Do you have any fun Piper headcanons?

BOY DO I

She wears velcro shoes. they're the gaudiest, tackiest looking ones she could find that fit her from the kid's section. I personally usually like to give her Hello Kitty ones. She wears them cause they're fun and colorful and also ADHD causes problems with fine motor control which can make it hard to tie shoelaces, and the bright colors are great for sensory stuff, so colorful kid's velcro sneakers it is. This is so important to me.

Hair ties! I like to give her two braids down the side of her face tied off with big chunky bright hair ties. My hc with that is that she braids her hair as a stim, and those are just the easiest chunks of hair to braid and unbraid idly (source: that was one of my stims back when i had long hair), plus probably chews on them as another stim (she needs a chew necklace real bad she'll get one eventually). The hair ties being bright colors is once again sensory stimulation from bright colored clothing/accessories go brrr, they bonus as an extra fidget, and also she adores tacky/gaudy stuff and anti-fashion so they go right in with her aesthetic (or lack-there-of).

Okay so yknow how everybody started drawing Piper with beaded earrings. I disagree with the style of earrings everybody gives her - most people go with giving her BIG dangly beaded earrings. I don't think she's a big earrings person, or particularly a dangly earrings person, or at least not a "stylish" big earrings person. I DO however think she'd 100% adore beaded fandom earrings, like these hello kitty ones, or these Kiki's Delivery Service ones.

In general i think she owns so much youtuber merch. It is a solid staple of her wardrobe. The sillier and stupider, the better. She DEFINITELY has the GMM "Everybody knows i love lesbians" merch. She is the target demographic of that ridiculous redbubble merch stuff that's like, a throw blanket that's a collage of insert-youtuber-here's face. Also just general fandom merch. Again, the more ridiculous the better. She hates fashion you KNOW she's mix-and-matching cosplay pieces at least half out of spite just for fun.

She also 100% buys jackbox Tee-KO tshirts and has a whole collection of them.

Because I like giving Piper at least some sense of "I know people who exist outside of the main cast of protagonists" (that is severely lacking in HoO) i like to hc that Shel is an old childhood friend of hers that was like neighbors with her grandpa or something similar, so whenever Piper would visit they would hang out. When Piper moves to Oklahoma they start hanging out again and start dating.

She has very eclectic music tastes. When she was younger it was mostly she hated everything "popular" out of principle but as she got older it's just anything, though a general lean for stuff a la 2000s top hits, cause she is not immune to nostalgia. or late 2000s emo.

Contrary to popular fanon I don't hc that Piper and Leo were "true" friends pre-Hera memory shake-up. I imagine they had one of those school alliances you sometimes make where you see each other every day and you prefer working with them during class versus whoever else but you know like all of 4 things about them including their name and you've never hung out outside of class before. Immediately after their TLH quest they shift to more of a "we are in a new environment (hell of a situation with ADHD/autism) full of strangers (hell. hell on earth) but we know who each other are and are already familiar with one another so. CAMARADERIE." and by the end of the Argo II quest it's a "okay we're ACTUALLY proper friends now." They're not each other's best friends (Piper's is Annabeth and Leo's is Hazel) but they have a VERY strong unique bond of "we've been through this with each other from the beginning, since before all this demigod stuff."

Piper is very "queer label fuckery" to me. She'd LOVE defying boxes and just messing around with all of that. She's digging deep to find niche labels and using atypical combos and it's a really great identity sandbox for her. Also messing around with gendered language in a similar manner.

I don't care what canon says she and Drew eventually warm up to each other and become good siblings to me. Piper unlearns her internalized misogyny and Drew unlearns some of her toxic femininity and they learn to appreciate each other's perspectives - Drew eventually comes to find Piper's perspectives on fashion and the entertainment industry fascinating and Piper respects how outspoken and self-advocating Drew is. They get really into DIY fashion projects together - Piper's goal is to get Drew hooked on alt fashion and it's working.

phew! beomgyu is buying u guys matching anything. matching keychains, matching necklaces, matching shitty redbubble t-shirts, and maybe someday even matching rings. necklaces and whatever other accessories match his own he especially likes. he likes the reminder when he sees them that u have one exactly like his. and while the glimpses make him miss u when ur not together, he touches it for comfort just like ur right there anyway.

taehyun would buy u coffees or whatever other beverage u really love whenever he sees u! he’s a little awkward about giving u gifts despite really wanting to, but he knows about how thoughtful it is when someone remembers a detail otherwise so insignificant like a coffee shop order, and he wants that for u— for u to feel special and remembered. which is why he decides that wordlessly he’ll bring u ur favourite every single time u guys see each other. his own way of buying u little gifts just like the others.

hueningkai would be buying u plushies … what a surprise! however, it’d be of things u like or one that matches his own for u to have bc he’s seen u eye it a few times or one that he hands with flushed ears and cheeks only for u to realise he’s sprayed it with his perfume for u. plushies r a comfort thing for him, soothing and soft; he hopes they can provide even a little bit of the same comfort for u especially when he’s not around </3

”Governor Arihnda Pryce smacked the air where the droid had been moments before. “—I said the lights should be WHITE on the tree, not this multicolored candy jar!”

“Governor,” the LEP unit protested, “the gubernatorial residence storeroom has none, and the shops were empty this close to Life Day. However, I think they’re quite lovely.

”Letting out an inarticulate screech, Arihnda pointed to the door by way of dismissal, and started yanking the lights off the faux tree herself. Was she the only one with a sense of class? With taste? The holiday reception was in just a few hours, and her staff had disappeared, the caterer was late, her droids were incompetent, and the lobby of her home looked like it had been decorated by saboteurs from Lysatra.

“Governor.”

Swallowing the rage at her predicament first, and embarrassment at being discovered tangled up in lights second, Arihnda turned to see Grand Admiral Thrawn in her doorway.

He was early.

Way too early.

Too early to see her glorious entrance in that fabulous red dress she was wearing tonight.

Too early to hide the fact that she was sweating from tackling a menial task far beneath her position.

Too early to be anything but impolite, actually. What sort of guest comes three hours before the event?

It all was too much. Throwing her hands up in exasperation, she scowled at the handsome man whose expression wasn’t stoic enough to cover an amused quirk of his mouth.

“Aren’t you military types supposed to be punctual?” Arihnda growled. “As you can see, Thrawn, I’m in the middle of something.

”Red eyes scanned lazily, taking in the loops of blinking lights that circled her form like a tired rainbow.

“Yes.” Thrawn raised an eyebrow. “Perhaps I can assist?”

“No,” she snapped. “Unless you brought white lights for this horrendous Life Day Tree?” Arihnda stood her ground, wiping with one wrist at her forehead as Thrawn took a step closer. “That’s the only assistance I need right now.”

“I quite like this decoration,” he smiled.

It should have been infuriating, but it was abruptly clear that Thrawn was referring to her, with those strings of mismatched colors ornamenting her. Maybe she didn’t need the red dress after all…

“Well then…”

Arihnda dragged more strands from the almost-naked tree and tossed them around Thrawn’s shoulders.

Her heart skipped a beat as he stood opposite, considering. Had she read him wrong? Gone too far?

But no. Reaching to the side, Thrawn took the final string of lights that hung from the branches and looped it around her hips, using the wire to pull her against him.

“Well then,” he repeated, his palms flattening against her waist.

Arihnda had two thoughts at that instant: the first—thank the stars he was early. The second—he wouldn’t look as good tied up in white lights.

Redbubble Shop Update - 2024

Hey ho, everyone!

So, a long time ago, in 2021, I set up a little Redbubble shop, but didn't really go far with it. I just let it sit there while trying to put my life back into place.

And after all those years, someone actually bought a sticker and that made me so happy :3

Since I'm taking some time off for myself and, again, to get life back on track, I figured why not revamp my little shop. Who knows, maybe this time I can work more on my art and put some nice things in there ^^

Because of that, I'll be taking down some artworks and replacing for others and such.

I'll be travelling from next week until next month, so I'll probably start the whole revamp process in February - that being said the arts available now will be there until February.

I'll be taking down my two DMC artworks:

And my RPD Leon artwork (I'll put Carlos' alongside this one 'cause I don't want HUGE Leon breaking the text, forgive my little organization thing hahahaha):

The reason why I'll be taking them down, it's because since then my art changed a LOT, I changed my signature and all that, so I want to replace them with more recent art.

This post is just to tell you guys that, if you want to buy some stickers of said old artworks, they'll be available there until February! I think there's a Holiday sale, so it's a good time to do so :)

(I have only stickers listed, if I'm not wrong, but if you'd like something else with the artwork, feel free to message me and I'll list it there - though I think that'll be highly unlikely ^^)

Buggy's Early Childhood Trauma Revealed (headcanon notes)

- When Buggy was very small he was sold/given to a circus. Being there is the first part of his life that he recalls, and he thinks of it as his tragic origin story.

- Because of his nose, he was a natural shoo-in for the clown act where, at ages 4-6, he would be pushed around in a baby carriage by a male clown in drag. As "Baby Buggy", he hit other clowns with an oversized mallet when they peeked into the carriage to coochie-coo him. The name Buggy stuck.

- As he got a bit older, he was redubbed "Bratty Buggy" and put in an adorable little clown suit and hat covered in multi-colored satin ruffles. He would parade around the ring while the other clowns performed stunt gags, but he was the crowd's favorite. He would suddenly appear from under a box prop, sneak around, and smash the other clowns on the head, feet, and butt with his mallet. At the end of his bit he did pinwheels and somersaults for the crowd and then bent over, stuck out his tongue, and farted. He had them rolling in the aisles.

- He remembers being ganged up on and tortured by the older kids and some of the younger roustabouts who worked at the circus. They would hold him down or sit on him while they all took turns honking his nose and laughing. They called him Big Nose, Clown Boy, Buggy the Bitch, etc.

- While this was objectively cruel and terrible bullying, Buggy forgets his own behavior at the time. Being who he was, he naturally drew attention. People always expected him to do something funny or at least make them smile. But Bratty Buggy lived up to his name. He had an imperious attitude and a bad temper, and often yelled, "I'M THE STAR! I'M THE STAR! YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE DOING TRICKS FOR ME!" Even though he was small and irresistibly cute and pinchable, he acted like he was a 6 ft tough guy always ready for a fight (I picture him as being a lot like Muffin from Bluey). This only made him even more of a target.

- His former bullies remember him fondly as being entertaining and hilarious, while Buggy only remembers putting each of their names on his Black List. He was around eight when he told his clowning mentor that he wanted to learn how to throw knives. This request was denied as not being appropriate for his age or his act.

- When Buggy was 9, some of Gold Roger's crew came to the circus, mostly for Shanks' benefit. Roger, Rayleigh, and Shanks caught the show under the big top, including the clowns, and then went to check out the midway. Shanks went exploring on his own while his dads played the games. He heard fighting behind one of the tents and found Buggy looking battered but still threatening a group of much larger opponents with his fists. Shanks tried to help Buggy out by joining his side, but Buggy assumed he was just being made fun of again and told Shanks to go get lost, which he absolutely refused to do.

- This resulted in Buggy eventually starting a fight with Shanks himself as the others cheered them on. Roger and Rayleigh heard the boys shouting and came to break up the fight. They had to tear Buggy and Shanks apart. Not knowing who he was talking to, Buggy proceeded to insult the older pirates and challenge them to fight as well. Roger laughed and praised Buggy for being such a fearless and tough little fellow, which immediately won Buggy's heart. It would take him a bit longer to warm up to Shanks, though.

- Once Buggy learned that piracy included training in knife throwing plus treasure and adventure, he ran away from the circus to join Roger's crew and never looked back, vowing never to clown again. That last part didn't stick.

Your Current Fandom(s): Shameless is my current active fandom, but like, you never really leave a fandom, you just get distracted by a new shiny thing. There’s still Merlin (2008) and Shadowhunters (2015) fic open on my phone right this minute. And I go back and read some of my favourite fic from much older fandoms on a semi regular basis. I have hundreds of them saved in word. Because if you love something… don’t let it go! Save the ever-loving shit out of it and keep it on your current laptop as well as on multiple external hard drives for back up!!

How did you first get into fandom? I was looking for someone to talk to, and that wasn’t going to happen in real life. So instead I found myself on a German Buffy Forum, which led me to discover fandom, online friends, and fanfic… all of which changed my life forever.

How long have you been engaging with fandom spaces? Probably since 1998? It was during Buffy Season 1, but when it aired on German TV, so 98/99 sounds about right. I DEFINITELY lied to the ‘are you over 18?’ ticky boxes!!

How often do you read fanfics? Daily. I used to be that kid that would walk to and from school with her nose in a book. Now I’m that adult that walks to and from school reading fanfic on her phone.

Top 3 characters from your current fandom(s): Mickey Milkovich. Ian Gallagher. Lip Gallagher.

Have you ever written a fic for a fandom? if so, shout it out! I have. I’m not primarily a writer, but about once a year I get the urge. Here’s my AO3. Also, if you search very hard you may be able to find some German Buffy/Spike fic out there somewhere, from when I was a child, proof read by my mother, whose main comment was ‘Oh my. You could have a career in erotica…’ (They barely kissed! Sheesh!)

Have you ever drawn fanart for a fandom? Yep. Back in the day I did the full range: Drawings, Icons. Wallpapers. Manips. Fic Banners. Fic Awards. Now I mostly stick with traditional art, and then once a year pumpkins haha Some of my recent stuff is on AO3. You can also find a lot of my art on my RedBubble Page or my Instagram.

Share a personal headcanon that you feel very strongly about: For Shameless? The Gallaghers visited Ian and Mickey in prison. Yes, they are busy, but they love their brother, and by extension they love the person their brother loves! And there is loads of them!! If they visited on rotation, it would only really “cost” them one day a month each. Not a hardship, is it? Also, Lip went more often than everyone else. Send tweet.

You’re trying to convince a friend to get into your current fandom(s) with you. what episode, clip, or scene are you showing them? Depends a little bit on the friend and on what aspect of a show I feel they’d vibe with best. 01x03 Aunt Ginger is a pretty good one. It’s got the full family working together to solve a problem. And it introduces Mandy and the itty bitty murder floof, which is a great bonus!!

And finally, what does fandom mean to you? Absolutely everything. You know Penny Lane’s speech in Almost Famous? “If you never take it seriosuly, you never get hurt, you never get hurt, you always have fun, and if you ever get lonely, just go to the record store and visit your friends.”? I followed bands around for about half a decade, and that, and Oasis’ “Please don’t put your life in the hands, of a rock and roll band, who'll throw it all away” were things I tried to live by. But fandom doesn’t work that way. Fandom is all about emotionally investing. Caring too much is basically a requirement. And what makes it safe is the fact that we are all in this together. <3

“Okay, so maybe Caleb had the right idea… with the mirror. Don’t tell him I said that, though.”

“Oh, no, I won’t.”

Beau pushes the hair out of her face to better study the woman lying next to her, noting that Yasha’s cheeks are still uncharacteristically flushed. Her white hair is tousled and spread out on the pillow, and - at least to Beau - she’s never looked more beautiful.

“You, uh, you look good,” Beau says, clearing her throat - suddenly very aware of what they just did. “You were good. I mean -”

“You, too.”

“Uh, thanks.” There’s a moment of silence before - “Hey, Yasha? I just wanna… reinforce what we said before. If that wasn’t… what you’re looking for… we can, I mean, we don’t have to keep doing this? I would be… very lucky to consider you a friend. Or more. But especially a friend. I just want you to -”

“Beau.” Yasha puts a firm hand on Beau’s shoulder, gripping it slightly. “I want this. You. I think I have… for awhile.”

The words tumbling from Beau’s mouth pause as Yasha’s sink in, and she nods. “Okay. Okay, me too.”

Another wave of silence, but this one isn’t quite so thick. Yasha’s hand moves from Beau’s shoulder to her hair, feeling it gently. She leans into her touch.

“So…” Beau says finally, swallowing hard. “About Kamordah?”

Yasha looks at her expectantly. “What about it?”

“Is that really where you, uh, fell in love with me?”

“Oh, I did say that, didn’t I?” Yasha thinks it over for a moment before nodding. “Yeah. It is. I… I didn’t know that I would tell you that tonight, but it’s the truth. I didn’t lie.”

“I was just… so messed up…” Beau shakes her head, trying to find the right words. “I guess I’m just wondering… why? Why there? Why not all the times I kicked the bad guy’s ass or… did something really fucking dope like charged a dude and then ended up unconscious?”

“Because you are strong.” Yasha shrugged. “And I know that. But sometimes, when a person is at their lowest, it just… reminds you that no matter how tough a person is… everyone has a breaking point. I’ve had my fair share, as you know. And I don’t know, it’s very… intimate to see someone like that. Reminds you that it’s okay to have really shitty moments. And still be okay.”

“Oh.” Beau wishes she had something more eloquent to say. “Well, thank you. For being there.”

“How could I not be?” Yasha says with a small shrug. “I just want you to know that… you’re wanted. By me, at least. And the others, too, I’d assume, I mean - I can’t speak for them personally, but -”

Beau actually laughs a little, so relieved at the whole situation. Yasha wants her. Yasha’s here. “Thank you. For being here.”

“I’ve been a lot of places,” Yasha sighs. “And here is one of my favorites.”

They lie together for a long while, Beau leaning into Yasha, Yasha’s hand in Beau’s hair, until Beau cranes her neck to look over at the other woman with a grin.

“Jester is gonna grill us tomorrow, isn’t she?”

“You know,” Yasha says with a slight nod. “I’m surprised she’s not already in here at the foot of the bed, to be honest.”

“Are we sure that she isn’t?”

At that, Yasha untangles herself from Beau and pushes up into a sitting position. She crawls forward to look over the edge of the bed, looking over the side. When she finds no blue Tiefling crouched at the end, she gets up to take a further look around the room.

Beau chews on her lower lip, taking a moment to admire the view.

“I don’t see her,” Yasha turns in a circle. “Should I keep checking?”

“Yeah, yeah.” Beau points to the corner. “Over there. Uh-huh. Maybe check under things? You know, like bend over… a bit?”

Yasha throws a glance over her shoulder - catching on - but humors Beau for another few moments, flexing and turning before returning to bed. “All clear.”

Idk if you’ve been asked this before lol but when is Cove’s birthday?

He was born November 2nd, 1997!

How do you feel about fan made merch? Like if someone wanted to post designs onto redbubble. I've been curious especially since I know there is no official merch.

Generally, we don’t mind people selling their own merch of the game. Though, there are probably theoretical limits, aha. We wouldn’t really be comfortable with people investing lots and lots of money into having big batches of merch done in advanced where they’re now relying on us devs to keep the game popular/well-liked for quite a while in order to make what they spent back. And we wouldn’t want to be in a situation where people to be need us, the developers, to not make our own merch ever because the competition of that could potentially be harmful to them. But I doubt that kind of situation will happen. So, basically, as long as it’s a low key and casual selling endeavor, or Our Life is just one part of a bigger fanworks merch business, there shouldn’t be any issues.

Also, it’s not part of the question but it is relevant so I’ll also mention it, we won’t be able to promote unofficial merch. We won’t be upset if you “at” us to share what you made, we just can’t reblog it or anything. We can only promote our own merch, if we ever make it, and can’t give endorsements to fanmerch since we’re not involved in the making/selling of it.

do you have plans to expand on the content from steps 1-3 as DLC for more material over all? or is that like- way too much work? :s

The DLCs that are still coming are listed HERE. And there will be some Patreon bonus content, which you can read more about in the FAQ. So there are some more things related to Steps 2 and 3 still coming, but it might not have been what you had in mind. I’m sorry for that. We got an ask about a similar topic, that kind of continues the conversation.

Cove is such a precious baby, i wish we have more DLC :( would you consider ever doing something like step 1.5 DLC? Or step 5 onwards? Let me throw money at you for creating this perfect cinnamon roll <3

Unfortunately not. We do love OL: B&A and Cove very much, but we’ve promised other projects too and we’re really excited to start working on them. Maaaybe someday we can come back and do some more small extras for the original Our Life, however even if we do, it likely won’t be the same size as the original set of DLCs. Releasing little Patreon bonus things might also be possible. Hopefully the other games we make will be just as fun!

it's probably already been asked, but are there any plans for any NSFW content regarding Cove in/beyond step three?

Only as special bonus content on our Patreon. Like one of the previous questions, you can read the basics about it in the FAQ.

Hi, i just had a question about the upcoming 18+ DLC if that's okay, is the DLC gonna be for all three of the boys or is it just Cove? And if so, will there be 18+ DLC's for Baxter and Derek too?

It’s only Cove. Right now we don’t have plans for Derek and Baxter 18+ DLCs. We could potentially see how things go after the first piece of bonus content is done. Possibly more 18+ extras could be done.

when the Baxter & Derek's DLCs release, do the players need to play all the game again? like, do you need to do a whole gameplay to get to their routes (setting the relationship w/ Cove to be a simply friendship) or are the dlcs going to be like a side-story (with no relation to the main story w/ Cove)?

The Derek and Baxter stories begin with new Moments being added to Step 2 and Step 3, respectively. If you wanna start Derek’s romance you’ll either need to load a save that has access to the Step 2 Moment screen or start a new file and skip until you’re in Step 2. Baxter is the same, except with the Step 3 Moment Selection screen. You can start their romance while crushing on Cove. It’s possible to be interested in more than one person at a time, you just can only officially start dating one guy.

There's gonna be an Our Life 2? Is it going to be with Cove and everyone else or completely new characters?

It’s gonna be a new cast, new setting, and new story. But all the best features of Our Life: Beginnings & Always (like growing up together, no bad endings, and a super custom MC) will be a part of it.

Hi, love the games, I was just wondering if you could be so kind as to give any kind of hint on what the main love interest in Our Life 2 is going to be like? I'm very hyped for it and can't wait to see what it's going to be like.

I’m glad you’re looking forward to it! We are preparing to start sharing hints about the two main LIs early next year, but I’m afraid we’re not doing it yet. At least on public social media. You can already hear some tidbits about them as a special bonus on our Patreon~

Haha, Cove sucks at dirty texting for a long time in the relationship. He’d just stare at the screen overthinking every possible thing he could type and desperately wondering what the MC is thinking/feeling on the other end. But if they were calling where he could still hear the MC’s voice and he just had to start letting words fall out rather than needing to more decisively type out each word, it would start to go better sooner. It’d still take time and trying more than once, however he could for sure get into it. Though, he’d struggle to keep it really “sexy” and would end up getting cutesy/giddy over the attention he was getting.

Is the game our life a mobile game if not can you make it a mobile game because I don't have a computer or laptop to play it on and I was looking forward for it, can it be a mobile app if so please, Im sorry if I'm asking so much of you if you could do so I will be looking forward to it, thanks you.

You can get it for Android on Itch.io! Sadly, we’re not able to release it for IOS at this time. Maybe someday we’ll have the means to do so.

Hello hello! I was going for a very shy and sweet/passive type of MC but at the Barbeque scene I keep getting the defiant "Yeah, so?" response when sticking with moms. I've tried using different responses prier to that scene but still get the same thing. Are there any variants that I'm just not meeting or is that the only shy response type? Thank you for mentioning it. That’s the “Direct” response. It was a programming line error that caused it to show during the “Nervous” version of the scene. It’ll be fixed whenever the next update comes out!

We’re not able to add poly relationships to already released games, but we do hope to include poly relationships in future projects!

Kind of. It’s based on towns I remember seeing while going to the beach as kid as well as some research as an adult, but there isn’t one or more specific towns I can name as being major inspirations. I don’t remember the names of places from when I was little and used too many different references when looking back into SO-Cal beach towns as an adult.

If Jamie called cove the love of their life while he was around them how exactly would he respond?

It would depend on his age, their relationship, his personality, etc. But I’d say it’s a safe bet that he’d cry, haha. I’m afraid we can’t do headcanon-y/scenario types of asks very well because of all the alteration possiblities involved and because they’re a bit too time consuming. I’m sorry for that.

I’m trying to figure out how to make Cove kiss me in the ending at Step 2, and I don’t know what to do.

Minor spoilers. Cove doesn’t truly take the initiative in Step 2 no matter what, your MC always has to make the first move. But it is possible for the first move you make not to work out and then Cove picks things up and takes the reins from there. That’s probably what people were talking about if you heard it was possible for Cove to kiss the MC in Step 2. There are two methods to make that kind of thing happen.

1. Try to kiss him in the loft in Road Trip. During the “and then summer ended” scenes Cove will bring that situation back up.

2. Don’t try to kiss him in the loft, choose to want to share your feelings in the ending scenes, decide to express your feelings with a kiss, and attempt to kiss him very cautiously/slowly.

Would Shiloh and Liz have gotten together if Shiloh didn't move away? They're both really cute, honestly

“No” is my thought, but people are welcome to headcanon/write fanfics about it if they want to anyways. Liz is three years older, Shiloh was her tiny boy who could never keep up. Odds are she would’ve taken a big sister role in his life that’d be very difficult to shake off, even when the age difference stopped mattering much. And, well, who knows how Shiloh would feel about trying to date someone he’s known for that long. I’m happy you think they’re cute, though.

I like to joke that if Cove was in a yandere game, the problem wouldn’t be that he was a yandere but that other people kept being too willing to die/kill for his sake. Tensions would be high over him, and since Cove tends to get into trouble there’d be deaths left and right without him really getting why, haha.

This may have been answered already, but how will the Derek/Baxter DLC work? Will they add new scenes to already existing moments, or new moments entirely?

We got two asks about how the DLCs work, so we’ll answer them together. And I really appreciate the kind words!

The DLCs will add new Moments to the Step the guy appears in, Step 2 and 3, and they’ll add brand new branches to the Step 4 epilogue. You can still play the normal story in Steps 1-3 while doing the Derek and Baxter DLC stuff, but you will have to choose an alternate version of Step 4 to finish their story once you reach that point. You’re able to be at “crush” with Cove while getting closer to the other boys, you just can’t be in an official relationship with him.

What years do the steps all take place in?

These are when the Steps take place- Step 1: 2006 Step 2: 2011 Step 3: 2016 Step 4: 2021

Will you announce the 18+ content before it gets posts=ed so people have a chance to join the Patreon in time?

Yep! We’ll be sure to let people following us know when the Patreon Moment is gonna be available and we’ll announce when it has officially released.

Will the side characters be making appearances in step 4? (Shiloh, Derek Jeremy, Baxter)

Derek and Baxter will, Shiloh and Jeremy won’t. And there will be other side characters who make an appearance in Step 4 as well.

Will step 4 be with money or will it have moments that are DLC and has moments that aren't DLC? because I enjoyed the fact that I can just play the game or add DLC

The Step 4 epilogue itself is free, and there will be an optional wedding DLC that’s paid.

Excuse my (probably) stupid questions. First question: How tall is Cove in phase 2, since it says you’re around his height with the “Very tall” option. (If you can provide height ranges for each option when answering this, that would be much appreciated... I’m very curious). Second question: Are people allowed to write fanfiction based on their personal play-throughs of the game?

You can check out Cove’s height in the FAQ. I’m afraid the MC doesn’t have a set height range of specific feet and inches. The options available are left vague so the player has room to fill in the blank with the exact height that they want themselves.

And people are welcome to write fanfiction!

I'm sorry to bother you, but will you ever sell stickers of your 80s au Voryn? I've been looking to buy a bunch of tes stickers and since you're one of my all time favourite artists I've been meaning to buy some from you, but there were surprisingly few. While I'm at it, I love your work! Your style has this really nice roundness? I suppose? to it, that gives it all this really unique vibe that I've never seen anything else have. I honestly don't know how to describe it, but the way you draw the characters just feels as if you're getting to the heart of them, if that makes sense. My absolute favourites are probably your Dagoth Ur and Almalexia, they just feel so lively. Your colors are also wonderful, they're all so bright and they look so natural, not in the sense that they look like they're real or something, but in the sense that they look like they belong there, I honestly can't imagine your drawings without them there. If I haven't already asked for too much, I'd love to see your take on some of the other deadric princes at some point, especially the ones that don't show up as much, like Clavicus Vile or Hermaeus Mora

oh man, that's a LOT to chew through!

first off-- i'm certainly open to the idea! if i think of any fun sticker designs for my 80s AU i'll certainly throw some on there. i'd especially like to try my hand at evoking 80s graphic design. i know chrome block-letters are a little oversaturated but it's a cool look!

(for anyone who was unaware of it, here's the tes section of my redbubble store, with shirts, stickers, and a few other things!)

i'm soooo so immensely flattered by that description of my style, though (☆ ω☆) especially since i really do prioritize personality in my character illustrations above all else. i'm always glad to hear that's paying off!

but between you and me, sometimes that's motivated by spite; whenever i disagree with the "fanon" interpretation of a character, i just draw them oozing the personality that i think they should have... but i think the ends justifies the means there...

as for my coloring-- i've always been VERY inspired by mid-century cartoons and kids books! a lot of the kids books i grew up on were from when my mom was a kid (usually those 'little golden books'), and i also watched a lot of hanna barbera and looney tunes.

back in the 50s and 60s, printed illustrations were very limited in what colors they could use, and red was a common accent color because you could make the cutest rosy cheeks with it. as a result, that bright candy-red, which sometimes skewed a little orange because of the old yellowing paper, has been seared in my brain as the accent color. they also typically employed a dry-brush style of shading that accentuated the texture of the paper, which is why i like using such textured brushes even though i only ever do digital art.

the backgrounds for cartoons-- think Hanna Barbera-- were also very geometric, and like you said, they had a certain harmony of color and line that felt natural even if it was so stylized and exaggerated. it's hard to really let loose and allow myself to draw scenery that isn't perfectly proportional, but i'm slowly getting there.

obviously i've still got a long way to go before i can even approach the skill level of the old greats, but i do try to evoke those mid-century aesthetics in my art.

and what a coincidence... i was just thinking earlier that i ought to draw some more daedric princes. even if a lot of them do lean on some pretty well-trodden design tropes, they all have a lot of personality. i've especially been considering pinups of the female-presenting ones, predictable though that may be.

(if any of my followers out there are truly, deeply invested in seeing me draw a particular prince (or any other character), my commissions are open!)

Big Patreon Updates!

Hello, friends.

You may have noticed that all of the Tiers have been rewritten, improved, or otherwise changed.

I have been mulling this over for a long while and finally sat down on Friday (at a very nice local library) to both simplify and improve the offering. After a couple of years of doing this, I think I've got an idea of what people who are so very kind enough to enable me to make more and more sexy smexy content seem to want.

So, I have modified some of the tiers that felt... lackluster and have proved to be a colossal failure on my part, and improved the ones that have done really well. Any changes will NOT be retroactive, and anything I've posted in the past will remain available as it currently stands.

Again, this whole thing, the crowdsourcing of creative labour, is still new and strange to me. So if any of the changes are a big dumpster fire NO for you, please let me know.

But, to summarize, biggest changes:

1. Sketches: I have kept all my self-initiated work public to Patreons before I go and publish them. But I feel that this no longer functions in the current format. Now, the smallest Patreon support will be exclusively for sketches, and updates on my goings-on. Which means I will be posting a lot more content on the process of how I make things.

2. Finished Illustrations: I have made it obvious that I will always make my self-initiated and commissioned work freely available at some point. I make all of these for people to enjoy. But, as of now-ish, if you want to see the finished illustrations months before anyone else, you'll have to join the "Sneaky Peaky" tier. But to make it more attractive, I'll also be throwing in views of other work I am getting on to. For example, a fantasy adventure comic me and an artist friend are working on. And maybe even the script to my Power Rangers comic.

3. Chibi Commissions: I've added a new tier. Chibi commissions! Wooh. Kind of self-explanatory, that one.

4. Flash Fiction: I've been mulling this tier for a good while and have decided to keep it. Over February I got into the habit of writing short pieces of fiction prompted by photographs, roleplays or other material and it was really, really fun. As such, I'd like to offer people the chance to request written content in a more formal way.

Wait, there's more!

But that's not it.

There are a couple of things I am still working on that I want to add to Patreon, as well as to create some synergy with other platforms to give people more options. Personally, I do not trust a single platform and would rather join up with other folk to create our own website with content available to people. You know, as if it were 2007. But that is not something I can do now.

So, as I continue to review what Fascination Uniformed is for me and for you, here are some of the things you can expect this month:

Archive of Art, Stories and Captions: I know, I've been promising this one for a long time. But finally realized I was overthinking it. So, it will be a Dropbox link. It will have organized folders with all the work I've made publicly available, and perhaps some I've even forgotten to upload. This one will be a Patreon Tier at 5 of your local currency.

Videos and Timelapses: I've filmed myself drawing some things of the last year. Sometimes I talk, sometimes I don't. My main issue is that I am hopeless when it comes to video encoding, so the files always end up being HUGE and with crap quality. But maybe it is time to actually make use of these.

Merch: I am investigating whether to offer Pre-Orders for three bundles of prints, badges, and collected comic zines for people. This one I first need to test and see if people want. But, otherwise, I may open a RedBubble shop and see if people wanna get kinky prints for their walls. Dunno, it is an idea.

So... yeah. And, as usual, I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts, comments and ideas about my plans. I sort of sprung this one out of the blue, but I just had to make it happen. Finally.

my beloveds tag - posts with my blorbos, specifically ones that make me go 🥺🥰 so not a lot of angst there.

doll tag- a general tag for doll stuff. i mostly made it because i figured it’s the thing i post about the least of my followers care about so if you want to filter it, that’s totally cool. i do let some doll-based animated media slip through but anything that’s blatantly doll stuff gets tagged

art - i tag a lot of things art like obviously visual art but also cool video edits, those really pretty gif sets with all the colors, and anything else that clearly took a lot of time creativity! but also lots of silly doodles :))

the lovers the dreamers and queue - queue tag. i also use it on scheduled posts when i think of it (yes it is a good pun like everyone else’s cause at the end of the muppet movie they changed the lyrics for the reprise to “we’ve done just what we set out to do, thanks to the lovers the dreamers and you” )

blaze it - blazed posts or posts about blazed posts. yes i could just tag them ‘blaze’ or ‘blazed’ but this is much more fun

sen6 - short for sensational 6 as in mickey, minnie, donald, daisy, goofy, and pluto. although sometimes I cheat and throw in adjacent characters like chip and dale or clarabelle (yes i know if c+d are there it’s exceptional 8 but ex8 or whatever isn’t as cute as sen6)

as for tw/cw tags i try to use them when anything comes up in one of my original posts but i think the filtering works on reblogged posts as long as they’ve been tagged as that somewhere in the chain? so i don’t add them again *but* if you have something particular you’d like me to tag for you, just let me know!
