‚Is that all for Steve?’ Robin asked you when you were showing her the sweets you had bought for him. ‚Can I have some? For being a good friend and driving you to his house?’

‘Okay, fineeeee…’ You shook your head and tossed her a candy bar.

‘Hey! I’m driving! Do you want us to end up in a ditch like last time?’

‘Sorry, ma’am.’ You chuckled. ‘And for the record, us ending up in a ditch was entirely your fault.’

‘Excuse me? Hell no. If you were quiet and didn’t show me the cows on the field it wouldn’t have happened.’ She argued. ‘Why do you have all this stuff for him, anyway?

‘I just wanted to do something nice for him. He’s been a bit busy lately, probably problems with his parents, and I just want to cheer him up.’ You answered. ‘Plus, I miss him. We don’t have as much time to hang out as we used to.’

‘You really are the best girlfriend.’ She smirked.

‘I know.’ You smiled at her.

‘We’re here.’ She parked on the side of the road next to Steve’s house. ‘Can I have one more snack please?’ She grinned.

‘Only because you asked so nicely.’ You mumbled and placed a bar of chocolate on her thighs. ‘Will you come and pick me up later?’

‘I would love to but I can’t. My auntie is coming to town and mom is insisting on me being there and playing with my cousins. It’s a torture (Y/n) and if I could I’d rather hang out with you.’

‘You’re gonna be okay, they are just kids.’ You chuckled. ‘Have fun.’

‘Thanks, I won’t.’ She replied and drove off leaving you alone.

You slowly made your way to Steve’s house. His car was parked in the driveway and you smiled to yourself knowing you chose a good timing. You walked up to his door and put up your hand to ring the doorbell. Right before you pressed it, you hesitated. How about a surprise? You thought and quietly opened the door. The inside of the house was weirdly quiet, Steve wasn’t sitting in the living room in front of the TV nor was he outside in the pool. You frowned and decided to head upstairs straight to his room. Your movement had never been that quiet as they were in that moment. You slowly placed one feet and then the other on the stairs and when you reached the top of it - you froze. Steve’s bedroom door was slightly cracked open and from this exact room you had heard his soft moan. It was quiet, but loud enough that you could hear it in the empty house. You hoped he was just pleasuring himself, that he was the only one in his bedroom, because he wouldn’t do that, right? He wouldn’t cheat on you. He wouldn’t cheat on me. He wouldn’t break your heart. He wouldn’t break my heart. In hopes of proving that, even though your heart was beating out of your chest, you took another step forward that let you peek inside easily. And what you saw broke your heart. Steve was in fact with another woman. His hands were roaming her clothed body while she was sitting on top of him. You could say they were swallowing each other. And just as you were about to leave the girl threw her head back to give him a better access to her neck. Her eyes were closed and make up messy but you instantly recognized her. Nancy fucking Wheeler. You knew how close they were before you had started dating Steve. You knew what she had meant to him. You knew how much he had loved her. You remembered how he had assured you she means nothing to him.

It’s all in the past. I don’t love her anymore. You are the one for me. I would never cheat on you. I love you. I want you, not her. You are the most beautiful. She isn’t there, you are. I have never loved someone as much as you. I would always choose you.

All of the promises he had made were now just empty words. They didn’t have any meaning to you anymore and yet you felt the warmth of your tears slowly slipping down your cheeks. Even though they meant nothing the pain was still with you. You brought your palm to your mouth to muffle the sob escaping your mouth. You looked down at the present you had for him and placed it right in front of his door. You threw one last glance inside the room and noticed the photo on his nightstand. You and him, sleeping on a towel, all your limbs tangled. This was the day you had lost your virginity to him and right before that you were at Lover’s Lake with your friends where the picture was taken. The day you had cherished the most now became the day you hated. You quickly ran downstairs, not bothered about them hearing you anymore. Tears were now freely falling down your face and you were choking on the sobs that could finally escape your lips. You sat down at a bus stop you saw nearby and after some time you finally calmed down. Still heavily breathing and tired from all the crying you lied down on the bench. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. How could you have trusted him? Even though he was the bad guy in this scenario you still felt like part of it was your fault. Maybe if I had done something differently it wouldn’t have happened? Or maybe he just never loved me?

You wiped your face with your sweater. Your mascara left dark stains on the fabric which would normally bother you, but at that moment you couldn’t care less. You decided to walk for a bit and clear your mind. Beards chirping, occasional cars passing by, wind whistling in your ears. Everything was normal, as if nothing had happened.

‘(Y/n)?’

You quickly turned your head to the person calling your name.

‘Oh, um, hi Eddie.’ You managed to send him a small smile and a wave.

He was smoking a cigarette outside of his van which was parked on the sidewalk.

‘What are you doing here?’ He asked as you were trying to continue your walk.

‘Nothin’. I just wanted to breathe in some fresh air.’ You answered quickly and turned around.

‘Wait! I think you have something on you face.’

Oh no.

‘Hey, just let me-‘ He came closer to you and blocked your way. ‘What happened? Were you crying?’

‘Pfft.. no.’

‘Pfft.. yes you were.’ He snickered. ‘Are you okay?’

You just shook your head sideways and then wrapped your arms around him. Eddie was taken aback by your action, he was surprised and had no idea what was going on but it was clear you needed someone. He pulled you closer with one hand while his other one was softly stroking your hair. You were fully sobbing again in his arms, tears and mascara staining his shirt. While you were fully miserable and a bit embarrassed, he only wanted to make you feel better. He started moving his hips from side to side and you pulled away from him to check what he was doing. He grabbed your hands and started moving them up and down.

‘Eds, what are you doing?’ A chuckle escaped your lips.

‘Cheering you up.’ He said and spun you around. ‘Better?’

‘Yeah, a bit.’ You smiled.

‘Do you want to talk about it in the van?’ He suggested. ‘I mean, you don’t have to, it’s not like I’m pressuring you or anything, right?’

‘I want to.’ You whispered weakly and coughed.

He shot you a small smile and pulled you with him towards the car, his hand still not leaving yours. He opened the back door and helped you get in. He closed the door from the inside while you were looking around at the few posters in his car and some pillows and blankets here and there.

‘It’s nice.’ You mumbled.

‘Sorry, what?’ He asked confused and sat down in front of you.

‘Your car. It’s really nice.’ You smiled.

‘Oh, shit, um, thank you. No one has ever told me that.’ He chuckled. ‘We don’t have to talk about it, we can just hang out.’ He added when he noticed your sad expression.

You sniffled and wiped your nose. A big lump was present in your throat but you finally managed to swallow it.

‘Steve cheated on me.’ You barely whispered.

Eddie looked at you and stopped his tries of lighting up his joint. He took it out of his mouth and placed it behind his ear.

‘I’m sorry, what?’

‘Steve-‘

‘No. I heard you the first time.’ He said. ‘I’m just surprised he fucked up with someone like you.’

‘What do you mean?’

‘I mean that he is a dickhead that can’t see with his eyes. He had someone so perfect and he fucked up.’ He huffed. ‘Do you at least know with who he cheated?’

You looked down at your hands playing with the hem of your sweater.

‘Nancy Wheeler.’

‘What the fuck?’ He threw his head back in annoyance and anger. ‘I want to fuck him up so badly.’

‘Please don’t.’ You mumbled. ‘Our relationship was a mistake. If I knew…’ You sniffled. ‘If I knew that his feelings for Nancy weren’t fully gone I wouldn’t have dated him.’

‘Hey, it’s not your fault, okay? Don’t blame yourself for his actions. He doesn’t deserve you.’

You nodded softly and started thinking, the moment you caught them not leaving your mind.

‘I went to his house to give him a present. I bought him sweets, I made him some cupcakes and I wrote him a short letter. All for nothing.’

‘Shame you don’t have them with you. I would eat your cupcakes in a heartbeat.’

A soft laugh escaped your lips and you looked up at Eddie. You saw him in a different light at that moment. He wasn’t just the friendly dealer down the street. He wasn’t the high school freak. He was just himself, a beautiful boy with a beautiful, caring heart. You noticed how his messy his hair was, how uneven his bangs were and how he furrowed his brows while trying to light up a joint. You were looking at him while he shook off his jacket and threw it on the passengers seat. His arms were adored by tattoos which only made him hotter.

‘Maybe it’s for the best, you know.’ He said. ‘Now you can be with someone who will actually treat you how he’s supposed to.’

‘Yeah? Like who?’

‘Like me.’ He replied and quickly covered his mouth. ‘I am so sorry. Fuck, I shouldn’t have said that. It was an accident, I didn’t mean it.’

You smiled to yourself at his rambling. And you also felt your heart skip a beat when he said he could be better to you than Steve or anyone could ever be.

‘That’s a shame.’ You replied. ‘I actually thought you could show me how I’m supposed to be treated.’

His head perked up and you could feel his eyes all over yourself.

‘I take that back. It wasn’t an accident.’ He quickly said.

You laughed at the expression he wore on his face and then looked him straight in the eyes.

‘Do you really want me to do that?’ He asked as he crawled towards you. ‘I can show you how I would treat you if I were him.’ He whispered, his lips almost touching yours.

You wasted no time in moving your head forward and connecting them. This feeling was new and it felt liberating. He cupped your face with both of his hands and you both fell down onto the pillows. His kisses were much different than Steve’s, they were rougher but they were more passionate. He accidentally pushed his hips forward and you gasped. He used that to slide his tongue into your mouth. You never thought you would end up with Eddie in the back of his van in a such intimate situation. You also never thought Steve could cheat on you. Life is full of surprises.

‘Are you sure about this?’ He pulled away.

‘Show me Eddie. Show me what I missed out on.’

He pulled up your sweater and rested his hands on your belly which sent shivers down your spine. His hands were cold, but his rings were colder. ‘I wanted to do that.’ He mumbled with his lips attached to your belly.

‘You can take it off.’ You looked down at your breasts.

He didn’t do it the second you told him to. He took his time with peppering your chest with kisses,occasionally lifting your bra a bit. being a cartel leader’s girlfriend is obviously not an easy task for anyone, and you were no exception. in fact, you spend a lot of your time alone since valeria is on mission. she leave you in her penthouse with some of her men to keep you safe.

“i’ll be back in around 1 month, princesa" is what she tells you before going on a new mission, and it was again a lie. you were waiting for her for 3 weeks now and there is no valeria. and this situation was annoying for you because you needed her with you ; not somewhere, risking her life.

right now, you were on the couch of the living room, watching some stupid tv show you found while zapping. you couldn’t stop thinking about valeria, what is she doing ? when the fuck is she going to come back ? this situation made you think that you weren’t that important to her, you knew what it would be like when you started to date her but you didn’t know it could be that hard.

after 1 hour of watching tv, you heard noises coming from the entry of your house. you knew it was her just by hearing the footsteps. but for once, you weren’t going to get up and happily hugging her as if she wasn’t gone for 2 months. this time you decided to talk with her about it.

"hello, sweetheart. i'm home" shit. you'd be lying to yourself if hearing her voice didn't affect you because you missed her. but for once, you didn't want to do her the favor of not telling her about her tardiness, which by the way, is one of the many others when she's away on mission.

"mmh hello? is someone here? baby?" you know she was searching for you.

"yeah yeah. i'm in the living room". you said.

you heard her almost running to you. she enters the living room, only to open her arms wanting a hug. but you didn't move, you arms were crossed and you looked at her with a raised eyebrow. valeria look at you, confused. she didn't know why you refused her hug.

valeria took a deep breath, relaxing herself before talking, she wanted to stay calm for once because she knew this time she was in the wrong

the tension between you started to rise. someone outside the scene could even notice the sexual tension that was building up too.

Every 2-3 years I rewatch Shadowhunters and here are some observations:

so for context im rewatching with a friend and it's their first time watching and their observations are killing me (also i miss that era of tv show we rlly peaked)

s1 was a test run so you can clearly tell their budget doubled for s2 and it was the best thing ever. I am so proud of them

the casting is phenomenal people complained about their acting, but visually the actors suit the characters so much they "match" the shadowhunters universe if it makes sense

They are so gay, soooooo much chemistry left and right, izzy and clary? my friend thought they were the main couple. jace and alec? my friend also thought they would be a thing before i explained the whole parabatai warrior soulmates thing. don't even get me started on jace and simon and simon and raphael (my friend says it's due to simon's need to be manhandled by every man around him) oh wait i forgot izzy and simon as well lord like simon is like a puppy eyed man magnet jesus

the actor who played valentine's acting...? gagged me. i genuinely fear this man he's so good

werewolves in season 1 got to keep their clothes but in s2 they're naked after transforming? lmao

I have plenty of other projects I should be working on BUT then Mochi started building a shop to fill in the huge wall of dirt between the greenhouse and the boardwalk by the water, and I became CONSUMED with the need to join in and decorate a bunch of tiny houses.... SO!! TOWNHOUSE TIME!! You can also see buildings that Boo (the lime green)and Mochi (the grey and prismarine shop) have been working on in that first image… there's still a bunch along the boardwalk that's under construction, too. I built three townhouses and decorated the upstairs of mochi's shop, many more images under the cut!!

The blue townhouse was the first one I made, with the exterior inspired pretty directly from mechitect's townhouse design tutorial.

it's pretty simple! It's when I started to discover alcoves are interesting with these tiny buildings, since you're sort of dependent on what the house next to you is doing. Oh, also, that painting is one of my custom maps.

The pink townhouse was a little more ambitious - this one has a little kitchen, an aquarium idea I got from klay_designs_mc on instagram and TWO tiny bedrooms (one for the grownups and one for the kids), which may seem very straightforward but actually i took a great deal of psychic damage arranging them to fit in this little 8x8 space

we have some kind of resource pack on our realm that makes every mob drop mob heads occasionally, and I just really like sticking them on shelves as like... some kind of toys or figurines or plushies.

Anyway, while I was excitedly showing my progress to my friends, Mochi asked if I'd be willing to decorate the upstairs of his flower shop -- the building next to my blue townhouse. He wanted it to be a living space above the shop, and mentioned that the large windows might be nice for a kitchen, and other than that left me to my own devices.

TREMENDOUSLY PROUD OF THIS ONE TBH...!!! bed design was inspired by a bluenerd tutorial, and the little hearts are as always inspired by my fav builder CroissantCat, though honestly my entire minecraft portfolio should just have "inspired by bluenerd and/or croissantcat" on the first page. (the lamps are those mob heads again btw -- you can do this with the existing skeleton heads, but if you HAVE glow squid heads like... WHY NOT USE THEM)

anyway at this point I had obviously completely lost my mind, so my third townhouse has an upstairs, a basement, a home office, AND a bathroom. (it wasn't going to have a bathroom originally, but Boo saw the downstairs and gasped in excitement b/c he thought it was a bathroom, sO LIKE.... OBVIOUSLY AFTER THAT I HAD TO ADD A BATHROOM)

watched a WHOLE BUNCH of blendigi Modern Interior Design tutorials for ideas here, including some armour stand crimes to make THAT INCREDIBLE OFFICE CHAIR???? but im still very pleased with my decision to use the one Long Painting as a TV screen lmao

there were actually a whole bunch of planning scribbles for this... it started out with just a little layout of 3 possible designs for townhouse facades, and then turned into MANY floorplan attempts as I tried to figure out how to fit everything I wanted into these smaller spaces:

Seeing Alastors and Vox beef feels like im the child of their divorce, only difference to a real divorce is that they were never romantically involved with eachother and they just have unhealthy obsessions with each other.

Which brings me to my little theory, that Alastor might also have an obsession with Vox or at least gives some kind of shit about him and doesn’t show it so openly like Vox does.

Obviously not in a romantic/sexual way just if like Al hyperfixated on his littel guy too unhealthily. And that would make everything WAY messier because their obsessions have different meanings:

Vox has his little hate-crush

and

Alastor who just wants him for entertainment, maybe Al wants him back as a friend even(that ripped foto haunts me) and doesn’t want Vox advances.

And ig my bit of proof? Is that Al only had duets with two people: Lucifer(who we know he doesn’t like) and Vox

At the end of Stayed Gone Al hints he wants to continue beefing with Vox too

(This theory isn’t og mine its from an irl friend and we expanded on it and i just wanted to share)

I don't think alastor is obsessed with vox but I think he does enjoy his rivalry with him because vox gives him the attention he seeks (as we've seen from his reactions to carmilla and lucifer not giving a fuck about him, he is very bothered when people don't care, meanwhile vox literally broadcasted his return on live tv), and bullying him is probably very entertaining to him LMAOOO. I do think alastor enjoys keeping up his rivalry with vox because of this. and I do think their falling out also impacted his current attitude towards modern tech. I don't think alastor wants vox back as a friend? I mean he's the one that turned down being on a team with him LMAO. maybe he could in a "I wish you didn't end up like this" way!?!???! but at this current point in time, I'm pretty sure alastor was the one who stepped away because he disagreed with vox's worsening attitude or practices

either way I do think vox's obsession with alastor is still imbalanced because of like multiple factors:

their respective reactions to the other first being mentioned after alastor's 7 year absence. kinda talked about it here. but basically when the vees are brought up in front of alastor, he just casually says "oh nobody important". alastor being brought up in front vox causes a very big reaction, and IMMEDIATELY gets him to completely drop the calm and cunning demeanor he had the ENTIRE time before that that he kept up with both his coworkers, employee and civilians. he was calmly able to manipulate val to stop him from going after the hotel. but one mention of alastor made him completely lose his cool. meanwhile for alastor to have a reaction that's similar to that, he had to have his deal that constrained his freedom brought up which is a BIG deal to him, nothing about vox made him react that same way.

most of vox's screentime has alastor occupying his head rent-free, let's not forget the whole of episode 8. alastor stares into vox's cameras to mess with him but like naturally, a large portion of the time alastor is noticeably not thinking of vox. vox meanwhile was already spying specifically on the hotel start of episode 8, literally keeping focus on alastor during the extermination. the only hint of anything in return from this would be like I said, alastor staring into the camera to mess with vox, otherwise vox is not on his mind

not to word of god this but also: Faustisse described Vox as having something of a fixation on Alastor and that he is interested in having Alastor notice him. Alastor does not have the same interest in return. although stated by ex-staff, I do think this made into canon proper LMAO

it's not like I think their rivalry is completely one-sided because alastor will still fight back with petty insults and all that when provoked (he did like immediately return to his radio tower to bash vox when he saw vox trying to diss him in stayed gone), but it's very clear to me only one of them is completely and utterly obsessed with the other

Well, unknown hero agent man / pen symbolism anon, i hope you're reading this, cos you hit the nail on the head! this kind of symbolic storytelling is not only a fine art of cinema (being lost these days a little sadly, what with the whole netflix speedy turnover etc), but exactly what (good) films of the horror genre aim to do.

horror has long been a way to creatively tell 'normal' dramatic stories through subtext and symbolism. not sure if this is still a way around traditional censorship but im sure it began that way. films like the exorcist, the shining, rosemary's baby... all classics that are filled with subtext. its also an exciting way to talk about things that might seem trite or too bleak when portrayed as a 'straight' drama (this is the term meaning 'non-genre based' or 'non-musical' lmao). So you could say that ST is NOT straight, in more ways than one 😉

but much of this will go over casual viewers heads, so its finding the balance between making a story believable on the surface (another dimension exists! scary government men trying to kill us!) and subtextually (the UD as a metaphor for trauma/AIDS/closeted homosexuality/abuse etc) if viewers are clever enough to see/feel it. i say feel because much of storyviewing is instinctive instead of analytical.

so ST incorporates both - not just metaphorical, vague storytelling, but also real issues too. but it goes one step further, and actually has characters talk explicitly about reading deeper into stuff (murray's behind the curtain speech). it's a very meta show, even for a genre piece, which is why it astounds me that some people think it's not that deep lol. and some people think that only literature can be deep, but never tv or movies - which is an insult to anyone who has ever been passionate about cinema tbh. It's a statement that would probably rip the heart out of the duffers' chests and stomp on it. these guys are super nerds who have dedicated their adult lives to this passion project. as finn said, 'most people make it then just cash in - im so glad they still care'.

I'm sorry you don't feel comfortable talking about the beauty of this storytelling on your main. it really does surprise me that the fandom is so censorship obsessed because sexual metaphors have long existed in visual media, and especially in horror films. there used to be a long post about byler and a potential sex scene at lover's lake on here, but the user disappeared and the post went missing. it was about all the sexual imagery in ST, with a focus on byler in s4. i especially loved how they mentioned mike's introduction, where he was just in underwear: it is both appropriate for the setting, but also gets the audience used to him as a growing lad with a body and draws attention to those uncomfortable, potentially sexual aspects of being a teen. i mean, he was in tiny pants for god's sake. did we need to see that? why did we see it? etc etc

hilariously, they also referenced the always sunny in philadelphia scene where a character is in a therapist office talking about a pen being a dick. he then puts it in his mouth and chews the pen lmoao

i think you'd enjoy @therainscene's rod symbolism post too. I'm personally hoping for some explicit sex scenes with byler, because the show so far has arguably been telling that story metaphorically already for 4 seasons, and bringing it out of the subtext could be a storytelling device in itself. bringing byler's secrets into the light. after all, this is a period piece that aims to shed light on a bygone era. its not a propaganda piece that needs to remain coded; the reasons for staying secretive still exist for mike and will in the 80s, but times have changed since then for us as a global audience, and more importantly, the aspirational message has changed. what message would the duffs want to send to viewers that are still bigoted? clearly one of the beauty of homosexuality, seeing as will, our fav gay boy, has been the darling sympathetic victim of the show since s1e1. the show needs to remain true to both the 80s while also having a strong message for this decade in order for modern audiences to be able to gain something from watching this story; in order for there to be a reason the show exists at all.

so to answer your question, i had never picked up on the pen symbolism until now, but i immediately agree, not least because 1) it must have a meaning that connects to byler's conversation otherwise why does it just interrupt them with no reason? (from a storytelling pov), and 2) because of the always sunny scene lolllll

there's no way i can make it brief xD So..today i was in an odd mood, feeling so sensitive that any time someone talked to me i almost flinch from how overwhelming it is. And a certain heaviness. sunday is slimbo's only day off tho so i wanted to hang out. We decided to draw, and as we were finishing setting up i suddenly remembered my stereo & how i havent used it all winter. i grabbed it from my room n put it on slimbo's bedroom floor , i was sitting next to it as we focused on drawing for a few hours n listened to CDs.

then as we were about to eat dinner slimbo suggested we watch sopranos. i was reluctant due to my mood today, and ok hear me out: Something about sopranos has like, consistently felt really psychic to me, cus i dont watch it that often but every time i do it's like. that episode will be freakishly synchronized w something happening in my life at that moment. usually in a metaphorical way. Could just be power of suggestion but ive never rly had that with a show before except for a few animes.

ANYWAYS..i agreed to watch it because i felt it to be fateful that slimbo suggested it. like Ok what message is this supposed to send me today, might as well see since i'm already in this strange mood. We sat on the ground where i was drawing and started watching. and ofc, (spoiler warning,) ofc the last ep we watched was the one where junior shoots tony, so this episode is the one where tony's dying in hospital (and having his prolonged dream sequence). Which, if you know me, you maybe know about my Core Wound, but if you dont, well, it definitely involves hospitals and death and fathers. So i'm just sitting there watching like LMAO 🙂 Ok Guess this is what's on tonight's agenda Let's Gooooo 🙂

and i can see slimbo keeps looking at me with an expression like "we can turn it off" but i was like nah im going to watch this im curious now. (i havent seen season 6 of sopranos in 6 years and its the season i have the least memory of because when i watched it i was high as fuck on opiates due to getting my appendix removed (awful experience) so it kinda feels like my first time seeing it). i keep watching and THEN. THE WEIRDEST SHIT OF MY LIFE OCCURED

the fucking scene. Where carmela's in the hospital room with tony and she receives a stereo from chris. she takes it out of the box and i'm like wait....it's only showing the back of it at first, but it looks so familiar, i look over to my right where my stereo is coincidentally sitting on the floor next to me with the back facing me. it's the same. then i see her open the cd slot. ITS THE EXACT SAME FUCKING STEREO SAME color SAME model SAME Everything !!!! and the part that freaked me out most is that my stereo is always just sitting on top of my tv i almost never move it even when i use it but at that moment it just happened to be sitting there on the floor RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO ME !!!

idk. it gave me kind of an adrenaline rush. it freaked me out. like that is bizarre i dont know. especially with the context of the stereo in the show and how it's there in the hospital to play music for tony as he's basically dying. hospital scenes r always like, intense for me on a cellular level. but that just kinda blew my mind. i got this stereo from a thrift store 2 years ago i had no idea it was in the show lol. IDK. i feel like there's a message here. something to do with my dad and healing and music. See im telling you like.....sopranos makes me consistently feel that God is joking around w me, its ususlly just a feeling but today it was tangible. so.... o_o

im rewatching the smosh liveshow and i wanted to keep track of my favorite moments so they are below the cut

angela's tippy tappy toes of joy at amanda's new jersey voice

amanda's "LOOK IT UP" for increasingly unrealistic things, and ending it with "are you at peace are you at peace are you at peace hello areyouatpeaceareyouatpeaceareyouatpeace anthony areyouatpeace DON'T GOOGLE ME"

tommy's "only a tragic life could lead to looking like if a motorcycle was gay ... i can say that, i'm a motorcycle" and him saying the meaning of anthony's tattoos was so that he could fuck goth girls. oh and how could i forget describing angela as an "amber alert on rollerblades"

the cool ass music when the guests came on, made by tommy bowe i think? i honestly would listen to the music from the show all on its own

brandon rogers' "let's. eat. anthony!" and then making a very emphatic pitch as to why it would be a great idea

THE HALF-TIME SHOW OF COURSE. i know that they mostly won't post the show on youtube but i really really hope they post the half-time show

also a detail i just noticed is josh playing that escalating carnival "do do do do!" when chanse and keith got iced

dan and phil's extremely explicit video message with dan's repeated references to jerking off onto anthony's sexy calendar

courtney as bikini girl while still wearing doc martins. and there's something about the rhythm of "get you a girl who can do both two things two one time! :D" that is so funny, as well as "women are so scawwy ooohh!! what's under your blouse, two perfectly round GUNS? OHH!!"

rhett and link showing up standing menacingly in the doorway, and their tag line being "A Jesus and a Lesbian Woman"

the multiple "ian loves drinking breast milk" jokes

the chosen: "you're probably wondering why i look so badass right now. its because we are on the cusp of the greatest battle in the entire history of the universe.

i am glad that even though they made him look cool as fuck, shayne still emphasized that the chosen is not nearly as cool as he thinks he is.

"worst of all, anthony padilla HAD SEX!" and then quoting the star wars prequels lmao

also shayne singing without any self consciousness was very funny to me, but i can't put my finger on what the song was

ian saying i love you but having to say it in a silly voice (and in the after show anthony saying he can say i love you back to ian because unlike ian, he's actually said it before)

anthony's joke about how he expected everyone to roast him about his "dick piercing" and the entire audience going "wait wait, go back to that, what did you just say" and him moving on with no further comment

anthony to shayne: "i won't talk about how you were once known for your promising tv career and now you're known for wearing a t-shirt with limes on it''

chanse just full on horror movie screaming when anthony said arasha was in an ad for a republican dating app. also arasha's faces for everything were so great

keith full on responding whenever someone addresses him (and sometimes reacts out loud just because), he did this in the other funerals as well but it delights me every time

anthony saying chanse slides into his dms all the time, and chanse immediately replying "you respond, bitch!" (and then later anthony saying that chanse can go with mythical and he "can call link daddy now" but "watch out, [chanse] dms")

i loved anthony's reference to tommy's show serving cunt

anthony to amanda: "you're like if jessica rabbit drove a mini van"

anthony to ian: "one thing we all know about ian is he might have some trouble showing emotions" ian proceeds to stare deadpan into the camera. it was fun watching ian's reactions because often he wouldn't react to a lot of it or he would react as part of the bit, i've already forgotten the one thing that he really reacted to, fuck so i might have to rewatch it again

and then my favorite part of the aftershow was amanda and tommy continuously leaning in to make out and then saying "no save it for the parking lot, save it for the parking lot", and no they were not going to go anywhere, they were going to stay in the parking lot at smosh and make out in the car
