Sir Daniel Fortesque, back from the dead once again!
—
What started as a practice sketch quickly blew up into a full blown poster for the story, and I can’t complain over the chain of thought that led me to this decision. Then the thought process had me thinking about recreating one of MediEvil II’s posters, if not just making one for myself. Plus, this gave me an excuse to work on full-backgrounds again!

I cried at the end of the game, because I am close to the story of rebirth: from loser to hero. Using a fictional character as an example, I would like to become a better person, going through life's trials and losses with dignity. "Heroes don't die in their first battle, Tilly."
I was watching Disney's Sleeping Beauty and got inspired to finish this drawing of Gallowmere's most doomed-by-the-narrative friend group/polycule. From left to right is Wartilda/The Pumpkin Witch, Sir Daniel Fortesque, and Canny Tim, and no one is escaping that Battle of Gallowmere unscathed, especially not the poor woman who has to bury both her fiance and her best friend.
