Treasures

Her life was in trash bags,

moving from easy streets to hard places because of life’s tough lessons, trials, and tribulations. Those trash bags were her journey. Those trash bags were her memories. For in those trash bags were her heartbreaks, her dreams, her successes, her breakups, her wins, her loses.

Those trash bags weren’t trash at all..they were treasures for her keep sake.

She owned them.

She had rights to them.

Those trash bags were a heavy load, but her accountability.

That’s right! She owned her shit.

All of it.

And everyday she picked her valuables up with dignity

and she kept it pushing.
