Part 2 (Floyd, Idia & Vil x Nb!Reader)

Summary: You had a long morning, and you didn't even get enough sleep so now you are very tired, But sitting with them in the courtyard during lunch break, while they talk you find yourself falling asleep, your head on their shoulder.

Ft. Epel, Lilia & Malleus x NB!Reader [Seperate] (+Epel mentioning Vil, ofc., Wingman Lilia in Malleus' part, Lilia mentioning Silver in Malleus' part)

Epel

At some point we all just thought he was a female, blame his appearance. (but he's still our pretty manly boy 😔) So he was pissed at you for a while, until you both got along and that was when he realized "oh. I have a crush."

So you sleeping on him is one of the best things to ever happen to him. He would fanboy so much but he knows he has to stay quiet, don't wanna bother you in your sleep or you would give him silent glares. He hates that. He will try not to cry but end up sobbing. He'll do the basic thing, let you rest on him while he reads the rule book Vil made just for him because He kept on doing his own sporty thing.

"This is so darn annoying!" Epel curses under his breath, flipping through the pages. He looks at you; looking at the pages but you weren't reading it, just staring at it's non-existent soul. He doesn't mind it though, he continues his own thing, reading the book so he doesn't have to get another 1 hour of scolding. "Vil.. Always tryna judge me.." Epel mutters. His attention goes back to you as you set your head down on his shoulder and closing your eyes.

"Hey- [Name]??" He tilts his head to the side, checking if you were alright. "Ah. Yer' asleep.. And yer' using my shoulder as a pillow..." He whispers, his face slowly turning red in realization. "Oh.. Oh." He looks away, clearly panicking. What should he do?! Be manly. Be.. Manly. He moves his hand to your waist, pulling you closer while his other hand flips through the pages of the book that's on his lap. "Rest well, Darlin'." He mumbles.

Lilia

Being honest for the millionth time; you don't even need to surprise him. He's been noticing how you've been falling asleep in the most random times ever. Which is why you are on the grass, sitting under the apple tree, to help him and you to hide from the sun. He just tells you to sleep on his lap, with his blazer folded into a pillow on his lap. (Father and son moments LMAOO)

He would probably cook for you later (Im sorry he literally would. Unless you escape from his cooking but 💀💀) so forget about you eating, you can eat later when it's breaktime. You need sleep, energy. How will you do your schoolworks if you're that exhausted? Meaning with no energy, you can get more stressed by having more piles of assignments. He would definitely try to help you do your assignments later, but matters aside, he knows you're tired.

Listening to Lilia's babbles is interesting, one side of you thinks his stories are interesting, but the other side is telling you you're to tired to listen to more. Lilia has had his eyes on you for a while now. While he talks, He's just been folding his blazer and putting it on his lap. "So that's what happened to him, funny, right?" He asks, Pressing the blazer for it to get comfy. "Mhm.." You tiredly nod. Your head slowly falls on his shoulder. "Ah- Just as I expected." He mumbles.

You slowly raise your head to look at him confusedly. "..What?" You ask. "Khee-hee, you're tired aren't you? come here." Lilia holds your hand, his free hand grabbing your head and pulling your head on his lap. "Go take a nap. You must have a hard time in class, yes?" You stare at him for a moment and shrug, getting into positions and sleeping. Seems comfy enough, he can just wake you up if the bell rings. Maybe he can use this as his opportunity, He softly hums a lullaby, a song he used to hum Silver when he was a baby. Once you were fully asleep, he smiles. "Khee-hee- Dream about me love."

Malleus

To start with this, Malleus doesn't even know what to do :D He's just there like 'What do I do???' but you should thank Lilia for teaching Malleus. Lilia just tells Malleus to let you sleep, if he wants he can even let you sleep on him but in a more comfortable position. Malleus fans and lovers, don't go insane but believe me he would carry you with ease and put you on his lap, hugging you.

Lilia just laughs at how he's brave enough to even do that. Once you wake up he probably expects screaming and panicking. Not like the murderous scream, no. The literal embarrassed, simping scream ever. Malleus is happy you aren't afraid to sleep on him and he will continue to let you sleep on him as much as you want<3

"[Name], What do you think about that?" Malleus asks you, who is currently dozing off. "[Name]?" He calls out, eyes slightly widening in surprise as you fall asleep on his shoulder. Watching you sleep peacefully on him, his eyes sparkles. But he goes back to reality, not knowing how to help you. He knows you're sleeping and it's reasonable but, how does he know if your comfortable? "Maybe you should help them get comfortable by letting them lie down on you or.. Hug them." Lilia says, hanging upside-down at the apple tree. "Lilia? What are you doing here?" Malleus looks up, Lilia hums and walks back down to the floor.

"I'm just looking out for you and the others, I'm gonna go find Silver next, He might be sleeping in the hallway again." He takes steps away, but turns back to Malleus. "Take my advice, you really should do either of those." He chuckles, walking away. It just leaves Malleus, looking at you. "Hug.. them..?" He repeats. He softly shakes his head, grabbing your waist, soft enough to not awake you and putting you on his lap, he wraps his arms around your waist, your head resting on his chest. "..Will you have a good dream if I hug you like this?.." He asks and sighing. "I do hope you do."

Author's end note: I hope I didn't accidentally smack any of yall to sleep Lilia, Malleus and Epel lovers because I smacked myself to sleep because of Malleus. I got smacked asleep by my own story.

• he admires how you don’t fear him, and that you instead seek him out, treating him as you would anyone else

• it’s so peaceful, and the chances of people interrupting you are slim, so he enjoys taking the time to spend with you

• please listen to his rants about gargoyles

• Lilia adores you so much, and was very much a wingman in helping you and Malleus get together

• Silver doesn’t have much of an opinion of your relationship, he trusts Malleus’ judgement

• he would bend over backwards to make anything you wished for to come true

• even if you want something practically impossible, he will somehow make it happen

• would love for you to meet his grandmother, but understands how intimidating it would be for you, so he’s willing to wait until you become more comfortable with the idea of entering a royal family

• loves telling you stories

• and listening to anything you say

• every word that comes out of your mouth he will cherish beyond a doubt

• he will research any of your interests, and actively ask you questions about it so he can hear you talk more about them

• over all, Malleus is the type of boyfriend who will love you deeply and immensely ♡

• would always try to cook you food and give it to you, but thankfully Silver (a literal godsend) will always swoop in and save you from having to eat his father’s cooking

• Lilia loves doing those because he gets to catch you off guard while also getting a kiss

• to him it’s perfect

• also loves to pepper your face with kisses

• and pinch your cheeks

• is totally fine if you do it back to him as well

• on that note, he doesn’t mind PDA at all

• also lowkey enjoys how it embarrasses Silver (and Sebek)

• he will sing to you

• if you can’t sleep, you’ll get to hear one of his infamous lullabies

• he will also play pranks on you a lot

• would love it if you gamed with him

• not at all a jealous person

• he’s been alive long enough to understand that he shouldn’t feel that way — he loves you and you love him, and that’s all that matters

• if someone did try to flirt with you, he would be more amused than anything else (unless ofc you were uncomfortable)

• Silver and Sebek are usually the ones to stop anybody else’s advances on you

• he will tell you stories of things he’s been through

• sometimes they’re so far fetched that you doubt he’s being serious, but he always is

• if someone talked bad about you or messes with you, Diasomnia will band together to take care of them

• Lilia would corner the perpetrator, condemn them for their actions/words, and then let Silver and Sebek take over, under the pretense of letting them train their knightly skills

• he would probably teach you at least basic self defense so he knows you can be safe even if he’s not around

• you’re seen as the other parent in Diasomnia… even though chances are you’re significantly younger than them ( at least Malleus and Lilia)

• he’s amazing at comforting you when you’re upset

• his dad instincts kick in and he’s coddling you in his arms, listening to you and then giving his perspective

• headpats!!

• arguments don’t happen much between you guys because Lilia has a lot of experience and he knows how to avoid such issues

• loves floating by you, and teasing you when you can’t reach something

• Malleus is fond of you because Lilia is the person who has been by his side his whole life, so he’s happy that Lilia has found someone he loves

• Sebek respects you greatly because of how much he respects Lilia — he is nothing less than a gentleman when you’re around

• Silver appreciates you greatly

• at first he was unsure of you (because he only wanted the best for his father), but when he saw the way Lilia looked at you

• he knew just how much you meant to him

• so now Silver will do anything he can to protect you as well

• over all, Lilia would be a very fun and chaotic boyfriend ♡

• such a gentleman

• he’s literally so sweet to you omg

• most of your dates are you guys cuddling, but it’s great because Silver is literally the best cuddled there is

• anytime you sleep by him, it’s the best sleep you’ve ever had

• the fact you don’t judge him for his habit makes him so thankful as well

• the animals that always seem to surround him grow fond of you as well

• he isn’t much of a jealous person because he trusts you immensely

• but that doesn’t mean he likes it when people flirt with you, and so he’ll be by your side in a heartbeat

• sometimes he does get worried though that you might leave him for someone who can always give you their full attention ):

• will teach you how to use a sword if you wanted to

• especially because it helps him feel more comfortable knowing you could defend yourself

• not that he thought you couldn’t before, it just helps reassure him, that’s all

• horseback riding dates!!

• if you’ve never ridden a horse before, that’s okay, he’ll guide you

• he also loves it when you guys ride on one horse together, so you can wrap your arms around his waist with one of his hands resting over yours

• would also love it if you came to watch him in the equestrian club

• if someone talks bad about you or messes with you, they’ll witness one of the rare instances where Silver is genuinely mad

• he will tell them off for how wrong their actions were, and then proceed to make sure you were alright

• on that note, he’s okay at comforting verbally, but amazing at comforting physically

• his hugs are so soft and sweet, and you can feel how much he cares about you

• he doesn’t see the point in PDA, but it’s not uncommon to find you guys napping together out in the open

• his hugs are the best

• always has a soft smile on his face when you’re around or when he talks about you

• Lilia also played wingman for him

• Silver always feels terrible if he fell asleep on accident while you were talking

• but he always reassures you that he was listening to everything you said (which is true)

• will protect you from his father’s cooking

• does everything a gentleman would do

• gives sleepy kisses that are so soft and gentle

• arguments are essentially nonexistent between you two, given that his personality is incredibly calm that it also exudes a sense of calmness to those around him

• that, and you guys make sure to communicate well

• will hold your hand and bring it up to his lips so he can kiss your knuckles

• forehead kisses!!

• he loves it when you play with his hair while he’s sleeping, especially when he can lay his head in your lap

• he will praise you, but not excessively

• Malleus likes you and is happy that you’re simply there for Silver

• Sebek thinks it’s ludicrous for Silver to have a partner when his sole duty should be to protect Malleus

• Sebek will complain about Silver’s lack of dedication to Malleus, but deep down he is glad Silver has found someone he loves

• Lilia absolutely LOVES you

• he’s so happy his son found a person he loves, and is so supportive

• he’s constantly teasing you guys, but he does it out of the goodness of his heart

• will 100% tell embarrassing stories of Silver as a child

• but seriously, he’s happy that Silver has someone else he can rely on

• especially cause he knows Silver’s lifespan isn’t the same as that of the fae…

• he’s glad that he knows Silver will always be happy with you around

• Silver is very happy that you and his father get along

• cause his father means the world to him

• over all, Silver is the sweetest boyfriend you could ever want ♡

• not going to lie, he probably never thought he would date anyone

• because to him his sole purpose was to protect Malleus

• and to be completely honest, that won’t change. Malleus will forever continue to be his main priority

• buuuut he does genuinely care for you (even if he refuses to admit it)

• and will lecture to you about how wonderful Malleus is

• but if will also listen to anything you have to say, no matter what it may be

• refuses to admit he’s a jealous person, and will always make up excuses

• the moment someone flirts with you though? he’s right there yelling at them

• arguments happen quite often to be honest

• and most of the time they have to do with his appreciation obsession of Malleus

• they can get pretty explosive as well, given his extreme emotions

• so it’s best to just give each other space before trying to solve the issue

• he loves it when you go to the equestrian club though because it gives him an opportunity to showcase his amazing skills

• will also teach you how to ride a horse, but he’s not exactly the best teacher there is

• he’s also not great at comforting people, given his inherently loud nature

• he’ll be very stiff while holding you in his arms, and gets flustered as he tries to think of ways to help you

• not a fan of PDA because he thinks it’s unbecoming of a knight

• if someone talked bad about you or bothered you, he would immediately be there to defend your name and honor

• basically he yells at them

• he’ll be extremely happy if you not only listen to his praises of Malleus, but if you also participated in them too (except he may feel the slightest twinge of jealousy)

• Malleus likes you, he just wishes Sebek would give you more attention

• on a similar note, Silver feels bad for you

• he will also roll his eyes at all of Sebek’s antics

• Lilia believes that your presence will help Sebek grow as a person, and is very supportive

• Sebek would love for you to meet his parents, but he would never admit that

• he really admires his mom so her opinion of you would matter quite a bit to him

• he just wants to make sure she also likes you

• with that in mind, Sebek would be a very interesting boyfriend ♡

Rook

Rook, for me, seems like the type of man who would prefer for you to choose the date location since he wants to see the places that “bring out your inner beauty, mon cheri!” But don’t get him wrong, he would be so happy if you ask him to be the one to decide the place and the activities . I still believe that he would choose something according to the vibe you give him.

If you prefer more relaxed dates, Rook would suggest going to a gallery or a botanical garden. He would find enjoyment in looking together at the exhibits and to either explain them to you and vice versa. He would also bring a camera with him to take photos of the exhibits and of course you, it brings him so much happiness. Be sure that he would praise your beauty among the paintings/flowers for eons but just know that everything he says it’s completely true. He also seems the type of person to try to find a painting/flower that would resemble you and immediately show it to you. Please do the same for him, Rook will be overjoyed.

“Mon étoile, this painting reminds me of you. The way their eyes look like they are shining from love is magnificent and their lips curving into a coy smil- wait did you say that painting reminds you more of me? Oh! Hahaha you little trickster….you have no idea how much that fills me with joy, thank you..”

On the other hand, if you like to do something fun for your date, he would definitely suggest paintball! Don’t worry, he would go easy on you , after all he wants both of you to enjoy the date. And seeing your determined and concentrated face upon close makes Rook more lovestruck by the second. Also if you are inexperienced with paintball, be sure that he will leave everything to go help you out, no matter the team you guys are!

“That’s it, raise it just a little higher so you will hit him right across his protective vest, we don’t want our dear company to be hurt after the game. That’s it, you are doing great. Eh? I am a little bit too close? So sorry mon cheri, it wasn’t my intention to make you uncomfortable..Heh? You didn’t mind it? Oh…then you wouldn’t mind if I got a little closer, right?”

Idia

First of all, I have to applaud you for getting him out of his room to go on a date with you. We all know that Idia is extremely shy to go out but with the help of his no.1 wingman, aka Ortho, he will definitely grow some courage and mayyybeee leave his tablet behind. Okay maybe not. But still Idia wants to choose a date spot that you will love and at the same time both of you feel comfortable with, so a very cozy date is his way to go.

Since he would feel bad if you stayed inside for the whole duration of the date, one of his most creative suggestions was a Board Game Shop date. As a member of the Board Game Club, I feel he would have a grasp on what type of games you will find fun . Also this is a good way for him to see what your preferences are and he loves it when you come up to him and excitedly tell him about a game you found that you want to play together. Little do you know that that’s exactly what he wants to do. So when you are not looking, he goes and buys the game that you were most excited about. On the way home he has a warm smile on his face when he hears you being overjoyed that he bought a game for both.

“When we reach home, do you want to play it together? It will be fine if you can’t, I completely understand if you are busy. HUHH? YOU-YOU CANCELED EVERYTHING TODAY SO WE CAN SPENT THE DAY TOGETHER? Why did you… fine fine sorry… and thank you.”

If Idia is in a more confident mood, rare I know, he would suggest going to a cat cafe. Probably when the cafe opens so few people would be around. But that doesn’t make it any less special. The way Idia’s eyes lit up when he was around those cute little cats and you was unmatched. The way his hair was up in a bun ,so the kittens wouldn’t be burned, was so adorable even though the kittens had something else in mind. They would flock around his hair due to the warmth and the lighting and would play around like moths on a light pole. Idia even though he was worried for the kittens, he couldn’t help laugh when they were attacking him at all fronts. Please take a lot of pictures and videos for him, he would be so touched his hair will turn pink.

“Look at all those kittens! OMG they are so adorable, I wanna take them all home and just cuddle them up and take so many pict- h-hey why are you smiling like that? You think I-I am more ad-adorable? Well you are totally wrong cause that is you. I said nothing!”

Lilia

Lilia seems the most knowledgeable about dates from the other two due to him living for so many years but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t enjoy them anymore. On the contrary, he feels so warm inside when you propose to go on a date with him. Silver would be a little baffled seeing his dad so happy but the moment he realizes why, he is supportive. With a little persuasion, Malleus, Silver and Sebek would convince him to not do a dinner date cause “It’s more fun if you have a change of scenery” but thankfully Lilia had more ideas in store,

Unfortunately for you, one of them was a picnic. No matter how hard they tried to force Lilia out of the kitchen, Lilia did manage to make some stuff for both of you to eat. If we put aside his inability to cook, he strongly believes that food is a form of love, so his strong feelings will show if he makes something with a strong taste no? Thank Silver and Sebek afterwards for packing some fruits too. But nevertheless, the date is super fun, doing cloud gazing together, picking flowers and just overall sharing stories.

“So little one, I packed some sandwiches and some tarts for us to eat, all made by me of course. Huh? You want to eat later? My, my, can I ask why? Oh you wanna explore the area first? Of course everything for a person as lovely as you are…”

If you are a music lover like him, make sure that he will recommend both of you to go to a concert. It doesn’t matter if the band is popular or not, if he knows them or not or if they fit his style, he just wants to hang out with you. He is happy to follow you anywhere and he is open to new experiences. Also during the concert he will make sure that everything is alright and he will make sure that you will enjoy it wholeheartedly. The moment a love song plays, make sure to check on him because his eyes are definitely not on the stage anymore.

“Uhm sorry sorry, didn’t mean to stare, it’s just….hahahaha how awful of me to just stare at you like that, forgive me, dearest. It’s just…oh I hate repeating myself. The truth is you are much more interesting to look at, I just wanna look at your smile forever, will you forgive me for that?”

Darling Anon, I loved this request so much that I accidentally wrote two versions over the weekend! I couldn't stop thinking about this from both a supporting platonic and unrequited love viewpoint for the boys so I wrote both. Hopefully, that's ok! Thanks so much for sending such a cool request <3

CW: unrequited feelings, some angst

🐉 Malleus:

If he doesn't have a crush on you: Malleus immediately launches into stealthy protection mode! He personally sets out to learn everything about this guy and whether or not he deserves to be with you. He constantly pulls him aside for intense questioning to find out what kind of personality he has. If your crush passes the interrogations, Malleus then enrolls this poor Diasomnia student in personal combat lessons with Lilia to make sure he has what it takes to protect you.

If he has a crush on you: Malleus is so shocked and confused when he learns of your crush that isn't him. He doesn't know what to do or say, so he becomes a little cold and distant towards you. He's still mostly polite when you run into each other, but you can tell something is bothering him. When you finally confront him, he tells you very directly that it's because he likes you and that he knows you like someone else. He doesn't ask you to stop liking your original crush. In a sad and quiet voice, he simply says, "I'll wait for you."

♠️ Deuce:

If he doesn't have a crush on you: Deuce is the ultimate wingman! When he learns of your crush on a fellow Heartslabyul student, he offers all of his support and asks if you want any help approaching your crush. Every time you go to speak with your crush, Deuce is there to hype you up and be your personal cheerleader.

If he has a crush on you: When you tell Deuce you like this random student in his dorm, he gets so flustered that he blurts out that he likes you. Before you can say anything, he runs away and later you hear that Deuce almost got into a fist fight with your crush. After he's calmed down a little, Deuce finds you and lays out everything he's feeling. His expression is full of confusion, anger, hurt, fear. He only asks, "Why him? I just want to know why you like him and not me?"

🐙 Azul:

If he doesn't have a crush on you: Azul immediately pulls all of the info he has on your crush and also dispatches the Leech brothers to do additional reconnaissance work. Knowledge is power and he wants to make sure you know exactly what you're getting with this guy. Any secrets this Octavinelle student thought he had is soon no longer a secret. Azul gets all the details on his friends, family, financial status, academics, etc. and compiles everything in a complete dossier for you.

If he has a crush on you: Azul reacts to news of your crush the same way he would if he didn't have a crush on you. However, the key difference now is that he collects the information way more quickly and almost in a panic. Once he has all the information he can find on his romantic rival, he considers several plans of attack. The most attractive option to him is to either secretly bribe or threaten his rival into never talking to you again. But Azul knows that would make you sad and he never wants to make you feel that way. So he decides to be realistic and simply gives you the information without saying anything about his feelings. Looking a little sad, he just says, "I'll always be here for you if you need anything."

🦁 Leona:

If he doesn't have a crush on you: Outwardly, Leona acts like he doesn't really care. However, after he learns of your crush on a Savanaclaw student, he secretly keeps an eye on your crush whenever he can. He quietly observes him, making sure he's not a bad guy or someone who'd be disrespectful towards you. If he's found to be lacking, Leona will directly tell you and offer to beat him up. If the Savanaclaw student passes Leona's observations, then he'll order him to go talk to you first.

If he has a crush on you: Leona is usually really good at keeping his emotions in check, but you can tell he's really irritated when you tell him about your crush. When you ask him what's wrong, Leona will brush off your questions and keep insisting that everything is fine. However, Leona continues to act annoyed and keeps assigning a bunch of hard jobs and extra tasks to your crush whenever possible. When you finally confront him and refuse to let him go without a real answer, Leona tells you that he likes you. He looks frustrated and sad as he says, "I want to be as important to you as you are to me. I can't believe I'm in second place again…"

🍩 Ruggie:

If he doesn't have a crush on you: When he first finds out about your crush, Ruggie teases you a little about it (in a way that makes the both of you laugh). Afterwards, you and Ruggie will frequently trade gossip about your crush while eating snacks and talking about your feelings in a light-hearted way. If you ever start to feel anxious about talking to your crush, Ruggie always lightens the mood with a good joke and surprisingly good advice.

If he has a crush on you: Ruggie cracks a joke as always but, when it comes to your crush, the jokes get a little mean-spirited. Even though it sounds like he's joking, whenever Ruggie talks about your crush he seems bitter and frustrated. When you ask Ruggie what's wrong, he initially plays it off as a joke. Eventually though, he seems to give up and he admits that he's jealous of this guy because he likes you too. Looking tired and defeated, he says "Honestly, I get why you'd choose him over me. It's not like I have much to offer you."

🐺 Jack:

If he doesn't have a crush on you: Jack gets really protective over you and treats your feelings very seriously. He tells you everything he knows about the guy and offers to talk to him for you or go with you to talk to him. Jack makes it very clear to your crush that if he ever does anything to make you sad, then Jack will do everything he can to protect your honor.

If he has a crush on you: Jack gets really quiet and thoughtful when you tell him about your crush. For the next few days, he avoids you and you can never seem to catch him. Eventually, Jack sees that his behavior is making you upset so he finally meets up with you. He tells you in a very straightforward way that he likes you and that he had hoped you liked him to. You've never seen him look so disappointed and brokenhearted. With a face filled with regret, he admits, "You're such an important member of my pack, I guess I just took it for granted that you'd always be around."

Has to make sure he heard you right. Are you sure you meant his dorm leader (even though most of the others aren’t the greatest boyfriend material either)? Oh, so he did hear you correctly… Well, that’s a bit strange. You certainly have interesting taste in men, they suppose. Nothing entirely wrong with that, but they don’t see the appeal.

Goes off on you for your horrible taste in men. Out of all the people at NRC that you could find attractive, it’s their dorm leader?? Doesn’t understand the appeal of them or your taste in men, and they make sure you know how much they disagree with your opinion about the attractiveness of their dorm leaders.

Starts laughing – like, laughing out loud as they hold their sides from the stitches your confession is giving them. How embarrassing for you, huh? Man, your taste in men is absolutely abysmal if you somehow find their dorm leader of all people appealing. A part of them finds it kind of sad, but that feeling is completely overwritten by the amount of entertainment they get out of the situation.

Found it a bit strange to be telling him that, but he‘s glad you find his brother attractive! He sees you as a dear friend of his, so he wouldn’t mind seeing you and his brother together! If anything, that would make him one of the happiest people on the planet!

Agrees with you wholeheartedly! Their dorm leader is a very handsome young man with a lot of talent and future potential, so they agree – you certainly have great taste! The Diasomnia dorm was almost your second home when you befriended Malleus. The nightly walks alongside each other and sharing ice cream evolved into a genuine friendship. You treated Malleus like a person, not a prince, not a powerful sorcerer, but Malleus. You invited him to hang out, you listened to his interests. He's… never had that before.

From there you ended up going out of your way to invite him out, venturing into the unfamiliar dorm to find him. The act ended up catching the attention of the rest of his friends/pseudo-family, who embraced you happily.

They all grew on you like Malleus. You had your own rituals you did with each of them. Listening to Sebek's passionate rambles. Practicing fencing with Silver. Having to get Sebek to help you carry Silver back to his room when he passes out somewhere. They became just as important as Malleus to you.

Another ritual you had was with the dad of the dorm, Lilia. You would both often play a few online games with him or come over for tea, which you are doing now. Thankfully, this time Malleus informed you that he made sure to prepare the tea himself. You learned the hard way anything Lilia makes is either inedible or toxic. Silver took care of your poor, sick self after.

You take a sip of the tea Malleus prepared– it's your favorite actually– as you enjoy your time with the fae in front of you. The conversations and gossip from earlier died down and now you both sit in comfortable silence.

At some point you must have zoned out when Lilia began talking again, your name on his lips being the thing that snapped you out of it. Lilia looked over at you with his usual smile.

"My my, does my old tale bore you that badly?" Lilia dramatically puts a hand to his forehead, his expression dropping, "Oh how you wound this poor old man."

"My apologies, Lilia, I didn't mean to." The fae chuckles teasingly before responding. "Were you perhaps daydreaming of a special someone?" You tense up and he beams, mischievously. "Oh don't worry my boys do the same thing!"

You chuckle, not surprised, after all, he did raise Silver, who is known for dozing off in the middle of a conversation. You can imagine Lilia speaking to Silver without realizing he was asleep the entire time. "... Speaking of my boys, you seem awfully close to them."

His gleeful voice catches your attention again. "I'm quite happy they found new a friend"

You nod "Yes, they mean a lot to me, you know? Not a lot of people on campus treat me kindly." At that, the general's smile falters for a moment before sighing, deciding to change the conversation to a happier one.

"So… they mean a lot to you?" "No not at all actually," you reply sarcastically, the fae just rolls his eyes half-heartedly. "Kidding. You know I love them." What he says next throws you off guard.

"Hoh, is that so? They aren't seeing anyone currently. If you're interested, that is!" It's hard to tell if he is serious or joking or not. "You would make a wonderful addition to the family, after all ~" His voice sounded serious, yet his expression was mischievous, in the smug dad way only he can do.

You open your mouth, then close it. Right as you were about to respond, Malleus enters the room you both were in. The dragon glances at you, then at Lilia.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you both, however, Silver and Sebek are awaiting your sword lessons, Lilia."

"Oh is that so? I nearly forgot! I'm sorry, Prefect gotta go. Oh, and feel free to help yourself to some tea Malleus, you did brew it yourself after all." You swore you saw Lilia wink at you. Wait. Did he just wingman you with his son??

Bonus:

The very next day you awoke to a lot of commotion outside of the dorm. Stepping out of bed, you made your way to the front door. Opening it, you see an entire camera crew right in front of your dorm, Vil standing in front of them with a mic in hand.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen I am your host Vil, here to present to you the very first season of Night Ravens College Bachelor!-"

You tuned out and looked around, confused. You saw Malleus, Sebek, and Silver behind the camera crew, confused looks on their faces as a few people do their makeup.

"Ah you're awake," a familiar voice purred. Looking to your right you see Lilia, sitting in an old rocking chair on the porch, popcorn in his lap and tomato juice in his hand.

Just to clarify, put this before Yuu and Lilia got together.

Okay so, Lilia Tsum is getting all of Yuu’s attention, absolutely loving how he’s being called adorable, a precious bean, being hugged and kissed because he’s such an adorable Tsum, cradled and loved by this giant version of their beloved, how more can this stuffed toy ask?

Well, in reality Tsum Lilia is doing it to also annoy normal Lilia, because he thought these two were a thing, what is a little game of jealousy? Tsum Lilia gets to spend quality time with this version of his own lover, he’s sure Lilia is going to snap at him and he’s going to turn this into a hide and seek game; wrong.

Lilia, who wants to confess but fumbles it everytime and doesn’t want to come up as intense to Yuu, he’s on the sideline just watching all of this with a look of (°ㅂ°╬).

Yuu, unaware or just not feeling confident enough to confess to this dilf so they get to hug and kiss this version of their crush because it’s adorable, anyone would understand that cuteness aggression, this is one way to get those loving feeling off their chest.

And they just look at Lilia like “You doing alright? You’ve been awfully quiet” because they think they did something wrong, maybe he got bored of their conversation? Is he late for something? They aren’t, maybe they could offer to go to Sam’s and buy snacks to just, you know, be with him a bit longer.

And Lilia is just “No, nothing, just thinking of a, future training regime for the boys” he’s trying to reach for the Tsum and go prank people because the feeling and laughter at someone’s misfortune is WAY better than this burning jealousy, maybe he could get back to his Tsum with a prank or two.

And it clicks to Tsum Lilia, how coward can this version of himself be? Not on his watch!

So he disappears from Yuu’s arms and makes them trip, Lilia catching them by the waist, Tsum Lilia taking this advantage to tackle Lilia and making both fall on each other.

With both on the ground, maybe in a stupid position who knows, Tsum Lilia jumping on his counterparts head like “fucking do it dude! I know you love them, just confess!”

Okay, that is all I can think of, you go off, how would you end this? With Lilia squeezing the Tsum like a squeaky toy?

As the prefect throw the bouquet in the air to have a dramatic departure from the cafeteria, she failed to calculate the direction of her toss, and she had to stop in the middle of her walk when she realized the flowers landed in an inconvenient place.

The next day after the ghost incident, the Ramshackle first-year walked towards the Heartslabyul Dorm to visit her friends, just to make sure they were doing okay after the events of the previous day.

On her way there, she checked Magicam on her phone, scrolling through different posts, most of them from Cater, as he was always the most active out of everyone.

But a certain picture caught her attention, while she walked through the magic mirror. A selfie of Cater, holding her bouquet as he winked at the camera, with a bunch of hashtags on the caption.

"I see you're looking at my pics, (Y/n)! They're fabulous, right?" The third-year student suddenly appeared next to her, it seemed like he just finished painting the roses. "But it's been such a long we’ve uploaded a picture together! I have the #perfect accessory, come with me~”

Once they arrived at his room, he quickly showed the prefect her own flower bouquet, which she used for the proposal the day before.

“This will look great, say cheese (Y/n)!”.

“I did assist you with the basics, but most of what you said was effective due to your skill. A charm like yours could enchant anyone, mon chéri.” The third-year gazed affectionally towards the Ramshackle prefect.

“Ah, hello Ortho.” The prefect greeted, smiling at him. “I actually throw it because of the traditional toss of the weddings, but thanks either way.” She received the flowers, two small papers attached to the flowers.

‘thx for ur help yesterday. very nice of you ig.’ Was written on one of the notes, the prefect easily recognizing Idia’s handwriting. The other piece of paper was a discount coupon for the videogames store in the city.

“What tradition?”

“Well, the bride has to toss the bouquet at the guests, and the one who catches it, it’s supposed to get married next.” (Y/n) explained, confused at the now excited look on Ortho’s face.

“My brother was who caught it!”

“Really? That’s cool.”

“But it’s probably going to be difficult. He doesn’t interact with a lot of people, you know?”

“Don’t say that! There’s gotta be someone that wants to be with Idia, he’s nice once you get to know him, after all.”

“I guess that leaves you as the only option, perhaps you’d be interested on helping my brother to follow the tradition…?”

A week after Idia was kidnapped by the phantom bride, everything had come back to normal. As usual, you went to Diasomnia to visit one of your friends, the vicehousewarden of the said dorm. Lilia invited you regularly to join him at a gaming session, and that day wasn’t an exception.

“Oh, what a coincidence, that bouquet looks just like the one I had last week.”

“It is the same, actually!” The fae explained, chuckling at the confused expression of the prefect. “Isn’t that a human tradition? To catch the bouquet of the bride?”

“Yeah, but why would you want it?”

“I heardthat the one that gets it is supposed to be the next to get married~ And after so long, I think is normal for a man of my age to want a formal relationship, don’t you think?”

(Y/n) laughed at the words of the Diasomnia third-year, thinking he was just joking.

“I think you missed a few steps, Lilia. As far as I’m concerned, you don’t even have a partner. “

The dark-haired fae grinned widely, his entire aura changing, as he gazed confidently at the prefect’s eyes.

Summary: you tell Lilia about a certain way to court somebody back in your world/country, not realizing the sneaky little ol' him had an idea to try it out on you.

Quick Note: Harana, one of the Philippines traditional form of courtship in which a man (in many cases) woos. a woman by singing underneath her window or. outside her house at night (credits to google). Basically haharanahin ka ni Lilia sa fic nato (translation: basically Lilia is going to do Harana to you outside the Ramshackle dorm) although it is normally performed by a guy to a girl, it is not limited to any gender that is why this fic is also gender neutral so all genders are included, this fic contains tagalog words which is I'm too lazy to translate but they are just basic words so now worries ^^

Lilia was kind enough to accept your offer to study magic history together for he perhaps has a bit of history knowledge back in his olden days, he is the perfect person to go to if you truly want to study this curriculum hard and prepare for the quiz tomorrow

but as kind as he is, you still feel a little bit guilty for feeling like you had taken advantage of his knowledge of history so you would ace your test and show it off to your friends, you decide to ask what would he want something for an exchange of his smarts after your study session on the library

"i never knew you were like Ashengrotto, always wanting to clear up your debt from somebody so you wouldn't have to deal with it later-- ahaha just kidding just kidding~" Lilia laughed as you nudged on him slightly with your elbow

"Hmm, i do not want anything in particular but you could do something for me, no worries it is fair and something you could easily give to me" you tilt your head at him

"i would like to know about your world's culured courting, how do the people back from your world or country court somebody they like" you are surprised, Lilia liked somebody? you have no idea why would he ask for this information but as much it is none of your business if Lilia would love to use your culture to ask somebody out. and in fact it is a fair exchange for a study session from him

you tell him about the most famous and common way to woo somebody bacm in your country, a Harana, when a binata sings a romantic song with his guitar and his wingman friends under the dalaga's window to woo her, even how common it is for a way of panliligaw or courting, it is one the most romantic courting culture every filipino of your country knows.

"I see, it is truly romantic even if i was the lady herself i would instantly blush at the thought of somebody doing that for me" you nod in agreement "so you would like it if somebody does that to you?" he asked as he looked at you directly in your eyes waiting for an honest answer, you agree smiling at him, it is a sweet way to say "i like you or i love you" to someone after all, you wouldn't mind having somebody use that courting technique to you.

"Oh hoh i see i see~" he chuckled, then proceed to think to himself but you interrupt him with your question, why does he ask about this and what would he do with it?

"Mm you truly are naive little one no wonder many is drawn to you including me, i got another favor to ask, can you hold sleeping too early tonight?" he asked as you reply with another nod

"great! now should we continue back to our studying? you are done with my condition but im halfly not fufu~" he grin at you as he shifts in close to look at your notes, well if those are the only requirements for the long awaited studying to be started then you have completed them all and the deal is done.

the afternoon on the library was spent with you both browsing his memory to help you with his study.

you yawn as you review some notes that you had written earlier while studying with Lilia, he was a big help, everything was covered completely and you didn't miss any single detail on magic history with his help, you are ready to take the test tomorrow and completely pass it

"Oi, I'm done with the bath it's you turn now" he flooped straightly to bed leaving his wet towel on the floor and napped instantly

you sigh, you stood up to pick it up as you heard a strings of guitar played outside your window, you taught it was just your head but it continued to play a rhythm of your favorite song outside.

you open the crooked wooden window and peeked your head out, in sight was Lilia and the Light Music Club with their instruments, Lilia himself have a wooden guitar and playing with its chords, he noticed you and grinned with a bright smile. wait, is Lilia doing the courting thing you told him earlier?

you duck down with a flustered face, is it because you told him that you would like to experience it too!? this is too much for you but at the same time....kinda cute of him to do.

you once again peek out, you believe the sound of your favorite song draw you in to listen more but you are pretty sure it is Lilia that brought you out of your embarrassed state.

You giggle at them, this is so romantic for that dork guy to do, good thing he managed to hook up those other two to perform, but knowing their personalities no wonder they would agree to something like this

the song finished, and you clap your hands, you hope your appreciation reach them even from high up your window

"I HOPE YOU LIKED LILIA-SAN'S HARANA TO YOU!!" Kalim shouted

"Kalim, you don't have to shout they are not that far" Cater patted Kalim's shoulder, the white haired boy couched down picked up his dropped drumsticks rolling on the ground

"Oh hoh~ this had been fun" Lilia laughs, not noticing your figure disappearing from the window, running down outside to meet him. you pull the Ramshackle's door open and ran straight at him surprising him with a hug

"Salamat, ang sweet nun" you whisper at his ear, you do not know if he did understand it or not you just want to express your him for his sweetness

translation: Thanks, that was sweet

"Now, i repaid you for doing the second favor for me earlier fufu~ i don't want to take advantage of you for asking you to stay u--" you interrupt him by kissing his cheek making him stop mid sentence and stare at you

"Ooh lovebirds~" as Cater said that Lilia pulled you in to kiss you on your lips

"eh? Cater why did you cover my eyes?"

"shh Kalim im afraid we might ruin this lovey dovey moment if we say another word" Cater had his hand on Kalim's eyes as he tapped Cater's hand confusedly

"ehehe, if you are going to pull something like this i might do this Harana again, what do you think?" just like before, you don't mind if somebody does it for you, especially if it's Lilia.

Some headcanons:

I really don’t think they’d get together while at NRC. Silver is so laser focused on training to become a knight, and Kalim is so preoccupied with learning to be the next head of his family’s business, that I don’t think the stars would align for them to start dating while at school. When Silver realizes he’s fallen in love, he’d hesitate to confess since he knows he wants to stay in Briar Valley and serve the royal family the rest of his life. (I really don’t think anything is going to get Silver out of BV unless he’d be accompanying his father to go live with him elsewhere.) So for that reason (and also because they’re both shy and silly), Silver wouldn’t tell Kalim how he feels before they graduate from NRC. In my mind, they don’t get together until like a good decade post-graduation.

Silver likes that Kalim does most of the talking, and he never feels pressured to speak at length if he doesn’t want to. Kalim in turn likes that Silver is level headed, a good listener, and that he’s one of the few people he can enjoy silence with.

Kalim never gets mad when Silver falls asleep on him mid-conversation and he’ll be happy to sit and wait for however long it’ll take for Silver to wake up.

I think Kalim would be the first of the two to start crushing on the other. He’d get like shoujo manga heroine vision and start seeing sparklies and rainbows and stuff whenever Silver is around dfkgjdf

If they did go out during their time at NRC, Jami would for sure get really worried and trail them on their dates. He’d stake out on top of a nearby building, and he’d watch them from the scope of a sniper rifle. Atop another nearby building, Lilia would also be watching them, but from the scope of one of those really long paparazzi cameras instead.

After they get married, they have a lot of kids (all adopted and of all different species). I’m not sure how many, but at least five. (Kalim wanted a large family because he grew up with one and he adores all his siblings, and Silver feels it’s his duty to provide a loving home to any children in need.) Kalim has tons more experience with kids than Silver does, so Silver would lean on him a lot in the beginning with their first baby, but I think Silver would get the hang of things pretty quickly and he’d be a great dad.

No matter whom you ship Silver with romantically, I think we can all agree Lilia would be his number one wingman and he’d be really annoying lol. He’d def pester Silver a lot for any updates on his courting endeavors and give him the most Awful advice ever. He’d be like, “Silver, I’ll do anything to make sure this ship sails!” and Silver would be like, “Father, what vessel are you referring to…?”

I ship them for a couple different reasons, but I guess the main one is that I love that Silver genuinely appreciates and respects Kalim for who he is, and that Kalim in turn sees past Silver’s stone faced exterior and he can see all the good he has in his heart. A lot of the other characters more or less just put up with Kalim, and they’ll be kind to him just so they can get something from him. And with Silver, most people don’t take the time to understand that just because he’s quiet and doesn’t outwardly express his emotions a lot, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care or that he’s literally emotionless. So I guess I just like that they understand each other beyond the superficial impressions the other students have of them.

They honestly remind me a lot of Soriku – with Kalim mirroring Sora's bright and sunshine-y nature and Silver being more serious and solemn like Riku. Silver said in his dorm uniform vignette that he wishes he could be more open like Kalim, and if we ever get Kalim wishing he could be more like Silver in some way I will melt into a puddle on the spot lol (‘cause it’d mirror sora and riku’s convo on the dark margin at the end of KH2).

I have a couple different songs for them in my silkali playlist, but the one I think encompasses their ship the best is mona lisa by Sam Cooke! (it’s from Kalim’s pov)

“are you, um…” epel gestures towards where malleus would’ve been.

“him? me? yeah, we’re, we’re, uh, uhm, done, yeah.” you nod, laughing awkwardly. “need, uh, anything?”

“um, can I ask for 1 of those apples?!” epel presses his hands together in a pleading gesture. “I just got this really great idea, and I gotta try it on sum’ of them, so if it’s okay-”

“apples? these? sure, yeah, take ‘em. in fact, take all of them.” you push the basket towards him.

“really? seriously?! then, you should come with me! I can show you my tricks!”

“eh, wait-!” epel loops grabs your shoulder, urging you to come with him and you happily let him take the lead.
