Character Profile: Alyosha Shvedov

This charming goof, with dimples that just won't quit, is the first character we've profiled who doesn't have a knack. He is power-less. Fun fact, while all members of SolCorp have a knack (unless it was harmful and removed), members of the Entropy Games Inc (the antagonist) are made up of both knacked and unknacked humans working in alliance.

One character's response to finding out he used to work for Entropy about sums him up:

“There’s no way Alyosha was an Entropy agent. He’s so nice!”

OC Scenario Game

I've had this game sitting around in my files since the mid-00s (yes, I'm that old). It seems to have originated with Meguey over on fairgame-rpgs.com and was popular on LJ back in the day. Must be time to resurrect it!

This game is a fun way to explore other aspects of your characters by putting them into random situations.

First, select 12 of your characters, in no particular order, and number them. Once you've done that, look at the questions below and answer accordingly. (No peeking until you've picked your characters!)

Reblog to answer for your own OCs! Be sure to tag some friends to join in the fun!

Who would make a better college professor, 6 or 11?

Do you think 2 is hot? How hot?

Character 12 sends 6 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?

What is or would be 9’s favorite book?

Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 5, or vice versa?

For whatever reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should 5 share a studio apartment with 9 or with 10?

If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?

If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?

Characters 1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4’s sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that they are actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5, they seek out 3, who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?

New stranger oc just dropped

She’s a ballerina in season one, but wants to see what happened to her idol, who ended up becoming a vast avatar and disappearing, and slowly finds what happened until she starts becoming of the stranger, with some guidance from some other stranger avatars. Character Profile: Penn Harris

It's been a minute but here's the next profile as drawn by my co-writer & partner! Penn is our favorite curmudgeon. He has one of the hardest jobs in all of SolCorp: he runs the division responsible for making sure the outside world doesn't discover the existence of knacked people.

So when some drunk telekinetic 20-something leaves a bar and decides it would be fun to make a car levitate and bystanders throw it up on tiktok, it's Penn's job to keep it out of the news. Poor bastard.
