jekyll and Hyde work? Given that there is a possibility they could be two different people, how is that gonna play out? Again nuance and complications are DEFINITELY prevalent in the topic but honestly I just don't wanna inadvertently cheat on ros :(

Of course, that is completely understandable and I’m sorry it took so long to answer.

I’ve admittedly always been “we will get there, when we get there” type of writer, so being asked about how this is going to be handled is really a good thing for me, seeing as it actually means I stop being lazy and start working on the logistics of how this is going to work.

Okay so important things to note going forward, a Romance route isn’t able to be hard locked (they may be flirting, and have feelings for each other but they are not together, together) in for any character until after the “Reveal” which happens about 80% way through (in the current outlines), so for this to happen Hyde needs a high individuality stat and the Doctor a high denial stat eventually late game it will lock and it will lock as they view each other as “distinct and separate people”.

When this happens and they are either only romancing one person from one side (i.e The Doctor is romancing Alice, but Hyde isn’t romancing anyone at all) or they are both romancing someone different (i.e The Doctor is romancing Alice and only Alice, but Hyde is romancing Newcomen and only Newcomen). I went back and forth on whether to just to bar it but as of now the way it will work is that it will depend on an individual basis for the romantic options (listed under the read more).

One more thing semi-related is that, in Façade you will be able to be a cruel/bad person (for one or both) if those are the options you want to pick, but with that being said be prepared for the consequences of those choices, while I’m not trying to punish the player for picking the option itself, it’s just another way to play; a small example is if you are consistently cruel and mean to Lanyon, expect him to start slamming the door in the MCs face and not wanting to help them. With that being said player feedback will be really helpful and important when it comes to things like this (i.e is this action completely crossing the line, does it feel like less of a consequence and more of a punishment).

hi there!! first of all congratulations for your milestone!! i'd like to partecipate with the haikyuu fandom.

i'm 19 and i go by she/her!

i would describe myself as someone overall chill and introverted.

i tend to not rebel against anything, if there's a rule i'll follow it for sure, it's just in my inner nature :(

i also have some trust issues so it may take time for me to open up to someone and telling them some of my secrets.

i'm not really a fan of starting skinship so if someone close hugs me i'll just let them.

i love to stay in, wrapped up in a cozy blanket with just my pc and music and my cat which i love very much and he's the only one i'm capable to say i love you to.

i like simple things and i prefer something more reserved instead of huge events or idk.

my biggest turn off is seeing someone smoking, i just can't stand it but i strongly believe that people are free to do what they want (legally). i also avoid arguments because i don't like discussing. i LOVE thunderstorms, they relax me 100%.

What i search in a person is someone who just doesn't insist on doing any thing, someone who doesn't rush things and i'd really love if he's able to bring me out of my comfort zone and make me discover the world. Also someone who's not clingy at all and that can be able to understand when giving me some personal space, sometimes i just need to turn off social interactions with the world lmao.

I'm okay with every trope, except for angst with a sad ending!! and i'm also okay with a romantic setA

it was a warm autumn evening. lectures had just finished so you and Akaashi had decided to go get some ice cream before heading home. better to get the best ice cream town while the booth was still open, after all.

you were already sitting on the bench when Akaashi walked over with two cones in his hands. it was his treat and of course he got your favourite flavour. it was a little stange though, he had been the one to make the suggestion to come there and insisted on treating you. usually you agreed on splitting because otherwise both of you would want to pay the full sum.

now you curiously peered over at your boyfriend as he took his seat next to you. what was on his mind?

"Keiji, what are you thinking about?" you asked and silently prayed he didn't want to have a serious conversation about your relationship and . . . breaking up. no no, you were certain he wasn't the kind of person to drop a bomb like that from nowhere.

Akaashi turned to you, his green eyes growing concerned.

"did it hurt when you fell—"

"from heaven?" you finished and chuckled lightly from relief. "wow, Keiji, i didn't think you were such a flirt."

"yes, i just had a long day. we were doing group projects and it was kind of draining, so i didn't look where i was going on the stairs. then i didn't feel like getting up. school was over anyway." you paused. "are you mad at me for not saying anything? i though you'd be disappointed if i did."

Akaashi immediately shook his head. he let out a sigh but that was quickly followed by a chuckle. "i'm not. i figured you had a bad day and i'm just happy you're not hurt," he assured and you could tell he meant it with his heart. "please tell me if there is anything i can do to help you cheer up."

A/N: Please be mindful that these are just my personal opinions on the type of high school crush they would be based on their overall personality, how I see them, how the other members see them, etc. Because this was a long one to write, I had split it into two parts (older members + younger members). The older members’ part should be out already. If you don’t like the result, then I’m sorry but I don’t know what to say other than although this is an AU I tried to make it as real as possible with outcomes that I seemed would be more likely in the sense that not all high school crushes are meant to be yours as sad as that may sound. :(

Wong Yukhei

The Athlete

Literally good at any sport he does.

Has lots of muscles (which is mainly the reason why a lot of these girls finds him attractive).

Also very handsome. :(

Highkey knows all these girls have a crush on him and lowkey flirts with them whenever they talk to him.

Very kind-hearted though.

He knows his limits. If he feels a girl is taking his flirting a little too seriously or a girl actually confesses to him, he’d know that’s when he needs to stop.

He’d always reject them on the spot if that ever happened.

He wouldn’t be too harsh though.

Doesn’t have a lot of friends because of him being athletic and popular but because of his great personality.

He’s kind, funny, sweet, and overall just a great guy.

Other than being all those things, he’s also a huge nerd.

Pretty smart & loves playing PC games.

If he’s not out on the field practicing, he can be found at the computer cafe near the school playing PC games with his friends.

You weren’t really fond of him at first because although he didn’t seem like a bad guy, it just didn’t fit your taste that he was easily able to flirt with every girl that steps within five feet from him.

He actually tried talking to you a few times too, but you’d always either ignore him or walk past him.

The first time the two of you ever actually got a good look at each other and the first time you actually started to have a crush on him was when your brother (also Lucas’s teammate and best friend) had invited you to play a few games of LoL (League of Legends) with them at the computer cafe.

Although you didn’t want to at first, you knew that there wasn’t anything better you could do since most of your friends that you usually played with were all away on trips with their families for spring break.

“Oh, you made it!” your brother said as he pulled out the chair next to him that just so happened to also be next to Lucas’s seat.

“Yeah,” you said as you sat down and looked towards Lucas’s seat to see he was too focused on the food he was eating.

“Hey, this is my sister-” your brother started before Lucas interrupted.

“Y/N,” he said as he took the last bite of his pizza before turning to look at you, “I know. I’ve seen her around campus already. Why is she always so grumpy?”

Both him and your brother laughed as you almost punched Lucas’s arm but didn’t because you didn’t want to be too mean. also lucas was a lot cuter close up so you were kinda nervous

“Don’t worry, she’s always like that but she’s also an actual softie,” your brother teased as your face turned red and you actually punched your brother’s arm.

“I think she’s pretty cute when she’s grumpy,” Lucas muttered low enough that you could hear what he said but your brother couldn’t hear.

That’s when you actually felt it. Your heart wanting to jump right out of your chest.

The two of you didn’t really talk much after that, you just exchanged a few words whenever one needed help in the game.

However, the next week when you were all back at school, he started talking to you a lot more.

Although you didn’t really see it at first, everyone else saw it.

He wouldn’t even look at or speak to any of the girls crowding around him. As soon as he saw you, he picked up his long legs and headed straight past the crowd of girls and to you.

It was like he knew when and where you’d be almost every time. Which you didn’t entirely hate but you lowkey hated because the more he talked to you, the more you started to like him.

Most of the things he would say was him teasing you but that was just because despite lowkey flirting with other girls before he didn’t really know how to express his feelings about you properly.

Eventually he had asked you out and that was also when you were sure that you had a big crush on him.

The two of you are still together until this day.

Xiao Dejun

The Boy Next Door

The two of you have been neighbors for years.

Literally.

You two have practically known each other since you were born.

He was always there for you when you needed him.

Treated you like an absolute princess.

He made it his lifetime mission to protect you at all costs.

One time you had accidentally fell straight to the ground after sliding down the slide in your backyard and he instantly booked it to your side.

“Get on my back,” 7-year old Xiaojun said as he squatted down so you could get on his back.

Not gonna lie, he lowkey had some trouble standing up because he didn’t know that his small body could only carry so much weight on his back but he gave it his all and carried you back inside.

Once he had you sat down on one of the dinning table chairs, he ran to your bathroom on that level to grab your first aid kit.

Your mom tried to tell him that she could handle it, but he made it clear to her that he was confident that he got the situation under control.

After that, your mom just let him be while secretly taking a video to keep for memories and also to show to his mom because she thought he was such a little gentleman.

And he was. Actually, he still is a real gentleman.

Except, he wasn’t your gentleman anymore.

It wasn’t until he started dating your cousin once you guys started your second year of high school that you realized just how much he really meant to you.

He would still talk to you, which you liked because you didn’t want to lose him completely.

However, you didn’t get to see him as much since he was always with your cousin.

I mean, you were always free to hang out with them but once you had realized your true feelings for him it was just too difficult for you to put on a brave face in front of them.

I guess the more distant you two ended up becoming, the more not only you started to realize but also he started to realize that you both mean a lot more to each other than you had thought.

During your senior year, Xiaojun and your cousin broke up.

Although they didn’t say it was your fault, you still couldn’t help but feel guilty; especially with how your cousin started acting towards you after the breakup.

A few weeks later, Xiaojun had asked you to meet him at the soccer field after school.

He told you that he liked you, more than a friend, and you just told him you two should take things slow especially since you know that your cousin was still affected by it and although the two of you weren’t on good terms at that moment she was still family so.

After a while, you and Xiaojun actually started dating.

Still together now.

The Handsome Class Clown

It was no secret that Hendery was the most outgoing, obnoxious, exaggerated, loud, etc. boy in your class.

Lowkey didn’t know how you started to have a crush on him.

You still don’t know why.

You two were the complete opposites. Literally.

You were mostly humble and quiet with your occasional semi-loud moments whenever you and your friends would hang out after school or during lunch.

I guess the whole “opposites attract” thing was the case for you and Hendery.

At first of course you did not like him at all.

He made being the class president even harder for you.

Whenever you would ask everyone for their homework, he would always either flirt with you or try to crack one of his jokes which you just didn’t react to.

He made it his mission to make you laugh or at least smile once at him.

It wasn’t that he liked you or anything, he just wanted to see you smile once & also he just really wanted you to be his friend.

The more he talked to and approached you, the more you lowkey started to like him.

I mean, it was also no secret that he was one of the handsomest boys in your class but also despite him being obnoxious most of the time he’s actually pretty sweet.

Helped you carry stuff back to the classroom when your teacher sent you out to get some stuff from the main office.

“Here, I’ll help you,” he said as he had grabbed the stack of papers you were holding before you could decline his offer.

“Aren’t you supposed to be in class?” you asked as you tried to take the stack back but he just moved it away from your reach.

“Yeah, but I told the teacher I was going to the restroom but I just wanted to come help you.”

“Well, thank you then I guess,” you said as you just gave him a small smile.

Homeboy started cheering in the middle of the hallway because he finally got you to smile at him.

You lowkey found his reaction really cute. :((

Deadass drops all the papers and you two end up getting in trouble for mixing all the papers up.

You two become friends and you started to like him more.

Never confessed to him though because you didn’t want to ruin your friendship.

It wouldn’t have made a difference anyways because he moved after high school.

Literally were inseparable since the day you became friends.

Arcade, movie, and late night hangouts almost every week.

Deadass climbs onto the tree in front of your window sometimes to hang out with you in your room when he’s bored at 2am.

“What are you doing here? It’s like 2am,” you say as you move out of the way to let him in before closing it quickly because it was cold.

“I’m bored,” he said as he flopped himself onto your bed, “Let’s make some ramen!”

Highkey is never in his own house to be honest.

Your siblings and both of your mutual friends had thought it was a little weird that he never wanted to leave your side but overtime you and everyone else just got used to it.

You two are literally two peas in a pod, partners in crime, each other’s ride or dies, etc.

Always there for you just as much as you’re always there for him. :(

NEVER stops talking.

Whether it’s during class, on the walk to school, on the walk home from school, whenever, wherever, he would literally never stop talking.

That was mainly because he lowkey didn’t want your attention anywhere else but him. :((
