I would rather a hundred people faking disabilities receive resources, help, and "benefits"
than a hundred thousand disabled people be DENIED medical care and resources and help because they MIGHT be faking it.
How are you going to figure out who is faking it and who is not? Are you their doctor? are you their therapist?
Are you going to watch them every hour of the day? Who are you to decide who is "Disabled enough" to receive help and care?
My disability is not consistent day to day. Some days I don't need my cane and can walk on my own and do things, and other days I can barely get out of bed and can't leave my desk or the couch due to pain and fatigue and need to use a walker to leave the house.
Are you going to use my good days against me?
"Fakers steal resources!" You mean the resources that are WITHHELD from me due to the fear that I MIGHT be faking it? Stealing implies: "Oops no more resources they took them all" when the reality is: "Yeah we have resources but we aren't going to give you them because you walked across the street to get your mail" or "You don't need [insert resource/medical care] you just have anxiety and need to lose weight and should just do yoga and exercise more"
You are so afraid of helping the "Wrong" people that you would rather not help anyone at all.
You've just made it harder for people to receive the help they need. People who don't have the time, money, or energy to jump through the thousand hoops you have put to "Keep out the fakers"

Ever feel so genuinely and passionately angry about how much you hate how the writers ruined a character when the character had genuine potential to be something great

Apparently, my decision to be silly and make fanart of someone's writing (because I genuinely enjoy the story the person is writing and I was struck with inspiration upon reading a particular scene) has benevolent and wildly unforeseen consequences.
I apparently gained a bit of control of the canon because said writer really loved the art and decided what I drew/draw is canon.
2. Writer put said artwork into the document of his story right below the scene, so now it's IN the story where people who read the story will see it (with a link to me)
3. He sent the artwork to all his friends and people he knows because he was so excited
Wholesome interaction and I watched him do all that in real time, good stuff. However...there are two more consequences I was notified of today...nearly a full week after I gave the artwork.
Seeing the artwork caused his friends to become interested in reading and hearing about his story, which means more people are reading what he's writing and giving him critique on the story (which he actively asks for).
Apparently, upon seeing the art, his writer friends got a sudden second wind to pick back up writing they'd abandoned for a few months. Because, I quote, "seeing that someone enjoyed {his} writing enough to take the time to make art of it gave them the motivation that maybe THEY can write something that will inspire someone to also create something." I have accidentally caused a writing frenzy among his writer friends and my silly idea to make art for someone has had a butterfly effect for people who I don't even know.
Uhh...I'm pretty sure there's a moral here but I am tired and have a great deal of emotions about this.

Imagine how hurtful it must have been for Crowley to see Gabriel, the person who literally took an active part in the process of traumatising the man he loves into the mindset that he cannot be happy and free, get a happy ending. To see the man, who was one of the reasons Aziraphale haven't even acknowledged their relationship for such a long time, because they were on "opposite sides". The man who was one of the reasons they couldn't be together, even as friends, for 6000 years. The man who wanted to execute Aziraphale with a smile on his face and "shut your stupid mouth and die already" as his "goodbye". Seeing this man getting what Crowley has always dreamt of: being able to run away with the person he loves, leave Heaven and Hell behind and just be together with his beloved - in Soho or on Alpha Centauri, literally wherever, because "Heaven is wherever Beelzebub is". Crowley seeing Gabriel get it so... so effortlessly, while he has worked for it so long, nearly died because of it and still haven't been able to get that, to get the happy ending and sever all the connections with Heaven and Hell. It must have hurt like hell (most literally).

Tears of the hero 💔
That **** cut scene!! Look, BoTW had already broke me...HARD. But Tears of the Kingdom ripped my heart out and crushed their cigarette on it after taking a puff.
At that exact moment, Link becomes a sleep-deprived mad man on a quest for revenge, fueled by his rage and despair.
Needless to say I went John Wick on Ganondorf's @$$ . Gloom hands? I eat them for breakfast.
