Here's some pre-war Shockwave lore:

Shockwave was originally a senator (I'm still figuring out in what city), but his mind was rarely focused on his job. His dream was to be a scientist, not a senator (since jobs were chosen for Cybertronians). He would often skip work just to work on his experiments that only Soundwave and later on, Orion Pax knew about. His works and experiments all had the same goal, making Cybertron a better/equal place to live in. And since he worked with/close to Cybertron's government, he knew about most conflicts/issues on Cybertron.

Early years of war Shockwave lore:

During the begining of the war, Shockwave's experiments were exposed to the public after autobots finding out he was allies with the newly formed group which were nameless at the time (the deceptions). With his experiments out in the open, many autobots were angered and thought of them as dark science since Shockwave kept them hidden. Ever since, he was considered a mad scientist that had to be captured. He was hunted down by bounty hunter Lockdown, which at the time, was an autobot. He was found in a burning down factory carrying a newly forged cybertronian who was abandoned. Because of this, the autobots accused him of stealing sparklings just to experiment on them. He was then given the punishment of empurata, with extra weapons and parts just so that he would have to "carry the weight of his crimes".

After Empurata lore:

After the punishment, Shockwave, with his newly formed emotionless mind, k!lled the group of bots who performed the punishment on him. He later on escaped and hid in the wastelands where he worked tirelessly day and night trying to find any way of restoring his memories and emotions. He wasn't seen for years after that.

So y'all might be wondering, how did he join the 'cons?

The deceptions at this time we're trying to build ships to escape cybertron and hopefully find a better place to regroup and start their own Cybertron. Luckily, Megatron stumbled across the place Shockwave was hiding in. At first, he didn't recognize Shockwave due to the massive change in appearence because of the empurata. Shockwave had just invented a cure for his memory loss and it was just kicking in so he still didn't remember much so he attacked Megatron. During the battle, the cure finally kicked in and his memories came back to him. After some apologies and etc. Megatron asked him to join his team as the scientist. Shockwave agreed.

Shockwave now:

Shockwave usually spends his time in his lab inside the Nemesis. He's a really nice guy since he has his memories/emotions back. He's found ways of making the empurata punishment more bearable for him, as well as finding out how he can remove parts and rebuild his body. But with the lack of materials, he can't do much. Lockdown's a decepticon now, and he's apologized for what he did in the past. Shockwave isn't entirely sure wether to trust him or not though, so he keeps his distance.

He is a big hugger though, careful he doesn't break you. :)

Some additional info:

-He's around 70-75 in robot years. (I've been adjusting their ages)

-His alt most is kinda like the TFP one

-Blitzwing hates him (since he's had some trauma w/ scientists before)

-Pronouns: he/him

-The little sparkling he rescued was Thrust, and after joining the decepticons, he decided to take care of her (yeah Thrust's a she :]) so that someday he can prove to the autobots that he only meant good intentions that day.

That's kinda what I'm brainstorming so far lmao 💀

(I'm also thinking of maybe during the Empurata, Soundwave and Megatron try to save him but he attacks them too before he runs off idk lmao)

Its very late for the Valentine’s Day I know but here it is 🐑✨

I wanted so much to draw this two together because it’s been a long time since I drew them 😔

(I had priorities— *cough*)

I had also started and finished Inazuma Eleven Ares in 4 days (yes it’s short I have the time for it lmao)

And I also started Orion (I’m only halfway in the episode, episode 26 and I’m already angry with the person concerned)

(And Atsuya is not discreet one on this scene in Russia even if it’s his birthday 😭)

So I trained on this style of Inazuma Eleven which seems to me much more technical in terms of line and shading since there is a difference between them and OG/GO.

Even if Shirou is a little grown up, Astro is always taller than him 🤭

And also the color 😔 I only change Astro’s skin color for more colorful !

The hardest part was the bouquets but I’m proud of the result ! As well as you have as a Bonus their SD version on their outfits !

About this two there ! Astro in Ares/Orion, knowing that they has their twin sister alive but the situation remains the same, they rarely expresses themself even if they is given attention, (since they saw very little Shirou after the accident and their long journey with Asta. They spoke to each other only via call) they will always remain indifferent.

Unless if we offer them Takoyaki, you make them more happy than that XD

Apparently, in one of the old posts, I noticed that Optimus' and Elita's relationship are kinda tough.

Get ready for a Lore Dump LMAO

Optimus had Ignored Elita Wish to NOT Put Rodimus (their Son in the AU) to a College far from the main Cybertronian HQ instead Optimus Put Rodimus to another Nation To attend a college there.

He thought it would be a good idea for Rodimus to be away from all Cybertronian As possible, for Rodimus safety because Nova Prime was Still alive and Still hunting Rodimus Down, So Sending Rodimus Away under cover was his Option to protect Rodimus.

Rodimus End up Having a Breakdown because of His Low self esteem thinking his Father abandoned him... so Optimus decide to Send SoundWave instead of Listening to Elita who's been telling him to Take Rodimus back to the HQ and they could Figure things out for His Protection.

Sadly That didn't end well... in the end Senator RatBat found them, And things goes down hill... (SoundWave Past trauma and added a new one, Rodimus Anger causing his Power to get out of hand from times to time and Red Alert getting Involved to help them)

When things goes downhill Elita had begged him to Intervene and Help Rodimus who's On the run from the public, Almost Killed by Nova Prime... But Optimus had refused to Send anyone and had Refused others to help, which Cause a bit Impact on their Relationship.

Optimus had refuse to help because Rodimus Hunt was Public and He think it's best not to get involved, He doesn't want to put anyone's life on the line which cause Elita go get even more mad and it Had impact in their marriage.

And after that stuff went down, Rodimus got captured and almost died, Elita Went out of Command and she went out To Safe him with just drift and SoundWave that help, Thankfully they manage to Get Rodimus back although it doesn't mean they leave without a scratch (especially that they didn't even get any Back up while fighting Senator Ratbat, Sentinel prime, etc)

After that... That's when their relationship start to Truly Fall apart and Elita Had Refuse to talk to Optimus outside work, Even refusing to look at him.

Behold my stupid robot cat! His name's Zaygon

This is STILL probably my best colored illustration of him, honestly, and it was a doodle from LAST YEAR when I was watching a video about pride flags, lmao (paired Zaygon with a pan flag because, well, it's accurrate, haha!)

My watch history may or may not be 50/50 gaming and EDUTAINMENT lmao

The scale of him might actually be changed, perhaps, I just know that he is about as big as a large transformer.

Zaygon's lore goes that he is an alien robot (still not settled on whether that means 'robotic evolved organism', or more of a mecha/Orion's Arm vec situation) living on Mars, where he works on a remote outpost on one of the poles. Zaygon kind of rotates around between geology, and guarding smaller Not Giant Robot scientists from the local Unreasonably Large Fauna.

Some of you might have seen Zaygon before, most notably on my secret FA account that I use for stuff unsuitable for main, haha ;u;

Not sure if I should post any of that stuff here, as while it is actually extremely TAME stuff, I know Tumblr can be kinda. unpredictable in whether or not it allows adult content to Exist (tm). Maybe, though. There's an artist I follow who draws similar stuff that's actually LESS tame than what I draw, yet seems to be able to mostly get things through since it's usually very abstract stuff that's not actually explicit in any way.

IDK! But I guess if you like big monsters with sharp teeth and cozy insides, (politely) let me know, so that I know there's an actual benefit to taking that risk.

Feel like I should make a few posts explaining my Epic Santa Lore™, so I figured I’d start out with Rudy’s friends (in my own version-)

So first we have: Holly!! She’s one his his close friends, and pretty grumpy. She still loves all her friends though!! Also, her and Rudy are both trans. Since female reindeer keep their antlers in December, she wears fake ones. Rudolph isn’t as self conscious about his own antlers.

Then: Orion!! Orion is Comet’s little brother and another one of Rudy’s close friends!! He’s really cheery and nice, and really loves astronomy. He can be kinda clueless sometimes about other things, though…pure of heart, dumb of ass. TYPICALLY he has the Orion constellation on his flank but. Sometimes I just don’t feel like drawing it-

Now we got: Luna!! She’s Comet and Orion’s sister. I don’t draw her as much as the others but she’s still there. Also her and Holly might have something going on. And it’s extremely obvious to everyone else but them. Who knows.

Next up is: Fireball…the boy!! Name is borrowed from the Rankin/Bass Rudolph, but honestly he’s not that similar to him in terms of personality; my version is more like Ronno from Bambi II (he gets better, though). He’s pretty new so I don’t have a solid design for him yet. Actually Luna doesn't have one either lmao- Also, him and Holly are worsties.

And lastly: Braxus!! In my version of Rudolph, I had this idea of Rudy running away when he was younger and getting lost. This leads to him collapsing on the ground and a yeti finding him. This yeti is Braxus (yes I got that name from the owl house-). In the time Rudolph is lost, he and Braxus get really close with each other; basically like brothers.

Hello! This is the same anon who asked the Kaeya and diluc sibling relationship compared to Wei Wuxian and Jiang CHENG. HSHSHSHS. Okay, so I'm playing the game now, done with the quests, and I got that they're like... have a complicated relationship. From only playing the game, I got that they're pretty indifferent to each other but I was also like "???" the whole time. After exploring and reading the Manga, I just don't get them anymore LMAO. But yes, they're definitely different from WWX and JC. I've only been playing for a little while, and found it really fun. The lore is really interesting. If it's okay, can I ask what you thought of the recent archon quest? I couldn't stop screaming actually. We had little interaction with Kaeya on that quest but so many to unpack lol. He's so sus. I think in present time at least Kaeya may want to have a friendship, at least, with Diluc. Whereas Diluc wants to choose indifference between them due to their past and his lack of trust in Kaeya anymore. In that sense, I suppose I get him as he had been manipulated at the start of that relationship, regardless of how Kaeya may have felt and changed with his feelings about the Ragnvindrs. Trust once broken, isn't something you can get back if the other doesn't want to give it. But I think Kaeya has made peace with that regardless in the present as he has built a life for himself outside of that family.

I also have to wonder if Kaeya is settling to run again from his past, until it blows up once more because of his continued secrecy he doesn't disclose. As for the recent quest, it may end up being that Kaeya knows far more about the other sibling than anyone else in story that we know of. He had been raised and left in Mondstadt as a spy of Khaenri'ah and that sibling is explicitly trying to restore that civilization actively against the Seven. They've been in charge of the Abyss for several centuries at least. So I wouldn't find it surprising if he knows more and is sidestepping both the Abyss sibling as well as by Dainsleif as his way of avoiding his past, per what he sees as assimilation with Mondstadt that he does love.

But I do feel Kaeya's lesson of hiding things will probably turn out badly for him once again and he has yet to really learn of that consequence in full.

I think you have some great theories but some require so much explanation to make it work and are buried in references and outside sources, we almost get away from what we know - SJM makes whatever lore she pulls from her own. Some are so complex and very specific to the way you analyze, we can't possibly expect SJM to have been on the same wavelength as you. Considering how often SJM retcons and contradicts herself in interviews, I just don't think she's putting in as much work as some fans do with some theories. Yes, she has plot twists and turns, but they aren't overly layered and she's not the best as creating two demensional villains either. She's also made some questionable writing decisions that so many fans never could've predicted. Like, I remember all the wild theories for KOA & ACOSF and none were remotely close to what she planned in terms of plot development aside from the obvious, Nessian as endgame. I think at best, the theories that do come to fruition are the simple ones even causal readers can pick up. I think you have some creative ideas, but I think we are expecting too much from SJM.I think she's a simple gal, who loves writing romance. Will you be disappointed if none of your theories come to be true? If none come true, I hope it doesn't stop you from expressing your thought and blogging, there's so many other fandoms who would appreciate you in their corner.

I think first and foremost, it goes without saying that most SJM fan theories will (likely) be wrong in some capacity - my own included. I am definitely aware of this, which is why I am intentional with my wording (ie. I will never say "I figured it out!", or try and present my theories as canon facts). For me personally, theorising isn't about trying to be "right" (as that's pretty much impossible); instead, it's about pondering all the different possibilities that SJM could take in future books, and then sharing these possibilities within a community.

As for expecting too much from SJM - I am undecided. I do see where you are coming from, and I especially agree with KOA; a perfect example of this was Elide's character - SJM hinted several times that Elide had Blackbeak blood (which spurred on the creation of many incredible theories), but then it ultimately lead to nothing...? However, I also know that Merrill's hypothesis in ACOSF (about the 11 different dimensions, or as many as 26) is a direct reference to String Theory - and then the Harp, with the 26 strings, represents this. To me, this does indeed suggest that SJM is thinking about her worlds (and how they interact) beyond the surface level.

This is also why I often reference outside sources in my theories (such as mythology or folklore), because to me it is clear that SJM derives so much inspiration from these same sources. For example, Helion appears to be named after "Helios" (Greek god of the sun), and Thesan appears to be named after "Thesan" (Etruscan goddess of dawn). Knowing that SJM is connecting her characters in this way lends itself to questioning the other remaining characters - for example, why is Hunt named after Orion; a famous hunter in Greek mythology? Why is Mor named after The Morrigan; a famous war goddess/shapeshifter/banshee in Celtic mythology? Does it mean something? (Or, are you right, and SJM is just choosing names at random?)

So, I guess I can admit that I do have high expectations of SJM going forward, and that my theories reflect that. However, if SJM does indeed opt for more "basic" storylines in her future books (ie. much less of a crossover than we are anticipating), then it wouldn't be the first time that my theories have failed to account for that. In the past, I have actually posted theories for two well known TV/book series, and both went "viral" within those respective fandoms (I still remember when Reese Witherspoon posted a news article about my theory to her instagram story lmao). However, both times, the author went for a much more "obvious" ending, and as a result, I was on the receiving end of fandom backlash (that my thoughts were too "outlandish," or that my expectations were too high).

But, that's still part of the fun. Honestly, my one true goal is to write my own fantasy series - that way, I am free to include as many "outlandish" twists, turns, and ideas as I wish !! :)

hhhhhh uh so for a little while now, I've been really heavily debating my name n such. I use a fake name online (i do respond to it irl though lmao) and for now it's been Tristan. I'm honestly super really happy with it and like it a lot. But at the same time, I just feel lacking, and I have certain kinshifts that I really lean towards.

Dave/Will are somewhat taken by a few moots (NO SHADE THERE GUYS POP OFF YOU GO HONEY!!!) and honestly, I don't even connect with them as much either.

So, after a long debate with myself over how cringe it would be considered to kin a certain character and such and how I'd feel admitting it, I decided to suck it up and face it. ccid. so uhhhh yeah!

I know not too many people i know here are really that aware of the transformers lore, but holy crap. oh my god. I kin Orion Pax SO HARD. iykyk esp with my insane fixation on Optimus prime, I love my baby man to bits and know how he feels on a spiritual level. He is so awesome and sweet and fun raaaggggghghghghghghgh

So yeah, in order of preference, though not strict, Tristan/Pax/Rion.

as for why I chose Rion instead of Orion, A. KWITE. if you know, YOU KNOW. (I love the hoodie, back off. kwitetrap supremacy), and B. Orion sounds so basic I'm sorry 😭 not to shade anyone I'm sorry but it just doesn't feel right. and it's TOO gender neutral yk??? Rion sounds really similar to Ryan, and I love that name so much. So, think of it more as Tristan/Pax/Ryan, heck I'll even use Ryan too that can be a secret between whoever actually reads my identity crisis rambling eheheh

I think it's fun to contrast what is depicted in Challenge Of hades with what is depicted in the animated series and see what differences were made with certain mythological things.

Right! I was talking about that a little bit from the last ask lol! Like Demeter (who had a British accent instead of an American one in the series) mentioning Persephone being kidnapped by Hades (also still not sure if she was supposed to be his daughter in that, I doubt it since Demeter said “my daughter” and not “our daughter”, so I’m assuming it was just meant to be like the OG myth where he kidnapped her to marry her) and Artemis having the movie design and voice change.

I also love that Artemis and Apollo actually mention that they’re twins unlike the series where they don’t mention it at all (maybe they weren’t meant to be twins in the series? Idk). And Artemis in the game/movie was not only goddess of the wild, but also goddess of the hunt, so she (from what she said in the game) had hunting hounds and nymph companions which is a lot different compared to Artemis in the series who cherished and protected animals so much that she punished hunters (even though she literally dated Orion who was a famous hunter lmao) for trying to hunt animals in her forest (also it’s hinted a lot that she’s sort of a “hippy” in the series that loves nature/animals and prefers vegan/vegetarian foods and offerings instead of ones that involve meat)

But yeah, it’s really nice to see the differences of the characters from the movie/game to the ones in the series. You can really see how much they changed them for the sake of the series. Honestly, I prefer the movie versions of most if not all the characters. They seem more mythologically accurate and they have better voices and designs imo. I wish the people who had made the series had kept them, but I mean, as I’ve said many times before, the show is basically canon divergent to the movie, so I guess changing the characters wouldn’t really matter if the plot doesn’t even follow movie lore lol

I am writing a story with a story within it and I can tell you that the lore inside the story is way more interesting. It's good omens fic where aziraphale is a food vlogger who makes food from books and crowley is an author. And the books Crowley writes are about space homesteaders terraforming a specific planet and the main character is named orion and theres some play on canon stuff saka the first book is called the fall of Orion but the second book is called Paxx which is about Orion's android who Orion falls in love with. ANYWAY so much lore.
